Billie Eilish for Vanity Fair - March 2021!
Billie Eilish has seldom been seen through the duration of the pandemic as she spends time at home working on upcoming projects and raising her 10-month-old pit bull, Shark. But when the 19-year-old singer stepped out in October to meet up with her brother for a day at the beach, the singer was forced into the center of conversations taking place online, both shaming and praising Eilish for her appearance.
“There’s this picture of me running from my car to my brother’s front door on like a 110-degree day in a tank top. And people were like, ‘Damn, Billie got fat!'” she told Vanity Fair during the latest of her video interviews with the magazine. “And I’m like, “Nope, this is how I look, you’ve just never seen it before!’”
Now, on the cover of Vanity Fair’s March 2021 issue, Eilish is further addressing that moment and the concern that it caused for her family.
“I think that the people around me were more worried about it than I was, because the reason I used to cut myself was because of my body. To be quite honest with you, I only started wearing baggy clothes because of my body,” she said of her signature oversized shirts and shorts. “I was really, really glad though, mainly, that I’m in this place in my life, because if that had happened three years ago, when I was in the midst of my horrible body relationship — or dancing a ton, five years ago, I wasn’t really eating. I was, like, starving myself.”
Eilish also recalled taking “a pill” in the hopes that it would help her to lose weight. “It only made me pee the bed — when I was 12. It’s just crazy,” she said. And although she alluded to being in a better place, Eilish admitted that it isn’t easy to see the opinions of others plastered across the internet.
“I thought that I would be the only one dealing with my hatred for my body, but I guess the internet also hates my body. So that’s great,” she said, before concluding, “The internet hates women.”
Among the many people — fans and fellow celebrities alike — defending Eilish against the vitriol was actress Kat Dennings, who tweeted to say that the teen is “beautiful and normal.” Dennings later spoke to Entertainment Tonight about what incited her to speak out. “Any woman in the spotlight is already under a tremendous amount of pressure and the internet is gross and awful and I hate it,” she said.
That pressure is something that Eilish herself addressed in a short film released on YouTube after her tour, which kicked off in March, was canceled because of the coronavirus.
“Though you’ve never seen my body, you still judge it and judge me for it. Why? You make assumptions about people based on their size. We decide who they are. We decide what they’re worth,” Eilish says in the video. “If I wear more, if I wear less, who decides what that makes me? What that means? Is my value based only on your perception? Or is your opinion of me not my responsibility?”
#RHOA: Kenya Moore Brings Daughter on Trip, Doesn't 'Extend Option' to Cast to Invite Their Kids!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast trip hasn't even begun, but someone already wants to go home.
On Sunday's episode of the Bravo reality series, Kenya Moore invited her costars — Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, Drew Sidora and Cynthia Bailey — on a beach getaway to Isle of Palms, South Carolina.
But while Kenya coordinated for her 2-year-old daughter, Brooklyn, and nanny to come along on the trip, she didn't tell her fellow cast members that her little girl would be attending — or extend the same invitation for them to bring their own children.
Ahead of the trip, Kenya, 50, had lunch with LaToya Ali, and shared that she would be bringing both her nanny and Brooklyn on the trip. She also "arranged" for herself, Brooklyn, the nanny and LaToya to "fly private" from Georgia to South Carolina.
As to why the other women wouldn't be included in the airline transportation? Kenya told LaToya, 34, that "it doesn't make sense for all of us, because once you get into your mid-sized jets and your large jets, then it becomes like, $50,000," which she said she wouldn't spend.
"But if it means us getting there ahead of the girls and making sure Brooklyn is comfortable and the nanny, then I'm okay with that," she added.
She further revealed to LaToya that she and estranged husband Marc Daly couldn't talk, and claimed that she was restricted on what she could and could not do with Brooklyn.
"There are too many things that come up where he fights with me on what I can and cannot do with Brooklyn. I cannot take Brooklyn out of the country in certain places because I need his permission," Kenya alleged. "I can't even feature Brooklyn in my newest hair care line ads because I need his permission."
At the time, Kenya and Marc had been separated for a year, and she said she was planning to file for full custody, saying, "I have full custody already."
