#RHOA: Nene Leakes Reveals She’s Writing A Book That Will Seemingly Addresses Ongoing Discrimination Lawsuit Against Bravo & Andy Cohen
Reality TV star Nene Leakes is ready to tell it all in regards to her allegations against Bravo.
The New York native took to Twitter recently to once again speak on mistreatment she allegedly experienced as an employee of the network. Nene Leakes, 54, launched a discrimination lawsuit against Bravo and affiliates, including Andy Cohen, accusing them of fostering a racially toxic work environment. Leakes has been vital to the network’s success in reality TV, starring in the unscripted drama series Real Housewives Of Atlanta for a total of 10 seasons.
After retweeting a few messages of support from who have been supporting Leakes through the lawsuit, the actress tweeted:“Everybody can see what they did to me! Nobody is stupid!”
“This treatment has been going on for yearssss!”
Continuing, the entertainment entrepreneur who has “BLACKLISTED” as her instagram bio, wrote:
“Just remember, abusers want power over their victims! They want to break you! Most abuse takes place behind closed doors (hint: this is why you don’t know or see everything) In the surface it looks fine right”
Back in June of this year, we reported that Leakes was allegedly in talks with Andy Cohen and Bravo to potentially settle the suit outside of court. However it seems things may have come to a standstill. The TV personality accused Andy of getting her Blacklisted after she called them out for racist behavior. A large part the accusations include actions by her fellow RHOA castmate Kim Zolciak-Biermann, who Leakes claims made racially charged remarks to her repeatedly with no consequence.
After her tweets about Bravo, Leakes left more thoughts revealing she’s working on a book. Making it clear that she has receipts to back up her claims against the network she wrote:
“Receiptssssssss! Happy Sunday” And followed with: “Working on a book now”
The media personality also expressed her excitement for the novel release via twitter, writing:
“The book I have been writing for the past year is gonna be a MUST READ! I just can’t wait to share it”
Will you be reading Nene’s upcoming book?

#HipHopNews: Diddy Reflects On 25th Anniversary Of 'No Way Out'
It’s been 25 years since Puff Daddy changed hip-hop with his groundbreaking debut No Way Out.
In honor of the milestone, the rap icon reflected on the album’s legacy and the profound impact The Notorious B.I.G. had on his music.
“Biggie inspired me to become an artist and make this album, so it’s bittersweet to look back on such a pivotal turning point in my life and career that turned Bad Boy into an unstoppable dynasty and cemented our place in Hip Hop history!” Puff wrote on Instagram.
The project remains a classic to this day, spawning hits including “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down,” “It’s All About the Benjamins,” “Been Around the World,” and the Biggie tribute “I’ll Be Missing You,” which became the first rap song to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it remained for 11 consecutive weeks.
“To have countless hit records from so many timeless artists that became global superstars, it will be hard for anyone to ever create a moment in music that changed the culture like No Way Out!” Diddy added.
No Way Out was released on July 22, 1997 via Bad Boy and Arista Records. Produced by the powerhouse production team known as “The Hitmen,” the 17-track set featured the Bad Boy family including Biggie, Ma$e, Lil’ Kim, The LOX, Faith Evans, and 112, plus JAY-Z, Busta Rhymes, Ginuwine, and Foxy Brown. It won the Grammy for Best Rap Album in 1998 and remains Diddy’s best-selling album, with over 7 million copies sold in the U.S.
The 52-year-old mogul is now gearing up for the next chapter of his career. Earlier this week, he premiered a video for his latest single “Gotta Move On” featuring Bryson Tiller off his upcoming album, which will be released via his newly-launched R&B label Love Records.
A special digital deluxe edition of No Way Out arrived at streaming services on Friday featuring the original album, plus 15 rare tracks, including remixes, radio mixes, and instrumentals.
Nick Cannon Welcomes Eighth Child, Legendary, With Model Bre Tiesi
Nick Cannon and model Bre Tiesi have welcomed their son, Legendary Love Cannon, who was born at 1:28 a.m. on June 28. The baby boy, Cannon’s eighth child, weighed 8 pounds and 10 ounces and was 21 inches tall.
Bre documented her natural labor and delivery in a vlog, which she posted on YouTube. Legendary’s name appeared on a neon sign in his nursery.
“I did it. An all natural unmedicated home birth,” Bre wrote on Instagram. “This was the most humbling / limit pushing yet awakening and completely empowering experience. I can’t thank my team enough for delivering my son safely. This experience has changed me forever and I couldn’t of asked for a more amazing and supportive partner.”
