Candice Glover Wins 'American Idol' Season 12
Congrats to Candice Glover! The South Carolina native, on her third "American Idol" after auditioning in seasons 9 and 11, became the first female winner of the show since season 6's Jordin Sparks, scoring the largest number of votes to defeat runner-up Kree Harrison.
The soulful fab chick has just been crowned the newest American Idol!
The 23-year-old hails from St. Helena Island, South Carolina. And she's about to take Hollywood by storm. Pushing through the tears she sang what will be her new single, "I Am Beautiful," as the finale wrapped.
As the champ, Candice gets a $1 million dollar recording contract and much more. By the way, Candice tried out three times for "Idol". This time was the charm.
