Due to Rating drops! Mona Scott-Young Replaces Most of the Cast of ‘Love and Hip Hop: New York’!
“Love and Hip Hop” executive producer Mona Scott-Young revamped the entire cast of the New York franchise and fans can expect new additions to be added to the crew.

Young was apparently fed up with the drama of the former ‘LHHNY’ crew and the bad ratings of season 8. The producer has allegedly brought back some of the originals members including rapper Joe Budden and his girlfriend Cyn Santana. The couple will allegedly star on the new season and give fans a glimpse of their relationship with their new baby Lexington Budden, according to Bossip.
The source reported that majority of the previous cast-members were fired from the show. Fans speculated cast-mates such as Brittany Taylor, Dream Doll, Snoop, Bianca Bonnie, DJ Self, Lil Mo and her husband Karl Dargan, James R, Sophia Body and possibly Mariah Lynn will not be returning for the new season.

Lynn actually wrote a tweet on Saturday that may have confirmed her departure.
“I think I might be time but I love everyone so much and I’m so grateful for the opportunity,” she stated. “It really has changed my whole life and helped me to learn so much about myself for that I will forever be grateful.”

However, Young does plan on bringing back Juelz Santana’s long-time girlfriend Kimbella and reportedly adding Maino and his girlfriend Maggie Carrie to the season 9 cast. The source reported that the “Hi Hater” rapper received a pretty nice offer of money to be on “LHHNY.”
Other members that are guaranteed to appear on the upcoming season are  Yandy Smith, Jonathon Fernandez, Kiyanne, Jacquae, Anais and her husband Ruben, Rich Dollaz, Safaree, Ju Ju (who will make guest appearances) and viewers favorite couple Remy Ma and Papoose.

The new season for “LHHNY” is still being filmed and VH1 has yet to announce the premiere date

Mona Scott-Young says WE DID NOT offer Kenya Moore Millions To Join Love & Hip Hop! 😲

Mona Scott-Young says WE DID NOT offer Kenya Moore Millions To Join Love & Hip Hop!
Mona Scott-Young has been busy with promotion of her first novel, “Blurred Lines.” During her press run, the mogul dished her thoughts on the latest in her entertainment umbrella, including pregnant Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore.

Rumors sparked that Moore was offered a $3 million payday to join Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta. When asked about said rumor she quickly denied any involvement. Mona responds,
I don’t know about Kenya – what’s happening? We’ve never had that conversation. Maybe she had it with someone else.
When asked details about any of her LHH employees receiving $3 million, she informed,
Well, it all depends. You think about it, 20 episodes over the course – I have no idea what Kenya’s talking about. Let’s put it that way.

As Moore tries to maintain a healthy space and balance for her growing belly, she also has been trying to preserve the status of her peach.

A number of rumors have been circulating in regards if the pregnant newlywed will be returning for an eleventh season or if she would be a part-time housewife with no peach. Moore silenced rumors briefly, when she said assured fans she had not been let go and that she was reviewing her RHOA contract.
New reports are claiming Moore will not be returning for an eleventh season. It’s been said producers,
offered her [a] part-time [role] and she didn’t want the reduction in pay. So she’s out.

Moore joined the franchise during it’s fifth season in 2012. She’s yet to comment about the situation.

Kenya just go relax have your baby and enjoy your Husband and live life!

Are you ready for “Love & Hip Hop London”? VH1 is Prepping “Spin-Off!

VH1 Prepping “Love & Hip Hop London” Spin-Off
The Love & Hip Hop franchise is expanding! Rumor has it, the hit VH1 series is heading across the pond, prepping Love & Hip Hop: London. Details are scarce at this point, but sources tell us that they’re already casting for London and filming has already began.

Over the past few days, a few of the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast – Teairra Mari, Bridget Kelly, Brooke Valentine, etc. – have been filming in London, sharing photos and footage of their international trip on social media, along with producers from the show.

Sources tell thejasminebrand that one of the reasons for the London trip is to introduce some of the Hollywood cast to the London cast.

Love & Hip Hop documents the personal and professional lives of several hip hop and R&B musicians, performers, managers, and record producers residing in varying regions throughout the United States.
The original franchise version, Love & Hip Hop: New York, premiered on March 6, 2011. Its success resulted in spin-offs located in Atlanta, Hollywood, and Miami.

