After celebrating with “Kandiland” theme baby shower with few of her friends over the weekend, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss was thrown a 2nd baby shower by her co-stars.
The “RHOA” ladies including Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Sheree Whitfield, Porsha Williams and Marlo Hampton along with Altanta Hawks in-game host Shamea Morton, who will also appear on this season, came together for another round of baby bump fun. We’ve known Alicia Keys would be guest starring on “Empire” since the announcement was made this summer. And now, we have the first look and a few deets about her character.
A. Keys shared a picture of her character Skye Summers whom we will meet on next week’s episode. With the purple tresses and bedazzled dress, our guess is she will be some type of performer on the hip hopera series. Hmm...wonder what Lee Daniels and the Empire writers have come up with for Skye. Y'all know it's going to be something super dramatic. We will soon find out when she makes her debut Wednesday, November 25th.

David Beckham has been sexy for as long as we can remember — so it’s perfectly fitting that he has been named People’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ for 2015.

Naomi Campbell has teamed up with Italian brand Yamamay for an exclusive, limited-edition collection of lingerie, which includes bras, panties, slips and camisoles priced between $32 and $65. The supermodel also stars in the ads for the “IamNaomiCampbell” collection, which was shot my famed fashion photographer Mario Testino.
According to WWD, the range will boast “a nocturnal color palette, including black and purple, and enriched with precious decors.” As of now, Campbell’s collection is available on Yamamay’s website, which does not ship to the U.S.
Campbell’s entry into the lingerie world seems overdue, as fashionista.com notes, other supermodels such as Helena Christensen, Gisele Bündchen, Heidi Klum, Bar Rafaeli and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley already have their own lines or have collaborated with established brands.
The “IamNaomiCampbell” collection features lingerie sets with such fierce names as “Supervillain” and “Magnificent.” Of course, as you admire Campbell’s flawless form in these ads, it’s no wonder lingerie brands like Agent-Provocateur and La Perla have hired her for campaigns.
Meanwhile, Campbell, who has been at the top of her game for nearly 30 years, has also turned her hand to acting – with roles in “Empire” and “American Horror Story: Hotel” as Vogue editor Claudia Bankson.
In a interview with The Independent, Campbell revealed that she landed the role of Claudia partly because of Anna Wintour – the infamous editor-in-chief of U.S. Vogue.
“She sat me next to [series co-creator] Ryan [Murphy] at a dinner party, so I should really thank her,” said Campbell who also plays Camilla Marks on “Empire.”
Murphy recalled that meeting with Campbell during a chat with Entertainment Weekly. “I was at a dinner party, and I sat next to Naomi Campbell, and obviously I’ve always loved her,” Murphy shared. “I said, ‘We’re writing this episode and do you wanna come on the show and play something extreme?'”
“She was very excited about her upcoming moments that she has that push the boundaries,” Murphy added. “So I said, ‘Great.’ I offered it to her and she accepted. She’s very professional.”

Malcolm D.Lee’s Barbershop 3 has a new name and release date. According to Stephanie Frederic, the Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist and executive producer who caught up with Malcolm D. Lee at The Governors Awards Saturday Nov 14, 2015, Lee tells Stephanie Frederic the new title for the sequel film is “Barbershop – The Next Cut” no longer titled Barbershop3 as previously reported. Lee also said the movie will hit theaters in April 2016!!!
The first two films for Barbershop grossed $75 million domestic in 2002 and the 2004 sequel grossed $65 million domestic. Inside, she dishes on her balancing act of staying fit and spending time with her family. She says she works out early to get home to her husband, former pro football player Nnamdi Asomugha, and their 17-month-old daughter, Isabelle.
“I try to get it in so I can be back with my kid early,” she says. “I have to take care of myself in order to live life the way I want to. It’s important to have rest days. But in the long run, if I don’t work out for, like, three days, I feel worse, not better.”
In discussing why she prefers pilates over other types of workouts, she explains: “There are a lot of forms of exercise where you have to leave yourself out of the room while you force yourself to do this thing,” she says. “With pilates, I get to bring my true self. I cry, I laugh. I get to go: Where is my body today? What do I need today? How can I take care of myself and push myself past my comfort zone? How can I be both loving and challenging?”

