#RHOA: Marlo Hampton Doubles Down on Claim She's More "Worldwide" Than Kandi Burruss
Marlo Hampton is doubling down.The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is shading co-star Kandi Burruss once again in E! News' exclusive sneak peek at part three of the season 14 reunion. In the preview, host Andy Cohen brings up the duo's explosive Jamaica trip fight during which Marlo claimed Kandi isn't known outside of Atlanta.
"Do you really think Kandi is not worldwide?" Andy asks.
Marlo responds, "No, she's worldwide. It's just when I was saying it at the time I was saying you're not in the circles I'm in."
When Andy reminds her that Kandi's "got more Instagram followers than everyone combined," Marlo stands firm in her stance.
"When we go places—to Paris or London—I'm just saying we're in different circles," she adds. "But you're known worldwide."
Marlo further explains, "It's different. If me or Kandi right now go to Paris or London or something, I going to get in to certain doors Kandi would not be able to get into."
The statement elicits various reactions from the RHOA cast, but Kenya Moore is the most confused and fires back, "That's a lie. You sound crazy."
Kandi adds with a laugh, "Even Andy is looking baffled!"
Marlo says, "If I go into the music industry right now, into hip hop, it's going to be different doors than open for me. She's more hip hop. But I know if I walk into anyone from R&B, hip hop, I'm not going to have any pull."
#MusicNews: Beyoncé To Reportedly Launch 'Renaissance' Tour In Summer 2023
Beyoncé is bringing Renaissance to a stadium near you next year. Multiple sources tell Page Six that the Grammy-winning icon is planning to hit the road on a worldwide stadium tour, which would commence in the summer of 2023.
While Beyoncé’s camp has not responded to the report, an official tour announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
Queen Bey last toured stadiums with JAY-Z as part of the “On the Run II Tour” in 2018 following the release of their joint album, Everything Is Love. Prior to that in 2016, she toured solo on her “Formation World Tour.”
In July, she released her 7th studio album Renaissance, which topped the charts and spawned the No. 1 hit “Break My Soul,” with contributions from Grace Jones, Tems, and Beam.
And more music is on the way. Bey previously revealed that Renaissance is the first part of a “three-act project,” which was recorded over three years during the pandemic.
“I hope you find joy in this music,” Bey told fans. “I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”

NEW YORK, NY – A$AP Rocky has issued an apology after his Rolling Loud New York performance was cut short.
The Harlem rapper headlined day two of the traveling festival at Citi Field in Queens on Saturday night (September 24), but his show ended on an anticlimactic note when his microphone was turned off after just 30 minutes.
Pretty Flacko issued a statement on Twitter on Sunday (September 25) apologizing to his fans and expressing his “hurt” over how his performance unfolded.
“I am so hurt right now!” he wrote. “Last night was supposed to be a turning point in my live shows from the old to new! I will take full responsibility for the circumstances of what led to last nights show being everything it was and everything it wasn’t.
“I also want to acknowledge that even tho I prepared the best show for my fans, detail for detail, over the course of MONTHS… I was unfortunately not able to bring my vision to fruition and Im hurt about that and want to apologize to all of my fans and continued supporters.”
He added: “And thank you y’all for showing up for me regardless!! A$AP4EVA.”
A$AP Rocky was supposed to hit the stage at 8:55 p.m., but reportedly didn’t show up until roughly half an hour later. He managed to perform nine songs — including unreleased tracks like “Grim Freestyle,” “Shirt” and the Playboi Carti-assisted “Sights” — while bringing out special guests GloRilla and French Montana.
Rocky dedicated “Sights” to 22Gz, Sha Ek and Ron Suno, the three New York drill rappers who were removed from the Rolling Loud lineup at the last minute reportedly at the request of the New York Police Department.
“NYPD, I love you to death but y’all gotta do better,” he said before performing the song. “Y’all banned every drill artist from coming today, right? So listen, a lot of muthafuckas be hating and shit, right? But this next song, though, we want to do it for all the drill muthafuckas who couldn’t come here tonight.”
The A$AP Mob leader’s headlining set came to an abrupt close at around 10:00 p.m. due to a noise ordinance, according to TMZ. He looked visibly disappointed when his microphone was switched off.
