#RHoA: Who did RHoA’s Shamea Morton NOT INVITE to her Upcoming Wedding? 

Shamea Morton has found herself embroiled in some major drama this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. But when she's not hanging with this Hotlanta squad, Shamea's life has been pretty Georgia peachy keen, thanks to her engagement to fiancé Gerald Mwangi on August 14. 
Shamea and Gerald have been together for three years, and the RHOA pal definitely feels #blessed to have him in her life. "He is amazing. He is definitely Godsend. And they say you got to kiss a couple of frogs before you get your Prince Charming, and that is definitely what he is," Shamea gushed during a recent interview with The Daily Dish. "I think about where I was five years ago even, and I think about where I am now, and all I can say is, ‘God, he is so good, and he is so merciful, and he is so understanding, and he is so patient and forgiving.' And it’s nothing but his work that brought us together."   

Gerald, who owns companies that deal in mergers and acquisitions, is originally from Kenya, so he and Shamea had planned to hold the traditional ceremony where the dowry is presented to the bride's parents on April 8. The couple's official wedding ceremony will be taking place in Nyeri, Kenya on July 22, and the reception will be held at a venue at Mount Kenya, the second-highest peak in Africa behind Mount Kilimanjaro. Shamea said she not only plans on partying "all night long" with her wedding guests but also going on safari and getting a little beach fun in the sun, too. "I want it to be an experience for my guests, not just the wedding day," she said. "I want them to leave like, ‘Oh my goodness, that was fun.’" 
Despite everything that's gone down with the RHOA ladies this season, Shamea has actually invited many of them to her impending nuptials — all of them except Phaedra Parks, who seemed to start those rumors about her and Kandi Burruss hooking up, that is. "My invitations went out two days ago, and I’ve already gotten calls and texts from a lot of the ladies I know of. Kenya [Moore] is going to be in South Africa. She says she’ll try to come. Kandi and Todd [Tucker] say they’re definitely coming. Cynthia [Bailey] says she’s definitely coming because she’s got some friends in Kenya already," Shamea said. "And I haven’t spoken to Porsha [Williams], but you know Porsha was supposed to be in my wedding, but I’m sure she’ll be there. I can’t see her not coming." 

Though Shamea has been learning Swahili at Georgia State University and is on track to be fluent in the language soon, she said she and Gerald will be settling down in the United States after the wedding. "He and his siblings came to the States for college. So he’s been in the States right before his 18th birthday, and he’s like, 'No, I never want to leave Atlanta,'" Shamea explained. "That’s where all my family is, and he has all his friends here, and we just have a really great life in Atlanta. That’s where we want to raise our kids, and this is home for us." 


#EMPIRE: Actress Taraji P. Henson returning to Atlanta to film 'The Best of Enemies' 

Actress Taraji P. Henson, seen weekly on the TV series Empire, and recently in the award-winning motion picture Hidden Figures, filmed in Georgia, will be returning to Atlanta to film another movie starting next month. 
According to Deadline, Henson will star in The Best of Enemies, based on Osha Gray Davidson's book by the same name which chronicles the true story of Ann Atwater and C.P. Ellis. 
Atwater was a civil rights activist from Durham, North Carolina, who had a decade-long battle with Ellis, the "Exalted Cyclops" of Durham's Ku Klux Klan. Deadline says their tumultuous battle came to an "abrupt and unlikely end in 1971," when, after a court-ordered desegregation of the city's schools, the two agreed to co-chair two-week community meeting to try to reach a compromise. 
The events that followed changed the city, and changed the lives of both Atwater and Ellis completely. 
Filmmakers have been trying to bring the story before cameras for nearly two years. My Entertainment World says production will finally get underway in late May. 


#MUSICNEWS: Letoya Luckett Announces Release Date for New Album ‘Back 2 Life,’ Reveals Cover & Tracklisting 

Grammy award-winning R&B songstress LeToya Luckett has announced the release date for her anticipated third studio album BACK 2 LIFE, along with sharing the sexy cover art and tracklisting. 
The singer’s first album in eight years is due out May 12 via Entertainment One Music. It has been preceded by the title track, produced by Jo Blaq and YBZ, which she first released last December. 
On the cover, the former Destiny’s Child member shows off her figure with a low cut dress,fd while seated in a chair with her hands behind her head and her legs crossed. 
The 13 track LP features rapper Ludacris (“Grey”) and production by Grammy award-winning hitmakers Andre Harris, Warryn Campbell, and newcomer Anthony Saunders among others. 
In January, the “Rosewood” actress dropped an eight-minute music video for “Back 2 Life,” where she was able to showcase her acting skills as well. 
In addition to the new music, LeToya is set to star in Dionne Warwick’s forthcoming biopic, and she will record Warwick’s songs for the movie soundtrack.

