HRH The Princess Royal — known to us as Princess Anne is not known for public interviews. But she marked her upcoming 70th birthday on August 15 in a May 2020 cover story with Vanity Fair, inviting royal correspondent Katie Nicholl to shadow her for a day, culminating in an exclusive sitdown at St. James Palace.

In ‘The Crown’, we’re reminded that Princess Anne dated Andrew Parker Bowles in the ‘70s, about the same time that her brother Prince Charles became seriously smitten with Camilla. But then Camilla married Parker Bowles, driving Charles into total grief at sea. Well, we all know how that turned out, with Charles and Camilla recently celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary.
Reflecting on the fact that three of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s children are divorced, Prince Charles perhaps spoke on behalf of the entire family in Season 3 when he described the young royals love triangles as “a bit messy.”

One of the best Queen Anne stories centers on a 26-year-old would-be kidnapper Ian Ball, who targeted Anne one March evening in 1974 as she rode towards Buckingham Palace with her husband of four months Mark Phillips, a Captain in the British army. Confronted by her attempted kidnapper Anne made it totally clear that it was “not bloody likely” she’d be going anywhere with him. And she was right. Fast forward to life in Trumplandia, and consensus was that Anne was observed shrugging her shoulders and avoiding greeting US President Donald Trump at Buckingham Palace.
Headlines opined fast and furious on the decision of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to not bestow a royal title on baby Archie. In reality, Princess Anne made the same decision to break with royal tradition by not giving her own children, Peter and Zara, HRH titles when they were born.

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are going strong as a couple, but may have hit a rough patch when it comes to parenting.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta couple decided to sit down with a marriage counselor during the April 12 episode of the show to discuss how much time Kandi was spending with her family versus her career commitments. During the convo, Burruss brought up a disagreement she had with Todd over the birthday gifts he gave his daughter Kaela, 23.
"We definitely have had arguments in the past, mainly because with Kaela, say if it's around her birthday or around Christmas, he likes to determine what we're gonna do for her during those times where he bases it off of 'Well, she needs to save money for this' or 'We should just hold it until this happens,' whatever," Kandi explained on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 After Show. "Whereas I just feel like, 'So what if she got in trouble this day? It's her birthday, so just let her do what she wants to do.'"
Kandi and Todd share Kaela and 17-year-old Riley from Tucker’s and Burress’ previous relationship, respectively, as well as the two kids they have together – three-year-old Ace and four-month-old Blaze. During the After Show, Kenya Moore told Kandi that she seems to be “the more lenient parent” to which she agreed, however Kandi also argued that Kaela is an adult who can make her decisions.
"[Todd] feels like if she hasn't been responsible in a situation or whatever, then she shouldn't get this or shouldn't do that, blah, blah, blah," she said. "But I'm just like, 'OK, but she's 23, let her live!'" Kandi also believes that Todd should be the one to be the ultimate decision-maker when it comes to his biological daughter.
"We can talk to each other about what we feel should happen in certain situations, but ultimately, you know, the 'birth parent' in that situation has the final say," she explained. "Now in the future, with our smaller kids that we have together, obviously we're gonna have to compromise a bit more."

Patriots trading Rob Gronkowski to Bucs to play with Tom Brady!
The New England Patriots have traded tight end Rob Gronkowski to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
Gronkowski is coming out of retirement has been dealt along with a seventh-round pick to the Bucs for a fourth-round pick, according to the report. The trade became official when Gronkowski passed his physical later Tuesday, according to Schefter.
The news arrived on Tuesday shortly after a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport that Gronkowski was interested in playing football again, but only to play with Brady and the Bucs.
Gronk’s return from injury-riddled Patriots run Gronkowski hasn’t played since the 2018 season that ended with the Patriots winning the Super Bowl over the Los Angeles Rams. He retired prior to last season following nine years with the Patriots that included three Super Bowl rings and a multitude of injuries that took their toll on his body.
Gronkowski said last August that he suffered a painful quad injury during the Super Bowl victory over the Rams that resulted in internal bleeding and procedures to remove blood from his leg. That ailment on top of his estimated 20 concussions and injuries to his knee, ankle, back, arm and chest over the course of his career played a role in his decision to retire.
But the opportunity to reunite with Brady in a new setting were enough to lure him back to the football field.
