#RHoA: Porsha Williams On Season 9 Of Real Housewives of Atlanta: “Some Of These Girls Came Back Meaner Than Ever”
The countdown is on! Just 13 more days until the season 9 premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta! Today Porsha Williams was a guest co-host on talk show The Real and dished on the drama of the upcoming season. She also shared a little of what we can expect from her this time around.
She dished with the ladies that we’ll be seeing a new grown-up version of Porsha in the new episodes!  “This season on Housewives, you will really get to know me. I’m kind of evolving and I think this season I’m more comfortable in my skin than ever before. I’m taking counseling, which is something I am a big fan of.”
She reveals that she’ll also be resolving some family tensions and will share her dating life.  Porsha says this season she’ll be “getting back closer with family. And saying yes to things more. Sometimes life can wear you down. The power of yes. You start to say no because you think you’re protecting yourself, but really you’re stopping some of life’s blessings that could happen. So, this season I start dating again. And crazy enough, the person that I’m seeing is someone from my past. We dated for four years in my early 20s, he was the love of my life. Last name Stewart, not my ex-husband.” She adds, “it’s interesting. You get to kind of see that relationship and where we are. We’re not exactly in a relationship right now but it’s growing into something.”

After they play a dramatic preview clip of a scene from this season, Porsha laughs and says, “It’s a lot of drama this season. Some of these girls came back meaner than ever, but I am loving and living life. As you see, I walk away.”

Porsha says although it’s not perfect, she still loves “some” of these women. “This season is good. Our relationships go up and down on this show. We’re dealing with our real life, which isn’t always easy. So, you have those downs but I do have to say I love the connection between some of the ladies on the show.”

Empire Season 3, Episode 6 Spoilers: Lucious Tries to Drive Cookie-Angelo Apart Amid a Major Hack
Empire Season 3 has had an interesting turn of events till now. With Rhonda’s death, Cookie’s new relationship, Mariah Carey’s cameo and Andre seeing Rhonda’s spirit while getting intimate, this season could certainly be called one of the best.
Now more spoilers have been revealed. According to these, Empire will be under a major threat that could create a conflict of its own. With a conflict on the professional front, some personal equations will also change in the upcoming episode.
TV Guide reported Season 3, episode 6. According to it, there will be a massive hacking taking place in Empire, which will create conflict among artistes and the Lyon family. While the hacking problem gets dealt with, Lyon family’s eldest son Andre will take advantage of the leak. In what ways will Andre be using this incident is not known yet, but it would be seen how he ends up using this.

On other hand, Lucious will be on his way to doing something that revolves around his ex-wife Cookie. Looking at her growing relationship with Angelo, Lucious has probably started to feel something, which is why he will try to drive both Cookie and Angelo apart.
It is still not known why Lucious would do something like this. But it must be because he still has feelings for his ex-wife and is not ready to accept these feelings. Cookie’s reaction as well will be seen when she comes to know of what Lucious is going to do.

Fortunately, this is not the only romance that will be covered in the upcoming episode as Jamal will find himself in a love triangle. The synopsis did not give any more information about Jamal’s new love equation, but it would be interesting to see how things unfold.
Empire Season 3, episode 6 will air on Nov. 9.

New Music: Pharrell Williams feat. Lalah Hathaway – ‘Surrender’ + ‘Runnin’
Pharrell calls on soulful songstress Lalah Hathaway for the upbeat new song “Surrender” off the upcoming soundtrack to the movie Hidden Figures.
Over a clapping and foot-stomping beat, Hathaway sings about perseverance and overcoming struggle and hardship with the support of the helping hand of faith. “When I first got here I had to find my way / The end of the days were dark / When I was not clear, you showed me my mistakes, but told me keep the pace / Don’t get lost,” she sings.
Additionally, Pharrell has released his own solo record from the movie, with the song “Runnin,” which is a funky, jazzy number about standing strong in your views and beliefs.

The film stars Janelle MonĂ¡e, Octavia Spencer, and Taraji P. Henson as Katherine Johnson, the African American physicist, space scientist, and mathematician who calculated flight trajectories for Project Mercury and the 1969 Apollo 11 flight to the Moon. It will hit theaters nationwide on January 6, 2017.

