BLOOP! A Judge Dismisses Kenya Moore’s Restraining Order Against Ex Matt Jordan!
There’s nothing shielding Kenya Moore from her ex-boyfriend now that a judge has thrown out her restraining order against him.
A few weeks ago, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star filed a temporary restraining order against Matt Jordan, claiming that he was calling as much as 30 times a day. She also cited an alleged threat that came after she blocked his number.
But just as Kenya was trying to have him served with the legal documents that would require Matt to stay at least 200 yards away from her, he allegedly ghosted her.
TMZ reports that Kenya‘s restraining order against Matt was dismissed on Wednesday after she failed to show up for a hearing in the situation. According to her lawyer, she opted not to show up in court because she already knew the judge would throw the order out since she hasn’t been able to locate Matt in order to have him served.
Kenya does plan to refile, but she’ll still need to find a way to serve Matt with the restraining order.

“Well you would have to speak to Gina Prince-Bythewood, the director of Love & Basketball about that officially. I’ve heard the rumors and I feel like that [Love and Basketball] was a story to itself…I mean how could you go about making a sequel to it? I feel the ending was pretty finite.”
On the lack of roles for black women in Hollywood and how to fix it:
“There have definitely been some advances, I mean never before have we had so many shows led by African-American actresses…I support and congratulate Taraji P. Henson, Tika Sumpter, Kerry Washington, and Viola Davis, but at the same more of those opportunities are needed…The solution can be to produce our own projects, as we did with Perfect Stranger, and then we need audiences to support them. At the end of the day Hollywood is a business and numbers do talk. They are going to go with what’s successful and making money.”
On how she chooses roles:
“Reading the script is the first thing I do. If I’m sold on the script I’ll feel more inclined to do the project, but more importantly I can screen what I’m accepting” As for her characters; “… that really just comes from knowing the craft and putting in the work.”
On the rumors that she’s starring in Marvel’s Luke Cage on Netflix:
“Really? You heard that? Well [she laughs], I would have to read the script first and know who’s starring in it. Then you never know…”

I guess Sunday night’s opening of RhoA is going to be a BLOCKBUSTER! Is one of the last married couples on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” headed to Splitsville Lane? We’re not sure. But, where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
Rumors are circulating that Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas are having issues. That’s not new news. We all saw him getting super flirtatious and feeling up on a chick in the bar over the summer. Cynthia then adds, “Physical attraction is important, but I am more attracted to Peter’s mind."

