On the clear romantic chemistry between her character, Patrizia, and her soon-to-be husband, Maurizio Gucci when they meet at the disco: “Romantic scenes can’t just be two people who look good together—there has to be that nonverbal communication. Patrizia was a disco queen who so wanted to be a socialite. When she was just 12 years old, her mother showed her photos of eligible bachelors. I felt Patrizia would dance like she was underwater, like she was coming up for air. Everything about her had to do with striving. At the disco, she knew she was seen—and in a way, it was the last time she was free.
Explaining how she became her character: “…The most important element in becoming Patrizia was dyeing my own hair brown. I couldn’t be blonde with that Italian accent—I was still myself. It was also important to me that the film not be a red carpet. Fashion was a key part of Patrizia’s survival; she tried so hard, but she was never as shiny as the Guccis.”
On how she knew she was ready to let the character go following filming: “On the last day of filming, I was on the balcony of my apartment in Rome, and I was blasting Dean Martin singing ‘Mambo Italiano,’ and I had a cigarette hanging out of my mouth. I was Patrizia. But I knew I had to say goodbye to her: Large swarms of flies kept following me around, and I truly began to believe that she had sent them. I was ready to let her go.”
W Magazine’s first issue of 2022, Volume 1, Best Performances, hits stands February 8, 2022

#HipHopNews: Fugees Cancel Reunion Tour
The show won’t go on. The Fugees have officially canceled their reunion tour. In a statement released on social media Friday, the legendary hip-hop group—consisting of Ms. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel—said that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has made it difficult for them to proceed with their tour dates.
“We anticipate and understand disappointment but our anniversary tour will not be able to happen,” the group said. “The continued Covid pandemic has made touring conditions difficult, and we want to make sure we keep our fans and ourselves healthy and safe.”
This would have marked the trio’s first world tour in 25 years to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their 1996 album The Score.
“An idea sparked to honor and celebrate this 25th anniversary of The Score but we see now it may not currently be our time for revisiting this past work,” they continued. “We’re grateful for the special night we did get to share with some of you in New York, with that rare live moment.”
However, they did not rule out a future tour. “If opportunity, public safety and scheduling allow, we hope to be able to revisit this again sometime soon. THANK YOU for all your love and support throughout the years.”
The Fugees 25th Anniversary Tour was originally set to kick off in November before it was postponed until early 2022. In September, the trio reunited to perform a pop-up show for Global Citizen Live in New York City.
'Girls Trip' Sequel Officially "Underway" With Original Cast Returning, Says Producer
One of the main things people missed during the worst parts of the pandemic was taking a trip. As most of us plan to have a week (or weekend) away with friends to try not to think about the coronavirus for a couple of days, turns out there are four famous girlfriends who are gearing up to do just the same: in an interview on Good Morning America, the producer of the 2017 hit comedy Girls Trip announced that the four leading ladies are coming back to do it all over again. Girls Trip 2 is coming!
Emmy nominee producer Will Packer, who has under his belt titles like Straight Outta Compton, 2018’s Night School, and is currently producing the 2022 Academy Awards, revealed that it’s about time Ryan (Regina Hall), Sasha (Queen Latifah), Dina (Tiffany Haddish), and Lisa (Jada Pinkett Smith) made their way back to the big screen – and yes, they are all coming back.
something that I will tell you and break right now at 'GMA': the 'Girls Trip 2' sequel, we are underway. We are absolutely in the stages, the ladies are in, I just talked to the director. […] We are underway with 'Girls Trip 2,' and now it's just about what kind of trip do we take, right? Post-pandemic with all our favorite crazy ladies, what do we do with them? That's what we got to figure out."
The returning director, Malcolm D. Lee, also produced the first film with Packer. Ever since then, Lee has proven himself extremely eclectic by directing Night School, a comedy starring Haddish and Kevin Hart, the documentary Finding Kendrick Johnson, family film Space Jam: A New Legacy, as well as episodes from Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga and Prime Video’s Harlem.
Girls Trip was released in 2017 and quickly became a surprise hit, grossing over $140 million worldwide against a budget of only $19 million. The comedy told the story of four friends who decide to go to Essence Music Festival in New Orleans in order to have fun and reconnect, and they end up getting a lot more that they bargained for. Girls Trip also received an overwhelming amount of critical acclaim, and now the age-old question will linger in our heads until production starts: can the sequel live up to the original’s success?
