Selena Gomez Goes Understated For Vogue Brazil June 2016 Cover
She’s been having a banner year thus far, and Selena Gomez just landed the front page of the June 2016 issue of Vogue Brazil.
The “Come and Get It” songstress posted an excited message to her Twitter account on Tuesday (May 24) to let her followers know the good news- "My first cover for @voguebroficial with @louisvuitton."
Miss Gomez actually has two different versions of her cover- the first in full color and the second in black and white with Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere. Looks nice.
#RHOA: Kandi Burruss has officially given the ultimate clap back after reports claimed that she was coming against NeNe Leakes and her return to the show last season.
Burruss appeared to write a tweet that reads, “Aint nobody excited to see Nene’s face back on the show, just sayin… #dramafordays”
Well Burruss uploaded a video and shut down the tweet while pointing out it clearly wasn’t her who wrote it because her name was spelled wrong. She also defended Leakes, who was accused of saying that Burruss took a “magic pill.” NeNe never posted nothing that said I took a ‘magic pill,’” Burruss added.
She then came for another tweet that reads, “I am proud of my body and I’m a BOSS B****! Lost 23lbs in 2 weeks with #cambogia. This stuff works ladies!”
She called out that tweet and said it came from another fake tweet; but spelled her name right this time.
While this isn’t the first time Burruss has been subject to this online, she then explained why she decided to speak up this time.
“I never took this bull people… Never, ever. I did not tweet this from my page. They made this up. They made a fake tweet. My friend said she was about to buy that because she thought I actually used it. I never used it in my life. I never made those tweets. Do not believe the hype people.”
Burruss ended by threatening to take legal action.

EMPIRE: Taraji P. Henson is being honored for Women in Film 2016 Crystal + Lucy Award Honorees
Taraji P. Henson, Natalie Dormer and Lesli Linka Glatter are set to receive top honors at the 2016 Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards fundraiser dinner June 15 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
The annual benefit gala advocates gender parity for women throughout the industry, and this year’s theme “Designing Change” will highlight the organization’s year-round commitment to design and promote initiatives and programs that will continue to increase opportunities for women on and off screen
Henson, who is a Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-nominated actress for her lead role as Cookie Lyon on Fox’s “Empire,” is the recipient of the Lucy Award for Excellence in Television; “Game of Thrones” star Dormer will receive the Women In Film Max Mara Face of the Future Award, presented by Max Mara Global Ambassador, Nicola Maramotti; and Lesli Linka Glatter will be honored with the BMW Dorothy Arzner Directors Award.
Hylda Queally, who represents such A-listers as Lupita N’yongo and Cate Blanchett, will be presented with the Sue Mengers Award, which honors a representative who has been instrumental in guiding careers.
The Crystal Award for Excellence in Film will be presented to a league of women producers including Denise Di Novi, Lauren Shuler Donner, Lucy Fisher, Lianne Halfon, Lynda Obst, Jane Rosenthal, Paula Wagner and Paula Weinstein.
The 2016 Crystal + Lucy Awards is presented by sponsors Max Mara and BMW.
New Music Video: Watch: Maxwell Premieres “Lake By The Ocean” Video!
Maxwell has premiered the steamy music video for his fast-rising single “Lake By The Ocean,” filled with classic sensuality and gorgeous cinematography.
The story opens with a beautiful young woman, weary from carrying jugs of water in the dusty summer heat. She escapes in the evening to watch Maxwell perform in an intimate café, followed by a passionate midnight rendezvous with the R&B star.
Maxwell says the video, “depicts a world in need of water and two clandestine lovers who meet with liquid dreams, one being the bare boned need for clean water, and another, the performer, who wants to be lost in the watery worlds of love and devotion.”
Director Phillip Andelman adds, “this was such a special experience, Maxwell’s vision for this piece really allowed us to push ourselves and create something personal. Shooting in small villages and pristine coastlines immersed us into the heart of the song. I am so grateful to have been part of this journey.”
This is the first visual from Maxwell’s much-anticipated new album blackSUMMERS’night, due out July 1, his first album in seven years and the second chapter of his musical trilogy that began with 2009’s BLACKsummers’night. Starting June 18, he will embark on his SUMMERS’ Tour, including a headlining slot at the Essence Festival on July 1.

