There's certainly no love lost between 'RHOA' alum Porsha Williams and her ex-fiancé Dennis McKinley ... who got into a shouting match that turned physical.
Porsha, friends and family -- including Dennis -- were all vacationing in Mexico during an episode of her show "Porsha Family Matters" Sunday night ... and things quickly went from 0 to 100 during dinner.
The argument first started earlier in the trip after Dennis was called out for cheating on Porsha when the two were together ... but things escalated at dinner when the fight continued after Dennis told Porsha's cousin, Storm, to back off.
While it starts out verbal, things get physical after it appears Dennis lunged at Porsha. Fists fly, and cast members -- including Porsha's friend Simone -- step in to try and separate the two.
However, fans will need to wait till the next episode to see how things end, as the episode came to a cliff-hanger ending before all was resolved.

#MusicNews: The Weeknd Announces New Album ‘Dawn Fm’
The Weeknd is kicking off the new year with a new album.
After much anticipation, the XO superstar has officially announced that his fifth studio album dawn FM will arrive this Friday, Jan. 7. He made the announcement in a trailer that promises a “new sonic universe from the mind of The Weeknd.”
The minute-long clip lists an all-star cast of contributors including Quincy Jones, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, and Oneohtrix Point Never.
Abel transforms once again into an elderly version of himself, while Jim Carrey provides narration.
“You are now listening to 103.5, dawn FM,” says the narrator. “You’ve been in the dark for way too long. It’s time to walk into the light and accept your faith with open arms.”
In August, The Weeknd kicked off the dawn era with the album’s lead single, “Take My Breath.”
“It’s the album I’ve always wanted to make,” he told GQ, who described his new music as “Quincy Jones meets Giorgio Moroder meets the best-night-of-your-fu**ing-life party records.”
Following the album’s release, The Weeknd will hit the road on his “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour, which kicks off in the summer.
dawn FM marks the follow-up to 2020’s After Hours, which topped the Billboard 200 for four consecutive weeks and spawned the smash hit “Blinding Lights,” which was crowed the No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 Song of All Time.

It hasn’t even been five months, but Kanye West is already planning a sequel to DONDA.
In an interview with Complex, Steven Victor says that Ye is back in the studio working on DONDA 2.
“Ye has started working on his new masterpiece DONDA 2,” said Victor, who is COO at G.O.O.D. Music and SVP of A&R at Universal Music Group.
After a series of delays and listening events, Ye’s 10th studio album was finally released to streaming services in late August featuring appearances from JAY-Z, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Roddy Ricch, and more. It topped the Billboard 200 and was certified gold, earning Grammy nominations for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album.
In November, he released a deluxe version of the 27-track album with five additional songs, including a collaboration with André 3000.
While details remain scarce, Kanye was recently in the studio with Scarface. Fans are also hopeful for a Drake collaboration after the two squashed their beef and reunited during a benefit concert for Larry Hoover last month.

Betty White “Died Of Natural Causes”, Agent Denies COVID Related Rumors
Betty White’s cause of death has been revealed. The award-winning TV legend died on Friday (Dec.31) at the age of 99. Her rep has now confirmed the star died of “natural causes”. Betty White’s agent and close friend Jeff Witjas released a statement saying,
“Betty died peacefully in her sleep at her home.”
Witjas also shot down rumors that claimed Betty White had just gotten a COVID-19 booster shot on Dec. 28 and that may have played a part in her death.
“People are saying her death was related to getting a booster shot three days earlier, but that is not true. She died of natural causes.. Her death should not be politicized — that is not the life she lived.”
Jeff Witjas went on to admit that while Betty White was getting older, he thought she would be here forever. He said,
“Even though Betty was about to be 100, I thought she would live forever. I will miss her terribly and so will the animal world that she loved so much. I don’t think Betty ever feared passing because she always wanted to be with her most beloved husband Allen Ludden. She believed she would be with him again.”
Ludden and White were married from 1963 until his death in 1981. According to reports, White’s “very last word” was “Allen”- her late husband.
The eight-time Emmy winner’s death came just weeks before a milestone 100th birthday. Betty White had the longest running career for any woman in TV history, starring in multiple shows over the past 8 decades, starting back in 1939. Her most popular role was when she played Rose Nylund on “The Golden Girls” which ran from 1985 to 1992, and is still loved by many today.
In later years, Betty White made sure to stay relevant by guest starring on several TV Shows and movies such as, “30 Rock, “Boston Legal”, “The Simpsons”, “The Bold and The Beautiful”, and “The Proposal”. She even hosted “Saturday Night Live” in 2010 at the age of 88, making her the oldest person to ever host the show. Her SNL performance was so well received, that she was awarded her seventh Emmy from the gig.

