Award winning soul singer Ledisi is on a role in her career and launched a tour to support her fifth studio album, “Pieces of Me.”

Already sold out in Washington D.C., Philadelphia and New York City, the singer started the concert in Charlotte, N.C. Tuesday night and plans to make her way to 20 cities around the country.

The last show will be on Nov. 23 in Baltimore, MD.

“This is the most exciting time of my career. To be able to share my music with people who helped me become who I am today is the best feeling in the world,” she said. “I’m grateful to my fans and have been working so hard to make this tour unforgettable and putting my heart and soul into my performances. People will definitely see many different pieces of me.”

Herman Cain accused of sexually harassing two female employees

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain's campaign has denied allegations that he was twice accused of sexual harassment while he was the head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s.

His campaign refuted a Politico report that said Cain had been accused of sexually suggestive behaviour toward at least two female employees.

The report said the women signed agreements with the restaurant group that gave them five-figure financial payouts to leave the association and barred them from discussing their departures. Neither woman was identified.

The report was based on anonymous sources and, in one case, what the publication said was a review of documentation that described the allegations and the resolution.

'Inside-the-Beltway media have begun to launch unsubstantiated personal attacks on Cain,' spokesman JD Gordon said in a written statement.

'Dredging up thinly sourced allegations stemming from Mr Cain's tenure as the Chief Executive Officer at the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s, political trade press are now casting aspersions on his character and spreading rumors that never stood up to the facts.'

Aides did not immediately respond to whether Cain would keep to his planned appearances in Washington on Monday.

He was slated to discuss his tax plan at the American Enterprise Institute, appear at the National Press Club and hold a healthcare briefing on Capitol Hill.

Cain - a self-styled outsider relatively new to the national stage - is facing a new level of scrutiny after a burst of momentum in the race for the GOP presidential nomination.

He's been steadily at or near the top of national surveys and early presidential nominating state polls, competitive with former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.

The former pizza company executive has been pointing to his long record in business to argue that he has the credentials needed to be president during a time of economic strife.

In its report, Politico said it confronted Cain early on Sunday outside of the CBS News Washington bureau, where he had just been interviewed on 'Face the Nation.'

'I am not going to comment on that,' he told Politico when asked specifically about one of the woman's claims.

When asked if he had ever been accused of harassment by a woman, he responded, Politico said, by asking the reporter, 'Have you ever been accused of sexual harassment?'

A message seeking comment from Peter Kilgore, listed on the National Restaurant Association website as its chief legal counsel, was not immediately returned.

VH1 DIVAS ARE CELEBRATING SOUL MUSIC

VH1 Divas is back and ready to celebrate some soul. Mary J Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott, Kelly Clarkson, Florence and the Machine and Jessie J will serve as the star-studded lineup for the long-running concert event, which airs December 19 at 9 p.m. on VH1. This year, VH1 is paying tribute to prominent birthplaces of soul music, including Chicago, Detroit, London, Memphis and Philadelphia. The Divas are expected to pay homage to these cities and the genre through their own soulful tracks as well as some of the genre’s classic tunes onstage at New York’s iconic Hammerstein Ballroom. And it’s not just women who are in on the celebration, but also the Roots, who have been confirmed as the event’s house band. ?uestlove is set to pull double-duty during the concert as musical director too.

Taylor Swift Threatens Lawsuit Over Alleged Nude Photo Post

She's one of the few young stars who's been able to maintain a squeaky clean image, and Taylor Swift is irate over the release of supposed topless photo of herself by a website called Celeb Jihad.

According to TMZ, the "Mine" singer insists that she was "wrongly identified" as the subject in the leaked nude photo - and she's geared up to file a lawsuit against the site which posted the material.

Celeb Jihad ill-advisedly put up the risque pic of a girl resembling Miss Swift with a headline accompanying the shot reading "Taylor Swift Topless Private Pic Leaked?"

Taylor's camp has since sent over a letter insisting that the post be taken down immediately with non-compliance to be met with a trademark infringement lawsuit due to "false pornographic images and false 'news' about the singer."

TMZ tells that the operators of the site are currently considering their options before making a move.

Kris has been very vocal about relationships, parenting,entertainment indusrty, aging and even uncontrollably bladders. However the media momager has always been tightlipped about the murder of her best friend, Nicole Simpson. Nicole Simpson was the ex-wife of NFL legend O.J. Simpsons who was murdered outside of her Los Angelos home with her friend Ron Goldman. Since learing about the murder Kris was automatically thrown into the media chaos during the trial. WHY? She was the ex wife of “OJ Dream Team”attorney Robert Kardashian. In Kris Jenner new memoir “Kris Jenner…And All Things Kardashian” she reveals her intimate thoughts surrounding the murder of her best friend.