Gronkowski has one year and $10 million remaining on a contract that will remain valid once his return to the league is official.
Gronkowski, 30, is widely considered the best tight end to ever play the game. He retired at a young age and has visibly shed a significant portion of his playing weight since leaving the Patriots. What kind of playing shape he’ll be in whenever the NFL starts again is a mystery.
A five-time Pro Bowl selection and four-time All-Pro, Gronkowski played in 13 games during his final season with the Patriots, tallying 682 yards and three touchdowns, well off his peak production. Gronkowksi has four seasons of more than 1,000 yards receiving and five seasons with at least 10 touchdowns.
He joins an offense already loaded with receiving talent and likely won’t be asked to carry as heavy a load as he did in New England.
Wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin both made the Pro Bowl catching passes from Jameis Winston last season, and fourth-year tight end O.J. Howard has the tools to be a dangerous receiver lining up in an offense alongside Gronkowski if he remains with the team.
REDUX! Babyface Vs. Teddy Riley Instagram Battle An Epic Night Of ’90s Nostalgia!
It wasn’t the Saturday night jam it was supposed to be. But still, the much-anticipated Instagram battle between ’90s R&B greats Babyface and Teddy Riley was an epic night of nostalgia when it all went down 48 hours later on Monday night.
The IG showdown —with Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Riley rocking their hits from home — was a Monday night getdown for fans of ’90s R&B, who were bumping instead of bored in the house.
The R&B Thrilla in Manila had to be rescheduled from Saturday night — when it went up against the all-star “One World: Together at Home” benefit concert — due to technical difficulties. Babyface, in particular, wasn’t about to get ratchet, smooth operator that he is.
But two days later, the stay-at-home battle was on, with everyone from Michelle Obama and Missy Elliott to Diddy, Pharrell and Anthony Anderson joining the virtual house party. Although it didn’t go off without a hitch — there were still some technical difficulties — the two-hour session did happen, much to the delight of isolated R&B fans everywhere.
Babyface — the picture of soul sophistication, decked out in a maroon velvet blazer — and Riley, with a towel wrapped around his neck like a boxing coach, went toe to toe with hit after hit that made you realize just how much better R&B was in the ’90s.
While both Babyface and Riley were artists — the former as a solo singer, the latter as a member of the R&B group Guy — it is their work as producers that has truly stood the test of time.
Riley, the architect of the new jack swing sound in the ’90s, produced hits for Mary. J. Blige, Blackstreet and even Lady Gaga. Meanwhile, Babyface — with and without his producing partner L.A. Reid — built hits for everyone from Whitney Houston to Madonna.
So who emerged as the victor of ’90s R&B supremacy?
The edge went to Babyface, whose songs are just so much more timeless than Riley’s. From “Love Shoulda Brought You Home,” the breakout hit by Toni Braxton — who joined in on the virtual festivities — to the Whispers’ “Rock Steady” and TLC’s “Red Light Special,” his songs were more real songs than productions.
And it was great to hear Karyn White and Tevin Campbell — two Babyface protégées who seem to have fallen off the music map — get their due during this contest.
Riley, on the other hand, was a master of the moment as the new jack swing king. Songs like Keith Sweat’s definitive NJS hit “I Want Her” and Johnny Kemp’s 1988 classic “Just Got Paid” were tied to a specific time. Think Wesley Snipes as Nino Brown in “New Jack City.”
But it was cool to also be reminded that Riley helped give the great Michael Jackson some long-lost street cred with his “Dangerous” album in 1991. When he drops the beat on “In the Closet,” it’s a reminder of the genius in both of them
Trump Says He Is Suspending Immigration Over Coronavirus, Need To Protect Jobs!
President Donald Trump said Monday that he is suspending immigration to the United States in response to the coronavirus pandemic and the "need to protect jobs."
In a tweet Monday night, the president attributed the suspension to an "attack from the Invisible Enemy" and the "need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens."
He added that he would sign an executive order suspending immigration.
Trump previously restricted travel from China and Europe to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
It's not clear from the president's tweet whether the order would bar non-U.S. citizens from traveling to the country for purposes such as business or to visit family.
White House officials offered few details Monday night. The move "had been under consideration for a while," a senior administration official told NBC News. The official said that although Trump believes the U.S. is winning the fight against the coronavirus, he also thinks it is important to make every effort to get ahead and protect the borders to prevent further spread.