Jury Finds Theranos Founder Elizabeth Holmes Guilty On Multiple Charges In Criminal Fraud Trial
SAN JOSE, Calif. — Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, the one-time billionaire and darling of Silicon Valley who promised a revolutionary blood-testing technology, has been found guilty of four charges in her criminal fraud trial.
The jury of eight men and four women were handed the case in mid-December after three months of proceedings and testimony from 32 witnesses. Deliberations lasted more than 50 hours over seven days.
In the end, the jurors convicted Holmes, 37, of one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and three counts of wire fraud against specific investors. U.S. District Court Judge Edward Davila will sentence Holmes at a later date. She faces up to 20 years in prison.
Holmes was found not guilty on four charges and the jury determined there was no verdict on the other three. Jurors told Davila earlier Monday that they were deadlocked on three of the 11 charges. Davila later declared a mistrial on those three counts and scheduled a status meeting for next Monday.
Once heralded as the next Steve Jobs, Holmes raised $945 million from high-profile investors including the family of Betsy DeVos, Rupert Murdoch and the Walmart-founding Walton family. Theranos, at its peak, was valued at $9 billion.
Holmes was ultimately convicted of defrauding PFM Healthcare Master Fund, a San-Francisco based health-care hedge fund, out of more than $38 million; Lakeshore Capital Management, a fund connected to the DeVos family, of almost $100 million; and Mosley Family Holdings, an LLC associated with former estate attorney Daniel Mosley, of close to $6 million.
As the jury handed was handing down its decisions, Holmes appeared stoic, showing little emotion and looking straight ahead. After the verdict was read, she went over to her family and embraced them.
Holmes exited the courthouse at around 5:25 p.m. PT, without taking questions from reporters. Her attorneys also left without providing comment.
Since its start on Sept.8, the Holmes trial attracted worldwide media attention. In the final weeks of proceedings, journalists and spectators began lining up at 2 a.m. to obtain one of the 34 tickets for the main courtroom or 45 tickets for the overflow room.
Jurors heard impassioned pleas in closing arguments from the government and Holmes’ defense.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Schenk told the jury that Holmes “chose fraud over business failure. She chose to be dishonest with her investors and patients. That choice was not only callous, it was criminal.”
Schenk reminded the jury that Holmes’ own employees repeatedly told her the technology simply didn’t work, yet she kept raising money on false claims.
Prosecutors also tried to convince the jury to disregard Holmes’ claims that her top executive and then-boyfriend Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani abused her. Blaming Balwani was central to Holmes’ defense strategy.
However, thousands of private text messages between Holmes and Balwani, obtained by CNBC, undercut some of Holmes’ claims. The messages, which span from June 2011 to July 2016, revealed romantic musings between the two. They showed a high-flying lifestyle while their start-up was bleeding hundreds of millions of dollars.

Andy Cohen’s only regret from New Year’s Eve is saying something negative about Ryan Seacrest, but despite rumors of his firing he will be back to host CNN’s New Year’s Eve special later this year.

Cohen, 53, hosted CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live from Times Square in New York City last Friday night alongside Anderson Cooper. On Monday’s episode of his Radio Andy talk show, the Bravo producer recalled criticizing a competing broadcast — Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve — which Ryan Seacrest was hosting from elsewhere in Times Square.
“The only thing that I regret saying, the only thing is that I slammed the ABC broadcast,” Cohen said on Radio Andy. “And I really like Ryan Seacrest and he’s a great guy and I really regret saying that and I was just stupid and drunk and feeling it.”
“I was continuing the Journey rant and I just kept talking and I shouldn’t have and I felt bad about that, so that is the only thing,” he added.
Cohen also called out the headlines regarding his quotes about Seacrest, 47. “The headlines about Ryan Seacrest are all like I trashed Ryan Seacrest and I really… I hope he hears the clip,” he said.
A spokeswoman for CNN tells PEOPLE, “Andy said something he shouldn’t have on live tv. We’ve addressed it with him and look forward to having him back again next year.”
During the show Friday night, Cohen said ABC’s performers were a “group of losers.”
“If you look behind me, you’ll see Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing,” he said, according to Us Weekly. “I’m sorry but if you’re watching ABC, you’re watching nothing.

A friend close to the former couple said Borgerson told Maxwell that he was leaving her for another woman during a prison phone call and added, “the marriage was over before the trial started.”
Before the breakup, Borgerson reportedly offered millions of dollars to secure Maxwell’s release and called her a “wonderful and loving person” as part of a letter that was attached to her bail application.
They were also living at a beachfront home in Manchester-on-sea, Massachusetts but Maxwell left the home after learning about Jeffrey Epstein’s arrest.