She went on to thank Nick who was by her side throughout the entire process. “Daddy showed the f up for us.. I couldn’t of done it without you. π I can’t believe he’s here π€.”
In her vlog, Bre revealed that her son was born with a long crown caused by a nucal hand. He needed respiratory support at first because he wasn’t crying, but he eventually did. “Finally baby cried, best sound ever,” she said.
There were intense moments that challenged her throughout the labor, but it was all worth it in the end. “I would do it a million times over to see his beautiful face,” she said.
Back in January, Nick confirmed that he was expecting another child after photos from Bre’s baby shower leaked online. He decided to hold off on making an announcement because he was still grieving his 5-month-old son with Alyssa Scott, Zen, who died from brain cancer in December.
Legendary is the latest addition to the Cannon family. The “Masked Singer” host has twins, Moroccan and Monroe, 11, with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He also has a son Golden, 5, and 19-month-old daughter Powerful with Brittany Bell. Additionally, he and Abby De La Rosa share 13-month-old twins, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir.
“I ain’t looking to populate the Earth completely, but I’m definitely looking forward to taking care and loving all the children that I currently have,” he told E! News in May.
And there may be even more children in his future. During an interview with Angela Yee’s “Lip Service” podcast last month, the father of eight hinted that he is expecting more kids later this year.
“The stork is on the way,” he told the hosts. “If you thought the numbers I put up in 2021… It was a lot of kids last year.”
Adele Sets New Dates For Postponed Las Vegas Residency
Just several weeks after Adele said she stood by her decision earlier this year to postpone the Las Vegas residency, the British singer has announced the rescheduled dates: The “Weekends With Adele” residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas will now take place from November 18, 2022, to March 25, 2023.
In addition to the 24 rescheduled shows, 8 new shows have been added to the engagement.
The new dates were announced today on Ticketmaster.
Earlier this month, Adele said she stood by her decision to postpone the residency that was to have begun in January 2022 and run through April 2022, explaining that the show wasn’t yet “good enough.”
“I definitely felt everyone’s disappointment and I was devastated and I was frightened about letting them down,” she said in a BBC interview, “and I thought I could pull it together and make it work and I couldn’t, and I stand by that decision.”
Wendy Williams’ brother claims ‘heartless host REFUSED’ to let son Kevin Jr into her $4.5M NYC penthouse on her birthday
WENDY Williams' brother has claimed that the "heartless" host "refused" to let her son Kevin Jr. up into her $4.5 million New York City penthouse for her birthday this week.
Tommy Williams took to YouTube live to trash his famous sister after he said her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., 21, came up from Florida to see his mother at her New York City apartment for her birthday.
When reached out to Tommy regarding his allegations against Wendy, he said he is now involved with her eventual podcast project, and that he no longer wanted to discuss his scathing diatribe which he publicly posted, though he did not retract his statements either.
"Wendy's birthday is tomorrow," the 55-year-old teacher said on YouTube live from his Florida home on Sunday.
"It should be a great time, a great time for family, a great time for her son, but it's not. It's a great time for everybody inside of Wendy's head."
"And I don't know who those people are. It could just be a cloud of people inside of her head that aren't people if you could figure that out."
"Her son is up there to spend what could be monumental time with his mother, that is if she opens the door," Tommy said of Kevin Jr., who was presumably outside of Wendy's apartment and not being allowed inside.
Tommy, who spent over 15 minutes lashing out at his sister, added: "My nephew is trying to get in there now to see his mother. He was with me yesterday, we talked about the trip. We smiled & laughed."
"First thing this morning- first flight taken out. Going up there & excited. I was excited for him. He landed safely, reached out, great. And now the moment of truth- as beckons to see his mother at the pearly gates- to see Wendy.
"She is not our celebrity. She's not the family celebrity. She's a member and she has her son out there like he's the paparazzi."
"Trash. That's what she is for doing that. She's trash," Tommy added, while also saying Wendy is "mean, she's abrupt, she's heartless."
Responding to The Sun, Wendy's manager, Will Selby said: "Wendy privately enjoyed her birthday with her friends and family, including a surprise visit from her son. The celebrations included him."
The Sun also reached out to Wendy's son Kevin Jr. for comment.
The younger brother took issue with interviews Wendy has given recently, specifically a not suitable for work one, in which she repeatedly said she wanted "to get f***ed."
"She talks about how much she wants to bang, how much she wants somebody to bang her out. She's got a son, she's got a 91-year-old father, she's got a mother looking down at her from the heavens," he claimed.