NFL SUNDAY FOOTBALL The BIRDS VS THE BOYZ! Bradford Lifts Eagles To OT Win 33-27!
ARLINGTON, Texas – The Eagles acquired Sam Bradford for signature moments like the final play of the Eagles’ 33-27 overtime win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, when the luster of his offseason arrival returned with a 41-yard pass to Jordan Matthews for a game-winning touchdown.
Those interceptions and incompletions from the first seven games could be forgiven for one week. Matthews’ drops are now last month’s news. If there’s any way to revitalize hope in Philadelphia, it’s by beating the Cowboys in overtime.
After a fumble on Ryan Mathews’ fourth-down conversion was overturned to allow the Eagles to continue a drive, Bradford hit Matthews streaking across the Cowboys’ defense. Matthews ran to the end zone, and the Eagles evened their record at 4-4 and gave the rival Cowboys (2-6) their sixth consecutive loss.
It was Bradford’s only touchdown pass of the game. He finished 25 for 36 for 295 yards. Matthews led all receivers with nine catches for 133 yards and the score. DeMarco Murray rushed 18 times for 83 yards and a touchdown.
Bradford had a chance to lead the Eagles to a go-ahead touchdown late in the fourth quarter, but he brought them only into range for a long field goal. And that’s where the Eagles turned to Caleb Sturgis, who started the season without a team and opened his Eagles tenure with wayward attempts. Sturgis’ kick from 53 yards inched past the upright for the 27-24 lead with 1 minute, 46 seconds remaining.
That was enough time for the Cowboys – with the help of some penalty flags – to tie the game. Three Eagles penalties, including two pass interferences, helped set up Dan Bailey’s 44-yard field goal that bounced off the left upright and fell through to send the game to overtime.
The fourth quarter went back and forth from the time Jordan Hicks jumped in front of a Darren McFadden to intercept Matt Cassel’s pass and raced 64 yards down the left sideline to thwart a Cowboys scoring opportunity and give the Eagles a 21-14 lead.
However, the lead barely had time to breathe. Lucky Whitehead returned the ensuing kickoff 79 yards to give Dallas favorable field position. On the third play, Cassel scrambled around the pocket to buy enough time to allow Dez Bryant to box out in the end zone. He caught Cassel’s 18-yard heave in a crowd of Eagles defenders to tie the game and neutralize Hicks’ big play.
The teams traded field goals for the rest of the quarter to set up overtime.
The Eagles failed to score in the first quarter for the sixth time this season. On the opening drive, they accomplished a rare feat: two three-and-outs on the same drive. Even when a Cowboys penalty on a punt gave the Eagles a fresh set of downs, they could not use them to convert a first down. The common thread both times was failing to throw beyond the first-down sticks on third down – an ill-fated play call this season.
The Cowboys responded to the Eagles’ early ineptitude with an 11-play, 93-yard touchdown drive to take the lead. The big play on that march was a 51-yard pass to Bryant, who ran past Nolan Carroll and looked more like the receiver that has plagued the Eagles throughout his career than the one limited in last week’s loss.
The scoring quieted until the second quarter when the Eagles went on the type of drive that was expected to be the standard this season. They went 80 yards on 13 up-tempo plays, relying on the backfield combination of Murray, Mathews, and Sproles. Nine of their plays were rushes, including a 21-yarder by Mathews. The Eagles handed the ball to Murray on fourth and goal from the 1-yard line to tie the game.
The Cowboys thought they answered with a score on their next drive, but a 29-yard touchdown pass was nullified because Terrance Williams pushed off Byron Maxwell and was flagged for offensive pass interference. Eagles linebacker Brandon Graham sacked Cassel on a third down later in the drive to knock Dallas out of field-goal range and force a punt.
Kelly’s time management was curious on the final drive of the first half. With two timeouts at their disposal, the Eagles ran only three plays in the final minute. And when it appeared they were running out the clock in the final seconds, they called a deep pass that left Bradford exposed to a big hit and left the Eagles needing to punt when it fell incomplete.
The Eagles might have started slowly in the first half, but they were tough to stop to open the second half. On their first offensive drive, they went 95 yards on seven plays in 2 minutes, 39 seconds. Bradford had one of his best drives of the year. He completed 5 of 6 passes, with a 44-yard wheel route to DeMarco Murray that was a placed in the perfect spot. Mathews rushed for the 6-yard score to give the Eagles a 14-7 lead.
That advantage barely lasted, because the Eagles struggled to cover Cowboys slot receiver Cole Beasley. The Eagles use safeties to cover the slot receivers this season, but that’s a tougher matchup against smaller, shiftier types such as Beasley. Malcolm Jenkins could not stay with Beasley, who caught four passes in the drive. The final one was a 17-yarder that tied the game at 14.
The game was tied a few more times after that – including the end of regulation to set up the decisive overtime period.

Weekend Box Office! 'Spectre' Looks to Top 'Skyfall' While 'Peanuts' Vies for a Strong Second
James Bond and Charlie Brown brought the box office roaring back to life, as “Spectre” and “The Peanuts Movie” attracted big crowds over their opening weekends. “Spectre,” the latest 007 adventure, took first place, debuting to $73 million from 3,929 theaters — a hefty figure and the second-highest debut in series history, but one that nevertheless trails the launch of “Skyfall.” The previous film in the long-running franchise bowed to $88.4 million, but enjoyed better reviews and benefited from being the only new wide release in its opening weekend. Going into the weekend, tracking suggested that the film would debut to $80 million, but the strength of “The Peanuts Movie” and some critical grousing about plot holes wide enough to drive an Aston Martin through may have depressed ticket sales. However, “The Peanuts Movie” had its own challenges. A younger generation didn’t grow up on Snoopy and Charlie Brown and newspaper funny pages have been a casualty of the blood-letting in the print industry. That meant re-introducing the characters, something that other, older pieces of intellectual property, such as “Mr. Peabody and Sherman,” have been unsuccessful in doing. But the bet paid off. Thirty eight percent of the audience was under the age of 18 and seemed to like what they saw, handing the film an A+ CinemaScore. LEGENDARY! Tevin Campbell Resurfaces To Perform At The 2015 Soul Train Awards
If you grew up listening to and loving R&B music in the 90s, then Tevin Campbell was likely one of your fave arists. We were totally crushing on him back in the day.
The “Can We Talk” crooner serenaded us all with tender love ballads that we couldn’t get enough of at the 2015 Soul Train Awards held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. It was a special treat since the “I’m Ready” has been keeping a very low profile, but he came out of hiding last night to treat the audience with his vocals on his Babyface-produced track. And we are HERE for it.
Babyface was honored with the prestigious Legend Award and soon after, he hit the stage with Tevin (and other artists) to belt out the classics he has produced over the years. Tevin hit the stage to take us straight back to the 90s with his classic hit “Can We Talk,” which won him a Soul Train Award back in 1994.

