His wife Janie was by his side as the cancer spread throughout his body. He passed away in Santa Monica on Tuesday, according to TMZ. #RIP
So Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic’ was originally written for Janet Jackson!
It’s one of Britney Spears’ most iconic tracks, but it turns out that ‘Toxic’ was actually written for Janet Jackson, prior to it being offered to Australia’s own Kylie Minogue.
According to the hit’s songwriter Cathy Dennis, who spoke to Ivors Academy in a new interview, ‘Toxic’ was written during a 7-day stint in Sweden and was intended for Jackson.
“That was written in Sweden with Bloodshy & Avant [Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg] and Henrik Jonback. I went over there to write with Janet Jackson in mind,” Dennis said.
“I was there for about ten days in total. I’d had a meeting with Janet, I think in London, but it may have been in New York. I thought I’d have a go at writing something that would work for her and it didn’t come out at the time.”
“We did have this song ‘Toxic,’ though,” she continued.
“It was started on day one of seven… then took part of day two to try to finish it. And because I couldn’t quite finish it, I said, ‘Look, let’s start on something else.’ So we wrote another three songs that week and in my spare time while I was in my hotel room I was very busy editing my lyrics on ‘Toxic.’ Eventually on day seven, which was the day I was flying back to England, I had run out of time.”
“I knew that it was D-Day and I had to sing and that was what I came up with after a lot of editing.”

Smith, her partner of 27 years began a controversial relationship with Alexandra Lerner so that Dan Gasby wouldn’t get lonely after B’s passing, according to Dan Gasby in a recent interview. Rumors also began circulating that Alexandra Lerner moved into the house with Dan Gasby and B. Smith, which he adamantly denied in a recent interview, saying:
“Not true. She never lived there.”
According to Dan, the press had a “field day” with the salacious rumor because of the “racial situation,” insinuating that the speculation began because Alexandra is white.
He also revealed that he and Alexandra Lerner are no longer in a relationship, stating
“She took off. Whatever.” “Wish her well. Life has a way of whatever you deserve you’ll ultimately get.”
Dan has since become a member of the American Brain Foundation as well as the Alzheimer’s Association and encourages people to donate to these causes. He says,

Trey Songz Diagnosed With Coronavirus!
On Monday (Oct. 5), recording artist Trey Songz announced to his fans that he has tested positive for Coronavirus. The star made the reveal via an IG video.
Songz added that he’s been taking his COVID-19 testing very seriously this year, as the virus continues to infect and kill millions of people not only around the country, but the world. “I’ve taken many tests as I’ve been out protesting, food drives — of course, I have a very young son at home. So, I get tested periodically and unfortunately, this time, it came back positive,” the singer said in the clip.
Afterward, Songz felt the need to share some very important statistics about COVID-19 and exactly what it’s doing to its victims — especially those in the Black community who are experiencing the worst of it and dying the most from it.
“Seven point five million Americans have contracted COVID[-19]. One out of 1000 Black people have died from it.” he went on. “I will be taking it seriously. I will be self-quaranting. I will be in my home until I see a negative sign.”
Songz then reminded his fans that his grandfather lost his life months ago. “My grandfather passed away early this year and while it wasn’t said that it was COVID[-19], I do believe it was. So, I’ve always taken it serious,” Songz stated.
He closed his video: “If you come in contact with COVID[-19], please do the same... Don’t be like the president.”
Songz’s reference stems from Trump being discharged from Walter Reed Medical Center today after being diagnosed with Coronavirus last week, and still being infected with it.
Before his release from the hospital, Trump tweeted: “I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid[-19]. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”

