Kendrick Lamar has addressed the moment which saw him call out a white female fan for rapping the N-word after he invited her to sing one of his songs on stage last month.
The rapper was performing his song “M.A.A.D City” at Hangout Festival when the moment happened, halting the music after the fan rapped the racial slur three times.
Following the moment, Lamar cut the woman off and permitted her to perform the song again, telling her: “You got to bleep one single word though.”
In a brand new profile interview with Vanity Fair, the rapper explained the situation for the first time publicly explaining why white people shouldn't use the word.
“Let me put it to you in its simplest form,” he said. “I’ve been on this earth for 30 years, and there’s been so many things a Caucasian person said I couldn’t do. Get good credit. Buy a house in an urban city. So many things - ’you can’t do that’ - whether it’s from afar or close up. So if I say this is my word... please let me have that word.”
Following the moment, Lamar cut her off, permitting her to perform the song again but telling her: “You got to bleep one single word though.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Lamar also reflected upon winning the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Music for his 2017 record DAMN - the first non-jazz or classical artist to do so.

In a flashback scene from season one, Lucious throws Jamal in a trashcan after he sees him wearing heels. Daniels once recalled experiencing a similar interaction when he was a boy.
“I walked down the stairs with high heels on, and he put me in the trashcan," he once told ET. “I think that's where Precious came from, because I remember the stench. I remember the dark, the cold, my mother trying to fight, and then me, thinking that I was Aladdin on a carpet escaping.”
The show has broken records.
In 2015, Fox reported that “Empire” was the only primetime scripted series to grow in total viewers over each of its first five telecasts since at least 1991.
In 2015, “Empire” scored the highest-rated regularly scheduled episode of any broadcast network drama since “Grey’s Anatomy” in September 2010, according to Vulture.
“Star” is a spinoff of “Empire.”
After the first season of “Empire,” Daniels announced that he was developing a spinoff titled “Star.” The show, which is filmed in Atlanta, is based on three young singers trying to navigate the music business.
Starring Queen Latifah, the drama premiered in December 2016 on Fox, and a crossover episode of the two series aired in 2017. “Star” has recently been renewed for a third season.

#HipHopNews: Method Man Admits He Burned Bridges During Last Days At Def Jam
Def Jam Recordings was founded 34 years ago in a New York University dorm room by the heavily bearded Rick Rubin. Since then, it’s blossomed into the powerhouse label it is today and is responsible for establishing the careers of artists like the Beastie Boys, LL Cool J and Public Enemy.
By the time Method Man arrived in 1994, not only was Wu-Tang Clan already a hot commodity but Def Jam was also earning its stripes as one of the best Hip Hop labels out there. After four solo albums with the imprint, including his 1994 debut Tical, things were changing at Def Jam and Meth admits he didn’t exactly handle it well.
“I burned a lot of fucking bridges at Def Jam,” Meth told HipHopDX in April. “I had a lot of love for the company ’cause I came in when I was young. I had been there for so many fucking years, so when staff changed and people changed and things started to change, I didn’t know how to handle the shit.
“I hung onto the people that were still there and alienated myself from the new people and by that, that small circle I had, the bigger circle around it, none of them fucked with me. And then that small circle that I fucked with, there was nothing they could do about it, so they couldn’t fuck with me either, so now I’m a man on an island by my fucking self.”
Looking back, the tenured MC recognizes his mistakes but took away some valuable lessons from the Def Jam era.
“This was before JAY-Z even got there,” he explained. “It was a shift and I didn’t know how to handle the shit. I should’ve stayed true to myself and been myself, but I didn’t and I was rotten to a lot of people up at Def Jam. There were some people up there deserved the shit. But I was rotten to a lot of people who did not fucking deserve it and I apologized for that shit, big time.”
Meth parted ways with Def Jam around 2006 and now, Meth is a bona fide Hip Hop legend. While sitting backstage at Red Rocks Amphitheater with his partner-in-crime Redman, they both reflected on that time with rose-colored glasses.
“Oh man, those were the days,” Meth recalled. “But then, we was like playing for the fucking Yankees, ’cause remember when the Yankees was just buying everybody contracts? Yeah, A-Rod, [Derek] Jeter, just everybody? Everybody was coming to the Yankees and shit. We had JAY-Z, Ja Rule and DMX, Joe Budden, Beanie Sigel, Kanye West.”
Harvey Weinstein Charged with Additional Sex Crimes, Facing Life in Prison
Harvey Weinstein is now facing a lifetime of imprisonment after the Manhattan District Attorney announced a slew of additional charges against the disgraced producer.
The D.A. just announced Weinstein was charged with an additional count for an alleged forcible sexual act against a woman in 2006 and two other counts of predatory sexual assault.
In reference to the new charges, Cyrus Vance said “This indictment is the result of the extraordinary courage exhibited by the survivors who have come forward. Our investigation continues.”
According to the indictment, Weinstein’s already facing charges that stem from a period in 2004 when he allegedly forced a woman to give him oral copulation. Another incident allegedly occurred on March 18, 2013 when Weinstein “engaged in sexual intercourse with a second person known to the Grand Jury without said person’s consent.”
The D.A. says the additional charges carry a “minimum sentence of 10 years and a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.”
Weinstein had already been indicted on multiple sex crimes, and now the complete rundown of charges are as follows:
Predatory Sexual Assault, a class A-II felony, 2 counts
Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, a class B felony, 2 counts
Rape in the First Degree, a class B felony, 1 count
Rape in the Third Degree, a class E felony, 1 count
Back in May, Weinstein pled not guilty to the charges against him.

