Thomas recently did an interview with famed producer Carlos King on his King of Reality TV podcast where he said that Moore was the smartest woman on the show. He says Moore understands how reality TV works.
"Kenya to me is brilliant. I said it from day one, OK, because she didn’t have a man. She was renting n*ggas to be on the motherf*cking show…she did what she can to keep that d*mn thing going," Thomas said.
He added, “With that being said, she did that sh*t on her own. She didn’t use somebody else’s purse to do it. She did that sh*t on her own. That’s why I’ll always respect her.”

#HipHopNews: Meek Mill Splits With Roc Nation
After a decade, the rapper is no longer being managed by JAY-Z’s management company. Meek has been removed from the company’s website and their social media pages. The news was first reported by Billboard.
Meek and Roc Nation’s relationship dates back to 2012 when he signed with the Roc. In 2019, he launched a joint venture between his Dream Chasers imprint and Roc Nation.
“Of course I had offers to do a lot of business with other people, but the relationship we’ve built from [Roc Nation] believing in me through my whole career, through my ups and downs and the morals they showed to me and my team when it wasn’t in their best interest to have showed it — I feel comfortable going through this right here at home,” Meek said at the time.
Upon Meek’s release from prison in 2018, he and JAY-Z also teamed up to launch the REFORM Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to probation, parole, and sentencing reform in the U.S.
Last year, Meek blasted his label, Atlantic Records, saying that they owed him money and didn’t promote his most recent album Expensive Pain. He also claimed that the label stopped Roddy Ricch from signing with him.
“So look I made Atlantic records 100’s of millions and let them rape me out out Roddy a artist they came to me about in jail,” he tweeted.
There were also reports that he wanted out of his deal with Maybach Music after he denied Rick Ross entry to his section while celebrating his birthday at a Miami nightclub.
OH? R. Kelly Engaged To Alleged Sex Victim Joycelyn Savage
New details have surfaced concerning R.Kelly’s relationship status. As you know, the 55-year-old singer was recently sentenced to 30 years in prison on sex trafficking charges.
And now, R.Kelly is making headlines for allegedly being engaged. According to All Hip Hop, Joycelyn Savage and the imprisoned artist are engaged.
In a letter written to the judge ahead of R. Kelly’s sentencing, she passionately discusses how positive R.Kelly is and in doing so identifies herself as his fiancée.
She writes:My relationship with Robert is amazing. He’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. We have a very special connection and are deeply in love. I still support Robert to this day because I love him and will always be here to support him. Robert is not the monster that the government has described him to be. The Robert I know is very sweet, gentle, and kind. At the end of the day, he has always made sure that I’m taken care of, and any other women he was with as well.”
Joycelyn first made headlines back in 2019, when it was revealed that she and another woman (Azriel Clary) were both R.Kelly’s girlfriends and had suffered abuse while living with him together. Joycelyn’s parents claimed that she was being held against her will and was brainwashed. Joycelyn has denied these claims.
No further details have been released concerning their engagement.

Eddie Murphy's daughter Bria marries actor Michael Xavier
Eddie Murphy's daughter Bria married fiancé Michael Xavier over the weekend.
Bria and Xavier tied the knot in a private ceremony in front of 250 family members and friends in Beverly Hills, People magazine reported.
Eddie walked his daughter down the aisle. Bria's mom Nicole Mitchell Murphy was also in attendance. Eddie and Nicole were married from 1993 until 2006.
Bria shared photos on Instagram of the two's engagement in December.
"I can't wait to marry you," Bria wrote on one post.
Eddie spoke about Bria at her art show back in 2020.
"I'm glad that people get to see how talented she is," Eddie said, according to People magazine. "We've known for years how talented she is. It's exciting to see her stuff up on the walls… I'm having all of those proud parent feelings."
"I really got lucky with my kids," he added. "There really isn't a bad one in the bunch, everyone turned out to be really good people."
In 2021, Murphy said he was "blessed" with his children.
"I am so blessed with my kids," Murphy said. "I don't have one bad seed. I don't have any like 'Oh you are the one.' I don't have any of that. My kids are so great, normal people – and nobody is like the Hollywood jerk kid."
"My kids are smart and are trying to do stuff. I am blessed with my kids. I really, really got lucky," he added.

#BoxOfficeNews: ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Opens at a whopping $143M to win the Box Office!
Lord Thor has broken the box office! The latest Marvel film grossed $143 million in North America and another $159 million internationally, for a total of $302 million in its first weekend at the global box office. Love and Thunder surpassed the first weekend numbers of its predecessor, 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, which opened to $123 million in North America.