The official said details about how the plan would be implemented and how many countries would be affected "will be forthcoming."
The executive order could be signed as early as this week, according to the administration official, who did not offer any details about whether it had been drafted or where the process stands.
Immigration has long been an issue that has energized the president's core supporters, and Monday night's tweet will undoubtedly be no different.
Immigration to the U.S. is already functionally shut down. The Trump administration had closed the U.S.-Canada border and started deporting asylum-seekers and other migrants on the southern border without due process. International air travel has largely been suspended.
Immigration advocates and activists criticized Trump's announcement, calling the move radical and unprecedented.
"The implication is that immigrants are a threat to the American economy, but we know the exact opposite to be true," said Krish O'Mara Vignarajah, president and CEO of Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service. "While immigrants across America are on the front lines risking their lives to save ours, it is simply unconscionable to scapegoat immigrants for this pandemic."
Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., said the president was taking advantage of the situation to push his hard-line immigration policies.
"Trump failed to take this crisis seriously from day 1. His abandonment of his role as president has cost lives. And now, he's shamelessly politicizing this pandemic to double down on his anti-immigrant agenda," Harris tweeted.
The president said last month that he was discussing closing the country's borders with Mexico and Canada because of the virus. A senior official told NBC News then that the administration was exploring new restrictions amid fears that large numbers of Central Americans would try to illegally access the U.S. health care system.
According to data collected by Johns Hopkins University, Honduras has recorded 477 confirmed cases and 46 deaths, topping the so-called "northern triangle" countries — El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala.
Reuters reported Monday that Peru has been the hardest-hit Latin American country, with more than 400 deaths and nearly 16,000 cases.
Tom Brady Cited for Working Out in a Closed Tampa Park!
The Mayor of Tampa Bay, Florida says that Tom Brady was cited after he was spotted working out in a park that is closed due to the pandemic.
The 42-year-old football player recently signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he’s not going to get any special privileges from the city.
Mayor Jane Castor says that one of the park’s staff members “saw an individual working out in one of our downtown parks. She went over to tell him it was closed, and it was Tom Brady.”
“He has been cited,” Castor said, though it’s not clear if he actually received a ticket.
Parks in Tampa were closed on April 17 and will remain closed through the end of the month.
Tamar Braxton to Host ‘To Catch A Beautician’ at VH1!
Tamar Braxton is adding to her reality TV resume with hosting a new beauty series entitled “To Catch a Beautician” for VH1, Variety has learned exclusively.
The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter is partnering with celebrity hairstylist Johnny Wright on the series that debuts May 25. The duo will help clients confront the beautician who damaged their hair; Wright then puts the stylists through a “hair boot camp” before giving them the chance to redeem themselves by redoing their disgruntled clients’ hair.
In an exclusive interview with Variety on Monday, Braxton said she’s been keeping the project a secret for about a year.
“I’ve been so excited about this. This is like a dream come true to be able to host a show that’s so much fun with an amazing production company [Scout Productions] and amazing network like VH1,” Braxton said. “To meet so many amazing people and to be able to inspire and be inspired at the same time, It’s such a feel good show. … You crack up, but you feel good about yourself after watching it. I’m just really, really grateful to be a part of that.”
Braxton is a reality show veteran, sharing the screen with her family for six seasons of “Braxton Family Values,” headlining spin-off “Tamar & Vince,” competing on season 21 of “Dancing with the Stars” and winning “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2019. Braxton also co-hosted the daytime talk show “The Real” for two seasons.
Known for serving as former First Lady Michelle Obama’s personal hairstylist, Johnny Wright’s client list also includes Maxine Waters, Queen Latifah, Kerry Washington, Regina King and Janelle Monáe.
“I’d met him before at the White House when I went to go talk to Michelle [Obama],” Braxton recalled of her partnership with Wright. “It just worked. And it was just so educational and entertaining at the same time. So it was really, really refreshing.”
Speaking of her own hairstyling talents, the entertainer quipped, “Hair’s never been my strongest suit, although I can tell you what’s good and what’s not good, I just can’t do it myself.”

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez appear to be getting serious about buying the Mets.
The power couple retained JPMorgan Chase to raise capital for a possible bid, a source confirmed to The Post on Monday, two months after our newspaper first reported A-Rod and J.Lo had emerged as potential suitors to purchase the team.