Tommy continued she has a "host of fans who look at her as she selfishly says how she feels about her direction in life and that's the best choice of words you can come up with? Instead of keeping your mouth shut."
"Outside of me, outside of her son, those are the men in her life right now. Those are the men in her life like those other men in her life who really care.
"There's a lot of men, a lot of people out, there there's a lot of people that I guess she'd like to be involved with and stuff but who's gonna be there when it counts?" Tommy posted.
The disappointed 55-year-old continued: "Talk about dragging, she's dragging everybody, namely her son. She's selfish. One thing about Wendy is she's always been selfish. All the way back. Way before the Wendy show, way before."
"Wendy's brain, she can't get a hold of her thoughts and she's holding too many lives in the balance; you know while she's doing her thing."
The disappointed brother concluded: "You can't touch celebrities, not even with the heart. The biggest tool, the biggest piece of emotion is love. You can't touch a celebrity with love and concern."
Desus and Mero Reportedly Broke Up Over Feud Regarding Longtime Manager
Desus and Mero shocked the comedy world this week when they abruptly announced that they would no longer be working together on any creative projects. Many casual viewers of their Showtime series felt blindsided by the news, though diehard fans of the duo had suspected something was up due to passive aggressive social media activity.
But a new report from Puck gives the clearest explanation yet for why the two comedians decided to end their hit show and podcasting empire. According to five sources, the rift between Desus Nice and The Kid Mero stemmed from an argument about their longtime manager Victor Lopez.
Lopez had backed their career from the start, and was also credited as a producer on their Showtime series. But the cable network allegedly requested that Lopez stop working on the show due to accusations that he behaved abusively toward employees. According to the report, Desus agreed with the network’s decision and was prepared to cut ties with Lopez. But Mero saw the situation differently and felt that they owed it to Lopez to reciprocate the loyalty he had showed them for years.
Their disagreement led to an increasingly icy relationship on set, and they stopped sharing representatives. When they were unable to smooth things over, they ultimately decided to end their professional relationship.
The reporting is the most substantive attempt yet at explaining why Desus and Mero felt compelled to terminate such a successful partnership. When the breakup was originally announced, a Showtime spokesperson told IndieWire that: “Showtime’s late-night talk show ‘Desus & Mero’ will not be returning for a fifth season. Its final episode aired Thursday, June 23. Desus Nice and The Kid Mero will be pursuing separate creative endeavors moving forward.”
“Desus Nice and The Kid Mero have made a name for themselves in comedy and in the late-night space as quick-witted cultural commentators,” the statement continued. “Throughout its run, the series won a WGA Award, received Critics’ Choice nominations and scored interviews with President Barack Obama, President Joe Biden, Derek Jeter, Missy Elliott, Denzel Washington, Charlize Theron, David Letterman, Yo-Yo Ma and many more. They have been brilliant hosts, and we wish them the best, along with the team at JAX Media and the incredible crew.”
Britney’s comeback! Spears records ‘Tiny Dancer’ duet with Elton John
Britney Spears is making her much-anticipated comeback by secretly recording a duet with Elton John of his song “Tiny Dancer,” Page Six has exclusively learned.
The pop star, 40, quietly met with John, 75, at a Beverly Hills recording studio last week to cut a new take on his beloved 1971 classic.
The track is set to be released by Universal Music next month, sources tell us.
“This was Elton’s idea, and Britney is a huge fan. They have recorded a remix of ‘Tiny Dancer’ as a full duet — and it is incredible,” one music industry insider shares.
“Britney was in the studio in Beverly Hills last week with Elton for the super-secret recording session overseen by uber-producer Andrew Watt.”
Watt, whose studio is in the basement of his home, has produced albums for the likes of Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Pearl Jam and Ozzy Osbourne and won the 2021 Grammy Award for Producer of the Year.
“They’ve already played it for people at their record label, and everybody is freaking out. It is so good,” the source teases. “They are saying this is going to be the song of the summer.
“Britney is officially back. She’s back to work, and she’s super excited.”
Spears has been hinting that she is ready to get back to work after her nearly 14-year conservatorship was terminated in November 2021.
On July 15, the singer shared an Instagram video of herself singing a new, edgier rendition of her 1998 hit, “…Baby One More Time.”
She wrote in the caption, “I haven’t shared my voice in an extremely long time … maybe too long.”
Spears also explained in the post how much she wanted to release an updated rendition of the track found on her diamond-selling debut album of the same name but that her plans had been thwarted by her conservatorship.
This will be the Grammy winner’s first official single since 2016’s “Slumber Party,” which appeared on her album “Glory.”
