Jenna Dewan Covers March Issue of Women’s Health Magazine!
Dancer, actress and mom Jenna Dewan appears on the March cover of Women’s Health magazine, on newsstands February 9. Inside, the 40-year-old spills how going with the flow has taken her down a path to greater self-acceptance, her secret to getting fit fast, and why she’s excited for the future.
On giving birth to her second child, Callum, in March 2020, just days before stay-at-home orders went into effect: “I was in this postpartum-haze bubble, then a week later, everything just shut down. It was new; it was different; it was kind of scary. But we were all in it together.”
On leaning into unexpected curves: “I had this grand idea that with this baby, I’m going to have friends and family over all the time. Talk about expectations and having to surrender.”
On taking a break from the hustle: “I’ve learned for the very first time what it means to actually be quiet. I’ve never been a homebody, and I love it.”
On using breathwork as a major component of her mindfulness routine: “It’s very effective for stress. You’re creating this rush of oxygen through your nervous system. It can be a little uncomfortable at first, but once you get passed that, you really open yourself up.”
On her exercise of choice – Pilates: “It gets you fit so fast, and just you just feel stronger. The dancer in me really likes it because it activates the same muscles in my core. You feel things all just start to go where they’re meant to go.”
On keeping a perpetual rhythm in her home: “I’m always dancing, even in the kitchen. Callum laughs and smiles when I dance, especially when I give him a good hair whip. It’s as if it’s the funniest thing that ever happened. And Evie’s always like, ‘Dance party time!’”
On trying her hand at cooking: “In the beginning of quarantine, I was trying to cook more. But then people in the house were like, ‘You’ve got a lot of strengths. I don’t know if cooking in one of them…’”
On turning 40 in December: “I feel better in my skin. I feel more grounded in my body. I feel excited for this next decade and what is available to create. Even in this crazy year, I still have that feeling.”

#MusicNews: Bryson Tiller Announces ‘Serenity’ Will Be A Triple Album!
Bryson Tiller has been in the studio every day working on new music including his long-awaited album Serenity. During a recent Twitch livestream, Tiller announced that the project will be a triple album featuring rap, R&B, and pop.
“Y’all gon’ eat this shit, man, please believe it,” he told fans. “So much shit going on. I’ve been in the studio every fu**ing day.”
He planned to release a second album at the end of 2020, but he wasn’t able to get the samples cleared in time. “Some shit don’t even be my fault. I was in the studio grinding, gettin’ that bitch done, but couldn’t get certain samples cleared…It’s gonna be ready for this year for sure.”
Tiller started working on Serenity prior to 2017’s True to Self. “I just wasn’t in the right head space to make it, then after True to Self I was depressed and shit, had some shit going on in my life,” he revealed.
He took a break from recording and later returned when he was in the right mental state. “I started up Serenity again because I was in a better place in my life. I was feeling better about shit and then I realized, I don’t even got a peace of mind right now, I don’t even feel like I’m at peace to even make this album, so I put it on pause.”
He has been sitting on so much material that he decided to make Serenity a triple album. “Over the years, I realized how much fu**in’ music I had for Serenity, all this different shit, so Serenity is not one album, it’s three albums. It’s three volumes of the albums—one is a rap album, one is an R&B album, and then one is a pop album.”
The oft-delayed project is a celebration of his musical freedom. “Serenity is about me not giving a f**k at all,” Pen Griffey explained. “I still don’t give a f**k, to be honest right now. But Serenity is more so me having a peace of mind, in my element, making music and just being free creatively. For a long time, I always cared so much about how people felt about what I was doing…and it be in my head like a motherfu**er. But now I don’t even hear none of that shit no more.”
2021 is shaping up to be a big year for Tiller, who is also readying a “complete” edition of October’s Anniversary album with additional tracks. “It was never finished to begin with. We had to hit that date so I got the rest of the songs on that bitch for y’all.”
#HipHopNews: Cardi B Claims Somebody 'Dropped The Ball' On Properly Releasing Raunchy 'Up' Single!
Cardi B made her triumphant return late Thursday night (February 4) with a new video for her latest single “Up.” While the YouTube video has racked up over 20 million views since its premiere, the single itself has apparently run into some hiccups.
In an Instagram Live video, the former stripper-turned-Grammy Award-winning rapper explained why she feels like somebody on her team didn’t fully do their job.
“I’m really grateful for the music video, it’s turning out amazing,” she says in the clip. “I’m really upset right now. The Devil has been working really fucking hard, let me tell you. Because, I know people are having troubles finding the song on iTunes. I don’t even think the music video is up on iTunes yet.
