Timberlake stares into your soul on the cover of Vanity Fair Italia. The pop star opens up to the fashion mag mostly about his upcoming animated film Trolls out Oct. 27, but strayed away for a moment to comment on whether an artist must be slightly tormented to write songs that connect.

The article appears in Italian, but Google Translate had this to say: “It depends. In the past, suffering helped me to compose. ‘Cry Me a River’ was written in a moment of pain, and the whole world knew.”

'Empire' Season 3 sneak peek takes viewers back to the 'beginning'

As 'Empire' fans eagerly wait to find out the current fate of some of their favorite characters, the show's creators will take viewers on a trip to the past – namely, the early days of Lucious and Cookie, and how the dynamic duo first met.

The romance between Lucious and Cookie is explored through flashbacks, when the two were teenagers. Jeremy Carver and Ajiona Alexus portray the younger versions of the powerful music moguls-to-be.

The third season of "Empire" premieres Wednesday, September 21 at 9pm ET on FOX.

New Hip Hop: New Music: DeJ Loaf – ‘Miami’

While she readies her debut album, DeJ Loaf takes a trip to “Miami” on her latest song. The Detroit rapper, who is reportedly dating Lil Durk, hits the beach with some Hennessy and serenades a special guy, who she met about a week ago.

“I don’t know what it is / I just wanna be close to you,” she sings before revealing her freaky plans. “Take your clothes off, baby / See your soul all naked.”

In June, DeJ dropped a trio of videos for “Goals,” “Vibes/Chase Mine,” and “Who Am I?” Next up, she is set to release her debut album.

Caitlyn Jenner’s ‘I Am Cait’ Reality Show Cancelled!

The plug has been pulled on Caitlyn Jenner’s reality show, I Am Cait. After two seasons, E! has decided to cancel the show after two seasons. an E! spokesperson on Tuesday stated:

"We are incredibly proud of the two seasons of ‘I Am Cait,’ a groundbreaking docu-series that sparked an important and unprecedented global conversation about transgender people, their struggles and triumphs. Caitlyn and E! have mutually decided not to move forward with another season at this time. She will always remain a part of the E! family, and we look forward to continue following her journey as she appears on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians.’"

I Am Cait chronicled the life of Caitlyn Jenner after her gender transition. The eight-part one-hour documentary series debuted on July 26, 2015, on the E! network. The series focuses on the “new normal” for Jenner, exploring changes to her relationships with her family and friends. The show additionally explores how Jenner adjusts to what she sees as her job as a role model for the transgender community.

In its first season, critical reception of I Am Cait was generally positive. Critics particularly praised the series approach to the social issues of the transgender community and its influence on the way Americans see and understand transgender people in general.

The show’s informative and serious tone was also noted, and how it differed from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, a reality series that Jenner has starred in together with her family. In October, the show was renewed for a second season, which premiered on March 6, 2016.

Simone Biles Gets Major Love from Hollywood Hunk Zac Efron

*To say Olympian gymnast Simone Biles is doing the damn thing is an understatement. We already know she’s set records and has gold medals up the proverbial kazoo, now she’s added a hot Hollywood hunk to her fan base.

Well, he’s been there for a while, but they finally got to meet today. The diminutive ball of energy and talent not only got to greet Zac Efron, but she got a smooch on the cheek from the superstar and posed for snaps!

If you weren ‘t aware, Miss Simone first gave public adulation to Efron back in March, when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. When Ellen brought up her crush, Simone couldn’t stop giggling.

“Is it just ’cause he’s gorgeous, is that why you like him?” Ellen DeGeneres asked, to which she responded a confident, “Yes!”

Later via Twitter, Efron congratulated Biles for her incredible performance during the qualifying rounds.

According E! News, Efron gave props to Biles throughout the Olympics over social media, but the actor managed to make his way over to Brazil to say hello in person.

A few photos posted of the pair on Twitter show them canoodling for the camera, with Biles flashing the biggest smile you could imagine while Efron puckers up next to her.

Their little lovefest was for her Snapchat, where you can hear Zac ask Simone to tell him when it’s going. She says “it’s going” and he kisses her on the cheek. All the girls in the background scream, because duh.

Biles repays the favor for a Boomerang clip posted to her social media, showing the gymnast give a quick peck on Efron’s cheek.

And to make sure he wouldn’t start no ish back home, the Hollywood star also posed for pictures with more of the Team USA ladies, all of whom who couldn’t hide the excitement on their face.

