Although she’s giving us life on the make-over themed issue, the media mogul admitted she was a little apprehensive rocking a skin-tight catsuit for the new cover. She said,
"I’m not built to suit a fashion model's size,” quoting Maya Angelou’s poem Phenomenal Woman.
She also offered up some tips to live your best life saying,
“To feed yourself with love and loving thoughts. To eat food that’s delicious to you and your body. To engage in loving practices, like giving yourself the gift of stillness at least five minutes a day. Actress Jasmine Guy, Hit With New Tax Problems
Not so good news for Jasmine Guy actress. The “A Different World” star has found herself into more financial issues with the IRS, after having to file for bankruptcy back in 2009.

According to theJasmineBRAND.com the IRS has hit her with a brand new tax lien.
Guy filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy in 2009, claiming in court docs the same year that her ex-husband left her with an excessive amount of debt in their divorce. The docs noted that she had to file for bankruptcy due to their tremendous debt they incurred during their 11 year marriage.
The actress claimed to owe $123,503.64 in back taxes to Uncle Sam.
Then July 15th, Guy was hit with a brand new federal tax lien accusing her of failing to pay her taxes for the years 2008 & 2012. The lien — filed in Georgie — states that she owes $13,721.26 for 2008 and $13,802.60 for 2012. The grand total for her unpaid taxes comes to $27,523.86.
Jerry Jones Caught “Turning Up” With Young Women in Leaked Pics
In “Old White Men Do the Darndest Things” news, Cowboys owner/president/general manager Jerry Jones, recently has had some very compromising photos leaked of himself. The photos, originally shown on Terez Owens, show the 71 year old Jones to be in what appears to be a bathroom, with two young women, one of whom he stands behind grabbing her boobs and another pic has a young woman with her face in his crotch area. The very married Jones is just the latest old fart to get caught with his pants around his ankles (pun intended). In the photos Jones appears to be either drunk or sleepy (it was probably past his bed time) as he poses awkwardly with the girls. In what should be racy photos, comes off as just old man creepy and I’m hoping that these girls were at least compensated for showing Mr. Jones a good time, especially the one who decided that she would take the pic of Jones’ old, shriveled up footballs near her face.
The photos were allegedly leaked by a man by the name of Frank Hoover (who claims to be the son of God by the way), and he says that the pics were taken as part of an extortion plot. According to Forbes, Jones is worth $3.1 billion so it’s not far fetched to believe that someone would try to extort him, and when you are rolling in the dough like he is, it isn’t hard to believe that some young women would throw themselves at him making the opportunity to set him up even easier. This story, along with “The Grinch that stole the Los Angeles Clippers” Donald Sterling and his side chick drama, goes to show that money can buy you women and little blue pills, but obviously it can’t buy you common sense.

Giving the fans what they want, the ladies and gentlemen of “Orange is the New Black” fielded questions during a panel discussion at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles.
Jason Biggs, Leverne Cox, Uzo Aduba, Taylor Schilling, Jenji Kohan and Natasha Lyonne all turned out for the event, posing for photos before heading inside.
Meanwhile, Ms. Cox paid a visit to “Conan” during which she ended up serving as Conan O’Brien’s hairdresser.
Laverne told the crimson-haired comedian, “You are turning off a huge segment of the demographic that you could be reaching. People are afraid of clowns, I’m scared just looking at you.”
Jazmine Sullivan Reveals Why She Took a Break From Music: “I Was Going Through A Tough Time In Life.”
Jazmine Sullivan brought us hits like “Need You Bad” and “Bust Your Windows” from her debut album, Fearless, then took a break from the limelight following her 2010 sophomore album, Love Me Back.
She recently sat down with ESSENCE.com where she opened up about her hiatus from the music scene. Although some believed that her break was due to her second album not selling well, she says that wasn’t the case:
People thought that I stopped because my second album didn’t sell as well. That wasn’t true. I was going through a tough time in life. I was in a relationship, it was not good and it kinda took all my focus from everything.
Describing the relationship as her first real one, she says that it had become unhealthy and “got horrible and difficult.” Her reaction to the situation was to isolate herself from everything she loved – music included:
When things are bad, they just take up all of your energy. You can’t really see straight. Once I got out of it, I realized that I had stopped doing something that I’d wanted to do all my life. Something that I had been working to do all my life. I realized that I had lost myself. That should have been the last thing I stopped—my music—because I love it.
The songstress attributes her faith and family in helping her find her way back: “God and my family got my mind right,” she said. And also shared that she’s surprised with the public’s anticipation of her comeback. “Other artists can come in and take your place when you’re not there to fill it.. I’m glad to see that I still have a spot.”
Jazmine has a single out – titled “Dumb,” with Meek Mill - and her new album, Reality Show, is expected later this year.

Drake Rocks Out at The 5th Annual OVO Fest in Toronto
October's Very Own Drizzy went back home to Toronto to host and kick off his 5th Annual OVO Fest during Caribana Weekend. The concert was held at the Molson Amphitheatre and featured a performance from one of Drake's faves, Lauryn Hill. Lauryn hit the stage to perform a mashup of "That Thing" and "Draft Day."

Momma Dee Confirms Dating Andrea Kelly’s Ex Brian McKee
If this ain’t some mess…… Andrea Kelly’s ex-husband Brian is now dating Momma Dee… I guess you can say, he has swindled his way into the kingdom?
Momma Dee has now confirmed to Madamanoire.com that she is romantically involved Brian McKee who is the same man that married Andrea Kelly on Hollywood Exes this past season but then got a divorce after Andrea Kelly found out he was using her for money.
Momma Dee says:
“We are seeing each other, but we’re friends first. You can’t claim somebody without being friends, so you’ve got to get to know one another. I found out that in dating, women tend to sleep with these men. We’re very emotional creatures. We give up our punanies and feel like that man is supposed to be ours. But if you’re still dating him—dating means getting to know one another. If you jump that process and it doesn’t turn out the way that you want it to turn out, then people will get salty. Mariah Carey Splits with Manager Jermaine Dupri
Mariah Carey is on to the next one. The “elusive chanteuse” has parted ways with her manager Jermaine Dupri.
The So So Def mogul confirmed the split in a statement to Billboard.
“I’m a very hands-on person when it comes to my work,” said J.D. “I put my all into every project. But when I’m not allowed to do what I do, then I know it’s time for me to move on. Mariah and I enjoy working together and will continue to make great music together in the future.”
Dupri has produced some of Carey’s biggest hits including “We Belong Together” and “Always Be My Baby,” and served as the executive producer of her latest album, Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse.
The announcement comes in the wake of the disappointing sales of Chanteuse. Despite its critical acclaim, the album has sold only 103,000 copies since its May 27 release, and has fallen off the Billboard 200 after just eight weeks.
In an interview with Rap-Up, J.D. defended the sales. “I actually feel like it’s probably one of her best albums she’s ever made,” he said. “I’m excited to see where the album ends up. I tell a lot of people, this era of music and this genre, they don’t understand records that come out small and sell a lot of records.”
According to Billboard, Carey has been working closely with Kevin Liles, who manages Trey Songz and Ty Dolla $ign. While nothing official has been inked, the two recently collaborated on the launch of Go N’Syde’s Carey-branded Butterfly beverage

Nicki Minaj is covering the August/September issue of The Fader. Releasing new music (Anaconda — Bang, Bang, Bang, etc.) and prepping for her third album (The Pink Print), the 31-year-old is in full promo mode. Check out a few excerpts.
