#RHOA: NeNe Leakes’ Son Bryson Bryant Served Papers After Child Support Lawsuit
The legal trouble keeps on rolling in for NeNe Leake’s son, Bryson Bryant. Last month, we shared that he pleaded not guilty in a felony fentanyl possession case. Now, he just got served papers over thousands of dollars of unpaid child support.
Radar Online reports the details of the latest in the ongoing saga between Bryson and the mother of his son Blaze. The mother’s name is Symone Davis (her legal name is Erin), and she filed a lawsuit claiming that Bryson hadn’t been paying his fair share for their little one. Allegedly, he was supposed to pay $708 every month starting on August 1, 2020. She said that hasn’t been happening, further, she wants Bryson to face punishment for his negligence.
Symone wants her money ASAP. In Symone/Erin’s lawsuit, she made it very clear how Bryson dropped the ball with his child support payments. She said she considered legal recourse for nearly a year before finally pulling the trigger. After nearly four years of no payments, the amount he allegedly owes comes up to nearly $30,000.
Previously, Bryson asked the courts to lower his monthly child support obligation. However, it was determined that the $708 monthly payment was the lowest possible payment. Raising a kid isn’t cheap.
It’s not clear if Bryson is currently employed. We do know that he spent three months in jail over his fentanyl case before eventually being able to scrounge up $6,100 for bond. If that’s any evidence of his financial status, this child support bill is nothing to scoff at.
In the court docs, Symone said that Bryson was “able to perform” his child support obligations. She alleged that he’s just simply refusing to cooperate. For that reason, she wants the courts to send him to jail in addition to making him pay.
In the lawsuit, Symone and her legal team said, “The Respondent should be held in contempt and incarcerated for failure to comply with the Court’s Order.”
For Blaze’s sake, we’re hopeful that the courts can determine a peaceful way to get this situation sorted out. In the meantime, NeNe has remained uncharacteristically quiet about her kid’s legal trouble. She admitted that she’s grown “numb” to his addiction problems, but she said he’s hopeful he can grow through rehab and counseling.

#MusicNews: Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ Is Lassoing straight to No. 1 in The U.K.
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter won’t be caught in the U.K. chart race. Based on midweek sales and streaming data published by the Official Charts Company, Cowboy Carter (via Columbia/Parkwood Entertainment) is outselling rest of top 5 combined.
The U.S. superstar’s eighth studio LP, Cowboy Carter is all set to become Bey’s fifth solo leader in the U.K., following Dangerously In Love (from 2003), 4 (2011), Lemonade (2016) and Renaissance (2022). As a member of Destiny’s Child, alongside Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, Beyoncé owns another No. 1 with 2001’s Survivor.
Queen Bey could lasso a chart double, as Cowboy Carter cut “Texas Hold ‘Em” eyes a return to No. 1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, for what would be a fifth non-consecutive week at the top.
British shoegaze champions Ride could nab a career-best chart position with Interplay (Wichita Recordings), their seventh studio set. Interplay bows at No. 2 on the Official Chart Update, and should become the band’s fourth top 10 entry, alongside 1992’s Going Blank Again and 1994’s Carnival Of Light, both of which peaked at No. 5; and 2019’s This Is Not A Safe Place (No. 7).
Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts (Geffen) should grab the glory with a top three finish, thanks to the release of the deluxe “Spilled” edition. The one-time U.K. chart champion, Guts lifts 4-3 on the chart blast.
Canadian punk-rock outfit Sum 41 is eyeing a top 10 debut with Heaven :x: Hell (Rise Records), their eighth and final studio album. It’s predicted to start at No. 10, for Sum 41’s second top tier effort and highest charting record since their 2001 debut All Killer, No Filler hit No. 7.
Finally, new releases from While She Sleeps (Self Help at No. 18 via Spinefarm), BTS’s J-Hope (Hope On The Street Vol.1 at No. 20 via BigHit Entertainment) and Sheryl Crow (Evolution at No. 30 via Big Machine) are heading for top 40 berths.
All will be revealed when the Official U.K. Albums Chart is published this Friday, April 5.
#HipHopNews: GloRilla And Megan Thee Stallion Tease New Music Collaboration: "We Getting Activated!"