The series is known for its sprawling ensemble cast, with over 200 cast members. The franchise has generated controversy since its inception, and is often criticized for tending towards a narrative format more commonly seen in scripted genres such as soap operas, and appearing to fabricate much of its storyline. However, it is one of the highest rated unscripted franchises in cable television history.
The show has aired continuously since May 15, 2014, with an incarnation of the franchise airing nearly every Monday on VH1. As of June 11, 2018, 301 original episodes of New York, Atlanta, Hollywood and Miami have aired over twenty seasons.

What are your thoughts on the potential Love & Hip Hop: London spin-off?

The REAL Xscape Reality Show will be Headed to Bravo and NOT TV One! 😜

The REAL Xscape Reality Show will be Headed to Bravo!
Xscape slams TV One’s biopic and will be working with Mona Scott Young on an official biopic.

“We are excited to join forces with Mona Scott-Young and Monami Entertainment to bring the real Xscape story to the world,” said Xscape in a statement. “This partnership will allow us to tell our story about our lives the way we lived it. It’s our truth about the rise, the fall, and the return of Xscape. We feel the recent announcement of an unauthorized biopic on our lives is disrespectful and disappointing. We are not, in any way, participating in that project and it will never ‘represent’ our true story.”

According to reports the ladies are currently filming their doc-u-series that will air on Bravo in November following the premier of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Mona Scott-Young will serve as executive producer.

Are you ready for an Xscape reality show? Will it be raunchy and rached like Mona's other productions? STAY TUNED!

Milan Christopher addresses not being on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood!

Milan Christopher has addressed not being on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood!
In an exclusive interview with our friends over thejasminebrand.com Milan Christopher former cast member of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood says he didn’t know why he was fired, sources speculated that he had been in negotiations to return to the show. However, Milan says this is false and even addresses how fans are reacting to his absence.

Check out the interview below with TJB!

TJB: We recently published a story about your departure from Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Do you know why you aren’t on this season?
"Milan Christopher: I honestly don’t know. Like many of the thousands of fans demanding an answer all over social media right now, there was no explanation given to them nor me. I just never heard anything from anyone despite being told during our filming of our last reunion I was definitely returning to the show."

TJB: Were you ever in contract negotiations?
"MC: Nope. I never heard from anyone once the second season casting started – except for some personal one-on-one’s with Mona [Scott-Young] here and there; but never even got to a point where contract negotiations had begun."

TJB: Was there a financial issue regarding your contract?
"MC: Nope, sure wasn’t. Had we got to that point, as a returning cast member I would have certainly tried to attempt to gage more options, but no conversation was ever had so there was no issue."

TJB: Did you have any issues while filming last season? And were there any issues while you filmed the reunion?
"MC: There were plenty of issues, I mean it’s reality TV. So it’s always drama, revelations, issues and more drama."

TJB: Your fans seem to be really disappointed that you aren’t on this season. What would you like to say to them?
"MC: I want to thank all my fans and supporters and all the thousands and thousands of people who have been going completely haywire on social media about my absence. It’s pretty inspiring to know that so many people looked up to me and have my back. As long as you guys’ voice is being heard and you guys continue to support me like you’re doing, there will be many, many more opportunities for us to breakthrough and make a change! I really love you guys!"

TJB: Have you had any conversations with Vh1 or producers on the show about your departure?
"MC: Nope — [I] haven’t heard anything from them at all, but I wish them and Love & Hip Hop an awesome season!"

TJB: There have been reports that you are working on your own reality show. Can you share any details?
"MC: I am. I came up with several ideas and shot some stuff and am still shopping them around."

TJB: What else would you like to share?
"MC: I would like to say I really loved my job’s end result as far as Love & Hip Hop was concerned, because although the place that it holds in the reality TV world can come across obscure or as the French might say “RACHET”, exposing “A REAL” LGBT lifestyle storyline to the demographic that watches the show was for the better good of our culture. And although I’m not on this season of the show, and as disappointed as I am, millions of others who finally felt the LGBT community was being finally represented through me — I will always be grateful and thankful to Mona Scott Young, Vh1 and Love & Hip Hop for enhancing myself, and the people I represent."

TJB: Is there is anything that you’d like to address that we previously published?
"MC: I always find it so interesting when people like to give personal details about another’s individuals business as fact but want to do so anonymously. I always found that crazy because when it comes time to fact check they b.s. You can’t. If you’re going to be a source, be a reliable one. Be you and stand behind your words. Anytime a person can’t and doesn’t do that I can almost guarantee 99% what they are saying is some felonious bull sh*t."

Well there you have it……I guess? Shout out to thejasminebrand for the interview!