Hip Hop News: Troy Ave Arrested In Connection With Shooting At T.I. Concert
Troy Ave has been arrested in connection with last night’s shooting at a T.I. concert.
The Brooklyn rapper allegedly fired his gun in the club before accidentally shooting himself in the leg, according to the New York Daily News. He has been arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and illegal weapons possession.
Sources tell the newspaper that Ave can be seen firing a gun in surveillance clips and that he could have been aiming for Maino, who was coming off the stage at the time of the shooting. “There is clear video, very graphic video,” an insider told NYDN. “He walks right out, women all around, and starts shooting his gun. It’s an ongoing rap group rivalry, him and Maino.”
However, Maino’s lawyers have countered these claims in a letter, according to HipHopWired. “There is no feud between rappers Maino and Troy Ave and never has been,” the letter reads.
Maino also refuted claims of his involvement on Instagram.
In part, his statement reads: “I woke up to the usual FALSE and ridiculous lies being circulated by irresponsible members of the media. What transpired was absolutely NOT the result of MYSELF or ANYBODY IN MY CAMP , ENTOURAGE, TRAVELING PARTY or ORGANIZATION IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM.”
More serious charges could follow Troy Ave in this case. “Police said they were awaiting the result of ballistics tests before charging Troy Ave with murder,” the paper reports.
As previously reported, one man was killed during the chaos last night. The Daily News claims the man was Ronald “Edgar” McPhatter (also known as B$B Banga), who is reportedly a close associate of Troy’s. McPhatter’s mother, Rose, has publicly criticized Ave for not offering his condolences following the incident.
“He actually cared a lot about Troy Ave,” she told the paper. “My wish is that Troy Ave cared as much about my son as he cared about him. I say that because I watched how my son would always bend over backwards to help him. If [Troy Ave] cared about my son as much as he alleged he does, I would’ve received a call from him. He didn’t call me. He didn’t call any of my other sons.
T.I.—who is not believed to be involved in the feud and who did not perform at the club despite being the planned headliner—has offered his condolences via social media. “My heart is heavy today,” he wrote. “Our music is intended to save lives like it has mine and many others. My heartfelt condolences to the family that suffered the loss & my prayers are with all those injured.”

Rihanna Collaborates With Dior On Sunglass Collection
From Puma to Manolo Blahnik, Rihanna has taken the fashion world by storm. And now the fashionista has landed another major designer deal with Dior.
As part of her brand ambassadorship, the “Work” singer has collaborated with the French fashion house on a collection of futuristic sunglasses simply called “Rihanna.” According to WWD, the frames will be sold exclusively at Dior retail stores starting in early June.
The one style is available in silver, pink, blue, green, and red, and will retail for $840, while a deluxe 24-karat gold-plated version will cost $1,950.
This is not RiRi’s first time working with Dior. Last year, the 28-year-old was named the company’s first black spokeswoman and starred in their “Secret Garden IV” campaign, shot by Steven Klein in Versailles.
“We are very pleased to partner for the second time with Rihanna,” said Dior chief executive officer Sidney Toledano. “She is an artist, an entertainer, an entrepreneur, a philanthropist, and a style icon for today’s generation.”
Rihanna visited Dior’s headquarters in October to meet with the eyewear design. Her vintage 2000 frame was inspired by Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge from “Star Trek.”
“I’ve always been obsessed with his eyewear, and when I got to Dior and saw all the materials I could play with, it all just came together,” she said.
While there is no official campaign, photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino shot Rihanna in the frames for a series of editorial images.
Rihanna, who is also Puma’s Creative Director, recently launched her own “Denim Desserts” footwear collection with Manolo Blahnik and inked a $10 million deal with LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton for a makeup line.