Ahead of their highly anticipated show run, GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion are dropping a new song together. It’s expected to appear on the Memphis artist’s Ehhthang Ehhthang this Friday (April 5).
The Houston native shared a clip of the two in what appeared to be the studio. “I’m thick as hell. I gotta get that a**,” GloRilla stated before turning her rear to the camera. The brief teaser subsequently transitioned to the pair behind the scenes of their forthcoming visuals.
“Too thick,” Megan captioned the video. “We getting activated.” Although the song’s title was not yet confirmed at the time of reporting, the record will seemingly contain a sample of Soulja Boy’s smash hit “Pretty Boy Swag,” as suggested by the instrumental behind their vocals.
“Between this and the Sexyy Red song, Soulja Boy really is a legend,” wrote one user, referring to the rapper’s recent cameo in “Get It Sexyy.” Another person commented, “Oh, y’all want me CUTTING UP this summer!” A separate reply with over 4,000 likes read, “The South is coming to save the summer.”
GloRilla will be a supporting act on Megan’s “Hot Girl Summer Tour” beginning in May. The trek will visit major cities like Chicago, Detroit, New York, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Memphis, Atlanta, Houston, and more. According to Roc Nation, 15 of the stops were already sold-out as of March.
Last week, Megan also spoke with Adweek about her numerous brand partnerships, her recent distribution deal with Warner Music Group, and navigating the industry. “As a businesswoman, I’ve learned you don’t have to take no for an answer,” she shared. “Sometimes in this industry — especially being a woman, especially being a Black woman — people don’t even present you with all of your options. They don’t even tell you everything that you could get.”
Philly’s Made in America festival is canceled again this year
This announcement comes after the festival was canceled in 2023 due to "severe circumstances outside of production control."
The Made In America festival will not take place along the Ben Franklin Parkway in 2024, according to a statement posted online Wednesday.
“Since its inception, this groundbreaking festival has celebrated music & community – from creating a space for fans to connect, to uplifting local small businesses & shining a light on important causes. It has strived for accessibility, eliminating barriers through affordable tickets and locations,” the statement said.
“As purveyors of that charge, the Made In America executive production team is reimaging a live music experience that affirms our love and dedication to music and the work we do. We promise an exciting return to the festival.”
A date for the 2024 festival had not been set.
This announcement comes after the festival was canceled in 2023 due to “severe circumstances outside of production control.”
Made In America 2023 was set to have Lizzo and SZA as the headliners.
Since rapper Jay-Z launched the event in 2012, it pumped $180 million into the city’s economy.
Lizzo Accused Of "Seeking Attention" By Harassment Accusers' Attorney After "I Quit" Post
People seemingly don’t know how to leave Lizzo alone. Her recent announcement of possibly leaving the music industry due to ongoing negativity drew sharp criticism from Ron Zambrano on Monday (April 1), a Los Angeles attorney representing former backup dancers in a lawsuit against the singer.
“It’s a joke that Lizzo would say she is being bullied by the internet when she should instead be taking an honest look at herself,” Zambrano stated online. He further accused the “Special” hitmaker of “seeking attention” and deflecting from her “own failings.” Additionally, the professional labeled her legal and public relations efforts as unsuccessful and accused her of playing the victim.
Zambrano continued, “No one actually believes she is quitting music. But she should quit sexually harassing, shaming, and bullying her employees and finally accept responsibility for her actions. She can make all of this go away simply by seizing the opportunity here to set an example, own up to her mistakes, pay what’s due to those she’s wronged, and work on becoming a better person.”
A spokesperson for the Houston native told Billboard, “Ron has started making wild personal attacks that have absolutely nothing to do with the clients who he is supposedly representing. We would humbly recommend that Ron start representing his clients and stop representing just himself.”
The backlash followed Lizzo’s Instagram post in late March, where the Grammy winner expressed her personal challenges and hinted at stepping back from her career. The controversy involving Zambrano stemmed from a lawsuit filed by former dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez.
In 2023, the trio accused Lizzo and her team of sexual harassment, weight-shaming, racial discrimination, and creating a toxic work environment. In December, the artist requested for the case details to be sealed after its dismissal was denied.