New Music: Jeezy – ‘G-Wagon’
Jeezy hops out that “G-Wagon” in a Balmain jean jacket on his latest Trap or Die 3 banger.
The trunk-rattling track allows the Snowman to do what he does best with rhymes about the streets, his wealth, and his authenticity.
“Ask about me state to state,” he boasts. “Bitch, ain’t nothing fake / Y’all know my new estate / Yeah, it got a lake.”

The track features production by Shawty Redd, a longtime collaborator who’s had some ups and downs with the Snowman.
Recently, Jeezy explained why he reunited with Redd. “We started creating this sound y’all love in a basement,” he said. “We didn’t even have a studio. The first album did 2 million. With this, I wanted to create. I didn’t want to go get whoever’s hot. It’s me. Everybody in they bag from Shawty Redd to D. Rich.”
Trap or Die 3, which features Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, French Montana, Yo Gotti, Plies, and the late Bankroll Fresh, is set to drop Friday (Oct. 28).

Janet Jackson Makes 1st Public Appearance Since Pregnancy
She’s ready to pop! A very pregnant Janet Jackson was spotted recently in London. The 50-year-old singer and husband, Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana, made their first public appearance together since officially announcing their pregnancy earlier this month.
The singer, who reportedly converted to Islam after marrying, covered her hair with a hijab, wearing a black hooded poncho over a black skirt and comfy shoes.
Earlier this month, Janet officially confirmed her pregnancy, showing off her growing baby bump with a new shoot. She says of her pregnancy,

"We thank God for our blessing. "

Until now, the star nor her husband had yet to officially announce the pregnancy. However, over the summer, her brother Jermaine Jackson confirmed that she was indeed expecting.
In April, Jackson announced that she was postponing her Unbreakable World Tour to focus on “planning” a family. The mother-to-be has not yet confirmed a due date for the baby, but it is rumored that she’s due November.

‘DWTS’ Amber Rose Dating Val Chmerkovskiy? Rumors Strike After Birthday Celebration
Although she was eliminated on Dancing with the Stars, Amber Rose is still associated with the show — and may even be associated with the pro-dancers on said show. Well, one in particular, anyway!

A few new Instagram posts have sparked rumors that Amber Rose is romantically involved with someone she met on DWTS, someone very close to her (former) partner, Maks. The photo was posted by Maks’ brother, Val Chmerkovskiy, and immediately had fans wondering if the two were an item. Val posted the pic in honor of Amber’s birthday — she turned 33 on Friday.
Check out the image below. It was taken at the model’s birthday celebration.
Amber Rose celebrated her special day with a star-studded bash over the weekend. Not only was Val in attendance, but so was Maks. However, the photos that Amber and Val posted of themselves suggested that the two had become very close over the past few weeks of DWTS competition. This is fairly interesting since the two weren’t dance partners. However, the show is known to bond all of its stars, and many people become close friends even if they aren’t working together on a daily basis. DWTS has been referred to as a “family” by many — stars and pros alike. Everyone spends so much time rehearsing that they all end up bonding, even if they aren’t sharing the dancefloor for the same number.

It’s just that the captions on these Instagram posts have people wondering if Amber Rose and Val Chmerkovskiy are dating. While it’s clear that they have become friends, there are an awful lot of heart emojis being used!

Miami Dolphins' Arian Foster retires midway through eighth NFL season
Eight NFL seasons was apparently enough for Arian Foster.
The running back has retired according to his new team, the Miami Dolphins.
Foster's agent, Mike McCartney, tweeted Monday night: "Congrats to Arian Foster on a great career! What a run he had starting with a magical 2010 season. Proud of both the player and the man!"

The digital media company UNINTERRUPTED tweeted a message from Foster, which read in part: "There comes a time in every athlete's career when their ambition and their body are no longer on the same page. I've reached that point. It's hard to write those words because this game has been everything to me ... my therapy, my joy, my solace and my enemy. I've learned to love every facet of this game, from the peak of accomplishment to the gutter of criticism. And it all makes the ride worthwhile."

