#RHoA: Cynthia Bailey getting Married?
Cynthia Bailey may be joining Eva Marcille as a newlywed housewife before long. Bailey’s boyfriend Mike Hill indicated recently that he may want to lock things down with his boo.
“When you know….you know!! Let’s do it C! @cynthiabailey10 You ready?? #CHill #GodIsGreat #Thankful #WhatYouThinkImTalkingAbout 🙏🏽🙏🏽,” Hill wrote on a Tuesday, Oct. 9 Instagram post on a photo of him and his “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star girlfriend.
The post came just a couple of days after Bailey and her Fox Sports 1 host boyfriend attended the luxurious wedding of Marcille.
And the 51-year-old model seemed to affirm she’d get married for a second time writing, “Yes baby I am ready❤️”
Some commenters did a virtual double take upon reading Hill’s caption.
Bailey seems to have made a complete 180 on her stance on marriage after divorcing restauranteur Peter Thomas in 2016.
“Peter never felt like he was my No. 1 priority,” she told The Daily Dish that year of the demise of her six-year marriage. “He was right. [My daughter Noelle Robinson] was.”
“I couldn’t give up Cynthia Bailey to be Cynthia Bailey Thomas,” she added. “I was in love with Peter, but I’m just not wife material. I will never be in a relationship again where it will take a lawyer for me to walk away. I will never marry again.”
But earlier this summer, Bailey teased that she was in love with Hill, whom she kept a secret at the time. So now it seems that love is enough to have convinced her to give married life another shot.
#Empire’ Season 5 Episode: Cookie and Lucious Continue Rebuilding Their Business
“Empire” season 5 episode 4 is titled “Love All, Trust a Few” and it will show Empire bringing the Lyon family together again in next week’s episode. Cookie and Lucious will continue to work harder to regain their position and reputation in the music industry, but rebuilding their business means they need their family’s support and this is the first step.
The pair wants to create music on a larger scale as they did back in the day. Aside from the need to win support, they must look for the right clients in order to achieve their goal.
As per Rotten Tomatoes, “Empire” season 5 episode 4’s synopsis reads: “The Lyon family works to get back in their groove with a brand-new project underway. As Cookie and Portia attempt to sign Devon, who has just the sound they're looking for, Andre tries to prove himself useful to Lucious on the business side of things.”
It added, “Not having heard from Kai, Jamal panics and looks back at their history together. At Empire, the new management entangles itself with a dangerous tie from the Lyon family's past.”
Kai will be played by Toby Onwumere, who will appear in “Empire” season 5 episode 4 as a guest. Meanwhile, Cookie and Lucious will try to sign up Devon to their company because they need someone talented like him if they want to get back on track. It is yet to be seen if he will agree to join Empire or not.
Mario, a singer, is playing Devon and his role will be a recurring one, The Hollywood Reporter noted. His presence in the musical drama is notable because he perfectly fits the character as a musician with excellent skills.
“Empire” season 5 episode 4 is airing on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 8 p.m. on Fox. The season premiered on Sept. 26.

The R&B legend releases the 8-track EP, ‘A‘ with producer Zaytoven. The project sees the singer expressing the culture of Atlanta delivering a modern Trap-&-B vibe. The 8 tracks come with only two features from Future (“Stay at Home”) and Gunna (“Gift Shop”).
According to Usher, the project was written and recorded solely in Atlanta over only 5 days, and it was all done recently to help celebrate his birthday (Oct. 14).

Gerard Butler has canceled his Press Trip to Saudi Arabia Following Journalist's Disappearance
Gerard Butler has canceled his upcoming Hunter Killer press trip to Saudi Arabia.
The 48-year-old actor made the announcement during a news conference on Monday afternoon (October 15) at the Pentagon in Washington D.C.
Gerard was scheduled to travel to the country and intended to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, but changed his plans in light of journalist Jamal Khashoggi‘s disappearance.
Jamal, self-exiled Saudi journalist who had been living in the U.S., was last seen entering the Saudi consulate in Turkey on October 2nd.
“It didn’t feel like a good time to be getting involved in that. It would have felt incredibly insensitive to go to Saudi Arabia,” Gerard said during the press conference.

Donald Trump Takes Ratings Severe Nosedive In ‘60 Minutes’ Interview;
The newsmag’s 1.8 rating among 18-49 year olds and 11.3 million viewers, while the strongest showing of any non-NFL program Sunday night, marks a 47% dive in the demo and 43% in total viewers, relative to Trump’s most recent previous 60 Minutes sit-down. Trump had bagged a 3.4 demo rating, and 20M viewers overall, in his November 13, 2016 interview on the CBS newsmag, broadcast shortly after his election. That time, unlike this past Sunday, Trump enjoyed no NFL lead-in support.
Trump’s Sunday 60 Minutes interview also appears to be down by double digits compared to the newsmag’s most recent broadcast benefiting from an NFL overrun. On September 30, the newsmag logged 2 2 demo rating and 13.537M total viewers.
This past Sunday, Trump had been handed an NFL overrun lead-in of 14.39 million viewers and a 3.6 demo rating.
NBC’s Sunday Night Football Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots (6.1, 18.43) ran away with the night, though, being a live broadcast, those stats are subject to bigger adjustment. In metered markets, which are time zone-adjusted, SNF tracked as the highest rated NBC SNF game since Week 1 of the 2017 NFL season, up 34% from year ago game. The game tied a best-ever for NBC’s SNF Week 6 game in the 13 seasons of the package
NBC (5.0, 16.06M) topped the night. CBS (1.5, 9.15M) came in second, followed by Fox (0.8, 2.20M) in the demo and ABC (0.7, 4.03M) in total viewers, with CW (0.5, 1.53M) behind.
Georgia Sued for Placing 53,000 Voter Registrations On Hold
Civil rights groups filed a lawsuit against Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp, who they say is holding 53,000 new voter registration applications on his desk.
Kemp’s office oversees all elections in the state of Georgia. Kemp faces opponent Stacey Abrams in the race for governor of Georgia.
Kemp denies the allegations that his office is illegally holding voter applications.
Kemp’s office verifies new voter applications by using an “exact match” protocol. The protocol causes a no match result if a single letter or number is transposed, deleted, or there is an accidental entry of an extra character on the form.
The lawsuit alleges that the “exact match” protocol suppresses minority votes in violation of the Voting Rights Act, the 14th Amendment and the 1993 Voter Registration Act.
An Associated Press investigation revealed earlier this week that Kemp’s office has 53,000 new voter applicants on his desk — 70 percent of the applicants are Black people.
Many of the applicants may not know that their applications are on hold.
Voters whose applications are on hold have 26 months to correct their mistakes before the application is canceled, according to NBC News.
Kemp blamed his opponent, Stacey Abrams, for being “sloppy” while registering voters through her New Georgia Project, a voter registration group she founded in 2013.
“This is a publicity stunt that the media falls for year after year. Their claims are bogus, said Candice Broce, a spokeswoman for Kemp’s office.
She said the 53,000 applicants can vote in the November 6 election.
“Any claims to the contrary are politically motivated and utterly false,” she added.
In a tweet later Thursday, Abrams said her campaign will set up a voter protection hotline and will also send watchers to the polls to make sure voters can cast ballots on Nov. 8.
“Let me be clear: We will work to process the 53,000 voter registrations, but we will not wait for justice,” Abrams said.
