#FASHIONFAB: Coach Presents Spring ’23 Collection + New Ambassador Lil Nas X
Coach’s most recent runway presentation, which took place during New York Fashion Week, caused quite a stir. The creative director of the fashion brand, Stuart Vevers, unveiled the spring 2023 collection to the public. Coach also used the occasion to introduce its new global ambassador, Lil Nas X.
Lil Nas X made his first appearance on a runway to commemorate the event. According to Coach, Lil Nas X exemplifies its new age of “Expressive Luxury” and the company’s ambition for the future generation of consumers. Soon, Lil Nas X will step into the spotlight as the lead in his very first Coach ad campaign.
Stuart Vevers has based the spring collection for Coach on the brand’s American roots. The collection celebrates the beauty of imperfection and features items built with several lifetimes in mind. The collection explores the fluidity and circularity of fashion and pop culture via the use of one-of-a-kind garments and accessories made from materials such as reused leather jackets and football leather, as well as hand-knit fisherman’s sweaters and distressed denim. By reworking a variety of styles and so bridging the gap between the past and the present, Coach subverts the concept of traditional Americana.
According to Vevers, the designer’s goal for the spring collection was to “evolve notions of luxury that place an emphasis on perfection.” Vevers explains, “Inspired by the next generation’s fluid approach to fashion; the collection celebrates pieces that become more beautiful the more they are worn and loved, and references to the past rediscovered in the present.”
Vevers reveals, “To tell this story on the runway, I imagined a Coach world inspired by New York City’s piers, a place with a unique cultural legacy, and a unique feeling of possibility.” The creative director of Coach adds, “I was also thrilled to partner with Lil Nas X on his first runway show as part of our presentation—he is the epitome of the next generation’s inspiring approach to self-expression.”
The singer Lil Nas X says of his debut for Coach, “It was such a fun experience being part of the Coach show and walking on my first runway ever.” Lil Nas X also says, “I’m super excited to make my debut as a face of Coach, a fashion house that believes in a lot of the same things as me. I can’t wait to share all of the other amazing things I’ve been working on with Stuart and his team very soon.”
#RHOA: Season 15 Cast Revealed! Find Out Who’s Been Asked Back and Which Former Cast Members Could Return, Plus Live Viewing
The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 won’t go into production for at least a few more months. But, already, rumors regarding who will be featured on the new season’s cast have begun to swirl.
On the heels of Sunday’s finale episode of season 14, which featured Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Sheree Whitfield, Drew Sidora, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross in full-time roles, an insider is sharing new details about what season 15 may look like, starting with which housewives have been offered returning roles.
“It’s [RHOA] time. I’m told ALL the ladies from this season were given offers to return. That doesn’t mean they all will. Producers are looking to add [two to three] new girls as well, but are not sure about full-time as they have to see how they test when filming with the ladies,” Anthony Dominic tweeted on September 7.
Then, in a second tweet, Anthony said that there’ve been talks about bringing Porsha Williams, who was seen on the show from season five through season 13, back to the show, although nothing has been set in stone in terms of an official offer.
“There have been discussions about bringing Porsha back, but nothing has been offered to her yet,” he wrote.
And Porsha isn’t the only name that’s been tied to RHOA rumors in recent months. Phaedra Parks, who appeared on the series in a full-time role from season three through season nine, has also been named as someone certain fans would like to see back on the series.
That said, Anthony claims that when it comes to Phaedra, she’d rather be featured on a different Real Housewives show.
“Bravo knows many fans want Phaedra back but she’s stated she doesn’t want to come back to [RHOA] and is making a play for [The Real Housewives of Dubai],” he explained of Phaedra, who was featured in a guest role on the debut season of RHODubai earlier this summer.
While Porsha and Phaedra have yet to return to the show where they got their start, Porsha will be seen on the upcoming third season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, which filmed earlier this year in Thailand, and Phaedra starred in the series’ second season, which filmed last year at Dorinda Medley‘s home in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.

Roger Federer Announces Retirement From Tennis After Incredible Career
Roger Federer, one of the most accomplished tennis athletes of all time, announced he’s retiring from competitive tennis after more than two decades and 20 Grand Slam singles titles.