Love and Thunder is the fourth film in the Thor franchise, following 2011’s Thor, 2013’s Thor: The Dark World, and 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok. The previous three films performed well at the worldwide box office, grossing $449.3 million, $644.8 million, and $854 million, respectively.
“It’s noteworthy that this weekend will reflect a level of normalcy at the box office that has been building since the beginning of the summer movie season with a diverse selection of hits from the superhero, action, comedy, family, indie, and horror genres that are now joined by ‘Thor: Love And Thunder,’” Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst at Comscore, told CNBC.

Pastor John Gray Placed in Critical Care Unit His Wife Askes for Prayers
Pastor John Gray of Relentless Church in Greenville was hospitalized Thursday.
His wife, Aventer Gray, took to Instagram and posted that her husband went to the hospital’s critical care unit with a “saddle Pulmonary Embolism in the pulmonary artery and more lung blood clots,” she wrote on her page.
A saddle PE is a large blood clot lodged in the main pulmonary artery. The blockage occurs in the leg and then travels to the lungs from large veins and other parts of the body, Healthline reports.
The Pastor is in a precarious situation; Aventer said the location of the Pastor’s saddle PE is life-threatening if it shifts. She explains that he needs two types of surgery because of the pressure on his heart in the next 24 hours. Doctors have warned her that other people have died with his exact condition. Pastor Gray must remain still and can not even go to the bathroom. However, Aventer maintains her faith in God that He will pull her husband back to health.

15 people killed, 9 injured in mass shooting at South African bar
A mass shooting inside a South African bar resulted in at least 15 deaths on Sunday (July 10). According to NPR, authorities of the Soweto township said a total of 24 people were wounded. Nine of those victims suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Gauteng Police said a group of men entered the Orlando East tavern located in the Nomzamo informal settlement just after midnight. The group was said to have been armed with rifles and 9-millimeter pistols. The gunmen, believed to be at least two men, randomly took aim at 12 people who died at the scene. Twelve others were rushed to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital for treatment. Two of those victims were declared dead upon arrival.
“It’s a bad scene,” Police Commissioner Elias Mawela told South African news channel ENCA of the shooting. “When you see the bodies [that] are piled up, you can see that every one of those people [was] struggling to get out of the tavern.” Victims range in age from 19 to 35.
Witnesses claim to have seen the men exit a minibus taxi before unleashing rounds of gunfire at unsuspecting individuals. At this time, a motive is not yet known, and the suspected gunmen remain on the run. “As a nation, we cannot allow violent criminals to terrorize us in this way, regardless of where such incidents may occur,” said South African President Cyril Ramaphosa in a statement.
A similar shooting also took place on Saturday (July 9) in the city of Pietermaritzburg, Independent Online news reported. The city is located 315 miles away from Soweto. Two men reportedly exited a Volkswagen with Pietermaritzburg license plates.
They entered Samkelisiwe Tavern and wounded 12 people. Eight of those injured remain hospitalized. Two victims were killed at the scene, and two others died in the hospital. Authorities have not stated if they believe the missing gunmen are responsible for both shooting incidents.
Is Issa Rae is "exploring" the idea of an "Insecure" spinoff
Issa Rae hasn’t closed the door on “Insecure” just yet. For five seasons the show and its all-Black cast kept audiences in a chokehold with storylines of drama, and life lessons and good music.
Now, it seems Rae is giving the idea of entertaining a spinoff some serious consideration. “It’s not what people may think but, yes, I still am exploring an idea and I haven’t written it yet,” Rae said while speaking with Angela Yee at ESSENCE Fest (July 1).
But before fans get too excited about a spinoff being on the distant horizon, Rae was quick to share she is currently booked and busy with other projects. “I have other things that are more of a priority right now but, I really do wanna make it happen,” said the actress.
The show starring Rae as Issa Dee went off airwaves after 44 episodes on Dec. 26. The series finale had fans in shambles as it provided closure and happy endings for each of the leading characters. For some, the ending felt as though it came to soon. But for Rae, it seemed like the perfect time to close out the successful show.
“I talked to [showrunner Prentice Penny] about it and he was like, ‘How long do you want to go?’ I was like, ‘Five,’ and he said, ‘OK, that’s about right,'” said Rae last year while speaking with the hosts of “The Breakfast Club.” She continued, “It felt that it’s the right amount of time to tell a concise story. I like shows that I can watch with endings. I like to leave when I feel at my high. Don’t overstay your welcome is a big motto.”
While Issa Dee and crew may be done…for now, Rae still has another series in store for fans. On July 21, her new show “Rap Sh!t” premieres on HBO.

Jennifer Lopez Recalls Experiencing Exhaustion-Induced Panic Attack: 'I Thought I Was Losing My Mind'
Jennifer Lopez is getting candid about her mental health.