“I never believed O.J., not for one second.” After learning of Nicole’s shocking death “I instinctively knew that in some way O.J. had something to do with her death.” Kris writes.

“According to Robert, that night or shortly thereafter, O.J. said that he wanted to go for a walk, and he needed to go by himself. He said he needed to go “talk to Nicole.” So he went on this really long walk…I’ll always wonder what O.J. did on that walk. Did he take the knife out of the golf bag and throw it into a canyon or in somebody’s trash can? That still haunts me.”

“If The Gloves Doesn’t Fit, You Must Acquit“. Kris claims she was with Nicole when she bought gloves very similar to the infamous leather version O.J. tried on during the trial, but when he put them on for the jury they were obviously shrunken from contact with a liquid. “It was such a ruse,” she claims.

Although she was devastated about the NOT GUILTY conviction she knew OJ would somehow pay the price for his actions. Not only was he hit with a civil suit but in 2008 he was sentenced to 33 years in prison for several felony convictions including kidnapping, criminal conspiracy and assault with a deadly weapon. Robert Kardashian admitted in a 1996 interview that he had “doubts” about his friend’s innocence but he died in 2003 without ever revealing more details.

Kim K’s EX-Husband Kris Humphries Fleeced Big Time in Major Money Scam

According to TMZ, Kim Kardashian‘s husband claims he was bilked out of hundreds of thousands of dollars by a guy he invited to his wedding … a guy who’s been arrested for allegedly running a $1.7 million investment scam.

Andrey C. Hicks was a guest at Kim and Kris Humphries televised wedding bonanza in August … and sat right behind the happy couple during the rehearsal dinner.

But TMZ has learned … after the wedding, Humphries found out that Hicks was a target in a federal investigation in which he’s suspected of raising money for a purported billion dollar hedge fund … that didn’t really exist.

Officials believe Andrey lied to several investors — including Kris — telling them, among other things, that he was a Harvard graduate … when in fact, he was kicked out of the University after 3 semesters for crappy grades. Officials say Andrey only took 1 math class at Harvard … and got a D-.

Officials claim 27-year-old Hicks stole $1.7 million from various investors … and sources close to Kris tell us the NBA star accounted for hundreds of thousands of dollars himself.

Hicks was arrested in Canada on Friday and charged with wire fraud. Officials believe he was trying to flee to Switzerland. If convicted, Hicks could face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

STAR JONES’ BOOK BECOMES A TV SERIES

Star Jones’s scandalous novel Satan’s Sisters — a fictional tale loosely based on her tenure as co-host of ABC talk show The View — will be turned into a television series. Star broke the news to Wendy Williams yesterday, “I can’t tell you any more yet,” Star said, “but it’s a done deal.” The book revolves around four women on daytime TV and is loaded with drama about their lives at work and otherwise. Some of characters in the tale bear striking similarities to the women she previously worked with for nine years on The View, right down to their “grand dame” lead host who sounds a lot like Barbara Walters (though the character is Black in the story), but Star has insisted that she didn’t spill any of her former co-workers real-life secrets.

There are no details on what network the show might appear on, what the name of it will be or when it’s set to launch

NICE TRY MISS MARLO…..BUT YOU WON’T BE WITH NENE AND CREW

For the new season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” expect all of your favorite cast members and new comers, minus Marlo Hampton. Nope, she didn’t make the cut.

Although being spotted in filming sessions with Cynthia Bailey, NeNe Leakes, Sheree Whitfield and Phaedra Parks, Hampton’s not a cast member, and allegedly for good reason.

Before you go back looking at previous reports, yes a contract was drawn up for Hampton, but the network did a little background check and found her extensive criminal record.

She’s been arrested six times for various offenses,

Oh and she’s pretty much a liar. She told the network that NFL player Chris Grant is was her fiancée, but according to sources, uh … he never popped the question and he’s refusing to back claims that they were ever engaged. Nice try Hampton.

She might, however, get her one-hour of fame since she did go on the trip to South Africa with the cast and has been shooting scenes with the ladies. We shall see.

Season 4 of “RHOA” premieres on Nov. 6 at 9 p.m. EST. on Bravo.

US AIRWAYS Murder Mystery: US Airways attendant found tied up and strangled with his belt in Mexico hotel room

An airline attendant was found strangled in his Mexico City hotel room Saturday and the motive of the crime is still under investigation.

Authorities found Nick Aaronson when they were called to his hotel room before 4.30am Saturday morning.

He had been staying in the Hilton Hotel along with a number of other US Airways staff during a layover in Mexico City.

They found Mr Aaronson's body and concluded that he had been strangled to death. The body had also clearly been struck several times.

He was found face down on the hotel bed, unconscious, with a belt around his neck and his hands tied behind him.