Federer, 41, posted a letter to fans on his social media to make the announcement. He cited injuries over the last few years as a reason to step away. He last won a Grand Slam in 2018 – the Australian Open.
"As many of you know, the past three years have presented me with challenges in the form of injuries and surgeries. I have worked hard to return to full competitive form. But I also know my body’s capacities and limits, and its message to me lately has been clear. I am 41 years old. I have played more than 1500 matches over 24 years. Tennis has treated me more generously than I ever would have dreamt, and now I must recognize when it is time to end my competitive career.
Federer said the Laver Cup next week would be his final ATP event and he will no longer play any Grand Slams or tour events.
"This is a bittersweet decision, because I will miss everything the tour has given me. But at the same time, there is so much to celebrate. I consider myself one of the most fortunate people on Earth. I was given a special talent to play tennis, and I did it all at a level that I never imagined, for much longer than I ever thought possible."
Federer thanked his wife, family, fans and sponsors for supporting him.
"The last 24 years on tour have been an incredible adventure. While it sometimes feels like it went by in 24 hours, it has also been so deep and magical that it seems as it I’ve already lived a full lifetime. I have had the immense fortune to play in front of you in over 40 different countries. I have laughed and cried, felt joy and pain, and most of all I have felt incredibly alive. Through my travels, I have met many wonderful people who will remain friends for life, who consistently took time out of their busy schedules to come watch me play and cheer me on around the globe. Thank you.
"When my love of tennis started, I was a ball kid in my hometown of Basel. I used to watch the players with a sense of wonder. They were like giants to me and I began to dream. My dreams led to me work harder and I started to believe in myself. Some success brought me confidence and I was on my way to the most amazing journey that has led to this day.
"So, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart, to everyone around the world who has helped make the dreams of a young Swiss ball kid come true.
"Finally, to the game of tennis: I love you and will never leave you."
Federer’s announcement comes a few weeks after Serena Williams announced her retirement.
Federer was one of the most dominant tennis players in his era and had some epic matchups with Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic when they were coming through the ranks. At one point, he had won four consecutive U.S. Open titles.
He also added a gold medal in Olympic doubles in 2008 and a silver in singles in 2012.
But over the last few seasons, Federer has been hampered by injuries. He didn’t play any pro events in 2022 and only competed in 19 matches from 2020-2021. His last tournament title came in 2019 at the Swiss Indoors Basel.
Federer will walk away with 1,251 wins and 103 singles titles

R. Kelly is Convicted on Child Pornography Charges
It’s happened again. Less than two months after the disgraced R&B singer was sentenced to 30 years in prison on sex trafficking charges. R. Kelly has now been found guilty on charges of child pornography, based on videos he made of himself sexually abusing his goddaughter, who was 14 at the time, according to the Chicago Tribune.
And the charges don’t stop there. Kelly was also convicted on three of the five counts relating to child enticement.
Kelly and his former business manager, Derrell McDavid, were acquitted on charges of obstruction of justice relating to Kelly’s 2002 child pornography case. Kelly’s other co-defendant, Milton “June” Brown, his former assistant, and McDavid were both acquitted on all charges. All three were also acquitted on charges of conspiracy to receive child pornography, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The jury’s decisions came down rather quickly as closing arguments in the case were done earlier this week on Monday.
More from the Chicago Tribune:
After about 11 hours of deliberation, the jury found Kelly, 55, guilty of three of the first four counts of the indictment, which charged the singer with the sexual exploitation of “Jane” for the purpose of producing child pornography. Those charges carry a minimum of 10 years in prison.
Kelly was acquitted, however, of the count alleging he videotaped himself having sexual contact with “Jane” and prosecution witness Lisa Van Allen. While Van Allen and Jane testified that the threesome occurred and was videotaped, jurors did not view footage from that encounter. Prosecutors said that’s because Kelly’s enablers successfully concealed it.
Throughout the trial, Kelly’s attorneys unsuccessfully submitted a bid to omit jurors who had seen the documentary Surviving R. Kelly. The disgraced singer also opted not to take the stand when his attorneys started their defense weeks ago.
During the trial, the nearly $28,000 that was in the singer’s prison inmate account was seized by the federal government and ordered to be given back to his victims, according to the New York Post.
