#RHOA: Simon Guobadia Is Already Coming for Porsha Williams’ ‘RHOA’ Bag Ahead of Season 15!
Those who have followed Porsha Williams’ reality TV career know she’s no stranger to a high-profile divorce. In 2013, Porsha’s ex-husband, Kordell Stewart, filed for divorce weeks after her debut season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta wrapped. It was an action Porsha later said she learned about on Twitter, now called X in some social circles.
Porsha later got engaged to Dennis McKinley, her daughter Pilar's father, during Season 11 of RHOA. The engagement soon resulted in a public split, a brief reconciliation, and another public split. I’m taking you down Porsha’s history with public breakups for a reason. Promise. Porsha’s breakups have often occurred on RHOA one way or another since she first received a peach in Season 5.
Annoyingly, her future ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, isn’t interested in keeping the tradition alive.
In court documents obtained by Distractify regarding Porsha and Simon’s divorce, Simon is taking legal measures to ensure he has no part in her Bravo return. If he has his way, fans watching Porsha on TV won’t be able to “catch” their tea!

Ironically, Simon and Porsha met on The Real Housewives of Atlanta in Season 14. We have all gone back and watched the two’s now infamous fist bump as Porsha applauded Simon’s ex-wife, Falynn Pina, on the stunning mansion she and Simon would later share. After getting engaged in 2021, Porsha and Simon later appeared on Porsha’s Family Matters, with Simon in every episode.
Alas, according to Simon, the past is the past, and should stay off of Bravo. In an April 2024 filing for a videotaped deposition with Porsha, Simon requested a representative of Atlanta’s production company, True Entertainment/Truly Original, give him classified information regarding Porsha’s Season 15 contract and her salary.
Simon is also asking to see all communications between True and Porsha, including comments on their relationship, divorce, prenuptial agreement, and “filming, recording, taping, and production” taking place at his home, where Porsha hinted she at least still visits.
The court case further states that Simon wants to see “storylines, subjects, and/or topics involving Porsha regarding The Real Housewives of Atlanta television show” through 2025. He’s also demanding that any “email or written communication” between her and True be shared with him.
There are several reasons why Simon Guobadia wants Porsha’s contract and other ‘RHOA’ info.
Simon’s deposition comes after his possibly controlling ways begin to surface. Several days before his April 16 filing, his ex, Falynn, appeared on The Baller Alert Show and hinted at him being controlling and a “narcissist” and said she was glad the world is apparently seeing the side of him she saw during their relationship.
While Porsha didn’t call Simon controlling in her own words, court documents show she abruptly left the home while he was away before filing for divorce, possibly to avoid an argument. Additionally, a source told People shortly after Porsha filed that the marriage’s end resulted from an “ongoing matter.”
It’s also possible Simon isn’t controlling Porsha herself but going for her pockets instead, as many fans anticipate her discussing their divorce on RHOA.
If Porsha can't discuss the divorce, it could cost her whatever Bravo paid for her to come back. And, if Simon really is controlling, he likely hopes her being off the show will force her to rethink their split.

#HipHopNews: Da Band's Freddy P Claims Diddy Threatening His Life Made Him Leave The Group!
Da Band rapper Freddy P claims he left the group after Diddy allegedly made threats against his life.
The 43-year-old sat down for an interview with The Art of Dialogue that was published on Friday (April 19), during which the Florida native claimed he got into it with Puff on a bad day and things escalated to the point of no return.
“One day, I was waking up and I was in a mood,” he began. “I’m in the studio, I’m snapping or whatever. I didn’t even want to be fucked with. You know when you around a bunch of goofies and you a street n-gga, sometimes you don’t want to be around the nerds. So I’m in that bitch – I’m just frustrated with a lot of shit going on.
