Miami Heat baller Dwyane Wade covers JET Magazine June 2013 issue.
Dwyane, talks about being a proud father, and how he raises his two sons and a nephew, who he also has legal guardianship of. He also talks about his ex wife and their rocky relationship.

On what he’s like as a father:
“I’m the kind of parent who asks my kids questions like what would be your ideal thing to do in the summer? This year it’s Disney World. Even though I make the final decision, I want them to feel involved. Not only in vacations but other things as well.”
On custody battle:
“I didn’t set out to get full custody but I wasn’t able to see my kids the way I wanted and I’m not a parent who’s going to run away from his responsibilities. I was probably a terrible husband, but I pride myself on being a good dad.”
On his relationship with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches:
“It’s been six years and hopefully one day she and I can get to the point where it’s a lot easier than it is now to co-parent.”

Kandi Burrus & Friends Drop It Like Its Hot For Her Birthday + Porsha Stewart, Rasheeda Attend
37 years young never looked so good on Kandi Burruss. Last wekend, the Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star celebrated her birthday.
Birthday festivities included a trip to Vegas, some zip linning with a few of her BFF’s, an Atlanta birthday dinner and some two-steppin’. Kandi’s fiance (Todd) and daughter (Riley) helped her celebrate, along with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s very pregnant Rasheeda, former Football Wives reality star Chanita Foster, former reality star Toya Wright, Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Stewart and some folks from Kandi’s TAGS boutique and some other fancy folk.
The girls ended a night with a bang, dancing to ‘Doin the Butt’, along with a few other ratchet songs. Peep Porsha and Toya get ‘low’ for all to see.

DJ Khaled, Swizz & More Shoot "No New Friends" Video
DJ Khaled got all his homies together to shoot the video for "No New Friends" off his upcoming Suffering From Success album. The DJ--who rarely ever does anything more than scream out "We The Best" on every track--brought in Drake (who appears on the song), Birdman, Ace Hood & Swizz Beatz to shoot the vid.
Everyone else was just there to make a cameo and to drink up:
Rick Ross is on the track and showed up to shoot the vid of course. Looks like Ricky's getting a beard shapeup....
By the way, Drake announced that the 4th annual hip hop summer festival OVO FEST will for the first time span two days and take place August 4th and 5th at Toronto's Molson Canadian Amphitheatre.
The T.Dot native sent out a press release about his festival:
Tickets to OVO FEST go on sale May 24th at 10:00AM EDT and will be available as a two day festival pass, with a limited number of lawn seats available as single day passes. Night one of OVO FEST will feature a headlining performance by rising star Frank Ocean with special guests including James Blake. Night two will be headlined by Drake and feature other artists to be announced. OVO FEST, which last year sold out in seven minutes, will once again see Drake bring hip hop's most buzzed about artists to his hometown in advance of his upcoming album NOTHING WAS THE SAME.

Kobe Bryant speaks out about comparsion to Michael Jordan “Apples2Oranges”
There has always been a debate about who is better between MJ and the Black Mamba. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, who would be the best judge of that? No other then Phil Jackson because he had the opportunity of coaching both players. In his book entitled Eleven Rings: The Soul of Success Phil Jackson compares Jordan and Bryant.
“One of the biggest differences between the two stars from my perspective was Michael’s superior skills as a leader,” Jackson writes. “Though at times he could be hard on his teammates, Michael was masterful at controlling the emotional climate of the team with the power of his presence. Kobe had a long way to go before he could make that claim. He talked a good game, but he’d yet to experience the cold truth of leadership in his bones, as Michael had in his bones.” “No question, Michael was a tougher, more intimidating defender,” Jackson writes. “He could break through virtually any screen and shut down almost any player with his intense, laser-focused style of defense.”
On offense, Jackson said: “Jordan was also more naturally inclined to let the game come to him and not overplay his hand, whereas Kobe tends to force the action, especially when the game isn’t going his way. When his shot is off, Kobe will pound away relentlessly until his luck turns. Michael, on the other hand, would shift his attention to defense or passing or setting screens to help the team win the game.”
Phil Jackson also touched on the difference in personalities.
“Michael was more charismatic and gregarious than Kobe,” Jackson writes. “He loved hanging out with his teammates and security guards, playing cards, smoking cigars, and joking around.
“Kobe is different. He was reserved as a teenager, in part because he was younger than the other players and hadn’t developed strong social skills in college. When Kobe first joined the Lakers, he avoided fraternizing with his teammates. But his inclination to keep to himself shifted as he grew older. Increasingly, Kobe put more energy into getting to know the other players, especially when the team was on the road.”