The source tells us that the appetite for Spears’ comeback is so big that she also scored “a record-breaking deal” from the label to record with John.
“Tiny Dancer” was written by John and Bernie Taupin. It was originally released on John’s 1971 album, “Madman Across the Water,” and then as a single in 1972. It was ranked as No. 47 on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time in 2021.
Reps for Spears, John and their record label didn’t immediately comment.
YOUR FIRST LOOK! The Murder Of Emmett Till, Will Leave You Choked Up
This March, President Joe Biden signed into law a bill that should have been in the books long ago: a federal ban on lynching. It’s called the Emmett Till Antilynching Act, named after the African American14-year-old who in 1955 was brutally murdered by armed racists in Mississippi. There have been plenty of books and poems and songs and documentaries about Till’s killing — and about his mother, Mamie Till-Mobley, who became a civil rights activist — but there has never been a big narrative movie. That omission has finally been corrected.
Monday saw the debut trailer for Till, produced by Whoopi Goldberg and starring The Harder They Fall and Station Eleven’s Danielle Deadwyler as Till-Mobley. It’s a devastating promo, showing Till-Mobley shipping her young son (Jalyn Hall) from Chicago down to the Mississippi Delta to visit relatives. It’s there that he’s accused of flirting with a white woman, leading to his abduction and murder — and to his mother making sure the world knows where racism leads.
WATCH
Till, which hits theaters in October, arrives as white nationalism is again on the rise in America, and as Donald Trump allies let loose telling Freudian slips. And it comes as headways are being made in creating more diversity in Hollywood, which is one reason why there’s finally a big movie about Emmett Till.
Till arrives in theaters on October 7.
Kyler Murray’s New Contract Includes A Clause Making Him To Do 4 Hours Of ‘Independent Study’
Kyler Murray is now, officially, the face of the Arizona Cardinals franchise for the foreseeable future after inking a 5-year, $230.5 million extension with the team after an offseason where there were genuine concerns over whether the two sides could reach an agreement.
That contract is a massive investment in Murray from Arizona, but it’s the going rate for a top-tier quarterback in the NFL, which Murray has shown he can be at his best. From the Cardinals perspective, giving Murray that much money means they want a bit more consistency and commitment, and that’s not just implied with the deal, but written directly into it. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network provided a rather shocking clause from the contract on Monday that requires Murray to do four hours of “independent study” each week (aka, watch film) on his own.
Now, for most elite quarterbacks, this is not a significant ask as many of the best are film junkies (sometimes to an upsetting and, potentially, unnecessary degree) who will watch far more four hours on their own. That the Cardinals included this section in the contract seems to indicate that wasn’t exactly the approach of Murray previously, and they don’t just expect that to change now that he’s being paid $46 million per year but are demanding so.
Maybe this happens more than we think, but it is pretty funny phrasing, because “independent study” is usually something you’d get told to do in college, not as an NFL player.

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Step Out For First Time Since Welcoming First Child Together
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are treating themselves to a date night out!
The couple, and brand new parents to a baby boy, were spotted out in New York City this past weekend on a late night dinner date just a few months after welcoming their first baby together.
Rihanna wore a hot black corset, dark jeans and a black leather jacket. Meanwhile, Rocky kept it more casual in a pair of long shorts and a graphic tee.
While this sighting is the couple’s first outing since their son’s birth, Rocky was seen out just last month on a solo outing.
Not much is known about Rihanna and Rocky‘s new baby, however, Rocky did open up about becoming a father for the first time.
“I hope to raise open-minded children,” he shared. “Not people who discriminate. And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents.”
Manhattan DA exonerates sixth Central Park Five co-defendant Steven Lopez
Steven Lopez was one of the teenagers arrested alongside the infamous Central Park Five — Kevin Richardson, Antron McCray, Raymond Santana, Korey Wise, and Yusef Salaam. Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg dropped the charges against Lopez on Monday (July 25).
Bragg said in court as he filled the motion, “Mr. Lopez was charged and pleaded guilty in the face of false statements, unreliable forensic analysis and immense external pressure.” Lopez, who never went to trial with the other boys, was charged for the 1989 assault and rape of a female jogger in Central Park. He struck a deal with prosecutors to avoid trial for the rape charge and was charged with assaulting and robbing a male jogger. Lopez served four years in prison before being released in the 1990s.
