#MusicNews: Jeffrey Osborne Proves R&B Never Fades With New Album Worth It All
It’s been 13 years since the R&B world has had a taste of the musical stylings of Jeffrey Osborne. Now, after a brief trek into the genre of Jazz, Osborne is back with his trademark ballads.
What he did was come with a 12-song album, Worth It All, via Artistry Music. On the album, Jeffrey Osborne, 70, uses the music to reflect his 35-plus years of marriage. For the project, Osborne, who penned all the tracks, tapped such special guests as Gerald Albright on saxophone and Rick Braun on trumpet. There’s also a rainy night scenario song entitled “Work It,” co-written by his son, Jeffrey Osborne, Jr. But this new collection isn’t just Osborne trademark love ballads, there are some edgy up-tempos such as “Let a Brotha Know,” “Just Can’t Stand It” and “Stay the Way You Are.”
“I wanted this to be a real heartfelt album. My strength is singing R&B ballads; I am known for ballads, so it kind of took on that flavor, but I wanted to explore different relationships,” says Osborne. And of course, as not to disappoint, there are the signature ballads such as “The Greatest Night” and “Your Lover.”
One standout track is the title track, “Worth it All,” which takes on the challenges of going through the ups and downs of a long-term relationship. “Love is worth putting out a few fires every now and then,” says Osborne. “This is what that song is about.”

#HipHopNews: Rick Ross Sued For Allegedly Stealing "Maybach Music" Tagline
Rick Ross is being sued for allegedly copying his famous “Maybach Music” tagline from another rapper, according to TMZ.
Young Muhammad, whose real name is Ishaq R. Muhammad, claims he worked with Rozay on “Caprice Music,” a 2007 record on which Ross can be heard repeating the phrase. Muhammad claims this birthed the “Maybach Music” catchphrase the MMG boss has been using ever since — with no credit to him.
Ross released the JAY-Z-assisted “Maybach Music” in 2008 and launched his Maybach Music Group imprint in 2009, but Muhammad claims he trademarked “Caprice Music” in 2006.
In 2017, Muhammad threatened to sue Ross for intellectual property theft. Now, he’s followed through and also named Roc Nation in the suit. The case will go to small claims court since Muhammad is seeking a sum of $9,999.
Rozay and his team have yet to respond.
George Clooney ‘Recovering’ After Scooter Accident in Italy!
George Clooney has been released from an Italian hospital after being involved in a motor accident on Tuesday, July 10. The Oscar winner was thrown over the top of his scooter after being hit by a Mercedes while in Costa Corallina.
Clooney was doing 60 mph on his way to film his mini-series Catch-22 when a car suddenly pulled in front of him at 8:15 a.m. local time. He propelled over the car and his helmet hit the car’s windshield, cracking his helmet and shattering the glass.
“The driver immediately recognized he was responsible,” an Olbia police officer tells Us Weekly. “He turned the car without respecting the road laws. He was the first to call the emergency services and the police.” The driver was unharmed.
The 57-year-old star, meanwhile, suffered bruises and was transported to the Giovanni Paolo II hospital in an ambulance. His wife, British barrister Amal Clooney, rushed to the emergency room on learning the news and they later checked out at 10 a.m.
Clooney didn’t suffer any serious injuries, however, and will be monitored by hospital staff as an outpatient for the next 20 days. “George was treated and released from an Olbia hospital,” Clooney’s rep tells Us in a statement. “He is recovering at home and will be fine.”
Carabinieri officer Alberto Cicognani spoke to the actor following the incident. According to CNN, Clooney said that he was “fine” and that he would continue filming Catch-22 in a few days. He has been shooting the SKY TV show on the island for several weeks.
The Clooneys are renting in Sardinia this summer while the actor films nearby. (They also share a home at Lake Como with their 13-month-old twins, Alexander and Ella.)
The highway was briefly closed following the incident. Authorities are still investigating the situation.

The photo below was allegedly taken after Cordon sustained a savage beating from McCoy.
The disturbing image was accompanied by a number of appalling allegations from Mia:

"We did something nobody thought possible", says the man who led the rescue, as navy SEAL divers wonder whether it was a miracle.
All 12 boys trapped underground in Thailand have been rescued following the "largest, most complex cave rescue in history".
Eight boys had been brought out in two expeditions on Sunday and Monday, leaving a further four and their football coach to make the perilous journey back to the entrance on Tuesday.
Just before morning, it was announced that all 12 boys and their coach were safe.
"We did something nobody thought possible," the acting governor of Chiang Rai province, Narongsak Osatanakorn, said once the 18-day ordeal was over.
"I am so happy, I may not be able to thank everyone," the man who led the operation added.

Thailand's navy SEALs, who played a central part in the rescue effort, wrote on their Facebook page: "We are not sure if this is a miracle, a science, or what."
Payap Maiming, who helped provide food and necessities for rescue workers and journalists, was not in doubt, however.
"It's really a miracle," she said. "It's hope and faith that has brought us this success."

The boys, aged between 11 and 16, and their 25-year-old coach are now being assessed in hospital.
There are concerns they may have consumed contaminated water, while bird or bat droppings could cause infections.
The four boys rescued first are "well, they're up and about", Sky News' southeast Asia correspondent, Siobhan Robbins, said.
But two boys had "suspected lung problems which are being investigated," she added.
The group is "going to be kept in isolation for the next few days - possibly a week", she said.
While their parents have been able to visit them, they have been kept separate "through the glass because doctors are concerned".
Thailand's prime minister, Prayuth Chan-o-cha, said the boys were given anti-anxiety medication to help with their rescue.
Four Thai navy SEALs give a thumbs up as they leave the cave. The conditions in Thailand were "extreme", he said, adding: "If any people could execute this rescue successfully, it was our team of British divers.
"This has been a full blown international call out and leading divers from all over the world have been involved.
"This has been the largest, most complex cave rescue in history."

