Tamar Braxton Throws Daggers at Kenya Moore and Kenya STRIKES BACK!

Tamar Braxton appeared on Bravo's "WWHL" Monday and Andy Cohen asked her about Kenya Moore's "Gone With The Wind Fabulous" single. Tamar came back with, “She sings?” I didn’t know that was a serious record. No shade.”

When asked directly about Kenya, she said “She’s not my favorite..My favorite is NeNe."  She then gave a "disgusted" look and added, "Something about the thirst of it all...the whole pageant thing.”

Shots fired....and Miss USA was not pleased.

Actually...she was #unbothered (which translated into "not pleased").  Then she came for Tamar's edges...

Are Safaree Samuels And Nicki Minaj No Longer A Couple?

Rumor has been spreading that Nicki Minaj is no longer dating her boyfriend Safaree Samuels since May when she tweeted, “SINGLE N READY TO MINGLE,” but now there might be some photographic evidence to confirm the breakup.

TMZ has obtained photos of Safaree with his shirt off and his chest tattoos of Nicki’s face and name appear to be covered up completely. Along with this, his arm forearm tattoo of Nicki has considerably faded, leading to speculation that he is in the process of getting it removed completely.

In a recent interview with L’Uomo Vouge, Nicki opened up about her future but did not mention Safaree once, saying that she was still looking for her soulmate.

“In order to earn her success, she has created the image of a volatile and man-eating woman, who places her career above all else.” the Italian Vogue magazine writes.”It is therefore surprising to hear her dreaming about a traditional family with ‘an upright man, who will take care of me. The time is not yet ripe, but when I decide to get married and become a mother’, she adds, speaking of her future soul mate, ‘I would like to take a hiatus and dedicate myself completely to my child’.”

This time she’s bringing along a panel — model Chrissy Teigen, fashion guru Joe Zee, DIY YouTuber Leah Ashle and interior designer Lauren Makk round out the co-hosts for The F.A.B. (Fun And Beautiful).

According to Deadline,

Banks will moderate the panel of lifestyle experts who also will bring in celebrities, Internet influencers, experts and everyday people and tackle topics ranging from fashion and beauty to food and design to doing it yourself and even starting a business.

We’re here for it. The F.A.B. will air on ABC sometime 2015.

While Nelly continues to make moves in his business life and will soon be co-starring with Ms. Jackson in a BET reality show, his biggest pride has always been his children, two of which are his and two of which he adopted when his sister passed away in 2005 after a three year battle with leukemia. Bishop Jakes Calls Critic A Coward, Defends Preachers Wearing Bling

Apparently, us sinners aren’t the only ones that clap back at each other on social media — apparently, so do saints. We caught Bishop T.D. Jakes politely checking one of his critics, who questioned the fact that he was wearing a diamond ring in one of his Instagram photos. An Instagram user by the name of @photo_syn_the_sis, left the following observation on Jakes’ Instagram page:

I didn’t know that preachers wear diamond rings, preachers are supposed to be humble Like Jesus was and preach the real truth. You are not even close being like Jesus, you flash your ring, but the truth is you say you know God but do you really. God wouldn’t flash Jewelry around you really need to read your Bible. Retailers Promote ‘Ebola Costumes’ For Halloween (And Some of You Think It’s Cool)

*With Halloween only a few short weeks away, costume outlets are ablaze with what kind of dollars they can bring in from the latest costume craze. What will it be this year? A superhero? A scary monster? A hazmat suit? An Ebola victim?

Social media buzz is leaning towards the last two.

Actor Ben Vereen's son, Ben Jr., arrested for shoplifting in New York…

Ben Vereen Jr. was arrested yesterday after getting caught swiping toothpaste, toothbrushes, and phone chargers from an Upper West Side CVS.

According to Page Six Ben Jr. tussled with security guards before cops showed up to arrest him.

The actor's son has since been charged with robbery. Turns out sticky fingers isn't Jr's only problem…

Apparently police officers found a crack pipe with crack residue in the police car that transported Ben Jr. to the station.

Now, in addition to robbery, Ben Vereen Jr is being charged with tampering with physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance.

Funk Fest Tampa brings a sharp Jill Scott to Raymond James Stadium

 “Those off you that have true love, I hope you make that good love tonight,” Jill Scott laughed as she wound up her 90-minute set at Funk Fest Tampa just outside Raymond James Stadium.

