The Obamas hosted a state dinner at the White House in Washington, DC on Friday (September 25) for Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan.

Giving a nod to her guests, Michelle Obama made a stunning entrance onto the red carpet wearing a custom black mermaid gown featuring a rather sexy v neckline and tulle sleeve accents by Chinese-American designer Vera Wang.

I Love it this took my breath-away.

From the being perfectly tailored to contour the body, the enchanting design and the longer tousled waves, I love that Michelle is serving up old Hollywood glamour here.

NBC Is CONSIDERING A LIVE REMAKE Of The Wiz?!?

TV's next live musical event could be The Wiz. Let us explain....remember NBC's live remakes of Peter Pan and The Sound of Music?  Since they were pretty big ratings hits, despite the remakes being quite terrible, NBC would like the spin the wheel again. 

Now NBC's entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt says 1957’s The Music Man will be the network’s next live musical. What's The Music Man? You might know The Music Man through its two most famous incarnations: The Wizard of Oz and The Wiz.

Since NBC has optioned the rights to both musicals, we're not sure which version might hit the screen but we're leaning towards The Wiz and some of our favorite talent.  Only IF they do Diana Ross, Michael Jackson and the rest of the cast and movie jusice.

Well who's going to deliver a knockout 2015 version of "Home" (originally sang by Stephanie Mills).

The “Bootylicious” babe and her Destiny’s Child cohorts Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson all appear in a music video for Houston rapper Lil’ O back in the 90s.

Funk Master Flex Comes For Jay Z, Says He Can Ruin Him

Flex is on another one of his rants, this time the target is Jay Z?? Doesn’t seem like a fair fight, but ok…lets see how this plays out. Flex began his rant with dissing Jay Z’s website LifeandTimes….

What sparked the rant was an email he received from a LifeandTimes writer to discuss his role in the Dipset reunion. However, Flex took the email  only as an insult -claims he is awake- doesn’t need anyone for anything….Flex started dropping his bombs and saying how dope he is in the digital media game, insisting throughout the rant not to play with him, speaking to Jay Z (subliminally of course). He also mentioned the old news of him not being allowed to play any music from Dipset at the Atlantic City 40/40 club.

“Let me be clear, because I read through everything in that email that was sent to me, I don’t care about your website,” he said. “Your website’s trash. Y’all can’t move with me in this digital space. Maybe if y’all copied everything I was doing with the app, your app wouldn’t have crashed the day your album dropped. Don’t play with me. I didn’t take no sides in that situation. Play me like I’m stupid and you’re gonna see a different kind of dude firing off on you. I let you live in this town, don’t think I can’t ruin you.”

STL Cops Admittingly Beat Down Wrong Black Man Following

The STL Cops probably edge the NYPD as the most hated law enforcement in the nation on most days. Their St. Louis County counterparts have done the stigma no favors after they mistakenly–and admittingly–give a 22-year-old college student an assault he’ll never forget.

Reports KMOV:

St. Ann Police apologized to a college student after they admitted to causing severe injuries to his face after accusing him of a crime he didn’t commit on Thursday.

Police were in pursuit of Anton Simmons, who had 17 warrants our for his name, when 22-year-old Joseph Swink crashed his car trying to avoid the police pursuit on Interstate 70.

“They ended up grabbing him [Swink], tossing him to the ground, and were trying to handcuff him,” said St. Ann Police Chief Aaron Jimenez. “All the sirens and lights were going off. It was very loud and they couldn’t hear anything the citizen was saying.”

Swink is an accounting student at UMSL with no criminal record and was on his way home from an internship when he was accidentally involved in the pursuit.

Police say they were able to get him into custody using the least amount of force necessary, but when they finally had him in handcuffs on the ground, they heard on their radios that the real suspect was in custody at a different location.

Swink suffered severe damage to his ear and his vehicle was totaled.

“I never really had 100 percent trust in police before,” Swink said. “But I really don’t now.”

The St. Ann Police Department are anticipating Swink’s lawsuit any day now.

Last year Wiz and Amber Rose suddenly split , after the rapper allegedly cheated on his wife with several different females. We don’t hear a lot about their break up or divorce – however Wiz has been seen with several different women since the split.  Earlier today Amber Rose told a fan on instagram that she wants her husband back,

After posting a selfie, a fan commented “you should get back with wiz!” Amber replied “I want to.”

That made us troll through Wiz’s Instagram and noticed the rapper has been wearing his wedding ring?? We like these two, hopefully they can fix their relationship and work things out.

Fighting at a Concert for PEACE?  August Alsina INVOLVED In Backstage Brawl At St. Louis "State Of Emergency 2" Concert

“I Luv This Sh*t” singer August Alsina was involved in a backstage brawl on Saturday and it was all caught on tape!