HELLO? Adele’s 25 Is Out In Two Weeks But No One Knows If It Will Be Streaming
Adele’s “Hello” came out only 13 days ago, but you’ve probably heard it more than a hundred times already, even if you haven’t consciously sought it out. Not a bad thing! It’s a hell of a song. But it is inescapable. There’s some empirical data to support that assumption: “Hello” sold a record-breaking 1.12 million downloads in its first week of availability, and over that same seven-day span, it got 61.6 million video streams and 20.4 million on-demand streaming-service plays.\
“Hello” is, of course, the first single off Adele’s upcoming third LP, 25, and there’s absolutely no question that album is going to be a monster. Maybe historically so! One year ago last week, Forbes wrote a piece titled “Why Taylor Swift’s 1989 Could Be The Last Platinum Album Ever” — but 1989 cruised past platinum certification like it was nothing. 1989 went platinum in its first week. In July, 1989 hit the 5x platinum mark, reaching that point faster than any other album in a decade. For the past year, nothing else has even come close to achieving those numbers.
But then again, nothing else is like Adele.
Since its 2011 release, the British singer’s last LP, 21, has sold more than 11 million copies in the US, and more than 30 million worldwide. (#Truth!) And based on the response to “Hello,” it seems reasonable to suggest that 25 could eclipse both 21 and 1989. But the parallels between Adele and Swift extend beyond sheer commercial heft: Just as Swift kept 1989 off Spotify (and soon afterward, pulled her whole catalog from the service), Adele initially withheld 21 from Spotify. And even though the release of 25 is only two weeks away (it comes out on 11/20), it appears Adele may withhold the new album from every streaming outlet. Or she may not. No one knows. According to a story in today’s New York Times:
Executives briefed on the plans for Adele’s release said that streaming services had been given no clear indications about whether, or when, the album would become available on those outlets.
It seems reasonable to imagine that some serious negotiations are currently underway: If one service were to get an exclusive lock on 25 — even if only temporarily — it would be a monumental boon to that service, irrespective of its price. (Presumably, the only services in contention for such an arrangement would be Apple Music and Spotify — Tidal, Deezer, the newly relaunched Napster, et al., can merely watch this one from the sidelines.) But as the Times’ sources point out: “One likely scenario [is] that the album could be withheld from streaming outlets for a week or more to maximize its CD and download sales.”
What makes this remarkable is the degree of secrecy. Swift spoke openly about her issues with Spotify and Apple Music — and immediately afterward, Spotify and Apple Music responded. Swift made her position known, and in doing so, generated conversation that led to increased transparency and eventually progress. But no one on either side is saying anything on the subject of 25. And according to the Times, Adele herself is calling the shots:
Adele is said to be personally involved in deciding whether and how her music should be streamed — an unusual level of involvement for a major star in such a granular business issue.
But is it so unusual? Is it so granular? Between Tay Sway and Jay Z, this sort of scenario seems increasingly commonplace, and the issue seems increasingly vital. Furthermore, it seems like musicians at all levels would prefer to be more involved with this aspect of their careers … but aren’t, only because few record deals allow the artist any say over their streaming rights (which is why Beyoncé’s catalog could have been pulled from Tidal, even though she and her husband are co-owners of the service).
Here, Adele — like Swift — wields unique power. And whatever choice Adele does make will speak volumes and be widely scrutinized. Will she withhold 25 from all streaming services for a period to bump sales? Will she ink an exclusive deal with one service in return for a substantial financial payout (or even an equity stake)? Or will she look at the 20.4 million on-demand streaming-service plays accrued in just one week by “Hello” and choose to stream 25 everywhere on 11/20 and beyond — thus getting her music to the most possible listeners at the exact moment those listeners are most excited to hear it?
It’ll be interesting to find out. As for finding the music, though … well, you probably won’t have to worry too much about that. Wherever it is, and wherever you are, 25 is going to find you.