Foster, 30, was a stellar performer when his body cooperated. Undrafted in 2009 after an inconsistent career at the University of Tennessee, he became the Houston Texans' starting tailback in 2010 and turned in an all-pro season that included his only rushing title.
The football world reacts to Arian Foster's sudden retirement
A versatile threat out of the backfield, Foster eclipsed 1,200 rushing yards four times with the Texans, including a league-best 1,616 yards on the ground and 2,220 from scrimmage in 2010.

"It was pretty surprising. Obviously, I think the world of him as a football player. It's not easy to see guys step away from the sport," Texans linebacker Brian Cushing, a longtime teammate of Foster's, said Monday.
"I admired the way he played, and I admired the physical talents. He was one of the most talented running backs possibly ever. It's sad, but at the same time, he's moving on in life. He's an interesting character and he probably has a lot to do in his life after football."
Various injuries often sidelined Foster; he played 80 of a possible 119 regular-season games in his career. Hamstring issues this season limited him to four games and 55 rushing yards during his first year with Miami. And with Jay Ajayi's emergence in recent weeks, Foster was probably ticketed for a supporting role.

The Texans' all-time rushing leader (6,472 yards), Foster finishes with four Pro Bowl nods, 6,527 career rushing yards, 255 catches and 68 touchdowns.
"That's a good friend of mine. Wow, I didn't know that," said Texans tackle Duane Brown.
"Hat's off to him, salute to him. He had a heck of a career, and I'm honored to be able to share the field with him and be able to contribute to some of his success and have him contribute to some of my success. I'm sure he'll do well in other endeavors after football."

R.I.P Our condolences, James Earl Jones’ Wife Dies From Ovarian Cancer
Cancer has taken another life. The wife of an actor we have known and loved for decades. Quite honestly, most probably didn’t even know legendary actor James Earl Jones was even married.

Not that it is a surprise, but he has always been notoriously quiet, and is one of the rare luminaries whose has managed to allow his work to speak louder than anything else; so most likely, his status in personal life was a non-issue for us all.
But we are heartbroken for him and his family that their matriarch, Cecilia Hart, 68, died on Sunday following her battle with ovarian cancer according to WestportNow reports.
Hart was an actor too. She and her future husband would meet while taping the Steven Bochco TV series called ‘Paris’ (1979-80). And then work together again in 1982, following their marriage, in a revival of William Shakespeare’s Othello that same year.
They have one son together — Flynn Earl Jones.

Hart and Jones’ marriage was a second one for both — he was previously married to actress Julienne Marie and she to actor Bruce Weitz.
The pair were last seen on the red carpet of June’s Tony Awards.
The family requested that donations in her name be made to two organizations close to Hart’s heart: The Actors Fund or Hudson Valley Hospice.
James Earl Jones continues to work in films and theatre.

Walking Dead Premiere Draws 17 Million, Just Shy of Series Record
Loathe him or hate him, Negan hit a home run on Sunday night.’

The Walking Dead‘s Season 7 premiere drew 17 million total viewers and an 8.4 rating (or 10.7 million viewers) in the coveted 18-49 demo, just shy of the series records (17.3 mil/8.7) set by its Season 5 opener. (Pause for context: TWD had about as many viewers just in the 18-49 demo as broadcast TV’s most-watched Sunday drama had overall.)
The Walking Dead‘s eventful, brutal hour did mark, however, its highest-rated episode ever in the 25-54 demo, where it scored an 8.7.
Compared to the Season 6 premiere, “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be” was up 16 percent in audience and 14 percent in the demo, and versus the April finale it returned up 20 and 22 percent.

TWD‘s return earned a grade of “A” from 49 percent of TVLine readers, while 23 percent gave the polarizing episode an “F.” A little more than 50 percent said the episode “went too far” in its graphic depiction of the two big deaths, with 36 percent claiming they are now done with the series.
The rain-soaked, 90-minute Talking Dead premiere in turn hit series highs in total audience (7.6 million) and in the 25-54 demo, while essentially matching its all-time best 18-49 delivery (landing 4.7 million in the demo). Versus its previous post-TWD premiere, it improved 34 percent in audience and 28 percent in 18-49.

HMMMM, NFL made deal with Rams over selecting Michael Sam!

