The project arrives via the SRG/ILS Group in partnership with Make Noise Recordings. The BET Networks film “Holiday Hideaway” is also currently airing on all BET properties.
You can check out the visualizer for the lead single below. Vivian adds:
“While I didn’t grow up celebrating Christmas, I’ve always loved the euphoric melodies and freedoms in the song structure of holiday music. I am a songwriter and that means I essentially should be able to write about anything. When writing “Spread the Love” I was intentional about including the three cultural holidays of the season because it hasn’t been done enough. There’s something beautiful about acknowledging different cultures in one space. I truly enjoyed assisting in helping to energize someone else’s story in the film “Holiday Hideaway”, and as bonus, I’m excited to release this EP.”

David Harbour Opens Up On 'Crazy' Experience Of Auditioning For Madonna's Movie
David Harbour claims he was invited to audition for Madonna's 2011 movie "W.E." because she thought he was "sexy." The 47-year-old "Stranger Things" actor recently shared the "crazy" process he went through after being asked to try out for a part in the singer-turned-director's 2011 royal drama "W.E." - which told the story of King Edward VIII's love affair with American divorcee Wallis Simpson.
"It was a crazy thing. It was a real cloak-and-dagger type of experience," David said during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!".
David was not told anything about the movie before the audition as the casting director informed him the project was "top secret" and he was convinced he was being courted by a powerhouse moviemaker like Ridley Scott or Martin Scorsese.
He went on, "I got a call from a casting director that I knew very well saying they're putting together a top-secret movie read through, but you just have to show up at the St. Regis [hotel] and go in this room, and all will be revealed. And I was like, 'This is really weird and creepy' ... And so all weekend, I was literally thinking about Ridley Scott and Martin Scorsese."
The only thing the actor was told was that the director had watched his sex scene in 2008 film "Revolutionary Road" and thought he was "sexy." David then added, "I show up at the St. Regis, and I get in the room, and there's a bunch of other New York actors there, and in walks Madonna, who's directing this movie. The first thing that flooded over me, I was like, 'Wow, Madonna thinks I'm sexy.' "
He explained he was overwhelmed by the experience because he'd had a crush on the pop superstar since the 1980s and, even though he didn't get the part, he did land an invitation to Madonna's birthday party.
David said of the experience, "[It was] one of the coolest things I've ever done ... She came in, and she was in like this gorgeous, emerald dress. And then the party started, and she put on sweatpants, and they just cranked Madonna music. I danced with Madonna to Madonna music. On my headstone, that is it!"

Man who shot Lady Gaga’s dog walker sentenced to 21 years in prison
The man who shot Lady Gaga’s dog walker and stole her French bulldogs last year has been sentenced to over two decades behind bars.
James Howard Jackson accepted a plea deal on Monday, per the Associated Press, and will spend the next 21 years in prison in Los Angeles County.
According to the LA County District Attorney’s Office, Jackson pleaded no contest to one count of attempted murder but admitted the allegation of inflicting great bodily injury and to a prior strike. He had been charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit a robbery and assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
“The plea agreement holds Mr. Jackson accountable for perpetrating a coldhearted violent act and provides justice for our victim,” the DA’s office said in a statement.
Lady Gaga’s dog walker shooter, James Howard Jackson, has been sentenced to 21 years in prison.
Jackson was one of five people — three men and two accomplices — who participated in the violent robbery and its aftermath.
Authorities say the perpetrators did not specifically target Lady Gaga, as they did not know the dogs belonged to the musician. They believe the group’s motive was the value of the French bulldogs, a breed that can cost thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars.
Authorities say Jackson did not specifically target Gaga, as he did not know the dogs belonged to the musician.
Jackson and others drove around several Los Angeles neighborhoods on Feb. 24, 2021, in search of French bulldogs, prosecutors previously said.
When they encountered Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer, with her three pets on Sunset Boulevard, a violent struggle ensued in which Jackson hit, choked and shot Fischer in an attack recorded by the doorbell camera of a nearby home.
The pooches, Koji and Gustav, were returned several days later by Jennifer McBride, who was also charged in the crime.
Fischer lost part of a lung in what he described as a "very close call with death."

Another accomplice, Harold White, also pleaded no contest Monday. He will be sentenced next year.
Earlier this year, Jaylin White, Harold’s son, pleaded no contest to second-degree robbery and was sentenced to four years in state prison.