(On Saturday, Marc told The Root that the pair had split for a second time after reconciling. "After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage. I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom," he said in a statement.)
The decision to take a private plane stood in stark contrast to what she arranged for the other peach-holding Housewives: a sprinter van, which the women complained had "no air-conditioning."
"If they don't like the arrangements I made for them, I'm sure they have a platinum or gold or black American Express card that they can pull out if they want to — well, I can't say that, because some of them have really bad credit, I'm sure," Kenya told cameras about how she thought the other women would react to news of her taking a private jet.
Also during the lunch, Drew, 35, called Kenya to invite her to a dinner she would be hosting for some of the ladies before the trip. Kenya, who asked if LaToya could also be invited, revealed that she and LaToya would be going "ahead of all of you guys ... on a little private jet."
Fast-forward to Drew's dinner, Porsha, 39, disclosed that LaToya — who was absent from the evening — had been talking negatively about Drew's wig. During the meal, Kenya also laid out the details of the trip, saying the women needed to meet at Kandi's house, where they would be getting on the sprinter van that she'd "arranged."
"So we're all going to be on the sprinter together, all of the ladies?" asked Drew.
"LaToya and I are going down ahead of time, just to make sure the house is prepared," Kenya told Drew, who questioned if the pair would be taking their own van. "No, we don't have a sprinter," said Kenya.
Pretending that she didn't know about their commuting details, Drew asked how Kenya and LaToya would be traveling east.
"As I get to know Drew, I think that she is a bit sneaky," Kenya told cameras. "I had a conversation with Drew and I told her the information about the private jet."
Drew's side of the story was different, though. "No more than 10 minutes" after the phone call with Kenya, "I get a text message from Kenya telling me, 'Don't tell the other ladies about the private jet,'" Drew told cameras.
Kenya eventually disclosed to the women that she would be flying private, saying "it just made more sense. We'll get there quick and we'll figure it out and you guys will have everything laid out for you when we get there."
Later, as the women packed for the trip, they also coordinated care for each of their children — including Porsha, who shares daughter Pilar Jhena, almost 2, with Dennis McKinley.
The day of the trip, Kenya, her daughter, the nanny and LaToya boarded the plane. Meanwhile, some of the other ladies said "emotional" goodbyes to their children. "I cried this morning," Porsha told Kandi before stepping onto the van. (Cynthia traveled separately because she had a "business obligation.")
While commuting on the sprinter, the women complained about it not having air conditioning. "I don't believe that we sittin' up on this bus that ain't got no damn air," said Porsha.
"I didn't know I was going to be on this janky, hot, reject bus. Like, I'm sweating in places I didn't even know I could be dripping from," she told cameras.
With the women already heated from the lack of cool air, temperatures rose even higher when they saw that Kenya had posted an Instagram photo of Brooklyn aboard the jet.
"Wait, she brought her baby?" Porsha asked. "That is mother-f---ed up because I was crying this morning. ... If we were bringing our kids, wouldn't you have liked to bring your kid? It should've been known," she said, adding that she was "ready to f---ing go home" before even arriving.
In a confessional, Porsha added: "The double standards? That's not what's going to happen on this trip. The fact that Kenya brought her daughter and didn't even extend the option to me, Kandi, Drew, Shamea to bring our kids, that's just wrong."
Despite the other women's opinions, Kenya — who also organized for Brooklyn and the nanny to have their own private villa — stood by her decision.
"I don't care who knows that I'm taking a private jet. I'm doing what's best for my family," she said in a confessional. "Who should have anything to say about that?"
She also told cameras: "It would be nice to have a husband that could take care of our child for a week while I go on vacation with the girls, but I've never left Brooklyn with anyone, including my husband, overnight. So this is how it has been, and maybe someday things will change."
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.

Vanessa Bryant says she'll 'never understand' the tragedy that took Kobe and Gianna's lives!
Vanessa Bryant still can’t wrap her head around the tragedy that killed her husband, Kobe Bryant, their daughter Gianna Bryant and seven others.