Packer hasn’t revealed any further information about Girls Trip 2, including whether the trio of original screenwriters, Kenya Barris (black-ish), Tracy Oliver (First Wives Club), and Erica Rivinoja (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), are coming back to pen the sequel.
Kelly Price Addresses R. Kelly’s Sex Crime Allegations: ‘Where There’s Smoke There’s Fire’
Price, who began collaborating with the Kelly in the 1990s told the outlet that her relationship with Kelly was always “professional.” Price claimed she was never “exposed” to Kelly’s alleged misconduct, but had heard the whispers involving supposed relationships with teenage girls.
“He never brought anything around me. People don’t believe it but he never, ever brought anything around me,” Price said. “He never acted weird. He never tried to make a pass. We, very much so, had a brother-sister [relationship].”
She continued: “I think we all heard rumors. The rumors were that he liked underage girls. He never had underage girls around me.”
Price said she had become close with Kelly’s family, and suggested that relationship may have been the reason why he remained so professional whenever she was around.
“I went to Chicago, went to [Kelly’s] house, played with kids, cooked for the kids … That really was who I was to that family,” she explained. “So I was not exposed to a lot of the other shenanigans. And I think that there was a part of him that understood that if I did see any [sex crimes], I wouldn’t be like somebody else and turn my head the other way.”
Price then touched on the sexual abuse and harassment that continues to plague the music industry, pointing out that it was quite common to see young women and girls being exploited.
“In this business—and nobody really wants to talk about it—in this business, that’s not odd, that’s actually the culture,” she said. “It’s the culture. Now that I have seen. I’ve seen mothers bring their daughters backstage. And that’s the thing nobody wants to talk about.”
The interview was published about four months after Kelly was found guilty on a slew of criminal charges, including racketeering, bribery, and sexual exploitation of a child. He is now awaiting a sentencing hearing set to take place later this year.
Vanessa Bryant says Kobe Bryant crash photos were shared on 28 sheriff's department devices
Bryant’s lawyer claims the graphic photos were shared by a firefighter at a gala for the 2020 Golden Mike Awards.
Vanessa Bryant’s lawyers claim that “close-up photos” of her late husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna Bryant were shared on at least 28 different devices belonging to members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
On Thursday (Jan. 20), Bryant’s attorneys filed an update to her ongoing lawsuit. They allege that the graphic photos were passed around by at least 12 county firefighters. Additionally, the images were shown at local bars and by a firefighter at a gala for the 2020 Golden Mike Awards, which is held for broadcast journalists in Southern California.
Bryant’s lawyers believe the firefighters and deputies tried to conceal evidence of the pictures. “It has also shown that defendants engaged in a cover-up, destroying the direct forensic evidence of their misconduct and requiring extensive circumstantial evidence to establish the full extent of that misconduct,” they said in the documents.
As previously reported, in 2020, Bryant filed a lawsuit against the county after learning that first responders and deputies took graphic photos of the remains of the January 26, 2020 crash. Images of Kobe’s body were reportedly shared with a bartender and a patron at a local bar by a deputy trainee. A firefighter also showed the gruesome photos to a group of off-duty firefighters and their partners.
Skip Miller, attorney for Los Angeles County, told People in December that none of the images were shared with the public.
“While the County sympathizes with Ms. Bryant’s tragic loss, it did not cause the crash that claimed the lives of her husband and child,” Miller said at the time. “Rather, it responded to that crash and, at her specific request, set up a no-fly zone, undertook extensive efforts to keep the public and paparazzi away, and made sure none of the investigative photos were ever publicly disseminated.”
“The County did its job and believes there is no merit to this lawsuit,” he added.
Bryant is seeking damages for emotional distress and mental anguish for the photograph leak. The trial is set to begin next month.
Adele tears up talking to fans who showed up for postponed Las Vegas show
Adele almost cried her heart out while FaceTiming with fans.
The singer, 33, makeup-free and puffy-eyed, struggled to hold back tears as she spoke with fans who had schlepped to Las Vegas to see her perform on Thursday only to have the show canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, reports The Daily Mail.
One call took place in a pop-up store selling merchandise such as $50 t-shirts, sweatshirts ranging in price from $90 to $110, and $75 bottles of her favorite Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir wine, which usually sells for $40. Each ticket holder received a free gift bag designed to take the sting out of having her abruptly pull out of her performance.
When the fans gushed about the store she told them: “Don’t buy anything, you’ve already spent enough f—ing money.”
In another call, Adele offered a free drink token to a pair of disappointed concert-goers before quickly reneging on the proposal after realizing they were underage. She did however tell them that she put her heart and soul into the production.