Coachella 2017 - Set Times, Schedule, & Stages Revealed! 

If you are going to the 2017 Coachella Music Festival during one of the two weekends this month, we have some info you need to see – the set times for each artist! 
Radiohead will be headlining on the Coachella Stage on Friday night starting at 10:35pm, Lady Gaga will perform on the stage on Saturday night at 11:20pm, and Kendrick Lamar ends the weekend with a 10:25pm headlining set on Sunday night. 

Some of the other notable acts performing throughout the weekend include Travis Scott on the Outdoor Theatre stage at 9:35pm on Friday night, Gucci Mane on the Sahara Stage on Saturday night at 10:35pm, Lorde on the Coachella Stage on Sunday night at 8:45pm, and Tove Lo on the Mojave Stage at 7:55pm on Sunday night.

The Internet can not stop talking about Ludacris’ fake CGI abs in his new music video for “Vitamin D,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. We should rephrase — folks can’t stop dissing the rapper for the clearly unrealistic images. 
In the visual, Luda shows off his chest with obviously enhanced ab muscles. One fan suggested the washboard madness looks like the King’s Hawaiian rolls “I buy at 7/11 when i’m drunk.” 
Even Luda couldn’t help but have some fun with viewers comments. In fact, he launched a vitamin D chest challenge. 

But in case you thought the rapper was fooling his fans into thinking his body is this tight, guess again. He pretty much gives it away in the music video that his fake bod was just a dream and the illusion was all intentional. 



Will Smith Chops Off His Son Jaden’s Dreadlocks For New Movie Role 

Snip snip! Jaden Smith has bid farewell to his bleached dreadlocks with a little help from his dad, Will Smith. 
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air alum shared a photo to his Facebook on Tuesday, April 11 showing off his son’s before and after transformation. 
“Getting Jaden Smith ready for the first day of filming #LifeInAYear …maybe I should’ve used scissors?!” he captioned the fun photos. 
Jaden, 18, hacked off his hue for his latest movie role Life in a Year, which his famous father is producing. 
The flick will follow a teenage boy who discovers his girlfriend is dying of cancer, and so he makes it his mission to give her a full life in the last year she has to live. 

Cara Delevingne will star opposite him and Terrence Howard and Nia Long have also been cast. 



Do Gooders! Chris Paul's wife, Jada, to host prom dress giveaway 

Chris Paul's wife, Jada, hosted the fourth annual Prom Dress Giveaway at the JW Marriott in Los Angeles 
The event is sponsored by the Chris Paul Foundation, which was founded by the point guard in 2005 in honor of his late grandfather to provide scholarships for high school graduates to attend Wake Forest University. 
In the Prom Dress Giveaway, 100 L.A.-area high school girls, who have been selected from a variety of community programs, will choose from new and vintage gowns, shoes, jewelry and accessories. 
The gowns are being provided by BCBGMaxAzria and Windsor Fashions. Jane Cosmetics will have makeup artists there who will give demonstrations and tips. 
The event also featured a runway fashion show with the Clippers Spirit Dance Team modeling some of the dresses. 

There was also be gift bags and other surprises. 



Vin Diesel Wasn't Original Choice for Fast & Furious' Dom Toretto - Find Out Who Turned Down Role! 

The Fate of the Furious producer Neil H. Moritz just revealed that Vin Diesel wasn’t the original choice to play the role of Dominic Toretto in The Fast and the Furious films! 
Neil went on The Bill Simmons Podcast and spoke about how the studio originally tapped Justified‘s Timothy Olyphant for the role. 
“I had been working with Paul Walker on another movie, Skulls, and I gave him the script [for The Fast and the Furious],” Neil said. “Rob Cohen, who I had made The Rat Pack with, we gave him the script. The two of them liked the idea. And then we had to look for Dom Toretto. The studio said, ‘If you can get Timothy Olyphant to play that role we will greenlight the movie… The luckiest thing that ever happened to us is Tim Olyphant turned us down. He’s a great actor. In fact, I’m curious to see what that movie would have been.” 
Later, Neil met with Vin at a restaurant after seeing some of his work. 

“I went and met him at Kate Mantilini [restaurant] and he wasn’t a star yet, but the great thing about Vin is he always believed he was a star,” Neil continued. “And I was going in there to think he’s coming to me to want the role and I’m the one there now having to convince him to do the role! Lucky for both of us that happened. And then we started to make the movie.” 