“New York City, thank you so much,” he told the crowd before departing the stage. “I ain’t even gonna hold you, this shit was lit. They cut a n-gga mic short, but it’s all good. Thank you for the love, y’all. I appreciate that shit, ya heard?”
Some fans were unhappy with the repeated delays during Rocky’s set, with the rapper pausing to orchestrate mosh pits and rile up the crowd’s energy after most songs.
“We can talk about @RollingLoud but asap Rocky was late, spent so much time talking about moshing, and other stuff and was MIDD!” one fan tweeted. “He could have just played more songs!”
Prior to his Rolling Loud set, A$AP Rocky announced that it would be his final live performance until the release of his next album. Flacko posted a fictional magazine cover on Instagram featuring a sub-heading that read: “His last show until the album.”
His last album, Testing, arrived in 2018 and while there’s been no shortage of snippets of new songs, concrete details about the project remain scarce.
Pink Floyd Co-Founder Roger Waters Has Cancelled Two Shows In Poland Following Backlash On His Ukraine Stance
Pink Floyd founding member Roger Waters has canceled concerts planned in Poland amid outrage over his stance on Russia’s war against Ukraine. Waters was set to perform at Tauron Arena in Krakow in April of next year, however, Polish media outlets have announced that he has pulled out of the planned dates, as reported by NPR.
A representative from Tauron Arena was quoted by Polish outlets saying, “Roger Waters’ manager decided to withdraw … without giving any reason.”
The cancellation of the shows follows an open letter Waters published this month addressed to the first lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, in which he urged Zelenska and her husband, president Volodymyr Zelensky, to “seek a different route” in regards the Russian war against Ukraine.
“If by ‘support for Ukraine,’ you mean the West continuing to supply arms to the Kiev government’s armies, I fear you may be tragically mistaken,” Waters said. “Throwing fuel, in the form of armaments, into a fire fight, has never worked to shorten a war in the past, and it won’t work now, particularly because, in this case, most of the fuel is (a) being thrown into the fire from Washington DC, which is at a relatively safe distance from the conflagration, and (b) because the ‘fuel throwers’ have already declared an interest in the war going on for as long as possible.”
Elsewhere in the letter, Waters said, “If I’m not wrong, please help me in my honest endeavors to persuade our leaders to stop the slaughter, the slaughter which serves only the interests of the ruling classes and extreme nationalists both here in the West, and in your beautiful country, at the expense of the rest of us ordinary people both here in the West, and in the Ukraine, and in fact ordinary people everywhere all over the world.”
Far-right leader Giorgia Meloni set to become Italian prime minister
“Ultraconservative values, anti-immigration and nationalism — these are the three keywords that best describe what she stands for,” Rosa Balfour, director of the Carnegie Europe think tank said.
Giorgia Meloni, a nationalist accused by political rivals and experts of spreading white supremacist ideas, was on Monday set to become Italy's first far-right leader since World War II.
The near-final results from Sunday's election showed her Brothers of Italy party (Fratelli d'Italia) will lead a right-wing coalition, joined by former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's center-right Forza Italia party and fellow right-wing firebrand Matteo Salvini's League party.
The government is predicted to have a majority in both the upper and the lower houses of Italy’s Parliament, giving Meloni, 45, power to enact her nationalist, euroskeptic platform, and swelling the ranks of far-right figures at the top of European politics.
The results confirm her party’s rise from a radical fringe group to the driving force in right-wing Italian politics. The near-final results confirmed it won more than 26% of the total vote — in the last national election in 2018, it got just 4%.
Meloni, who would be Italy's first female leader, and the Brothers of Italy advocate naval blockades to stop unauthorized migration from Africa.
She has also bemoaned the chronically low birthrate in Italy and spoken of a left-wing government plot to “finance the invasion to replace Italians with immigrants,” a main tenet of the “great replacement,” a conspiracy theory that accuses shadowy global elites of the wholesale importing of nonwhite migrants to majority white countries.

“We must remember that we are not at the end point, we are at the starting point. It is from tomorrow that we must prove our worth,” Meloni said at a rally early Monday, according to a translation from Reuters.
The Brothers of Italy can trace its roots back to a fascist party founded by supporters of dictator Benito Mussolini, although Meloni has rejected any suggestion that lingering fascist tendencies remain, comparing Brothers instead to the United Kingdom's traditionally center-right Conservative Party.