“Anyway, we get into a situation. We in front of everybody, n-gga like, ‘Man, what you think you bout it or something?’ He was like, ‘N-gga, I’ll buy every house on your block, shut every light off in that bitch and every time you come out that bitch, you’ll get popped.’ When he tell you some shit like that, you go to picture him purchasing every house, you going to picture every light going off and that shit silenced me.”
This incident ultimately caused the rapper to stop working with the group, which explains his absence from Dave Chappelle‘s infamous Da Band parody skit. He also revealed that it made him consider murdering Diddy, though he obviously didn’t make good on that.
“I was trying to take his ass out,” he said. “Me and my dawg — God rest his soul — we had a G Wagon, and he had his little two twos, I had a little pistol on me or whatever. I had the MAC or whatever, and we were waiting for his pussy-ass to come out.”
This isn’t the first time Freddy P has spoken out against Diddy. Just a couple years back, in 2022, he said the music mogul is one of the main reasons he “hates life.” He also admitted that he considered suicide numerous times since leaving the show.
“This year alone I’ve contemplated suicide three or four times,” he said in an Instagram video. “I done pictured my brother walking in and finding me dead. I cried a few times thinking about leaving my son because I just get tired of life. But no matter what you gotta do you just gotta keep at it … there’s n-ggas that wanna see you fall.”
He continued: “Like this n-gga Puffy is the main muthafuckin’ reason why I hate fucking life, dawg. People don’t even understand. Like, I don’t even give a fuck. I’ve never been to a point where I thought of suicide my whole life, never. I mean, I’m a gangsta.
“I don’t even know how I started thinking like that. I done had it all and I fell to the bottom. How do you come back from that when you battling a giant? It ain’t got nothing to do with your skill no more ’cause your skill is 90 percent better than any n-gga that’s out there right now and the world knows it.”
Making The Band ran for three seasons from 2000–2002. Under the New York City native’ tutelage, the show produced Da Band, Danity Kane, Day26 and Donnie Klang.
Boyband O-Town was also formed on the show, but that was during its first season with executive and notorious scam artist Lou Pearlman overseeing the entire operation.
Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch Restored For Upcoming Biopic
Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch, once a thriving theme park and the iconic home of the legendary singer, is undergoing a remarkable restoration as filming for his upcoming biopic "Michael" commences.
The ranch, located near Santa Barbara, California, has been brought back to its former glory, with colorful fairground rides, tents and the iconic red train returning to its grounds. Aerial photos reveal that the amusement park has been meticulously reconstructed, featuring a Ferris wheel, a replica of Jackson's carousel and a hot-air balloon ride.
The restoration is part of the production process for the biopic, which will feature Jackson's nephew, Jaafar Jackson, portraying his late uncle. The film will delve into Jackson's life and career, from his early days as the lead singer of The Jackson 5 to his rise as the King of Pop. It will also address the controversies and allegations that surrounded him, including child abuse claims.
The ranch had fallen into disrepair after Jackson left it in 2003 following a raid by police in connection with child molestation charges. However, billionaire businessman Ron Burkle purchased it in 2020 for $22 million and has invested in its restoration.
"It was kind of a depressing place. It wasn't the beautiful place that it was before. It just needed flowers and life in it again," Burkle said at the time of his purchase.
Filming for the biopic began in January 2024, and extras working as vendors and park attendees were spotted on location. The behind-the-scenes footage and stills from the set have sparked excitement among fans eager to see their idol's story brought to life on the big screen.
The biopic, directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan, boasts an impressive cast that includes Coleman Domingo as Jackson's father Joe, Nia Long as his mother Katherine, Katerina Graham as Diana Ross, and Miles Teller as John Branca. It is scheduled to be released in April 2025 and is expected to be one of the biggest films of the year.
Amanda Bynes Shares How She’s Trying to Win Back Her Ex
Amanda Bynes wants someone special to know that she's still the man.
In fact, the She's the Man star shared that she's been consistently trying to get an ex's attention through social media
"Am I the only one who's trying to win back their ex through every Instagram post?" she asked in a since-deleted April 22 Instagram Story. "Let me know if I'm the only one."