“It’s real,” a source with knowledge of the situation told The Post’s Thornton McEnery of the JPMorgan Chase move.
The development was first reported by Scott Soshnick of the business platform Sportico.
Rodriguez, the controversial baseball fixture who grew up a Mets fan before becoming a polarizing star with the Yankees, was “kicking the tires” on the idea of getting into an upcoming auction for the team, The Post reported in February.
Local billionaire hedge fund manager Steve Cohen walked away from a $2.6 billion deal to purchase 80 percent of the Mets from the Wilpons, who refused to surrender control of the team for the first five years of Cohen’s ownership. Cohen still maintains his 8 percent stake in the team and hasn’t completely been ruled out as a potential buyer. No such conditions are believed to be attached moving forward as the Wilpons plan to sell the team in an auction being conducted by the team’s longtime investment banker Allen and. Co.
The 44-year-old Rodriguez and Lopez, his fiancèe, the famed 50-year-old recording star and actress, reportedly have a combined net worth of around $700 million, meaning deeper pockets would have to supplement them in order to make a potential purchase work — similar to how Derek Jeter was able to buy the Marlins for $1.2 billion with financial help from venture capitalist Bruce Sherman.
“I will say this, if the opportunity [to buy the Mets] came up, I would certainly look at it,” A-Rod said in March during an appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon.
“Maybe you can buy them with me,” Rodriguez told Fallon. “I need a partner.”
At the time, the idea of A-Rod buying the Mets was believed to be a long shot.
Now, he and Lopez are working with JPMorgan Chase managing director Eric Menell, who is the bank’s co-head of North American media investment banking. A JP Morgan spokesman declined to comment when reached Monday night.
It’s not the first time Rodriguez and the Mets have been linked, as the 14-time All-Star shortstop and third baseman flirted with playing for the Mets in 2000 before signing a then-record 10-year, $252 million deal with the Rangers. He was traded to the Yankees four years later and won a World Series with Jeter and company in 2009.
Since his steroid-tainted playing days ended in 2016, Rodriguez has found success as a baseball analyst with Fox and ESPN, and as a businessman. His investment firm, A-Rod Corp, has invested in numerous real estate deals and tech startups. And perhaps more crucial to his push to buy the Mets, Rodriguez has attended high-profile investment conferences full of big-time, potential partners.
The Wilpons purchased the majority of the Mets in 2002, but have mostly been loathed by fans of the team because in recent years they haven’t spent as much as other big-market teams. The family never seemed to rebound after it was hit hard by the Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme. After the Wilpons and partner Saul Katz were accused of allegedly turning a blind eye to the fraud they benefited from, they reached a settlement to pay $162 million to Madoff’s victims.
No other known suitors have emerged as potential candidates to buy the Mets.
New York Pride 2020 Has Been CANCELLED!
Heritage of Pride, the group that organizes New York City’s annual LGBTQ Pride events, announced on Monday that in collaboration with city officials it has decided to cancel all 2020 Pride events originally scheduled for June 14-28 due to dangers posed by the coronavirus outbreak.
“As the days have passed, it has become more and more clear that even with a decline in the spread of COVID-19, large-scale events such as ours are unlikely to happen in the near future,” said Maryanne Roberto Fine, co-chair of New York City Pride.
“We understand that we need to reimagine NYC Pride events – and have already begun to do just that,” Fine said in an April 20 statement.
Among the New York events cancelled for June was the annual LGBTQ Pride March, which was to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Christopher Street Liberation Day March of 1970. That event, which took place one year after New York’s Stonewall riots, became the nation’s — and possibly the world’s — first large-scale march for LGBTQ rights.
New York Pride spokesperson Cathy Renna said New York Pride’s general membership was scheduled to meet virtually Monday night to determine whether some of the Pride events might be rescheduled for later this year if the epidemic begins to subside. Renna noted that New York City officials would make the final decision if and when any large-scale event could take place in the city later this year based on the status of the epidemic.
The cancellation of the New York City Pride events for June comes less than a week after San Francisco announced the cancellation of its Pride parade, one of the nation’s largest, and other Pride events. Numerous other cities in the U.S. and Europe have announced either the cancellation or postponement of their 2020 Pride events.
Capital Pride Alliance, the group that organizes D.C.’s annual Pride parade, street festival and other related events, announced on Mach 30 that it was postponing its Pride events but did not say when or definitively whether they would be rescheduled for later this year.
