#FRAGRANCEFABULOSITY: Aaron Judge Fronts Ralph Lauren Polo 67 Fragrance Ad
Aaron Judge, the respected New York Yankees captain, exudes the confidence of a true champion in the new campaign for Ralph Lauren’s Polo 67 Eau de Toilette. Set against the backdrop of America’s favorite pastime, Judge’s commanding presence captures the essence of Polo 67—a fragrance that celebrates the boldness of those who dare to pursue their dreams

The Polo 67 ad portrays Judge as a passionate athlete, mirroring Ralph Lauren’s dedication to creating distinctive scents. “In both the world of sport and the world of fragrance, it’s passion that sets things apart,” shares Ralph Lauren. “Aaron Judge’s genuine love for baseball embodies what I most believe in—a commitment to excellence and the art of doing what you love.”

Throughout the Polo 67 advertisement, Judge’s powerful stance and focused gaze reflect the strong, woodsy, and citrusy notes of Polo 67. His white tee, classic denim, and the clean lines of the Polo cap serve as visual metaphors for the fragrance’s straightforward appeal.
The campaign, deeply rooted in the tradition of American sports heroes, perfectly aligns with Judge’s image, exuding an athletic spirit as fresh and invigorating as the scent itself. It portrays determination and grit, much like the lasting heart of Haitian vetiver and sandalwood that anchors Polo 67’s base notes.

Polo 67, a woody and citrus fragrance, tells a story of dreams and determination through its olfactory layers. The crisp start of a new challenge is evoked by top notes of bergamot essence and a breezy aquatic accord.
Mid notes of pineapple, sunflower seeds accord, and clary sage essence mesh, symbolizing the bloom of potential. Inspired by sports heroes, Polo 67 marries the artistry of perfumery with the art of living your passion.

#RHOA: Peter Thomas VS Sukihana over Her Over the Top Antics?
Sukihana is no stranger to backlash and criticism. Moreover, this happens in the fast-paced world of social media. Every post has the potential to go viral and every comment can spark controversy. Furthermore, clashes between public figures are not uncommon. Recently, a heated exchange between rapper Sukihana and RHOA TV star Peter Thomas has captured the attention of fans and media outlets alike. It all began when Peter Thomas took to Instagram to share a reposted video of Sukihana. In the video, she was engaging in a provocative dance with a man who has one leg. In his caption, Thomas didn't hold back. He expressed his disgust and questioning the societal implications of such content.

"Like I said, let’s just bring in the one-legged man to show how disgusting we are, we all going to hell for shit like this," he wrote. "I wonder what that little girl looking at this video is gonna think?" Thomas's commentary immediately sparked a reaction from Sukihana. Moreover, she wasted no time in firing back. In a response posted on her own social media channels, Sukihana addressed Thomas directly. Moreover, she expressed confusion as to why he had chosen to involve her in his critique. "I'm not sure why this man decided to put my name in his mouth," she wrote. "But they should have told you a little bit more about me because I will get on your old a**."

The exchange between Sukihana and Thomas highlights a broader conversation about the role of social media in shaping public discourse. Sukihana is known for her bold and unapologetic persona. Moreover, she represents a new generation of artists who have leveraged social media platforms to build their brands and connect with fans directly. In contrast, Thomas, a veteran of reality television, comes from an era where fame was often more closely tied to traditional media outlets and celebrity endorsements. Furthermore, Thomas's criticism of Sukihana's video may have been rooted in genuine concern for societal values and the welfare of young viewers. However, Sukihana's response highlights her commitment to defending her artistic vision and free will as an artist.

As the drama between Sukihana and Thomas continues to unfold, it serves as a reminder of the power dynamics at play in the digital age. Social media platforms have become battlegrounds for public opinion. And where the lines between entertainment, activism, and personal expression are increasingly blurred.

#MusicNews: Janet Jackson Crashes Jimmy Fallon's “Tonight Show ”Monologue — and Gives Him an Impromptu Dance Lesson!