Although Salvini is set for a government role, it was a bad night for his League party, which won about 9% of the vote, down from more than 17% in 2018. Berlusconi’s Forza Italia, formerly a governing party, won 8% of the vote.
The center-left Democratic Party received 19% of the vote and conceded defeat.
“Forza Italia and Lega (League) are populist right-wing parties, whereas Brothers of Italy is clearly a far-right party that has not given up on its post-fascist roots,” Rosa Balfour, director of Carnegie Europe, a think tank in Brussels, told BBC News on Monday.
“Ultraconservative values, anti-immigration and nationalism — these are the three keywords that best describe what she stands for,” she said referring to Meloni.
Megan Thee Stallion Creates Website with Mental Health Resources for Fans
Megan Thee Stallion is using her platform to help. The rapper launched a website called "Bad Bitches Have Bad Days Too" — which appeared to be taken from a verse line of the lyrics from her single "Anxiety" — to provide her fans with mental health resources.
A user named Shea Jordan Smith shared the news via Twitter on Sunday, writing, "Megan @theestallion created a website that compiles a list of diverse mental health resources and is sending it out to her fans and followers. Real hot girl sh-t." The tweet was later shared by Megan, 27, on her official account.
Smith also included the message the rapper reportedly sent alongside the website to her fans, saying, "Hotties! You know how much mental wellness means to me, so I created a hub with resources that can help when you might need a hand. Head to http://badbitcheshavebaddaystoo.com now and check it out. Love y'all so much."
The site featured a list of free therapy organizations, a national crisis text line, a suicide & crisis lifeline, substance abuse, and mental health administration national helpline among other resources. It also offered resource directories for projects benefitting the black community including therapy for black women and men, LGBTQ Psychotherapist of Color Directory, and black mental wellness, to name a few.
The "Sweetest Pie" rapper has spoken openly about her mental health journey in the past. Last October, she opened up about turning to therapy after the deaths of both of her parents.
Megan's mom Holly Thomas died in March 2019 after battling brain cancer and her father died when she was a teenager. She also lost her grandmother shortly after her mother died.
On the season 2 premiere of the Facebook Watch series Peace of Mind with Taraji, Megan said, "I've lost both of my parents. Now I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, who do I talk to? What do I do?' I just started learning that it's okay to ask for help. It's okay to want to go get therapy."
"As a Black person, and when you think of therapy you think of 'Oh my gosh, I'm weak,' you think of medication, and you just think the worst," explained Megan at the time. "That's kind of what you see on TV too; like, therapy wasn't even presented in the media as something that was good. Now it's becoming safe to say, 'Alright now, there's a little too much going on. Somebody help me.' "
Megan added she sometimes throws herself into work and her career too when she's experiencing something emotionally: "I work through my emotions too. When people start to see me a lot or when my schedule gets really full, I'm probably going through something because I wanna keep my mind busy."
The star also shared that she keeps her mom's voice close, praying "like 80 times a day" and thinking about what she would do in situations.
"When I'm feeling down, I'm like, 'Girl, what would your mama tell you right now?' Because if my mom was here, she'd be in my ear like, 'What you doin'? You can do better than that.' ... I always have to keep her words in the back of my head to keep me going," Megan added at the time.
#BoxOfficeNews: Box Office: ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Sizzles With $19 Million Debut
In the end, there was no need to worry, darling. Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darling,” a 1950s-set psychological thriller with off-screen drama that rivaled any antics in the actual movie, scored at the box office in its opening weekend, collecting a leading $19.2 million from 4,113 North American theaters.
At the international box office, the film added another $10.8 million for a global tally of $30 million.
Those ticket sales indicate that behind-the-scenes scandals didn’t ding interest in the film, which co-stars Florence Pugh and Harry Styles as newlyweds who live in a curiously idyllic town. All the talk about Spitgate, awkward press conferences and a seemingly endless stream of tabloid fodder may have even boosted awareness. (Well, that, and the overwhelming desire to watch the world-famous pop star in his first major film role.) Whatever the reason that brought audiences to theaters, it’s an impressive debut for the $35 million-budgeted “Don’t Worry Darling.”