“Think of me once – maybe twice,” the Philadelphia soul singer encouraged the crowd of more than 10,000 as she prepared to sing her big hit, He Loves Me (Lyzel in E Flat).

The performances, was heavy on selections from her debut album Words and Sounds Vol. 1. Jams like It’s Love, The Way and Getting’ in The Way got huge audience responses, inspiring sing-alongs and whoops.

It was performance that was uniquely Jill, while still paying homage to the predecessors that made her style possible. Her full band, including three backup singers, keyborads, bass, guitar, drums, trumpet and saxophone, warmed up as a stage technician rolled out a carpet center stage.

Like Patti LaBelle before her, Scott strutted out in beautifully jeweled six-inch heels that would not make it through the entire performance. She opened with Gimme to establish the full jam-session feeling between her and her musicians. Both horn players got to waddle down to the front of the stage and get funky with it while Scott made faces like she’d just smelled something awful, yet awesome.

Interplay between Scott and her instrumentalists was commonplace, and every song was a real live performance with quirks and things you may never hear again. He Loves Me became a hybrid wondrous monstrous celebration of life. She scatted, locked her fingertips and squeezed out notes that might make some divas jealous, and belted “Gracias por mi vida,” before freestyling for eight bars about being happy to be in Tampa

Oh No Ma’am: Scientist Stumbles Upon ‘Puppy-Sized’ Spider in the Rainforest

What would you do if you were walking along the forest and stumbled across what you thought was a small furry animal — but it turned out to be a MASSIVE spider?

That’s exactly what happened to Piotr Naskrecki during a nighttime walk in a rainforest in Guyana. He heard a rustling sound of a critter at his feet & turned on his flashlight.

“When I turned on the light, I couldn’t quite understand what I was seeing,” said Naskrecki, an entomologist and photographer at Harvard University’s Museum of Comparative Zoology.

It took a second, but that’s when he realized he was looking at a ginormous spider.

Known as the South American Goliath birdeater (Theraphosa blondi), the colossal arachnid is the world’s largest spider, according to Guinness World Records. Its leg span can reach up to a foot (30 centimeters), or about the size of “a child’s forearm,” with a body the size of “a large fist,” Naskrecki told Live Science. And the spider can weigh more than 6 oz. (170 grams) — about as much as a young puppy, the scientist wrote on his blog.

Some sources say the giant huntsman spider, which has a larger leg span, is bigger than the birdeater. But the huntsman is much more delicate than the hefty birdeater — comparing the two would be “like comparing a giraffe to an elephant,” Naskrecki said.

As Naskrecki moved in closer to the spider, he noticed the creature rubbing its legs against his abdomen. As it turns out, the spider was brushing off hairs that have microscopic barbs on them. Whenever they get caught in a predator’s eyes or any mucous membranes they are “extremely painful and itchy,” and can stay there for days, he said.

Lucky for him, the venomous spiders aren’t deadly to humans. While a bit from the creature would really hurt, it’s not nearly life-threatening. They attack anything they encounter, but primarily feed on insects and earthworms that come out at night.

After catching the specimen he found in Guyana, which was female, Naskrecki took her back to his lab to study. She’s now being studied in a museum.

We have absolute no desire to go to Guyana. In fact, we’ll stay away from neighboring countries just to be safe.

Chris Webber part of group trying to purchase Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have had a rough couple of years. Even though the team has had moderate success on the court, making it to the playoffs, the arena is usually pretty empty on game night. The Hawks most recent troubles stem from a racist tinged e-mail sent by owner  Bruce Levenson, and inappropriate comments from team GM Danny Ferry.

Levenson is selling his majority shares, and so far there are about six potential buyers, including a group that involves Hawks legend, Dominique Wilkins. But, he isn’t the only retired NBA that’s interested, NBA TV analyst Chris Webber is too.

Chris Webber is part of a potential ownership group that has submitted a letter of interest to the NBA about its desire to purchase the Atlanta Hawks, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Webber would have a modest financial investment in the partnership, but is expected to emerge as a face of the bid with an ultimate goal of becoming a prominent figure on the basketball side for the Hawks, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Webber, 41, has had a home in Atlanta for the past decade and has been working to connect with community officials and organizations to make a case for reselling the organization to an increasingly dubious public.

