#RHoA: Kim Zolciak-Biermann Hires High-Powered Lawyer After NeNe Leakes Calls Her 'Racist'
Kim Zolciak-Biermann is escalating the feud between her and Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star NeNe Leakes, reportedly hiring a lawyer after Leakes called her "racist" and implied she was a KKK member during a social media spat.
Zolciak-Biermann has retained the services of high-powered law firm Lavely & Singer, TMZ and Us Weekly reported Wednesday, and the Atlanta Housewife confirmed her representation on Larry King Now Tuesday.
“I’ve hired legal counsel at this point. It’s just that bad,” she said on the show.
It's unclear what legal action she is planning, but TMZ reports that a letter has been sent to Leakes demanding a public apology.
All the drama stems from a Snapchat Zolciak-Biermann's daughter Brielle sent of cockroaches in the bathroom of what she alleges was Leakes' house.
Leakes posted a screengrab of the video last week on her Instagram with the caption, "We don't have roaches! If you found 1, u brought it with u or it fell outta yo funky p***y! Please know I will get You all the way together when you start f**king wit me and mine!"
The reality diva later went on to add "#racisttrash" and "#KKK" to her posts about Brielle and her mother.
Clapping back, Zolciak-Biermann took to Instagram herself, calling it "sad and offensive that someone can stoop so low as to call someone a racist just because they are mad."
If Leakes is forced to apologize, it would be her second prominent mea culpa in the last week.
#Empire: Season 4 Episode 3 Review: Evil Manners
Just how many family members in high places does Diana Dubois have?
That thought crossed my mind several times during Empire Season 4 Episode 3 as it emerged that she had a cousin in the world of banking and he took great pride in denying Empire a lifeline.
That lifeline was supposed to help the firm with some serious budgetary issues on the back of Cookie's big speech about making 20 albums for Empire's 20th anniversary. It was evident the bank was going to decline the request.
The meeting happened a little too early in the episode for anything good to come of it. I can't be the only one who wanted Cookie to open a can of whoop ass on the banker for the way he spoke to her and Andre.
Simply put, it was a little too obvious he was going to wind up being related to Diana. If you watch Empire online, you will already know that she's been trying her best to get revenge on the Lyon family after what happened to Angelo on Empire Season 3.
It's crazy just how different Angelo is nowadays. He's a shell of his former self, and that's what happens when you own up to doing some sketchy things on live TV while taking the political route.
"Evil Manners" was a decent episode of this Fox drama series. The producers have finally found a way to find the perfect mix of drama and comedy, and it's making Empire Season 4 the most consistent season yet.
Finally, actions on the show yield consequences and it's just a shame the show has taken so long to get to this point.
Empire continues Wednesday nights on Fox.

#WOMP Tamar & Vince Put Their Mansion Up For Sale
Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert have put their Mediterranean mansion on the market for $15 million.
The move comes a couple of weeks after Vince lost his legal battle with Sony and was ordered to pay the label $3.7 million.
Variety reports several notices of default were filed and subsequently canceled on the property prior to it being listed.
Quick on the heels of famously sassy, phrase-turning R&B singer and reality TV star Tamar Braxton’s announcement her recently released album, “Bluebird of Happiness,” will be her last — at least for a while — and news that her husband, music executive husband Vincent Herbert, founder of Streamline Records, was legally ordered to pay Sony more than $3.7 million to settle a lawsuit over a 2013 advance, the couple hoisted their grandly proportioned and glamorously appointed Mediterranean mansion in Calabasas, Calif., up for sale at $15 million.
The Herbert-Braxtons, married in late 2007 after about five years together, purchased the 13,716-square-foot mansion inside the double-gated Estates at The Oaks enclave in April 2013 for $10.5 million and public records show since then there have been several notices of default filed and subsequently cancelled against the two-acre spread that provides a total of seven bedrooms and nine full and two half bathrooms between the main house and poolside guesthouse.
Now we see why they’re selling! Time to downsize!
#HUH? 2-year-old denied kidney transplant because father violated probation
ATLANTA -- A.J. Burgess was born a month too soon without a working kidney, WGCL-TV reports, and his father Anthony Dickerson is a 110 percent match for an organ donation. But surgeons at Emory Hospital in Atlanta won't perform the operation because Dickerson served time in prison for violating probation.
Burgess, who only weighs 25 pounds at age 2, spent 10 months in a neonatal intensive care unit. Dickerson was tested and proved to be the perfect match to give his son a kidney, WGCL-TV writes.
"He made it his business to say, 'Once I get out, I'm gonna promise to my son that he can get a kidney," A.J.'s mother Carmella said.
As soon as Dickerson was released from prison, he was about to go through the steps to donate his kidney on Oct. 3. However, he returned to jail for violating his parole again for possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, according to WGCL-TV.
It was at that point everything changed for the family and Carmella said that the hospital needed three to four months before the child's father could donate his kidney.