“I don’t know who dropped the ball and gave in or didn’t gave in or whatever to iTunes, but I’ve been working. I’ve been calling people on the label all night. I don’t know. Make sure you check it out on all streaming services. I think the song was turned in late to avoid leaks and stuff. ”
The “Up” single has already been marred by controversy. Shortly after its release, two New Jersey rappers — Mir Fontane and Mir Pesos — accused Cardi of knowingly ripping off their August 2020 single “Stuck.” Taking to Twitter, both aspiring artists compared their hook to the “Up” hook and wanted some answers.
Cardi acknowledged the Camden duo’s claims but refuted the allegations. She attempted to prove she’d been discussing the hook with Megan Thee Stallion as early as August 7, 2020 but failed to realize Mir Fontane posted the “Stuck” video on August 6, 2020. Needless to say, they are looking for some type of compensation.
“In terms of resolution — they want all creators to be properly credited and compensated for their work in all matters not just this,” Mir Fontane’s representative says “Pesos and Fontane’s respective teams are working towards a resolution.”
Gospel Singer Bebe Winans Asked To ‘Educate’ Country Artist Morgan Wallen About Not Using The N-Word!
Performing rights organization BMI (Broadcast Music Inc.) has asked iconic gospel singer, Bebe Winans to reach out to country music artist, Morgan Wallen to ‘educate’ him and “to help him understand the gravity and impact of his words” following a racial slur incident. As previously reported, video footage surfaced online of Wallen saying the n-word. On Sunday (Jan.31), Morgan Wallen and his friends returned to his Tennessee home after a night out. While standing in his driveway Wallen appears to be drunk as he instructs one of his friends to help someone in the group. In the video, he says,
“Take care of this “p*ssy-a** motherf*cker”
“Take care of this p*ssy-a** n*****.”
Following the release of the video, the 27-year-old country music artist received immediate backlash. Many radio stations decided to pull his music from their playlist. Also, his contract with Big Loud Records was suspended “indefinitely” and he’s no longer eligible this year for consideration of winning any awards at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Wallen issued an apology on Tuesday (Feb.2) after the video footage went viral. Warren said,
“I’m embarrassed and sorry. I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back. There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better.”
While BMI has condemned Morgan Wallen’s behavior, they claim that they are cannot legally follow suit. In a statement released by the organization, BMI said,
“BMI condemns the hateful and offensive racial slur recently used by Morgan Wallen. While unacceptable, under the terms of our consent decree, BMI is mandated to accept all songwriters who want to be a part of our organization.”
The organization went on to note that they have asked BMI’s advisor and gospel music legend, BeBe Winans to reach out to Morgan Wallen.
“We have asked BMI’s Advisor and Gospel legend, BeBe Winans, to reach out to Morgan to help him understand the gravity and impact of his words. Our hope is that BeBe’s outreach can help Morgan become a more inclusive and empathetic person.”
No word yet on whether Winans and Wallen have agreed to meet and talk about the incident. Wallen’s latest album, “Dangerous,” recently topped the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks.
What are your thoughts on BeBe Winans speaking with Morgan Wallan?

Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka Sweep To Start Australian Open Runs!
Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka are off to fast starts at the Australian Open.
After losing the opening game, Williams won 10 games in a row and beat Laura Siegemund 6-1, 6-1 on the first day of the tournament in Melbourne. Monday's victory marked the start of Williams' latest bid for a record-tying 24th major title.
Williams, the No. 10 seed, took the court in a colorful, one-legged catsuit, and her game looked flashy too. She lost only nine points on her serve and hit 16 winners. She saved one of her best shots for the final game, racing forward to flip an off-balance backhand off her shoestrings for a crosscourt winner.
"This was a good start -- vintage Rena," said Williams, who became the only woman since the Open era began in 1968 to play 100 Australian Open matches (88-12 record). "It's definitely good. I'm pretty good at pacing myself at a Grand Slam."
2021 Australian Open experts' picks: Naomi Osaka, Novak Djokovic clear favorites
For the past four years, Williams has been trying to equal Australian Margaret Court's record for major titles. Williams' most recent Grand Slam championship came at Melbourne in 2017.
"I've had a ton of pressure, and now I don't feel it anymore,'' she said. "It's like a huge relief. I think I was just looking at it all the wrong way in the past, and I feel totally different about it now."