This conviction is Kelly’s second in less than a year, as the singer was found guilty on nine charges including racketeering and sex trafficking. Now, we await what his sentence will be.
‘The Little Mermaid’ trailer is leaving little Black girls in awe
The live-action adaptation of the classic film will land in theaters next spring.
Last week, Walt Disney Pictures unveiled a teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. In response, fans are celebrating the fact that the film’s main character, Princess Ariel, will be played by Halle Bailey, a move that was first announced back in 2019.
Over the past few days, many have taken to TikTok and Twitter to show videos of Black girls watching the trailer for the first time. The beautiful display of reactions have ranged from shock and awe to pure excitement over a Black woman holding the role, a profound achievement given the divided state of affairs in both the United States and the western world as a whole. One video in particular, from TikTok user @chelipooh, shows a girl responding to the revelation in near disbelief: “It’s Ariel, isn’t it? She’s Black! What? Period! Finally, I’ve been waiting for another Black person…”
Bailey recently took to Instagram to reveal that she’s seen many of the aforementioned videos, thanking all who have helped to spread love and positivity:
“People have been sending these reactions to me all weekend and [I’m] in truly in awe … seeing these little babies reactions makes me so emotional … this means the world to me … thank you all for your unwavering support.”
In a past interview with Stylecaster, Bailey opened up about how “emotional” she became during her performance of The Little Mermaid classic “Part of Your World” — the very song that she can be seen performing in the trailer:
“It was really surreal to film. It was really emotional for me. It was three days of intense being all over the place. I was crying the whole time because I was just like, ‘What the heck?’ We’re all connected to that song and it means a lot to each of us.”
Digital strategist and consultant Leslie Mac decided to create a Twitter thread showing all of the Black girl reactions, as she feels that “we could all use this joy [right now].
Sheryl Lee Ralph Told Jimmy Kimmel ‘To His Face’ That She Did Not Appreciate His Emmys Tomfoolery
Social media users weren’t the only people lighting up Jimmy Kimmel for laying on the ground during Quinta Brunson’s Emmys speech. Her Abbott Elementary co-star (and fellow Emmy winner) Sheryl Lee Ralph apparently gave Kimmel a piece of her mind backstage. During a Television Critics Association panel for Abbott‘s upcoming second season, Brunson played down the Emmys moment and encouraged everyone to tune into Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night where she planned to have a “good time” with the late night host.
Ralph, on the other hand, made it very clear that she did not appreciate Kimmel’s bit and told him as much. Via The Wrap:
“I was absolutely confused. I didn’t know what was going on. But I was like, ‘I wish that man would just get up off of the ground.’ And then I realized it was Jimmy Kimmel, and then I was just, ‘Ooh, the disrespect Jimmy.’ But that’s just me, sorry. I am so sorry.” She added sarcastically, “Oh, it was lovely that he was lying on the floor during her wonderful acceptance speech.”
“I told him too — to his face — and he understood,” Ralph concluded.
With the Kimmel issue settled, and co-star Lisa Ann Walters loving how “so bold” Ralph has become since her Emmys win, the cast dropped some new details about Season 2. According to Decider writer Meghan O’Keefe, Brunson told the panel that the show will follow the teachers “home” to learn where these people came from. However, Walters made a point to note that the family drama in the second season is not about her real family even though her sister will probably think it spills personal details. “It does not, Laura!” Walters quipped.
Abbott Elementary Season 2 premieres September 21 on ABC.
Mary Peltola, first Alaska Native elected to Congress, will be sworn in today
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Democrat Mary Peltola will be sworn in as a member of Congress. But Monday morning she was talking to reporters in front of a locked door to what was Congressman Don Young's office, across the street from the U.S. Capitol.
"I don't have keys yet," she said, between interviews with Time Magazine and CBS. "I'm not officially a member yet, so I am standing here as one of Don's constituents."
Alaskans elected Peltola to fill the remainder of Young's term. Alaska's sole seat in the House has been vacant since he died in March.