“We will collaborate with all the agencies and our partner Prides to identify new dates and potentially new ways that our community can come together in Pride,” said Capital Pride Executive Director Ryan Bos at the time the D.C. postponement was announced. Bos told the Blade late on Monday that Capital Pride will be releasing a statement on Tuesday about the future plans for D.C.’s Capital Pride.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio issued a statement on Monday emphasizing the importance of the New York Pride events.
“New York City is the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ rights movement,” said de Blasio. “We’ve come a long way since the first Christopher Street Liberation Day March 50 years ago, which is a testament to the bravery and resiliency of LGBTIA+ New Yorkers in the struggle for equality,” he said.
“While this pandemic prevents us from coming together to march, it will in no way stop us from celebrating the indelible contributions that the LGBTIA+ community has made to New York City or from recommitting ourselves to the fight for equal rights,” he said.
Alphonso David, president of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBTQ civil rights group, issued a statement on Monday noting the impact the cancellation of Pride events will likely have on the LGBTQ community.
“In many places around the country, Pride parades and festivals offer LGBTQ people a chance to gather with their community and feel free to fully express themselves,” he said. “For this reason, it is disappointing – but ultimately appropriate – to see so many of these events cancelled.”
Added David: “As we see our way through the COVID-19 crisis, we cannot be too careful. We know that LGBTQ people are at a greater risk of both the health and economic impacts of COVID-19, so we as a community must do all we can to stay safe and healthy.”
David said HRC would continue to work with other groups to help build “digital community and programming to bring us all together in this difficult time.”
Idris & Sabrina Elba Launch Appeal For IFAD’s $200M Coronavirus Relief Fund!
Idris and Sabrina Dhowre Elba, who are recovering from mild cases of COVID-19, today helped launch a new global coronavirus relief fund on behalf of the United Nations’ International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) designed to lessen economic shocks caused by the pandemic.
With $40M in seed money from IFAD, the multi-donor COVID-19 fund aims to raise an additional $200M from governments, foundations and the private sector to ease the impact of COVID-19 on rural small-scale farmers and producers.
The fund seeks to help them continue to grow their crops, keep their businesses open and maintain access to financial services and markets as their countries deal with lockdowns and movements are restricted.
Luther star Elba told the AP last week that despite experiencing mild symptoms he and his wife had their world “turned around” after contracting the disease, calling the experience “definitely scary and unsettling and nervous.”
The Elbas, designated today as UN Goodwill Ambassadors for IFAD, visited IFAD-supported projects in rural Sierra Leone in December.
Actor Elba said, “The world’s advanced economies are in the midst of this pandemic right now and, of course, they must do everything they can to help their own people. Every death is one death too many at a time like this. But the fact is, global action is also a matter of self-interest. As long as the pandemic is still raging anywhere, it will pose a threat everywhere. IFAD needs more assistance to carry on the work that is desperately needed to keep food systems operating in rural areas if we are to come out of this crisis together and avoid needless hunger and suffering.”
Speaking about their trip, model Sabrina Dhowre Elba added, “This crisis has shown us we are only as safe as our most vulnerable people. It is in all our interests to keep local food systems going, protect rural communities and mitigate a health crisis as people who lose their jobs in the city head back to rural areas. The IFAD-run projects we saw in Sierra Leone give us hope that, with the right assistance, vulnerable rural people worldwide will be able to get through this difficult time.”
Coco Gauff’s Dad Says The Tennis Star Was Never Diagnosed With Depression: “I Knew That Was Going To Be The Word That Got Picked Up”!
Corey Gauff, father and coach of teenage tennis sensation Coco Gauff, said that his daughter endured stress from fame but was never diagnosed with depression.
Coco wrote a post for Behind the Racquet last week explaining she had a “dark mindset” last summer before Wimbledon and thought about taking a year-long break to focus on life. “Throughout my life, I was always the youngest to do things, which added hype that I didn’t want. It added this pressure that I needed to do well fast. Once I let that all go, that when I started to have the results I wanted. Right before Wimbledon, going back to around 2017/18, I was struggling to figure out if this was really what I wanted. I always had the results, so that wasn’t the issue, I just found myself not enjoying what I loved,” the 16-year-old wrote.
