Sunday, numerous reports claimed Rap Queen Nicki Minaj was to welcome Foxy Brown and ‘212‘ sweetheart Azealia Banks to the stage during her set at Summer Jam 2012, the event in which she is headlining.
This, for any aware of the star’s feud with Rap veteran Lil Kim, was seen a subtle dig at the MC as Foxy and Banks are-like Minaj herself- engaged in their own respective spats with her.

So in response to the reports, Kim took to Twitter to air out her feelings.

Jennifer Hudson New Movie “Lullaby” Spotted Leaving LAX Airport

After having to deal with a intense court proceedings and the conviction of William Balfour, the man responsible for the murder of her mother, brother and nephew in 2008, Jennifer Hudson is now focused on getting back to work.
The Oscar award winning actress, has been cast to star in the new film “Lullaby”, a dramatic comedy directed by Andrew Levitas.

Lullaby tells the sentimental story of a son and his estranged father who makes the decision to take himself off life support within 48-hours, and explores the power of life, and reconnects with loved ones.

The cast also Terrence Howard, who Hudson has previously worked with in the film Winnie.

President Obama Writes Note To Get 5th Grader Out Of School

President Obama did a huge favor for a 5th grader, by penning a note to excuse him from school for the day. The student, Tyler Sullivan, skipped school Friday (June 1) to hear the POTUS speak at a Honeywell plant in Minnesota, alongside his father.

Sullivan got a front-row seat to hear the president's speech, and before leaving he was given the note, "Mr. Ackerman--Please excuse Tyler...he was with me!"
Obama traveled to the Midwest to discuss the state of the economy, following a disappointing job report, released last week. 

As his re-election campaign picks up steam, the commander in chief is still fending off criticism for his support of gay marriage. Most recently, former President Bill Clinton said in an interview that Obama publicly endorsing same-sex unions may discourage support from black voters.

We won't know the outcome of the election until November, but analyst predict that given his extraordinary ability to raise campaign funds, this year's presidential race will be the most expensive in political history.

The home of former Tennessee Titans running back Eddie George and his wife, Tamara, will be auctioned June 7 on the steps of the Williamson County Courthouse following a default on the mortgage.
The property is an 8,550-square-foot home in the gated Brentwood community of Hampton Reserve, just off Concord Road near Edmondson Pike.
Just a few months ago, the home was listed for sale by the couple for $1.1 million.
The house features an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings, four bathrooms, three half-baths and five bedrooms. There is also an elevator that runs from the basement to the attic, a workout room, a swimming pool and a hot tub.

SO Miss Jenny LO Breaks Down at Concert…Publicity Stunt or??????

We haven't heard much from Jennifer Lopez regarding her July split from husband Marc Anthony, but the singer did open up a bit while performing over the weekend.
Lopez took the stage at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Saturday night, and though she wowed the crowd as usual, she let her emotions go for a moment while on stage.

"I'm going to sing you the last song I wrote about love," she told the crowd. "A lot has changed since then."

Lopez then broke out into her song "Until It Beats No More" while J.Lo lookalike dancers performed an homage to her past relationships, complete with Diddy, Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony lookalikes. 

"A little trip down memory lane," she said after the song ended, tearing up on the stage as the crowd gave her a standing ovation.

But it wasn't all tears at Lopez's concert, which was in celebration of Mohegan Sun's 15th anniversary. "Glee" star Lea Michele caught the show and tweeted her excitement Saturday night.

Fox Might Bring Back Soul Food TV Series

Not sure how to feel about this one but word is Twentieth Century Fox might bring back the TV series Soul Food. Fox is said to be considering revamping the series for a new generation, reports FishbowlLA.

The project is still in the very early stages of development, but executives at the company are said to be keen on it. It isn’t yet clear whether the new Soul Food would be for the Fox broadcast network, or whether the company would try and sell it to other channels.

While many networks have been reluctant to order series that target African American audiences in recent years, there is ample evidence that the demographic is being under-served. After being canceled by The CW in 2009, drama series The Game moved to BET, where it garnered nearly eight million viewers in its premiere in January, 2011. BET would seem to be a natural fit for the series, as it acquired the off-network rights to Soul Food in 2004, though it has since shifted the reruns to Centric. It also has a solid African American drama to pair it with in The Game.

Whether any of the original cast from the movie or Showtime series will be involved in the new project remains to be seen.

I’m on the fence with this but I guess if they bring back the original cast with good writers I would watch.