John Legend's fiance, model Chrissy Teigen, catches heat for calling teen mom Farrah Abraham a whore.
Turns out porn star James Deen wasn't the only one outraged to see Farrah Abraham buying a pregnancy test last weekend.
Chrissy Teigen took to her Twitter account on Tuesday to blast the 21-year-old Teen Mom's recent publicity stunt.
'Farrah Abraham now thinks she is pregnant from her sex tape. in other news you're a whore and everyone hates you whoops not other news sorry,' the 27-year-old model wrote to her 231,000 followers.
On May 2, the fame-hungry starlet received $1 million from Vivid Entertainment for releasing Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom.
The mother-of-one simply followed the sex-tape footseps of reality stars Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian before her.
However several of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model's fans quickly turned on her for what they considered 'slut-shaming' Abraham.
'Are we really gonna pretend this girl just accidentally leaked a sex tape? seriously?? what the f*** is wrong with you?' Chrissy fumed.
'How is calling out a willing (lied-as-leaked) sex tape participant who hired paps to photo her buying preg tests this AM slut shaming?'

Meanwhile Farrah made no mention of Chrissy Teigen's criticism on her own Twitter account Tuesday.
Brittney Griner forced to hide her sexual orientation at Baylor
All four years at Baylor University Brittney Grinner was forbidden to be open about her sexuality to the public. Her head coach Kim Mulkey wanted her players to keep personal information private because she thought it would affect recruiting.
It was a recruiting thing,” said Griner, the 2013 number 1 WNBA draft pick, now a member of the Phoenix Mercury. “The coaches thought that if it seemed like they condoned it, people wouldn’t let their kids come play for Baylor.”
Baylor declined to comment directly on Griner’s remarks to ESPN The Magazine, instead noting Mulkey’s comments earlier this month:
“Brittney Griner represented Baylor University proudly on and off the basketball court, and she leaves behind an incredible legacy. I cannot comment on personal matters surrounding any of our student-athletes, but I can tell you Brittney will always be a celebrated member of the Baylor family.”
“It was more of a unwritten law (not to discuss it). … it was just kind of, like, one of those things, you know. Just don’t do it,” Griner said of speaking publicly about her sexuality. “They kind of tried to make it, like, ‘Why put your business out on the street like that?’ “Griner also said she revealed her sexual orientation to Mulkey, and that it didn’t matter. “I told Coach when she was recruiting me. I was like, ‘I’m gay. I hope that’s not a problem,’ and she told me that it wasn’t,” Griner said. “I mean, my teammates knew, obviously. They all knew. Everybody knew about it.” I wonder how many people did not know Grinner was gay? I did not find it to be a big shocker when she “came out of the closet” sometime last month. I’m not even sure if she was ever in the closet.

His name Leon “Starino” Anderson, and his celebrity friends include with Rihanna, Cara Delevingne, Chris Brown, racer Lewis Hamilton, Will.i.am, Diddy, Nicole Scherzinger, Olympian Louis Smith, One Direction stars Liam Payne and Zayn Malik, and troubled teenage pop idol Justin Bieber.
The Sun’s undercover team posed as wealthy businessmen seeking stars to help promote a new business venture and met Starino for dinner in which he bragged about his operation, supply, contacts, escorts, and partner Ashley Gordon who is considered “his chemist”.
Anderson, 26, claims to be a celebrity PR man who has negotiated endorsement deals with major brand names for several stars.
He bragged: “I am their right-hand man. When they’re in London and want to go out, I arrange everything from restaurants and clubs to anything else they want.”