On Tuesday — which marked one year since the helicopter crash — the 38-year-old widow shared a letter written about Gianna, 13, by one of her best friends. She said the “thoughtful” letter “beautifully” captured her “incredible” daughter, adding, “I miss my baby girl and Kob-Kob so much, too. I will never understand why/how this tragedy could’ve happened to such beautiful, kind and amazing human beings. It still doesn’t seem real. Kob, we did it right. Gigi, you still make mommy proud. I love you!”
The letter written by Aubrey Callaghan remembered the budding basketball player’s beautiful smile and how she was not only “kind, caring and endlessly polite,” but pushed her friends “to be better.” She wrote about Gianna being “fiercely competitive” on the basketball court, taking a page from her Lakers star dad, but also how the teen excelled in their school musical and on the student council. She said beyond that, Gianna was just a good friend, always sharing a snack or leaving a positive note in her notebook.
Callaghan said, “If I ever become a mom, I hope my daughter turns out exactly like yours did.”
While Callaghan wrote she often thinks about what Gianna could have been, she wanted to share with the grieving Vanessa “a glimpse of the joy in who the daughter you created and raised was. You did it right, Mrs. Bryant, and we are all eternally grateful to you. I am so blessed I got to have time with your angel of a daughter, and thank you for giving me that chance.”
On Jan. 26, 2020, Kobe and Gianna — along with 7 others, including Gianna’s young basketball teammate Alyssa Altobelli and her mother Keri — died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, Calif. Kobe, who retired from the NBA in 2016, was 41.
Vanessa, who is raising the couple’s three other children, has openly shared her grieving, first at the February memorial for her husband and daughter, and since documenting her highs and lows with her 14 million Instagram followers. (A separate low is a lawsuit filed against her by her mother.)
Leading up to this anniversary, Vanessa called on the coverage of the first anniversary of the tragedy to be “tasteful.” Vanessa, who started dating the sports star as a high schooler and married him in 2001, asked media outlets not to run footage of the “wreckage, helicopter in the air, or accident scene” — which she is suing over — as she and her kids “do NOT want to see it. Our year has been traumatic enough.
Wendy Williams: My Ex, Kevin Hunter, Became An ‘Ass’ With Success!
Wendy Williams taking time off to be with family after her mom’s death
Wendy Williams says ex-husband Kevin Hunter’s behavior worsened as they made more money together.
“…Kevin became an ass for lack of a better word. He, the more successful I got and he got, and we believed in each other, the more of a jerk he became,” Williams, 56, said on SiriusXM’s “The Jess Cagle Show” on Monday.
“He used his good credit to purchase property that he chose to wine and dine his extra marital affairs. This girl, wasn’t the only one,” Williams continued, referring to Sharina Hudson. “She just happens to be the one who kept his baby.”
As previously reported, Hunter and Hudson welcomed a baby girl in March 2019, just weeks before Williams filed for divorce.
Williams, who is promoting her new Lifetime documentary, “Wendy Williams: What A Mess,” said that while Hudson was with the new baby, Hunter was with Williams “begging forgiveness” and telling her they were “meant to be together.”
Williams recently described her ex-husband, with whom she shares 20-year-old son Kevin Hunter Jr., as a “serial cheater” and doubled down on her assessment again, saying, “I plotted to divorce Kevin and I sacrificed a lot of myself to come out successful on the other side.”
Hunter didn’t immediately respond to request for comment.
Dr. Dre's Father Claims Son Doesn't 'Give a Damn' About Him: 'We Have No Relationship'!
It's been a tumultuous year for Dr. Dre, after a very public divorce and a health scare had him making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Now it seems that the rapper-turned-mogul might have a new fire to put out, after his father, Theodore Young, gave a tell-all interview.
In the piece, which is billed as a look "inside the world of Dr. Dre," Young claims that he and his very famous son have virtually no relationship at all.
"I haven’t seen Andre since his grandfather died and I can’t even remember when that was," the 73-year-old said, adding that Dre's success is at least partially to blame for their strained relationship.
"We have no relationship. My other sons love me. They tell me they love me," he explained. "But coming from where I come from, most young men like Andre who have a big success don’t give a damn about their dad."
In Dr. Dre's defense, it appears as though he and his father didn't have much of a relationship before fame became a factor. Young admits that he and Dre's mother, Verna, split shortly after Dre was born. Verna has also gone on record accusing Young of abuse (accusations that he denied). Young also confesses that he wasn't exactly a pillar of love and support during Dre's childhood.