In February 2002, DNA evidence revealed that none of the teens participated in the assault or rape. The DA’s office dropped the rape convictions the same year. The same evidence led to the conviction of Matias Reyes, who confessed to sexually assaulting five other women. “All of the factors taken together – as set forth in our motion papers – show what the people believe are unique circumstances, combined with Mr. Lopez’s youth, made his plea involuntary – and therefore unconstitutional,” Bragg said.
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ellen Biben agreed with Bragg’s argument. So Biben granted the motion, vacated the plea, and dismissed Lopez’s indictment. “Mr. Lopez, we wish you peace and healing,” Biben said. The defendant, who is now 48 years-old, shook his attorneys hand and emotionally said, “Thank you,” with tears in his eyes.
The Central Park Five, which became known as The Exonerated Five, received a $40 million settlement from the city for their wrongful convictions. Lopez didn’t receive a dime from the settlement and his conviction remained in place until 2022. Additionally, there’s a seventh defendant — Michael Briscoe — who also pleaded guilty to the assaulting another male jogger.

“I’ve worked so hard to reach my goals and live my dreams,” said Wicker at one point in her post.
She credits her success to “extremely good time management skills” and the fact that she is “very disciplined.” In 2021, she became NASA’s youngest intern… ever.
R. Kelly Blames Ex-Wife for His Sexual Misconduct Behavior
*R. Kelly claims his ex-wife Drea Kelly is to blame for his sexual misconduct behavior.
The disgraced R&B star unpacked his childhood issues and past relationships during multiple sessions with a jailhouse doctor and the psychiatric evaluation report was submitted to the court by Kelly’s lawyer.
RadarOnline.com obtained the report and in it, R. Kelly reportedly “blamed his lengthy estrangement from his three children on his problems with his ex-wife,” the outlet writes.
Kelly and Drea were married from 1996 to 2009 and they share 3 adult children: 24-year-old Joann Kelly, 22-year-old Jaya, and 20-year-old Robert Kelly Jr. Per the report, Kelly told his doctor that the marriage ended because Dre wanted to pursue a career in dancing, “which was something they had discussed prior to the marriage.”
Kelly said Drea had “agreed to be a housewife and raise the children prior to the marriage.”
He also admitted to being estranged from his children due to his conflict with Drea. According to Radar, the report noted that “Mr. Kelly stated that his sexual history related to conflict with his ex-wife of subsequent estrangement from his children.”
Drea has previously opened up about the alleged abuse she suffered while married to R. Kelly.
Kelly claims his “problematic sexual behaviors” made it impossible for him to sustain a romantic relationship and maintain a platonic relationship, per Radar’s report.
Kelly’s daughter Joanna (AKA Buku Abi) previously spoke out about the sexual assault and rape allegations leveled against her father.
“If my silence to all that is happening comes off as careless,” she said in a statement.
“That is my last intention,” she added. “I pray for all the families & women who have been affected by my father’s actions. Trust, I have been deeply affected by all of this.”
“Anyone that knows me personally or has been following me throughout the years knows that I do not have a relationship with my father,” Buku revealed.
“The same monster you all confronting me about is my father,” she said. “I am well aware of who and what he is. I grew up in that house.”
Kelly was recently sentenced to 30 years in prison after a New York jury found him guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering. He faces similar charges in a separate trial in Chicago next month.

The Weather Channel Issues Apology After Iowa Station Broadcasts Racial Slur: ‘This Is Your Weather My N****rs’
What is going on over there in Des Moines, Iowa?! The Weather Channel recently took to its official social media account to issue an apology after a station in Des Moines broadcasted a racial slur.
The Weather Channel Iowa Station Broadcasts Racial Slur: ‘This Is Your Weather My N****rs’
A journalist named Matthew Keys tweeted that Iowa’s ‘Local on the 8s‘ station showed an offensive racial slur in the middle of their weather report.
He captioned the post and said, “I’ve blurred it, but I’m pretty sure you can figure out what it said.” The post graphic read, “Hello Des Moines, This is your weather my N****rs.”
Matthew also updated his followers on Twitter and replied to the original thread the following: “‘This did not originate with us, and we are in the process of investigating it further,’ a spokesperson for The Weather Channel said. It likely originated at the cable head-end, according to a source, though the network is still trying to figure it out.”
Several Twitter users commented and seconded the theory. One person speculated that “This came from the cable provider.” They added, “TWC has computer units at cable headends to produce the local on the 8s, and a rogue cable employee must’ve messed with the files and caused it to say that.”
The Weather Channel Issues Apology After Iowa Station Broadcasts Racial Slur: ‘This Is Your Weather My N****rs’
After having one of its stations’ broadcasts go viral — in a bad way — officials handling the official The Weather Channel Facebook account sent out an apology regarding the matter.
