Rihanna Rocks Tom Ford To Honor The Designer With amfAR Award
Milk Studios in Hollywood, Rihanna brought her girls, her legs and everything else to the yard for one of her sexiest red carpet looks yet. And it didn't mater that it was for charity:
For the 2014 amfAR LA Inspiration Gala, Rih rocked a white cut-out, super high split gown featuring an embellished bra (that covered up just enough) from the Tom Ford Spring 2015 collection. And she topped off her look with Tom Ford metallic ankle wrap platform sandals...to match her nipple jewels of course.
She did her designer friend right by rocking the look like only she can. Rihanna tweeted before the event: Tonight I’m presenting the #amfARInspiration Award to my friend @Tom_Ford. His commitment to @amfAR is truly inspirational.
Nice.
Leave it to Rih to give the look even more of a punch with the sexy thigh high stockings.
Chick sat next to Justin Timberlake and didn't leave empty handed. The event was a fundraiser as well, and she clearly took it seriously. VOGUE UK dished on her expensive auction haul saying:
She paid $35,000 for a pair of Harry Winston diamond link earrings featuring 72 diamonds set in platinum, and $100,000 on the photograph "Elizabeth Taylor at the Eden Roc" by Willy Rizzo, signed and numbered by the artist.
Work.
The MAC spokeswoman had some fun with Tom, and presented him with his award.
During her speech, Rihanna gushed about her long time designer friend and his talent with both clothing design and giving back:
"Everyone looks good in Tom Ford. Throughout his career, Tom has been committed to giving back to the community. He has been, and continues to be, a dedicated supporter of the fight against AIDS. He's been a generous friend to amfAR for many years, and is a loyal supporter of the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Over the past 20 years, Tom Ford has been honored with every major fashion award there is. Tonight, we honor him both for his incredible talent and for what he stands for. We honor him for inspiring us with his creative genius, his leadership, his integrity, and his generosity. We honor him for doing good while making us look good."
Sweet!
THANK GOODNESS PENNSYLVANIA SUSPECTED COP KILLER ERIC FREIN CAPTURED
Pennsylvania State Police confirm they have captured Eric Frein, the man accused of killing a trooper last month.
"I can confirm that we have taken Eric Frein into custody. Further information will be released at a later time," Tfc. Connie Devens, Pennsylvania State Police Community Services Officer, said in a statement.
Sources tell Action News that 31-year-old Frein surrendered to federal marshals who were on routine patrol inside an abandoned airport hangar at the old Birchwood Pocono Airpark.
Frein told investigators he was armed and then gave up his weapon, sources tell Action News.
A law enforcement source says Frein is now wearing the handcuffs of Pennsylvania State Trooper Bryon Dickson who he is accused of killing.
Frein is charged with opening fire outside the Blooming Grove barracks on Sept. 12, killing Trooper Dickson and seriously wounding Trooper Alex Douglass.
At his funeral, Dickson was called a devoted husband and father and "impeccable" ex-Marine who took his work seriously but also enjoyed making wooden toys for his young sons and finding humor in everyday situations. Trooper Douglass was shot in the pelvis and critically injured in the ambush, which took place during a late-night shift change.
Douglass remained hospitalized until Oct. 16, when he was discharged to a rehabilitation facility.
Police said they linked him to the ambush after a man walking his dog discovered his partly submerged SUV three days later in a swamp a few miles from the shooting scene. Inside, investigators found shell casings matching those found at barracks as well as Frein's driver's license, camouflage face paint, two empty rifle cases and military gear.
Saying Frein was armed and extremely dangerous, officials had closed schools and urged residents to be alert and cautious. Using dogs, thermal imaging technology and other tools, law enforcement officials combed miles of forest as they hunted for Frein, whom they called an experienced survivalist at home in the woods.
They pursued countless tips and closed in on an area around Frein's parents' home in Canadensis after he used his cellphone to try contacting them, and the signal was traced to a location about 3 miles away. At times police ordered nearby residents to stay inside or prevented them from returning home.