“I love you too, I’m so sorry and I can’t wait to meet you, alright,” the Grammy winner said. “Get your free bag – and you’re not old enough to drink are you so you can’t have that free drink token.
“You’re too young… Get your freebies and chat to anyone. Ask any of my team anything about the show, ask them anything about me, about the show.
“I designed that score myself,” she continued. “I bled and f–king sweated and cried into it. So just have fun to all the fans and I’m really sorry and it’s really nice to meet you both.”
On Thursday the British singer tearfully shared on social media that she was postponing her “Weekends with Adele” residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, which was scheduled to begin its run on Friday, Jan. 21, and run through mid-April.
“Hi. Umm, listen,” she said in the video clip. “I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready.”
Reports have surfaced that Adele clashed with the venue who wanted her to perform her Oscar-winning song “Skyfall” with a 60-member choir, while she was looking to keep the performance “low-key” and “all about the voice.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger involved in four-car crash in Los Angeles, one woman injured
Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a four-car collision in Los Angeles that left one woman with an injury on Friday.
The incident occurred around 4:35 p.m. Pacific in West Los Angeles, according to a statement from police.
"Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported one adult female to a local hospital with an abrasion to her head," Los Angeles police said in the statement. "Neither alcohol or drugs are suspected as a factor in this collision."
All parties remained at the scene of the crash, the LAPD added.
Schwarzenegger's rep, Daniel Ketchell, confirmed the "Terminator" actor wasn't injured.
"Arnold is fine, his only concern right now is for the woman who was injured," Ketchell said in a statement.
Schwarzenegger amassed a fortune playing action roles in the “Terminator” and “Conan” film franchises after a successful career as a bodybuilder. Since his two terms as California's governor, he has returned to acting sporadically with roles in “Terminator” and “Expendables” films.

‘AFV’ Will Pay Tribute to Bob Saget With Weekly Segment Throughout Season 32
“AFV,” the family TV institution that Bob Saget helped launch in 1989, will pay tribute to its original host for the rest of the season with a regular segment showcasing memorable moments from his time on the ABC series according to Variety.
“America’s Funniest Home Videos” honored its original emcee in its Jan. 16 episode, a week after Saget’s death at the age of 65. But executive producer Vin Di Bona decided earlier this week that there was too much prime PG-rated Saget material in the vault from his eight-year run not to share more on the air.
“I’d forgotten how whimsical and crazy his host bits were — very physical and very visual,” Di Bona told Variety. “In one show he walks on stage in front of the audience and says ‘Did I tell you it’s my birthday?’ And the audience all raises their hands with wrapped gifts for him. It’s that kind of gentle crazy humor that I want younger generations to see from him.”
Saget helped “AFV” take root as a Sunday evening mainstay for ABC with his performance as host, serving up a mix of pratfalls, on-the-edge of snarky comments and a repertoire of crazy cartoon-like voices that he added to heighten the comedy of the homemade video clips.
At the time Saget was a seasoned standup comic and star of ABC’s hit “TGIF” Friday night comedy “Full House.” He was a natural choice to host “AFV,” which began its storied run as a one-off special. It was a flier for ABC, a special adapted from a Japanese TV series format to capitalize on the home video recording revolution as it hit critical mass in the late 1980s. Saget became a household name in the late 1980s as a family-friendly TV star but at the same time he had a long-established reputation for working extremely blue and edgy in his prolific standup comedy work.
Di Bona said the call to keep a tribute segment running throughout the show’s 32nd season was also influenced by the extraordinary outpouring of testimonials to Saget over the past two weeks. The comedian, who died on the road, has been widely hailed as a generous friend and tireless supporter of fellow comedians, actors, writers and many others. As “AFV” producers perused clips from Saget’s 1989 to 1997 tenure on the show, they saw flashes of the qualities that Saget’s friends and co-workers cited most, Di Bona said.
During his 1989-1997 tenure on “AFV,” “Bob was most proud of his voiceover work,” Di Bona said, adding that none of the subsequent “AFV” hosts have attempted to add that touch to clips. “We spend endless hours in voiceover sessions perfecting how Bob would do that. Oftentimes he would be three to four characters in a clip. That meant tracking three to four channels of voiceover to mix together. It was hysterical and it was exhausting. And in the end, it was funny.”