Kim Kardashian has officially made amends. The reality star spoke out in a new interview on Saturday, June 30, revealing just how that video on Instagram of she and Tristan Thompson came about. At Khloé Kardashian’s 34th birthday party on June 27, Kim asked Thompson to unblock her on Instagram – and documented it all on her Instagram Story.

Singer Bette Midler tweet in celebration of Joe Jackson’s death is drawing different reactions among Twitter users.
The “Wind Beneath My Wings” singer tweeted Saturday, June 30 that the Jackson family patriarch was “a monster who ate his own children.”
“#JoeJackson is d-e-a-d- and Hallelujah!! A monster who ate his own children; like in an old Grecian myth. I hated every minute he lived. All times are strange but this is really beyond the pale. Would Quincy Jones like to weigh in?? Always interested!!!”
Fans were both supportive of and disgusted by Midler’s comment.

Ahead of Jackson’s death from cancer at age 89 last week, reports emerged that the father of 11 had initially barred his family from seeing him before ultimately letting a few family members visit. When he died, his family — including children Janet, Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito Jackson — released a statement.
“We mourn the loss of our father and celebrate the life of a man who sacrificed so much to give us the life and success we have today,” it read.
Andy Samberg Calls Terry Crews a ‘Miracle’ Following His Sexual-Assault Testimony

Terry Crews became an unexpected part of the #MeToo movement when he accused high-profile talent agent Adam Venit of sexual assault last year, and all has not gone well for him since coming forward. The actor claims he lost his role in “The Expendables 4” due to his accusation and has received mockery from the likes of 50 Cent, but for the most part Crews has been applauded for speaking out. Following his senate testimony earlier this week, the physically imposing funny man has been called a “miracle” by “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” co-star Andy Samberg.
“We have a cast text chain and we were all texting him how incredible it was,” Samberg said of his fellow “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” cast members during a red-carpet interview with the Associated Press. “He’s a miracle. Terry’s the best guy. I am proud to know him.” Venit has denied Crews’ accusations, and the Los Angeles District Attorney has chosen not to pursue the actor’s case because the statute of limitations has already expired.
After being canceled by Fox in May, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” was quickly picked up by NBC. Its sixth season will premiere on the peacock network later this year.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Rescue teams in Thailand have found 12 missing boys and their assistant coach inside a cave complex, showing “signs of life” nine days after they went missing, Chiang Rai province’s governor said on Monday.
“Thai Navy seals have found all 13 with signs of life,” Governor Narongsak Osottanakorn told reporters. An international search effort has gone on since the group went missing inside the Tham Luang cave.