Williams wore a colorful one-legged catsuit that she said was inspired by former Olympic sprinter Florence Griffith Joyner, and her game looked flashy, too. She lost only nine points on her serve and hit 16 winners, and showed no signs of the right shoulder issue that led her to pull out of a tuneup tournament.
No. 3 Osaka, who won the title in Melbourne two years ago, played the first match of the tournament in Rod Laver Arena and beat Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-1, 6-2.
The first tourney of this year's Grand Slam season began after a three-week delay because of the coronavirus pandemic.
"Physically, I feel like everyone -- their bodies are shocked, coming in and playing so suddenly after such a long break," Osaka said. "I think we're all getting used to it, and everyone is just happy to be here."
Osaka drew a potentially tough opening opponent in Pavlyuchenkova, a Russian player ranked 39th who reached the quarterfinals in Melbourne in three of the past four years. But Osaka breezed through the first set in 21 minutes and barely slowed after that; she finished with more winners than errors and lost only five points on her first serve.
Osaka has won 15 consecutive matches, including the US Open final in September, since her most recent loss in a Fed Cup match a year ago.
Serena Williams' older sister Venus, a seven-time major champion, won the first match at Margaret Court Arena with a 7-5, 6-2 decision over Kirsten Flipkens.
The win ended Venus Williams' four-match losing streak at majors, the longest of her career. The victory came in Williams' 88th Grand Slam match, a women's record.
At 40, Williams is the oldest woman in this year's draw and just the sixth player in her 40s to compete at the Australian Open.
"I like my job,'' she said. "No matter what happens to you in life, you always hold your head up high and give 100 million percent. And that's what I do every single day, and that's something I can be proud of.''
Simona Halep skipped briskly into the second round of the Australian Open with a businesslike 6-2, 6-1 demolition of local wildcard Lizette Cabrera on Monday.
The second-seeded Romanian looked in fine form as she moved her opponent around the Rod Laver Arena court apparently at will and seized her break-point opportunities with alacrity.
Other women's Grand Slam singles titlists in action on the opening day include two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova and 2019 US Open winner Bianca Andreescu.
Canadian eighth seed Andreescu was made to work hard on her return to competition after 15 months, the 2019 U.S. Open winner digging deep to see off Mihaela Buzarnescu of Romania 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.
The 20-year-old, playing her first match since retiring from the 2019 WTA Finals in Shenzhen with a knee injury, moved assuredly on court and showed no signs of discomfort against the world No. 138.
No. 23 Angelique Kerber, a three-time major champion and 2016 Australian Open winner, lost to American Bernarda Pera 6-0, 6-4.
Canadian Rebecca Marino, a former top-40 player competing in a Grand Slam event for the first time in eight years, beat wild-card entry Kimberly Birrell 6-0, 7-6 (9). Marino had been sidelined by depression and a serious foot injury.
"I still have my big serve and big forehead. That hasn't changed that much,'' Marino said. "And I have a confidence that I know I belong again.''
Up to 30,000 fans -- about 50% of capacity -- will be allowed on the tournament site, but seats were mostly empty for the start of play on a cool morning.
"Listen, this is amazing," Serena Williams said. "Last year was very scary for the world. To be able to do what I love and be able to come out and compete ... it makes me appreciate the moment even more."
Mariah Carey Seemingly Shades NFL for Colin Kaepernick Shoutout Following TV Spot!
Mariah Carey appeared to throw some shade at the NFL during Super Bowl LV Sunday night after the league's Inspire Change campaign ad aired on CBS. "Happy Colin Kaepernick Appreciation Day," Carey wrote on Twitter, referring to the former quarterback. Kaepernick has been a free agent since the end of the 2016 season when he started kneeling during the National Anthem to protest police brutality and racial inequality.
During the game, the NFL aired a spot to remind viewers of its Inspire Change program. The ad called football a "microcosm of America" with "all races, religions, living, competing, side-by-side." It featured photos from Black Lives Matter protests and the helmet bumpers players wore during the season with the names of Black men and women killed by police officers. In the end, the NFL announced plans to spend $250 million to "help end systemic racism" and said the league's "fight for social justice" will continue after the season is over. The spot even included footage of players kneeling during the anthem.
Kaepernick was trying to bring attention to these very things with his protest, which many users on Twitter quickly pointed out, including Carey. The 33-year-old Kaepernick has not played since he opted out of his 49ers contract in 2017, and he filed a grievance against the NFL and owners for allegedly conspiring to prevent him from playing. He eventually withdrew the complaint, but he is still unsigned. He has continued to be a vocal activist.
