The February/March 2021 issue of ELLE Canada features Emmy-winning actress Zendaya in an exclusive conversation with her friend and ‘Dune’ co-star Timothée Chalamet.
On the cover she is glowing wearing Chanel Fall 2020 Haute Couture, but it is her Valentino Fall 2020 Haute Couture fringed dress which caught my eye, because it is the third time we have seen this piece on a celebrity following Dua Lipa and Tracee Ellis Ross.
In the issue Hollywood’s young phenom opens up about how it felt to get the nod for Outstanding Lead Actress in HBO’s ‘Euphoria,’ as well as quarantine filming, a pre-pandemic ‘Dune’ dance party with Javier Bardem and her post-win message of hope. “At this moment in time, it is hard to find joy and beauty in things, and I really think that is important,” Zendaya explains. “Right now, we as Black people need to embrace joy and not let it be taken away from us.”
The February/March issue of ELLE Canada hits stands across the country and Apple News+ on February 1, 2021.
He’s THE G.O.A.T Tom Brady and The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Win Super Bowl 2021 Against The Kansas City Chiefs!
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday to win the 2021 Super Bowl, 31-9.
The victory gave quarterback Tom Brady, in his first season with the Bucs, his seventh Super Bowl ring, an NFL record, in his 10th appearance in the game, also a league record. The 43-year-old Brady ― considered by many the greatest at his position in NFL history, but also viewed by some fans as an irritating, if omnipresent, figure ― spent his previous 20 seasons with the New England Patriots.
The Chiefs, who won last year’s Super Bowl, were hoping to become the first repeat champs since the Brady-led Patriots won the game in 2004 and 2005.
This year’s Super Bowl was a more muted affair amid the coronavirus pandemic that has killed more than 460,000 Americans. The game was played before a crowd of about 25,000 people ― and 30,000 cutouts ― at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. This was the first time a team vied for the NFL title in its home stadium. But the league took measures to make it as neutral a playing ground as possible, including nixing the signature cannon fire that traditionally celebrates every Bucs touchdown.
The Bucs, coached by Bruce Arians, were powered through much of their championship run by a strong defense that includes lineman Jason Pierre-Paul and Ndamukong Suh. The team also was helped by tight end Rob Gronkowski, a former Patriot who was coaxed out of retirement by Brady, his longtime friend.
The Buccaneers also won the 2003 Super Bowl, the team’s only other appearance in the game.

#NewMusic from Keyshia Cole Drops New Single ‘I Don’t Wanna Be In Love’!
The R&B songstress returns with “I Don’t Wanna Be in Love,” her first single in over three years. On the brokenhearted ballad, which she debuted during her record-breaking Verzuz with Ashanti last month, Keyshia tells her man it’s over.
“I don’t wanna be in love with you / Everything that we been through in spite of love / We always hesitate or just show up too late,” she sings. “And it’s true / You won’t make me out to be a fool.
The song, produced by Keyshia, Ron Fair, Gregory Edwards, and Anthony Bell, marks Keyshia’s first official release under her label, Hearts & Stars in partnership with BMG. She is now working on her eighth studio album, the follow-up to 2017’s 11:11 Reset, due in late spring.

#HipHopNews: Cardi B Responds To Accusations Of Stealing Her New Song 'Up'!
Cardi B is addressing accusations of plagiarism surrounding her new single, “Up.”
Not even 24 hours after premiering the song and music video for her track on Friday (February 5), a controversy sparked when two New Jersey rappers, Mir Pesos and Mir Fontane, blasted the Bronx native for allegedly poaching the hook from their 2020 song “Stuck.”
“@iamcardib we want my money,” Mir Pesos tweeted with a video demonstrating how “Up” sounds similar to his joint with Mir Fontane.
The Jersey artists claim the stolen lyrics in question that appear on the hook for Cardi’s new track (“If it’s up, then it’s up, then it’s up, then it’s stuck”) copies from their own hook on “Stuck,” which goes: “If it’s up, then it’s stuck / Up then it’s stuck, yeah.”
Considering Cardi’s hook also carries a similar repetition and cadence to that of Mir Pesos and Mir Fontane’s "Stuck," the accusation isn't so inconceivable.
In her defense, Cardi took to Twitter to deny jacking any lyrics and even offered what she saw as proof of her rapping the “Up” hook in a video with Megan Thee Stallion in August 2020.
“AUGUST 7th now go check buddy’s date,” Cardi tweeted, prompting Mir Fontane to retort, “We previewed ‘STUCK’ on August 6th at the end of this video and recorded it even earlier than that, Respectfully."