Jacqueline Kennedy expressed disdain for Martin Luther King Jr. on newly released tape recordings - saying she couldn’t look at a picture of him “without thinking…that man’s terrible” - but later came to admire the civil rights leader.

Kennedy called King a “phony” and “tricky” during hours of chatty, never-before-revealed interviews with the historian Arthur Schlesinger that he tape recorded.
The interviews took place in 1963, shortly after Kennedy had been assassinated.

The former First Lady said on the tapes that King had made derogatory remarks about her husband’s funeral and the Cardinal who celebrated Mass at the event, according to a report on the tapes by the
“He made fun of Cardinal Cushing and said that he was drunk at it [the funeral],” Kennedy said. “And things about they almost dropped the coffin. I just can’t see a picture of Martin Luther King without thinking, you know, that man’s terrible,” Kennedy said in a newly-released book featuring transcripts of the Kennedy tapes.
According to ABC, which has obtained the audio tapes and is hosting a two-hour Jackie Kennedy special, the former first lady said King had arranged for an “orgy in the hotel” while in town for the March on Washington in August 1963.
Kennedy said that her husband, President John F. Kennedy, had urged her not to be judgmental about it.
“If you asked her what she thought of Martin Luther King overall… she admired him tremendously,” Caroline Kennedy told ABC’s Diane Sawyer.
“Obviously, J. Edgar Hoover had passed on something that Martin Luther King said about my father’s funeral, to Uncle Bobby and to Mommy. And obviously, she was upset about that,” Caroline Kennedy added. “It shows you the poisonous … activities of J. Edgar Hoover.”
Jacqueline Kennedy became friendly with King and his family and attended the civil rights leader’s funeral in 1968.

In the tapes, Jacqueline Kennedy also says that the president was anxious to dump FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover.
In the interviews, the former first lady said her husband openly ridiculed the notion of Vice President Lyndon Baines Johnson succeeding him as president.

“Jack said it to me sometimes. He said, `Oh, God, can you ever imagine what would happen to the country if Lyndon were president?’” she said, according to the AP. “And Bobby told me that he’d had some discussions with him …do something to name someone else in 1968.”
Johnson became president after JFK’s assassination and was elected to a full term in 1964. He decided not to seek re-election in 1968.
The Daily Mail reported last month that she believed that Vice President Johnson was behind her husband’s assassination. ABC contended then that the Daily Mail’s report was inaccurate.

OMG!!! How SICK! A 101-year-old Detroit woman evicted and her belongings thrown in the dumpster

101-year-old Texana Hollis can't stop crying because she's been evicted from the Southwest Detroit house she has called home for 58 years.

All her belongings were put in three dumpsters on the street because her 65-year-old son who also lives with her failed to pay taxes for several years.
Warren Hollis says he feels like kicking himself. He says he did get several eviction notices, but never told his mom.

Hollis says she only found out about the back taxes last night. 

A neighbor is letting Texana and Warren stay in a rental house she owns across the street. A few hours after we talked to Texana, EMS came and took her to the hospital. The whole ordeal of the eviction and the lack of medications at the right time made her a little disoriented. EMS workers said she was ok, but needed to be checked out. In the meantime, a local businessman came by and said he will check on the back taxes and pay them if he can so Hollis can move back to her home.

UPDATE!!!

