Tennis superstar Serena Williams was tapped to grace the newest cover of the Wall Street Journal (July/August 2016) and she did not disappoint!
Styling in Balmain, Versace & Onia swimwear, the 21-time Grand Slam winner served up several hot shots in a classic spread. Inside, the world’s No. 1 female tennis player opened up about what she would be doing if she wasn’t the incomparable Serena Williams.
If Rena was just an ordinary girl, she said she would enjoy doing things like going to an amusement park, making groceries at the grocery store and hitting up the mall.
"Ordinary things,” she said. “I’d go to the mall. I never go to the mall.”
What chick doesn’t love picking up pieces from the mall? She said if she’s wasn’t a tennis champion, she would likely be a veternarian.
“I think I would be in California,” she said “Maybe I would be married? Maybe I would have kids? I would like to believe I would. I would have probably gone into some kind of science. I love animals.” She rubs Lorelei on her pink, white-haired belly. “Maybe I would have become a veterinarian.”
The HSN designer and philanthropist confessed after twerking and body rolling in Beyonce’s “Sorry” video for her visual album LEMONADE she was sore!
“I’ve known Bey for a long time,” Serena said. “I got really sore from dancing!”
Ha! Who says twerking isn’t a real workout?

#RHOA: 'The Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 8: Peter Thomas 'Pissed' After Being Caught With Another Woman
Cynthia Bailey of Bravo's 'Te Real Housewives of Atlanta' husband Peter Thomas was seen with another woman. And it's safe to say he was not happy when he got caught.
It looks like Peter Thomas has officially come to terms with his marriage possibly being over as a woman details spotting him with a mystery woman recently.
A fan told The Shade Room that she saw Thomas cozied up with a woman in the middle of the night.
“I caught this man at Midnight Diner in Charlotte, NC around 2:30 a.m. with some new chick! It was definitely clear that they were on a date because they were real affectionate and even hugged on each other many times,” they wrote.
Based on the photo they sent in, Thomas knows he was spotted because he was looking right in the camera. And the fan revealed he was livid about the photo.
“One things for sure he was pissssseeeeddd when he saw me take the picture, his face in the pic says it all! He cursed me out saying ‘That’s some disrespectful s***!!!’ Oh well, Mrs. Bailey needs to see what her loving husband is really up to anyways! I definitely want to see what his excuse will be this time! I wouldn’t be surprised if Cythia took him for all he got… How ever much that is!”
Interestingly enough, Thomas’s time in Charlotte, N.C. was a huge factor in his and Bailey’s split. Still, the two are legally separated and it’s not clear what the status of their relationship is. But what we do know is that in a recent video Thomas denied throwing shade at Bailey and called her his “wife.”

It’s a busy time for Xzibit (aka Alvin Joiner). The actor-producer-rapper has been promoted to series regular for Season 3 of Fox’s hit Empire following his guest starring role in Season 2. He also has been cast in a lead role opposite Michael Angarano in indie feature Sun Dogs.

In Empire, Xzibit plays Leslie “Shyne” Johnson, who is 100% wolf and 100% gangster. He has managed artists, started record imprints and even sold a few units here and there, but his bread and butter always has been — much to his years-long frustration — drugs, guns and extortion. Feeling shut out by the other heavy hitters in the music industry, he carries a big chip on his shoulder, especially for Lucious (Terrence Howard).
In Sun Dogs, Xzibit plays Staff Sgt. Jenkins. Melissa Benoist, Allison Janney and Ed O’Neill also star in the pic, the feature film directorial debut of Once Upon a Time star Jennifer Morrison that was penned by Anthony Tambakis (Warrior).
The film follows Ned Chipley (Angarano), a young misfit who always has wanted to be a hero, enthusiastically seeking to enlist with the Marines, only to be turned down each year. However, Staff Sgt Jenkins, a well-meaning, fatherly type, takes pity on Ned, offering him a “position” as a civilian watchdog.
Xzibit’s other feature credits include Werner Herzog’s Bad Lieutenant opposite Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes, Sony’s Gridiron Gang opposite Dwayne Johnson and xXx: State of the Union opposite Ice Cube and Samuel L. Jackson for Columbia. He also recurred on CBS’ Hawaii Five-O and starred in Nat Geo’s Emmy-nominated telefilm SEAL Team Six. He’s repped by Primary Wave and Don Buchwald & Associates.
Music News: Mariah Carey Performs “Touch My Body” For A Blindfolded John Legend In Las Vegas
John Legend got an unexpected surprise in Las Vegas this past weekend.
While attending Mariah Carey‘s “#1 to Infinity” show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday night, the pop diva invited Legend onstage for her performance of “Touch My Body.” But the new dad didn’t have to sing. Instead, he just laid down, blindfolded, on a bed, as Mariah gave him an intimate show.
However, if JL wasn’t blindfolded he might not have liked the situation as much. First, Mimi teased Legend with a pink feather before one of her male dancers gyrated above him! Then, the dancer got on top of the bed and ripped his tank top off while Mariah held John’s hand.