Even after the exchange, the “Press” star maintained her song was not inspired by the artists accusing her of plagiarism.
Responding to a doubtful fan, Cardi tweeted: “Naaa im the type of person that avoids problems & court days .If i get inspired by a song I wouldn’t mind giving a percentage or couple of thousand but I never Hurd if this man .I’m glad while I was recording this song in August I was playing wit the hook on this live.”
While it's unclear if either party has any right to lay claim to the originality of the phrase, Genius insists no foul was committed on Cardi’s end — because, apparently, “If it’s up then it’s stuck” is a commonly used in southern hip-hop music.
Andrew Gillum – Male Escort Involved In His Miami Hotel Room Scandal Accuses Him Of Lying, Says He Knowingly Took Drugs That Night!
The male escort involved in Andrew Gillum’s Miami night scandal is breaking his silence and sharing his side of the story. As we previously reported, last March former politician Andrew Gillum made headlines after he was found intoxicated in a Miami hotel room with crystal meth and two other men. Nude photos of the former mayor of Tallahassee laying on the hotel room floor were leaked online as well.
According to Andrew Gillum, he did not knowingly take any drugs that night and believes that his alcoholic drink might have been drugged. However, according to the male sex worker who was also in the hotel room, Travis Dyson, that isn’t the truth.
During a recent interview with GQ, Travis Dyson claimed that Andrew Gillum passed out in the Miami hotel room because he was under the influence of an ecstasy-type drug (mixed with alcohol) that he knowingly took himself. He also said that he met Andrew Gillum a few weeks prior to the incident off of the gay-dating app Grindr and that they had allegedly done drugs together multiple times throughout that period.
According to Travis Dyson, even though he took the nude photos of Andrew Gillum, and sent the images to his friends, it wasn’t done with ill intentions. But instead to show Gillum what happened once he came to. He also claimed that despite Gillum’s side of events, he wasn’t set up. Travis Dyson said he took care of Gillum for hours before he accidentally overdosed himself. Dyson continued and said that another male sex worker from that night didn’t know Andrew Gillum and called 9-1-1 once he arrived and saw what had taken place. Travis Dyson added,
“Everything I did was trying to help Andrew.”
What are your thoughts on Travis Dyson’s claims?
Alex Rodriguez Steps Out With Jennifer Lopez Amid Alleged DM Scandal With 'Southern Charm' Star!
Alex Rodriguez, fiancé of Jennifer Lopez, is denying ever meeting Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy after the reality star claimed they exchanged DMs.
On last week’s reunion episode for the Bravo reality show, LeCroy — recently in the headlines for drama with Jay Cutler and his ex-wife Kristin Cavallari — was accused of sleeping with an unnamed, off-the-market ex-MLB player while still in a relationship with castmate Austen Kroll last year. Off-screen speculation followed that the baseballer in question was J.Lo’s fiancé since March 2019, leading LeCroy to give an interview saying they had been messaging each other, but never met.
A rep for Rodriguez has not yet responded to Yahoo Entertainment’s request for comment, but a source close to the sports commentator told People, “It’s a B.S. story. Alex has never met her.”
However, a Rodriguez insider told the New York Post’s Page Six that while “he doesn’t know this woman,” they did have contact. “Look, does this mean he didn’t DM her and liked a photo or two? I guess not, but he doesn’t know her — and he definitely didn’t hook up with her.”
Amid the drama, Rodriguez shared an Instagram video on Wednesday showing him driving with Lopez as she rocked out to "Best of You" by Foo Fighters. The same day, they were later seen dining out at a Miami restaurant — as if there was no drama at all.
LeCroy escalated all this Wednesday by giving an interview to Page Six, claiming she had “spoken on the phone” to Rodriguez, but adding, “He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée with me.”
The salon owner said she’s “talked to him randomly, but not consistent,” and wouldn’t detail the content of the calls other than to say it was all “innocent.”
LeCroy, a single mom, didn’t say exactly when the calls took place, only saying “all this stuff was a year ago [but] it’s being aired now.” (The reunion show taped in December. LeCroy and Kroll split during quarantine but had been off and on before that.)
Page Six described LeCroy as “distraught-sounding” during the interview and also saying, “I don’t know what to do. I have tried to be as quiet as possible. I don’t want anything bad for his family, or for mine. We are definitely innocent in this.”
She also said the rumor took off because, “I told the wrong person,” that she’d been in contact with A-Rod.
During last Thursday’s Southern Charm reunion special moderated by Andy Cohen, Craig Conover accused LeCroy of sleeping with other men — specifically, flying to Miami to f--- an ex-MLB player” — while working out her on-again, off-again relationship with Kroll.