They wrote: “A graphic during The Weather Channel cable network’s ‘Local on the 8s’ presentation in Des Moines last evening included a racial slur. We removed this graphic as soon as we learned of it. This did not originate with us, and we are in the process of investigating it further. We apologize to our viewers.”
According to The New York Post, a similar situation occurred back in 2019 with a meteorologist in New York.
The Post says that Rochester meteorologist Jeremy Kappell was fired from his NBC station after referring to a park named after legendary civil rights leader Martin Luther King as “Martin Luther C**n King Jr. Park.”
It is reported that Kappell claimed his offensive remark was an unintentional “verbal slip.” However, he was still fired.
Meanwhile, MLK’s daughter Bernice King in turn felt that the fired weatherman should not have been terminated. She instead claimed that instead, Kappell should have been demoted or rather sent to implicit bias training to correct his mistake.
Famed weatherman Al Roker also spoke out on the issue and defend the disgraced forecaster.
At the time, he took to his Twitter and said: “I think @JeremyKappell made an unfortunate flub and should be given the chance to apologize on @news10nbc Anyone who has done live tv and screwed up (google any number of ones I’ve done) understands.”
Charlamagne Tha God Thinks It Was Kanye Who Threw Objects At Kid Cudi During His Rolling Loud Set
As previously reported over the weekend, Kid Cudi walked off stage mid-set at the Rolling Loud Miami festival.
Footage posted online initially showed Cudi being hit in the head with what appears to be a water bottle while performing. The entertainer is later seen furious and even threatened to walk off the stage. “I will f*cking leave. If I get hit with one more f*cking thing — if I see one more f*cking thing on this fucking stage, I’m leaving,” he said. “Don’t f*ck with me.” He eventually walked off stage as more items were being thrown at him. To make matters worse, Cudi who is reportedly not on good terms with Kanye, had fans chanting “Wesr” as he left the stage. Kanye, who initially dropped out, then made a surprise appearance with Lil Durk, which made the crowd go wild.
While we still haven’t heard from Cudi yet, many people are still trying to figure out who was the culprit behind the water throwing. The hosts of the Breakfast Club weighed in on the big topic and Charlemagne Tha God says he thinks it was Ye himself who did it!
The radio host said: I think it was Kanye. The reason why I think it was Kanye is ‘cause of the way he be in disguise. You don’t know if it was really Kanye on stage or it’s really Kanye throwing stuff at Cudi,” he joked.
Following the incident the Rolling Loud team spoke out in support of Kid Cudi who didn’t get the best treatment during his set.
“Rolling Loud is a family. Our fans, the artists, and everyone involved need to look out for each other. Share the love and be respectful to everyone. We love you, Cudi. Please take care of each other and let’s have an amazing day 2!” The statement read.
Why are Ye and Cudi Not On Good Terms Right Now?
The two rappers had a public falling out back in February when Ye slammed Cudi for being friends with Pete Davidson., the SNL star who is currently dating his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Kanye said at the time, “Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he’s friends with you know who,” West wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post.
Cudi responded by calling West a “dinosaur.” However, he then later accused West of lying in a series of tweets. “God opens the door so the wrong people can exit ur life,” he wrote on Twitter.
Lil Wayne mourns death of NOLA cop who saved his life as child
Lil Wayne is mourning the death of a New Orleans police officer who heroically saved his life when the rapper was 12 years old.
The five-time Grammy Award winner, 39, took to Instagram on Monday to pen some heartfelt words about Robert “Uncle Bob” Hoobler, who rushed to his aid after a childhood suicide attempt in 1994.
“Everything happens for a reason. I was dying when I met u at this very spot,” the rapper wrote alongside an image of Hoobler. “U refused to let me die. Everything that doesn’t happen, doesn’t happen for a reason.”
“That reason being you and faith. RIP uncle Bob. Aunt Kathie been waiting for u. I’ll love & miss u both and live for us all,” he added.
Hoobler, 65, was found dead at his Louisiana home on Friday, Nola.com reports. Hoobler’s grandson, Daniel Nelson, told the outlet he recently had both legs amputated and was diabetic.
In an interview with former NFL star Emmanuel Acho last year, the rapper touched briefly on his suicide attempt at the age of 12.
He called the police before taking his mother’s gun from her bedroom and shooting himself in the chest.
Police arrived on the scene but ignored his cry for help. Instead, they focused on the gun and drugs found in the room.