Mary Peltola, the first Alaska Native heading to Congress, journeys home to the river\
Peltola is drawing an unusual amount of national media attention as the first Alaska Native elected to Congress, and even more because of her special election win over Sarah Palin, a former Alaska governor endorsed by former President Donald Trump. She's receiving more than 100 interview requests a day, her new spokesman said.
She was surprised to find she was even recognized here on the street.
"There was a young man who said, 'Whoa, did you just win the seat in Alaska?' And so we got a selfie ... it was really sweet," she said.
Her swearing in will be on the House floor at 2:30 p.m. Alaska time on Tuesday. It can be watched here. It will be followed by a ceremonial swearing-in in a reception room off the House floor.
Peltola is in Washington with her seven children (including three step-children), two grandchildren, two sisters and her husband.
The day before the swearing-in was filled with tasks big and small. She had to pick up a special lapel pin that identifies her as a member of the U.S. House, allowing her to waltz past security all over the Capitol. She had to start a series of COVID tests to accept an invitation to the White House to watch President Biden sign a bill Tuesday afternoon.
Plus "a lot of interviews, and I am going to be taking my 16-year-old to make sure that he has a suit that fits," she said.
While she's serving the remainder of Young's term, Peltola will also be campaigning for re-election in November, when she'll be on the ballot with Republicans Sarah Palin and Nick Begich, and Libertarian Chris Bye.
Elated Alaskan Brian Guvenir happened upon Peltola as he was walking up Capitol Hill from the National Mall.
"I came around and I said, 'Oh, there's Mary Peltola!'" said Guvenir, a nurse from Anchorage visiting D.C. while his wife attends a conference here.
Guvenir, an independent, said he voted for Peltola and was impressed with the civil tone she set for her campaign.
"We're cheering for her so much. So much," he said. "I know this is a big task, big responsibility. I know she's somewhat nervous but that's OK. We're cheering her to do this job for all Alaskans."
Peltola also took a moment for a selfie with a pair of Australian tourists.
"God's wisdom on you and your future," Jane Jayes, of Perth, said as they parted.
"I need all the prayers I can get, so thank you so much," Peltola said.
On Monday, she quickly ticked through her to-do list. By the afternoon Peltola had her pin and gained access to her office in the Rayburn House Office Building.
George Clooney Launches His New Filmmaking High School with Mindy Kaling & Don Cheadle
George Clooney speaks on stage at the official opening of Roybal School of Film and Television Production Magnet in Los Angeles on Wednesday (September 14).
The 61-year-old Ticket to Paradise actor joined his co-founders Mindy Kaling and Don Cheadle at the event, where the trio spoke about the importance of the school and welcomed students to the center.
The specialized Los Angeles high school was launched as a “pipeline of diverse, career-ready young people” for Hollywood jobs, particularly below-the-line roles. Learn more about the school here!
“We feel like there’s a real opportunity here, and it’s something that I think we missed in our industry, and I think it’s something that it’s pretty obvious what the solution is — and it’s starting earlier,” George explained to ET at the vent.
He continued, “I just felt like, if you see a hole, you try to fill it, and this is one that it just seemed like — I was in London, and we were staffing up, and because it’s been a very busy time in the industry, it’s hard to find crew, and we need to do a lot better about inclusivity.”
Serena Williams Teases Possible Return to Tennis
Serena Williams is thinking about pulling a Tom Brady. While making an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (September 13), the 23-time Grand Slam champion discussed her decision to retire from tennis and hinted that she was considering the possibility of returning to the sport at some point.
Jimmy asked “There’s no chance of you pulling a Tom Brady and saying, ‘Maybe I’m evolving to coming back,’” to which Serena replied: “You know what? Tom Brady started an amazing trend.”
“That’s what I want to say,” she added with a laugh.
Serena continued, “I think retirement is something that’s super-earned, that people work really hard for. But I just feel like I’m at an age where I definitely have a lot more to give, there’s a lot more I want to do, and so, I’m not going to be relaxing, there is so much more for me and I feel it’s more like an evolution of Serena.”
“And there’s so many things that I’ve been wanting to do for so many years and I have such a passion for tennis for so long that I have never done it but now it’s time for me to, like, try to enjoy those things,” she explained.
She went on to say that prior to her essay in Vogue this year, only one other person knew about her plans to retire.