Gabriel Aubry Loses Court Bid To Have Unsupervised Visits With Nahla

The attorneys for Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry were back in court Monday as they continue to battle over their daughter Nahla. Gabriel was seeking to have the custody agreement altered. He specifically wanted to get rid of the part that says the bulk of his visits with his daughter must be supervised. The nanny is required to be there at all times especially during overnight stays. He wanted that to end but Halle objected.

The judge denied his request and ruled the agreement must stay the same.
A source close to the situations aysthat Gabriel is furious over not being allowed to care for his daughter on his own and that he feels the nanny is encroaching on his relationship with Nahla, and supervising their every move.

The question becomes what (if anything) did he do that prohibits him from being alone with his child?
Gabriel is currently ins Spain so he can look after Nahla while Halle films a movie. As per the custody agreement, she must arrange accommodation for Gabriel while he is there and it must be of the same standard as she is receiving.

Keyshia Cole and her 80’s style Birthday Party!

Keyshia Cole is a child of the 80s, so to celebrate her 30th birthday, she took it all the way back to where it all began. Wearing a stylish party dress that paid homage to THE 80s material girl, Madonna, Keyshia came ready to dance the night away. And Daniel wore a classic Adidas track suit and kangol.

Keyshia reflected on her life saying, "I got signed in my 20's so I was blessed. It was a time I learned, I lived and experienced so many great things. It prepared for me my 30's."

The always sassy singer added, "I'm a wife, a mother now and I'm ready for greatness. Ready to go in. The 20's were GREAT but the 30's are gonna be GREATER!"

E news Host Giuliana Rancic reveals breast cancer diagnosis at 37

Giuliana Rancic had an announcement to make during an appearance on The Today Show — but it wasn’t the one she or anyone wanted or expected.
Instead of a happy pregnancy announcement, Rancic, 37, told Ann Curry: “I have early stage breast cancer.” The E! News host and Giuliana and Bill star made the frightening discovery back in August, as she was preparing for her third attempt to get pregnant through in vitro fertilization.

Rancic explained that her doctor sternly insisted that she get a mammogram before going through with the third IVF treatment. (The pregnancy hormones could “accelerate the cancer,” Rancic recalled her doctor as saying.)

The star, who said she has no family history of breast cancer, “wasn’t prepared to get a mammogram until i was 40 years old,” she admitted. “I never in my wildest dreams expected anything to be wrong.”
When the hospital called a few days later to tell her the shocking news, Rancic admits she was immediately “sobbing…It was like the world just crashed around me.”
But a visibly emotional Rancic assured fans, “I will be okay, because I found it early. I’m doing surgery this coming week, and then I go to radiation for six and a half weeks.”

At her side throughout the ordeal is husband Bill Rancic, 40. “Bill is unbelievable,” Rancic gushed. “He lets me cry when I want to cry. He just lets me feel what I want to feel.”

And the spouses of four years are determined to continue in their attempts to conceive once Giuliana’s medical isseus are resolved. “I’m not gonna give up,” she said. When she does get pregnant, “That baby will have saved my life,” she mused. “There’s some master plan. Now I know that [God] was looking out for me.”
She urged all women to get tested for breast cancer. “I think a lot of us think we’re invincible,” she said. “We have to start putting ourselves on the to do list.”

That’s pretty shocking. Giuliana explained on The Today Show she was initially against getting a mammogram and tried to argue against it to her doctor. She does have an aunt who is a breast cancer survivor, but explained that she went through prior testing for the breast cancer gene and she’s not a carrier. For as much as I don’t like Giuliana, she’s doing a incredibly good thing here by reminding us to get checked. All the pink ribbons and very helpful reminders I’ve been seeing these past month were not as convincing to me as hearing Giuliana tell her story.

Viola Davis adopts baby girl named Genesis

It is usually the duty of the parents to announce a new arrival to the family.

However Octavia Spencer decided to reveal the news that her co-star Viola Davis had adopted a baby girl at the ELLE Women in Hollywood event.

The Help star,46, who is married to actor Julius Tennon, later confirmed the news that they have recently welcomed their first child together into the family.

Spencer revealed the news while she was honouring her co-star at the event in L.A. on Monday and said Viola had became a mother ‘like, two days ago’.
Davis, who confirmed the news but offered little other details, spoke about her determination and work ethic and appealed to casting directors on behalf of ethnic minorities.