One only officer, Hoobler — who was off-duty at the time — heard a dispatch on his police radio, and rushed over to the house to help Wayne.
“It took a guy named Uncle Bob, he ran up there, and when he got to the top of the steps and saw me there. He refused to even step over me,” the rapper said. “One of them yelled, ‘I got the drugs,’ and that’s when he went crazy. He was like, ‘I don’t give a fuck about no drugs! Do you not see the baby on the ground?!'”
The pair kept in close contact ever since. During the global protests against police brutality in 2020, the rapper opened up about his perspective on cops, saying Hoobler completely changed his outlook.
“My life was saved by a white cop. Uncle Bob,” he said during an episode of his Apple Music’s Beats 1 show. “Therefore, you have to understand the way I view police, period.”

Mayim Bialik, Ken Jennings will both host ‘Jeopardy!’: reports
Current “Jeopardy!” hosts Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings will reportedly keep their jobs as the permanent hosts of the beloved game show, according to multiple media reports.
Representatives for Sony declined to comment to The Post during negotiations.
Bialik will stay on to host primetime editions of the show, as well as the upcoming “Celebrity Jeopardy!” expected to come to ABC, according to Variety. Jennings, meanwhile, will also stay on so that Bialik can continue to film her Fox sitcom “Call Me Kat,” according to the Daily Mail.
Sony is expected to make the official announcement as early as Wednesday, according to the latter media outlet.
The rumor comes weeks after executive producer Michael Davies told Variety that they would need “multiple hosts” for the “Jeopardy!” franchise as they launch “more versions” of the show.
Both Bialik, 46, and 48-year-old Jennings’ trial runs have been far from flawless. Earlier this month, producers had to intervene when Bialik wrongfully declared a contestant’s answer to be incorrect.
The clue read: “From a Latin word for ‘to clock,’ it’s the type of care given to seriously ill patients to provide comfort without curing.”
Contestant Andie Huskie then answered, “What is palliative care?” — pronouncing it differently.
However, he then corrected his solution to “palliative care” pronounced correctly before time ran out.
That wasn’t the first snafu “The Big Bang Theory” alum made, either.
Meanwhile, Jennings made headlines last week for making a “painful,” crude joke.
During a Double Jeopardy round, a clue for “Active Bible Verses” read: “Since no one had done this for 40 years, God told Joshua to get a knife & do this to male Israelites.”
Contestant Erica Weiner-Amanchi then buzzed in and said: “What is circumcise?”
The former champion then joked, “That is correct. A painful $2,000 for you!”
Last month, Bialik also responded to criticism leveled at her by show fans, who felt they could critique everything from her hair and makeup to her “nerd” wardrobe. During an episode of her podcast “Bialik Breakdown,” the host seemed dismayed by the blowback she faces.
“I get that a lot,” she said.
Longtime, beloved “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek died of pancreatic cancer on Nov. 8, 2020. He hosted the show for 37 seasons.
Kate Moss says she felt objectified, 'vulnerable and scared' during Calvin Klein shoot with Mark Wahlberg
Kate Moss is revisiting her 1992 Calvin Klein campaign shoot with Mark Wahlberg, saying that she has "not very good memories" from working with the actor.
"He was very macho and it was all about him and he had a big entourage," Moss said. "And I was just this kind of model."
The 48-year-old model reflected on the infamous shoot during her appearance on the BBC Radio 4 program Desert Islands Discs, sharing that she had felt "completely [objectified] and vulnerable and scared," having been 17 or 18 years old at the time. She added, "I think they played on my vulnerability. I was like quite young and innocent, so Calvin loved that."
She even spoke about suffering with anxiety leading up to the shoot. "I really didn't feel well at all before the shoot. For like a week or two, I couldn't get out of bed and I had severe anxiety and the doctor gave me Valium," she said.
Moss said that the anxiety would manifest as nausea, but her intake of the medication was highly supervised and controlled by her then-boyfriend's mother, Francesca Sorrenti, who she was living with at the time. "After the shoot, it was fine and it kind of wore off, the anxiety," Moss said.
It isn't the first time that Moss has spoken out about the photoshoot and shared bad memories from it. In fact, in an interview with Vanity Fair in 2012, she said that she had regretted the shoot although it contributed greatly to her fame.
'"I had a nervous breakdown when I was 17 or 18, when I had to go and work with Marky Mark and Herb Ritts," she told the publication. "It didnt feel like me at all. I felt really bad about straddling this buff guy. I didn’t like it. I couldn't get out of bed for two weeks. I thought I was going to die."
