Well it’s been over a month since their glorious wedding and Idris Elba and wife Sabrina Dhowre are gracing the July cover of UK Vogue.
“We’ve been literally inseparable since we met,” Elba recently told Editor-In-Chief Edward Enninful on his wedding morning.
The Emmy and Golden Globe award nominated actor said the two met in 2017 in a Vancouver jazz bar, while Idris was filming “The Mountain Between Us.” Apparently, it “love at first sight.”
“You know, I’m 47 this year, been married and lived a full life before I even met Sabrina,” he continued. “It wasn’t something that I wanted to do, get married again. But…”
The “Luther” actor says that Sabrina and his own children have blended perfectly.
“Sabrina has deepened friendships with people I’ve known longer than [her], nurturing the best side of me to make me connect to my friends more.”
As we previously reported, on April 26 the actor married Dhowre in a beautiful ceremony in Marakesh, Morocco. Vogue UK wrote that Elba wore a custom suit by Ozwald Boateng and Dhowre stunned in a Vera Wang gown with an off-the-shoulder detail.
For the reception, the glowing bride had a wardrobe change to another Wang classic, a V-neck dress complete with couture lace.
Apparently, their nuptials will be three-day event, with the newly married couple hosting an all-white party on Saturday. And on Thursday, they hosted an extravagant rehearsal dinner at Amanjena on Thursday, according to Vogue.
“There was a huge festive party with camels and fire dancers and dancing,” a source told PEOPLE. We love to see a happy couple in love!

#RHOA: He’s OUT! Apollo Nida Has been Released From Prison!
A spokesperson for RRM Philadelphia exclusively confirmed to Radar that he was released from Fort Dix Correctional Facility and is in their halfway house.
“He will be here until October 15, 2019,” the spokesperson said. Apollo was sent to prison in 2014 for an eight-year sentence after his bank fraud and identity theft conviction. Sherien kept their romance alive, posting updates on her social media of their relationship while he finished out his sentence. Apollo proposed to Sherien behind bars, promising to marry her upon his release from prison. Bravo actually turned down Phaedra’s request to return to the show, not counting on Apollo being released so early.
Apollo was found guilty of cashing stolen checks and laundering over $2.3 million through fake bank accounts. Apollo’s original release date was August 29, 2020. A federal judge reduced his sentence by a full year in March.
#Empire: Don’t Believe the Hype! Rumor Foiled! Jussie Smollett Will Not Be Returning for Empire’s Final Season
Jussie Smollett, will not be returning for Empire’s sixth and final season. The show’s co-creator, Lee Daniels, confirmed the news in a statement on Tuesday. Smollett’s future on the Fox show has been up in the air since he was indicted for allegedly filing a false police report following what he described as a racist and homophobic attack. He was later accused of having hired the men who assaulted him out of dissatisfaction with his Empire salary. Smollett maintained his innocence, and in an unexpected reversal in March, the charges against him were dropped. But questions surrounding the case remained, and the city of Chicago is suing the actor in order to recoup the cost of the investigation.
Due to lingering uncertainty, many wondered whether Smollett’s role on Empire would be eliminated. His departure has now been confirmed, courtesy of a tweet from Daniels:
The revelation arrived in response to a Variety report in which production sources said that Empire writers were working under the expectation that Smollett would eventually be back in Season 6. His character was removed from the final episodes of Season 5 following the controversy “to avoid further disruption on set,” producers said in a statement in February.
Tensions on set have reportedly been high since the case against Smollett, and in April, Empire cast members appealed for his return in a letter to Fox executives. “Together, as a united front, we stand with Jussie Smollett and ask that our co-star, brother and friend be brought back for our sixth season of Empire,” read the letter, which was signed by series stars including Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard. According to Variety, the Empire team remains divided: The show’s cast, which is mostly black, still believes Smollett is innocent, while many of its mostly white below-the-line crew think him guilty.

Ahead of its release later this month, Chris Brown has revealed the tracklisting for his ninth album. Taking to Instagram, he shared the illustrated packaging containing the track titles.

Rihanna’s rise to the top was driven by her Fenty Beauty brand, which earned an estimated $570 million in revenue last year in just 15 months of business. The French luxury goods conglomerate LVMH co-own the makeup brand with Rihanna, with Forbes estimating the company to be worth $3 billion, and that LVMH owns an estimated 50% of the brand while Rihanna owns about 15%.
The singer’s fortunes will only likely grow over the next year, as the singer launches a new Fenty high-end fashion brand with LVMH, making her the first back woman to run a major luxury fashion house.
The new Fenty line launched with a pop-up in Paris on May 24 and became available on Fenty’s website on May 29, with Rihanna planning to release new products via innovative monthly drops, in which several new items at a time will be available exclusively online.

According to court records, 49-year-old Roman and her 32-year-old boyfriend, Reggie Youngblood, obtained a marriage license on August 17, 2018.
The couple then quickly got hitched after a marriage certificate was issued the same day as the license.
The couple appeared together on “Marriage Boot Camp” back in season 5 of the show on a season that featured all reality TV star.
Roman was previously married to NBA star Kenny Anderson from 1994 until 2001. They share two daughters together.