While she said the story was “fake,” Conover and Kroll claimed she showed messages between herself and the former athlete. The jock’s name was said but bleeped out.
LeCroy confirmed to Page Six that the mystery name was Rodriguez’s, but she told Bravo “they couldn’t use that."
Earlier this month, LeCroy posted screenshots of exchanges between herself and Cutler which suggested they were having a relationship. Whatever they had going on fizzled with Cutler confronting LeCroy over comments she made on Instagram Live suggesting his estranged wife Cavallari wasn’t a good mother.
Rodriguez has been dating Lopez since early 2017. They became engaged two years later, blending their families (they each have two kids). They were supposed to get married in 2020, but the pandemic put the kibosh on what would have been Lopez’s fourth wedding.
Rumors have swirled throughout A-Rod and J.Lo’s relationship claiming he’s been unfaithful. Lopez has said she knows “what the truth is.”
In Rodriguez’s divorce from first wife Cynthia, she called him a serial cheater, saying their marriage was “irretrievably broken because of the husband's extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct.” One of the women he was linked to at the time was Madonna, but she denied an affair.
Diddy Accuses Sean John of Stealing His Image in $25 Million Lawsuit!
Diddy has reportedly entered his second legal battle with Sean John, accusing the brand and its owner, GBG USA, for falsely attributing a quote to him to promote a new clothing line in a $25 million lawsuit.
AllHipHop reports that his complaint, which was filed in Manhattan on Thursday, says that Sean John created a new collaborative line with women’s clothing retailer Missguided and illegally used Diddy’s image, likeness, and persona without his consent.
Diddy launched Sean John in 1998 and later sold it to Global Brands Group in 2016. He claims that he never endorsed the line, nor did he give Sean John, Missguided and GBG permission to use his name. However, the companies concocted some quotes to make it appear as if he was connected to the new Sean John x Missguided brand.
“[Diddy] does not challenge [Sean John/GBG’s] right to use the Sean John trademark, but rather [Sean John/GBG’s] decision to leverage a fabricated quote they created and then falsely attributed to Mr. Combs, and to use Mr. Combs’s name and other monikers to create the false and misleading impression that Mr. Combs is the decision-maker behind the designs and creation of the GBG Collection,” Diddy’s lawyer Jonathan D. Davis said.
Additionally, Diddy says that the brands used his image in a short ad campaign video to advertise the new line. “[Sean John, GBG and Missguided] are using the Unapproved Material, which contains false or misleading representations of fact, to promote and sell the items in the GBG Collection because they understand that associating it with Mr. Combs will significantly increase sales and profits,” Diddy’s lawyer Jonathan Davis added.
Last month, Diddy reportedly filed his first lawsuit against Sean John over the trademark for the phrase “Vote Or Die.” He alleges that Sean John and GBG have illegally used and trademarked the phrase and was selling merchandise bearing the slogan during the presidential election.
Ex-Boxing Champ Leon Spinks Dead at 67!
The sports world is mourning the death of boxing legend Leon Spinks.
USA Today reports the former heavyweight champion died Friday night at the age of 67, following a years-long battle with cancer. His wife, Brenda Spinks, was reportedly by his side at the time of his death.
The St. Louis native rose to prominence in 1978, when he defeated Muhammad Ali for the world heavyweight title. It was an especially shocking upset, as Spinks had entered the match with only seven professional fights under his belt, and was about 25 pounds lighter than Ali.
“Ali thought I was a wimp and I had to prove to him I wasn’t,” Spinks recalled in 2014. “I knew I could beat him after watching his fights.”
The former U.S. Marine and Olympic gold medalist would continue to fight until 1995, retiring with a 26-17-3 (14 KOs) record. He was inducted into the National Boxing Hall of Fame in 2017.
Spinks experienced a number of health issues throughout his final years. In 2012, he was diagnosed with brain shrinkage due to the days he spent in the ring. He was hospitalized with abdominal problems two years later and had to undergo multiple emergency surgeries. He would go on to be diagnosed with prostate cancer, which reportedly spread to his bones.
“Rest in peace, Leon Spinks,” World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman tweeted Saturday. “Olympic medalist, Pan American medalist, and of course, WBC heavyweight champion.”

The spokesperson added, “Given the serious nature of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production in order to gather more information.”

Kevin Hart Faces Lawsuit For Canceled Appearance, Bungled Refund!
Kevin Hart and others cost an event planning company tens of thousands of dollars after the comedian’s appearance at an event got canceled and a refund for it was bungled, a new lawsuit alleges.