Bill Cosby’s Lawyer Monique Pressley Resigns

Monique Pressley will no longer represent Bill Cosby. The information was confirmed in recent court filings and confirmed by Cosby’s spokesperson. The Washington, DC based attorney will no longer be on the comedian’s team. This news, comes after his main attorney Christopher Tayback left a few months ago. Pressley has yet to comment on her departure.

As previously reported, Cosby has been the subject of publicized sexual assault allegations. With the earliest alleged incidents allegedly taking place in the mid-1960s, Cosby has been accused by more than 50 women of either rape, drug facilitated sexual assault, sexual battery, child sexual abuse, and/or sexual misconduct. Earlier sexual assault allegations against Cosby became more public after an October 2014 accusation as part of an onstage performance by comedian Hannibal Buress went viral, and many additional claims were made after that date. The dates of the alleged incidents span from 1965 to 2008 across 10 U.S. states and one Canadian province.

Cosby has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and had not been charged with a crime prior to December 30, 2015, when a warrant was issued for his arrest for a felony sexual assault charge brought by Pennsylvania prosecutors based on accusations by Andrea Constand.

Most of the acts alleged fall outside the statutes of limitations for criminal legal proceedings, but numerous civil lawsuits have been brought against Cosby. As of November 2015, eight related civil lawsuits are active against Cosby, including two that also target Cosby’s lawyer and one that also implicates his wife and manager Camille Cosby. In a December 11, 2015 interview, Gloria Allred said that she is representing 29 of the alleged victims. Allred also said that there are more alleged victims who have contacted her and that some of those that had contacted her would be coming forward. In July 2015, court records from Andrea Constand’s 2005 civil lawsuit against Cosby were unsealed and released to the public. In his testimony, Cosby admitted to casual sex, involving use of Quaaludes, with a series of young women, including an admission that his use of drugs in the 1970s was illegal.

In the wake of the allegations, numerous organizations have severed ties with the comedian, and previously awarded honors and titles have been revoked. Reruns of The Cosby Show and other shows featuring Cosby have also been pulled from syndication by many organizations. More than a dozen colleges and universities have rescinded his honorary degrees.

On December 30, 2015, Cosby was charged with sexual assault in Pennsylvania and a warrant for his arrest was issued. Cosby reported to court and was arraigned on the charge. On May 24, 2016, a Pennsylvania judge ruled that there was enough evidence for the case to go to trial. Cosby will remain free on $1 million bail until his trial. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years; the sentences could be served either concurrently or consecutively as determined by a sentencing judge, if Cosby is convicted.

Beyonce, Jay Z, Blue Ivy vacation In Italy

With a break from her FORMATION World Tour, Beyonce is still living it up with her husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy. The Carters have been making their rounds hitting up different cities in Italy for the last week or so. And now, they’re in Sardinia for some fun in the sun.

The Carters will continue their family vacay before Bey returns to her FORMATION World Tour on September 7th at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

Faith Evans Allegedly Went "Gangsta" On Concert Promoter  

According to promoter Jeremy Hill, Faith Evans got all “Gangsta” on him when he inquired as to why she would not be attending his September 10 event in favor of performing with the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour in Atlanta.

According to TMZ, Hill filed court documents requesting a judge to prevent Faith from performing at the Bad Boy Reunion show in Atlanta, in addition to his request Hill is suing Evan’s for $100,000 for canceling his September 10th concert at Wolf Creek Amphitheater.

Evans' reason for cancelling her performance, Hill claims was The Godfather movie quote, "It's not personal, it's only business."

Hill also claims that Live Nation forced Faith to back out of the September 10 concert so she could receive a total of $800k for performing with the Bad Boy tour.  Hill went on to reveal that Faith's agent texted him,  "I can't give up 25 dates for 1. I tried to work it out, she was going to do both shows but it's impossible."

Hill admits that Faith Evans offered to pay back his deposit, however he is still feeling some type of way.

Sometimes you just have to charge it to the game. At least she offered to pay him back.

Idris Elba’s crush on Meryl Streep

Idris Elba has a crush on Meryl Streep. The 43-year-old actor admitted he became so starstruck when he met the 67-year-old actress that he could barely speak.

Idris said, “My celebrity crush is Meryl Streep. When I met her, my tongue swelled up in my mouth!”

Idris also revealed that he looks for “patience and understanding” in a woman and he had his first girlfriend at the age of 11.

He told Us Weekly, “I met my first girlfriend at the age of 11. She was lovely. She wouldn’t let me kiss her, though.”