Amanda, 38, didn't specify which ex she was trying to win back, though she was last publicly linked to Paul Michael, who proposed in 2020 before they called off their engagement in 2021.
Paul—who continued dating the actress off and on until 2022—met her in rehab and previously said he connected with her over their deep "understanding of one another."
"She is a good listener, and we're there for each other," Paul, 32, told E! News in December 2020. "We have the best time and I love spending every second with her. She is the best thing that ever happened to me."
But rekindling a romance isn't Amanda's only goal these days. The What I Like About You actress recently spent her 38th birthday touring new apartment complexes and shared that she is determined to become a manicurist after a brief stint as host of Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast.
"Even though the podcast is doing really well and the response has been great, I am going to take a pause on it for now," Amanda explained in a Dec. 17 TikTok after airing the show's first episode. "We are not able to get the type of guests that I'd like on the show, say like Jack Harlow, or Drake, or Post Malone, so maybe one day if we're able to get those types of guests we will resume the podcast. But for now I'm taking a pause on it."
She added, "I would rather get my manicurist license and have a consistent job."
Kevin Hart Recalls Wanda Sykes Advising Him After Homophobic Jokes Resurfaced: ‘I Couldn’t Ignore That’
Six years after Kevin Hart stepped down from hosting the Academy Awards due to problematic jokes resurfacing, he reflects on the person who put everything into perspective for him.
In a new interview with Anderson Cooper for 60 Minutes, the comedian remembered “the best lightbulb ever”: Wanda Sykes.
“Wanda Sykes said, ‘There’s people that are being hurt today because of comments like the ones that you made then. And there’s people that were saying it’s okay to make those comments today based off of what you did then,’” Hart recalled.
Among the controversial jokes and posts included tweets about his disgust over potentially having a gay son and saying someone’s profile photo looked like “a gay bill board for AIDS.”
Clips from his 2010 stand-up special Seriously Funny also surfaced where he continued riffing off the bit about his hypothetical gay son, saying he would “knock them both down” if he saw his son grinding with another boy.
According to 44-year-old Hart, his fellow comedian/actor/host Sykes, 60, put everything into perspective for him. “It was presented to me in a way where I couldn’t ignore that," he told Cooper. "So in those moments of despair, great understanding and education can come out of it, if you’re given the opportunity.”
After Hart came under fire for his past comments, he initially refused to apologize despite the Academy giving him an ultimatum. “This is not the first time this has come up,” he said in an Instagram video in 2018. “I’ve addressed it. I’ve spoken on it. I’ve said where the rights and wrongs were.”
The following day, he tweeted an apology and stepped down from hosting duties. His reasoning was that he didn’t “want to be a distraction on the night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists.” He went on to apologize to the LGBTQ+ community and said “My goal is to bring people together not tear us apart.”
Hart has continued to discuss the controversy and how it affected him, most recently telling WSJ Magazine that it was a “come-to-Jesus moment” for him.
T-Pain involved in hit and run: ‘Thank God I’m alive’
Rapper/singer T-Pain was the victim of a hit-and-run crash in Atlanta early Monday morning.
While still at the scene, he posted a video message on Instagram directed at the unknown suspect.
“[I know] times is rough these days but whoever just f—ing ran into the back of my G—-m truck and whoever just hit me and my wife, my road manager, my driver — whoever just did that s–t and drove the f–k off, life’s about to get so much worse,” he explained with a smile.
The “Bartender” singer pointed out that the suspect left behind clues.
“You left the whole G—-m front of your truck, so we know what we’re looking for now. You left your f—–ng baby toys so now we know you got kids!”
While traffic accidents are frightening, the Tallahassee, Florida native remained in good spirits.
“Sh–t is going too great for me to not make me want revenge right now because you drove the f–k off. And boy, that was the worst part.”
He then laughed and said the wreck threw him off schedule as he had a packed agenda.