A law enforcement officer arrives for a funeral service for Pennsylvania State Trooper Cpl. Bryon Dickson,
Trackers found items they believe Frein hid or abandoned in the woods - including soiled diapers, empty packs of Serbian cigarettes, an AK-47-style assault rifle and ammunition and two pipe bombs that were functional and capable of causing significant damage. They also discovered a journal, allegedly kept by Frein and found in a bag of trash at a hastily abandoned campsite, that offered a chilling account of the ambush and his subsequent escape into the woods. The journal's author described Dickson as falling "still and quiet" after being shot twice.
Police spotted a man they believed to be Frein at several points during the manhunt, but it was always from a distance, with the rugged terrain allowing him to keep them at bay. Police said he appeared to be treating the manhunt as a game.
Frein allegedly held anti-law enforcement views for many years and expressed them both online and to people who knew him. But the source of his alleged vendetta remains unclear. His criminal record appears limited to a decade-old misdemeanor case involving items stolen from a World War II re-enactors event in upstate New York, for which he spent 109 days in jail.
Police found a U.S. Army manual called "Sniper Training and Employment" in the suspect's bedroom at his parents' house, and his father, a retired Army major, told authorities that his son is an excellent marksman who "doesn't miss," according to a police affidavit. Authorities believe he had been planning a confrontation with police for years, citing information they found on a computer used by Frein.
Frein belonged to a military re-enactor's group, playing the part of a Serbian solder. He had a small role in a 2007 movie about a concentration camp survivor and helped with props and historical references on a documentary about World War I.
The FBI named him to its 10 most wanted list.
Frein is charged with first-degree murder and various other offenses, including two counts of possession of weapons of mass destruction filed after police discovered the pipe bombs.
Thomas Menino, Boston's Longest-Serving Mayor, Dies at 71
Thomas Menino, whose folksy manner and verbal gaffes belied his shrewd political tactics to govern as Boston's longest-serving mayor and one of its most beloved, died Thursday. He was 71.
Spokeswoman Dot Joyce said in a statement that Menino died in the company of his family and friends. He was diagnosed with advanced cancer in February 2014, shortly after leaving office, and announced Oct. 23 he was suspending treatment and a book tour so he could spend more time with family and friends.
Menino was first elected in 1993 and built a formidable political machine that ended decades of Irish domination of city politics, at least temporarily. He won re-election four times. He was the city's first Italian-American mayor and served in the office for more than 20 years before a series of health problems forced him, reluctantly, to eschew a bid for a sixth term.
"I can run, I can win and I can lead, but not in the neighborhoods all the time as I like," Menino, a Democrat, told an overflow crowd at Boston's historic Faneuil Hall on March 28, 2013.
Less than three weeks after that announcement, two bombs exploded at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 260. Menino, who had undergone surgery on a broken leg just two days earlier, checked himself out of a hospital to help lead his shaken city through the crisis.
At an interfaith service three days after the bombings, Menino, in a symbolic act of personal defiance, painfully pulled himself to his feet from his wheelchair to declare that no act of violence could break Boston's spirit.
He was in an SUV in nearby Watertown, Massachusetts, at the end of a daylong manhunt when Police Commissioner Edward Davis informed him that the surviving bombing suspect had been captured. Menino's Tweet: "We got him."
President Barack Obama hailed Menino as "bold, big-hearted, and Boston strong." Reaction poured in from leaders around the country, including Secretary of State John Kerry, a longtime U.S. senator from Massachusetts, who said: "Tom Menino was Boston."
Gov. Deval Patrick ordered flags lowered to half-staff at the Statehouse and all other state buildings in Boston until further notice.
Menino was anything but a smooth public speaker and was prone to verbal gaffes. He was widely quoted describing Boston's notorious parking shortage as "an Alcatraz" around his neck, rather than an albatross.
He often mangled or mixed up the names of Boston sports heroes – once famously confusing former New England Patriots kicker and Super Bowl hero Adam Vinatieri with ex-Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek. But while such mistakes might sink other politicians in a sports-crazed city, they only seemed to reinforce his affable personality and ability to connect with the residents he served.
"I'm Tom Menino. I'm not a fancy talker, but I get things done," he said in his first TV ad.