The “AFV” segment will run at different times in the 12 hourlong episodes that remain for the 2021-2022 season. The segment opens with a quick-cut montage of Saget “AFV” moments and the chyron “AFV Remembers the Saget Years.” Di Bona feels it’s a fitting tribute for the first face of the show.
“As the rabbi said at the opening of Bob’s (memorial) ceremony, ‘He could be a handful, and he was delightful, and he was a wonderful human being,” Di Bona said
Julia Fox Hits Back at Claims She's Dating Kanye West 'For the Money'
During the latest episode of her podcast Forbidden Fruits, the Uncut Gems actress discussed the speculation surrounding her relationship with Kanye West and hit back at claims she was dating him for the money.
She said, “It’s funny cause I’m getting all of this attention, but I really couldn’t care,” adding, “People are like ‘Oh, you’re only in it for the fame, you’re in it for the clout, you’re in it for the money.’ Honey, I’ve dated billionaires my entire adult life, let’s keep it real.”
Julia went on to say she “couldn’t care less” about the attention her relationship has garnered, explaining, “Watch my movie, read my book. That is more thrilling to me now than eyes on me.”
She also brought up the dinner party she recently attended with Kanye and Madonna, sharing that the other celebs who showed up gatecrashed the event.
“There was a lot going on. Madonna was there,” Julia said. “I was actually supposed to be at dinner for just Madonna and I.” She also added that “all of these other celebs crashed.”
007 Producers Address the Possibility of Idris Elba Becoming the Next James Bond
Years before Daniel Craig officially left the James Bond franchise, fans began speculating on who is successor might be. Actors like Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Lashana Lynch, and Henry Cavill have all been mentioned as possible replacements; however, there is one name that is frequently tossed around when discussing the new 007: Idris Elba.
In a recent interview on the Deadline Podcast, Bond executive producer Barbara Broccoli confirmed Elba has not been ruled out as the franchise’s next star.
“Well, we know Idris, we’re friends with him, and he’s a magnificent actor,” Broccoli said. “And, you know, it’s been part of the conversation, but it’s always difficult to have the conversation when you have someone in the seat. I think we have decided that until No Time to Die has had its run and Daniel has been able to — well, we’ve all been able to savour, reap the benefits of Daniel’s wonderful tenure, we’re not gonna think about, or talk about anybody else.”
Craig made his Bond debut in 2006’s Casino Royale, and went on to portray the character in the following four installments, the latest of which was 2021’s No Time to Die. Though the film marked Craig’s farewell to the franchise, Broccoli reassured audiences Bond “will be back.”
Idris spoke about the Bond rumors during a 2015 interview with the Hollywood Reporter, suggesting there was a slim chance he would ever land the role.
“Honestly, it’s a rumor that’s really starting to eat itself,” he said. “If there was ever any chance of me getting Bond, it’s gone … Daniel Craig actually set the rumor off. About four years ago he said Idris Elba would be a great Bond and then it started to creep. I blame Daniel.”
Tracee Ellis Ross’s Hot Yellow Dress from Galvan London Sets Instagram on Fire
*In 2022, you better watch out for shades of yellow, as far as the leading fashion trends are concerned. This includes everything from marigold to lemon to buttercup. The year has just started, and Tracee Ellis Ross has already confirmed this truth, thanks to her latest Instagram post.
The Black-ish actress set Instagram on fire with her stunning, form-fitting, yellow dress. In a series of photos to her account, she wore the Galvan London knit design that has a crystal pleated hem (add an extra layer of dimension) and a square neckline. It is also long-sleeved, though there is a sleeveless design as well. She matched her lovely dress with pointed-toe yellow heels, products of Christian Louboutin. The heels have a height of about 4 inches, and they did justice to her bubbly attire.
The photos were probably taken backstage at an event, and one can tell she was trying different poses to find the one that would stand out. That explains her caption, “Couldn’t choose.”
Ross’s outfit was assembled by Karla Welch, her most common stylist. Karla posted the gorgeous attire to her own Instagram account.
“Hotter than global warming,” read her caption. She was assisted in the ensemble by Grace Wrightsell, another stylist. Molly Greenwald did Ross’s makeup as Marcia Hamilton styled the hair.
Other celebrities also found Ross’s outfit impressive. Gabrielle Union commented with several fire emojis.
“Wowwwwwwww,” commented Marsai Martin, who is Ross’s co-star
“Love every single one,” added Tamu McPherson, a Fashion writer and photographer.
Of late, the “Girlfriends” star has been bringing out all kinds of monochromatic attires. Did you see her bright green pantsuits or the black dresses with matching heels? Well, you should. These are the kinds of pictures that make you want to go out and buy similar outfits.