A source told NFL.com last month they would be willing to work with Kaepernick on the Inspire Change program. "We wouldn't be where we are today without the work Colin and other players have led off," the source said. "That is a key point here. We listened to our players. We needed to listen more, we needed to move faster. We heard them and launched a social justice platform because of what Colin was protesting about. The players have always been an essential piece of this effort and this campaign."
Michael B. Jordan Honors His Friend Chadwick Boseman After Late Actor Receives Record-Breaking SAG Award Nominations!
Michael B. Jordan honored his late friend Chadwick Boseman with an Instagram post after it was announced that the late actor received a record number of SAG award nominations.
Boseman, 43, passed away in August after battling a four-year diagnosis of colon cancer.
On Thursday, he made history by becoming the first person to receive four nominations from the Screen
“4. Still setting the bar higher,” Jordan, 33, captioned the Instagram post. “Miss you big homie.”
Jordan co-starred in Black Panther with Boseman.
The late actor was nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in his leading role for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and for outstanding performance by a male actor supporting his role in Da 5 Bloods — both were his final two films.
He also received two nods for both films—which were nominated for outstanding cast in a motion picture.
Before the announcement, Boseman received a posthumous nomination for his role in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Jordan sat down with the new outlet in November and discussed the impact Boseman and Kobe Bryant had on him.
“Looking at two people in particular that had a real impact on me, in Kobe and Chadwick. You always look at your own mortality after something like that,” he said. “The impact they’ve had on people in this world is truly incredible.”
“I’ve always wanted to leave behind something that would last longer than my physical body would,” he added. “‘Inspiring’ is so vague.”

Although the notes that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 36, is “clearly not pregnant right now,” they said Khloe is “absolutely trying for a sibling for True,” adding that “Tristan wants that too.”
What’s more, Us reports that the Good American co-founder has been dividing her time between Los Angeles and Boston — where Thompson resides since his move to the Boston Celtics in 2020 — to make their baby plans a reality.
“KhloΓ© will live in Boston when Tristan is practicing and has home games,” explained the insider. “When he’s traveling, she’ll fly back to L.A.”
Since reconciling last year, Khloe and Thompson — who already share 2-year-old daughter True together — are said to be “in a great place right now.”
According to the source, “KhloΓ© and Tristan are solid. Everything in her life is how she wants it.”
This isn’t the first time Khloe and Thompson have sparked baby rumors, as the reality star previously expressed her desire to have another child with the athlete in an upcoming episode of her E! reality show.
“Every time I post a video, Kim [Kardashian] DMs me and she’s like, ‘She can’t play by herself her whole life,’” Khloe tells Thompson in the trailer (below) for the episode. “In my head when I was gonna have kids, I never ever imagined having an only child. Especially being in quarantine with her [amid the coronavirus pandemic], I felt bad. She had no friends. She had nobody. [She and her cousins] were isolated even from each other for so long.”
Ice Cube Sets Meeting with President Joe Biden!
Last year, with just two weeks left before the 2020 Presidential election, West Coast rapper Ice Cube faced huge backlash after announcing he cut a $500 billion deal with Donald Trump to benefit Black Americans [click here if you missed that].

Ice Cube tells Atlanta radio host Ryan Cameron,
“Yesterday [The Biden Administration] reached out. I believe it will go down sometime this month. I don’t know exactly when. I’m available. I will make myself available.”
“I know this new administration is really into helping all minorities, but I believe Black people in this country are in a unique position. I think there needs to be things, as far as specialty programs – you know me, I’m all about reparations. It seems like a bad word to this administration but we gotta change that. And add some fairness to this system.
DaniLeigh Announces DaBaby Breakup After He Shoots His Shots At India Love!
It seems DaBaby and DaniLeigh can no longer refer to their love as a “Masterpiece” as they have severed ties just ahead of Valentine’s Day.
DaBaby and DaniLeigh’s rocky relationship has been littered with ups and downs and has served as a full course meal of drama for their fans. The pair previously closed the book on their budding relationship back in 2020 when Dani declared that she was choosing to impart on a new journey and a new chapter in her life. Many ridiculed the singer noting that she was crazy to have thought their relationship would last, as DaBaby seems to be quite entangled with the mother of his daughter, MeMe.