On the music side, Lizzo has kept a relatively low profile. She released Special in 2022, which housed surefire cuts like “About Damn Time” and “2 Be Loved (Am I Ready).” The following year saw her contribute “Pink” to Barbie The Album.
Christian Combs, Diddy’s Son, Accused Of Sexually Assaulting And Drugging Woman In Looming Lawsuit
Christian Combs is reportedly being named in a looming lawsuit accusing the rap star of sexually assaulting and drugging a woman.
The lawsuit against Combs, the son of embattled rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, has yet to be officially filed, but is currently in the works, according to attorney Tyrone Blackburn. The identity of Combs’ alleged victim has yet to be revealed and details surrounding the reported lawsuit are sparse.
While Combs has yet to address the allegations directly, he recently shared a post on social media that read “stop the [blue cap emoji],” although he didn’t give context to what or whom he was referring to.
The rapper, who performs under the stage name King Combs, has been romantically linked to multiple women during his time in the spotlight. Combs dated his ex-girlfriend, Breah Hicks, for several years, and is currently dating model Raven Tracy, who recently got Christian’s name tattooed on her body.
The claims made against Combs have been described as serious and thrust him into the vortex of shocking claims surrounding his father, as Diddy has been hit with several lawsuits in recent months accusing him of sexual assault, sex trafficking, drug abuse, and more.
Blackburn — who has previously represented clients in litigation against celebrities such as T.I. and Tiny, as well as Nicki Minaj and Kenneth — is also the attorney for Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, the producer who filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs earlier this year.
Last month, Homeland Security conducted raids of Diddy’s properties in California and Miami, during which Christian and elder brother Justin were detained and later released following the investigation.

The cosmetics company will officially expand into China and parts of India, per HYPEBAE.
“I’m living my dream,” explained the 36-year-old to VOGUE China according to Billboard. “My parents were very proud of that because they just wanted me to be happy and successful. So, I think the key thing is to find some kind of balance. Yes, balance is important. Do this and you get the best of both worlds. You can write your own life the way you want, and it will be beautiful. Sometimes, you just need to let go of everyone’s expectations and start living your own story.”
Steve-O Calls Out Bill Maher For Refusing To Accommodate His Sobriety For Podcast Interview
Steve-O shared that he almost appeared on Bill Maher's "Club Random" podcast. The "Jackass" alum revealed that the reason why the deal didn't go through had something to do with his 16-year sobriety.
"I'm a clean and sober guy. It's very important that I maintain my sobriety," Steve-O said in an episode of his podcast "Wild Ride!". "I am about to be sweet 16. Really, there's nothing that I value more than my sobriety, and there's nothing more that I protect than my recovery."
According to Steve-O, Bill approached him for an interview on his show, on which he regularly smokes marijuana while chatting with guests. While Steve-O was excited by the offer, he asked if Bill could forgo smoking pot during their interview. Bill, however, turned down the request.
"I found it kind of upsetting when the Bill Maher podcast reached out - and his thing is he smokes pot the whole time while he interviews people - I said I'd happily go on there," he divulged. "But while I'm on, out of respect for my sobriety, could he refrain from smoking pot? He said, 'No, that's a dealbreaker.' "
Steve-O admitted that he was shocked by the response because so far other podcast hosts agreed to respect his sobriety despite being a marijuana enthusiast. "Mike Tyson's podcast is called 'Hotboxin'," Steve-O said. "Be real! All of these prolific potheads, I've been on their shows and it wasn't so important to them to blow marijuana smoke in my face, but for Bill Maher it was a dealbreaker."
However, it should be noted that Bill actually didn't have a problem respecting his guest's boundaries for marijuana in the past. In a "Club Random" episode featuring Sheryl Crow, the host told the guest, "That's when I need a joint … but I'd never light one up in front of you."
Kanye West Accused Of Wanting To Install Jail At Donda Academy In New Lawsuit
Kanye West has been dragged to court by a former Yeezy and Donda Academy employee. The "N***as in Paris" hitmaker was accused of wanting to install a jail at his school to "cage" students, threatening to punch the plaintiff during a "temper tantrum," as well as giving preferential treatment to white employees.