The Oscar nominee said it isn't love that drives her to keep working in Hollywood.
She said: ‘What keeps me in the business is hope, and that's the hope that women of color are also part of the narrative.’
‘(I'm) sending a telepathic message to you: Every time some young actress of color comes in a room with a character they're auditioning for that's not ethnically specific, that you have a space in your brain that can open up and embrace them and allow them in, because I'm telling you, their lives are just as fascinating and multifaceted.’

Davis and her husband already have two children from Tennon's previous relationship.

Songwriter Denise Rich and her son-in-law, Philip Aouad, founded the organization in 1996 in memory of her daughter, Gabrielle Rich Aouad, who died at age 27 from AML Leukemia.

Sean Penn: Tea Party is ‘Get the N*gger… Out the WH Party’ …And I agree with him

*Sean Penn is not mincing words about his view of the Tea Party, accusing the ultra-conservative moment of being motivated primarily by a racist agenda.

During his appearance on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight,” the actor said he believes the Tea Party exists only to get President Obama out of the White House and that its members don’t know much about the issues themselves.

“You have what I call the ‘Get the N-word out of the White House party,’ the Tea Party; this kind of sensibility, which is much more of a distraction,” he said.

“I don’t think there’s any doubt about it: If you ask any representative of the Tea Party, ‘OK, Social Security, socialist, get rid of it?” they’re going to get very confused. At the end of the day, there’s a big bubble coming out of their heads, saying, ‘Can we just lynch him?”

Penn’s remarks echo similar comments made by Morgan Freeman last month, also on “Piers Morgan Tonight.”

The “Dolphin Tale” star then said that the Tea Party’s “stated policy, publicly stated, is to do whatever it takes to see to it that Obama only serves one term. What … underlines that?
Screw the country. We’re going to do whatever we do to get this black man … outta here.”

T.I. Responds To Critics Questioning His Two Consecutive Prison Sentences

Tip offers a defiant explanation to those whom he says don't understand his circumstances nor where he came from.

With just under a month out of prison, T.I. has already managed to make a loud and clear comeback. He made his first public appearance at the B.E.T. Hip Hop Awards and started a media blitz this week, appearing on The View and Howard Stern's radio show.

In an interview with Funkmaster Flex on T.I. addressed those who've criticized him for his recent stint in jail, saying he'd grown up in a tough environment with a different lifestyle than others.

"I've been rippin' and runnin' and doing what I've been doing since I was 12, 13, 14 years-old okay?" he said. "I'd say I [first] got in trouble when I was 27 years-old. That's thirteen years when I was doing what I was doing. So since I was 27--I'm 31 now--that's four years. So you mean to tell me that I can develop all these habits over the course of thirteen years, and you want me to kick [those habits] before four years? All of them? Ya'll gon' have to work with me."

He continued, "You might say, 'I don't see why he did that again'…It might not have took that long for you because you did not begin in the place where I began. Your circumstances were not my circumstances...People who know my circumstances and where I came from, they are applauding me. Standing ovations."

Tip questioned the values of those who have been criticizing him and wondered what people look for in the character of another individual.

"In a day and age where a man is judged more on the mistakes that he makes, more so than the character of that man and the pure intent within his heart--so you mean to tell me that if I made no mistakes and kept a clean face but I was just a dirty, grimy slimeball--you mean to tell me you'd rather have that T.I? Or would you rather have the guy that struggles within himself because he still cares about people?"

Jamie: Are you going to be able to find somebody, you think?

Meagan: I’m not in a rush.

Jamie: No, I’m saying have you been seeing anyone?

Meagan: I met someone special, but you know what? I’m so in love with God right now. I’m focused on being married to God.

Jamie: Okay now, you’re like the third or fourth girl to tell me that. “I am God’s girlfriend.” So I said you can’t cheat on Him. (laughs) I told my girlfriend—

Meagan: I’m not! I’m celibate!

Jamie: Oh okay. You can’t be God’s girlfriend and when you meet a guy you say, “Okay, God, step aside.” (laughs)

Meagan: No, the next guy I meet is my husband, and I already talked to God about that. I was like, “Check this out, Lord, I know what you want for me.” And He really wants a man that has completely sold out for Christ for me, who can help me improve and be better than I am. So I know exactly what He wants for me and I don’t know if I have already found it. It’s quite possible that I may have, but I am so not in a rush for anything. I am in a rush to focus on Him right now.

Jamie: When you say focus on Him, you read the Bible a lot?

Meagan: Every single day for the past three-and-a-half years; every day without fail.

Kelly Rowland is being blamed for causing trouble on the show, with The Sun claiming she's been "bossing about" fellow panelist Tulisa Contostavlos and telling Louis Walsh's acts to scrap his ideas.