The singer helped Fallon learn the 'Rhythm Nation' countdown after catching him "messing up" the choreography
On April 12, the pop icon, 57, stopped by The Tonight Show to crash Jimmy Fallon’s opening monologue, and the crowd went wild.

Fallon, 49, kicked off the Friday night episode by attempting Jackson’s iconic “Rhythm Nation” countdown and choreography — before the singer herself cut in.

As Fallon continued his impression of the performer, she emerged from the Tonight Show curtains and slowly snuck up behind the host, imitating his moves.
The crowd jumped to their feet to give Jackson a standing ovation, and Fallon, excited by the enthusiastic response, said, “Come on, now! That’s what I’m talking about!”

The host then attempted to ask the singer why she stopped by, but the crowd drowned him out with their cheering as Jackson grinned from ear to ear.
After several seconds, Fallon was finally able to get a word in, and asked the star, “Why did you grace us with your presence?”

Still smiling, the star revealed that she was in New York City to rehearse for the upcoming dates of her global Together Again Tour, which earned another enthusiastic round of cheering from the crowd.

“By the way, I want to thank everyone for making this the most successful tour to date in my career,” she added.
Telling Fallon about the 35 new summer dates — which she announced in January — the musician teased that there will be “new surprises” and “definitely new music” this time around.

She also asked the comedian why he was “out here messing up my stuff," before correcting his countdown choreography.
"I gotta teach you how to do this properly. Listen, and then I gotta get back to rehearsal,” she said, before jokingly instructing Fallon how to count down from five, grabbing each finger one by one.

And, as Jackson headed backstage, Fallon joked, “I’m never washing this hand again!”

#HipHopNews: DaBaby Denies Scamming YouTuber Lah Mike Out Of $20,000!
DaBaby landed in hot water on Sunday (April 14) after YouTuber Lah Mike accused him of running off with $20,000. The content creator claimed that he paid the “Suge” rapper to be in a video, but he walked off the set before completing it.
“I did everything I was supposed to do. Please don’t scam me, bro. This is my livelihood. This was supposed to be my blow-up video — my way out,” Mike wrote on Instagram. “How am I supposed to make it out if I lose all my videos? I’m 19, [bruh]. Please, God, why does everything have to go bad? I don’t even have a full video. I spent my last on that, and this happens?”

He continued, “Please don’t run off with my bag, please. I’ll fix whatever you need, bro. That was my last. This [was] my dream. I was working toward this just for it to be taken away from me again. Please come finish the video. Please don’t scam me, bro.” Mike also alleged that of the $20,000 given to DaBaby, half of it came from his grandmother.

DaBaby responded to the YouTuber’s claims via his Instagram Story. “You coulda went viral the right way [by] posting the video of me pressing yo’ [partner with] them big a** silver shorts on. That’s the type of s**t people wanna see, kid,” he shared.

The North Carolina artist continued, “Quit lying on ya granny and let these folks know yo’ entourage f**ked yo’ bag up. [You] need yo’ a** whooped.” DaBaby later uploaded two clips detailing the incident and offered to give the money to the 20 women who also participated in Mike’s video.
An associate of the content creator, rapper Tre Pierre, shared behind-the-scenes footage from the taping. He called DaBaby a “professional fart sucker,” causing the ladies to begin laughing. From there, the Grammy nominee took the camera from him, with the video being cut shortly after.

On the music side, DaBaby put out singles like “WONDER WOMAN” and “GRAMMY PARTY” this year. In 2023, he released “SHAKE SUMN,” which received a remix from Sexyy Red after going viral across social media.