HMMMM, NFL made deal with Rams over selecting Michael Sam

(Via MSN) The St. Louis Rams' selection of defensive end Michael Sam in the 2014 draft apparently involved backroom discussions with the NFL.© Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports (file photo) The St. Louis Rams' selection of defensive end Michael Sam in the 2014 draft apparently involved backroom discussions with the NFL. Almost two years ago, the St. Louis Rams selected defensive end Michael Sam in the seventh round of the NFL Draft.
At the time, the Rams were hailed for being progressive by drafting the first openly gay player in the National Football League. It turns out, according to multiple sources, that the league agreed not to ask the Rams to appear that year on HBO's yearly summer series, "Hard Knocks," if they drafted Sam.

Shortly after his college career at Missouri ended, Sam came put publicly, acknowledging he is gay. The Southeastern Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2013, Sam was considered a fifth-round pick at best. However, as the draft proceeded on the final day, it appeared he might not be drafted at all.

It is believed the NFL didn't want to face questions about that eventuality, and the Rams were viewed as the ideal spot because of St. Louis' proximity to the Missouri campus in Columbia, 90 miles away, and head coach Jeff Fisher's ability to deal with whatever distractions there might be.
So it was that the Rams saved the day, selecting Sam with the 249th pick of a 256-player draft. Now, the Rams are jumping back into the spotlight by making a quick agreement to participate in "Hard Knocks" this year.

The Rams moved to Los Angeles in January, and as the annual owners meeting closed Wednesday, in one of the earliest announcements ever, the NFL revealed that the Rams will be the featured team this summer on the HBO show.
It is no surprise the league wants to showcase the return to a market that was without a team since 1994. What is somewhat odd, but understandable in light of the revelation, is that the Rams are now embracing the intrusion of HBO's cameras in a year in which the distractions and logistics of the move will be a challenge for the organization, coaches and players. Especially since Fisher consistently opposed having his team on the show.

In fact, in 2014, about two weeks after the draft and the selection of Sam, Fisher was asked about the possibility of the league picking the Rams for the TV show. If no team volunteers to be a part of "Hard Knocks," the league can pick a team that hasn't been on the show for 10 years, doesn't have a new head coach and hasn't made the playoffs for two years. The Rams qualified on all counts.
Fisher said, "We are eligible, but I think it's highly unlikely they'd ask us to do it. I think this organization has a right to go through training camp with some normalcy."
Of course, that "normalcy" included a record number of press conferences for a seventh-round draft pick, plus having an ESPN report late in training camp in which teammates were asked about their shower habits and those of Sam. By a female reporter, Josina Anderson.

There is unlikely to be much "normalcy" this offseason, training camp and regular season, too.
In a press release announcing the decision, Fisher said, "This is an exciting time for our franchise. Hard Knocks will be an outstanding way to bring our fans into our training camp and preseason, and give a glimpse of the hard work and dedication of our players, coaches and staff as we prepare for the 2016 season."

Of course, none of those players will be Sam, who was waived in the cut-down to 53 players in 2014, was briefly on the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad that season, then left the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League in the summer of 2015 without playing in a game.
One player still with the Rams is defensive end Ethan Westbrooks, who earned a roster spot as an undrafted free agent the same year as Sam. His story is an interesting postscript to the Sam saga. The Rams were high on Westbrooks, and he apparently was the team's target for one of its two late seventh-round picks. However, center Demetrius Rhaney was selected one spot after Sam, as it would have been unseemly to use that spot on Westbrooks, who plays the same position as Sam.

There is no direct evidence that the teams picking after the Rams were urged (told?) not to draft Westbrooks, but would anyone be surprised if that was the case as a thank-you to the Rams for taking everyone off the hook?
After all, Westbrooks received an unusually large $20,000 signing bonus in addition to having $30,000 of his first-year salary guaranteed. In the world of the NFL, that is not a large sum of money. What is notable is that the $50,000 total guarantee was more than the slotted signing bonus/guaranteed money of $45,896 that all of the seventh-round compensatory picks received, including Sam.
In addition, to steer attention away from Westbrooks as it related to any obvious competition initially with Sam, the Rams announced when signing him that the lanky, 267-pound player was a defensive tackle.

Normal, indeed.

#RHOA: Kandi Burruss Shows Baby Ace's Face For The First Time
Awwwww, Kandi unveiled her and husband Todd's baby boy via People's Celebrity Babies today.  And the two month old is ridiculously adorable!