“The only person that knew at one point about it was my therapist,” Serena shared. “Because verbalizing meant that it was real, and I don’t want it to be real so I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do and I don’t think you really know until, I don’t know, until you say it or it’s actually real.”
“I always thought at the end of it I would just leave quietly and not saying anything and make an announcement on social media,” she continued. “That’s how I always thought I would do it.”
“I’ve been playing tennis since I was littler in a stroller… that’s how long I’ve been around tennis,” Serena added. “But when it came out, I was actually relieved and I didn’t expect to feel that way. I felt pretty good. It’s like when you want to accomplish something and you don’t do it but then when you finally do it you’re like, ‘It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was.?’ I should have done it 10 years ago!”
‘Boy Meets World’ Actress Trina McGee Says Show’s Creator Told Her To ‘Turn Down’ Her Blackness On Set
“Boy Meets World” actress Trina McGree revealed that the show’s creator allegedly told her to “turn down” her blackness while filming episodes involving her character, Angela Moore.
McGree appeared on an episode of the “Pod Meets World” podcast, where she discussed her experience on set with her former costars, Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle. She said she would change her speaking voice on set at the suggestion of showrunner Michael Jacobs. He reportedly told her to “just turn down the Telma Hopkins about eight notches,” referencing Harriet Winslow’s sister from Family Matters, while filming an episode centered on Angela.
“Coming from Black sitcoms, I always had to have like a Black meter. On ‘Boy Meets World,’ my Black meter was probably down to about a two,”
Friedle also apologized to McGree again about his “Aunt Jemima” comments in Monday’s episode. In 2020, McGree went on her official Twitter account and revealed Fridle’s racially-charged comments about her on-set behavior.
“I don’t count that as my entire experience on the show,” she clarified. We need everyone else to be over it, too,”
She told her former costars that they were lucky they didn’t have to experience what she went through or think about their behavior. “Sometimes, it was was too much,” McGree explained.
According to Insider, she expressed regrets about a Daily News opinion piece written by her publicist and ex-husband. They claimed she liked that the show didn’t address the fact that Angela and Shawn were in an interracial relationship.
Zendaya’s Mother Says She Had To ‘Name Drop’ Her Daughter At Emmys After Being Stopped From Approaching Her Table: ‘I’m Her Mom’
Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stoermer, had to check security at the Emmys on Sunday when she was stopped from heading over to her daughter’s table before she would go on to win the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama. The 26-year-old has now become the only Black actress to have secured this particular award for a second time, so one can only imagine how proud Stoermer must have felt when Zendaya’s name was read out.
Well, she ended up taking to her Instagram Story this week to recall how she had to “name drop” her daughter just so that she could approach Zendaya’s table because security at the venue was giving her a hard time for not having any credentials. But it appeared that letting them know she was Zendaya’s mother was enough for her to finally be reunited with the “Euphoria” star before the big moment.
“[I] made my way to Z before they awarded her the Emmy and gave her the biggest hug and said… breathe!!!” Stoermer began. ‘The man who tried to stop me said “‘where are your credentials?’” she wrote. “I said ‘i’m zendaya’s mom’ and kept walking!! hahaha! i never name drop like that but i have to do it.”
Stoermer accompanied her caption with a doting snapshot of her and Zendaya after her major win followed by a string of other photos including her “Euphoria” co-stars, where she added, “I love this group of people… When Z is working on Euphoria, I don’t worry about her! @samlev00 and @ashlevinson thank you!!”
Zendaya became the youngest actress to win the award for lead actress at the Emmys back in 2020, and this year, she made history by becoming the first Black actress to earn the gong for a second time, after beating off some stiff competition which includes names such as Jennifer Aniston, Jodie Comer, and Olivia Colman.
Fans raved about Zendaya’s performance as Rue in season two of the hit HBO series, which premiered back in January. During her speech, the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” star expressed her gratitude after her historic win, before going on to pay tribute to those suffering from addiction.
“My greatest wish for Euphoria was that it could help heal people,” she said. “I just want to say thank you to everyone who has shared their story with me. I want you to know that anyone who has loved a Rue or feels like they are a Rue, I want you to know I’m so grateful for your stories and I carry them with me, and I carry them with her.”