In her most recent On the JLo newsletter, the 52-year-old performer recalled the panic attacks she experienced in her late 20s, which left her “feeling physically paralyzed.”
“There was a time in my life where I used to sleep 3 to 5 hours a night. I’d be on set all day and in the studio all night and doing junkets and filming videos on the weekends,” she wrote. “I was in my late 20s and I thought I was invincible.
“Until one day, I was sitting in a trailer, and all the work and the stress it brought with it, coupled with not enough sleep to recuperate mentally, caught up with me,” she continued.
Jennifer explained that she “went from feeling totally normal to thinking about what I needed to do that day and all of a sudden I felt as if I couldn’t move.” She also added that she “was completely frozen” and “couldn’t see clearly”.
The Hustlers star continued, “Now I know it was a classic panic attack brought on by exhaustion, but I had never even heard the term at the time…. My security guard on set came in and picked me up and drove me to the doctor. By the time I got there, I could at least speak again and I was so terrified I thought I was losing my mind.”
She went on to share the advice she got from a doctor during that period. “He said, ‘No, you’re not crazy. You need sleep … get 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night, don’t drink caffeine, and make sure you get your workouts in if you’re going to do this much work,’” she shared.
Jennifer added, “I realized how serious the consequences could be of ignoring what my body and mind needed to be healthy — and that’s where my journey to wellness began.”
She also said that her goal is “to live a very healthy and balanced life”, with an emphasis on “pro-living versus anti-aging.”
WOW A Spirit Airlines Plane’s Brakes on Fire After Landing in Atlanta
A Spirit Airlines plane briefly caught on fire after landing at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Sunday morning, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Spirit spokesperson Erik Hofmeyer said one of the brakes on the aircraft, arriving from Tampa, got overheated while on the tarmac, causing the tires to go up in flames. After first responders managed to quell the fire, the plane was towed to a nearby gate where passengers were able to safely disembark. “Thank you to the Atlanta first responders for immediately meeting the aircraft,” Hofmeyer said. “The plane will be temporarily removed from service for maintenance.”
Hartsfield–Jackson also addressed the situation via Twitter, and credited Atlanta Fire & Rescue for jumping into action.
Scottie Nelms, a passenger aboard Spirit Airlines Flight 383, told FOX 5 Atlanta that he and everyone else aboard the plane started freaking out once they noticed flames emerging from what appeared to be the engine. “Once we landed it made a weird noise from the left side of the plane. Nobody knew what it was until we stopped completely in the middle of the landing strip,” Nelms recalled. “We saw a flame coming from the engine and people and myself started freaking out.”
Flight attendants aboard the flight told passengers to remain in their seats unless told otherwise.
Nelms told WFLA News Channel 8 that he will not be flying again anytime soon.
Herschel Walker’s Campaign Aids Slam Him for Being a ‘Pathological Liar’
*Herschel Walker is running against Georgia’s Raphael Warnock for Senate, but several of his campaign aids claim he’s not fit for higher office because he’s a compulsive liar.
It seems several of his people feel slighted that they were lied to by Walker about the existence of several children that he has fathered with multiple women. Walker himself is said to have denied the existence of his “secret” kids until a Daily Beast article exposed the truth.
According to a new report by The Daily Beast, when the campaign later asked Walker whether there were any other children he had not previously made public, he told them no — but that turned out not to be true.
The Beast reports that its “account of Walker lying to his own campaign about his children comes from a closely connected adviser and was verified by communications that the source turned over” to the outlet.
According to PEOPLE, Walker’s aides describe him as a “pathological liar” who lies “like he’s breathing.”
In a statement issued following the Daily Beast’s report, Walkers’ campaign manager called the accusations “pure gossip with anonymous sources from a left-leaning publication who has been obsessed with Herschel and his family.” He did not deny the claims made in the Daily Beast report.
We reported earlier, per The Daily Beast, that the former football star has four children, including two sons and a daughter whom he had never discussed publicly. Walker has repeatedly criticized absentee fathers over the years and has called on Black men, in particular, to play an active role in the children’s lives, holding up his relationship with his older son, Christian Walker, as an example.
Walker recently told a crowd of conservative Christians that his kids “knew the truth.” He made this admission while peaking before an audience at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s annual “Road to Majority” conference.
“Well, first of all, they knew the truth. You know, I’ve never denied any of my kids and I love them more than I love anything,” he said. “And they didn’t do anything, which just makes me want to fight harder because I’m tired of people misleading the American people. I’m tired of people misleading my family.”
Meanwhile, Walker was recently mocked on social media for falsely claiming to be a police officer and an FBI agent.