Idris’ close pal Tom Hiddleston is currently dating Taylor Swift, after the couple we introduced at the Met Gala and shared a dance, but Idris revealed he also danced with Taylor at the same bash.

He said, “I danced with Taylor Swift at the Met Gala, and Anna Wintour a couple of times, too.”

Meanwhile, Meryl may be Idris’ star crush but he is also the object of affection for a number of famous women, including Rebel Wilson.

The actress presented the award for Best Supporting Actor at the BAFTAs in February and started flirting with the Beasts of No Nation actor, telling the room full of A-listers how “nervous” he made her feel during her speech.

She said, “Sorry Idris Elba you’re making me a bit nervous, I’m just psychologically programmed to want chocolate on Valentine’s Day.”

The blonde beauty also got starstruck by the amount of good looking actors nominated, and joked that she was excited about “consoling the four losers.”

She quipped, “Five really attractive men have been nominated and I really look forward to congratulating the winner, although I’m looking forward even more to consoling the four losers.

RG3 divorcing as wedding-day his ‘secret texts’ re-emerge

Robert Griffin III’s four-year stint in Washington lasted longer than his marriage.

A league source confirmed to Cleveland.com the Browns quarterback and wife Rebecca Liddicoat are in the process of divorcing after being separated for several months. The former couple, who wed on July 6, 2013, are parents to Reese Ann Griffin, who was born in May 2015.

While teammates and coaches are said to be supportive of Griffin, his breakup with Liddicoat won’t be without a bit of controversy.

Griffin was accused of sending questionable text messages to one-time Hooters waitress Meredith Barber on his wedding day. Barber has re-emerged, and earlier this week, she reached out to Busted Coverage, asking the website to take down several stories detailing her alleged relationship with Griffin.

“It’s old news and I’m attempting to move on from that page/rumor in my life … I would really appreciate it,” Barber wrote in timing that now seems curious.

As the story goes, after Barber’s pal tweeted about the blond beauty crashing Griffin’s big day, Barber responded with a screen grab of a text exchange between her and an individual named “RgIII” on her phone.

“I could show Becky this though,” Barber added.

In the conversation, which was obtained by Busted Coverage, “RgIII” flashed his abs for the cameras after calling Barber “bae.” Though Barber reportedly tried to sell the website inappropriate photos of the quarterback, a pal of Griffin’s claimed her allegations were false.

“We both know that Meredith is looking for attention/money. I know this what you do for a living and thought that this would be a golden opportunity but the fact of the matter is that is completely false,” William Mallow told Busted Coverage. “I was with Robert the night in question, and there was zero texting of other girls, much less selfie stomach shots.”

Griffin has purged all traces of his estranged wife from his Instagram account. And the 26-year-old is focused on his football future during the demise of his marriage. The Heisman Trophy winner was named the Week 1 starter by Browns head coach Hue Jackson.

She’s touring the world in support of her new album The Pinkprint and Nicki Minaj is larger than life on the July 2015 cover of Cosmopolitan magazine.

The “Pink Friday” rapper pulls no punches when it comes to the bottom line- “Women are uncomfortable talking about money. I know it’s taboo to discuss it at work. Lil Kim AND HER Baby Daddy ARE Fighting for Custody of their Daughter?

There seems to be a parenting battle brewing between Lil Kim and her child’s father, Mr. Papers. As you know, Kim and what appears to be her now ex-boyfriend, share a daughter named Royal Reign.

According to an Instagram post by Mr. Papers (who is an aspiring rapper), there seems to be some parental drama taking place. This week, he posted a throwback of Royal Reign, hinting that he was lawyering-up. He wrote:

Since they began dating, Kim has remained tight-lipped about her relationship with Papers. In fact, most knew little about the couple.

Is Tidal In Danger of Losing Beyonce?

According to reports Sony is playing hard ball with Jay Z in negotiations to license Beyonce songs for the music streaming service Tidal.... 

A new article in Bloomberg Business Week claims Sony is asking for huge advances for permission to stream its artists' music, that includes Beyonce, and that a deal with Sprint and Softbank to cover the costs has fallen though.

So Jay Z Is Not Majority Owner Of Tidal? The Real Executive Clarifies! 

Ever since news reports broke in January that Jay Z’s S. Carter Enterprises subsidiary Project Panther put in a $56 million bid to purchase Aspiro, the Brooklyn-born businessman has become the face of Aspiro’s streaming service Tidal. Jay has defended his latest venture against constant criticism during a public appearance, on Twitter, and at his B-Sides concert in NYC.