His luggage was said to be scattered around the room, though there are no further details of whether anything had been taken.

His age has not been released but police guessed that he was between 30 and 35 years old.

Investigators are still looking for clues in the case and have not released any theories as to how it happened.

They did say that initial reports do not show any security breach at the Hilton Hotel where Mr Aaronson and his fellow flight staff were staying.

That said, US Airways officials decided to move the crew to another hotel.

'We do not believe our crew members are at risk. However, until this matter is resolved, layover crews will be temporarily relocated to an alternative location,' said the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA) Council 66 which represents US Airways employees.

Mr Aaronson, who was originally from Pheonix, Arizona, was said to be a 'very popular' and much-loved flight attendant' by Deborah Volpe, president of the AFA Council 66.

'We don't know a lot,' Ms Volopek said. 'What our focus is right now is caring for our co-workers who all know Nick.'

Mr Aaronson was a graduate of Rio Salado College in Tempe, Arizona, where he studied communications.

He began working for US Airways, which is based in Tempe, in 2006.

'This was a very tragic event and it has affected us all. Right now, we are focusing on taking care of our crew members,' Ms Volopek said......UPDATE..They now have a suspect in custody!

Rapper/Actor Soulja Boy is claiming that hip-hop artists are taking his "swag" from his music and trying to use his rapping-style.

In an interview with Billboard, Soulja Boy spoke on working with on a new album and working with some of music's biggest names today.

However, Soulja said it has been difficult for the young rapper to score features, because to him everyone is just copying his style.

"Me and Drizzy (Drake). We definitely going to drop something. Definitely Busta Rhymes, Lil B...I mean there's artists out there, but its like, shit got dry in the last few years. N***as be trying to sound like me and sh**."

"I listen to a hit, its like 'Okay it's a hit, but it sounds like me. Every time I do something they copy it...I mean its cool, it makes me bigger and shit. But it's just like... Once you do so much copying, I can't do me then."

While many have claimed it is actually Soulja Boy who has swag jacked fellow rappers like Lil B, do you think people are really stealing Soulja's style? I damn sure nuff don’t!

Awwww How sweet! JoJo Lends a Hand at Children’s Hospital

During her trip back home, JoJo took some time out to visit with young patients at Children’s Hospital Boston. The 20-year-old singer, who is currently performing free shows on her Hard Rock Cafe tour, put a smile on the kids’ faces as she decorated Halloween cookies and posed for photos with them.

JoJo’s video for “Disaster,” the first single from her upcoming album Jumping Trains, will premiere next week.

‘Iron Man 3′ Joins Movie And TV Production Exodus To North Carolina

“The rumors are true,” a North Carolina TV station announced when the governor flew to the hometown movie studio to break the news this past week. “Tony Stark and the third installment of the Iron Man movie franchise will fly into Wilmington.” Great news for North Carolina maybe but for the Los Angeles movie and TV community it felt like a punch in the gut. Thanks to the state’s generous 25% production credit, North Carolina’s EUE/Screen Gems Studios sealed the deal. Manhattan Beach-based Marvel Studios considered making the third movie in Los Angeles just like the first two, but the 25% credit proved too hard to resist. California has a 25% credit — which excludes big budget studio productions. Marvel also considered Michigan and New Mexico but North Carolina won out because of the size of the facility as well as the tax credit.

“We aggressively pursued this piece of business,” said EUE/Screen Gems Co-Owner and COO Chris Cooney. “We negotiated hard, and it paid off.” EVP Bill Vassar pointed out that in addition to Screen Gems’ 10 sound stages the area has a large local crew base with experience handling five productions simultaneously. Iron Man 3 is expected to pump about $80 million into the local economy. “This is a great day for North Carolina,” Gov. Bev Perdue boasted. Not so great for Los Angeles, though. “Five-hundred-fifty jobs, all the other sub-jobs, the construction jobs, that’s what it’s all about to us here locally.” In addition to Iron Man 3, Perdue cited Hunger Games and a lot of other movies and TV work currently and recently all over North Carolina. “The film tax credit made a real difference.”

Too make matters worse, at a time when many other states, not just North Carolina, are aggressively pursuing location shoots, California’s tax credit program was extended after only one year because the Legislature didn’t think the financially strapped state could afford originally proposed five-year version.

L.A. wasn’t the only city that got this kind of news recently. NBC Sports announced that it was moving out of its longtime home at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan about 35 miles away to Stamford, Conn., to take advantage of tax incentives. Connecticut offers tax credits from 10% up to 30% depending on a production’s budget.

Iron Man 3, which North Carolina officials say will be the state’s biggest production yet, is expected to set up shop in Wilmington for about 10 months starting after the first of the year.