Sean Spicer Apologizes for Hitler Comments: 'I've Let the President Down' 

Sean Spicer is apologizing again for his shocking comments on Hitler and chemical warfare made on Tuesday (April 11). 
During a briefing with the White House press corps, he said, “We didn’t even use chemical weapons in World War II. You had a — you know someone as despicable as Hitler who didn’t even sink to using chemical weapons. 
Today, he apologized. “I made a mistake. There’s no other way to say it,” the Press Secretary told Greta Van Susteren. “I got into a topic that I shouldn’t have and I screwed up.” 
“Your job as spokesperson is to help amplify the president’s actions and accomplishments. When you’re distracting from that accomplishment and your job is to do the exact opposite, on a professional level it’s disappointing because I think I’ve let the president down.”

JoJo Poses ‘FAULT’ Magazine

JoJo is currently on the road with her 69-date Mad Love Tour, but the 26-year-old took some time to speak with Fault magazine about her comeback and pose for some sexy pics. The “No Apologies” singer serves look after look (she put a corset over a baby blue hoodie and still managed to look good) and smizes like a scheming contestant on America’s Next Top Model. “I recorded so many incarnations of the third album, and I had so many people telling me who I should be and what direction I should take, putting a lot of information out there that I attached onto,” she says of Mad Love. “I feel like I was able to get my footing a bit more. Of course, there’s a big difference between when you’re recording an album at 14 versus 24. I had a lot of life experience, and I think my perspective changed. I just had more fun too! #RHoA: Kim Zolciak-Biermann Dishes on Her Highly-Anticipated Return

After years of fan pleas and rumors of Bravo's begging, it's finally happening: Kim Zolciak-Biermann is making her triumphant return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The OG Georgia peach, who left the series midway through filming the fifth season and is currently filming the sixth season of her spin-off Don't Be Tardy, pops up in the upcoming season nine finale as a guest at fellow OG Sheree Whitfield's long-awaited Chateau Sheree housewarming party. As if no time had passed at all, she immediately finds herself in a sparring match with Kenya Moore. And as she told E! News, she wasn't expecting it at all.

"Of course I'm going to support Sheree. She's always been extremely supportive of me and everything I have going on, so I was super excited to go and see her house finally. I didn't even really think about—it didn't really cross my mind what I would be stepping in to, to be honest," she admitted. "But I definitely didn't think I'd be duking it out with whatever her name is, Kenya. I call her Kendra all the time. Whatever the f--k her name is. Miss Negative Nancy over there."

Despite the drama with Kenya—and despite her admission that her friendship with Sheree is the only relationship she's nurtured since leaving the show—Kim told us she enjoyed her brief return to the RHOA world. "It was great to see everybody else, honestly. Cynthia [Bailey], she's so beautiful. It was great to see her, and of course Sheree and Kandi [Burruss.] Porsha [Williams,] Porsha's hilarious. So f--king funny. So it was great. I definitely didn't expect to duke it out with whatever her name is."

When asked about fellow RHOA vet NeNe Leakes' recent claim that Bravo was making moves to get one of the two of them back on the show, Kim was firm that it never happened. "Honestly, I was not asked to come back. I didn't even know that Sheree's housewarming party was going to be filmed, it didn't even cross my mind. Listen, I'm in season six of Don't Be Tardy. I'm super happy, I get paid to film with my family. It doesn't really get much better than that. But I'm very motivated by money, also. I'd be dumb to tell you opposite," she admitted, before reiterating that there was no offer to consider. "Bravo never asked me to come back on Housewives this season. That never happened. It just happened to be Sheree's housewarming party. And Sheree's actually a friend of mine, so I went."

And if you're wondering what her relationship with Ms. Leakes is like these days, Kim offered this update: "We'll text here and there, to be honest with you, but I haven't seen her in forever. It seems like forever. But we definitely text 'Happy birthday' or what have you. So there's no drama. We just are super busy, both of us."

As for the big Chateau Sheree reveal, and the season finale itself, these are the three words that Kim felt best teased what we're in store for: "Grand, for sure. Exciting. Glamorous. Mmhmm, glamorous." We'd expect nothing less.

#EMPIRE: Granny’s GOT A GUN!!!

On Empire, Anika was in more hot water with the Lyons since Tariq had subpoenaed her to testify against Cookie in a court of law with the hopes of finally bringing the empire down. After being on the run, Anika returned to Luscious’s house, only to find her daughter, Bella, missing and Luscious and Cookie circling her as if she were an injured gazelle.

Though Anika told Cookie that she hadn’t snitched on her, Luscious wondered why they shouldn’t just kill her right then and there. Anika pleaded her case, quickly telling them that her plan was to seduce Tariq while wearing a wire. They could use that against him so the case would be dropped for good. But Grandma Leah didn’t seem too convinced when she emerged from the shadows wielding Cookie’s gun. Fortunately for Anika, Grandma didn’t pull the trigger, and the Lyons gave her the chance to begin her deceitful seduction of Tariq.

Empire airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Fox.

Vin Diesel Says Rumors of Dwayne Johnson Feud Blown Out of Proportion

Vin Diesel is speaking out about rumors that he was feuding with Dwayne Johnson.