Linda Evangelista dubbed ‘worst’ celebrity to work with
An Australian PR maven has recounted a 1996 phone call with supermodel Linda Evangelista, in which she allegedly “went berserk” over a snippy newspaper headline.
Max Markson, dubbed the “king of spin,” claimed the Canadian model was the worst star he’s worked with throughout his four decades in the industry.
“I shouldn’t say this but Linda Evangelista was definitely the worst,” he alleged on an episode of the Life, Money & Love podcast, hosted by Dylan Mullan.
The Markson Sparks! agency founder then detailed an alleged incident in which Evangelista, 57, wore sweats to a treadmill launch party hosted by Aussie TV legend Ita Buttrose.
When the supermodel asked him what she should wear to the event at Sydney’s swanky Catalina Restaurant, he allegedly advised her to wear “something to go on the treadmill and then change into something beautiful.”
However, he claimed she wore a hoodie and shorts to the event, which led to a newspaper headline the following day comparing her ‘fit to something a cleaner would wear.
“The next day, my phone starts ringing at six o’clock, which always means there’s something wrong,” Markson said.
“And Linda Evangelista wants to give me a right mouthful, which she does, because in The Sydney Morning Herald that day, it said: ‘Linda Evangelista was dressed like she was going out to clean the loo [toilet] on a Sunday morning.'”
He continued, “She went berserk at me! Not that I wrote the story, but because I hadn’t advised her what to wear. And there was no point in trying to tell her that I did.”
Markson claimed she went on to “badmouth” him at a charity dinner that night and wouldn’t allow him to speak to her.
Markson’s story, however, left less of an impression on Evangelista, who told Page Six in a statement on Wednesday, “I have fond memories of that trip to Australia, a country I love to visit. I was there promoting a treadmill collab. I don’t remember him.”
Evangelista most recently returned to the modeling world when she walked in the Fendi show as part of New York Fashion Week this month.
It followed a six-year absence from the spotlight after a “botched” cosmetic procedure that she claimed left her “deformed.”
She announced on Instagram in July that she had settled a lawsuit out of court after she sued CoolSculpting’s parent company, Zeltiq Aesthetics Inc., for $50 million in damages.
“I look forward to the next chapter of my life with friends and family, and am happy to put this matter behind me. I am truly grateful for the support I have received from those who have reached out,” she wrote in a statement.

Mero Reveals Whether He And Desus Will Ever Reunite In The Future
It was announced nearly two months ago that Desus and Mero were going their separate ways following a dispute regarding their manager and the Showtime network. While there seems to be no bad blood between the two personalities, it also doesn’t look like the two are in a rush to reunite for another TV show or podcast.
Mero recently spoke on the split in a recent interview with Blackbird Spyplane, saying that he and Desus singed individual deals and that the show was supposed to eventually end and they would then go off and do their own things.
“OK, super high-road and super-clean, but honest: When we signed to Showtime, we signed individual deals,” Mero said. “It was always, We’re gonna do our own things at some point. The way it ended seemed mad abrupt and weird, but that’s the way T.V. is. People pull the plug on T.V. shit all the time.”
He went on to dispel rumors that “creative disagreements” were not the reason for the split, but a disagreement between the two and Showtime to take the show back to its “roots” was major.
“That was the beginning of the end,” Mero said. “It was giving me mad anxiety, but I’m a first-generation immigrant kid, like, You never quit your job before you have a new one.” Mero said that at that point, Desus said “fuck it” and ended the show as well as their podcast.
When asked whether or not they would ever team back up in the future, Mero responded: “I don’t know.”
“I don’t know, man. I feel like—maybe? Never say never. Right now I think we’re on different trajectories as far as what we wanna do.”

Steph Curry Expected to Close $1 Billion Deal with Under Armour
If it wasn’t already clear, Stephen Curry is set for life. The Golden State Warriors basketball player is rumored to close a huge deal with the sports equipment company, Under Armour.
In probably one of the most significant sports contracts in history, Steph Curry could receive $1 billion from Under Armour.
The reportedly “nearly locked” deal will secure the future of the NBA superstar for a lifetime. The contract will run over $1 billion and be a lifetime endorsement deal. Though things are so close, Steph Curry hasn’t always had the best relationship with the brand.