“While no studio wants to have external forces impacting the marketing message of their movies, in this case, the drama swirling around ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ only served to amp up the must-see factor for the film,” said Paul Dergarabedian, a senior Comscore analyst.
The R-rated movie, backed by Warner Bros., landed a mediocre “B-” CinemaScore from moviegoers, suggesting that word-of-mouth could be a problem beyond its opening weekend. Reviews for “Don’t Worry Darling” weren’t too enthusiastic either (it has a 38% on Rotten Tomatoes), but that didn’t matter to fans of Styles, who turned out in force over the weekend. Surprising no one, 66% of ticket buyers were female, while nearly 70% were between the ages of 18 to 34. Audience members under the age of 18, which accounted for 16% of crowds, were especially positive, giving the film an “A-” CinemaScore.
Already, the box office results for “Don’t Worry Darling” appear to be front-loaded. Friday’s grosses (which were inclusive of Thursday previews and a special Imax screening on Monday) accounted for $9.5 million, a good portion of initial weekend sales. Based on opening day, box office experts believed “Don’t Worry Darling” would earn $21 million or $22 million by Sunday. But the movie withstood a bigger-than-expected drop on Saturday ($5.8 million) and Sunday ($3.8 million), causing Warner Bros. to revise projections down to $19 million.
“We’re enormously proud of this film and are pleased with these results given our modest production budget,” the studio said on Sunday in a note to press.
Another bright spot on domestic box office charts: Disney’s re-release of “Avatar” racked up $10 million from just 1,860 locations, most of them Imax venues. It’s a sizable result for a movie that opened 13 years ago, even if that movie happens to be the highest-grossing global release in history.
Overseas, “Avatar” drummed up a huge $20.5 million from 50 international territories over the weekend, bringing the re-release’s worldwide weekend total to $30.5 million.
Given the remastered version of “Avatar” returned to theaters on a random weekend in September (and without the degree of promotion that’s typically dedicated to new releases), box office watchers are encouraged for “Avatar: The Way of Water,” director James Cameron’s decade-in-the-making, mega-budgeted sequel that’s due in theaters in December.
“This test run is trying to take the temperature of the marketplace for ‘The Way of Water,'” Dergarbedian said. “It shows there’s heat.”
“Avatar” placed third on box office charts behind Sony’s “The Woman King,” a historical action epic starring Viola Davis. The film generated a mighty $11.14 million from 3,765 cinemas in its sophomore outing, declining only 40% from its opening weekend. To date, “The Woman King” has grossed $36.2 million domestically and $1.3 million internationally.
In fourth place, the Airbnb slasher “Barbarian,” from Disney and 20th Century Studios, added $4.8 million in its third outing. The film, lauded for its loony twists and turns, has been holding exceptionally well for a low-budget horror release; ticket sales fell only 26% from last weekend. “Barbarian” has generated $28.4 million so far.
Two films — Searchlight’s “See How They Run” and A24’s “Pearl” — tied for fifth place, based on Sunday’s estimates of $1.9 million for each film. “See How They Run,” which is playing in 2,502 theaters, has earned $6.1 million after two weeks of release. “Pearl,” which is screening in 2,982 venues, has amassed $6.65 million after two weeks of release. Monday’s results will determine the official order on domestic charts.
At No. 7, “Bullet Train” stayed strong, earning $1.8 million from 1,907 cinemas in its eighth weekend of release and bringing domestic ticket sales to $99.2 million. Overseas, the Sony Pictures film has earned $131.1 million to date, boosting its global tally to $230 million.
Elsewhere, director Brett Morgen’s kaleidoscopic David Bowie film “Moonage Daydream” brought in $922,000 by expanding to 733 screens. Those returns translate to a decent $1,258 per location and bring overall ticket sales to $2.6 million, a pretty good result for a documentary in today’s moviegoing environment.
KiKi Layne & Ari'el Stachel Address Cut Scenes Of Their Roles in 'Don't Worry Darling'
KiKi Layne is speaking out after the premiere of her brand new movie, Don’t Worry Darling, and just how much she was featured in the film.
The 30-year-old actress, who plays Margaret in the movie, took to Instagram to address the scenes that were cut of her role, and co-star Ari’el Stachel, in the final movie.