Here's what went down....August was set to hit the stage at Chaifetz Area for the State Of Emergency 2 concert. The event itself was set up to benefit the St. Louis Put Down the Pistol program (an anti-gun initiative). But backstage.....it was NOT anti-violent.

Spies report that August and his crew got into it backstage with the show's promoter, Loose Cannon Slim, because August allegedly showed up late.

In the clip, you'll see words exchanged and then there's shoving, pushing and a few punches thrown. It doesn't look like any punches connected with August, as his security team did their best to keep him out of trouble.

But August tried it.....you'll see him attempting to jump into the brawl.  And Fabolous was there too.....holding a cocktail...NOT fighting Well....at least no guns were involved.

DAY OF SERVICE: President Barack Obama & First Lady Michelle Obama Honor Martin Luther King Jr. At the Boys & Girls Club In DC

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Day of Service, President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and their daughter Malia Obama (not pictured) participated in a community service event at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, DC.

The First Family assisted a few kiddies in creating mural paintings and assembling literacy kits that will reinforce and enhance reading and writing skills. They were joined by Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett, Assistant to the President and Cabinet Secretary Broderick Johnson and CNCS CEO Wendy Spencer (not pictured).

Commemorating Dr King’s birthday on the national day of service, President O issued a proclamation encouraging all Americans to honor his legacy through their own community service activities.

New Music: LeToya Luckett – “Together”

After releasing new music entitled “I’m Ready” earlier this month, LeToya Luckett‘s back with another song, “Together.” On this one, the R&B songstress is using her voice to encourage change.

In a message she posted along with the link to the track, she wrote:

Michelle Obama Covers Ladies' Home Journal September 2012

With the Presidential election quickly approaching, First Lady Michelle Obama took time from her demanding schedule to appear on the cover of Ladies Home Journal.

The First Lady was joined by her U.S. Commander-In-Chief husband Barack Obama for the magazine sitdown in which the power couple talk about women in leadership roles and what makes people so eager to listen Michelle.

Set to hit newsstands on Friday, August 10th, a few highlights from Barack and Michelle Obama's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Ladies' Home Journal!

On how can we get more women to be leaders:

Michelle Obama: "We have to start with them while they’re young and instill in girls a sense of confidence. That’s why sports are so important. They teach you how to compete — how to fall down and get back up. And there are organizations like the Girl Scouts: They nurture self-confidence and give girls the chance to practice being in charge. We’ve got to give young women the opportunities to be leaders.”

President Obama: ”It’s easier for boys to imagine themselves being President. They see themselves as being in charge. Girls are socialized to think about other people more. I want Malia and Sasha to feel confident about expressing their opinions. And if they’re good at something I want them to have the confidence to step up and shine. I don’t want them to lose their empathy and stop thinking about other people, because that’s an important part of leadership, too. But I don’t want them to be wallflowers.”

Michelle Obama: "We talk about this a lot, obviously. But it's not just about what we want for our girls...we also think about the girls who grew up like we grew up: in working-class neighborhoods where they didn't have sports programs. Or in a single-parent home. They need to be encouraged, too. Choices and options shouldn't be limited to..."

President Obama: "...folks of a certain income bracket."

On if he thinks we are missing out by not having more women in office:

President Obama: "I think voters are hungry for women's leadership. I think they recognize that women oftentimes have a more well rounded view of what American families are going through. I think they trust women candidates, and women leaders, to do the right thing, as opposed to being in it because of blind ambition. My hope is that each successive generation sees more and more women taking the risk."

On what is it about his wife that makes people sit up and listen to her?:

President Obama: "Well, she's very smart. She's a wonderful speaker. She's very cute."

Michelle Obama: "Thanks for this question. I wanted to see what he had to say [laughs]."

President Obama: "Having said all those things, the quality I love most about her is, she's honest and genuine. I think that comes across to people. They get a sense that they can trust her. You know, the word "authenticity" is overused these days. But I do think it captures what folks are looking for -- not just in leaders, but also in friends and in coworkers -- and that is, folks who are on the level. People like that tell you what they think and don't have a bunch of hidden motives. That's who Michelle is. She's also funny. She's the funniest person in our family."

Stevie Wonder Files For Divorce From Wife

Music legend Stevie Wonder is asking a judge to sign, seal and deliver a divorce. The Motown megastar has filed papers to end his decade-long marriage to fashion designer Kai Millard Morris. The couple have been separated since October 2009, the paperwork states. Stevie, cited irreconcilable differences and signed the documents July 26th with two fingerprints.

Stevie and Kai married in 2001 and they have two children together: Kailand, 10, and Mandla, 7. Stevie is requesting joint custody of the couple’s two kids. He was married once before, to Motown singer Syreeta Wright, and has seven children in total.