The 2022 Grammys Are Reportedly ‘Likely’ To Be Postponed Due To The Omicron Variant
At the moment, the 64th Annual Grammy Awards are set to go down at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on January 31, but that may not be the case for long: Billboard reports that “according to multiple sources,” the 2022 Grammys may be postponed, with a “source with direct knowledge” noting it’s “looking likely.” The publication reached out to The Recording Academy, who did not confirm the reports or announce a new date for the show.
It was around this time last year that it was announced that the 2021 Grammys would be delayed. On January 5, 2021, the Grammys shared a statement in which they noted, “After thoughtful conversations with health experts, our host and artists scheduled to appear, we are rescheduling the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards to be broadcast Sunday, March 14, 2021. The deteriorating COVID situation in Los Angeles, with hospital services being overwhelmed, ICUs having reached capacity, and new guidance from state and local governments have all led us to conclude that postponing our show was the right thing to do. Nothing is more important than the health and safety of those in our music community and the hundreds of people who work tirelessly on producing the show.”
Tristan Thompson admits to fathering Maralee Nichols’ baby, apologizes to Khloé
Tristan Thompson confirmed via his Instagram Story Monday night that he fathered a baby boy with Maralee Nichols alongside a sincere apology to his ex — and other baby mama — Khloé Kardashian.
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” the NBA star, 30, wrote. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”
He continued, “I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both privately and publicly.”
In a second slide, Thompson acknowledged how his relationship with Nichols, 31, hurt Kardashian, 37, whom he was still dating when his newborn was conceived.
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,” he wrote. “You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.”
Thompson admitted to fathering Nichols’ newborn son in an Instagram Story post.
The athlete went on to say that his actions “certainly have not lined up” with his personal view of the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum.
“I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think,” he added. “Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
The NBA star also offered a sincere apology to his ex — and other baby mama — Khloé Kardashian.
Thompson’s admission comes after a headline-making legal battle with Nichols.
As previously reported, Nichols claimed in a paternity lawsuit that she and Thompson had sex over his 30th birthday weekend in March, which resulted in her pregnancy. Thompson admitted to having sexual intercourse with Nichols but denied being the father of her infant, whom she welcomed on Dec. 1.
Thompson had repeatedly demanded Nichols’ baby undergo a DNA test to prove his fatherhood.
The NBA baller had filed his own lawsuit against Nichols in Texas in response to her paternity suit against him in California, though it was dismissed last month.
The fitness model opened up about her tryst with Thompson in December when sharing the first photo of her baby with People.
“Instead of focusing on any negativity, I am choosing to embrace being a mother and doing the best I can for my son,” the Los Angeles resident said in a statement. “I do not want any further media attention, nor do I want a romantic relationship with Tristan.”
She continued, “My goal is to raise our son in a safe, healthy, loving and private environment.”
Though Nichols has claimed that she and Thompson had a five-month affair, Thompson has maintained in legal filings that the two only had intercourse once.
Court docs also revealed last month that Thompson used the secret Snapchat username “blkjesus00″ to arrange sex with Nichols on the social media platform.
“I only recall that [Nichols] and I had sexual relations in March of 2021 and at no other time in 2021,” he stated in court docs.
“[Nichols] constantly used the term ‘hook up’ to describe our relationship which was the reality. I am certain that if the child is deemed to be my child that the only date of conception was March 13, 2021, because it was my birthday.”

#RIP: Maxine McNair, last living parent of a child killed in Birmingham church bombing, dies at 93
Maxine McNair, the final living parent of one of the four Black girls killed in the 1963 Alabama church bombing, passed away on Sunday (Jan. 2) at 93 years old.
“Mrs. McNair was an amazing wife and mother and as a teacher of 33 years in the Birmingham public school system imparted knowledge in the lives of hundreds. We are going to miss her laughter and her humor. The family would appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers,” McNair’s family said in a statement.
McNair was the mother of Carol Denise McNair, an 11-year old who was killed at the 16th Street Baptist Church in downtown Birmingham, Alabama. The attack became one of the deadliest of the civil rights movement. Also killed in the bombing were three 14-year-olds — Addie Mae, Cynthia Wesley and Carole Robertson. The girls, along with — Mae’s sister Sarah Collins Rudolph — were in the church’s basement bathroom when the bomb, which was planted by local KKK members, exploded. Rudolph survived the attack, however, she lost an eye.
McNair was in the church’s choir loft when the bomb detonated. She immediately tried to find her daughter. Sadly, she didn’t see her child again until she and her husband had to identify her lifeless body at the hospital.
“I couldn’t stop screaming for several days,” McNair recalled when speaking about that day decades later. “They had to give me an injection to calm my nerves.”
“Mrs. McNair was a matriarch of social justice in our city, an incredible wife and mother who imparted love and wisdom on hundreds of young minds while serving 33 years in the Birmingham public school system,” Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin said in a post on Facebook.
“The McNair family has given so much to our city and we are forever grateful for their service and sacrifice,” he added.