She continued, "Nobody takes care of you mentally. There's a massive pressure to do what you have to do."
Wahlberg later addressed her comments during an interview with The Guardian in 2020. "I think I was probably a little rough around the edges. Kind of doing my thing," he said. "I wasn't very… worldly, let's say that."
On Desert Island Discs, she noted that it wasn't the only time she had felt taken advantage of.
"I had a horrible experience for a bra catalog and I was only 15, probably and he said. 'Take your top off.' And I took my top off and I was really shy then about my body. And he said, 'Take your bra off,' and I could feel there was something wrong so I got my stuff and I ran away," she said, explaining that the experience had "sharpened [her] instincts," which she acted on throughout the rest of her career.
Even with her best friend and photographer Corinne Day, Moss said she "cried a lot" when it came to photoshoots that felt too exposing.
"I was really, really self conscious about my body and she would say, 'If you don't take your top off I'm not gonna book you for Elle.' And I would cry," Moss recalled, specifically when reflecting on her appearance on the cover of The Face magazine in 1990 when she was just 16 years old. "[Day] got what she wanted and I suffered for them, but in the end they did me a world of good, really. They did change my career."
Now, as a mom and the owner of a talent agency herself, Moss makes an effort to keep her clients safe. Her daughter Lila is one of them.
"I've said to her, 'You don't have to do anything you don't want to do. If you don't want to do this shoot, if you don’t feel comfortable, if you don't want to model, don't do it,'" Moss said. "I take care of my models. I make sure that they are with agents at shoots so when they are being taken advantage of, there's somebody there to say, 'I don't think that's appropriate.'"
She added, "I don't know if that's across the board but that's what I can do."
Coachella’s Parent Company Has Allegedly Given Thousands In Donations To Republican-Led Group That Is Anti-Abortion
Coachella’s parent company allegedly has been donating a large amount of money to a political organization that is against abortions.
Just days after Roe v. Wade was overturned, the Anschutz Corporation, which owns AEG Live and its subsidiary Goldenvoice, reportedly gave the Republican General Association $75,000, Rolling Stone reports. The Anschutz Corporation also owns a slew of major festivals, including the very popular Coachella.
“[E]very donation will help Republican Attorneys General combat the Democrats’ pro-abortion agenda and stand tall for life,” said the Republican Attorneys General Association, reaching out to its supporters asking for money. Their request came on June 24, the same day the Supreme Court overturned Roe. v. Wade.
And days after that, on June 29, the Anschutz Corporation allegedly gave the Republican-led anti-abortion group a whopping $75,000, Rolling Stone reports. Allegedly, the group’s objective is to use the donations to help fund the placements of Attorneys General will move the organization’s anti-abortion agenda forward, which may include implementing anti-abortion laws in different states who are still cementing their abortion laws.
Some of the target states are reportedly Ohio, Florida, Arizona and Michigan.
On the other side, the Anschutz Corporation claims it nor its owner knew anything about RAGA’s donations request, adding that it has been giving money to the organization for years. In a statement to Rolling Stone, the corporation said it has been donating to RAGA since 2014, saying, “[a]s a personal matter, Philip F. Anschutz believes in a woman’s right to choose and did not support the reversal of Roe.”
Muhammad Ali’s 1974 Championship Belt Sells for $6.18 Million
Muhammad Ali‘s 1974″Rumble in the Jungle” belt has a new owner, and that owner paid $6.18 million.
Jim Irsay already has an NFL team on his hands, so why not add a legendary historical belt. Irsay confirmed on Twitter of the news.
“Proud to be the steward!” he tweeted Sunday.
Irsay adds the belt to the Irsay Collection, which is having a showcase on August 2 at Chicago Navy’s Pier and on September 9 in Indianapolis.
Ali won the WBC heavyweight championship belt in a victory versus George Foreman in Kinshasa, Zaire. He actually performed the iconic “rope-a-dope” move for the first time during the match.
The highly-anticipated match marked Ali’s return to competitive boxing after revoking his license and World Boxing Association title for refusing induction into the US Armed Forces to fight in Vietnam.
The bid for the belt finally came to a close, with Irsay winning after several hours of “back and forth,” according to Chris Ivy, Heritage’s Director of Sports Auctions.
“We’re just thrilled this extraordinary piece of boxing history — of sports history, of cultural history — found such an exceptional caretaker who will now share it with the rest of the world,” he added.
Irsay is a big fan of Ali and already owns several pieces from the boxer’s career, including a 1965 walkout robe and his shoes from 1975 ‘Thrilla in Manila.’