RACISM STILL LIVES ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES! University Of Missouri’s Black Football Players Strike, Won’t Play Until President Resigns
(H/T Think Progress)-Following a series of racist incidents on campus, at least 32 members of the University of Missouri’s football team will not play until the school’s president, Tim Wolfe, resigns. On Saturday night, a group of black players declared that they are going on strike, citing Wolfe’s “negligence” in handling discrimination on campus.
The announcement was tweeted from Missouri’s Legion of Black Collegians, next to a photo of 32 players with linked arms. According to the Columbia Missourian, 60 of the 124 players on the current roster are black, but the exact number joining the protest is undetermined.
“The athletes of color on the University of Missouri football team truly believe ‘Injustice Anywhere is a threat to Justice Everywhere,” the caption read. “We will no longer participate in any football related activities until President Tim Wolfe resigns or is removed due to his negligence toward marginalized students’ experiences. WE ARE UNITED!!!!!”
African-Americans make up 7 percent of the student body. The athletes’ decision came days after a graduate student named Jonathan Butler went on hunger strike for the same reasons.
“The revolting acts that are occurring at Mizzou are a result of a poisonous infestation of apathy that has been spawning from University of Missouri system leadership,” Butler wrote in a Facebook post Monday, when he announced his strike. “For some that may seem like a flamboyant statement but when you sit back and reflect on the fact that a MU student felt comfortable enough with the campus culture to use their own feces to draw a swastika on campus, that really tells you about the direction in which the University of Missouri is headed.”
In addition to the swastika incident that occurred in October, which Wolfe attempted to minimize, white students in a pickup trucked yelled “nigger” repeatedly at the Missouri Students Association president in September. Wolfe did not issue a response until one week later, after students protested on campus. Shortly after, a group of black students were rehearsing for a play when white students called them the same derogatory name.
Mizzou students have been protesting for days. Among the football players taking a stand against Wolfe are the team’s starting running back and corner back. According to one, the team’s coaches are understanding and supportive of the decision.
The school issued a statement Saturday night, saying, “We all must come together with leaders from across our campus to tackle these challenging issues and we support our student-athletes right to do so.”
A University of Pennsylvania study from 2013 found that black men made up 57.1 percent of NCAA football teams, even though they account for less than 5 percent of undergraduates at those universities. Most of them are on scholarship. They, too, are subjected to racism, in large part because they are seen as “others” who are only there because of athletic — not academic — abilities.
Missouri’s football players aren’t alone in protesting acts of racism on campus this year. In March, the University of Oklahoma football team walked out of practice and joined an on-campus protest after video of an OU fraternity’s racist chant surfaced.

Real Housewives of Atlanta lost one of reality TV's biggest divas when NeNe Leakes announced her departure from the show earlier this year, and now, another cast member has announced they've moved on as well.
Miss Lawrence, the stylist-turned-star who now stars on Bravo's Fashion Queens, says she's done with the show for good.
In a new interview with BET, Lawrence reveals despite her friendship with some of the women on the show, she had become uncomfortable with the use of gay men as props in the main cast members' storylines.
"We don't hold a lot of women accountable for culture appropriation. They love to borrow from the culture, steal intellectual property from the gay community, and most of them don't give back," explains Miss Lawrence.
While many of the women on the show consider themselves outspoken allies to the LGBT community, Lawrence says, at the end of the day, she wasn't being a good role model for her community by letting any of the offensive behavior he saw slide.
"There’s no way I can call myself a social activist and be a real activist for my community on that show. I'm not angry with them; I just think they need to be educated," says Lawrence.
Although Lawrence explains she doesn't believe any of his former co-stars to be homophobic, she doesn't think that means they're above reproach, either.
"They need to understand how to respect our culture — what’s appropriate to say and what’s not. I can almost assure you that if a white man was on a reality show and he got upset with a Black woman and said, 'Black bitch,' it would be a huge uproar across America. But it’s OK if a Black woman calls a gay man a 'queen' or 'f—t.'"

