#RHoA: Why Is Kim Zolciak-Biermann Coming for Cynthia Bailey with These Comments?
Well, we weren't expecting beef to be brewing between this The Real Housewives of Atlanta pair. Kim Zolciak-Biermann told Cynthia Bailey to "just be a pretty face" in Sunday night's episode of RHOA, and we imagined that we heard a record scratch sound effect in that very moment because it was just THAT TENSE.
So was Kim really trying to be shady with her words, or are we just misreading them? Unfortunately, we don't have Mbele, the psychic medium in the episode, to interpret what appears to be a diss. But don't fret, because we have something even better!

#EMPIRE: Taraji P. Henson To Star In And Produce An Emmett Till Biopic
Oscar nominated actress Taraji P. Henson is teaming up with Oscar nominated director John Singleton for a biopic about Emmett Till.
According to VULTURE, Henson will portray Emmett’s mother, Mamie Till-Mobley with the story focusing on the racially motivated torture and murder of him in 1955. Till was targeted because he allegedly offended a White woman in her family grocery store in Mississippi. Mobley held Emmett’s funeral in Chicago where she insisted on a public viewing with an open casket.
The untiled project is being produced through Henson’s company, TPH Productions.

#HIPHOPNEWS: Migos Announces "Culture II" Release Date
Migos — Takeoff, Offset and Quavo — has had an epic rise in notoriety over the past few years. To kick off 2018, the Grammy Award-nominated Atlanta trio has announced the cover art and release date for their highly anticipated album Culture II, the follow-up to last year’s Culture.
The project, is expected to arrive on January 26. Previously released singles include “MotorSport” featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, and the Pharrell-produced “Stir Fry.”

Migos is nominated in the Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance categories at the upcoming 2018 Grammy Awards, which go down on January 28 at 4:30 p.m. PST.
Jordan Peele, Kendrick Lamar, SZA & Mary J. Blige Win NAACP Image Awards
Jordan Peele, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Mary J. Blige, and LL Cool J are all winners at the 49th NAACP Image Awards, which air Monday (January 15). The ceremony is to be held at Pasadena Civic Auditorium, and while the results of 47 categories were announced Sunday (January 14), the remaining nine winners will be honored in the telecast.
K. Dot was chosen for three awards: Outstanding Album for DAMN., Outstanding Duo for “Loyalty” featuring Rihanna, and Outstanding Contemporary Song with “HUMBLE.”
After a fruitful 2017 with the release of her debut studio album Ctrl, fellow TDE member SZA took home the award for Outstanding New Artist.
Fresh off multiple Golden Globe nominations and a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, Mary J. Blige won for Outstanding Female Artist. Meanwhile, LL Cool J is being recognized not for his music, but for his television work, winning for Outstanding Host in a Reality Competition award for his hosting of Lip Sync Battle on Spike.
Other winners of the evening include Jordan Peele for Get Out and Tiffany Haddish for Girls Trip. The award show honors African-American achievement in Arts and Entertainment, specifically Film, Television, Literature, and Music, and has been presented annually since 1967.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Welcome Daughter Via Surrogate
Last year the reality star confessed to Kourtney that she would like to give North, 4, and Saint, 2, another sibling, but that she’d need to decide soon about moving forward with her current surrogate.
The rapper and wife Kim Kardashian welcomed a daughter via surrogate on Monday, West’s rep confirmed to Page Six.
The baby’s name has not yet been released.Their daughter joins older sister North, 4, and big brother Saint, 2. The newborn weighed in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces.