Page Six published a lengthy exclusive article about Thomas Ravenel's sexual assault scandal and interviewed the two accusers who have come forward to tell their own stories about being attacked by the felon turned reality star turned possible felon again. Yes, we have previously reported these two ladies claims of sexual assault but you guys need to read the DETAIL in which they happened to get the full effect of what this pig did.
The most annoying, predictable and eye-roll inducing tea that came from the article was the fact that Bravo and Haymaker have not even reached out the two women after they announced they would be "investigating" their claims. When the accusations first broke they stated:
“Haymaker, the production company for Southern Charm, and Bravo take allegations like these very seriously,” the network said. “Haymaker is conducting an investigation, and once all the information is gathered and carefully reviewed, appropriate action will be taken.”
Now, Bravo claimed they had to refrain from looking into the matter until the police are done investigating. First of all, they shouldn't have said they were investigating if they weren't and second of all, how the fuck does Bravo investigate this? What are they going to do ask the girls about their claims and get the same answers they would get from reading the headlines of every gossip blog? That "investigation" was bullshit, all it did was save time while the season was airing before they could formally fired the gross star.
The first accuser's daughter Ashley Perkins told her mom's side of the story for Page Six because her mom signed an NDA to the tune of $20,000 so she can't speak about the matter, however, her daughter can because she never signed it. Don't you love legal loopholes and the fact that Thomas essentially wasted 20K?
Her mom went on a Tinder date with Thomas on Christmas 2015, they were supposed to go out for dinner but he changed the plan to "showing her his renovations at his house." He gave her a tour of the house and pointed to a bathroom and claimed he had caught Kathryn Dennis hooking up with a guy in there before he went into a trance and assaulted her. Ashley explained her mother's assault:
“He ends up pushing her onto the nanny’s bed. He gets on top of her and he held her wrist with one hand — that’s how she got her wrist injuries — he pushes at her shirt and her bra. At one point he pulls his pants down and puts his penis in her face. He also put his hands in her pants and he penetrated her vaginally and anally.“She’s trying to get him off saying, ‘Stop. Stop. Stop.’ When he had his penis in her face, she randomly screamed to him, ‘You’re a rapist!’ And she said once she called him a rapist, [it] was like dumping cold water on him. He just like froze, got off of her and was done.”
She then tried to gather her belongings, which he threw wine on and told her to get an Uber, but then drove her home because she didn't have an account before he told her “Hey, I’m going to this party at the Tides. See if you can get a group of your hot young girlfriends to come join us," in the car on the way home. What a fucking pig. She took photos of her injuries, contacted Gloria Allred, Thomas paid her not to talk about the attack and the mother and daughter both moved to Florida.
The second victim, Nanny Dawn who appeared on seasons two and three of Southern Charm, came forward with her story of forcible rape to the police after she heard the first claim. He asked her to work late one night so he could meet his friends and when he came home he turned the lights off and tried to kiss her:
“I turned my face because I did not want him to kiss me. I don’t know if he felt rejected or what, but he went to hug me and I can’t hug him back because I got these bottles and towels in my hand. So I noticed when he hugged me that his balance was a little off and I remembered that he was saying he was taking pain medications due to a knee injury. “It escalated from there where he wouldn’t take no for an answer,” she said. “Although it wasn’t penile penetration, what he did do was identified by the law as first-degree forcible rape.”
He then apologised to her and she continued to work for the family because Thomas & Kathryn had split up and were expecting another baby and she didn't want their first child Kensie to have to go through another kind of change in her life, which is such a noble and brave thing to do after going through such a disgusting ordeal. The police are now trying to find two cellphone calls Dawn made to her sister and husband following the attack and one call Thomas made to her on her way home, to corroborate her story.
The police investigation is still ongoing, but for the victim's sake and their right to justice, let's hope that he gets punished will all the strength of the law because this behaviour is cruel, disgusting and has no fucking place in our society today.
Liam Payne And Singer Cheryl Cole Split After Over Two Years Together
The two have a 1-year-old son together named Bear.
Liam Payne, 24, and singer Cheryl Cole, 35, are going their separate directions ways.
The former One Direction singer and the “X Factor UK” judge announced their split on Sunday after nearly two years together. The two have a 1-year-old son together, Bear.
“We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It’s been a tough decision for us to make,” the joint statement said, which appeared somewhat differently on the pair’s respective Twitter accounts. “We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.”
The two first met on a 2008 episode of “X Factor,” when Payne was a 14-year-old contestant and Cole was a judge.
After his audition, Cole said, “I like you, I think you’re really cute. I think you’ve got charisma ― you know ― when you give us that cheeky little wink.”
Though Payne didn’t advance in the show at the time, he later locked eyes with Cole when reappeared on the show in 2010 and was paired with his future One Direction stars.
“X Factor UK” gave Payne the career of a lifetime, but the 24-year-old told the radio station “The Hits” that his favorite moment on the show involved Cheryl, saying “I think when I winked at my Mrs. on the show, before she was my Mrs. I think it’s just the best thing ever.”
The two began dating in 2015 shortly after Cole split from her second husband, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini (she was previously married to soccer player Ashley Cole). They made things official — with an Instagram photo, of course — in early 2016.
The two announced that Cole had given birth to their first child, a son named Bear, in March 2017. People first confirmed the pregnancy in November 2016.
“She is a wonderful, wonderful person and it’s amazing to have someone who can relate to so much of things — someone who’s taken greater steps than me,” Payne said. “She’s been my dream girl since I was younger. She’s so ace.”
In the following months, the couple denied both engagement rumors and split rumors, though the latter apparently turned out to be true.