She continued: “For about a year, I was really depressed. That was the toughest year for me so far. Even though I had, it felt like there weren’t many friends there for me. When you are in that dark mindset, you don’t look on the bright side of things too often, which is the hardest part.”
Her father spoke with the New York Times and explained that labeling her issue as depression is incorrect. “That’s the thing that was alarming, and I knew that was going to be the word that got picked up,” Corey Gauff said. “She was never clinically depressed, never diagnosed with depression, never seen anybody about depression.”

Offset's Baby Mama Alleges Cardi B Threatened To Smack Her!
Nicole Algarin a.k.a. Shya L’amour, the mother of Offset’s eldest daughter Kalea, isn’t holding her tongue when it comes to him or his wife Cardi B.
After airing out the couple’s dirty laundry and seeking more child support, Algarin explained why she went public with the dispute and accused Cardi of threatening her.
“Y’all think that I didn’t try to come to this woman privately?” she said in an Instagram video. “I came to [Cardi] privately and respectfully, and she still come with the disrespect talking about she gon’ smack me. This is yo second time threatening me. This is yo second time threatening me! I’m done trying to save face for mothafuckas who don’t give a fuck about me and they disrespectful and stupid, bro.”
She continued, “I came to you respectful. It’s like talking to a fucking wall, man. These people slow. Women are supposed to stick together knowing that these men be on the BS … But let me not even act like it was for you. It was really for me, based on my morals and how I move and my principles.”
Algarin also claimed Cardi was acting entitled before asserting she would stop talking about her issues with the multi-platinum selling rapper.
“Why do you feel like somebody owe you something?” she asked in the clip. “Why do you feel so entitled? I don’t owe you shit. I never owed you nothing. This my last time speaking on this shit ever, ever. Like, I’m never trying to go back here. But you got me fucked up if you think you gon’ disrespect me and keep on threatening me and I’m not gonna speak my truth.”
The caption of Algarin’s post reiterated some of her points and alleged Cardi was manipulating the narrative.
“Don’t talk to the blogs behind the scenes trying to spin the narrative and think I’m not going to speak my truth,” she wrote. “them days over with. & this ain’t got nothing to do with [Offset] or our differences that will be settled in court! This is about my respect period. I let y’all slide for too long… you was literally begging and blowing up my phone to see receipts of 2018 so I showed you.”
Offset and Algarin are scheduled to be back in court in May. The mother of Kalea alleges the Migos rapper has only provided “limited financial support.”
'The Voice' Fans Furious Over Kelly Clarkson's Knockout Round Decision!
The Voice continued to showcase its Knockout Rounds on Monday. In various match-ups featuring the competitors on their own teams, the judges — Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Blake Shelton and Nick Jonas — had to choose which one of the singers on their team would be moving forward. Clarkson, in particular, had a major decision on her hands for Team Kelly, as she had to send home either Taylor Green or Micah Iverson. And fans were ultimately not pleased about who she chose to eliminate from the competition.
For their Knockout Round performances, Iverson chose to sing Halsey's "Graveyard," while Green chose "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper. Unsurprisingly, both delivered impressive vocals for their covers of the tracks. Green received a great deal of praise from the other judges, who all gave her a standing ovation. But, unfortunately, it wasn't enough to keep her in the competition. Clarkson revealed that she would be saving Iverson, which came as a great shock to the judges and fans alike.
In response to Clarkson's big move, fans of The Voice took to Twitter to express their thoughts over the "Since U Been Gone" singer's decision to eliminate Green. As you may have guessed, they weren't exactly thrilled about her choice.

Georgia’s governor announced plans Monday to restart the state’s economy before the end of the week, saying many businesses that closed to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus could reopen as early as Friday.
The governor in neighboring Tennessee planned to let businesses in most of his state begin reopening as soon as next week.
Georgia’s timetable, one of the most aggressive in the nation, would allow gyms, hair salons, bowling alleys and tattoo parlors to reopen as long as owners follow strict social-distancing and hygiene requirements. Elective medical procedures would also resume. By Monday, movie theaters may resume selling tickets, and restaurants limited to takeout orders could return to limited dine-in service.
Such a swift reopening runs counter to the advice of many experts, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government’s top authority on infectious diseases, who warned again Monday that resuming business too soon risked a fresh spike in infections.
Republican Gov. Brian Kemp said it was important to allow businesses that had been shut down a chance to get some revenue flowing. But he emphasized businesses would still be operating under restrictions including monitoring employee health, enhancing sanitation and separating workers.