According to reports, Walker has claimed in at least three speeches delivered before he entered politics that he served in law enforcement. Per MSN, he previously told a U.S. Army audience: “I worked in law enforcement, so I had a gun,” he claimed. In 2017, he said, “I work with the Cobb County Police Department.”
The Cobb County Police Department told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution it has no record of Walker working with the department.
Walker also told an audience in 2019, “I spent time at Quantico at the FBI training school. Y’all didn’t know I was an agent?”
The former NFLer has never been an FBI agent.
Bobby Brown and Wife Alicia Back in the News as Successful Entrepreneurs
*Bobby Brown became the “King of Stage” after he left the popular group New Edition to launch his solo career in 1986. The Boston native released his first solo album that became an instant success, scoring a No.1 R&B hit with “Girlfriend.”
The song did well, but his next two singles were not as commercially successful as anticipated. Bobby went back to the studio with hitmaker Teddy Riley and the production duo of L. A Reid and Babyface. The result was an explosive project titled “Don’t Be Cruel,” which was considered by many as the best album that year. The album hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts apart from being the highest-selling album of 1989.
Away from music, Bobby’s difficult life included stints in prison, drugs, and a nasty reputation. Gradually, he lost the glory that a successful career had earned him over the years, reports Black Enterprise.
Along the way, he married and divorced Whitney Houston and sired a total of seven kids. He married Alicia Etheredge, and so far the marriage has held. The couple has three children. Meanwhile, two of Bobby’s children have died. Bobbi Christina passed away in 2015 at age 21. His son, Bobby Jr. Died in 2020 at age 29.
BET released “The Bobby Brown Story” in 2018. However, when he got the opportunity to tell his own story, the former New Edition member and his wife Alicia chose A&E to produce and release “Biography: Bobby Brown,” which came out eat the end of May of this year.
Following the biography’s release, A&E also gave the couple a reality TV series, “Bobby Brown: Every Little Step,” that shows the Brown family.
According to Alicia, they chose to go with A&E because the network let them have the creative control required to tell their story rightfully.
“A&E came to us and was very open and allowed us to have creative control, which was very important to us, obviously. Doing a show and series like we have and letting them into our homes, we wanted to do and show particular things; obviously, we wanted it to be authentic,” she states.
Away from the cameras, the Browns run their businesses ranging from a food line known as “Bobby Brown Foods” and a wellness line. The food line is sold in some stores and online, while the wellness line sells CBD, mushroom, coffee, alkaline salt, fiber generation, and all sorts of self-care products.
Brown is grateful for the accolades he has received over the years. Moreover, he says these projects make him feel like when “Don’t Be Cruel” first came out. The couple is happy and excited about the future projects they have in store, such as more television work, another album and continuing with their entrepreneurship work.
Amber Heard’s Insurance Company Not Paying Her Judgment To Johnny Depp
Amber Heard wants her insurance company to pay a portion of her court order judgment to her ex Johnny Depp, but the company said declined.
The company cited Heard’s conduct as the reason they won’t pay it.
Apparently, she had a $1 million liability policy with New York Marine and General Insurance Co. that covers all sorts of wrongful conduct, which includes defamation, TMZ reported.
But under the governing law for the insurance policy in California and under state law, an insurance company is not liable if the insured committed wrongful and “willful” misconduct.
New York Marine says not only did the jury find the defamation Amber committed was willful, but it was also said to be malicious.
Now, the insurance company wants a declaration from the judge that, based on the policy and the law, it’s not responsible for helping her pay her hefty bill.
Cops Arrest Obsessed Fan That Trespassed On Selena Gomez’s LA Property
An obsessed fan jumped a fence at Selena Gomez’s Los Angeles home on Sunday morning, trying to access the actress’ home.
Los Angeles Police Department sources tell TMZ that security caught the man in the act around 1 a.m. He tried walking away from the property but was arrested by responding officers who located him wandering around the neighborhood.
The suspect told officers he wanted to meet the Only Murders In The Building star. He was booked on trespassing charges.
A few weeks ago, Gomez’s residence was the subject of another incident with a crazed fan. Security called the cops of a man who wrote Gomez’s name in blood on a mattress and set it on fire just outside her gate.
Thankfully, Gomez wasn’t home for either incident.
NFL Free Agent Duane Brown Arrested At LAX With Concealed Weapon In Luggage
LAX Airport Police arrested former Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Duane Brown for trying to go through security with a concealed weapon.
Brown, a free agent, attempted to go through security at Terminal 6 with the concealed gun around 2 p.m. on Saturday. The firearm was discovered in his luggage during the standard screening.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the gun was not loaded. Brown was escorted out of the airport in handcuffs.
Brown, 36, was charged with possession of a concealed firearm.
The five-time Pro-Bowler spent the last five seasons with the Seahawks and became a free agent after last season.