KiKi and Ari’el star as Margaret and Ted, a couple in the idealized and pioneering 1950s desert community of Victory that is not quite what it seems.
Her role serves as a catalyst for Florence Pugh’s Alice who begins to test the bounds of and question what’s behind the experimental company town.
“The best thing about #DontWorryDarling is that I was lucky enough to meet @arielstachel,” KiKi wrote in the caption of her post, adding, “They cut us from most of the movie, but we thriving in real life.”
She added, “Love you Ari” with hashtags #GotMyCheck, #GotMyMan and #EverythingHappensforaReason.
In response to her post, Ari’el commented, “My love. You are a queen and your talent shines so bright. I was thirsty then and I’m thirsty now.”
Madonna’s son David Banda celebrates 17th birthday in plunging sequined suit
Happy birthday, David Banda! Madonna’s younger son celebrated his 17th birthday Saturday with a disco-themed bash for family and friends, and the gender-fluid fashion star didn’t disappoint with his choice of outfit for the evening.
Banda sported a teal sequined pantsuit over a silky black shirt unbuttoned halfway down his chest, which he later ditched entirely — the better to show off his multitude of iced-out chains and diamond “DB” pendant from one of his famous mom’s favorite jewelers, Richie Rich.
The teen finished off his party ensemble with an enormous fur coat and towering silver platform boots, which he showed off in a video recap of the festivities Madonna, 64, shared on Instagram Sunday.
“It’s time to boogie-oogie-oogie on my 17th,” Banda says at the start of the clip, which was soundtracked by Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Boogie Wonderland.”
Madonna dressed on theme as well, choosing a green floral top with feather-trimmed sleeves paired with hot pants in the same hue and topped off with a sparkling fedora; Banda’s 10-year-old twin sisters, Estere and Stella, sparkled in colorful sequined dresses accented with feather boas, tinted sunglasses and shimmery eye makeup.
While it’s unclear if Banda borrowed his birthday suit from his mother, the Material Girl recently said he wears her clothes better than she does.
“He can put on any outfit and look swag as you know what,” she said on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in August.
“It’s really irritating. He wears my clothes and looks better in them. He can even wear a dress and look butch.”
Indeed, Banda made headlines when he joined his mom at the WBA World Lightweight Championship in May, clad in a bright red three-stripe Adidas x Gucci dress while Madonna matched in a black striped Balenciaga x Adidas tracksuit.
History is made on 'Big Brother' as Taylor Hale becomes first Black woman to win
History — or her-story — was made Sunday on the Season 24 finale of Big Brother, when Taylor Hale became the first Black woman to win the competition.
After Monte Taylor won the final Head of Household competition and chose to take Taylor to the final two with him, we all pretty much knew she had it in the bag following what some viewers called the "best speech in Big Brother history."
As Taylor made her final plea to the jury members, she stated, "I have overcome so much in this game and I have come to understand that I am not a shield. I am a sword. I am not a victim. I am a victor. If there is one word that is going to describe the entire season, it is resiliency. If you were to ask yourself who the most resilient person of this season has been, it is me."
"We can have the same Big Brother wins that we've had in the past, but I am challenging you jury members," continued Taylor. "I'm challenging all of you to decide what type of winner you want to have this year? Do we want the same thing, where we see evictions and comp wins be the path to success? Or do we want a winner where we choose resiliency, we choose persistence as a reason to win this game. I have never given up on myself and I refuse to do it tonight when I'm sitting next to such a strong competitor. Jury members, I am challenging you to make the hard decision and change the course of the game and choose progress for the course of this game. Speaking of Big Brother history, not only was Taylor the first Black woman to win, but it was the first time ever that the final two houseguests were a Black man and a Black woman, and the first time in Big Brother history that the winner of the game also won "America's Favorite Houseguest," solidifying a huge $800,000 cash prize for Taylor.
Taylor winning both awards was not only historic but also a huge deal particularly because she was the target of bullying and microaggressions from her fellow houseguests early on in the season. Fortunately, the mistreatment of Taylor was turned around with the formation of the Leftovers alliance. And on Sunday, her fellow HGs voted 8-1 in favor of "the face and sword of the season."