Reports AllHipHop: While Jay did announce he teamed with superstar musicians Beyoncé, Madonna, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Daft Punk, Alicia Keys, Usher, Rihanna, and seven other acts to re-launch Tidal as an artist-owned platform, many in the public have assumed Jay is the majority owner of the company. Tidal executive Vania Schlogel recently spoke with the Wallstreet Journal‘s Lee Hawkins about the service and Jay’s official role.

“The artist owners felt very passionately about the mission upon which Tidal is founded, and so the artists are equal owners in the company,” said Schlogel. “Jay’s capital that has gone in is at very – I would term it below market interest rate to support the company.”

Warrant Issued For Joe Budden’s Arrest, Skipped Court Date

While Joe Budden was busy getting his social media on, a judge was issuing a bench warrant for his arrest. The New Jersey rapper’s struggle stems from skipping a court date over his alleged assault of a girlfriend.

Reports TMZ:

No joke … Budden went A.W.O.L. for Thursday’s hearing in NYC. Far as we can see … he posted a few Instagram pics and tweeted some random crap that day, but just couldn’t make it to court.

Budden is accused of allegedly beating and choking his girlfriend last summer. The judge in the case immediately issued the bench warrant when he skipped the hearing.

We reached out to Budden’s lawyer, but much like the court … we’ve gotten no response.

The "EMPIRE" Cast are the FOCUS At FOX's "Performance Under The Stars" Event 

Over the weekend! LA residents witnessed an EMPIRE screening under the stars followed by Q&A with Cast and Executive Producers of the show. And yes.....Ms. Taraji P. Henson was there with all her fabulousness.

Ms. Henson rocked a classic little black halter mini-dress and studded stilettos coordinated by her stylist Wouri Vice. 

Grace Gealey struck a fab pose on the carpet.

Though she was relatively unknown before "Empire", Grace is turning her newfound fame into a money-making side hustle. Most recently, the Masters Degree holder starred as Jamie Foxx's love interest in his latest video "You Changed Me."

Breakout star Jussie Smollett looked very dapper and well put together.

Grammy-winning recording artist Estelle was there.  

You'll recall she also appeared on the series to perform "Conquerer" with Jussie.

During the event, they hit the stage to rock their single for the crowd.

Lee Daniels, who's currently shooting the Richard Pryor biopic, was on hand to discuss the show's success and how the scene between little Genis and Terrence Howard was inspired by his real life.

Venus Williams Hit With $3000 Fine For Skipping Press Conference

Tennis star Venus Williams just couldn’t seem to catch a break at the French Open. The 34-year-old was beaten on by fellow American Sloane Stephens in the first round of the tournament. Following the match, she was slapped with a $3,000 fine for skipping a mandatory press conference.

Williams lost 7-6 (5), 6-1 which meant she had failed to qualify for the quarter-finals in Paris. The 15th seeded at Roland Garros failed to show up to a press conference she was supposed to attend, and instead opted to issue a short statement — something that didn’t sit well with the people at the International Tennis Federation, who later went ahead and announced the decision to fine her.

After Williams hadn’t been announced for a full hour following her match, reporters were told that she had chosen to pass on the conference even after being told she could face a fine for the offense.

This isn’t the first time Williams has been fined for not attending a mandatory media event. In 2010, she and her sister, Serena, were each fined $4,000 after they decided not to show up for the press corps following a Wimbledon doubles match.

After her match with Sloane, Williams admitted that she really wasn’t the better person that day and said, “When you arrive at any tournament, you hope you will have a chance to work your way into the event, but I didn’t have that opportunity. She just played better than me today.”

This is Williams’ second opening defeat in just three years at the Roland Garros, and it is also the fifth time in the last 13 Grand Slam tournaments she’s participated in that she struck out in the first round. But in her defense, she has been a major champion seven times and was the oldest woman at this years’ meet!

George Clooney Divorce: George And His Wife Amal Alamuddin Sleeping In Separate Bedrooms?

George Clooney’s divorce from Amal Alamuddin seems to be right on track. The actor and human rights attorney tied the knot in a lavish Italian wedding back in 2014, and after less than a year of marriage, rumor has it they are on the verge of a divorce. George Clooney and Amal are perfect examples of why you should probably know someone longer than a year before you start planning a wedding – the couple can’t seem to agree on anything.

The June 8 edition of Life & Style Magazine’s cover features a story on George and Amal, and reveals that they are already sleeping in separate bedrooms! It’s a major warning sign when any couple begins sleeping in different bedrooms – but it is especially alarming because George and Amal are hardly ever together.