AIM Hospitality Group LLC and president Maksim Vladimirskiy claim that Hart agreed to appear at an afterparty event they were putting on July 28, 2018, at the Highline Ballroom in Manhattan to follow Hart’s New Jersey standup performance earlier that night. Hart agreed he would also make two Instagram posts prior to promote the party, according to a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit filed Wednesday.
Vladimirskiy agreed to pay Hart $26,000 for the appearance and he paid Hart $10,000 in advance as a deposit on April 9, the court papers say.
But in the months leading up to the event, the “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” actor still hadn’t promoted his appearance at the party and AIM realized “Hart had no intention of honoring the instagram agreement,” the court documents allege.
So by early July, just a few weeks before, AIM asked for a refund of the deposit it paid, the court filing says.
In the meantime, AIM had spent $12,000 advertising the event, the court papers claim.
From July through September, one of Hart’s agents “strung along plaintiffs, promising the refund” and blaming others “for sending the refund to the wrong persons,” the court documents claim.
By 2019, still not having received the money, AIM learned that Hart’s appearance at the party had actually been canceled May 18, 2018, while Hart’s agent led them “to believe that the event was on track,” the suit alleges.
Further, Hart’s lawyers told AIM in 2019 that a refund of the $10,000 deposit had been issued but it went to the wrong people, the court documents claim.
Hart’s “appearance at a venue is worth large sums of money to promoters,” the suit says. “Hart’s mere appearance, even if for a few minutes, draws a crowd.”
But Hart’s employees “willfully disregarded their contractual obligations by using delay tactics and making false promises to perform,” the suit charges. “Defendants recklessly issued a refund to the wrong party and without any attempt to fix the careless error made excuses for their own mismanagement of accounts.”
AIM is suing Hart, his two companies, one of his agents and an exec at one of his companies for a total of $390,000 in damages, the court papers say.
Hart’s reps did not immediately return a request for comment.
Hart was also sued in 2019 when a women claimed his bodyguards knocked her over and injured her eye socket outside a screening of his movie “The Upside.” That case is still pending.

Nick Cannon rehired as host of ‘Wild ‘N Out’!
Nick Cannon is returning as host of “Wild ‘N Out. The 40-year-old presenter was fired from the show last July for making anti-Semitic remarks during an episode of his podcast, for which he subsequently apologized and held meetings with prominent members of the Jewish community in a bid to learn.
MTV Entertainment Group spokesperson told “Entertainment Tonight”: “Nick has not only apologized and taken responsibility for his comments, but he has also worked to educate himself and others through engagement with Jewish leaders and on his platforms.
“Those efforts are of the utmost importance and that’s why we have invited him to rejoin our team.”
Production on new seasons of the show are expected to resume later this year and reruns of past episodes have been added back to the programming schedule.
Cannon previously insisted he never meant to spread “hate and propaganda” against Jewish people.
He said: “I know how you could have taken many of the things that I said as hate and propaganda, but that was never my heart and intentions, I was talking about how amazing Black people were, but it hurt so many people that weren’t a part of that community while I was trying to encourage and uplift my own community.”
“The Masked Singer” host extended his “deepest and most sincere apologies” following the backlash over his comments when he admitted to being ignorant and uneducated on the subject of anti-Semitism.
He said in part of a lengthy social media statement: “First and foremost I extend my deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth during my interview with Richard Griffin.
“They reinforced the worst stereotypes of a proud and magnificent people and I feel ashamed of the uninformed and naive place that these words came from. The video of this interview has since been removed.
“I am committed to deeper connections, more profound learning and strengthening the bond between our two cultures today and every day going forward.”
DJ Spinderella Says 'Relationship Is Over' With Salt-N-Pepa, Calls Biopic Exclusion 'Insulting'!
DJ Spinderella is elaborating on the state of her friendships with Salt-N-Pepa members Cheryl "Salt" James and Sandra "Pepa" Denton, after having been excluded from participating behind-the-scenes in Lifetime's biopic about the Grammy-winning female rap group.
"The relationship is over," Spinderella, whose real name is Deidra Roper, said in a Billboard interview published Thursday.
In regards to a potential reunion for the trio, she said "the only way something like that would happen is if we get this business handled and that they offer an apology to me.
"When you have a legacy, you want to make sure that would outweigh this stuff. So I'm not, you know, I'm not closed off to that, but I will be respected. I will be treated fairly," she continued. "I will never be in a group that does not want to be with me."

Salt-N-Pepa: DJ Spinderella says she was 'wrongfully excluded' from participating in Lifetime's Salt-N-Pepa biopic
Roper went on to describe her disappointment of feeling "not needed," despite Salt-N-Pepa's legacy "to uplift women."
