Camila Cabello isn't afraid to admit that solo fame has had its drawbacks since separating from Fifth Harmony.
“I try to protect myself as much as I can,” the singer tells Cosmopolitan in a cover story for their July 2018 issue. “I don’t have any social media on my phone. I have it on my mom’s phone…It has made a world of difference. If it’s right at your fingertips, there’s a huge chance you’re going to come across something that really hurts your feelings.”
The “Havana” hit-maker also talks about her budding friendship with Taylor Swift, who she is currently on tour with. “We met like four years ago at the VMAs. I went up to her and Lorde, and I was like, ‘I just want to say that I really look up to you guys.’ We’ve been friends ever since…I love her.”

When asked to elaborate further on coping with pre-show nerves, Cabello says, “I just want to live my best life. Kenya Moore's demotion from the Real Housewives of Atlanta isn't the only loss she's suffered recently. It is now being reported that she made the decision to shut down her business for good.
According to Radar Online, papers obtained from the Georgia Secretary of State Corporations Division confirm that the reality star's production company, Moore Vision Media, INC, has officially closed its doors.
The site reports that Moore "voluntarily terminated the business and it was dissolved on January 30, 2015."
"All known debts, liabilities and obligations of the limited liability company have been paid," the certificate of termination reads. "There are no actions pending against the limited liability in court."
This all comes after news that Moore has been downgraded on RHOA, with her allegedly no longer being a full-time cast member.
"Shooting starts in two weeks and Kenya will not hold a peach," an insider told the publication. "Execs aren't even sure if Kenya will be a 'friend' on the show. She's been fired as a full-time housewife. She just hasn't delivered anything that people want to watch. So she's out."
#‘Empire’ Finale Matches Series Low – Still Keeps Fox in Wednesday Primetime Lead
The Lyon family helped Fox roar over Wednesday primetime Nielsen ratings — as usual — on Wednesday night with the Season 4 finale of “Empire.” However, while the Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard-led drama gave the network another win, the season-closer actually matched the series low “Empire” first hit in the key adults 18-49 range two weeks ago.
Meanwhile on CBS, “Survivor” wrapped Season 36 with its own weak numbers, equaling its lowest-rated regular episode ever and lowest-rated finale. But the ending to “Ghost Island” still pulled in enough eyeballs to bring the broadcaster to first place in total viewers for the evening.
Fox was first in ratings with a 1.4 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and third in total viewers with an average of 4.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. At 8 p.m., the “Empire” finale put up a 1.6/8 and 5.2 million viewers. The “Star” finale at 9 landed a 1.2/5 and 4 million viewers.
CBS was second in ratings with a 1.3/6 and first in viewers with 6.8 million. From 8-10:30, the “Survivor: Ghost Island” finale posted a 1.4/6 and 7.2 million viewers. The show’s reunion special at 10:30 managed a 0.9/4 and 4.6 million viewers.
NBC was third in ratings with a 1.0/4 and second in viewers with 5.3 million. Following a repeat at 8, the season finale of “Law & Order: SVU” at 9 received a 1.1/5 and 5.7 million viewers. At 10, the second hour of the season-closer got a 1.3/5 and 6.5 million viewers.
ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.6/3 and in viewers with 2.6 million. From 8-10, a telecast of “Toy Story 3” averaged a 0.6/3 and 2.5 million viewers. At 10, “20/20” settled for a 0.5/2 and 2.3 million viewers
#MusicNews: Raphael Saadiq Reveals Odd Demands Prince Forced Him To Do When He Was In His Band
Singer/musician/producer, Raphael Saadiq, has always been a private dude, so for decades, not much has been known about his past. There’s one fact he revealed in recent years, that most fans of the former Tony! Toni! Toné! lead singer never knew. He was once worked for the late, great Prince and when you see what Prince made him do, you will probably flip out…or at least lightly chuckle.
In an interview with The Quietus, Raphael Saadiq revealed that at the age of 18 he auditioned to be Prince’s protege’ and also part of the band Prince created for Sheila E., during their “Parade Tour.” He was shocked when he made it, but didn’t let Prince know:
“I was taught by my dad not to look excited at the point Prince said my name. I played the bass guitar in my audition like Prince meant absolutely nothing to me,” [said Saadiq]. It worked, even if Prince’s non-standard take on masculinity would later come as a surprise.
The hilarious part is that Saadiq says in order to be in the band, he really had to become one of “The Blouses” that the late Charlie Murphy once spoke about in his infamous “Chappelle Show” skit. Check out what Saadiq said below…
“To be in the band you had to wear a ton of make-up, it was mandatory. You had to almost sign a contract to wear eyeliner, blusher and basically look like a girl. That Dave Chappelle skit was no joke, we literally were The Blouses!” After the shows with Prince, Saadiq would transform his appearance getting dressed back into a bomber jacket, Detroit Titans baseball cap and white T-shirt while rocking some 501s and Nike Quartet sneakers. “Prince liked that I dressed differently cos’ he could see I was my own person. I knew when I was playing ‘Erotic City’ in Yokohama, Japan, that my life had sort of changed.”