Bow Wow and His DEADBEAT Dad go at it in the MEDIA!

First the tweets surfaced alleging that Bow Wow is a deadbeat dad, Now the open letter fromow’s father, Alfonso Moss, now Bow Wow Responds. Since he claims to have no other way to reach out to his child, he decided to pen this open letter ironically asking Bow Wow to stop throwing his name in the dirt, despite being the one who is airing their dirty laundry on his blog. Here’s what Alsonso had to say,

I guess the only way you want to communicate with me is through the media. I recently read your article in Vibe and I felt like I needed to contact you.
First off, I want you to know how happy and proud I am of you and your success. I was also blessed that your mother and step-father did an excellent job of raising you to the man you are today. I am NOT a junkie, but I am an alcoholic. I have been struggling with this disease my entire adult life and I am sad to say that it has really messed our relationship up. But the picture you paint of me in the media is not right.

I am hurt that you would call your sisters out of their name. Did you realize that they were acting off of the video you put out first? You said you were upset for them lying and spreading family business. Do you realize that you put family business out there FIRST when you put our conversation on video for the world to see? If your sisters were lying, then they were not putting family business out there. If they were actually putting family business out there in the streets, then they were not lying, so which one is it? Were your sisters lying or putting family business in the streets?

I am concerned and worried about you. I am not sure if you know this or not, but Alcoholism runs on both sides of your family. Both of your grandfathers and me have struggled with the disease. Please be careful and be mindful so that you will not succumb to this disease that is in your genes. I have went to several alcoholic programs and tried to get this thing under control, but nothing has seemed to work for me. This is something that I am struggling with day to day.

I will be honest and tell you that I was offered to do a reality show, Celebrity Dad’s with Regrets. I wanted to do the show in order to rebuild our relationship. When we spoke on the phone last labor day weekend, I had a video camera on me as well. I did NOT have you on speaker phone, because I still wanted some sort of privacy with our conversation. Once we got off the phone and I had time to think, I realized that the thought of our relationship being rebuilt was far greater than any dollar amount for a TV show. I did sign the contract to do the show, but I backed out of the deal when I saw hopes of us reuniting and I didn’t want a reality show or money to get in the way of our father and son relationship. I am posting the video of my side of the conversation, so the world can see the TRUTH. That we had a good conversation and it was a happy moment for both of us and not the dark picture you painted. Lots of laughs and joking. Not you yelling at me “ARE YOU CLEAN?”

I have also had people approach me to give interviews, talking about my past and your mother’s past, but I declined, even when offered money. I am not that type of person. Everyone has a past and I am not that type of man to tell someone else’s dirt for a dollar.

I had seen in an interview where you said that I sent you a letter and misspelled your name. Did you know that I named you and how I came up with your name? You know I am a big sports fan. I really liked the name Ahmad Rashad, well really just Rashad. But you know me, I have to put my own spin on it and took the “Ra” off and just left “Shad” for your name. Not only did I name you, I was there when you were born and signed your birth certificate. I hate that you make it seem as if I was never around at all.

You also need to know that there were times were things were not so smooth while your mother and I were living together. Even when dealing with my alcoholism I made sure we had a place to stay. My family loved me and helped me with all my flaws. We were evicted and had to live with my family members and my family sent us money in order for us to get back on our feet.

Shad, I never asked you for anything, but I am asking for one thing now. Can you please stop throwing me under the bus and talking bad about me? I may be an alcoholic, but I never physically abused you. Keyshia Cole tried to help her Mother. Tyler Perry takes care of his family financially and he was sexually abused by some of them. All I am asking is that you stop dragging my name in the mud.

Drake Is Producing Aaliyah’s New Album And Timbaland Says “Without Him & Missy’s The Album Would Be Whack”!!!

Drake’s obsession with late R&B singer Aaliyah is no secret, with the waffle toned rapper reportedly recruited to executive produce her next album – but now producer Timbaland has claimed that project wouldn’t be right without himself and Missy Elliot.

During an interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, Timbaland claimed that Drake’s upcoming project would be wack without input from himself or Missy Elliot, who were close to the singer.
”I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he do it, it should be with me and Missy. The proper way for him to do that would be me, him and Missy to be all on the record. But to put it on his record, would just not be right.”

With Drake’s minimal production experience, should the YMCMB star reconsider his options and include Aaliyah’s longtime collaborators Timbaland and Missy, both of whom have produced several hits and were extremely close to the late great singer?