Lil Nas X Sued For Allegedly Plagiarizing The Format And Style Of His “Gives Birth”
Rapper Lil’ Nas X has been accused of plagiarizing the format and style of his ‘Gives Birth’ video, and one artist has threatened to sue the superstar.
According to court documents Lil Nas X — real name Montero Lamar Hill — is facing a lawsuit for his ‘Lil’ Nas X Gives Birth’ video on artist Dana Dentata’s ‘Pantychirst’ album and cover art.
Dana Dentata [Dana Wright] sent Lil Nas X and his team a cease-and-desist letter, stating that he used “copyrighted material” that is “basically similar to the ‘Pantychrist’ music video and clearly used the work as its basis.”
“Moreover, the sonogram image your client released, as well as the photographs depicting him as pregnant wearing a prosthetic stomach in promotion of Montero, which appears on Instagram and in People Magazine, are nearly identical and, once again, clearly used my client’s works as their basis,” the letter reads.
“You did not Π°sk for or receive permission to use my client’s Works Π°s the bΠ°sis for LIL NAS X GIVES BIRTH Π°nd Π°s promotionΠ°l content for Montero, nor to mΠ°ke or distribute copies of it,” it continues. As Π° result, we believe you hΠ°ve infringed on her rights on purpose.”

Bill Cosby Documentary Will Explore Explosive Sex Abuse Accusations
Bill Cosby and his sex crimes will be highlighted in a forthcoming docu-series.
The four-part doc titled “We Need to Talk About Cosby” will debut during the Sundance Film Festival, which will be held virtually on January 22nd. The series will then be available on Showtime on January 30th.
In the official trailer for the doc, one of his accusers, Eden Tiri, makes a bone-chilling accusation that points the finger at Cosby’s enablers.
“Do not edit this: A lot of people knew. Because you can’t do what he did unless you have other people supporting what you’re doing,” Tiri said in the film. She was an actress who says that Cosby groped her in his dressing room during a 1989 taping of “The Cosby Show.” Tiri says she immediately told showrunners what happened but was ignored.
Another damning moment in the trailer shows Cosby openly speaking about a woman drinking a Spanish Fly, the name of a drink that is said to be a sexual stimulant and known to have damaging effects.
Comedian W. Kamau Bell, who directed the documentary, called the 84-year-old one of his “heroes,” but posed the question, “How do we talk about Bill Cosby,” following the dozens of accusers who claim he sexually assaulted them.
In June 2021, Cosby was freed from prison after being convicted in 2018 of sexual assault. He only served two years of a three-to-10-year sentence and maintained his innocence. He has not publicly commented on the documentary.
Fat Joe and friends to takeover radio station as part of Bronx fire relief
Fat Joe is still working hard to assist survivors of the deadly fire that took place earlier this month in the Bronx. Days after launching a relief fund, the Plato O Plomo emcee has teamed up with Hot 97 with hopes to raise more money for the victims. On Saturday, Jan. 22 from 10 am to 7 pm ET, he will take over the radio station with a group of celebrity friends and encourage listeners to donate to the cause. Remy Ma, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, French Montana, DreamDoll, Slick Rick, B-Lovee and more are slated to make their appearances.
“I’d like to express my appreciation for my family at HOT 97, WBLS and all my friends that are supporting this fundraising effort,” Joey said. “It’s critical that we continue to come together and uplift our Bronx brothers and sisters who are suffering physically, mentally and emotionally from this tragedy.”
Joe’s forthcoming gig as Hot 97’s radio show host comes after he and the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City came together to launch a fundraiser. With donations from DJ Khaled, JAY-Z and more, he revealed that he’s already raised $1 million.
“It’s the Bronx. I had to go hard. I donated a large amount,” Fat Joe said in an interview with Pix 11 News. “We’re just trying to help the people. People are homeless… they don’t know how to pay their bills, it’s cold in New York.”
“No matter where I go in the world or what I achieve, I could never forget my community,” he continued. “I had to react, but I couldn’t do it on my own.”
Despite reaching the million-dollar mark, Joey Crack claims there’s “much more to raise.”
As previously reported, 17 people died in the Bronx apartment fire on Jan. 9. Cardi B is covering funeral and burial costs for all lives lost in the blaze.
NYPD Officer Killed, Another Critically Injured in Harlem Apartment Shooting
An NYPD officer was fatally shot Friday night while responding to a domestic disturbance call in Harlem.