Suspect in 4 Phoenix-area deaths kills himself, police say has been identified!
PHOENIX — Arizona police say a man suspected of murdering a prominent forensic psychologist, a psychologist and two paralegals at their offices in Phoenix and neighboring Scottsdale is dead.
Phoenix police said officers tracked the suspect over the last day and a half and were attempting to make contact with him at an Extended Stay America hotel shortly before 7 a.m. MT on Monday.
Shots were fired as the SWAT team went into the suspect's room, but officers did not fire, Phoenix police Sgt. Vince Lewis said, the Associated Press reported.
The suspect was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Lewis said. Police used a robot to enter the room. The suspect was alone.
Lewis said police did not fire any shots and no one else was injured.

The series of murders that began Thursday evening have rattled the legal community. Police said evidence connects all four homicides.
First killed was Steven Pitt, a forensic psychiatrist who consulted on a number of high-profile cases including the Baseline Killer case and the JonBenét Ramsey murder investigation. He was gunned down outside his Phoenix office.
Lewis said witnesses overheard a loud argument followed by gunshots at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday. The 59-year-old died at the scene. The shooter fled the area, leaving police with nothing but a sketch of a round-faced man with a dark-colored cap.
Less than 24 hours later, Veleria Sharp, 48, and Laura Anderson, 49, were shot in the downtown Scottsdale law offices of Burt, Feldman and Grenier about 2:15 p.m. Friday. Both women worked as paralegals.
Police said one of the women was shot in the head. She then ran out of the office and flagged down a party bus driver to call for help. She was later pronounced dead.
The second woman was found shot to death inside the office.
Police on Monday also confirmed that evidence linked a fourth murder to the series

Jimmy Fallon served as the surprise commencement speaker on Sunday at the graduation ceremony for Marjory Stoneman Douglas.
The “Tonight Show” host delivered his address to the nearly 800 graduates at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.
He said at one point, “When something feels hard, remember that it gets better. Choose to move forward. Don’t let anything stop you.”

All things Serena: Serena Williams Pulls Out of French Open Due to Injury!
Serena Williams has pulled out of her fourth-round match against Maria Sharapova due to a pectoral muscle injury, the athlete announced on Monday.
Williams, 36, returned to Roland Garros this year with a bang, quickly amassing a string of victories. Now, the three-time French Open champion will sit out the tournament with an injury that won’t allow her to serve.
“I’m beyond disappointed,” Williams told reporters. “I gave up so much, from time with my daughter to time with my family. I put everything on the court … So it’s really difficult to be in this situation.”
The tennis legend thanked fans for their support in an Instagram post on Monday, writing, “You always live to fight for another chance. I’ve done a lot of fighting and this is just the beginning. Thank you for the support. I love you.”
Williams said she began feeling pain in the area during her last match and will get an MRI on Tuesday, according to ESPN.
Williams was expected to face off against Sharapova, 31, in a highly-anticipated match on Monday. Although many consider the pair to be rivals, the statistics tell another story. Williams has won 19 of their 21 match-ups — including the past 18, ESPN reports.
Monday was set to be their 22nd meeting, as neither women played in the tournament last year. Williams did not compete because she was pregnant. Sharapova was denied a wild-card spot after her headline-making doping scandal, according to ESPN.
Williams also addressed rumors of a feud between her and Sharapova.
“I don’t have any negative feelings toward her,” she said.
“I fell like negativity is taught and … women should bring each other up. A lot of people always assume that I feel a different way and that’s not true. If anything, I feel like we should encourage each other and the success of one female should be the inspiration to another.”