The insider revealed: "Kelly is trying to turn this into The Kelly Show with her meddling — and it's really putting people's noses out of joint. The contestants love it as they're in awe of her but the judges hate it."

"Tulisa has properly fallen out with her after Kelly went to speak to her about the styling and songs and vocals for Rhythmix."

He's a little hazy about that time, but Eminem revealed how years ago before entering rehab, he took somewhere between sixty and ninety pills a day, including Valium, Vicodin, Ambien, and Seroquel (used to treat schizophrenia). His interiew goes ino crazy detail and how he overcame it:

“I’m very much a creature of habit. If I’m used to waking up in the morning and having [a Red Bull], 
I could do it every morning for the next ten years straight until I find something else to move on to. So if 
I’m used to taking a Vicodin when I wake up in the morning because I’m hungover from -drinking or taking pills…The bigger the crowd, the bigger my habit got.”

"Look, every addict in rehab feels like everyone's staring at them. With me? Everyone was staring at me. I could never be comfortable. There were people there that treated me normal. Then there were a bunch of fucking idiots who aren't even concentrating on their own sobriety because they're so worried about mine. They're stealing my hats, my books—it was chaos. Everything was drama in there. And at the time, I didn't really want to get clean. Everybody else wanted me to. And anyone will tell you: If you're not ready, nothing is going to change you. Love, nothing."

"I came to in the hospital and I didn't know what the fuck happened," he says. "Tubes in me and shit, fuckin' needles in my arms. I didn't realize I had [overdosed]. I wanted my drugs—get me the fuck outta there! I think I was clean for two weeks. I was trying so hard—I was trying to do it for my kids—but I just wasn't ready."

Lloyd Address Irv Gotti’s Negative Remarks

Irv Gotti recently did an interview where he openly discussed the bad blood between him and his former recording artist Lloyd. His remarks have not gone unnoticed as Lloyd finally responds to Gotti’s allegations of Lloyd not being respectful once he was released from Murder Inc. Check inside for Lloyds full response.
After Irv Gotti made it clear that he was no fan of Lloyds anymore, Llyod response is that on his side there is no love lost for his former boss. This is what Gotti had to say first:

“Lloyd, I have no love for. Because here’s a person that I helped out. The minute he left, I let you go. You wanted to leave, I let you go. And you gon’ say, ‘Well Gotti did this and Gotti did that.’ N***a, you went platinum with Gotti. You went gold with Gotti. What you doing now with Interscope? What’d you sell, like 15 units?,” Gotti said. “I’m not saying to pay homage to me. But don’t s*** on me. I let you go! You wanted to be your own man or whatever, get outta here.”
Lloyd stopped to talk to Sway Calloway on Shade 45 radio and from his conversation you could tell the remarks have not bothered him. He discussed that Irv was indeed responsible for getting his music played but not for his creative process in making his music.

“When I met Irv, I brought him all my music and everything I’ve ever released has all come from me, he said. “Irv never produced, he never wrote anything. The only thing he did was release it for me, which was great, and I’m very thankful for it.”

Lloyd latest LP King Of Hearts is doing very well and was the first album released on his new label with Interscope Records.

Bobby Brown Back With New Edition And Planning A Reality TV Show

Who would’ve known that a New Edition inspired video from Queen Bey would have started all this? Just kidding. On a serious note, Bobby Brown spoke with Hustler magazine and it seems like things are on the up and up for New Edition starting with a reunion.

Bobby told Hustler magazine,

We have a conference call every Sunday. We’re putting it (band) back together. I think the thing that was missing with us was prayer – us being able to pray together and understand our differences. I think that’s what made us fight so much. Our friendship was lost once the business of being in the band exploded. We’re now working at becoming friends again and getting back together next year for a tour and an album. And maybe a television show.

Now that the group is repairing their friendship, a number of other projects are on the way including a reality tv show that will document the making of their upcoming album. Would you watch a reality show featuring New Edition?

Amber Rose Debuts New Hair At Surprise Birthday Bash

They may not be married yet but the love is still there. Wiz Khalifa gave Amber Rose a surprise birthday party for her 29th. From the few pics that we got, it looks like the hottie is debuting a new hair do or at least letting it grow out a bit. In the front, Amber spiked her hair just a tad and kept her signature blonde bald look everywhere else..

It looks like Amber was really happy about the party too as she clung to Wiz and watched what looked like fireworks explode from her cake.