Seal Denies Allegations of Sexual Battery Amid Reported Criminal Investigation
Last week, Seal encouraged women to share their own stories of sexual misconduct. And now, one woman has reportedly come forward with her own allegations against the singer — allegations he “vehemently denies.”
TMZ reported Tuesday that the 54-year-old “Kiss from a Rose” singer is currently under criminal investigation for sexual battery, stemming from an alleged incident at his home in the fall of 2016 with actress Tracey Birdsall.
According to Birdsall, 54, Seal had allegedly forced himself on her in his kitchen — attempting to kiss her and later groping her breasts in advances she quickly pushed off and demanded he stop.
Though they were neighbors and developed a close friendship, Birdsall told TMZ there was never anything romantic between them and that his advances came out of nowhere. She claimed he belittled her outfit, insinuating the tank top and shorts she was wearing implied she was asking for it. After Seal allegedly groped her again, she said she left and has not had contact with him since.
Seal has refuted Birdsall’s claims, with reps for the star saying in a statement he “vehemently denies the recent allegations made against him by a former neighbor for alleged misconduct more than a year ago.”
“He intends to vigorously defend himself against these false allegations,” the statement continued.
Birdsall has reported her claims to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday, TMZ reported. The alleged incident is reportedly under investigation.
In the wake of Oprah Winfrey’s Golden Globes speech, Seal found himself in hot water when he posted a meme of Winfrey with disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein that read “When you have been part of the problem for decades, but suddenly they all think you are the solution.”
Seal added in the caption, “Oh I forgot, that’s right….. you’d heard the [rumors] but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young [starry]-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad. #SanctimoniousHollywood.”
While the post appeared to be an attack on Winfrey — causing many, including Chrissy Teigen, to knock him — Seal posted an impassioned video to Facebook days later explaining that wasn’t his intention.
“What I reposted was commentary on the hypocritical and double standard nature and behavior of Hollywood,” he said. “To those of us who support the #MeToo movement, just know this: not one of the women who have been sexually abused, not one of the women who have come forward, has received any real justice whatsoever. Losing your job because you either a) raped, 2) sexually abused, or even sexually harassed a woman is not real punishment. You steal from the post office, you go to jail. And #RealTalk, we all know what would happen to any one of those power abusers if they looked like me.”
It appears his words resonated with Birdsall, who told TMZ she was inspired to contact authorities after watching his video.
Transwoman Tracy Lynn Garner convicted in buttocks-injection killing dies in jail
Tracy Lynn Garner, the transgender woman who was convicted and sentenced to life in 2014 after administering fatal butt injections to a Georgia woman, has passed away.
According to reports, A Mississippi inmate convicted in 2014 in the death of a Georgia woman through illicit silicone buttocks injections has died. The Mississippi Department of Corrections said in a statement Monday that an autopsy will be done on 58-year-old Tracy Lynn Garner, who died Sunday. She had served less than 3.5 years of a life sentence.
Garner was convicted by a jury of depraved heart murder in the death of Karima Gordon, an Atlanta area resident who died eight days after receiving the injectionsin Jackson in 2012. Depraved heart murder is a killing caused by reckless disregard for human life.
Prosecutors say Gordon was referred to Garner by Natasha Stewart, an adult entertainer. Stewart was convicted of manslaughter in Garner’s death and received a seven-year sentence.
Garner was taken from Central Mississippi Correctional Facility to a hospital in Jackson, where she was pronounced dead Sunday morning.

Tiffany Haddish Is Officially A Groupon Spokesperson, Will Star In Brand’s Super Bowl Ad
Tiffany Haddish‘s love for Groupon has landed her a gig as the company’s new spokesperson!
The comedian and actress will star in a series of ads including the brand’s first Super Bowl ad in seven years.
Via Deadline: “Nobody knows Groupon like I know Groupon,” Haddish said. “I’ve been speaking out for them for years. In fact, I should have already been their spokesperson. I’ve invested lots of money into buying Groupon deals, and it’s about time I got an even bigger return on my investment than just saving money at my favorite local businesses.”
The company said Haddish ranks in the top 1% of most frequent Groupon purchasers and has been a strong advocate with her fellow celebrities and co-stars. On Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently, she talked about taking a Hollywood A-list couple on a Groupon-bought swamp tour experience while filming Girls Trip in Louisiana.