Filing the lawsuit was a man named Trevor Phillips. In the legal docs submitted on Tuesday, April 2 in Los Angeles, Trevor detailed Ye's alleged treatments towards his employees, including spontaneous firings and a late-night summons to Nobu.
Since started working in November 2022, Trevor, who is Black, claimed it was "immediately apparent" that Ye "treated the Black staff considerably worse than white employees." The emcee allegedly would "scream and berate Black employees, while never even as much raising his tone at the white staff."
Trevor went on to note that Ye continued to "double down" his antisemitic remakrs following his fallout with Adidas and GAP. In addition, Ye reportedly threatened to go after the LGBTQ+ community "next" because "gay people are controlled by Bill Gates so that they don't have children for population control."
The plaintiff also said the ex-husband of Kim Kardashian once told two Donda Academy students that he wanted them to "shave their heads and that he intended to put a jail at the school - and that they could be locked in cages." He said he tried to push back the musician's "bigotry," but the artist "responded mercilessly, with incessant harassment, humiliation, and attempts to both mentally control, and destroy, Phillips."
Trevor said he was actually hired work for the fashion line Yeezy. However, he was also assigned to handle works at the private school because the continued criticism over Ye's antisemitic comments and the "White Lives Matter" shirt controversy.
Unfortunately, according to the suit, Trevor was expected to be on call 24/7 for his all-encompassing role. He also made far less than the promised pay of $100 per hour, which were delayed after the Yeezy bank accounts were frozen.
Trevor claimed his relationship with Ye had soured by May 2023 after several misunderstandings, culminating in Ye throwing a "temper tantrum" and threatening to punch him. He pleaded with the rapper to not fire him because his daughter and little brother both attended Donda and that he was in the midst of an undiagnosed medical condition, but Ye couldn't care less and allegedly began another tirade.
Travis' work with Ye ended in August 2023. He is now seeking at least $35,000 for what he labels as whistleblower retaliation, discrimination based on race and a hostile workplace, among eight other causes of action.

Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital’s doors will be open for the foreseeable future. ABC has renewed its long-running Grey’s Anatomy for Season 21, TVLine has confirmed.

Kevin Hart Says A Tasha K Show Affiliate Tried To Shake Him Down For $250,000 In Exchange For Not Publishing Interview In Bombshell Filing
Comedian Kevin Hart has had a long and wildly successful career, but he's also had some legal shakeups during his time as a public figure. The most recent controversy he's dealing with is related to a lawsuit Hart filed against a former assistant over comment she made about him on an interview by Tasha And now he Says a Tasha K Show affiliate tried to shake him down for $250,000 in exchange for not publishing the interview. Let's break it all down.
Hart's issue is with a former employee named Miesha Shake, who reportedly worked for this company from 2017 to 2020. While appearing on Tasha K's show, she claimed the Jumanji actor had an affair, as well as a gambling addiction. And a new report by Radar Online indicates that he's suing for extortion as a result of the drama.
The 44 year-old comedian/actor claims that a representative from Tasha K reached out to his team before the explosive interview was published. He said they asked for a whopping $250k, which would result in the viral video not going up. As we all know, that's not how things ultimately shook out.
In this new filing Hart once again denies the claims made by Shake on the show, including her claim that he filmed a sexual encounter of hers. He was quoted, saying:
I did not record any such video, and I have never been criminally charged with doing so.
In the end Hart didn't pay the alleged ransom, resulting in the explosive interview circulating around online. And in the lawsuit against his former employee, Hart claims information that Miesha Shakes procured was done so illegally. In the same filing he's quoted saying:
I understand from speaking with my security personnel, and Shakes admitted during the interview, that Shakes obtained some of the information she discussed in the interview by covertly listening through the walls, with her ear to the wall, to private interactions occurring behind closed doors at our offices.
The stakes certainly feel high here, given the allegations made by both Hart and Shakes. We'll just have to wait to see how the legal situation plays out, and if it makes as many headlines as other celebrity lawsuits like Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's defamation trial.
Of course, Hart has had a few other controversies over the years. Comments about his cancelled Egyptian show landed him in hot water years ago, and Hart has battled cancel culture before. Only time will tell if his legal battle with Shakes will end up having an affect on his career as a comedian and actor.