There's been a positive development in the story of Texana Hollis, the 101-year-old woman evicted from her home . She will now get her southwest Detroit home back after a heartbreaking ordeal.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, also known as HUD asked a 36th District Court Officer to go to the home and remove the locks that were put on the house on Monday. Texana will now be able to return to her house on Carbondale.
The 101-year-old is, however, currently in the hospital. She was rushed by ambulance to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit on Monday night. She was suffering from severe anxiety after being evicted from the home she had lived in for 58 years.
Earlier on Wednesday, Call for Action reporter Bill Spencer began digging for information in this case. He talked with Detroit City Councilwoman JoAnne Watson, who promised she would do whatever she could to help Texana.
Watson visited Texana in the hospital, knelt by her bed and prayed with her. Watson then went to talk directly to the Detroit Director of HUD, the agency that took posession of the home.
Action News also found out the background on what really happened and why Texana and her son Warren Hollis were evicted from their home.
At first, it was thought that Texana’s son had signed a reverse mortgage on the house or that maybe it was a back-taxes issue.
It turns out that Warren took out a second mortgage on the home in return for $32,000. He claims the money was spent on repairs for the house. He also admits to buying a car with the money and donating some of the money to his church.
He says the remaining $5,000 was used to pay a number of other expenses. Warren Hollis defaulted on the second mortgage and never told his mother what was going on or that he was receiving eviction notices and warnings. The news broke her heart and she had no time to prepare for being evicted.
The house no longer belonged to Texana Hollis or her son Warren - who had been living with her. It belonged to HUD. The agency had asked for a court order to have the occupants removed from the home.
One of the judges from the 36th District Court granted that order several weeks ago and the order was carried out on Monday.
Marilyn Atkins, Chief Judge of the 36th District Court, told Action News that the court officer who evicted Texana talked to her son repeatedly for a solid week telling them they had to find a place to go. They were reportedly told that they were going to be evicted in a matter of days.
The Chief Judge says that her court did everything legally possible to alert Texana and her son that they were coming to padlock the house and say they followed the law to the letter.

Texana Hollis was completely broken-hearted and couldn’t stop crying when we talked to her on Monday night.
Neighbors say court officers carried her out of her home and left her sitting in her wheelchair on the sidewalk, alongside all of her furniture and belongings.Neighbors eventually put Texana into a vacant rental home on the same block and she sat there all day.
A close friend and neighbor couldn’t believe what was happening. “We don’t even treat animals like that in the city of Detroit,” said Laurie Ridgell.
The saddest part of the whole situation was that Texana and her late husband Ira Sr., owned this home outright. It was bought and paid for.
Meantime, several organizations offered to help Texana and we’ve received calls from all over the country on this story.

Tha God's dad was spotted watching the Jets take on The Dallas Cowboys when things suddenly got out of hand and he pulled out a weapon--a taser.

He was later arrested and released on 22,000$ bond, but not before his son could share his story on Twitter.

Say What?: 4-Year-Old Wins Contest Wearing Fake Breast and Butt Pads on Toddlers and Tiaras

On the controversial reality show “Toddlers and Tiaras,” 4-year-old contestant Maddy Jackson, channeled Dolly Parton to win a beauty competition wearing bust and butt enhancement pads. The enhancements gave the toddler an hourglass figure.
To make matters worse, Lindsay, the mother of the young beauty contestant, defended her daughter’s enhancements saying, “To some people, it’s over the top, to us it’s just what happens… It’s just normal. When she wears the fake boobs and the fake butt, it’s just like extra bonus.”
And get this: Maddy’s mom passed the butt and breast pads along to her from when she wore them as a toddler during her pageant days.

Are the mothers of these young girls, like Maddy’s mom Lindsay, trying to relive their youth vicariously through their daughters?

While many of us have mimicked our moms by wearing their clothes and high-heeled shoes around the house, Maddy’s ‘Dolly’ beauty look is a grown-up aesthetic that doesn’t belong on a toddler—for play or for show.
Quite frankly, there is something terribly wrong with a young girl trying to imitate the post-pubescent look of a grown woman in my opinion.
How young is too young for a girl to wear fake breast and butt pads? Should these kind of antics be frowned upon?

UMMM Alicia time to get some your Medicine:Is Swizz Beatz already creeping out on Alicia with some 23-year-old girl? Well this is shocking. NOT (as Goop would say). Bossip is reporting that Swizz Beatz has been messaging (“sexting”) another woman. Bossip doesn’t have many details, like who this other woman is, but the site does have a photo of the Blackberry screen, which includes a message allegedly from Swizz writing that he wants to “f–k the sh-t out of you asap make it happen wow!” Also, they’re sending each other photos and trying to coordinate their schedules so this girl can fly out to meet him, I guess.
Meanwhile, Tale Tela seems to have more details about the alleged cheating, and the girl. According to their sources, the girl’s name is Christina Elizabeth, and she’s 23 years old. Also, Christina and Swizz met in 2007, back when she was… 19?!? And the source says that Swizz and Christina have been in contact with each other all of that time. Apparently, Christina lost her Blackberry, and someone found it and figured out that she’s been sexting Swizz for years. Or more.