Two police cars, an ambulance and a fire truck can be seen in the video at the crash site. You can see EMTs tending to the artist’s driver.
“Thank God I’m alive,” he said as he appeared unharmed
He ended his video saying this to the suspect: “I know things is going bad for a lot of people. I don’t know if you was drunk. I don’t know if you ain’t pay your insurance. I don’t know what’s going on in your life.”
Celebrities left comments offering their support.
“I’m in ATL and these are the WORST drivers I have ever encountered in my life,” wrote actress Amber Riley. “There are multiple accidents every single day on the highway when I go to work in the morning. No one uses an indicator light, nobody looks before they get over, and they will hop in front of you even if it’s just an inch between you and another car. I. Am. TIRED.”
Actor Jaleel White commended T-Pain’s positive attitude. “If ‘Kill ‘em with Kindness’ was a person. Glad you and wifey are okay,” White wrote.
Producer and rapper Timbaland left three prayer hand emojis.
In the comments, the “All I Do Is Win” singer described the vehicle as a “2003-2007 Chevy SUV that probably looks like they hit something super hard and missing the grill.”
He also wrote that people told him his neck and back may be sore in the morning. He then joked that they were underestimating how much his neck and back were already hurting from “just being old.”
Mary J. Blige reacts after being named a 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee
On Sunday (April 21), the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame revealed their 2024 inductees, which included Mary J. Blige, Kool & The Gang, and A Tribe Called Quest, the last of whom was nominated for the honor three straight times. Unfortunately, peers like Mariah Carey, Lenny Kravitz, and Sade were not selected after becoming nominees back in February.
Shortly after the announcement, Blige reacted to the big news in a heartfelt Instagram post. "Beyond grateful! This is incredible! God always has the final say!" said the Yonkers legend, who was also nominated in 2021. "Thank you to my fans all over the world! Tears of joy!"
A Tribe Called Quest's Jarobi White expressed his appreciation while acknowledging late member Phife Dawg, who tragically passed away in 2016 due to complications from diabetes. "Wow!!! [Q-Tip and Ali Shaheed Muhammad], we did it! Phifey, we got you in the Hall of Fame! Wish you were here. Well, I know you’re watching so... F**k yeah!" wrote White. "To all of the Questers, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!"
“Rock & Roll is an ever-evolving amalgam of sounds that impacts culture and moves generations,” stated Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation Chairman John Sykes in a press release. “This diverse group of inductees each broke down musical barriers and influenced countless artists that followed in their footsteps.”
As previously reported, Missy Elliott was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2023. “Words cannot describe. It just hasn’t clicked,” she told "Good Morning America" anchor Robin Roberts. “When you’re in the Hip Hop world, it seems so far out of reach… And it being the 50th year of Hip Hop, it’s layers. No matter what people tell you, the Hip Hop world is something special and unique.”
The 2024 induction ceremony will take place Oct. 19 at Cleveland, OH’s Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. You can find additional information here.
Zendaya Reacts to Getting So Many Questions About Kissing Her Co-Stars
Zendaya is getting real about people’s focus on her kissing her co-stars.
The 27-year-old actress has been promoting her new romance movie Challengers, which opens in theaters on April 26. In the film, she stars as a tennis coach who finds herself in a love triangle with two athletes played by Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor.
Challengers‘ many romantic scenes have sparked conversations about how actors go about filming such sequences.
During a conversation on Jake’s Takes, Zendaya reacted to all the buzz.
“I feel like, when you do [kissing scenes], there is an abnormal amount of attention paid to it,” host Jake Hamilton remarked.
“I know, it’s very odd,” Zendaya responded.
On whether people tend to forget that it’s literally her job to kiss other actors for a role or if it’s merely an excuse to get her to speak on the topic, the Euphoria star offered her perspective.