According to WLNY, the shooting took place around 6:30 p.m. at an apartment complex on West 135th Street and Lenox Avenue. Authorities arrived at the scene after someone reported a dispute between a man and his mother, who was reportedly a correctional officer. Sources told the outlet the man—identified as 47-year-old Lashawn McNeil—took his mom’s service weapon and began firing at police shortly after they arrived.
Officer Jason Rivera, who joined the force in November 2020, was shot and killed during the incident. His partner Wilbert Mora, who’s been with the NYPD since 2018, was also wounded and remains in critical condition. A third officer entered the residence immediately after gunfire erupted, and fatally shot McNeil.
“Around 10 or 15 shots came from behind my building, which is, I’m not going to say not normal, but it’s the occurrence here in Harlem,” a neighbor told the outlet. “It’s been getting bad over the last year or so. I thought they were fireworks.”
According to WLNY, five NYPD officers have been shot in the first several weeks of 2022.
“This is a horrible tragedy and our thoughts and prayers go out to the officers, their families and the entire NYPD,” Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg tweeted. “The officers who serve and protect us risk their lives every day. Violence against police cannot be tolerated.”
NYPD executives and NYC Mayor Eric Adams addressed the deadly incident in a press conference Friday night, confirming the suspect had a criminal history and was out on probation at the time of the shooting.
“It is our city against the killers. This was just not an attack on three brave officers. This was an attack on the City of New York,” the mayor said. “And it’s an attack on the children and the families of this city. And we are not going to win this battle by dividing lines between us. We must save this city together.”

*If you are a “Euphoria” fan or any other hit HBO show, you must be on the lookout for less expensive ways to get HBO Max. Are you aware HBO Max has actually heard your wish and done just what you would love to hear: the streamer is out to spoil you this year, what with a 20% off promotion for the monthly subscribers! You have to take advantage of this offer fast enough because, like all such good things, it is not going to last for too long. It will only be available in the next four days.
Usually, an HBO Max subscription costs $9.99/month, but it is $2 down with this offer, so you will only part with $7.99/month. To benefit from this new-year, generous offer, you are only asked to be willing to put up with ads as you watch your favorite shows. On the other hand, the ad-free monthly plan has also dropped $3 from the usual $14.99 price; it will now cost $11.99/month.
If you drop everything you are doing and subscribe to HBO Max right now, you will enjoy this deal of the century for cool 12 months. That is one full year of cheaper HBO Max. However, there is a catch: you have to be a new subscriber or your subscription has already expired, and you would want to resubscribe. If your subscription is still active, you are disqualified from the sweet deal.
By now, you should have signed up for HBO Max! Why keep on reading? Have you forgotten the great new TV series you will be watching after you grab this offer? Think of Insecure, think of “Succession,” or “And Just Like That.” That’s all? No. Think of “Sex and the City“ or “Game of Thrones.” HBO Max also releases popular weekly shows such as “Euphoria“ and “Peacemaker.” You now have the opportunity to watch them ahead of everyone else—all these for a lowered price.
The streamer now has full 8-movie collection streaming, so you are well covered if you are the binge-watcher type. The platform recently released “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts.” You certainly know how much it would normally cost you to rent all the films in the saga.
Linger not. Make good use of the grace period. You can subscribe directly at their website. Remember the offer wraps up on Jan 25.
Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Fine $25K For His Postgame Comments
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been fined $25,000 for his postgame comment following the team’s defeat on Sunday.
After the Cowboys’ loss to the San Francisco 49ers, a statement Dak said in his postgame interview wasn’t pleasing to the NFL. The quarterback was asked how he felt about the fans hurling trash and bottles at the referees as they were exiting the field.
“Credit to them. The fans felt the same way as us. I guess that’s why the refs took off and got out of there so fast. I think everybody is upset with the way this thing played out,” Prescott says.
However, it didn’t take long for the NFL to take action against the 28-year-old QB. Seeing the nature of Dak’s comment, it’s no surprise the fine was put into place.
Dak later took to Twitter to apologize for his comments towards the officials.
“I deeply regret the comments I made regarding the officials after the game on Sunday. I was caught up in the emotion of a disappointing loss and my words were uncalled for and unfair.”
He then followed up with another tweet to say, “hold and the NFL Officials in the highest regard and have always respected their professionalism and the difficulty of their jobs.”
Prescott ends his series of tweets by admitting to his mistake and apologizing again.
“That was a mistake on my behalf, and I am sorry.”