"The lady said we need your parole information and your probation info. He said 'why?' We need you to be on good behavior for three to four months before you can give your son the kidney. And January 2018 we will think about re-evaluating you basically," Carmella said.
Emory Healthcare issued a statement to WGCL-TV saying in part that organ transplants are designed to ensure success for organ recipients and that it cannot share specific information about this case.
"Emory Healthcare is committed to the highest quality of care for its patients. Guidelines for organ transplantation are designed to maximize the chance of success for organ recipients and minimize risk for living donors", the statement read. "Because of privacy regulations and respect for patient confidentiality, we cannot share specific information about patients."
Meanwhile, Burgess' mother says waiting until 2018 might be too late for her toddler as his health continues to worsen. She says A.J.'s body is failing and he needs bladder surgery.
She is hoping a GoFundMe page will bring awareness to the family's predicament and provide funds for financial stability.
Harvey Weinstein May Lose $800 Million & Spend Life In Jail After Assault Claims
Harvey Weinstein may end up losing all his money and going to prison for life after his sexual assault accusations.
Harvey Weinstein, 65, could be in deep trouble regarding the sexual assault claims from the many women who have come forward. “”In order to go to prison, Harvey would have to be convicted of a felony, like rape,” Darren Kavinoky, California Criminal Defense Attorney of 1.800.No.Cuffs shared. “In order for him to go to prison, he would have to get sentenced for more than a year. What is dangerous about Harvey’s behavior, and crimes of a sexual nature, is that he could be subject to consecutive sentencing. When you are talking about sex offenses, you get mandatory consecutive sentencing where the punishments stack one on top of another. So you get these really insanely long sentences in sex based cases that you don’t see in other areas of law.”
“If multiple women come forward and he is accused then convicted of many sex crimes, molestation, harassment and ultimately rape, he could easily be behind state prison bars for 10, 20, 30 years or even longer depending on how many women come forward and what he is ultimately convicted of,” Darren continued. “Furthermore, all of his alleged victims could, after criminal convictions, victims could then sue Harvey civilly for damages. With a net worth of an estimated $800 Million Dollars, depending on the number of victims, Harvey could easily lose his fortune in court, to his victims. He could be wiped out, and spend the rest of his life behind bars, broke, penniless and disgraced.”
In addition to the general sexual assault accusations, Harvey made headlines this week after it was reported that his company, The Weinstein Company, allowed him to sexually harass women as long as he paid all the money owed if he got sued. The controversial reports surrounding the film producer have caused a lot of backlash on social media with stars speaking out against him and there have been reports that he has recently checked into rehab for his issues.

#SPORTSNEWS: The NY Yankees STUNS Houston in Game 3 of ALCS
“Life can change really quickly,” Joe Girardi said, and for the Yankees this October, the transformation occurs as soon as they return to the Bronx.
Specifically, Girardi was talking about his own reception, the cheers that followed his name during Monday night’s pregame introductions. A week ago, when the Yankees came home, down 0-2 to the Indians in the Division Series, Girardi was loudly booed, with the fans blaming his controversial non-challenge for a Game 2 meltdown.
Playing before another raucous Stadium crowd — the official count was 49,373 — the Yankees looked like a different team at home, replacing the uptight bunch that couldn’t hit, run or field during the two losses at Minute Maid Park.
It’s not that the Yankees can’t win on the road; they beat the Indians in Game 5 at Progressive Field. There’s just a looser, more fun vibe around them in the Bronx, and Monday night’s party atmosphere surged from the Yankees’ dugout all the way to the back row of the upper decks.
“There’s nothing like here in New York,” Todd Frazier said. “Playing at home, it’s kind of like an advantage as it is. You saw Bernie Williams coming in and throwing the first pitch. You see the memories. It’s time to step up.”
As Frazier rounded first base, he hammed it up with the screaming fans, pointing to his family in the outfield stands and repeatedly slapping his right hand on his left wrist, which he later explained means “What time is it? It’s my time.”
The same rightfield fence also turned out to be a factor in the fourth, when Aaron Judge crashed hard into the padding to rob Yuli Gurriel of extra bases.
When Judge stepped to the plate in the bottom half, he hit a three-run homer over the leftfield wall. He was a more dangerous hitter at home in the regular season, so it figured that if he was ever going to snap out of his playoff funk, it would happen in the Bronx. Judge was in a 2-for-28 skid with 20 strikeouts before that blast.
As for CC Sabathia, his performance had to conjure up some of the same feeling from the championship year in October 2009, his first in pinstripes (Sabathia, Brett Gardner and David Robertson are the only holdovers from that team). When he wrapped up his scoreless six innings, it didn’t feel like a coincidence that this all went down in the Bronx.
“Just the energy, the fans,” Sabathia said. “They bring it every night in the playoffs, and you can feed off that.”
The Yankees gladly did. Again.