The 39-year-old "RHOA" star opened up about this pregnancy definitely not being easy thanks to havin to do IVFtreatments:

“We really worked hard for him. It was a long process and lots of needles.”
And taking care of a newborn hasn't been all that easy either.  Kandi's daughter Riley is 13 and Todd's daughter Kaela (pictured above with her baby brother) is 19, so it's been a while since they've done this baby thing.  Todd wasn't in Kaela's life until later in her life, so he's brand new to the baby business.  Kandi revealed:
“It’s like starting all over.  We were like, ‘Which bottles do we use? What diapers do we buy?’ Simple stuff that you would think I already know and I don’t. It’s silly.”
About the cutesy decor on Ace's nursery, Kandi says they wanted an African theme since she and Todd met in Africa.  But not in an over-the-top way.

“It’s safari chic,” added Todd. “Safari clean.”
So what's it like having more testosterone in the house after handling two teenaged girls?   Kandi said:
“I always wanted a boy so we were super excited because we have two girls and they give us much attitude.  We were looking forward to having a boy.”

Ha!

#TEAMEMPIRE:'Empire's Jussie Smollett shares his favorite memory with Lee Daniels
Yes. Jussie Smollett, who plays Jamal Lyon on Fox’s hit drama series, Empire, was present at the ninth annual BET Honors to pay tribute to Empire co-creator Lee Daniels. Daniels received a golden statuette for his contributions to television and film and was treated to Smollett's stirring rendition of Empire's single, Powerful, as well as Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror.

But just prior to the fanfare, Smollett dished on his fondest memory with Daniels: the day he found out he landed the role behind his meteoric rise to fame.
“Lee texted me and he said it’s capital Y, capital O, capital U and I said, ‘Lee,’ and he said, ‘Yes, Jussie,' and that’s when I found out I got the role,” Smollett shared on the red carpet. “That’s the thing about Lee. He’s so old-school Hollywood, you know? He loves to give you a good story to tell.”

Smollett also shared the most transformative advice Daniels ever gave him.
“I keep saying this but he’s changed my life in ways that no one will ever be able to understand — until I write a book,” he teased before acknowledging that Daniels' influence transcended any creative or professional guidance. “As a man, he’s changed my life in a huge, huge way. He’s firmly made me plant my feet in the ground and walk in my truth."
“Just tell the truth,” Smollett repeats. “That’s it. You know, it’s so simple. The thought of it is so simple, but it’s so hard to do sometimes. That’s what Lee is about. That’s what his art is about. He represents that.”

And what can we expect next from his art (i.e. the new season Empire)?

While Smollett wouldn't give any teasers, he joked: “I will say we will all get slapped up. Each one of us, each brother gets at least one more slap, trust me, because Taraji (Henson) just likes to throw in slaps in the middle of rehearsal."

It's all out of love though….LOL!

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Casts 1st Ever Transgender Female, D.Smith
VH1’s #1 Rated cable series “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” is back with a vengeance. Premiering Monday, April 4 at 8PM ET/PT, the competition is fiercer than ever as new and familiar faces work to take over Atlanta’s music scene. This season, the show has cast it’s first transgender female (D.Smith),

D.Smith 1st transgender player on Love And Hip Hop Atlanta

"D. Smith is a groundbreaking music producer who makes her debut as the first ever transgender female in the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise. This Miami-born, Brooklyn-bred Grammy Award-winning writer turned artist has worked with some of the hottest in the game, including Lil Wayne."
"Smith’s defining moment came after being tapped by Lil Wayne to be a part of his most successful project to date “The Carter III,” which sold one million copies in its debut week, one of only three rap albums in history to ever achieve this feat. With her spitfire sidekick and aspiring singer Betty Idol by her side, this dynamic duo will take the Atlanta scene by storm."

"New to the scene is Karen “KK” King. KK is not your average mother – she was previously the vivacious, outspoken “momager” to her sons Scrapp DeLeon and Sas. Through her musical connections, KK brokered major deals for her sons with Akon’s Konvict music and T-Pain. Additionally, she is a longtime friend of Stevie J, who she not only considers a lifelong friend, but also her brother and uncle to her sons."
"Sas & Scrapp set the rap game ablaze as teenagers in a group called Da Razkalz Cru. These days, Scrapp manages Sas to reestablish him as a solo artist. But for Scrapp, relationship drama with girlfriend Tommie, who isn’t shy when it comes to speaking her mind; and Tiara, the mother of his son, is distracting him from the music."

