#OH?, Shamea Morton is Speaking Out After Eva Marcille Calls Her ‘Homophobic’! π²π
Shamea Morton is addressing claims that she is homophobic by Eva Marcille. Eva took to social media calling her homophobic or homophobic ‘LITE’. On Sunday night’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shamea asked Eva if she ever dated singer Missy Elliott. See the clip.
In response to the question about Eva’s sexuality, the America’s Next Top model alum tweeted the following:
Shamea spoken to the blog site The Jasmine Brand telling them that she’s far from homophobic and her comments to Eva were not digs at the LGBTQ community. She explains: I am far from homophobic I have people in my family that are both lesbian and gay. So it saddens me to hear her come to that conclusion from me simply asking her about her sexuality. It’s unfortunate that some people just can’t stand behind their truth. They feel its deemed deviant or looked down upon. We are ok to love who we love. I just felt Eva wasn’t doing that. I could’ve asked her in a nicer/ more pleasant way but I was definitely not taking digs at the LGBTQ community. I am constantly working close with people from the LGBTQ community and I will continue to be an advocate for human rights!
A close associate of Shamea’s has also said: I can personally attest to Shamea’s character as well as her genuine love, support, and dedicated friendships and relationships within the LGBTQ community. Shamea and I have not only worked closely together in professional settings, but we have also built an amazing friendship and trust for one another over the years. The fact that anyone would ever attempt to falsely and indirectly imply that Shamea is homophobic is not only deplorable, but also extremely careless and refutable.
Shamea has never exemplified any discriminatory prejudice, violence, or irrational fear towards anyone that may identify as non-heterosexual. Many of her very close personal and professional relationships encompass and revolve around the LGBTQ community. She is one of, if not the most accepting and genuine people I have ever encountered; almost to a fault where she wears her heart on her sleeve. Shamea’s constant love and support for myself and other members of the LGBTQ community is absolutely undeniable. Any duplicitous attempt to attach such a bogus narrative of homophobia to her character is pathetic, unsupported and sadly dangerous. There are authentic conversations that we should be having regarding actual instances of sexual prejudice, but this is simply not one of them.
What are your thoughts about Shamea questioning Eva?

The #RHOA Georgia Peach is officially a Mrs.

Shamea and Gerald, who is originally from Kenya, partied with their wedding guests in a reception held on Mount Kenya. Shamea's RHOA pal Kandi Burruss captured all of the "#FunTimes" at Shamea's wedding on Instagram.
Shamea also told The Daily Dish that she and Gerald planned to make a home in Atlanta following their big day. "He and his siblings came to the States for college. So he’s been in the States right before his 18th birthday, and he’s like, 'No, I never want to leave Atlanta,'" Shamea said. "That’s where all my family is, and he has all his friends here, and we just have a really great life in Atlanta. That’s where we want to raise our kids, and this is home for us."

EMPIRE; See ‘Empire’ Co-Creator Danny Strong’s New Film ‘Rebel in The Rye’
As literary declarations go, “Holden Caulfield deserves an entire book” sounds like one of the safer bets, but as this trailer for IFC Films’ upcoming Rebel in the Rye suggests, the sentiment wasn’t exactly a universal one when the young, untried author J.D. Salinger began his road to a masterpiece.
Rebel in the Rye, directed by Danny Strong and starring Nicholas Hoult as Salinger, chronicles The Catcher in the Rye author’s literary beginnings and the inspirations behind the novel and its phony-hating main character Holden. Says IFC, “the film sheds light on the events that shaped the young author, and some of the influential people who he meets in his pursuit of success – namely his mentor Whit Burnett.”
Burnett is played by Kevin Spacey, and he’s the one who suggests turning Holden’s tale from short story to novel.