“I have no idea. I don’t know if it’s because they want it to be, like, a viral thing, I don’t know. But I have noticed that, with me specifically,” she explained. “I feel like other actors don’t… if it was somebody else here, you probably wouldn’t [have] asked that question. But yeah, it is a part of my job and it is a completely normal part of the job despite, I think, maybe other people’s perception of our job. But yeah, it is odd.”
Zendaya added, “Thank you for bringing that up, because I thought the same thing. I’m like, this is weird! This is weird!”
Ne-Yo Confirms He's Dating Multiple Partners as He's Spotted Holding Hands With 2 of His Girlfriends!
Ne-Yo is juggling multiple partners at the same time! The "So Sick" singer, 44, confirmed he's currently in more than one romantic relationship while strolling hand-in-hand through The Grove in Los Angeles, Calif., with two of his girlfriends.
Ne-Yo has been juggling multiple partners at the same time.
"This is the first time that I've been in a relationship or situation like this," Ne-Yo told a photographer on Thursday, April 19, while walking with his main ladies.
The person behind the camera asked the chart-topper if he would support legalizing polygamy since he's a fan of having multiple people by his side. "Legalizing polygamy? I didn't know it was illegal," Ne-Yo stated.
"You should let people do whatever the h--- they want to do," he continued. "To be honest, I don't need the government to tell me what I can and can't do in my personal life. I don't recommend anything to anybody. What works for me might not work for you, or vice-versa."
Ne-Yo said it was his first time dating multiple partners at once.
As previously reported, the "Miss Independent" crooner finalized his divorce from ex-wife Crystal Renay, 37, in February 2023 after she claimed Ne-Yo was stepping out on their marriage.
"8 years of lies and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous of [sic] women who sell their bodies to him unprotected … every last one of them! To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is an understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist," Renay — who shares children Shaffer Jr., 8, Roman, 5, and Isabella, 2, with the musician — wrote on social media of their tumultuous split.
Madonna Faces Another Class Action Lawsuit Over Late Shows
The material girl is being asked yet again to produce material evidence (in her defense). For the second time this year, Madonna has been hit with a class action lawsuit over her recent tendency to start her concerts much, much later than advertised.
The new lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for Washington, D.C. on behalf of three women who purchased tickets for Madonna’s December 18 and 19, 2023 shows at Capitol One Arena. It accuses the singer of unfair or deceptive trade practices, breach of contract, unjust enrichment and negligent misrepresentation for twice appearing more than two hours late at each show.
The suit says tickets advertised a performance start time of 8:30 p.m.. but on both nights Madonna didn’t start until after 10:00.
“As a result,” the filing says, “all three individual Plaintiffs who purchased their tickets in response to the Defendants’ marketing had to leave the concerts early prior to the concerts’ conclusion, therefore depriving each of them of the benefit of seeing the complete concert.”
The suit, which also names Live Nation as a defendant, says Madonna and the concert promotion powerhouse “purposely and deceptively” concealed from audiences that the singer would begin her set late. It also accuses the defendants of failing to disclose that Madonna “would lip synch much of her performance,” and of mainting “a hot and uncomfortable temperature in the venue” during the show.
“Madonna and Live Nation have publicly stated that it is not reasonable for
consumers to believe that the 8:30 start time on the ticket indicates that’s when the concert will begin and that no concerts start on the start time as advertised,” the suit says. It offers as counter evidence the examples of Live Nation-promoted Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen concerts that began on time, as well as professional sporting events and Broadway shows.
The suit also notes previous examples of Madonna being late, as well as examples of fans expressing outrage about it on social media.
The lawsuit demands a jury trial, and seeks “judgment against Defendants for actual and consequential damages, as well as costs, pre and post-judgment interest as permitted by law, and any other relief that this Court deems just and proper.
It’s not the first time that Madonna’s habitual lateness has provoked legal action. In January, she was sued by a group of concert attendees in New York City. The singer hasn’t commented on Monday’s lawsuit but said in January she intended to “vigorously” defend herself.