Between George’s grueling filming schedule, and Amal jet-setting between London and New York City for work, they are only together about a week out of a month. You would think that the few nights they do get to spend together, George and Amal would want to spend those nights in the same bed.

One of the main reasons George and Amal Alamuddin can’t seem to see eye to eye, is because Amal desperately wants to start a family and try to get pregnant. But, George is not on board and said in a recent interview that having kids wasn’t at the top of his list of priorities. That would definitely explain why the couple is opting not to sleep together – you can’t get someone pregnant if you aren’t even sharing a bed with them! Do you think George and Amal will last? Or will they wind up filing for divorce before the year is over?

Rob slammed his sister Kim Kardashian in Instagram and called her a “crazy bitch,” has been threatening to sue his own momager Kris Jenner, and selling stories to the tabloids about his family.

According to an exclusive report from Gossip Extra, Rob Kardashian checked in to a Palm Beach County, Florida drug and alcohol rehab center earlier this week for a 60-day in-patient program. An inside source dished to Gossip Extra that Rob was in “good spirits,” and optimistic about turning his life around. He also planned to start shedding some of the pounds he has put on by participating in a grueling exercise program during his stay at the facility.

Of course, Rob Kardashian’s momager Kris Jenner denies the claims that her son checked in to rehab – but do we really believe anything that Kris Jenner says? The 59-year-old KUWTK star has developed quite a reputation as a pathological liar. Remember, this is the same woman who denied reports that she and Bruce Jenner were getting a divorce, that Khloe and Lamar had broken up, and that Kylie was dating Tyga. And we all know how those stories turned out…

We are all for Rob Kardashian getting his life together – but we are a little disappointed that he won’t be exposing his family for the frauds that they really are anymore. Atlanta Falcons’ Prince Shembo Charged For Killing His Ex-Girlfriend’s Dog

The Atlanta Falcons need another dog killer in their legacy just like Roger Goodell needs another quarterly bonus, but that is allegedly what they have with their young linebacker Prince Shembo.

Correction: had with Prince Shembo. The organization decided to relieve him of his football duties once Gwinnett County Police charged the 23-year-old player with aggravated cruelty to animals, which is a felony. He reportedly killed his ex-girlfriend’s dog after it bit him on April 19.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Shembo was both tearful and remorseful when he learned of his fate with the law and the team.

“He didn’t mean to kill the dog,” his attorney Jerry Froelich told reporters outside the Gwinnett County jail and Shembo posted bond.

Unluckily for the hulking 250-pound athlete, this wasn’t a Rottweiler or rabid pit bull he offed with his karate kick. His ex-girlfriend Denicia Williams painfully found her tiny Yorkie named Dior unresponsive after she have left it in Shembo’s care. She later took it to Duluth Animal Hospital where it later died and the extent of its injuries was nothing short of shocking.

Police say the dog had a fractured rib, fractured liver, abdominal hemorrhage, thoracic hemorrhage, extensive bruising and hemorrhage in the muscles of her front leg and shoulders, head trauma, hemorrhage and edema in lungs, hemorrhage between the esophagus and trachea, and hemorrhage in the left eye with internal injuries. The official cause of death was blunt force trauma, per the necropsy report. Afterwards, the Falcons felt they had no choice.

“We are aware of the charges that have been filed against Prince Shembo,” the team said in a statement. “We are extremely disappointed that one of our players is involved in something like this. Accordingly, we have decided to waive Prince Shembo.”

A pair of bumbling JFK airport workers are out of a job and twelve pairs of the Nike KD 8 after being busted stealing them from a shipment and then attempting to auction them off on Instagram. As if police couldn’t put the two and two together.

Reports NYDailyNews: Two Kennedy Airport workers were busted for swiping a box of unreleased Kevin Durant “KD 8” basketball sneakers and then trying to sell them on Instagram, Queens prosecutors said Friday.

Calvin Nelson, 23, and Audley Russell, 47, are both facing grand larceny charges for the high-top heist of 12 pairs of sneakers — which are valued at $200 a pair — while they were en route from Taiwan to Ontario, Canada through Kennedy.

The two airport employees are accused of taking the box after it was unloaded from an Air China flight on May 9.

They then allegedly tried to hawk the footwear on an Instagram sales account @SNKR—BASE, claiming that the hot sneakers were “the real deal” and “dropping July.”

Cops tracked Nelson and Russell down through the Instagram account, which showed pictures of the stolen box and its serial number, authorities said.