Is Bill Cosby On His Deathbed And Planning His Own Funeral?
Disgraced former TV dad Bill Cosby has been under house arrest after a jury found him guilty of three counts of indecent aggravated assault back in April, and now it looks like the 81-year-old’s health is starting to fail. Radar Online is reporting that doctors have given Cosby a “chilling death diagnosis,” and he is preparing for the end by rewriting his will and planning a grand funeral.
Insiders say that Cosby is cutting “traitors” out of his will, selling off family heirlooms, and inviting various celebrities to a $250,000 farewell party.
“Doctors are telling the family now is a good time for him to ‘get his affairs in order,’ which is code for ‘prepare to die!’” claims a source.
The insider adds that Cosby’s health has deteriorated since over 60 women accused him of drugging and sexually attacking them over multiple decades. They say that he is suffering from hemiplegic migraines, which is a rare condition that causes confusion, speech difficulties, vision problems, and temporary paralysis.
Cosby’s wife of 64 years, Camille, went to the couple’s Massachusetts farm after her husband’s conviction, and the source says that since she “ditched him,” Cosby is getting revenge by selling family heirlooms.
Ahead of his September 25th sentencing, the comic has fired his legal team, including Tom Mesereau, the attorney who got Michael Jackson cleared of child molestation charges. Insiders say that Cosby believes they let him down and he is angry. He has recently hired a new attorney – Joseph P. Green Jr.
A jury found Cosby guilty of drugging and molesting Temple University employee Andrea Constand back in 2004, and his conviction and impending sentencing have reportedly sent him into a tailspin.
Famous women’s rights attorney Gloria Allred says that Cosby’s change in lawyers looks to be an “act of desperation.”
The Cosby Show star is also planning to spend $250,000 for his July 12th birthday party, which will also be a final farewell. According to sources, he has invited Christopher Darden, the prosecutor in the O.J. Simpson murder case, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Phylicia Rashad, Whoopi Goldberg, Waka Flocka, and CeeLo Green. However, none of them have RSVP’d.
Mesereau says that Cosby’s conviction was a “travesty of justice,” and it is the result of the #MeToo movement. His former client is facing up to ten years in jail on each count at his September sentencing, but he is currently out on bail.
The lawyer also says that he believes Cosby’s trial was biased, and he has never seen anything like it in his career. He explained that the #MeToo movement started as something desirable – to stop sexual harassment, discrimination, and abuse against women. But while he commends those principles, Mesereau says that the movement has “gotten so powerful that judges are running scared.”
Mesereau hopes that the court will reverse Bill Cosby’s convictions on appeal, and he also hopes that the comic “doesn’t spend one minute in jail because he doesn’t deserve to.”

Demi Lovato Fires Manager, Raises Concerns About Sobriety
Demi Lovato may have just given fans yet another cause for concern.
Just a few weeks after the beloved singer admitted to having relapsed, following six-plus years of sobriety, Lovato has gone ahead and taken an unexpected step in her professional life.
According to Radar Online, Lovato just fired her long-time manager, Phil McIntyre, doing so “in the middle of her tour" because, this insider says, “she wanted to go in a different direction and decided to completely severe ties with him.”
This move could be interpreted in multiple ways, of course.It may be a sign that Demi's downward spiral is not over yet.
McIntyre has been by Lovato's side for a lengthy period of time, overseeing a very successful music career, making many wonder why the artist would choose the aforementioned different direction.
Hadn't her career under McIntyre been headed in a very positive one?
But there's a flip side to this decision, as well. There's a more positive way to look at Demi's move.
She clearly laments having fallen off the wagon and, we sincerely hope, is looking to get right back on it again.
She wants to live a clean life and is "focused on surrounding herself with positivity and accountability," as the Radar Online source describes it.
Neither Lovato nor McIntyre has acknowledged the rumors of their split, but it comes not long after Lovato also cut ties with her rehabilitation and recovery business, CAST Center.
"They are in a bitter dispute over money and branding," a source told Radar.
Darn. This makes us feel terrible for Lovato.
Cam Newton And Girlfriend Welcome Their Third Child
Congratulations to Cam Newton and Kia Proctor on the arrival of their third child. Kia took to social media to announce the birth of her and Cam’s newest family member this past weekend.
“Welcome to the world, baby boy,” Proctor wrote. Kia date-stamped her post so that her followers knew that her son was born on July 6, 2018. The official Twitter page for the Carolina Panthers also spread news of Cam and Kia’s family expansion. “Congratulations to Cam and his family on their newest addition,” the team tweeted.
The public learned of Kia Proctor and Cam Newton’s expectancy of a third child back in March. Many fans were shocked to learn that the celebrity couple was getting ready for another child since Kia had recently given birth to her and Can’s daughter, Sovereign-Dior Cambella Newton. It was in 2015 that Kia and Cam welcomed their son, Chosen.

Kevin Hart & Mike Epps BEEFING AGAIN On Social Media
Just when you thought they had moved past the foolishness, Kevin Hart and Mike Epps were going at it again over who’s the funnier comedian.
Comedy Hype poured kerosene on the smoldering fire when they posted a headline on social media that read, “Mike Epps Thinks Everyone Is Funnier Than Kevin Hart.”
Mike saw the post and commented, “That’s not press worthy gtfoh now post that!!”
It appeared as though Eppsie was telling the outlet to stop stirring the pot.
Kevin, on the other hand, took a deep dive into his feelings and went in on Mike Epps calling him a “sad individual” with a “crabs in a barrel mentality.”
He went on to tell Mike how “sick” he’s going to be when he sees all of the big plans he has coming up next year.