Katt Williams Says Eddie Murphy Doesn’t Deserve ‘Best Comedian’ Title

As reported by The Blast, via Atlanta Black Star, Williams said, “Don’t tell me Eddie Murphy is your favorite comedian because Eddie Murphy hasn’t done comedy since the 80s. It just doesn’t make sense.”
He added, “It’s about how much [of] the body of work you can put out. So, nobody knows was beefing with Mozart, because the guy beefing with Mozart didn’t put up any material. You know what I mean? That’s why history takes care of all of that.”
“I’m only the greatest comedian living because I have more female fans than any comes on the globe,” said Williams.
Williams also noted that he doesn’t get the type of acknowledgment that he deserves as a veteran in the game.
“Because the guy that you’re saying is crazy and maybe a crackhead has outworked you every second that he has been a peer of yours. You probably have one comedy special; he probably has 10. The greats you talk about probably have two, and he has 10. This is 16 100 city tours,” he said.
“I’m also old school, so I don’t consider everyone who’s funny a come. So somebody would have Jim Carrey as their top five comedians, but they’ve never seen him do stand up,” Williams added.
Meanwhile, Williams previously told Vlad TV that Dave Chappelle is a funnier comedian than he himself.
“I’ve never been the funniest person on the planet at any point,” Williams said on DJ Vlad. “It doesn’t matter if people have a different opinion, it doesn’t matter if my fans think differently. They’re biased, they should think differently. But now Dave Chappelle has always been funnier than me. Chris Rock has always been funnier than me. I’ve always been aware of who was funnier than me.”

Ricki Lake is a married woman! The actress and former talk show host, 53, announced that she and fiancé Ross Burningham tied the knot on Sunday. The pair exclusively revealed to PEOPLE that they were engaged in February.
"We did it! 1/2/22 Ross and I said I DO!" Lake wrote on Instagram along with three photos from the ceremony.
The bride wore a golden orange dress and stood on a small stool as she shared her vows to her new husband, who was dressed in a black dress shirt and khaki pants.

Lake first confirmed her romance with Burningham in December 2020. The star made the relationship Instagram official with a selfie of the two snuggled up together beside the caption, "LOVE."
In an Instagram post confirming the engagement, Lake called Burningham "wonderful" and "my person."

‘The View’ Goes Remote As Whoopi Goldberg Tests Positive For COVID-19
Whoopi Goldberg has joined the list of American citizens impacted by the rapidly spreading Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus.
During Monday’s episode, The View co-host, Joy Behar, revealed Goldberg’s positive test and that she is experienced mild symptoms. Goldberg is vaccinated and also received a booster shot. The rest of the cast filmed the show from remote locations.
“They say there’s no place like home for the holidays and that’s exactly where we are this year,” Behar said. “Happy New Year from all of our living rooms. As you can see we’re back in boxes and doing the show remotely — hopefully for just a week, I’m praying that it’s just a week but you never know because this omicron thing is all over the place.
Apple Becomes First Company to Hit $3 Trillion Market Value
On Monday, Apple Inc. (AAPL) became the first company to reach a stock market value of $3 trillion.
In Monday’s tradings, Apple’s share briefly touched a record $182.88 per share. At that price, the iPhone maker’s value topped $3 trillion. The stock later pulled back from that level.
The world’s most valuable company reached the milestone as investors bet that consumers will continue to shell out top dollar on iPhones, MacBooks, and services such as Apple T.V. and Apple Music.
In 2018 the tech giant topped $1 trillion in value, and in August 0f 2020, Apple cracked $2 trillion, powered by its steady expansion into a range of services as CEO Tim Cook sought to reduce the company’s reliance on iPhones, iPads, and other devices for growth.
The surge marks the latest accomplishment for Cook, who became chief executive of the Cupertino, California giant in 2011 shortly before the death of the company’s visionary co-founder, Steve Jobs.
Apple hasn’t provided any guidance since the start of the pandemic, but Cook did say on the earnings call in October that the December quarter will be the largest in Apple’s history in terms of revenue.
“Hitting $3 trillion is another watershed moment for Apple as the company continues to prove the doubters wrong with the renaissance of goeth story playing out in Cupertino,” said Daniel Ives of Wedbush in a note to investors in mid-December. “The underlying iPhone 13 demand story to Cupertino both domestically and in China is trending well ahead of Street expectations in our opinion.”

Apple’s value now surpasses the minimal gross domestic products of six of the world’s top 10 economies, including the United Kingdom, India, France, Italy, Canada, and South Korea.