Sistas: Michael B. Jordan Apologizes To Black Women Over Interracial Dating & #AllLivesMatters Comments
This past week, Michael B. Jordan's GQ interview and a his social media postings stirred up some drama.
While addressing the rumor -- and backlash -- about him allegedly dating Kendall Jenner in his new GQ cover story, Michael responded with these exact words:
“It’s the world we live in,” says Jordan. “They see white and black. I don’t. Kendall’s a friend of mine, you know. I don’t know her, like, that well, but I know her enough. People’s perspective on that is what it is. I don’t fucking know. I don’t live my life to make other people happy. It’s so weird, though, right? A lot of black fans were feeling like, ‘Oh, my God, he should have been with a black woman’ and that whole thing. I get it, but on the other hand it’s, like, relax. You know—it’s 2015. It’s okay! People can like one another, not necessarily from the same history or culture or whatever the fuck it is. It’s just the new world, you know what I mean?”
When asked about his choice to take on roles meant for white men, he said:
“I want to be part of that movement that blurs the line between white and black,” and tells me this: “I told my team after I finished Chronicle [the successful low-budget sci-fi movie that first partnered him with Fantastic Four director Josh Trank] that I only want to go out for roles that were written for white characters. Me playing the role will make it what it is.”
That statement, in addition to a recent Snapchat he posted where he said he believes #AllLivesMatter, set off a social media firestorm.
Michael's "not wanting to see color" style statements -- when black women have been supporting his career since before the mainstream even knew his name -- rubbed some folks the wrong way. Yesterday, the Fruitvale Station star sent a letter to Essence.com explaining that he said the wrong things when it came to the Kendall Jenner issue. He also touted his respect for and belief in the #BlackLivesMatter movement, espcially considering that he played the role of Oscar Grant in an award winning movie.
Some folks say the letter below doesn't feel genuine, where others appreciate the explanation.
So, here it is in full:
I have been a professional actor for most of my life, but being regarded as a leading man is new to me and has taken some getting used to. Recently I had the opportunity to be featured on the cover of one of my favorite magazines. In the interview, several points that I shared were communicated in ways that do not reflect my true feelings and opinions. In addition, there were reports written about me elsewhere that simply aren't true. I’d like to set the record straight.
First and foremost, I believe that Black Lives Matter - unequivocally and without exception. I have never said, written, snapchatted, tweeted, Instagrammed or implied anything to the contrary. Any report that states otherwise is a complete fabrication. I portrayed Oscar Grant in my first leading role in a feature film, Fruitvale Station. I am a founding member of the Blackout for Human Rights Network. I gave a speech just a few months ago on the importance of the Black Lives Matter Movement at the BET Awards. It is frustrating to see a false claim stirred up on social media which has caused my supporters to question where I stand on this crucial issue. But I am confident that my history and continued engagement with my community will speak louder than unfounded rumors.
Secondly, it is challenging to have a nuanced conversation about race and Hollywood period. This sensitive subject becomes even more complicated when you’re dealing with soundbites and articles. A simple idea or opinion can be abbreviated and distorted as it is communicated to readers out of context. Allow me to be clear about my ideas on roles traditionally reserved for White actors. My goal is for my choices and opportunities, as well as those of my fellow actors and actresses of color, to be predicated on our talent, ability and passion and not on false notions of what color an artist must be to play certain roles. I've had the honor to portray Black characters written and directed by Black filmmakers—a privilege that too few actors of color enjoy because of the challenges of Black artistry and access behind the camera. But in addition to those wonderful roles, I also want to have the option to play all kinds of parts with no door closed to actors and actresses like myself.
Lastly, my fans who are women mean the world to me. This is especially true of Black women, who as a group have supported my work long before the industry knew my name. I deeply regret and am ashamed that I said anything to disappoint or disparage them. I apologize with my whole heart for referring to women in the way that I did. The word 'female' used in the manner that I did is dismissive and strips women of their humanity. It is a slang term that guys sometimes use to sound slick and cool coming up. But words have power and I realize now more than ever that this careless language is dehumanizing, inappropriate, and immature. I'm a better man than that. This reference to women will not come out of my mouth publicly or in private again.
In all, although some of what I said was taken out of context, I take full responsibility for the interview and I apologize for the hurt and confusion it has caused. This has been an important lesson for me. I humbly ask my fans to grow with me, as I learn more about myself and this industry.