“I think this is the right approach at the right time,” Kemp said. “We’re not just throwing the keys back to these business owners. We’re talking about people (who had) the government shut down their business.”
Bars, live performance venues and amusement parks will remain closed.
Kemp’s order overrides any attempt to impose stricter local decisions, but some local officials including Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said the governor is moving too quickly.
“It appears the governor’s order supersedes anything I can do as mayor, but I still have my voice and what I will continue to do is ask Atlantans to please stay at home,” Bottoms told ABC News.
“Reopen? Dangerously incompetent” is how Stacey Abrams, a Democrat who narrowly lost the 2018 governor’s race to Kemp, characterized the action on Twitter.
The governor’s actions line up with the phase one of reopening seen in the guidelines issued last week by President Donald Trump’s administration. Those guidelines call for 14 days of declining COVID-19 cases. Georgia on Monday had recorded six days of declining new infections according to a rolling seven-day average of state Department of Public Health figures. If that continued through Friday, it would be 10 days. Kemp said he delayed the reopening of sit-down service in restaurants and theaters until next Monday in part because, “I also think that gives us more time to continue to flatten the curve.”
But new infections and deaths are likely to continue to mount, even if at a reduced rate. The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation suggests Georgia shouldn’t loosen social distancing until June 15. Kemp argues he’s still mandating social distancing even as businesses reopen.
Kemp’s action comes a month after he closed many businesses and not quite three weeks after he issued a shelter-at-home order that will remain in place until April 30. Kemp said elderly and medically fragile people should continue to stay at home until May 13. Kemp’s shelter-at-home order followed days of pressure from local officials, and even after he issued the order, there were clashes over keeping open beaches, lakes and state parks. Kemp says keeping those outdoor spaces open has been a success.
The governor Monday said a decline in emergency room visits by people with flu-like symptoms indicates that infections are coming down.
“The bottom line is, social distancing worked,” state Public Health Commissioner Kathleen Toomey told a handful of reporters after Kemp’s news conference. Widespread testing is considered one cornerstone of reopening strategies.
Kemp acknowledged Georgia has lagged when it comes to COVID-19 testing and announced new initiatives to ramp it up. The state had administered more than 84,000 tests though Monday, but its per-capita testing rate is in the bottom 10 of states and lower than neighbors Alabama, Florida and Tennessee.
He said the state medical college in Augusta will begin producing thousands of swabs each day for collecting test samples. The school will also offer an online app statewide that would let people with symptoms consult with a clinician and be referred for testing if warranted. Meanwhile, the Georgia National Guard has been deploying teams capable of administering at least 1,500 tests per day to nursing home residents, emergency personnel and others.
Adjutant General Thomas Carden couldn’t say exactly how much his efforts would push up testing by, saying there could be constraints on how many test kits are available or how many kits labs could process.
“What I’ve charged General Carden to do is to take every test we got, and use it every single day,” Kemp said. “And when we run out, then we’ll figure out how to get more tests.”
In downtown Savannah, Patrick Godley’s restaurant 17 Hundred 90 has been closed for a month. His fine-dining menu doesn’t suit itself to takeout, so he just locked the doors. His cooks, waiters and dishwashers were furloughed, allowing them to draw partial unemployment benefits.
Godley said Monday he fears it’s too early to reopen for business and that doing so might trigger a new spike in infections.
“I’d rather stay closed an extra week and wipe this thing out than to open prematurely, have a second wave and have to shut down again,” he said.
Even if he did reopen next week, Godley said, he doubts he would have many customers.
“I don’t think people are going to be going out and celebrating a lot right now.”
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, also a Republican, said his mandatory safer-at-home order will expire April 30, which will pave the way for 89 of the state’s 95 counties to begin opening businesses.
Lee’s announcement did not apply to counties with the largest cities — areas that are not overseen by Tennessee’s Department of Health but have their own public health districts.
Lee said officials were “working directly with our major metropolitan areas to ensure they are in a position to reopen as soon and safely as possible.”
Some businesses will be allowed to reopen as early as April 27, but it was unclear exactly which ones. Lee told reporters that details would be finalized later this week.
Georgia’s death toll from COVID-19 hit 775 late Monday. Infections have been confirmed in more than 19,000 people.