Brandy “Can’t Believe” She’s Reprising Her Role As Cinderella In ‘Descendants’
The singer will star in Disney's upcoming movie. Decades after starring in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Brandy is once again stepping into the princess’s glass slippers. The “Vocal Bible” is set to star in Descendants: The Rise of Red as Cinderella, continuing the franchise that features the teenage progeny of iconic Disney heroes and villains. Admittedly, the 45-year-old singer and actress was surprised to be given the opportunity to return to the screen in one of her most memorable roles.

“I’m so excited because being Cinderella changed my life when I was a kid. So, to get a chance to play it again, it’s full circle,” the Never Say Never performer told VIBE during last week’s Stella Rosa event. “It just feels like, ‘Wow, I just can’t believe it’s happening.’ And it’s so surreal. Never would I have thought that 20 years later, I [would] be able to play Cinderella again with a whole new foundation, a whole new movie…It’s been great.”

Descendants: The Rise of Red also stars Rita Ora as the Queen of Hearts, Dara Reneé as Uliana, Ruby Rose Turner as Bridget/Young Queen of Hearts, Morgan Dudley as Ella/Young Cinderella, Joshua Colley as Young Hook, Peder Lindell as Morgie, Grace Narducci as Fay/Young Fairy Godmother, Jeremy Swift as Principal Merlin, Paolo Montalban as King Charming, and Leonardo Nam as Maddox Hatter.

China Anne McClain returns as Uma and the new principal at Auradon Prep. The musically driven film debuts on July 12, exclusively on Disney+, with a special encore on Aug. 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on the Disney Channel.
The official description of the film reads as follows:
“Descendants: The Rise of Red” follows Red, the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts, and Chloe, Cinderella’s perfectionist daughter. When the tyrannical Queen of Hearts incites a coup against Auradon, polar opposites Red and Chloe must join forces and travel back in time to undo the traumatic event that set Red’s mother down her villainous path.“

Beyoncé’s ‘COWBOY CARTER’ Spends Second Week At No. 1

Beyoncé reigns supreme on the charts for the second consecutive week. According to Billboard, the Houston musician’s latest offering, COWBOY CARTER, spends another week on top after debuting at No. 1 on the 200 chart.
The album earned 125,500 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending April 11, adding to first-week sales that brought the global music icon her highest streaming week ever. Remaining in the No. 1 spot for a second week gives COWBOY CARTER the most weeks at No. 1 for any Beyoncé album since her self-titled release in 2013.

COWBOY CARTER features Dolly Parton, Reyna Roberts, Tiera Kennedy, Brittney Spencer, Tanner Adell, Post Malone, Shaboozey, Miley Cyrus, Willie Nelson, and Linda Martell.
“I focused on this album as a continuation of RENAISSANCE…I hope this music is an experience, creating another journey where you can close your eyes, start from the beginning and never stop. This ain’t a Country album. This is a “Beyoncé” album. This is act ii COWBOY CARTER, and I am proud to share it with y’all!,” wrote the Grammy Award-winning performer of the work.

Remaining at No. 1, Queen Bey outlasted a surprise album from J. Cole titled Might Delete Later. The unannounced project boasts features from Ari Lennox, Bas, Central Cee, Young Dro, Gucci Mane, Cam’ron, Daylyt, and Ab-Soul.
The project also featured “7-Minute Drill,” a response to Kendrick Lamar after the Compton rapper targeted J. Cole and Drake on the song “Like That.” Since its release, the Dreamville rhymer apologized for the diss track and had it removed from streaming services.

“I was conflicted because, I know my heart and I know how I feel about my peers, these two n**gas that I’m blessed to even stand beside in this game and let alone chase their greatness. I felt conflicted because I know I don’t really feel no way. But the world want to see blood,” he said. “I moved in a way that, spiritually, I feel bad,” detailed the 39-year-old.

