Hugh Jackman covers Variety Magazine’s Latest Issue
Hollywood star and our favorite X-Men, Hugh Jackman is channeling his Greatest Showman character on the cover of Variety’s latest issue.
Speaking to the magazine, the Australian actor talks about what saying goodbye to his role as Wolverine was like, how he landed the role in the first place and how he turned down the opportunity to play James Bond.

On saying goodbye to Wolverine: I wish I’d started playing him like that 17 years ago. So there’s some sense of missed opportunity, but when I saw ‘Logan,’ I sat there and I did have tears in my eyes. The main feeling I had was: ‘There, that’s the character. I feel like I’ve done it now.’ And I was calm and at peace, but I’m going to miss that guy.
On why he stays in such good shape: People always say to me, ‘Why are you in such good shape?’ and I always answer, ‘If I told you that you were going to be on film on a 40-foot screen with your shirt off, you’d be in good shape too.’
On turning down James Bond: I was about to do ‘X-Men 2’ and a call came from my agent asking if I’d be interested in Bond. I just felt at the time that the scripts had become so unbelievable and crazy, and I felt like they needed to become grittier and real. And the response was: ‘Oh, you don’t get a say. You just have to sign on.’ I was also worried that between Bond and ‘X-Men,’ I’d never have time to do different things.”
#RHoA: Shereé Whitfield Finally Tells Her Kids About Their Father's Alleged Abuse: 'It Was Very Toxic'
It was an emotional night for Real Housewives of Atlanta star Shereé Whitfield on Sunday’s episode, as she sat down and opened up to her kids for the first time about the alleged abuse she received at the hands of their father, Bob Whitfield.
The somber scene happened at Chateau Shereé, where the 47-year-old reality star gathered with Kairo Whitfield, 21, Kaleigh Whitfield, 18, and her daughter from a previous relationship, Tierra Fuller, 32.
As fans remember, the abuse claims first came up last season on the hit Bravo show, when Bob —who was married to Shereé for 7 years and together with her for 14 years before their divorce in 2007 — joked about his alleged violent past with Shereé during a cast vacation in Maui, Hawaii.
“After we split, we were in Las Vegas,” Bob recounted. “I was driving her and she fell asleep, and I was like, ‘Yeah, it’d be easy for me to take the seatbelt off of you and hit the breaks.’ So she can fly her ass through the window, you know?”
He the said that he didn’t remember ever physically hurting Shereé in the past, asking “could you still breathe?” when she claimed he had choked her and telling her, “Maybe I didn’t choke you hard enough.”
It was a tough thing for Shereé to relive at the time. She later claimed during the Season 9 reunion part 2 that Bob was verbally and emotionally abusive throughout the relationship, and that the two had some “physical altercations.”
Still, despite being one of the RHOA‘s most outspoken and confident Housewives, Shereé stayed silent about her alleged abuse until the show — not even telling her own children. “I would have never talked about this had it not come up,” she told host Andy Cohen during last season’s reunion. “I suppressed it. I’ve not talked about it for 10 years. I’ve never talked about it. I wanted to protect my kids.”
All that changed on Sunday’s episode, though, when Shereé finally addressed the private turmoil she had been living in during their marriage to Bob with Kairo, Kaleigh and Fuller.
“I’m sure y’all are on the internet, y’all heard the story about the domestic violence in the household,” she told them, explaining why she had stayed silent for so long. “You know, I just kind of kept you guys away from, didn’t let you guys know what was going on . I just put on a happy face, but it was very toxic.”
For their part, Kairo, Kaleigh and Fuller all said they felt taken aback by the news when they first heart it.
“I was in shock,” said Fuller — Kairo echoing her surprise because his mother “never said anything about it.”
“Me and dad talked about it,” Kaleigh revealed. “He tried to explain the story to me, but I just drove off. It was after a soccer game, so I didn’t think it was appropriate.”
Shereé, who has since become an ambassador for the National Coalition of Domestic Violence, told her kids she never wanted them to look their father “differently.”
“I was worried about the image of their dad and I protected this man for all of this time,” she told audiences. “But he didn’t protect me.”
She then gave her kids some advice about how navigate similar situations in the future.
“You need to know that nobody deserves to be mistreated,” Shereé said. “You know, sometimes girls are thinking, ‘He hit me, he loves me.’ That’s not true. That’s not the way life should be. I don’t want you guys to follow my footsteps.”