Now, who would have predicted this turn of events, if this story is true? Oh, right. EVERYONE. Swizz has four baby-mamas that we know of - and he was fooling around on his now ex-wife Mashonda with both Alicia and his British bird Jahna Sebastian, who still isn’t getting any child support from him. The man just has issues.

Down in Atlanta, Chanita Foster And Jason Terry Put On ‘Concert For A Cause’

Chanita Foster of Football Wives and Jason Terry of the Dallas Mavericks presented the first annual “Concert For A Cause,” which brought together fans, celebrities and athletes to raise money for Beyond The Game Foundation. The money will go towards a care mission to Swaziland to help families affected by HIV/AIDS.

Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos is facing the ax because he's too short for the show, sources claim in a shocking report.
Sources tell TMZ that Josh Elliot, a former sports anchor at ESPN, impressed execs last week when he filled in on World News Tonight.
Mr Elliot, 40, who won an Emmy Award-winner with ESPN, joined GMA in May after seven years with the all-sports network.
Rumours are swirling that ABC could do an anchor swap for Mr Elliot, who at 6'3", towers over the diminutive Mr Stephanopoulos (5'6" and a half).

Despite the The show’s possible need for a change, GMA's ratings are up, but still second to NBC's Today show.

Paul Wall and Baby Bash Arrested

Rappers Paul Wall and Baby Bash got arrested for drug possession and broadcast the play by play on Twitter!
Nothin' like getting arrested—and then bragging about it on Twitter!
Rappers Paul Wall and Baby Bash (real names Paul Michael Slayton and Ronald Ray Bryant) found themselves in hot water on last Saturday night when they were arrested for marijuana possession in a—wait for it!—drug-free zone in El Paso, TX.

El Paso County Jail Records show the two were arrested at 1:30 a.m. and were released around 1:30 p.m. after posting $300 bail. They were charged with possession of marijuana in a quantity of less than 2 oz.
So what did Mr. Wall have to say about the arrest on Twitter?

It looks like the rappers received a music history lesson during their jail stay as Paul tweeted, "Fresh out the El Paso County jail wit @BabyBash @BIGGROY in the same tank they held Willie Nelson/Johnny Cash."
He also posted pictures of the two of them in handcuffs in the back of the police car. Maybe they can use one of the pictures for a future album cover?

Thankfully, Paul found something good in all of this: "The good news is the Texans won," he tweeted.
However, Baby Bash didn't seem as thrilled with the arrest as his buddy. "Ain't 2much worse than a " HOE ASS PUNK EL PASO COP that abuses his authority, just cuz me and Paul wall are artists!"
he tweeted. "Only GEEKS and fools who don't have any spine abuses AUthority! But I'm back in the FLESH feelin so FRESH, out the tank mang!"

In case you didn't understand that, Baby Bash then posted another message clarifying his previous tweet. "I'm not here to diss ALL police, they have a tuff gig and I respect that! BUT u have the ONE or TWO that will disrespect & abuse the power cuz maybe they got picked on in high school alot and now have a chip on they're shoulder, and that's exactly wut happened to Us, all we did was SMELL like weed and wen he couldn't find it and we didn't snitch on who sparked it he got overdramatic and took us in! He found out who we were and really got big shot on us! Haha even his partner said he's a dick."

Jennifer Aniston rushed to be by her mother's hospital bedside after the 75-year-old suffered a stroke over the weekend, the MailOnline can reveal.
Nancy Dow, a former model, is understood to have been in a serious condition at a Los Angeles medical centre.

Aniston's boyfriend Justin Theroux accompanied the former Friends star to the hospital, but a source says he waited outside.

There were grave fears for her elderly mother, who is thought to be unable to speak.
A neighbour at Nancy's modest North Hollywood apartment block told Mail Online: 'She's in the hospital. She's fabulous, a very nice lady. She's also very private.
The neighbour was not aware of any prior health problems.
Jennifer and her mother were estranged for more than a decade after Nancy gave a television interview about their relationship in 1996.
Jennifer called her afterwards in a rage and allegedly told her: 'I'll never forgive you. Never.'
Her mother later wrote a revealing book, From Mother And Daughter To Friends: A Memoir, about their problems, absolving herself from blame.
In 2001, Jennifer said: 'This is my last chunk of disease in my life - my mom.'
She did not invite Nancy to her 2000 wedding to Brad Pitt, which she described as a 'tortuous decision'.