Nicki Minaj Hurls Object Back Into Audience After Item Is Thrown At Her During Detroit Show
The Detroit stop of Nicki Minaj‘s record-breaking Pink Friday 2 Tour was full of surprises. Not only did the trendsetter bring out the city’s own Big Sean, she also found herself having an unwelcome exchange with an audience member.
At the Little Caesars Arena on Saturday night (April 20), an apparent bracelet of some sort was hurled at Minaj, nearly hitting her face while she performed “Starships.” The wrist piece landed on the stage, moving her to launch it back into the crowd.
Minaj could then be seen hula-hooping her microphone around her waist before finishing the song. Right before the clip cuts, she could be seen gesturing with her finger for the the bracelet bandit to come to her.
The incident aside, Monica performed, per usual, ahead of Big Sean taking the stage, where he performed “Bounce Back” and “IDFWU.” The “Dance” spitter also brought out special guest Sada Baby, who was joined by Minaj for their 2020 remix of “Whole Lotta Choppas.”
The 2023 trend of concert-goers throwing things at the very person they’re there to see, hopefully, isn’t on the brink of return. While some artists don’t mind traditional items like bras and underwear being thrown at them, others have gotten hurt by phones and more.
Cardi B performed at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas last year, where she found herself throwing a microphone at a woman who threw liquid at her. While performing her 2017 hit, “Bodak Yellow,” a woman could be seen in a video clip tossing her drink on Cardi before the Bronx native reacted.
During Rolling Loud Germany in 2023, Latto threatened an audience member who threw something at her.
While rapping her new single “Put It On Da Floor,” the Atlanta-native addressed the culprit, saying, “You’ll get your a** beat. Throw it again. Throw it again. I’ll beat your a**. Throw it again.”

Draya posted on Instagram that she was struggling. Many are connecting her struggles to social media commentary.
“I feel like I am at the bottom of a pile of heavy humans,” she wrote. “Most hours of the day I feel like I am struggling to breathe.”
The Internet was in a frenzy after Draya Michele announced she was pregnant on International Women’s Day. The father of the child is presumed to be Jalen Green.
Draya is 39, and Green is 22, leading many to believe the model and actress are taking advantage of the Rockets’ star due to a big contract.
On Instagram, Draya wrote:

Ashanti And Nelly Team Up With Proof To Offer At Home Fertility Tests
After confirming that she is pregnant with her first child, Ashanti also announced that she and Nelly are co-owners of Proov, along with founder Amy Beckley, PhD.
So what is Proov? Proov is a diagnostics company that specializes in at-home fertility tests designed to assist individuals on their journey to conception.
“You never know how many people are going through these issues. I have cousins, i have friends , i have family… i wanted to do something that encourages and empowers women,” she said.
Proov recently launched the Proov Path to Pregnancy, a at-home fertility treatment program that offers a less invasive and more affordable alternative to traditional methods like in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
Amy Beckley, the CEO and Founder of Proov, drew inspiration from her personal struggles with infertility to create the program .
“In my journey through infertility, I discovered a gap in accessible and effective fertility solutions. This realization was the catalyst for Proov. We’re not just about tracking the fertile window; we’re about uncovering and addressing the underlying issues that can make conceiving more challenging,” Beckley shared in a recent interview.
One of the most significant barriers to fertility treatments is the cost, with traditional IVF cycles often reaching upwards of $15,000 per attempt.
Proov aims to break down these financial barriers by offering affordable packages priced at $399 for the Silver package and $499 for the Gold package, both of which are eligible for FSA and HSA reimbursement.
What also sets the Proov Path to Pregnancy apart is its comprehensive nature. The program spans three months and includes hormone tracking, personalized treatment plans, and ongoing support from medical professionals.
“Participants track up to 54 hormones in the Proov app, which [a doctor] analyzes to diagnose any hormone imbalances or ovulation issues. This allows us to provide the most effective prescription support for each individual, creating a low-cost path to pregnancy,” Beckley explained.