‘The Crown’ Gets November Premiere Date After Sensitive Behind-The-Scenes Discussions Following Death Of Queen
The fifth season of The Crown will premiere November 9 on Netflix, the streamer said Saturday. The drama always was scheduled to launch on the that month, but following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on September 8, there had been acute sensitivity at Netflix about how to proceed.

Protocols were instigated back in 2016, before The Crown debuted, about how to manage transmission in the event of the much-loved monarch’s passing. Production on filming Season 6 was indeed halted on the day of the queen’s death. Shooting was also suspended Monday, the day of the state funeral.
The Season 5 launch date for The Crown was unveiled during Netflix’s Tudum virtual global fan event. The date for Tudum was decided several weeks before Queen Elizabeth died.
In June, Dominic West, who portrays Prince Charles, now King Charles III, told Deadline that Seasons 5 and 6 of The Crown deal with “tumultuous” events concerning the royal family. They include the divorces of three of the queen’s children: Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and, of course, the dramatic unravelling of Prince Charles’ marriage to Princess Diana, portrayed by Elizabeth Debicki.
The 10th and final episode of Season 5 is understood to concern the August 31, 1997 car crash in Paris that led to Diana’s death.
Season 5 stars Imelda Staunton as the Queen, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh, and Lesley Manville portraying Princess Margaret. Marcia Warren plays the Queen Mother.

Khalid Abdallas portrays Dodi Al-Fayed, who died in the Paris crash with Diana; Salim Daw plays Mohamed Al-Fayed, Dodi’s father.
The queen’s death has resulted in an immense increase in viewership of The Crown, particularly Season 1, which reentered Netflix’s top 10 of shows this month.
Season 6 of the Netflix, Left Bank and Sony Pictures Television production will continue filming into 2023.
‘Queer as Folk’ Reboot Canceled After One Season at Peacock
The “Queer as Folk” reboot has been canceled after one season at Peacock, Variety has learned.
The entire first season of the show was released on the streamer on June 9. It originally received a straight-to-series order at Peacock in April 2021.
The show followed a group of friends in New Orleans who must deal with the aftermath of a shooting at a queer nightclub. The cast included Fin Argus, CG, Jesse James Keitel, Ryan O’Connell, Johnny Sibilly, Devin Way, and Kim Cattrall, among others.
Stephen Dunn created the series and served as an executive producer along with Jaclyn Moore, Lee Eisenberg, Emily Brecht, original series creator Russell T. Davies, Nicola Shindler, and Richard Halliwell on behalf of NENT Studios UK, which distributes the format. UCP is the studio.
“It’s a rare gift in these times, and in this country, to be able to make a show as fearless and unapologetic as ‘Queer As Folk,'” Dunn said in a statement posted to Instagram. “This experience changed our lives forever and we’re so grateful to have found this incredible new family. But today we received the disappointing news that we’re not getting a second season.”
Dunn went on to thank fans who had watched the series and for “falling in love” with the characters. “We’re so grateful for the chance to honor our community and are so proud of this show,” he concluded.
The Peacock series was the third iteration of “Queer as Folk.” The original British series aired for 10 episodes between 1999 and 2000. Showtime then adapted the series for American audiences with their own version that aired for five seasons between 2000 and 2005.
This also represents the second Peacock cancelation reported in the past few weeks. Earlier in September, Peacock canceled the single-camera comedy “Rutherford Falls” after two seasons.
NFLPA to Review Tua Tagovailoa’s Return Following Concussion Evaluation
The NFL Players Association will launch an investigation into the alleged failure to follow the concussion protocol prior to Tua Tagovailoa’s return in the second half of Sunday’s game between the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.
With just over two minutes remaining in the second quarter, Tagovailoa was escorted off the field with trainers following a late hit from Bills linebacker Matt Milano, which was flagged for roughing the passer.
Tagovailoa tried to return to the huddle and appeared to stumble before two of his offensive linemen, Liam Eichenberg and Terron Armstead, stopped him from moving forward.
Tagovailoa returned for the start of the third quarter, and played in the remainder of the game. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Tua sustained a back injury earlier in the game, and “locked up” following the hit by Milano. He allegedly cleared the concussion protocol.
Rapoport previously reported that Tagovailoa was questionable to return due to a head injury.