In an interview for Rolling Stone, the recent graduate explained the details of the rocky relationship with CEO Kevin Plank. The drama was over his signature shoe.
“There wasn’t quite an understanding of what it took to run a business like that properly. So, yeah, I got mad.” However, that’s all in the past.
Curry’s current deal with the sports goods brand is set to expire in 2024. But all of that could change very soon.
In addition to the lifetime contract, Curry may have a new subsidiary brand with Under Armour, similar to Nike’s deal with Micahel Jordan and LeBron James.
Azealia Banks Admits She Lied About Cardi B’s Grandma Doing Witchcraft on Nicki Minaj
Whew, a lot has been happening this week on the internet and it’s only Wednesday.
Sunday night, Nicki Minaj took to Queen Radio to air out dirty laundry and spilled the tea on some of her industry rivals. Among a number of topics, one of the claims the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper made was that she was informed that a particular rapper tried doing voodoo on her.
“What if one of your favorite rappers went and did voodoo?” Nicki said on Queen Radio.
Minaj continued, “And so f*cking dumb, went talking about it. Not only texting about it, but went talking to people and didn’t know that somebody was in air reach…that knows me very well.”
“Imagine your self-esteem being so low, that you’re resorting to voodoo and witchcraft as if you don’t have to pay it back,” Minaj said.
“Am I that much of a f*cking threat?”
Well, Azealia Banks entered the chat Tuesday and claimed she was the person who told Nicki Minaj that Cardi B did voodoo on her, while also admitting she made the whole thing up.
“I lied to you stupid hoe.” Banks posted on her Instagram Story. “Cardi’s grandma didn’t do witchcraft on you.”

She continued in a voiceover, saying that “the easiest form of witchcraft is to tell someone that it’s being done on them.”
“Someone with a weak mind — they get paranoid. They start turning on themselves. And that is exactly what’s happening,” Banks continues.
In a lengthy Instagram story, Banks also accused Nicki of stalking Cardi B. She alleges Nicki is still “mad” five years later because she “probably originally wanted to be Cardi B’s friend.”
Azealia Banks’ attack on Nicki went on in a separate story accusing the rapper of drug use.
Amid reports that Nicki plans to sue bloggers for defamation, Banks also wrote that she hopes that Joy Reid sues Nicki.
If you recall, last year the Trinidadian-born performer ripped into the MSNBC host after she called her out on her vaccine stance.
Nicki Minaj Suing Social Media Personality “Nosey Heaux” For Alleging She’s a “Cokehead”
Nicki Minaj and her legal team are gearing up to sue any social media account that makes outrageous claims about her.A lawsuit has been filed against a woman name Marley Green, also known as “Nosey Heaux,” on social media. On Monday, she shared a video alleging that Nicki is doing coke.
In the video, Green is heard saying, Nicki is “shoving all this cocaine, shoving in all this cocaine up her nose. Allegedly. Thank you. Allegedly. But we all know it’s true. “F***-listen, I can’t even say allegedly with that ’cause I, we all know it’s true. I’m not saying allegedly on that. Nicki Minaj is a cokehead.”
The lawsuit also claims that Green took shots at her 1-year-old son, saying that her bloodline is “disgusting” and that her son will need therapy because “Your baby is going to be a rapist, too.”
Legal documents call Green a “nobody,” “whose main accomplishments in life have been a string of criminal charges, bail jumping, and bad debts.” Nicki’s attorney acknowledges that Green’s post has received some attention and that some users may believe what her video claims.
So far, the “Cokehead” video on Twitter has received more than 2,000 likes and more than 250 retweets, according to Nicki’s lawyer, Judd Burstein.
Nicki is suing “Nosey Heaux” for defamation, and she wants a jury to award her at least $75,000.
Burstein said, “When this case is over, she will no longer be permitted to use the name “Nosey Heaux” because we will take her trademark from her when she does not have enough money to pay the judgment. Anyone else who spreads lies about Nicki will suffer a similar fate.”
He added, “My marching orders are to aggressively sue anyone with a media or social media following who damages her with intentional lies. Eventually, the lesson will be learned.”
