Mariah Carey has ushered in 2017 with a botched performance on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" on ABC.

The singer appeared to have technical difficulties during her live performance Saturday night in Times Square. She even stopped singing her song "Emotions," paced the stage and told the audience to finish the lyrics for her.

She told the crowd, "I'm trying to be a good sport here."

Carey headlined the festivities in Times Square, where about a million revelers jammed in to greet the new year.

A representative for the singer confirmed there were technical difficulties.

Carey took to Instagram after the performance saying, "Here's to making more headlines in 2017."

The new reality show stars the mothers of A- through Z-list celebrities who call Atlanta home.

The show will follow the Golden Ladies as they dispense advice and love to their famous (and not-so-famous) offspring. Cameras will follow them as they share their personal lives and run their numerous non-profit charity organizations.

Leading the pack is Tameka “Tiny” Harris‘s mom (and friend of the blog), Diane Cottle, 2nd from left in top picture, and her bestie, Violeta Morgan (Rapper T.I.’s mom) far left in top picture.

“Mama” Joyce Burruss (Kandi Burruss‘ mom), 4th from right in the pic below, is desperate to flee the hot mess that is RHOA.

They are joined by Brenda Johnson (Syleena Johnson’s Mom); Shirleen Harvell (Rasheeda Frost’s mom); Lorna Wyatt (KeKe Wyatt’s mom); and the mothers of one-hit-wonders, Frances Wellington (J Holiday’s mom); Shauna Marie Campbell (rapper K Camp’s mom); and Morenika Vinnie (rapper Ca$h Out’s mom, wearing blue hairdo).

The producers promise not to sugarcoat the women’s “heartaches, laughter, drama and mentoring to others.”

FIX IT JESUS! OXYGEN Greenlights New Spinoff Show “Preachers of Detroit” -- Meet The Cast!

Help Jesus! After the success of the controversial hit series “Preacher of L.A.”, OXYGEN has a new spinoff show in the works entitled “Preachers of Detroit”.

The new series is taking us to Motown to chronicle the men and women of God as they tackle life’s challenges and triumphs in and out of the pulpit. The network also plans to develop New York, Atlanta and Dallas editions of the show.  Of course.

The prominent pastors of Detroit include:

Bishop Charles H. Ellis III of Greater Grace Temple.

Famed Clark Sisterb Evangelist and gospel singer Dorinda Clark-Cole. She has a new single "You Are" on ITunes and a clothing line, "The Rose Collection”.

Reverend David Alexander Bullock of Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church.

Pastor Don W. Shelby of Burning Bush International Ministries Church of God.

Bishop Corletta Vaughn is the Senior Pastor of Holy Ghost Baptist Cathedral.

Bishop-Elect Clarence Langston of Word In Action Christian Center.

Pastor Tim Alden is the senior pastor of City of Praise Christian Church located in L.A.

He's originally from Detroit.

We can expect the show to premiere in the winter of 2015. Will you be watching these seven men and women of the cloth share their lives, transformations and triumphs in and out of the pulpit in Detroit? Personally I’m surprised at Dorinda I think she should just back out. Her profile as an dynamic preacher and Singer is at the top of her game. But then again Karen did do ‘The Sheard’s’ on BET so I guess she wants a crack at it!