Diddy Undergoes Rotator Cuff Surgery Following Bad Boy Reunion Shows
Diddy and the Bad Boy family had the Barclays Center on fire with their reunion concert this past Friday and Saturday night, and after putting on such a show for the hype crowd, the music mogul underwent rotator cuff surgery yesterday.
He posted a Snapchat video, where he addressed fans prior to the surgery, and it also showed him being rolled out in a wheelchair after the procedure was done.
“This morning I underwent rotator cuff surgery on my shoulder,” he wrote in the pic’s caption. “I’ve been in a lot of pain for a while but I’m grateful that I was able to make it through the shows and get to this point. My arm will be in a sling for while and I may not be dancing as usual but I’m on the road to recovery!! Thank everyone for the prayers and support!!! #GodBless #love.” Diddy also shared that this is his fourth rotator cuff surgery.
He is scheduled to hit the road with Lil’ Kim, Ma$e, Faith Evans and more of the Bad Boy family, for their Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour – set to kick off in August.

“Hollywood Divas” Stars in New Magazine Shoot
The “Hollywood Divas” are gearing up for season 3 and they came to slay and play!
Before the upcoming season’s premiere, the ladies got all glammed up for a super hot photoshoot for KONTROL magazine. And they’ve been teasing the slayage with a few behind-the-scenes shots on social media.
We told you “ATL” star Malika Haqq, who also stars on “Dash Dolls,” would be joining the cast after Elise Neal left the show. When the announcement was made, she revealed why she decided to sign-on saying:
“One of my most challenging moves to date has been stepping out of my comfort zone. At the same time, I know I need to grow and surround myself around other actors, so joining the cast of Divas seemed like a leap of faith in the right direction.”
All of the other ladies are set to return, including Countess Vaughn, Golden Brooks, Lisa Wu and Paula Jai White. They worked their magic for the cameras with several outfit changes. And they all look pretty nice.
Countess was working it out and posing it up in between takes.
Golden was more than ready to rock this uber fab black gown for the shoot. We see you Golden.
Lisa was a breath of fresh air in a sparkly jumpsuit that hugged her curves.
And Paula kept it sexy in a high-slit gown with cutouts.

Did Zayn Malik dump Gigi Hadid just after her birthday & the Met Gala?
A few days ago, Zayn Malik went for a walk with a blonde who is not Gigi Hadid. Zayn and the mystery blonde looked friendly, perhaps even flirtatious – go here to see the photos. The headline most sites ran with was “Zayn went for a hike in mismatched shoes,” which is true, he was wearing mismatched shoes. But I’m more interested in what was happening with the mystery blonde.
Ever since those photos came out, I’ve been wondering… do you think Zayn and Gigi split up? They’re young, so if they have broken up, it’s probably not the end of their story. But I am getting a weird vibe. So is Life & Style (via Hollywood Life).
A new report claims Zayn Malik, 23, and Gigi Hadid, 21, have broken up, and to make matters worse — they haven’t been photographed together since May 7. Zayn and Gigi reportedly split after the model’s 21st birthday and the Met Gala, with the former taking place in late April and the latter on May 5.
“Zayn broke the news to Gigi two weeks after her birthday,” a source told Life & Style. “He sat her down at dinner and told her how he felt. Zayn told Gigi that he wanted to keep his options open and work on himself. Gigi was shocked because she thought they were a perfect couple. She is absolutely heartbroken and has been feeling really sad ever since.”
Zayn and Gigi have not been photographed in public together since May 7. This evidence would certainly go along with the timeline of the new report. May 7 was about two weeks after Gigi’s birthday. However, we must note — Gigi posted an Instagram picture of herself with Zayn on May 21. We assume it’s an old photo because in the caption, she wrote, “missing you.” Either work is just keeping them apart, or she’s missing him post-split.

I’m including Gigi’s Instagram below. “Missing you” is vague enough to go with my theory/vibe that something did happen. The thing about is though… I’m not sure Zayn would do the dumping? WOULD HE? I mean, Gigi is HOT. She’s not only beautiful, her career just keeps getting bigger and bigger too. My point is that for Zayn, there’s nowhere else to go. There is no “trading up” from Gigi. But then again, I do think Zayn has a self-destructive streak. Maybe this isn’t the end. I hope not, because I do love them together for some strange reason.