Last summer, Dwayne penned a lengthy post on Instagram accusing a The Fate of the Furious co-star of being “chicken shit” and a “candy ass.”

Vin is now clearing up the rumors, explaining the situation was blown out of proportion.

“I don’t think the world really realizes how close we are, in a weird way. I think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don’t think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he’s Uncle Dwayne,” he told USA Today.

He added that although there are sometimes creative differences because of the “two alphas” on set, he aims to protect everyone.

“I protect everybody including Dwayne. I protected Dwayne more than he’ll ever know. And it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t have to know. But he appreciates it. He knows it. Dwayne has only got one Vin in his life. Dwayne Johnson only has one big brother in this film world and that’s me,” Vin said.

'Jersey Shore' Star The Situation May Be Headed to Jail

Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino may be facing some major jail time.

The 34-year-old reality star is currently facing 15 years behind bars for tax evasion, according to Deadline.

Mike and his brother are allegedly facing charges of tax evasion, financial structuring and falsifying records.

In 2014, Mike faced other tax problems and fraud charges from the government.

The brothers are set to appear in court later this month and these charges added together could lead to 15-years or more of jail time.

According to The Miami Herald reports,Miami music producer Harrison Garcia, on trial for federal drug charges, used Instagram to upload photos of himself posing with exotic cars, stacks of cash, and rappers Chris Brown and Lil Wayne.

But investigators believe he did more than just party with the hip-hop stars.

Federal authorities on Thursday revealed they are investigating a $15,000 wire transfer last year from Brown to the bank account of Garcia, who boasted that the money was for drugs and the popular cough syrup-and-soda known as “lean.” And Garcia, when he was first arrested last October, confessed that he sold Lil Wayne “a lot of narcotics,” a federal agent testified on Thursday in Garcia’s trial for drug dealing.

…jurors got to see evidence of Lil Wayne — whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter — and Brown’s involvement in the form of text messages seized from Garcia’s phones.

The messages appeared to show Garcia directing his “do-boy” to deliver drugs to Lil Wayne and his crew. “I’ll shoot u some trees,” one message read, a reference to marijuana. “It’s for Wayne,” Garcia allegedly responded via text.

The text message about Brown was more explicit. Garcia sent a bragging text message to a woman of a screen shot of the $15,000 bank deposit from “Christopher Brown” into his account.

“Look who put money my account,” Garcia wrote.

The woman responded: “What that for LOL”

Garcia replied with several smiley face emojis: “Drugs … lean and sh-t.”

Rihanna Set to Collaborate With 'Chopard' on Jewelry Collection

Rihanna is expanding her empire into the world of jewelry!

The 29-year-old entertainer is set to launch a jewelry collection with Chopard, aptly named Rihanna Loves Chopard.

The collection will consist of one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by “Rihanna’s island roots.”

“Rihanna and I collaborated closely on the collections, so you can feel her unstoppable energy, strong creativity, and inherent sense of design in every piece. With her unique style, she redefines the way people see and wear jewelry,” creative director Caroline Scheufele said.

The collection is set to launch at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

Goldman Sachs Is About OWN THE WHITE HOUSE!

(HuffPo) In an attempt to rebut reports that he is governing ineffectively and beholden to a small group of fringe right-wing aides, President Donald Trump is reportedly considering yet another White House staff shakeup just 11 weeks into his presidency.

Axios and The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday that Trump is thinking of dismissing or demoting his current chief of staff, Reince Priebus, and his key adviser, Steve Bannon. Both outlets reported that former Goldman Sachs President Gary Cohn ― who currently serves as Trump’s top economic adviser ― is a key contender to replace Priebus.

“Gary Cohn would be the top pick for chief of staff,” if Priebus is fired, a White House official told The Huffington Post.

In an internal struggle for Trump’s good graces, Cohn has a strong hand: He’s rich, close to the Trump family and has ex-employees who now work for the Trump family in the White House. Perhaps most importantly, his promotion could salve Trump’s ego, which has been bruised by his relatively small inauguration crowd and a series of political failures that began with his attempt to ban Muslims from traveling to the United States and continued through his catastrophic attempt to repeal Obamacare.

Cohn “speaks the language of ‘business,’ which is what Trump understands,” the White House official noted. The language of business is money: Cohn walked away with $285 million when he left Goldman Sachs for the Trump administration, and is in many ways a stand-in for the kind of New York businessmen who have shunned Trump for years. After years of being spurned by the American banking elite ― Trump famously had to turn to Deutsche Bank for cash after burning his creditors in bankruptcy ― he appears to enjoy being part of the club.

The White House denied the reports of a staff shakeup, writing in a statement that “the only thing we are shaking up is the way Washington operates as we push the President’s aggressive agenda forward.”