“Kind of got my legs caught under someone, they were trying to push back and it felt like I hyper-extended my back or something,” Tagovailoa told reporters during his post-game press conference, per Pelissero. “It kind of hurt. I got up, and that’s kind of why I stumbled. My back kind of locked up on me. But for the most part, I’m good. Passed whatever concussion protocol they had.”
“He kind of got bent back pretty severe on a quarterback sneak earlier,” Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said of Tagovailoa’s injury. “… When he hit his head on the ground, I assumed it was a head injury, but his legs got wobbly because his lower back was completely loose as he described it.”
Tyler Perry Responds to Spike Lee’s Critique of Madea, Says He’s ‘Honoring’ Those Who ‘Made Me Who I Am’
Tyler Perry has given more context to his trademark character, Madea, which has appeared in at least 10 of his movies.
In a new episode of Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace, per TMZ, Perry discussed the inspiration behind the character, in response to Wallace asking the filmmaker about a previous comment Spike Lee made about Madea, calling the character “coonery buffoonery” in a 2009 interview.
“There’s a certain part of our society, especially Black people in the in the culture that…they look down on certain things within the culture,” Perry told Wallace. “For me, I love the movies that I’ve done because they are the people that I grew up with that I represent and they, like, my mother would take me in the projects with her on the weekends, she played cards with these women.”
Perry continued, “So when someone says, you’re harkening back to a point in our life that we don’t want to talk about or we don’t want the world to see—you’re dismissing the stories of millions and millions of Black people and that’s why I think it’s been so successful because it resonates with a lot of us who know these women.”
Perry also pointed to the Harlem Renaissance, saying that this conversation tracks back to before his time. “What is important to me is that I’m honoring the people that came up and taught and made me who I am. Their stories deserve to be told too,” Perry added. In 2009, Perry responded to Lee’s critique, telling him he can “go to hell,” though it appears the two buried the hatchet in 2019 when Lee took a tour of Perry’s movie studio lot in Georgia.
Post Malone Cancels Boston Show, Hospitalized Due To Pain From Previous Stage Fall
At the last minute, Post Malone canceled his Boston show and told fans he was still experiencing pain from falling on stage a week ago.
The singer announced he was canceling the show a few hours before he was scheduled to go on stage Saturday night at the TD Garden. He went on social media to let his fans know he was feeling a sharp pain in his side that required him to go to the hospital again.
“On tour, I usually wake up around 4 o’clock PM, and today I woke up to a cracking sounds on the right side of my body. I felt so good last night, but today it felt so different than has it before.”
He also said he felt a “stabbing pain” every time he moved or breathed. He apologized to his fans and promised them that their tickets would be good for another date in the future, which seems to indicate the show will be postponed for now, TMZ reported.
Last weekend, Post Malone fell through a hole while performing. He suffered a few cracked ribs as a result. It remains unclear when he will return to the stage.
Brooke Bailey’s Daughter Passes Away At 25
Over the weekend, Basketball Wives reality star Brooke Bailey posted to her Instagram that her daughter Kayla Bailey passed away.
Details about the passing of Kayla Bailey has not been released but sources are saying that she passed away from a car accident.
Brooke took to her Instagram to announce the passing with a series of pictures of her baby girl with the caption, “ Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey 💜🕊💔 This is not a goodbye. Mommy will see you soon 🙏🏾.”

Pastor Juanita Bynum Faces Scrutiny After Revealing She is Charging $1499 for a Month Long Prayer Course
Pastor Juanita Bynum made headlines earlier this week after news about her prayer course, The Prayer Institute, circulated online.
The reason behind the commotion was because many were appalled to discover that the course came with a hefty price tag.
Pastor Juanita Bynum faces scrutiny from the public after offering a prayer course for $1499.
The Prayer Institute, which is set to begin on Oct. 6, offers a four-week in-person course in an undisclosed location in Atlanta, a tote bag, a binder, a prayer shawl, an anointing oil, and a certificate of completion, just to name a few items, for $1499. That is a discount from the original price of $1999.99.
While promoting the course on Sept. 14, Bynum urgently encouraged her followers to register for the class because “seating” is limited. In the Instagram post, The 63-year-old wrote, “Register Now! Seating is Limited!” Almost a week later, Pastor Bynum offered a virtual registration option.