Hip Hop News: Troy Ave Dodges Murder Charge
Troy Ave is not charged with murder, according to TMZ.
This comes after the BSB rapper was indicted on multiple charges June 9 although the specific charges were not revealed.
Now, the website says that the indictment is based on five charges, all felonies. The charges are attempted second degree murder and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Troy Ave was arrested last month in the hospital for attempted murder after surveillance video showed him firing a gun outside a green room at Irving Plaza.
The May 25 shooting left three wounded, including Ave, who was shot in the leg. Ronald "Banga" McPhatter, the Major Without a Deal rapper's bodyguard, was killed. There was speculation that Ave killed McPhatter, especially after police matched a gun found in the van that transported him to the hospital to the murder weapon.
Ave, born Roland Collins, pleaded not guilty and his lawyers are saying he acted in self defense. He established a scholarship fund for students at the high school that he and Banga attended. Ave was denied bail and is sitting in Rikers Island.
TMZ says his lawyers will attempt to get him bail this week. Ave is set to appear in court Wednesday (June 22).

According to reports Prince's longtime lawyer and manager, L. Londell McMillan, along with Charles Koppelman, have been appointed to handle the musical assets.

As his Views album still holds it down at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Drake jetted away for a sunny vacation.

Kevin Hart, Chris Brown and Blac Chyna‘s home burglaries may all be connected, law enforcement sources tell TMZ. Scott Disick is another celeb that has been hit, and here are markers in all of the crimes that lead detectives to believe they are related.

Andrew Lloyd Webber: 'Nicole Scherzinger's Chances Of Returning To Broadway Are Slim to NONE'!
Andrew Lloyd Webber believes Broadway producers will shun Nicole Scherzinger after she pulled out of a New York production of CATS.
Nicole, 37, was in talks to reprise her role as Grizabella, whom she played in a 2014 production on London's West End, in a new version scheduled to open in the New York theatre district next month.
However the veteran theatre impresario, who recommended her to the show's producers, was left furious after she announced last month (May16) that she was dropping out to join the judging panel of U.K. TV talent contest The X Factor.
Ironically, her role in the musical has been taken by The X Factor's 2006 winner Leona Lewis.
Andrew, who composed the musical, now believes her decision to pull out may mean she is blackballed by Broadway producers who were sceptical about her casting.
"I had to fight to get her into the Broadway production," he tells British newspaper The Sun. "The American producers had not seen what she could do. She took them to the eleventh hour and everything was agreed with her manager, who has since resigned over this. He’s not representing her anymore."
He adds, "I just wanted her to be able to show the Broadway community how good she is. I hope she will get another opportunity, but the chances are not great, because it’s a very small world there."
Upon revealing she was dropping out of the show, which begins previews at Manhattan's Neil Simon Theatre on 14 July (16), Nicole told London's Evening Standard newspaper, "I had every intention of doing Cats on Broadway but the contract was never finalised."
She added, "I am incredibly blessed to be given so many amazing opportunities, including Cats, but unfortunately we weren’t able to make it work this time around... I adore and respect Andrew, I’m so grateful for our friendship and can’t wait for the opportunity to create more magic together."
However, Andrew was less than complimentary about the former Pussycat Dolls singer after she quit.
"I it makes me look like an absolute twot (sic) with them all (Cats' producers)," he told The Economist Radio podcast. "But never mind, there'll be another girl on Broadway and Nicole will not get her Tony Award."
After previews, Cats officially opens on Broadway on 31 July (16)