Dwyane Wade To Release A Memoir Titled ‘3 Dimensional’ This October
Dwyane Wade will give a glimpse into his life and career with a forthcoming memoir titled 3 Dimensional. The book is set to release this coming Fall.
William Morrow books have announced the book has a release date of October 22 and is focused on Wade’s “essential principles.” AP reports the book will chronicle Wade’s rise on the South Side of Chicago to thousands checking him out in arenas across the NBA.
In a statement, the now-retired NBA superstar revealed he would share little-known stories and images from what he calls a “rollercoaster journey.” His career included multiple NBA All-Star games, numerous trips to the NBA Finals resulting in championships and playing with the likes of LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Bosh, and a host more. During his career, he played for the Miami HEAT, Chicago Bulls, and Cleveland Cavaliers.
D-Wade had a victory lap around the NBA in his final season, which included final jersey swaps, multiple campaigns to honor his legacy and a funny moment with John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
Recently, Wade surprised the graduating class of Maryjory Stoneman High School as their commencement speaker.
Continuing the basketball legacy of the Wade family, his son, Zaire, will attend Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles. Ironically, Wade’s high school teammate will be the son of LeBron James.
Grammy Award-Winning Jazz Drummer Lawrence Leathers Found Dead at 37; Girlfriend Charged
Lawrence Leathers, Grammy-winning jazz drummer, has passed away in New York City after an alleged assault over the weekend.
Leathers was found unconscious in the stairwell of his Bronx apartment building and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the New York Police Department. Leathers’ girlfriend 41-year-old Lisa Harris and 28-year-old Sterling Aguilar were arrested on Monday and charged with first- and second-degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide.
In a criminal complaint obtained by People, Aguilar allegedly held Leathers in a chokehold for almost 30 minutes as Harris sat on his chest and punched him several times in the face. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled his cause of death as homicidal asphyxia with compression of neck.
The Michigan native established a presence for himself on the New York City’s jazz scene after attending the famed Juilliard School. He also formed a trio with pianist Aaron Diehl and bassist Paul Sikivie, performing as the back-up band for singer Cécile McLorin Salvant.
Leathers earned two Grammy awards playing for Salvant, first on 2015’s ‘For One to Love’ and again in 2017 for ‘Dreams and Daggers’, which both won best jazz vocal album. He was scheduled to perform at Smalls Jazz Club, where he frequently played, on Monday.

The #CancelLindaFairstein Movement is working Former Prosecutor Linda Fairstein RESIGNS From several Board Positions!
Linda Fairstein is catching a barrage of (much deserved) roastings after Ava Duvernay's masterpiece series When They See Us premiered on Netflix. Now, Linda, the former head of the sex crimes unit at the Manhattan district attorney's office, who (mis)handled the Central Park 5 case, is backing away from the public eye.
A group of teens - who we learned had never met prior to their arrest - were wrongfully convicted for the rape of the Central Park Jogger (a woman named Trisha Meili) in 1989. Thanks to DNA evidence, Raymond Santana Jr., Kevin Richardson, Korey Wise, Antron Mccray, and Yusef Salaa, were exonerated in 2002 and settled with New York for $41M. Also, a man named Matias Reyes, a convicted serial rapist, confessed to the rape.
After getting dragged by her roots in the #CancelLindaFairstein movement for her part in convicting five now exonerated black & hispanic men, former prosecutor Linda has deleted her social media. She also has stepped down from her prominent role on the board of her prestigious alma mater, Vasser College. This comes on the heels of her prestigious Mystery Writers of America 2019 GRANDMASTER also being revoked, thanks to the new Netflix series stirring up new emotion.
"I am told that Ms. Fairstein felt that, given the recent widespread debate over her role in the Central Park case, she believed that her continuing as a board member would be harmful to Vassar," Vassar College President Elizabeth H. Bradley wrote in an online message Tuesday.
Linda also stepped down from the board of directors at the God’s Love We Deliver charity.
“She did step down, and we accepted her resignation today,” said Terrence Meck, chairman of the board at God’s Love. “This is an internal letter only, and we are not sharing its contents.”
Linda still claims, to this day, that the then-teen boys had something to do with the rape of the woman. She says whether one or more knocked the woman down or attacked her in some way, she stands by her statement that they admitted to having some involvement. Interestingly, she denies address the allegation that she coerced said "admissions" from the defendants, which would make the credibility of those admissions questionable at best.
"The confessions were not coerced," she wrote last July in a letter to the editor of the New York Law Journal. "The questioning was respectful, dignified, carried out according to the letter of the law and with sensitivity to the young age of the men."
By the way, she's now a crime author who writes a fictional series of books called the Alexandra Cooper Novels. That certainly confirms her ability to have a vivid imagination.
YouTube Is Finally Banning Supremacist Videos, Including Holocaust Deniers, Nazis And Sandy Hook Truthers
Youtube will be removing hundreds of thousands of videos that violate its rules.
The company says it will now ban supremacist content and remove all videos that deny well-documented atrocities like the Holocaust or the massacre at Sandy Hook elementary school.
In a blog post, YouTube announced that it will be prohibiting “videos alleging that a group is superior in order to justify discrimination, segregation or exclusion based on qualities like age, gender, race, caste, religion, sexual orientation or veteran status.”
YouTube’s ban on supremacist content comes a few months after Facebook said it was banning white nationalist content from its platforms.
The Facebook ban came two weeks after the suspect in the terror attack at two New Zealand mosques streamed part of the massacre live on the platform. A manifesto allegedly written by the suspect revealed an association with white nationalist views.
According to CNN, YouTube has long faced criticism for allowing misinformation, false conspiracy theories and extremist views to spread on its platform, and for recommending similar content to users. It’s been shown that people who visited the site to watch videos on innocuous subjects, or to see mainstream news, have been given recommendations pushing them toward extreme content.