"Tiara is the perfect combination of brains and beauty. She is a reserved corporate dynamo by day and a sexy club vixen by night. Don’t let her prim and proper exterior fool you; Tiara is not one to be reckoned with. Tommie is a charismatic model who is known for her unpredictable antics, rapid-fire wit and her relationship with Scrapp. One thing is for certain, beef between these two may be headed for disaster as they battle it out for Scrapp’s heart."

Janet Jackson postpones Tour dates
Ticket holders received an email from Ticketmaster that said, according to the BBC, “It is not possible to confirm new dates at the present time so we are refunding all ticket holders.”

The British dates was due to start on March 30 in Birmingham; other dates in Glasgow, Manchester, and London were also postponed.
A rep for Jackson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Last year, Jackson postponed dates on the North American leg of the Unbreakable world tour whemn she underwent surgery on her vocal chords. “It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring,” she wrote at the time. “Every date will be rescheduled. Please hold on to your tickets. They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced.”

After the news broke, rumors began swirling that Jackson had cancer, and in January she dispelled those myths with a video. “The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering,” the clip said. “My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled.”

This concerns me. Hopefully she will soon respond! But she is still scheduled to play the Dubal World Cup on March 26

President Obama Will Not Make Nancy Reagan's Funeral
President Obama will be missing Nancy Reagan's funeral due to a previously scheduled engagement at SXSW in Austin, TX.
Former First Lady Nancy Reagan's funeral is scheduled for Friday, March 11 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. However, President Obama has been announced as a keynote speaker at SXSW where he will sit down with Evan Smith, editor of the Texas Tribune, regarding civic engagement and the role technology can potentially play with increasing political involvement and solving global issues. First Lady Michelle Obama, instead, will attend the funeral on behalf of the POTUS and herself. She is also scheduled as a keynote speaker at SXSW, but not until March 16.

Historically it's not uncommon for presidents to not attend the funeral of a First Lady. When First Lady Betty Ford died in 2011, Rosalynn Carter, Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton and Nancy Reagan all attended. Ex-President George W. Bush went because wife Laura had other travel plans. But Obama and former President Bill Clinton did not attend the funeral. Former First Lady Hillary Clinton will be in attendance at Nancy Reagan's funeral. It is unsure if former President Clinton will attend.

Detroit Lions Calvin Johnson Officially Retires From NFL
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin "Megatron" Johnson is hanging up his cleats. On Tuesday, the Lions announced Johnson filed his retirement papers with the NFL before the start of the new league year, which starts Wednesday.
Johnson is known as one of the most prolific receivers in Lions history, not to mention, one of the best in NFL history.
Johnson, who decided against having a news conference, released a statement. Read it below:
"Let me begin by apologizing for making this announcement via a statement and not in person. While I truly respect the significance of this, those who know me best will understand and not be surprised that I choose not to have a press conference for this announcement.

After much prayer, thought and discussion with loved ones, I have made the difficult decision to retire from the Lions and pro football. I have played my last game of football.
Let me assure you that this was not an easy or hasty decision. As I stated, I, along with those closest to me, have put a lot of time, deliberation and prayer into this decision and I truly am at peace with it.
I also want you to know that I have the utmost respect and admiration for the game of football. It has provided so much for me and my family and I will be forever grateful to the game.

With the reality of my decision, I realize there are a lot of people I would like to thank. I must start with my family -- thank you for all your love and support.

I also want to especially thank Mrs. Ford and the Ford Family for all their support over the years. They are tremendous owners and I loved playing for them. I would also like to recognize Mr. Ford, who I was honored to know and play for before he passed away.
While it would be hard to name them all, I would also like to thank all of my teammates past and present.
I also want to thank all of my coaches who I played for, in particular Coach Caldwell for his support, wisdom and guidance over the past two seasons. I loved playing for Coach Caldwell.