Rihanna is apologizing after facing criticism for including an Islamic sacred text in her recent Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 2, on Amazon Prime. “I’d like to thank the Muslim community for pointing out a huge oversight that was unintentionally offensive in our savage x fenty show,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on October 6. “I would more importantly like to apologize to you for this honest, yet careless mistake.” Her fashion show included the song “Doom” by Coucou Chloe, which sampled a reading of a hadith, or words of the prophet Muhammad, about judgment day. Chloe apologized on Twitter on October 5, saying she “did not research” the sample in the song and would have it “urgently removed from all streaming platforms.”
In her apology, Rihanna said she did not mean to disrespect the religion. “We understand that we have hurt many of our Muslim brothers and sisters, and i’m incredibly disheartened by this!” she continued. “I do not play with any kind of disrespect toward God or any religion and therefore the use of this song in our project was completely irresponsible! Moving forward we will make sure nothing like this ever happens again. Thank you for your forgiveness and understanding, Rih.”
The 'American Idol' Auditions Will Be Different Now Due to COVID-19!
Production has begun on the upcoming fourth season of ABC’s version of American Idol and a new report has revealed how the audition episodes will be different due to COVID-19.
American Idol was one of the first shows to change things up due to the pandemic earlier this year, moving to remote shows filmed at each of the contestants’ homes for the live rounds.
Now, all of the audition episodes will be filmed at locations across California and contestants are traveling from all over the country to be there. Deadline reports that FremantleMedia has “put in place rigorous health and safety protocols to ensure that the set is as safe as possible.”
Cast and crew are being tested in accordance to all of the guidelines and everyone must wear masks on set when they aren’t on camera.
The judges – Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan – are no longer sitting at the same table. They each will have their own tables to keep with social distancing.

Taraji P. Henson is set to host a new talk show, “Peace of Mind With Taraji,” on Facebook Watch.
“I’ve long been a mental-health advocate for the black community, and created the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation in 2018 that has provided resources to thousands of people who are struggling,” she said in a statement.
Each episode will feature interviews with celebrities and everyday people, as well as mental-health experts. “I’m looking forward to bringing this new talk series to Facebook … where I can continue to create conversation around an issue that is near and dear to my heart,” she said.
The “Empire” star named her foundation after her father, Boris, who suffered from mental-health issues stemming from his experiences during the Vietnam War.
Meanwhile, Henson is also set to appear on an upcoming “Empire” spinoff.

'The Batman' Gets New Release Date in 2022, Warner Bros. Shuffles Other Movies Also!
Warner Bros. has announced new release dates for a bunch of upcoming movies, including Robert Pattinson‘s The Batman.
Earlier today, it was revealed that Dune has been pushed back from its December 2020 release date until October 1, 2021. This was The Batman‘s previous release date, so it needed a new one.
The Batman will now be hitting theaters on March 4, 2022!
Other films that have received new release dates include The Matrix 4, The Flash, Shazam 2, Black Adam, and Minecraft.

Trump Told Woodward in March He Didn’t Have Time To Meet With Fauci in Newly Released Audio!
Back in March, Donald Trump said he didn’t have “a lot of time” to meet with Dr. Anthony Fauci as the coronavirus pandemic struck the United States.
In newly released audio from a March 19 interview with Watergate journalist Bob Woodward, Trump called Fauci a “sharp guy” who has “done it before.” Still, when asked if he’s had a one-on-one with the doctor to better understand the coronavirus, Trump said, “Yes, I guess, but honestly there’s not a lot of time for that, Bob.”
“This is a busy White House,” Trump explained. “We’ve got a lot of things happening. And then this came up.”
Trump’s remarks came just days after the WHO recognized the coronavirus spread as a pandemic, as Italy, Iran, South Korea, and Japan reported a surge in cases. It also came just as the spread hit the U.S., the day before cases jumped to over 3,000 from 33 cases two days prior.
On Friday, Trump revealed that he had tested positive for the virus and announced Monday that he’d be released from the Walter Reed Medical Center in the evening. In a video on Twitter from his hospital room, Trump said that being treated for coronavirus is “the real school” and that he’s “learned a lot” about the virus.
“This isn’t the ‘let’s read the book’ school, and I get it, and I understand it, and it’s a very interesting thing,” Trump said in the video posted Sunday. “And I’m going to be letting you know about it.”