Queen Latifah Shuts Down Speculation About Her Sexuality: I know what I’m doing in my private life.
In Queen Latifah’s new interview with Variety, the 45-year-old rapper-turned-actor-turned-TV host-turned mogul, opens up about the beginning of her career (with incite from actor Michael K. Williams, BET’s Debra Lee and business partner), taking on Bessie and the non-stop speculation about her sexuality. See a few excerpts below.
From the very beginning of her career, expanding beyond music:
I felt like if I couldn’t say I was the best rapper — male or female — I wouldn’t put all my eggs in one basket. So it was always about trying to expand from the beginning, be it musically, business-wise, or other opportunities.
The resistance she received in the 90’s for being a rapper, transitioning to acting:
Actors did not like it. A lot of them talked a lot of smack (at the time) about rappers coming in and taking all the gigs.
Being able to connect with the life of Bessie Smith:
I could relate to crawling up out of a bottle. I could relate to being depressed. I could connect to a lot of different experiences that she had, whether it was loneliness, whether it was being hugely successful, (experiencing) heartbreak, love, being in different relationships, being in more than one relationship at one time. All these things made sense to me.
Taking on a bi-sexual role in Bessie:
I know what I’m doing in my private life, and I know what I’m not, and I know me. And people who are not privy to that don’t know; they don’t know what they think they know. This is Bessie’s story. It has nothing to do with my life…..There’s a difference for me between being honest and sharing my business with people who don’t need to know my business. So why would I start doing anything differently now because of ‘Bessie’?
Why she feels there’s so much speculation about sexuality:
I think it’s human nature. People have curiosity about people’s sexuality, because we’re curious about sex. I think the problem is we don’t talk about it enough. We act like sex is bad sometimes. We act like love is bad sometimes, or makes you weak somehow.
Avoiding the scrutiny of tabloids:
At some point I told all my friends, ‘Don’t come to me with negative stuff in a magazine’. Let them write whatever they want to write. I can’t control it.
Where she draws the line with the media/tabloids:
Don’t write about her family. Then I’m ready to not only sue you, but put a knuckle sandwich in your mouth. That’s where my Jersey roots come out!

A woman should be able to wear whatever style of dress makes her feel sexy and confident. Well, according to Patrick Couderc that’s not true. Couderc is the U.K. managing director of Herve Leger and he believes that not all women should wear the brand’s popular, skin-tight bandage dresses. Recently, he caused controversy and outrage when he advised voluptuous women to stray away from the figure-hugging dresses.
He told the Daily Mail newspaper on Sunday that women with “voluptuous” figures, i.e., those with “very prominent hips” and “committed lesbians” should avoid wearing the popular bandage dress.
He went on to say, “You women have a lot of problems. You will lose the plot. You will come and you will put a dress on and you’ll be in front of the mirror, like, ‘Argh, I’m so fat.’ ”
Regardless of Couderc’s crude remarks and unwanted advice, we feel women of all sizes are fabulous and should continue wearing what they choose. Body-con dresses have been popular for decades and have been worn by numerous curvy celebrities.
Jennifer Hudson & Her Family Host The 5th Annual Hatch Day!
Happy Hatch Day! Actually.....it was last Friday, but we think the life of little Julian King is worthy of a celebration every day.
If you're a Jennifer Hudson fan, you know Hatch Day was create a few years ago in loving memory of Jen's nephew, who was murdered by his stepfather William Balfour. As you'll recall, William also took the lives of Jen's mom and and brother too.
On a happier note....Hatch Day is a day to celebrate life (Julian's birthday) and give back to the community! And Jen, his sister Julia (Julian's mom) his son David Jr. and her beau David Sr. were all there.
The 2015 Hatch Day Celebration, on behalf of the Julian D. King Gift Foundation, was held at the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center and tons of school supplies were passed out.
In a statement, Jen (shown above an executive from Staples) spoke about the event saying, “It is so important for the children of our community to know we are here to help any way we can. That can make all the difference. We know that by providing these essentials, we’re helping to prepare the next generation of Chicago to grow in a more positive environment and work toward a more exciting future.”
We see Jennifer Hudson a lot....because she's ALWAYS booked. But we don't see David Sr. around as much. However, we can report that he's still in the picture!! And he's supporting Jen and her good works!

Rosie O’Donnell teenage daughter was missing, Chelsea left home with her therapy dog called Bear. She was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, ripped, dark-blue jeans, Converse sneakers and a backpack.
Chelsea stopped taking her medicine before her disappearance, according to Berger. Well thankfully Chelsea O’Donnell daughter has been found!!
O’Donnell, who earlier Tuesday had announced Chelsea’s disappearance via her website, tweeted later Tuesday that her daughter had been located.
“Chelsea has been found and is safe in police custody – thank u all for the help and light #missingchildren,” O’Donnell wrote.