CBS Orders First Black Soap Opera ‘The Gates’ In Almost 3 Decades After Canceling 'The Talk'

CBS has given a green light to "The Gates", an upcoming black daytime soap opera. The new series, announced on Monday, April 15, will mark the first black daytime soap opera in 35 years.
According to the network, the planned series, which is a joint venture between CBS Studios and the NAACP, is slated to premiere in January 2025. Other details, including the exact launch date and casting, will be revealed at a later date

"The Gates" "follows the lives of a wealthy black family in a posh, gated community." Michele Val Jean ("The Bold and the Beautiful", "General Hospital") is on board as showrunner in addition to executive producing alongside president of the CBS Studios/NAACP venture Sheila Ducksworth, Leon Russell, Derrick Johnson and Kimberly Doebereiner.

Back in March, Ducksworth teased, " 'The Gates' will be everything we love about daytime drama, from a new and fresh perspective. This series will salute an audience that has been traditionally underserved, with the potential to be a groundbreaking moment for broadcast television."

"With multi-dimensional characters, juicy storylines and black culture front and center, 'The Gates' will have impactful representation, one of the key touchstones of the venture," she continued. "I'm excited to develop this project with CBS and P&G, two of the longest and most passionate champions of broadcast and daytime television, and the NAACP, whose enduring commitment to black voices and artists is both powerful and inspiring."

She added, "I also want to thank CBS' George Cheeks, NAACP's Derrick Johnson and P&G's Marc Pritchard for their personal involvement and support to take our next step forward with 'The Gates'."
"The Gates" will be the first black daytime show in almost 3 decades. The last black-themed daytime sudser was NBC's "Generations", which ran from 1989 to 1991. Meanwhile, CBS' decision to greenlight "The Gates" came after it pulled the plug on "The Talk" after airing for 14 years.

Denzel Washington looking dapper in a blue suit while shooting with Jeffrey Wright for new Spike Lee crime thriller film High And Low in NYC
Denzel Washinton, 69, looked handsome in a blue three-piece suit for his scene on the streets of
Jeffrey Wright, 58, was dressed more low-key in a blatracksuit for the day's shoot on Friday
Denzel Washington and Jeffrey Wright were spotted on the set of the new Spike Lee film High And Low shooting a scene along the streets of New York City on Friday

While Washington walks towards the car with a big beaming smile empty handed, he reappears and gets out from the backseat holding a large brown envelop.
It's also easy to notice that he doesn't have that same glowing smile on his face once he steps out of the car.
The busy day of shooting also caught Wright in action on the streets dressed in a black sweatsuit with a white t-shirt, black sneakers, a white beanie cap over his shaved head, while sporting a goatee.
The Basquiat star looked to be all business during his scene where he steps out of the passenger's seat seemingly in a hurry and then start making his move down the street.

The Washington, D.C. native would also be spotted in between shoots walking along the sidewalk with his phone in hand appearing to get mentally ready to do his next scene.
At one point, Wight flashed an infectious smile as he was making his way around a block seemingly chatting on his phone.

Lee, 67, would appear at various points offering up his thoughts on how he wants a particular shot to look dressed in a blue jacket with off-white pants, white glasses and a New York Knicks cap over his short hair.
He also had headphone around his neck to hear playbacks of the scenes they're working on this day.

The actor seemed to laugh while smiling before he decided to get into the vehicle
While days on the film set are typically long past an eight-hour shift, Lee did make sure he arrived on time for the Knicks game at Madison Square Garden against the Brooklyn Nets later that evening.

In fact, the acclaimed writer and director would be pictured flashing a peace sign and a smile while  being photographed sitting in his courtside seat.
And he had reason to be joyful as his beloved Knicks beat Brooklyn, despite a series of injuries to star players, in a close one, 111-107, behind Jalen Brunson's 28-points and 11-assists.