Cedric The Entertainer Believes ‘Alpha Males’ Steve Harvey And Bernie Mac’s Feud Contributed To There Never Being An ‘Original Kings Of Comedy’ Sequel
Cedric The Entertainer is opening up on what he believes are some of the reasons why a follow-up to 2000’s “The Original Kings of Comedy” never came to light. The Spike Lee-directed stand-up special starring Cedric, as well as D.L. Hughley, Bernie Mac, and Stevie Harvey became a huge success at the box office, before going on to spawn multiple spin-offs but, surprisingly enough, never a sequel.
During a recent sit-down on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, “Club Shay Shay,” Cedric was asked about the controversy that the movie was plagued by, with long-standing claims that Bernie and Steve didn’t get along with each other during filming. The tension between them is now said to be what ultimately contributed to the four-piece never getting back together for a second run.
“I mean, you know, they were the kind of guys that… they both Alpha males. You know, like, they both, they just saw it different–you know what I’m saying? But, at the end of the day, they was able to get through it,” he said. While Cedric thinks that Steve and Bernies’ issues may have perhaps added to a sequel never materializing, he also thinks “that it had a lot to do with the promoter on the thing because he got a bigger head than all of us.”
In his own words, the promoter who put the comedy tour together started to think the entire production “was about him,” alluding that the money side of things was not aligned when seeing just how much certain people had earned from the stand-up.
“The dude that put us all together started to really think it was about him. So, it started to be that. So, it was a lot of those kinds of elements.”
Steve and Bernie’s feud is believed to have started back in 2003 when the latter did an interview for GQ Magazine, where he asserted that the 65-year-old had become jealous of his fellow comedian’s rise to fame. He further claimed how Steve had allegedly tried to stop his bag by preventing certain movie deals from reaching him after his breakthrough success in comedy.
It would be seven years before Steve would address the topic — particularly Bernie’s statement in the GQ interview — insisting that the things said about him trying to prevent anyone from a movie deal was false. “I was upset at first because it just wasn’t true,” Steve said during on BET’s “Conversations with Ed Gordon” in 2010. “Me and Bernie had a lot of good times together and then this article in GQ came out and put all this vicious stuff in there. B said he never said it. I had to take him at his word for it.”
A$AP Rocky Says ‘It’s Lit’ as He Opens Up About ‘Newfound Love’ of Being a Dad
Rapper A$AP Rocky is “all smiles right now” as he embarks on the latest journey in his life: fatherhood. The Harlem native welcomed his first child with his girlfriend and Grammy Award-winning singer Rihanna last May.
During a recent conversation with Complex, the 34-year-old opened up about being a father amid his return to music, telling the outlet, “It’s beautiful.” He added, “Honestly, I think fatherhood gives me more time to do exactly what I want. I don’t have time for anything that isn’t priorities. It helps you prioritize, honestly. I love it. Everything is just based around my newfound love for being a dad and a family man.”
The “Sh–in’ Me” emcee continued, “It’s lit right now. I can’t even describe it. Yo, you see this smile! I’m all smiles right now, man.” Little is known about the couple’s son, but the rapper assured fans that “it’s coming soon.”
Rocky and Rihanna shut down the internet earlier this year with their winter-inspired photo shoot in Rocky’s hometown. The “Umbrella” singer sported a cute long pink jacket, but she left the outerwear unbuttoned at the bottom, revealing her glowing bump showered with a gold cross with an assortment of colorful jewels.
In a March interview with Elle magazine, the Barbadian billionaire gushed about the type of mother she saw herself as, pointing to Bravo stars and moms Heather Dubrow and Teresa Giudice from the network’s “Real Housewives” franchise.
The 34-year-old shared that she likes Dubrow because she is so “chic” and allowed her children to “be who they are.” The entertainment mogul also cited Giudice from the New Jersey-based series noting she “does not play about her kids. She will flatten you about those kids. And that resonates with me a lot because I feel like that’s the type of mom I’m going to be. Psycho about it.”
The Fenty Beauty creator actually admitted that she might even be more extreme than the reality show influencer, teasingly telling the outlet, “You talk about my kids, it’s over.”
Netflix CEO Stands with Dave Chappelle, Says Platform Would Order More Specials ‘Again and Again’ Following Outrage
If Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings has his way, Dave Chappelle will remain a staple on Netflix with many more specials in the future.
Chappelle’s 2021 Netflix special “The Closer” generated a huge backlash against the streaming giant after the controversial comedian made remarks about transgender people. While the project garnered Chappelle two Primetime Emmy nominations, it sparked threats of boycotts from employees as many demanded the actor be held accountable. However, Hastings says they’re prepared to order more Chappelle specials “again and again.”
Hasting recently made the admission at The New York Times’ DealBook Summit on Wednesday, telling reporters, “We’re just trying to be the most exciting entertainment company and more,” when it comes to how they’ve handled controversy in recent years, before adding, “That special was one of the most entertaining watch specials we’ve ever had. We would do it again and again.”
“The Closer” served as the final special per Chappelle’s agreement with the streaming giant. Hastings described the comedian as “very entertaining and provocative,” noting that he aligns with Netflix’s overall goal of being “about entertainment.” Co-CEO Ted Saranados made a similar statement following the show’s October 2021 release after many called for it to be removed from streaming services.
However, Saranados later sent out an email stating that not only would they not remove the show, but he also doubled down on his defense of Chappelle while acknowledging that many didn’t agree with his views on the comedian. “We know that a number of you have been left angry, disappointed, and hurt by our decision to put Dave Chappelle’s latest special on Netflix,” he wrote at the time.
“Also, we have many new colleagues who want to better understand the principles that guide our team’s content choices, especially with challenging titles like this. Our goal is to entertain the world, which means programming for a diversity of tastes. This member-centric view has driven our growth over the last 20 years, despite all the competition, and remains Netflix’s north star today,” he added.
Though he later admitted fault for his initial response to employees, the co-CEO has maintained his support of the star, “Rarely do you get the opportunity to put your principles to the test,” the exec said earlier this year.
He added, “It was an opportunity to take somebody, like in Dave’s case, who is, by all measure, the comedian of our generation, the most popular comedian on Netflix for sure. Nobody would say that what he does isn’t thoughtful or smart. You just don’t agree with him.”
Michael Avenatti Receives 14-Year Prison Sentence After Stealing Millions From Clients
The hits just keep coming for disbarred attorney Michael Avenatti.
The Associated Press reports Avenatti was sentenced to 14 years in prison for wire fraud and endeavoring to obstruct the administration of the Interal Revenue Service on Monday. He has been ordered to pay nearly $11 million in restitution to his former clients, as well as the IRS.
As part of his guilty plea earlier this year, Avenatti admitted to stealing millions from four of his clients, but insisted the amount was “drastically less” than the $9 million claimed by federal prosecutors. He was accused of negotiating settlements for his clients and lying about the terms of their agreement. After receiving a payment, Avenatti would transfer the money into his own accounts before telling clients he had not received anything.
“Michael Avenatti was a corrupt lawyer who claimed he was fighting for the little guy. In fact, he only cared about his own selfish interests,” U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada said in a statement in response to his sentencing. “He stole millions of dollars from his clients—all to finance his extravagant lifestyle that included a private jet and race cars. As a result of his illegal acts, he has lost his right to practice law in California, and now he will serve a richly deserved prison sentence.”