In an interview with The Associated Press in March, Menino said he "loved every minute" of being mayor, even during the city's darkest days. He credited his staff and others, downplaying his own role.
"I just did my job – nothing special," he said.
Thomas Michael Menino was born on Dec. 27, 1942, in the city's Hyde Park neighborhood. A former insurance salesman, he caught the political bug while working as a legislative aide to state Sen. Joseph Timilty. He first earned elective office as a district city councilor in 1984.
Menino became the council's president in 1993 and was automatically elevated to mayor when then-Mayor Raymond Flynn was named U.S. ambassador to the Vatican. While that prompted some to initially chide Menino as an "accidental mayor," he quickly proved his own political mettle, winning a four-year term later that year.
He never sought nor showed interest in running for higher office. Mayor, it seemed, was the only political job to which he aspired.
His tireless public schedule amazed and exhausted many of his closest aides. In his new memoir, Mayor For A New America, he made clear that was his greatest legacy.
"I paid attention to the fundamentals of urban life – clean streets, public safety, good schools, neighborhood commerce," Menino wrote in the memoir, released in October 2014 by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. "Call my City Hall and you never got an answering machine. People trusted government because it heard them. Because they could talk to it. Because it kept its word."
Menino's health was often a concern, and he was admitted to the hospital several times while in office.
In 2003, he underwent surgery to remove a rare sarcoma on his back. The following year, his doctors confirmed he has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, a type of inflammatory bowel disease.
He spent six weeks in the hospital in 2012 for a series of ailments, including a respiratory infection. While he was in the hospital, he suffered a compression fracture in his spine and was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.
In May 2013, he was back in the hospital for surgery for an enlarged prostate.
Menino left City Hall on his final day in office Jan. 6 to thunderous applause from city workers. Later, he Tweeted: "Thank you Boston. It has been the honor and thrill of a lifetime to be your Mayor. Be as good to each other as you have been to me."
In March 2014, Menino revealed in an interview with The Boston Globe he was battling an advanced form of cancer that had spread to his liver and lymph nodes. Doctors said they were unable to pinpoint where the cancer originated.
In a statement announcing he was stopping treatment to devote himself to his loved ones, Menino said he was "hopeful and optimistic that one day the talented researchers, doctors and medical professionals in this city will find a cure for this awful disease."
Menino leaves behind his wife Angela, his children Susan and Thomas Jr., a Boston police officer, and six grandchildren
Birdman Shares His View on The Situation on Tyga Vs. Drake and Nicki Minaj
During a private listening session at Quad Studio’s in NYC, Birdman chatted it up with XXL for an interview mostly about Rich Gang, Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan. Eventually the interview led to them asking about his thoughts on what’s going on with Tyga, and how he feels about YMCMB!
XXL asked Birdman: What about Tyga? What’s going on with him?
I don’t know man. But I got respect for Tyga. I always had respect for Tyga. We built something together. Another person we took from nothing to something. It will work itself out. It will work itself out. I’m just not with the Internet shit, saying nothing negative. ‘Cause I can’t say nothing negative about Tyga ’cause I got respect for Tyga. I don’t like him saying nothing negative about Drake and Nicki. To me, that shit ain’t cool to me. ‘Cause they never did no wrong to him. You understand me? But, he still the little homie and I do anything in the world for him. Nicki and Drake, that’s the family. Whatever side you choose, it is what it is. But I ride with the team. I could say nothing bad about little Tyga. He’s always been a man to me. A young man to me. A young man to the team. This shit coming out of left field to me. I don’t understand it, but it is what it is.
His response was neutral and I liked it, but we all know Tyga is not going anywhere.. He’s locked into that Cash Money deal for LIFE! He’ll get over it…
TWINS? Beyonce’s 4-Year-Old Little Sister Makes Her First TV Appearance (Pics)
After DNA test results that revealed that Beyoncé’s father is a 99.9% match as father of a 4-year-old girl, Koi, Inside Edition has received the first look at Matthew Knowles’ love child with lingerie model TaQoya Branscomb.