Kanye West Reveals He Was Diagnosed With 'Mental Condition' At 39
Putting speculation to bed, Kanye West has revealed that he was diagnosed with a “mental condition” at the age of 39, and considers it a “superpower” that apparently helps fuel his creativity.
West, 40, talked about his diagnosis in an interview with radio personality Big Boy after debuting his new album, “Ye,” at a listening party in Wyoming’s Jackson Hole on Thursday.
“I had never been diagnosed until I was like 39 years old,” the rapper said, clarifying that he was “diagnosed with a mental condition.” But “like I said on the album,” he added, “it’s not a disability, it’s a superpower.”
The rapper didn’t name the condition, but he has referred to his bipolar disorder on “Ye.” The artwork for the album also features a photo of mountains, with a hand-written scrawl reading: “I hate being bipolar it’s awesome.”
In one of his new tracks, “Yikes,” he raps: “That’s my bipolar shit, nigga what? That’s my superpower, nigga. Ain’t no disability. I’m a superhero! I’m a superhero!” He also raps about contemplating suicide — and murder.
Kanye said he “completely redid” his album after the backlash from his inflammatory comments on TMZ last month where he stated slavery “sounds like a choice” (and that he’s a fan of Donald Trump). He said he even “took out a bar” referring to his position because it was “just too sensitive to talk about that topic.”
Kanye said he felt “so blessed and so privileged,” even with his mental struggles, that he can come back from the controversy that arose because of his slavery comments.
“Think about people that have mental issues that are not Kanye West, that can’t go and make that [an album] and make it feel like it’s all good. Think about somebody that does exactly what I did at TMZ ... at work ... and they [lose] their job ... That’s why God put that on me at age 40,” he said.
Asked why he named his album “Ye,” he explained: “I believe ‘ye’ is the most commonly used word in the Bible. And in the Bible, it means ‘you.’ So ... I’m you. I’m us. It’s us ... I’m just more of a reflection of who we are.”
Kanye with the worst take yet “It’s a beautiful time to be alive,” he told Big Boy. “We’ve been here before, and we’re gonna be here again. I’m going to see you again. And I’m going to tell you [that] this next life, too.”

Apple Doubles Down On Privacy Protections With Latest Version of Mac OS!
Apple, which has used its commitment to consumer privacy to distance itself from its Silicon Valley rivals, doubled down on privacy and security with the latest version of its Mac desktop operating system, dubbed “Mojave.”
Apple Senior Vice President Craig Federighi said new data protections in the macOS, which is due out this fall, will require apps to get a user’s permission before accessing the camera and microphone or peering at personal data in mail or messages.
“We believe your private data should stay private,” said Federighi, in a line that drew robust applause today’s keynote address to Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose.
The latest version of the Safari browser will come with intelligent tracking prevention to prevent companies from using “like” or “share” buttons to track users without their permission — that’s a direct shot at Facebook, whose privacy practices have come under fire.
Safari also will make it harder for data companies to track individual computers through a method known as “fingerprinting,” or using a device’s specific configuration, its fonts and plug-ins to track a user from site to site. Safari will show stripped down set of information when users browse the web.
“As a result your Mac will look like everyone else’s Mac,” said Federighi. “It will be more difficult for data companies to identify your device and track you.”
Apple has worked to set itself apart from Facebook and Google on privacy for a long time — a clear differentiator, since its business model relies on selling devices at premium prices, not advertising that’s informed by data collection.
“When an online service is free, you’re not the customer. You’re the product,” Chief Executive Tim Cook wrote in an open letter to Apple customers in 2014.
Cook sought to underscore that point this spring, when Facebook was dealing with the fallout from Cambridge Analytica harvesting data on millions of its users without their permission.
“You are not our product,” Cook declared in a Chicago town hall event with MSNBC and the tech news site Recode. “You are our customer. You are a jewel, and we care about the user experience, and we’re not going to traffic in your personal life.”
Carolina Milanesi, a technology industry analyst with the research firm Creative Strategies, said she worried that Apple would use its developers conference as an opportunity to score publicity points on its competitors. Instead, it introduced tools that attack a problem that is of concern to legislators in the U.S. and in Europe: namely, Facebook’s ability to track its users after they’ve left the social media platform.
“Today it wasn’t about PR,” Milanesi said. “They actually put their words where their mouth is.”