"How are we going to uplift women if we can't uplift each other? How does that make me feel, that you make me feel that I'm not needed. ... That's not uplifting," she said, adding that her exclusion from the biopic was "insulting."
The rise and impact of the rap group were dramatized in the Lifetime movie "Salt-N-Pepa," which premiered Jan. 23. In it, James and Denton, played respectively by G.G. Townson and Laila Odom, record a tune for a co-worker's class project and ultimately end up being Grammy Award-winning artists who help change the genre. Directed by Mario Van Peebles ("New Jack City," "Empire") and executive produced by Queen Latifah, it also featured Monique Paul as Spinderella.
On Wednesday, James appeared on "The Real" to reveal that she had reached out to Roper.
"I feel like this is very unfortunate. We’ve come to a crossroads where we have decided to agree to disagree. I definitely am open and Pepa’s open. We’ve talked about it and our hearts are open, have always been open to Spinderella. As far as the public is concerned, I’m really happy about the people who know that they don’t know everything. There’s six sides to every story. We just hope that we can come to some sort of resolution in the future. You never know. You never know what God is doing.”
Denton also clarified that the project's main focus was "the friendship of Sandy and Cheryl back in college."
“I just wanted to add to that, but I do want to clear up, there is a part that when Spinderella did say we excluded her," Denton said. "That part, Salt and I did reach out to consult with the movie. But yes, Spinderella joined us, a part of it."
She continued: "We will always acknowledge her contribution that she’s done with us. She will always be our sister. We love her, but we have always made sure that she had the opportunity and the platform. We always encourage her to be Spinderella and be supportive of her, so that is important.”
Roper previously shared her grievances about the group in January, tweeting that there is "nothing more unacceptable than a woman being silenced by another woman."
Woman Suffers Permanent Damage After Using Industrial Item On Her Hair: 'Bad, Bad, Bad Idea'!
TikToker Tessica Brown learned the hard way that Gorilla Glue is not a suitable replacement for hairspray.
On Feb. 3, Brown explained to her followers why she has been rocking the same hairstyle for “about a month now,” and that it’s very much not by choice.
Typically, Brown said that when she does her hair, she likes to “finish it off” with some hairspray “just to keep it in place.” Well, about a month ago, she didn’t have any more hairspray, so she used the next-best thing available to her: Gorilla Glue spray.
In case you aren’t familiar, Gorilla Spray Adhesive is intended to be used on surfaces like wood, stone, foam, metal and glass. It is a heavy duty polyurethane adhesive.
It didn’t take long for Brown to realize that using Gorilla Glue on her hair was a “bad, bad, bad idea.” Almost a month later, her hair is in the same exact style — and that’s because she cannot wash the glue out or brush her hair.
Brown’s haircare blunder has gone viral on both TikTok and Twitter, where users have weighed in expressing shock, horror and sympathy.
“There’s no way you could’ve thought that was a good idea,” one person said.
“We are so concerned for you, sis,” another added.
How to remove Gorilla Glue from your hair
The Gorilla Glue Company got wind of what happened to Brown, and on Twitter, an employee instructed her on how to (hopefully) remedy the situation.
“We do not recommend using our products in hair as they are considered permanent,” the company wrote. “You can try soaking the affected area in warm, soapy water or applying rubbing alcohol to the area.”
People have a few theories as to how Brown ended up mistaking Gorilla Glue for hairspray. One theory is that since her normal spray is Got 2b Glued Blasting Freeze Spray, she might have thought it was literally glue. Another theory is that she mistook the Gorilla Spray Adhesive for Moco De Gorilla Hair Gel, a popular styling product.
Fox Business
Network Has Cancelled The Show “Lou Dobbs Tonight”!
Fox Business Network announced in a statement on Friday that they have decided to cancel “Lou Dobbs Tonight.”
On his show, host Louis “Lou” Dobbs has regularly pushed the narrative that the 2020 presidential election was rigged in favor of Democratic candidate Joe Biden.
In the statement, Fox News did not indicate whether the show was booted due to Dobb’s false claims. However, in a statement Friday, they attributed the cancellation to routine programming alterations previously foreshadowed last fall. It is unclear if Dobb’s will continue to work with Fox News on other endeavors.
The statement explained that Fox News “regularly considers programming changes and plans have been in place to launch new formats as appropriate post-election, including on Fox Business — this is part of those planned changes.”
The replacement for “Lou Dobbs Tonight” is expected to be announced soon, Fox News confirmed. The last show aired on Friday, with a guest host sitting in for Dobbs. He has not immediately commented on the cancellation.
For now, “Fox Business Tonight” will air in its place for the time starting 5 p.m. on Monday.