As fans viewed Pastor Bynum’s upload, many immediately questioned the “You are Great” vocalist’s motives behind the pricey course. One social media user went as far as to tell the pastor to remove the post altogether.
“1,499 to pray? This is a joke.. what could she teach me about prayer that the Bible hasn’t already has? I’ll wait…..3.2.1. Go..”
“Please take this down. This is truly shameful and one of the reasons people have lost faith in the church…BECAUSE OF GREED.”

Among the previous remarks, others jokingly suggested the main reason why they would pay that specific amount for a praying course. One wrote, “If I’m paying that much, I need Jesus to personally pull up so I can physically touch the helm of his garment….”
Another said, “So does the $1,499 prayer class and the $133 prayer kits come with a tour of heaven, brunch with Jesus, and some selfies with Peter? If not, I don’t want it.”
Following the scrutiny, Pastor Bynum took to her Facebook page to disclose why she charged $1499 for her month-long course.
While bringing up the many years she has dedicated to the ministry, Pastor Bynum said, “I’m not going to insult myself to even discuss the price. It’s an insult to who I am. After being in ministry for over 50 years and for, I know, at least 35+ years, I have done nothing but be a pioneer in the things of prayer and helping people to understand prayer and letting them watch me doing it.”
She added, “So that they can know that there are different dimensions and different levels to prayer. And how do I know that there are different levels and different dimensions? Well, it’s simple. It’s called results. When you get the results, you know the person absolutely knows what they are doing. And that’s what I want to do.”
Judge Says Byron Allen Can Proceed with 10 Billion Lawsuit Against McDonald’s
*A federal judge earlier this week Okayed a $10 billion racial discrimination lawsuit filed by Byron Allen against McDonald’s to proceed. This was after the judge rejected a motion to dismiss the suit.
Allen is the founder and chairman/CEO of Allen Media Group, which sued the fast-food giant in May. In his complaint, Allen alleges that McDonald’s did not allocate a fair amount of the money to the Black-owned media outlets as it disbursed massive advertisement budgets.
In his ruling, U.S. District Judge Fernando Olguin decided that the case has merit. Allen is seeking $10 billion in damages.
The suit further alleges that McDonald’s has refused to contract with African-American media fairly due to racial stereotyping.
New York Judge Threatens Rudy Giuliani With Jail Time If He Doesn’t Pay Ex-Wife $225K
A Manhattan Judge isn’t playing around with former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani. The judge threatened him with jail time if he doesn’t make payments toward the $225,000 he owes his ex-wife, Judith Giuliani.
During a hearing on Friday for the ongoing legal dispute between the former couple-which Rudy didn’t attend — Manhattan Judge Michael Katz warned the ex-politician that he could go to jail if he failed to pay $225,000 plus the legal fees he owes her, RadarOnline reported.
“If the amount is not paid by that date, I’m going to be forced — unfortunately, because it’s not something I want to do — I’m going to be forced to remand the defendant into custody,” Judge Katz said in the courtroom.
Not only did the former mayor not show up to court, but he also failed to file evidence to dispute his ex’s claims against him, in which Judge Katz slammed him for failing to meet his requirements in the 2019 divorce settlement, leaving the court no other options.
“There is no dispute that the judgment has not been complied with because the defendant admitted last time that he owes money.”
“He clearly has failed to meet his obligations,” Judge Katz added.
Judge Katz granted Judith’s request for a default judgment against her ex of $225,442 plus $10,000 for her attorney’s fee.
Earlier this month, Rudy said in court that he does owe Judith money but said the requested amount was a “gross exaggeration” and that he would show proof of his claim. However, he never did.
His no-show move came on the day that oral arguments were to be presented regarding the remaining amount owed by Rudy to Judith, following a $45,000 payment that was to be made to the former wife.
“The defendant has chosen not to submit any proof to this court,” said Judge Katz, “Unfortunately, I’m constrained to find him in contempt.”
Judith’s attorney Dror Bikel responded to the judge’s decision by saying, “for 20 years Ms. Giuliani was a loving, devoted and supporting wife of Mr. Giuliani,” and added that the divorce settlement agreed on by both parties more than three-years-ago, was to “to prevent further embarrassment.”
“For him to snub his nose at the court and not bother showing up and appearing in court — God forbid somebody would do that to him when he was US attorney,” Bikel continued.