The trailer also flashes back to Salinger’s wartime experiences, and the disapproval he later faced from his doubting father (Victor Garber). Also starring are Sarah Paulson, Zoey Deutch and Hope Davis.
Strong directs from his own script, and Rebel in the Rye is produced by Bruce Cohen, Jason Shuman, Danny Strong, Molly Smith, Thad Luckinbill and Trent Luckinbill.
IFC releases Rebel in the Rye September 15, 2017.
Ol’ Skool flashback: Teddy Riley & Tammy Lucas – Is It Good To You
Seemingly from the start of his career, Teddy Riley began working with the talented singer Tammy Lucas. She’d begin writing and providing backing vocals to songs he’d produce, but that work culminated with the song “Is It Good To You” from 1991.
The original version of the song was included as part of the star studded “Juice” soundtrack. The project is considered one of the greatest soundtracks of all time and includes artists like Naughty by Nature, Eric B & Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Aaron Hall, EPMD and much more.
Lets go back and Listen to ‘Is It Good To You’ HERE
As for Tammy Lucas, you might be wondering what she’s been up to in recent years. Our friends over at ‘You Know I Got Soul’ caught up with the singer for a pretty extensive interview last year, giving them the background on her career. She mentioned her start working with Teddy Riley:
We did a few things and Guy was just getting started. I did some of the vocals on the first Guy album. We did a bunch of stuff together. We did something with J.T. from Kool and the Gang. Teddy was getting a lot of work and that was before Virginia Beach. Then we took a little break from each other and then he had the Michael Jackson thing. He called me onto that and we went down to LA and we met Michael Jackson and the engineer Mr. Swedien. We got a lot of open tracks. Teddy and Michael were working on his album and there were a million different tracks. They gave us a lot of open tracks. “Remember the Time” was one and “Joy” was another one. I’m not sure what the other one was, but I took the stuff back in my little cocoon. I wrote “Joy” and Bernard Belle wrote “Remember The Time”. We co-wrote those with Teddy and Michael Jackson. That’s something I’m really proud of. “Joy” didn’t make the “Dangerous” album and then Blackstreet recorded it years later and I think it was a number one song.
Nice

Oh? Amber Rose on Dark Days After the Kanye West Split: ‘If I Was Going to Kill Myself, I Would Have During Those Times’
Amber Rose is getting forthright about her 2010 split from Kanye West and the “constant bullying” she says she’s endured from him over the years.
“I see this a lot on the Internet: ‘Amber’s going to hurt him.’ I’ve been the one that’s been heartbroken. I have never cheated on any of my boyfriends,” Rose, 33, revealed during her sit-down interview. “I still have never said anything mean about Kanye. This is after six, seven years of constant bullying from him.”
Rose and West, 40, dated for two years before calling it quits in 2010 — the same year he released the Grammy winning My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, his fifth studio album, inspired by their breakup.
“It’s a great part of history and it’s a great part of hip-hop, and I’m happy to be a part of it, but that time was not a great time for me,” she said. “I’m famous, and I’m broke. I can’t date anyone else. I can’t say anything on the Internet because Kanye has such a voice. If I was going to kill myself, I would have done it during those times.”
“The only thing I got from him was fame. I had to just take that,” Rose continues. “I had to take that heartbreak on top of it.”
#SHOTSFIRED Charlize Theron Calls Tia Mowry “A B!tch” Over SoulCycle Comments?
Who knew Charlize Theron was the shade queen?!
The “Atomic Blonde” actress stopped by Watch What Happens Live and played “Plead The Fifth” with host Andy Cohen. Being a little shady himself, Andy asked Charlize if the rumor about her rolling her eyes at Tia Mowry during a SoulCycle workout class was true. Theron answered by saying, “What a b!tch,” and while she was somewhat joking, her continued response was a bit more petty (or passive aggressive at the very least).
“I’m not an eye roller,” Charlize stated, “but I would be like ‘f*ck off’.” And after claiming she didn’t even remember seeing Mowry at SoulCycle, she followed up with a non-apology saying, “I’m sorry if you were there.” THE. SHADE.

It’s also worth noting that she never flat out denied the eye-roll, she more so just deflected.
Justin Bieber Cancels Tour because he has accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior!
Justin Bieber surprised fans by abruptly nixing the remaining dates on his “Purpose World Tour.” Now, questions are being asked about his reasons for the cancellation.
Bieber has cited “unforeseen circumstances” in his official statement and he also claimed exhaustion influenced the decision. However, insiders say he was more influenced by religion, according to TMZ.
Sources from the Hillsong Church say that Bieber cut his tour short because he’s “rededicated his life to Christ.” The pop star has frequently been seen with Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz in recent months. They even attended a large church event in Australia recently. Still, insiders claim that Lentz did not influence the decision.
In a paparazzi interview, Bieber explained his reasons for cancelling the tour, while quieting concerns about the matter. “Everything is fine,” he said. “I’ve been on tour for two years. Just resting and getting some relaxation. We’re gonna ride some bikes.”
When asked about his message to fans, he responded: “I love you guys. I think you guys are awesome. Sorry for anybody who feels disappointed or betrayed. It’s not my heart or anything. Have a blessed day.”
But fans weren’t the only ones disappointed in Bieber’s cancellation. According to TMZ, more than 200 people are out of work due to the decision, with many of them upset and feeling blindsided by the situation.
Crew members reportedly don’t believe Bieber’s exhaustion claims, either. According to sources, the pop crooner recently had a month off in Laguna Beach and Los Angeles, where he apparently played sports and partied during his down time.
Shortly after his remaining “Purpose Tour” dates were scrapped, Bieber issued a statement through his camp. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the ‘Purpose World Tour’ concerts,” read the statement. “Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the ‘Purpose World Tour’ over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates.”