Rihanna, JAY-Z, LeBron James, and more complete ‘Forbes’’ celebrity billionaires list for 2024
Sports and entertainment are undoubtedly lucrative industries. While many people’s lives can virtually change overnight, some of the richest celebrities have unsurprisingly been in the game for decades.
Forbes revealed its World’s Celebrity Billionaires list, which included names like JAY-Z, Rihanna, LeBron James, and Oprah Winfrey. Other familiar faces on the bill included Tiger Woods, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and Tyler Perry.
Trailing behind George Lucas and Steven Spielberg at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, Jordan’s estimated net worth was $3.2 billion. Although he first landed on the index in 2015, his partnerships with businesses — such as Nike’s Jordan Brand — and the August 2023 sale of the Charlotte Hornets helped propel him further.
Meanwhile, JAY-Z sold a 50 percent stake in his champagne brand, Armand de Brignac, to LVMH in 2021 for at least $300 million. In 2023, Bacardi reportedly purchased a majority stake in D’Usse for $750 million. To add to that, the music magnate also invested in companies like Uber and Block, which notably owns Cash App and Afterpay. The New York rapper and entrepreneur’s net worth was estimated to be $2.5 billion.
Rihanna, who is recognized as America’s youngest self-made billionaire, secured spot No. 9. She and Winfrey were the only Black women on the list. The Bajan songstress’ cosmetics business, Fenty Beauty, and lingerie line, Savage X Fenty, helped contribute to her approximate $1.4 billion in assets.
“It’s tricky because it’s hard to even accept that’s where you’re at because I know where I’ve come from,” she told The New York Times in 2021. “At the same time, it feels good to be able to inspire young women and boys, who like me, come from humble beginnings, who come from parents who are immigrants or who are immigrants themselves, to be able to do this.”
Falling not too far behind RiRi were James and Johson with an estimated net worth of $1.2 billion.
Flavor Flav Denies He's Working on 'Flavor of Love' Reboot, Shuts Down Report
Flavor Flav is shooting back at a report claiming that he’s involved in a Flavor of Love reboot.
Bunim/Murray Productions president Julie Pizzi spoke to Deadline about the shows being developed by the production company right now.
“We’re in the process of working with Flavor Flav to reimagine what Flavor of Love can feel like in this in this decade, which is very different. The project is really fun, a comedy in the dating space,” she said.
Deadline added, “Flav will not, however, be doing the dating this time around but will be part of the process.”
Now, Flav is speaking out to deny the report.
“An article was published this morning in Deadline about me that is a complete lie. I am NOT involved with a Flavor of Love reboot and have no interest,” he said. “I am partnered with a new production company and together are developing concepts that highlight where I am now as a person vs where I was.”
He added, “You can’t get to the next chapter by staying on the same page. This clock round my neck is moving forward, not backwards.”
Flav‘s manager added in an exclusive statement to JustJared.com, “Flavor Flav has never spoken with Julie Pizzi and is not familiar with her name. Flav has personally reached out to 51 Minds and asked them to have the article taken down and his team has reached out to the reporter at Deadline to make him aware of the inaccuracies.”
Joaquin Phoenix dips Lady Gaga in haunting “Joker: Folie á Deux” poster: 'The world is a stage'
Phoenix returns as the Joker, while Gaga takes on the role of Harley Quinn in the sequel to the Oscar-winning 2019 blockbuster.
It seems that Joaquin Phoenix's Joker has met his wild match in Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn, as the villainous pair dance a haunting jig in the new Joker: Folie à Deux movie poster.
The first one-sheet teaser for the upcoming sequel to 2019's Oscar-winning DC blockbuster Joker dropped online Tuesday, one week ahead of the movie's planned trailer release on April 9.
"The world is a stage," the poster's tagline reads just above an image of Phoenix — holding a burning cigarette in his hand — dipping Gaga backwards as they dance under a bright spotlight.
The image also shows smeared red lipstick over Gaga's face, indicating that she might've smooched it off the face of Phoenix's Joker.