Ironically enough, the “Bop” rapper reunited with the curly-haired blonde bombshell for the start of the new year to everyone’s amazement. This time there was no doubt as they flaunted their passionate love all over social media. You could find them posting numerous photos and videos of each other as well as dropping sweet comments on each other’s posts. She even starred as the leading lady in the video for his song “Masterpiece,” which is an ode to their relationship. Fans were quick to point out that DaniLeigh was giving off strong “pick me” vibes, but the “Easy” singer ignored all the hate and kicked things up a notch.
Two weeks ago, she released a track titled “Yellow Bone” and came under heavy fire as many accused her of colorism. Addressing the backlash, DaniLeigh simply expressed that she was just speaking on what her partner DaBaby prefers. “That’s what he wants, that’s what he has,” she stated.
Today fans took the very same words out of her mouth to mock and ridicule the singer as she took to her Instagram story and proclaimed, “Officially single,” along with a black heart emoji.
One Twitter user reacted, noting, “So the Dani Leigh girl made that colorist anthem only to end up single??? All that showing off and he’s already moved on? Lmaoooooooooo lacked respect yourselves. These men don’t miss a chance to take you fi eediat,” while another added, “Looooooool so danileigh made that song about her man wanting her cos her bones are yellow and what not and now she’s single?”
Twitter and Instagram users are in a frenzy over the situation. To make matters worse, DaBaby also seemingly co-signed the separation as he seeks a date for Valentine’s Day. Reposting a TikTok done by India Love showcasing her take on the Masterpiece challenge, DaBaby wrote, “This Tik Tok is a #Masterpiece @indialove.” He added to that bit of admiration by adding a goat emoji.
He continued, “Morning, Best re-enactment of this Tik Tok gets flown out for a date w/ Baby on Valentine’s Day.” The rapper mentioned he would be selecting the winner on February 12. It is also worth mentioning that they have both unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Do you believe that their relationship is over for good this time
St. Pete Mayor Reacts To 50 Cent’s ‘Stupid’ Super Bowl Party!
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla Rapper 50 Cent reportedly hosted a “wild” Super Bowl party Friday night in St. Petersburg and the city’s mayor isn’t happy about it.
TMZ said the party was held at a private airport hanger, with tickets ranging between $85 general admission to $7,000 for a stage table.
The reports states, “although you see masks here and there, for the most part, it was COVID-oblivious.”
St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman responded to the report after seeing it on Twitter Saturday, suggesting the party could result in a fine of some sort.
“This isn’t how we should be celebrating the Super Bowl,” he tweeted. “It’s not safe or smart. It’s stupid. We’re going to take a very close look at this, and it may end up costing someone a lot more than 50 cent.”
Casanova Faces Discipline Behind Bars For Recording TikTok Dance Challenge!
Brooklyn rapper Casanova has just gotten himself in more trouble behind bars for recording a video of himself doing the popular Junebug challenge during a video visit.
According to TMZ, the 34-year-old rapper is currently being held in Westchester County Jail in connection with a gang-related racketeering case. He’s pled not guilty to a plethora of charges, including conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, and firearms possession.
The rapper is obviously staying upbeat while in lockdown, posting a video on social media accepting the TikTok challenge in which you perform the quirky dance moves in different locations.
A woman recorded him performing the “Junebug Challenge” during a video visit. Now his visitation privileges have been yanked, once Westchester County Correction Commissioner Joseph Spano learned of the post as recording videos and taking pics during a visit are prohibited.
Utah School Faces Backlash For Allowing Students To Opt-Out Of Black History Month Curriculum!
A Utah charter school is facing backlash after announcing on Friday that it allowed parents to opt-out of Black History Month curriculum.
The Hill reports that Maria Montessori Academy Director Micah Hirokawa announced in a post to the school’s private Facebook page. Hirokawa said in his post that “a few families” asked not to participate in the curriculum. He did not provide an exact number of families or their reasoning for opting out.
“Reluctantly, I sent out a letter to our school community explaining that families are allowed to exercise their civil rights to not participate in Black History Month at the school,” Hirokawa wrote in the post.
In celebration of Black History Month, the school is adding the curriculum to its regular social studies and history lessons. They will also make an effort to celebrate African Americans’ achievements and recognize their role in the country’s history, he told the local news outlet the Standard-Examiner.
According to the outlet, only three of the school’s 322 students are Black. This equates to about 1% of the student body, while approximately 69.6% of students are white.
The school, which bases its instruction on the Montessori method, has been open for a little over a decade. Hirokawa was hired last April after the former director, RenΓ© Baker, stepped down for reasons that were not disclosed.