Avenatti will begin his 14-year sentence once he completes four years behind bars for pocketing almost $300,000 owed to adult film actress Stormy Daniels as part of her Full Disclosure book deal.

Bill Cosby Slammed With New Sexual Abuse Lawsuit In New York
Trigger warning: This article includes graphic details of sexual assault.
Despite Bill Cosby’s 2018 sexual assault conviction getting overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court back in June 2021, the disgraced comedian is now facing a new sexual abuse lawsuit in New York.
Five women are accusing Cosby of groping, raping, and drugging them in separate instances dating as far back as 1969, and into the ’80s and ’90s. Rolling Stone reports that the lawsuit was filed by Lili Bernard, Eden Tirl, Jewel Gittens, Jennifer Thompson, and Cindra Ladd with all the women stating they were “sexually assaulted and battered” by the actor-producer.
The new complaint was filed under New York’s new Adult Survivors Act, which suspends the statute of limitations of sexual assault cases for one year. NBC Universal Media, Kaufman Astoria Studios, and the Carsey-Werner Company have also been named as co-defendants for failing to protect and intervene on the women’s behalf.
“This is an important step toward holding Bill Cosby and his enablers accountable for their actions and finding some measure of justice for the women they have harmed. We are thankful for the plaintiffs in this lawsuit and other similarly situated women for their bravery in facing their abusers,” said Jordan Rutsky, the plaintiffs’ attorney, in a statement.
“Unwilling to accept that Actor & Comedian Bill Cosby was vindicated by the PA State Supreme Court almost 1 year and 6 months ago a pack of 5 old alleged accusers have resurfaced to file a frivolous civil lawsuit against Mr. Cosby in the Supreme Court of the State of New York County New York,“ he expressed. “For the record, these alleged accusers were once represented by Ms. Allred and was apart of parade of accusers back in 2014 thru 2016. As we have always stated and now America see that this isn’t about justice for victims of alleged sexual assault but it’s ALL ABOUT MONEY. We believe that the courts as well as the court of public opinion will follow the rules of law and relieve Mr. Cosby of these alleged accusations. Mr. Cosby continues to vehemently deny all allegation waged against him and looks forward to defending himself in court.”
Bernard, who is suing Cosby in both New York and New Jersey, claimed that during one alleged assault, “Bill Cosby covered her mouth with his hand and then smothered her entire face with a pillow until Ms. Bernard lost consciousness again.“ She also detailed multiple alleged attacks across various locations including on the set of The Cosby Show, A Different World, and at his home.
Ladd, who alleged she was raped by Cosby in 1969, stated “[he] vaginally raped her without her consent while she was blacked out, including his semen on and between her legs.”
Gittens claimed she was drugged in his Manhattan home in the late eighties, and that Cosby “reached under [her] skirt and anally penetrated her with his finger without her consent.”
Back in March, it was confirmed that the conviction overture will not be appealed. Cosby was, however, found guilty in June of sexually assaulting a minor in 1975. Cosby was ordered to pay $500,000 in damages with no jail time.