According to Radar Online: Knowles’ baby mama drama has taken a dramatic turn, as Branscomb told the show that she is in a courtroom battle with him to get him to pay child support. But despite the unfortunate circumstance, she hopes that her daughter can develop a relationship with her alleged half-sister, Beyoncé.
“They are half sisters and maybe one day down the line that can be made possible.”
Just like her older sister, Koi is growing up in Houston and also has a passion for singing and dancing, but Branscomb tells Inside Edition that Knowles still denies that the little girl is his.
“He’d had a vasectomy. Or at least that was what I was told,” but she adds that Koi must be his because, “You can’t deny it once DNA tests come out 99.9% that you are the father.”

Teyana Taylor Covers “Rolling Out” Magazine; Talks New Album, Love & More
In a few days her hotly anticipated album, VII, hits stores, and ahead of its release, Teyana Taylor poses for Rolling Out.
The First Lady of G.O.O.D. Music goes topless with a black and white flower printed coat draped over her shoulders, and is also snapped in lace bunny ears – by photographer DeWayne Rogers.
In her interview, Teyana dishes on her album, saying that “seven Is the number of completion,” and also goes into detail on the significance of the number seven:
Seven has different meanings, but for me, I feel like I’ve been in the business for seven years and [there have] been a lot of bumpy roads and detours and all types of stuff going on within those seven years. But now in the seventh year, everything is finally completed and is coming together. It’s done and I can give you a full body of work. So that number means a lot to me and this year is very important to me.
She also talked how her mentors Kanye West and Pharrell Williams assisted her in remaining focused:
Pharrell and Kanye are perfectionists and that’s all they surround themselves with and that’s all they know. When you’re around that, it automatically rubs off on you. So everything I do has to be perfect, it can’t be half-a–ed. You either gotta do it or not do it at all. So, definitely perfection is the most important thing.
On her relationship with New York Knicks baller Iman Shumpert, she says she’s happy, and that he helps keep her mind off all the negativity:
I’m happy. I’m not on the phone too much and I’m not really on social media now. When you have a peace of mind, which is your companion, you listen to your man so when he’s telling you to calm down, then eventually you let it go. But when you’re in your own space and you feel independent with your feelings, then it’s just like, ‘OK, I’m going to do what I want to do.’ But when you have your peace of mind, it takes your mind off all the negativity and all the people that [are] trying to bother you.
As for her legacy: “I personally don’t know what my legacy will be because I feel like [there] is so much more left to me,” she admits. “I feel that if I try to predict the future, I will be limiting myself. She continues saying she “living in the now and building my brand and empire, so 20 years from now, I can say exactly what I am.”
‘VII’ drops Tuesday, November 4th!
Keyshia Cole’s Grinding For Birdman Prompts Twitter Slander
It’s no urban legend. Keyshia Cole really videotaped herself grinding on a piano all in the name of teasing her alleged boo-thang, Birdman.
The most staggering of things, as plenty of her fans and critics alike point out, is the singer’s apparent drunkenness (or something). And even with Cole’s clap-back to all the haters (see below), naysayers continue to pour in with the slander.
The struggle seems real
LOL! Here’s the responses

Bill Cosby Cancels “Queen Latifah Show” Appearance After Rape Allegations Resurface
Things are not looking good for Bill Cosby as he is cancelling his appearance on the Queen Latifah Show after rape allegations resurface. Cosby, prepping a standup comedy tour, was originally scheduled to appear on the daytime talk show, two weeks after comedian Hannibal Burress called the 77-year-old comedian “a rapist” during an Oct. 16 Philadelphia show.
According to The Hollywood Reporter:
“Mr. Cosby’s scheduled appearance on The Queen Latifah Show was postponed at his request and was in no way related to any of our recent or upcoming scheduled guests,” a spokesperson for The Queen Latifah Show tells The Hollywood Reporter.
Cosby was accused of sexually assaulting 13 women in the past, but those allegations are not new. He has been sued (Cosby settled a lawsuit in 2006) but was never convicted. TMZ first reported the news.
Cosby is also readying a new NBC comedy — a “classic, big, extended family sitcom” — from Sony Pictures Television, that will be co-produced by Mike O’Malley and Mike Sikowitz.