"His grandmother raised him," Young said, before alleging that Dre's mother and grandmother "sprinkled a whole lot of salt" on him.
As Dr. Dre's divorce from his estranged wife Nicole Youngcontinues to play out in public, several narratives are being painted about him. His oldest daughter, LaTanya Young, revealed that she hasn't spoken to her father in 17 years and that Dre has never met his grandchildren. Young has also claimed that she was abused by Dre, allegations that he denied.
"She is throwing the father of her children under the bus," a source close to Dre told Page Six said of Young's allegations. "It broke his heart." Sources added that Dre is trying hard not to be seen as "misogynistic or abusive in his divorce."
Dre is recovering after suffering a brain aneurysm earlier this month.

Joe Biden’s Administration To Move Forward With Putting Harriet Tubman On The $20 Bill!
Joe Biden is moving forward with plans to put American hero Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill.
Goodbye, slave-owning Andrew Jackson, and hello abolitionist and political activist Harriet Tubman. After Donald Trump delayed the process, Biden’s administration is reportedly moving forward with replacing Jackson’s face with Tubman’s face on the $20 bill, a White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters during her Monday news briefing. The Washington Post reports that a Treasury Department spokesperson confirmed the change.
This change will make Tubman the first Black person to appear on American paper currency. And it’s been years since we’ve seen women on American currency; Martha Washington appeared on a $1 bill in the 1890s, and Pocahontas was pictured in a group photo on the $20 bill in the 1860s, Reuters reports.
Derrick Johnson, the chief executive and president of the NAACP, said in a statement: “Harriet Tubman lived at a time when Congress, the Supreme Court, and our nation was abhorrently paralyzed over whether it was legal to allow one person to own another. In a true act of liberty and independence, Tubman freed herself from slavery, only to return south 19 more times, risking her own life and freedom, to save her family and hundreds of others from a life spent in slavery,” he said.
“The legacy of Harriet Tubman and other Black Americans who built the nation we know today must be recognized and celebrated in our schools, culture, and currency. The NAACP applauds the Biden administration’s announcement to change the design of the $20 bill to commemorate the full story of the significant figures in our history.”
The move is finally happening five years after Barack Obama announced plans to have Tubman on the bill in 2016. But Trump thwarted the move, sharing his admiration of Jackson and even suggesting that Tubman should just appear on the ceremonial $2 bill. He called the decision to have Tubman on the $20 bill “pure political correctness.” “Andrew Jackson had a great history,” Trump said in 2019, “and I think it’s very rough when you take somebody off the bill.”
‘Walk Away’ Social Media Campaign Founder Arrested In Connection With Capitol Riots!
The founder of the pro-Trump social media campaign “Walk Away” is the latest to have been arrested for his involvement in the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. The social media campaign aimed to get Democrats to leave their political party.
The Hill reports that Brandon Straka was charged with disorderly conduct, knowingly entering and remaining on restricted grounds, and impeding police during civil disorder, according to the indictment. Straka is currently in federal custody in Omaha.
On January 7, Straka posted a 58-minute video to Twitter detailing his involvement at the Capitol. In the video, which was sent to the FBI, he can be heard saying that he witnessed “nothing being broken” and “nobody committing any acts of violence.”
Screenshots were sent to the agency depicting Straka, describing in detail his involvement in the insurrection. Straka’s relative also contacted the FBI about a since-deleted video that they saw of him admitting he was “on the cusp” of entering the Capitol building.
“My review of Straka’s Twitter account on January 11 did not find video or any other posts from January 6, 2021, relating directly to Straka’s actions at the U.S. Capitol,” the arresting document states. “However, the FBI received tips from the public with screenshots of Straka’s Twitter activity from January 6, 2021.”
Additionally, a link was sent to the agency depicting Straka egging on a crowd that was struggling with a police officer. Straka says, “Take it away from him,” referring to the officer’s shield. The officer wrestles with the crowd, who eventually takes his shield.
Before his involvement in the Capitol riot, Straka was removed from an American Airlines flight in June over his refusal to wear a mask. A New York Times reporter filmed the incident.