He reluctantly said he has dated both men and women, but said he found the question to be intrusive. Lee later took to Twitter to clarify his quote and confirm he happily owns being a “member of the queer community.”
In a new interview with The New York Times, Lee says the W Magazine article gave him an “opportunity to participate” and that two things influenced his decision to seek out that opportunity.
One is a new relationship with a fashion executive, but he didn’t reveal who the lucky guy is. Lee‘s friend Judy Greer says, “I’ve never seen Lee so happy.”
The other reason is Lee‘s Angels in America character Joe Pitt, whose coming out journey is explored in the play.

Jaden Smith, the son of one of Hollywood’s most famous couples Will and Jada Pinkett Smith has been known to take to social media and create a debatable topic in discussion. In a recent interview, the 19-year-old compared prisons to schools. He says,
We’re preparing everybody to go through prison with the schools. There’s too many correlations between public schools and prisons. The fact that you have the long hallways, the fact that you have a fixed responsibility to authority, the fact that there is a specific time to go outside and play, and there’s a specific time you could come back in and the way that your notified by that happening is by the bells.
He continues, There subconsciously getting you to have a fixed response to authority and understand what it’s going to be like when you are in prison. It’s like know when you’re here you have to listen to me I’m in charge and now I’m going to pass you off to this person who’s in charge when you’re doing this.
Then it’s like, Oh you went to school? So you already know what it’s going to be like in prison. You have the bells, you got the times where you can go out, you can come back in. Then you have your authority figures that you have to respond to. You’ve already been trained for this.
Expectedly, not everyone agreed with Smith though. As some felt he’s privileged and shouldn’t be speaking on matters that doesn’t involve him.

Starbucks executive chairman Howard Schultz steps down
(Reuters) - Starbucks Corp Executive Chairman Howard Schultz is stepping down, effective June 26, the world's biggest coffee chain said on Monday, fuelling speculation that the outspoken, liberal-leaning executive will make a U.S. presidential bid.
Schultz, 64, has been with Starbucks for nearly four decades and built it into one of the world's most powerful global brands. Under his leadership, the Seattle-based coffee shop chain went from 11 cafes to more than 28,000 in 77 countries.
In recent years, he has repeatedly denied that he would make a move into politics, but he appeared to be more open to the idea of running for public office in an interview with CNN last week.
Asked specifically about a U.S. presidential run Schultz, said in a New York Times article on Monday: "I intend to think about a range of options, and that could include public service. But I'm a long way from making any decisions about the future."
Schultz added that he has for some time been "deeply concerned about our country - the growing division at home and our standing in the world. "One of the things I want to do in my next chapter is to figure out if there is a role I can play in giving back," he said, adding: "I'm not exactly sure what that means yet."
Starbucks declined to make Schultz and other Starbucks executives and board members available for comment.
Last year, Schultz stepped down as chief executive officer to become executive chairman, handing the top job to Kevin Johnson.
Still, Schultz was heavily involved in steering the company through an anti-bias training program after a Philadelphia cafe manager's call to police resulted in the arrests of two black men who were waiting for a friend.
Starbucks' board named Myron Ullman, previously chairman and CEO of struggling retailer J.C. Penney Co, as its new chair, and Mellody Hobson as vice chair effective upon Schultz's retirement.
Schultz will also resign from Starbucks' board and will be named chairman emeritus, the company said in a statement.