Just two days earlier, Apple Original Films shared a photo on X (formerly Twitter) of Lee and Washington both flashing a 'five' with their hands to represent that they are now working on their fifth film together.
The Oscar-nominated actor slowly walked away from the car in another angle of the scene
'No. 5 now in production,' it read in the caption of the April 10 post.
Previously, the duo worked on Inside Man (2006), Mo' Better Blues (1990), Malcolm X (1992), and He Got Game (1998).
That means High And Low marks the first film the pair have worked on together in about 26 years.
Directed by Lee, who's working from a screenplay he co-wrote with Alan Fox, the film is set for a theatrical release before entering the streaming world via Apple TV+

Along with Washington and Wright, the cast also includes Ilfenesh Hadera and Ice Spice.
Kurosawa’s original 1963 film starring Toshiro Mifune was based on the Ed McBain novel King’s Ransom, which tells the story of a businessman's ruin following a ransom payment to kidnappers.
The feature is being produced by Todd Black for Escape Artists and Jason Berman for Mandalay Pictures, according to Variety.

Lee will also serve as an executive producer through his 40 Acres And A Mule Filmworks, along with Peter Guber for Mandalay and Matthew Lindner, Chris Brigham, and Katia Washington for Juniper Productions.
So far, there hasn't been an official word on exactly when High And Low will premiere in theaters and the date that it will debut on Apple TV+

The movie will also be the acting debut for Grammy-nominated rapper Isis “Ice Spice” Gaston.

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Civil War’ Opens No. 1 With History-Making $25.7M for A24
The dystopian action pic shows America at war with itself just as Donald Trump battles to overtake Joe Biden and return to the White House.
Alex Garland‘s dystopian action movie Civil War conquered the domestic box office this weekend with $25.7 million, ahead of expectations and scoring A24’s biggest opening ever.

The $50 million movie about a divided America is a big swing for A24 as it tries to produce bigger movies, marking its most expensive production to date.
There are clearly split feelings about the film. Moviegoers only bestowed it with a B- CinemaScore, while PostTrack exits were mixed. The movie’s audience skewed heavily male, or 73 percent. Imax runs are a boon for the movie and contributed more than 16 percent of the gross.

Civil War follows a wartime photojournalist (Kirsten Dunst) and her colleagues as they make their way across a hostile United States of America that has been torn apart under the authoritarian rule of a three-term president (Nick Offerman). Yet the film shies away from red state/blue state divisions, and the politics behind the conflict are generally left unexplained, other than to say that one of the president’s first actions was to disband the FBI in an apparent nod to former President Donald Trump, who has called to “defund” the Bureau.

Civil War‘s timing surely isn’t a coincidence, as it hits cinemas amid a contentious election year in which President Joe Biden and former President Trump are once again the leading candidates for their respective parties and Trump seeks to return to the White House.

At a SXSW panel following the film’s premiere, Garland said it made sense to release Civil War now, although it’s not as if there is anything new about the contentious political discourse gripping the country.

With males flocking to see Civil War, Dev Patel’s action-laden pic Monkey Man met an unhappy fate in its second weekend, tumbling to No. 6 with $4 million for a 10-day domestic total of $17.6 million. It earned another $1.3 million overseas from 27 markets, for a global total of $22.8 million. Universal is releasing the movie via its deal with Jordan Peele’s Monkey Paw Productions.

Warner Bros. and Legendary’s hit movie Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire stayed a strong No. 2 in its third outing, grossing $15.5 million for a domestic total of $157.9 million and $436.6 million globally.
After that, grosses fell off notably, leaving year-to-date domestic revenue down 16 percent.

Sony’s Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire placed No. 3 in its fourth weekend with $5.8 million for a domestic total of $96.9 million and $160 million globally.
Now in its seventh weekend, Legendary and Warners’ Dune: Part 2 earned $4.3 million for a domestic cume of $272.3 million and a massive global haul of $683.9 million. Thanks to Dune 2 and Godzilla, Warners is the first Hollywood studio of the year to clear the $1 billion mark at the international box office.