There are so many other people I would like to recognize and thank for what they have done for me throughout my career, but rather than risk forgetting someone, I will simply say "thanks" to everyone.
And finally, to the fans of Detroit and Michigan. I so appreciated your passionate support over the years and truly enjoyed playing for you. I loved playing in Detroit and will forever be a Lion. My biggest regret is that I wasn't able to help give our fans a championship. But I do believe the future of the Lions is bright and with the leadership from people like Rod Wood and Bob Quinn, who I have gotten to know over the past few months, I am confident that our fans will soon be rewarded with the championship you deserve.

From the bottom of my heart I thank you all for everything."
After nine seasons, Johnson has had over 11,000 receiving yards, seven 1,000-yard seasons, six Pro Bowl invitations.

What a legacy to leave behind. Best of luck to Calvin Johnson on his future endeavors.

It turns out that this permanent A+ lister/icon who is a little height challenged does have offspring. He just does not want anyone to know it. He met the mother of the child way back at the peak of his career and she raised the son out of the public spotlight. Apparently the son wants to be noticed now though and wants to come forward. The only thing holding him back is the threat of being cut off financially.
He is Prince

Beyonce Priced herself Out of A Star is Born!
For years Beyonce has been attached to the re-make of A Star is Born.

First with Clint Eastwood and then with Bradley Cooper  and Leonardo Di Caprio
Queen B is no longer attached...

Insiders tell Page Six Beyonce priced herself out of the part.
Warner Bros. was negotiating with “American Sniper” star Cooper to direct and star in the remake of the 1950s Judy Garland musical. BeyoncĂ© was being lined up to play the lead, a young woman whose dreams of stardom are helped by an aging icon.
But one Hollywood source tells Page Six, “BeyoncĂ© wanted too much money, and Warner Bros. balked at her price. The production budget was also said to be an issue with the studio, so the project has fallen apart.”

Chris Brown Settles Lawsuit Accusing Him of Stealing Music for “Don’t Wake Me Up”
According to our friends over at thejasminebrand Chris Brown has signed a settlement agreement with the musician to end the lawsuit over the song “Don’t Wake Me Up”. For once and for all.
A songwriter named Nayeri Gregor (aka Nayri) filed a federal lawsuit last year against Chris Brown, Sony Music and Benny Banassi accusing them of stealing her music.

Gregor explained that back in 2009 she wrote & recorded a song entitled “Don’t Wake Me Up”.

Then in 2011, she was introduced to a man named Brian Kennedy through a publicist friend. Her friend informed Kennedy that she was a great songwriter and she played for him that night. He liked the music so much he set up a meeting with her at a later date.

Gregor explained that she created a playlist of her work to bring to the meeting which included the song “Don’t Wake Me Up“. She said that at the meeting he placed her CD into his computer and he said “Don’t worry, I’m not downloading it“.

However, she said Kennedy failed to inform her that he could hear a song once and remember everything from the melodies to the scales after one listen. She claimed he not only downloaded the music she played for him at the meeting but memorized it with his ability to recall melodies.
She said that Kennedy praised her music at the meeting, despite him knowingly full well he was never going to call her again or compensate her for her work. Gregor says she never heard from Kennedy again following their meeting about her work.

Then she accused Kennedy of playing her song for Chris Brown and Benny Banassi and then recorded by Brown and released on his 2012 album “Fortune” and even copyrighted by Brown and Banassi as their own work.
Gregor explained her song and Brown’s song share identical titles, similar lyrics, both begin with spoken words by a female voice and the hook lyrics are identical along with both songs have the same rhythmical figure and overall beat. She filed suit against Kennedy, Brown and Banassi demanding 150k for each infringement along with other damages for their alleged music theft.
Chris Brown fired back, calling all the claims he stole Grego’s track and used it as his own are lies. Brown admitted that the songs have the same title and use the lyric, “Don’t Wake Me Up”. However, he explained the title and the lyric cannot be copyrighted due to them being so common.

Brown said he did not steal anything and added that the woman also waited too long to even file a lawsuit accusing him of copyright infringement.

The singer demanded the entire lawsuit be thrown out and the woman be awarded nothing.
Then on March 8th, despite the singer’s claim he didn’t steal any music — docs were filed by Brown and Grego informing the court that they have reached a settlement in the case. The terms of the deal will remain sealed but per the agreement all claims against Brown will be dismissed and the case will be closed.