Rihanna is having one hell of a year. The Bajan beauty made history as the first black woman to front a Dior campaign, she is PUMA’s new creative director recently releasing a new pair of sneakers, she has a new fragrance and now she’s headlining one of the biggest festivals of the year.
Coming back for the third headlining performance, RiRi rocked the stage at the 2015 Rock In Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil before 85,000 screaming fans.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann Still Fighting After Suffering Mini Stroke
Just three days after suffering a mini stroke, Kim Zolciak-Biermann is still undergoing treatment.
The reality star and Dancing With the Stars contestant revealed on Friday morning that she has one more procedure.
“Going in for one more procedure, things are looking up! don’t let the oxygen scare you its just protocol,” she wrote on Instagram. “I wanted THANK all of you for the love! I feel so overwhelmed with all the texts, comments etc. I’m so grateful to have all of you! #TheyDontCallMeToughieForNothing.”
After the taping of DWTS on Tuesday, the beauty took a late night flight back home to Atlanta and as soon as she got home, the former RHOA star suffered a transient ischemic attack, or mini stroke. Zolciak experienced classic signs of a stroke, including numbness on the left side of the body and slurred speech.
The 37-year-old’s professional dancing partner, Tony Dovolani, released a statement on Friday that read:
“After spending only a few weeks with Kim, it is evident of how much of a fighter she is. Her humor and positivity are still shining through, and it’s amazing to see the love and support of her family. We are hoping for a speedy recovery.”

SADNESS! “black•ish” husband/dad Anthony Anderson is going through some real life issues. He’s reportedly headed to divorce court after his wife Alvina Stewart filed paperwork to leave her husband of 20 years.
The EMMY nominated actor and his estranged wife got married in 1995 and also share two teenagers together, a 19-year-old daughter named Kyra and a 15-year-old son named Nathan. According to TMZ, Alvina is seeking joint legal custody and primary physical custody of their minor child including “reasonable visitation” for the ABC star.
Oh..and there’s more. She’s also seeking spousal support for her husband. According to the paperwork, Alvina listed their date of separation as April 1, 2015, 5 months before “black•ish” premiered on network television. Hmm…wonder if she’ll still get a piece of THAT pie. Guess that further explains why he had his son on the red carpet at the 2015 EMMYs rather than his wife.
Anthony has been doing plenty of promo this week, and he seemed to be in great spirits. So this comes as a bit of a surprise.

Sex Tape Of A 28-Year-Old Jennifer Lopez May Soon Hit The Market
Jennifer Lopez’s thirstbucket of a first husband, Ojani Noa, may have found a legal loophole that will allow him to release their first lovemaking session as a married couple for a retail release.
In a new interview with inTouch, Noa’s business partner Ed Meyer revealed how their seedy money grab would play out in a court of law.
“We are going to produce a DVD and also have a streaming release of the J.Lo home video footage,” Meyer tells the magazine. “There is revealing video of her with a lack of clothing and in sexual situations, especially in the hotel footage from the honeymoon.”
Lopez and Noa (who was a waiter at the time) were married from February 1997 to January 1998 and the Bronx native has since been married two other times among several other high-profile celebrity relationships, birthed fraternal twins, enjoyed platinum success on the musical front, released a handful of box office smash movies and has been crowned a fashion and style icon.
During the course of this historic run, Noa has been fixated on making money off their microwave marriage, as one devious scheme was foiled in 2006 after he had to fork over $545,000 for violating their confidentiality agreement after he attempted to publish a tell-all book. While one would think a Jennifer Lopez sex tape would automatically flag said agreement, the six-year litigation of the lawsuit hit a snag when the actress withdrew all of her claims against Meyer and Noa during the arbitration period and now the two feel they have a bit of wiggle room to go in for the kill.
“The videos contain salacious material and are going to shock her fans.” Meyer told inTouch. “We have unfinished business.”