Jelly Roll Sued by Pennsylvania Wedding Band Jellyroll over Alleged Trademark Infringement
Jellyroll band member Kurt L. Titchenell's lawyers claim he's been using the moniker since 1980 — four years before country star Jelly Roll was born
A jelly roll is a sponge cake rolled with sweet filling. It's also the name of a popular country singer — as well as a wedding band from Pennsylvania, who claims its trademark rights have been infringed upon.

In a lawsuit filed in federal court on April 8, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, lawyers for Jellyroll band member Kurt L. Titchenell are asking Jelly Roll (born Jason Bradley DeFord) to stop using the name, claiming the group first adopted the moniker around 1980 before obtaining a trademark in 2010 and renewing the paperwork in 2019.

According to the complaint, Jellyroll has been performing at "celebratory and charitable events" in the United States — first in the Delaware Valley and later throughout the Northeast — "since at least 1980."
The band's onstage appearances include two shows "at the White House for President George W. Bush and his family," claims the suit.

Jelly Roll was born in 1984 and has spoken about how his onstage moniker was given to him by his mom as a child. He began releasing music in the early 2000s, though the complaint claims he didn't adopt the stage name until about 2010.
Name recognition is a main concern for Titchenell and his band. "Prior to the Defendant’s recent rise in notoriety, a search of the name of Jellyroll on most search engines, and particularly Google, returned references to the Plaintiff," reads the suit.

"Now, any such search on Google returns multiple references to Defendant, perhaps as many as 18-20 references before any reference to Plaintiff’s entertainment dance band known as Jellyroll® can be found," adds Titchenell's legal team.
Per the complaint, Titchenell issued a cease-and-desist to "various email addresses believed to be associated with" Jelly Roll and his team, who responded at the time, "wanting to discuss" the situation.

"Several conversations ensued and at one point Defendant’s counsel inquired as to whether Defendant really was in competition with Plaintiff," writes lawyers for Titchenell.
The suit highlights Jelly Roll's upcoming Beautifully Broken Tour, which features dates in the Northeast including a show at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia — where much of Jellyroll's business has been conducted.
Titchenell's legal team claims Jelly Roll's use of the name is "creating confusion in the marketplace as to" which of the acts will be performing at a given event.

A rep for Jelly Roll did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
Since the release of his Ballads of the Broken album in 2021, Jelly Roll has risen to mainstream fame with hit singles including "Need a Favor" and "Save Me."
This year, he's won three CMT Music Awards and two iHeartRadio Music Awards — and received his first four nominations for the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards.

"I spent my whole life just thinking that what I was doing would never be heard or seen," Jelly Roll told PEOPLE in a recent interview. "I almost gave up on any dream of this thing ever being like it is now, and man, is it just incredible to be in the middle of it. I'm grateful."

Serena Williams Says She Would be ‘Super Interested’ in Owning a WNBA Team

Since evolving away from tennis, Serena Williams has become a prolific investor inside and outside the sporting world with stakes in soccer club Angel City FC and golf franchise Los Angeles Golf Club (LAGC) alongside her other ventures. And the 23-time grand slam champion told CNN’s Amanda Davies she is “super interested” in adding a WNBA team to her portfolio.

“I absolutely would be (interested). With the right market, I would definitely be super interested in that,” she said, acknowledging the “moment” that women’s basketball is having after a successful NCAA tournament that broke all kinds of viewing records.

The WNBA Draft takes place on Monday in which Caitlin Clark is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick is only sustaining that interest.
Even before she moved away from tennis, Williams’ company Serena Ventures had invested in 66 startups, including 16 unicorns – companies valued at more than $1 billion.

She has also sought to champion traditionally underrepresented entrepreneurs – 78% of the startups in which Serena Ventures had invested were started by women and people of color

And as an experienced investor, Williams says women’s sport is “an overly safe bet to me when it comes to investing.”
“There is no risk (factor),” she said. “Women’s sport is exciting, women are exciting to watch. What’s the difference? …  I think that even more people watched the college women’s basketball than the men. So I think that people are realizing that is exciting to watch.”