Timbaland Reportedly Working on Postumous Album W/ Drake

I know that people have been having  mixed feelings about Drake taking on an Aaliyah album but am now BET is reporting that Timbaland will reportedly be involved in the upcoming “Posthumous” Aaliyah album. I don’t know how the entire project will go but it seems only right that you involve Timbaland and/or Missy working on this album. This is news that should provide some solace to fans who were upset by the new Aaliyah song released late Sunday by Drake and his producer Noah “40″ Shebib.

Drake is working with Aaliyah’s record label Blackground Records as executive producer of the new album, news that crystallized for the public soon after Sunday’s release of “Enough Said,” on which he is featured with the late chanteuse.

Miss Info cites a confidential source close to the project who says Timbo has so far produced two songs for it, with much of the rest being handled by Shebib.

Informed in April of Drizzy’s plan to take on the project, Timbaland was clear that there is a right way and a wrong way to go about it:

“I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if [Drake] do it, it should be with me and him, and Missy,” he said. “I don’t know what’s going on. The proper way to do that would be for me, him and Missy to be all on the record. For it to be on his record, that would not be right.”

Missy has yet to comment on the situation and her involvement in the project is unclear.

Sad News: Man Shoots Wife While She’s In ICU

If you get married and don’t like your spouse anymore, please just get a divorce.

Barbra Wise in Ohio is in critical condition after her husband came into the ICU where she was recovering and shot her.
Ohio police say a 66-year-old man entered the intensive care unit of Akron General Medical Center and shot his 65-year-old wife while standing at her bedside.

The hospital is unable to tell the public why she was already in the hospital.
Akron police told The Associated Press early Sunday that the woman has DIED and that the husband has been charged with murder.

Police say John Wise, of Massillon, entered the hospital shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday and went to see his wife, Barbara, in the intensive care unit, where she had been admitted a few days earlier. Authorities say Wise pulled out a handgun and shot his wife of 45 years.

Hospital spokesman Jim Gosky says one shot was fired.
What in the world could have been the motive for this craziness?? And is it that easy to get into the hospital with a loaded handgun? Maybe all of these crazy shootings will get them to change the gun laws in this country.

Janet Jackson Says It's Not About the Money

Janet Jackson's lawyers have released a statement on behalf of Janet, Randy and Rebbie Jackson insisting money is not the motivating factor behind their wish to oust the current executors of Michael Jackson's estate...
The letter makes it clear that Janet, Randy nor Rebbie stand to make any financial gain by contesting the will. The main concern is the welfare of Michael Jackson's children and validity of the will. The siblings want an explanation for how Michael Jackson could have signed his will in California when there is indisputable proof that he was in New York at the time.
The letter ends by promising that Janet, Randy and Rebbie will continue to press forward in their search for the truth in order to carry out the wishes of their brother Michael.

Jennifer Lopez Threatens to Sue Over Gay Rumors

Jennifer Lopez is threatening to sue two tabloid magazines for reporting that her toy boy lover was caught entering a gay massage parlor.
Jennifer Lopez is reportedly taking legal action over reports her backing dancer and boyfriend Casper Smart was ''caught'' in a ''gay sex club'' and an exotic massage parlour.
The couple is threatening to sue after claiming the stories are completely untrue.
Their high-powered attorneys, Shawn Holley and Howard Weitzman, have teamed up and allegedly sent letters to American publications Star Magazine and In Touch, warning them the ''reports'' are ''false, malicious and defamatory'' and will cause ''immense damage'' to the couple's careers and reputations.
The reports include photographs of Casper outside a XXX peep show in New York City in July, Star magazine claims the shop is a ''well-known cruising spot for gay men looking for instant hookups.''
In Touch magazine claims Casper was ''caught'' with an ''exotic masseuse'' at Hell's Kitchen - which he is said to have visited for 10 minutes - the day before he helped host Jennifer's 43rd birthday.

In their letters, the lawyers have each demanded the magazines print a full retraction, warning Casper and Jennifer will ''immediately file a lawsuit'' if the magazines fail to do so.

A few weeks ago, the 37-year-old beauty spoke with "Extra" and explained her support for the President. Rick Ross "God Forgives, I Don't" First Week Sales Projections

Rick Ross eyes a No. 1 debut for his latest album.
The first-week sales projection has been revealed for Rick Ross' fifth studio album God Forgives, I Don't, released yesterday via Def Jam.
According to HDD (via HHNM), Ricky Rozay's latest offering is slated to sell between 200,000 and 220,000 copies in its first week. The sales puts the album on track for a No. 1 debut. The project features the singles "3 Kings" featuring Dr. Dre and Jay-Z, as well as "Touch'N You" featuring Usher, "Hold Me Back" and "So Sophisticated" featuring Meek Mill.

Ross' last album, 2010's Teflon Don, bowed at No. 2 on the charts with 176,300 copies sold. It marked his first album that failed to enter at the top of the chart.