Lucious is at Andre's bedside and promises that the old Lucious is back, and that the DuBois family will pay dearly: eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth and soul for a bloody soul. Pretty big talk for the man who has been a pussy cat all season.
Cookie has other plans. She doesn't trust Lucious to get the job done, so she plans to exact vengeance without his help.
Diana has a big event coming up known as the Captain's Ball. After all her duplicity, she's taking every precaution to make sure the Lyons don't screw up her event. This includes employing a sizable security detail.
Angelo doesn't think it's a wise idea to move ahead with the ball, given they are at war with the Lyons, but after last year's debacle, Diana is determined for the DuBois family to differentiate and distinguish themselves. She wants everyone to know who they are. It doesn't take a genius to figure out Diana's hubris will be her downfall. At least Angelo has the brains to be worried.
Eddie's tenure at Empire Entertainment comes to an end, so Cookie throws him a farewell party. He's almost finished with Tatiana's album, and with Lucious back, Eddie doesn't want to overstay his welcome (woeful under-use of Forest Whitaker). Cookie isn't convinced Lucious is back and voices her doubts to Eddie.
After the party, Cookie holds a strategy session with Lucious, Jamal, Hakeem and Thirsty. She offers Lucious back his throne, but he knows Cookie has earned that seat and lets the queen have it.
Everybody is curious what Cookie has planned. Thirsty has been doing his homework, and he knows the security Diana has hired for the ball is no joke. All the employees have been vetted, and Thirsty assures Cookie that the venue is locked as tight as a virgin. Lucious has an idea, and it involves what the Lyons do best. Music is going to get them in.

Congratulations to Cardi B! The 25-year-old rapper is making history among female rappers. Reportedly, she’s the first female MC to send her first three entries on the Billboard Hot 100 to the top 10.
On the newest Hot 100 (dated Dec. 30), Cardi B’s third Hot 100 entry, “MotorSport,” with Migos and Nicki Minaj, moves up from No. 15 to No. 6, following the first full week of tracking after its official video arrived Dec. 7.
The collab zooms 9-5 on the Streaming Songs chart, up 40 percent to 31.7 million U.S. streams, according to Nielsen Music; 43-25 on Digital Song Sales (15,000 downloads sold, up 44 percent), as it posts the Hot 100’s top gains in streaming and sales; and 37-34 on Radio Songs (35 million in airplay audience, up 10 percent).
“MotorSport” follows G-Eazy’s “No Limit,” featuring A$AP Rocky and Cardi B, at No. 10 this week after reaching No. 7, and Cardi B’s former three-week debut No. 1, “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” (at No. 11).
'This Is Us' Winter Premiere Features a Long-Awaited Reunion!
Holidays are a time for family, and even if you can’t stand your own, some new photos from This Is Us will allow you to live vicariously through the Pearsons.

Janet Jackson celebrated the end of the US leg of her “State of the World” tour at a private bash at STK Atlanta with her producer ex, Jermaine Dupri.
“They arrived together right after the show. He was dressed in a long hooded cloak. It seemed like he was trying to fly under the radar,” a spy told us.
We’re told the divorcing singer and Dupri spent the evening together seated in the VIP area. Another witness said Jackson was in high spirits and was “thrilled the restaurant made vegan options for her. She was super friendly, saying hi to everyone.’
Cute but honestly I don’t see anything here. I personally don’t think they’ll be getting back as a couple!
Your First Look At ‘Ocean’s 8 ‘Trailer with Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, And The Girls!
Warner Bros. unveiled the highly anticipated official trailer for “Ocean’s 8” on Tuesday morning.
Sandra Bullock stars as Debbie Ocean, the estranged sister of Danny Ocean (played by George Clooney in the previous three “Ocean’s” films), in the female-led heist comedy. The movie centers on Debbie’s attempt to pull off the heist of the century at New York City’s annual Met Gala. The star-studded cast is also comprised of Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, and Awkwafina.
The trailer opens with Bullock in an orange prison jumpsuit at a parole hearing and promising to pursue “the simple life” if she’s released. We then see the star meet with her would-be counterparts in a planned $150 million jewel heist. “Why do you have to do this?” Blanchett’s character asks Bullock’s Ocean. “Because it’s what I’m good at,” Ocean responds.

Mindy Kaling Gives Birth to Baby Girl
Actress and Mindy Project star Mindy Kaling gave birth to a baby girl, Katherine Kaling, on December 15, E! News reports. This is Kaling’s first child.
Oprah, who stars with Kaling in her new movie, A Wrinkle in Time, first revealed that Kaling was pregnant in July, and the actress confirmed the news a month later.
Kaling has remained private about her pregnancy, and still hasn’t identified the baby’s father. But she has admitted that she’s “really excited,” and said she’s looking forward to making guilt-free commentary about parenting.
“It’s so easy to criticize parenting until you’re a parent,” she told the Today Show in August. “So one of the nice things about becoming a parent is that I’ll be able to openly criticize other parenting because I will have a child.”