Director Todd Phillips returned to direct the sequel to his Academy Award-winning hit, which sees the Joker navigating a relationship with Gaga as famed villainess (and reported Arkham Asylum psychiatrist) Harley Quinn. The film is reported to contain musical elements, as both Phoenix and Gaga were spotted filming outdoor scenes in early 2023 that involved song-and-dance routines.
In February, Phillips shared a series of images teasing the central couple's relationship, including a shot of them dancing on a Gotham City rooftop, with a fantastical sky — complete with toy-like buildings and a cartoonish moon — framing them from behind.
In 2023, cinematographer Lawrence Sher said that Gaga (born Stefani Germanotta) didn't at first connect with him on set, though he later learned it was because of her commitment to Method acting to get into the part.
Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn in 'Joker: Folie à Deux'
"The [assistant director] at one point said, 'Oh, you know, Stef would like if you just called her Lee on set', and I was like, 'Oh, 100 percent,' and… the next thing I said was something 'Lee,' and it was like everything changed," he told The Trenches podcast. "From that point on it was like our whole connection changed. I was like, all right, cool, that's all I need to know. That changed everything. Then we made the rest of the movie, and it was much more of connection."
The film follows the legacy of the first Joker film, which grossed over $1 billion at the global box office atop scoring a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars at the same ceremony Phoenix won Best Actor for his leading performance.
Joker: Folie à Deux releases Oct. 4 in theaters via Warner Bros.
Trump’s Media Stock Plummets, Dropping His Net Worth By $1 Billion
For those who swear by Trump being so great for the American economy, here’s something for your bingo card today. His shares of Truth Social just plummeted. That’s his social media app, with the ironic name that he owns and uses to regularly rage over, well, anyone that stands in his way, starting with the “radical liberals” and the witch-hunting ‘insert prosecutor’ in any of his criminal cases.
Here’s how it all went down, quite literally. CNN reported that Trump Media & Technology Group just disclosed that it lost more than $58 million and only generated very little revenue in 2023, like $4.1 million for the entire year. Comparatively, the same company allegedly profited $50.5 million in 2022.
Now, as you can imagine, the former president is the majority shareholder of Trump Media & Technology Group. Hence, after the financial disclosure, his net worth is nose-dived by more than $1 billion today. Donald Trump owns a majority stake of 78.8 million in the newly public company. But the revenue has been in a tailspin, dropping 39% “year-over-year in the fourth quarter to just $751,500,” as CNN reports. That is pretty scary; investors never want to see that from any start-up.
The disclosures of the significant losses are so drastic that Trump Media’s accountants warned they “raise substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern,” which can be taken as Wall Street jargon for: We may not be able to stay in business. One can only hope … they figure it out. Wink. Wink.
World Autism Month: A Time for Awareness, Acceptance, and Action
April is a pivotal month dedicated to raising awareness and fostering understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as we observe World Autism Month. This global initiative is a time for individuals, communities, and organizations worldwide to come together in a unified effort to promote acceptance, inclusion, and appreciation for the varied experiences of those living with autism.
Autism is a complex developmental condition that influences how a person perceives the world and interacts with others. It includes a broad spectrum of traits, strengths, and challenges, underscoring the uniqueness of each individual’s experience. While some on the autism spectrum may encounter challenges in social communication and sensory processing, others excel remarkably in fields like art, music, mathematics, and technology.
The primary aim of World Autism Month is to enhance understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity. The concept of neurodiversity recognizes the value in having different neurological experiences and questions the idea of a standard neurological “norm.” By embracing neurodiversity, we can progress towards a society that better accommodates everyone’s needs, celebrating cognitive differences rather than perceiving them as deficits.
World Autism Month is not just about raising awareness; it’s also a call to action for advocacy and change. Advocates and allies tirelessly promote policy reforms, fundraise for autism research, and amplify the voices of those with autism and their families. Through both grassroots initiatives and digital campaigns, the goal is to forge a more inclusive and fair world for people of all neurocognitive backgrounds.
This World Autism Month, let’s renew our commitment to building a society where every person is valued, accepted, and empowered. By embracing neurodiversity, including all, and advocating for positive change, we can celebrate the unique strengths and contributions of those with autism every day. Together, we can work towards a future that’s more inclusive and compassionate for everyone.