As well as investing in all these ventures herself, Williams has invested in her six-year-old daughter Olympia’s name, making her a part owner of both Angel City FC and LAGC.
Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian even posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Olympia is now the youngest two-team owner in professional sports, and that their then-unborn daughter Adira was also a part owner of LAGC.

“It’s how I was raised when I was young,” Williams said of her decision to invest in her daughters’ names.
“My dad made us open our own bank accounts and I’m talking like we were super young. Obviously, he and my mom had to co-sign, but we had $100,” she recalled. “We were literally five or less, and we understood the importance of ownership.

“And so I think that she … will always know the importance of being an entrepreneur, being an owner and the role that it’s going to play because believe me, she’s going to work for it as soon as she can … this isn’t free. She has to work for that. And I think she will embrace that.”

‘King Charles’ Dethroned: CNN Concludes Charles Barkley and Gayle King’s Show
*The reign of “King Charles” on CNN has reached its conclusion. Yep, the news giant is bidding farewell to what was supposed to be its prime-time gem featuring the dynamic duo of Charles Barkley and Gayle King, just shy of five months since its grand debut.

The curtains closed on the CNN limited series in its final episode last week, as the co-hosts shared heartfelt thanks for the dedicated team behind the scenes and exchanged warm compliments.
“I must admit, Charles, it’s been an absolute pleasure working alongside you. And something tells me, this isn’t our final act together,” King declared.

“Keep that phone handy, Gayle,” Barkley teased in response.
“To our viewers, until we meet again, whenever that may be, thank you for joining us over the past half-year. We’ve had a blast,” King bid farewell to the audience.

When CNN first unveiled the show last April, Barkley made it clear that it would steer clear of political divides. “We’re steering clear of labels like liberal, conservative, Republican, or Democrat. Those divisions have already tainted the airwaves,” he emphasized.
A CNN representative reiterated that the show was always intended as a limited series, with its final bow scheduled for spring 2024.

“King Charles has gracefully reached the conclusion of its scheduled run, as we announced from its inception last autumn. It proved to be a noteworthy addition to CNN’s lineup, capturing the attention of the youngest, most affluent, and most diverse audience within its cable news time slot,” the spokesperson affirmed.

Conceived by former CNN CEO Chris Licht, the program paired his ex-CBS News compatriot, King, with the renowned and outspoken Barkley to dissect the week’s events. Despite early episodes struggling to resonate with viewers, CNN proudly highlights the show’s appeal to a youthful, affluent, and diverse audience.

The FBI has initiated a criminal investigation following the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in Baltimore.
The investigation, which was first made public by the Washington Post, reportedly focuses on a 985-foot container ship known as the Dali.
Federal agents are scrutinizing potential violations of maritime law, particularly any awareness the ship’s crew might have had regarding technical or operational issues before departing the Port of Baltimore.

The investigation is delving into the events that led to the ship losing power and subsequently colliding with a support pillar of the bridge, as detailed by two U.S. officials to the Washington Post.
The FBI released a statement to Fox News Digital confirming their involvement: “The FBI is present aboard the cargo ship Dali conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity.”

They added, “There is no other public information available, and we will have no further comment.”
Erek L. Barron, the U.S. Attorney for Maryland, commented to the Post, stating, “My office generally will not confirm the existence of or otherwise comment about investigations. However, the public should know, whether it’s gun violence, civil rights abuse, financial fraud, or any other threat to public safety or property, we will seek accountability for anyone who may be responsible.”

This federal criminal probe is independent of the ongoing investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board, which aims to determine the cause of the bridge collapse and assess safety protocols.
Following the bridge collapse on March 26, which resulted in the deaths of six construction crew members and left two survivors, President Biden and Maryland Governor Wes Moore assured that those responsible would be held accountable. The White House has dismissed any suggestions of intentional wrongdoing or terrorism in relation to the incident.
