Winnie Harlow wants to make it clear that she isn’t a role model in ELLE Canada‘s February issue, hitting newsstands on January 5, 2017!
“I feel like I am an inspiration. That’s the word I prefer,” the 22-year-old model-on-the rise told the mag. “I don’t believe that I have to be a role model, someone to be emulated. My mom inspires me, and I take great things from her, but there are things from my mom that I would never do. So I don’t have my mother as a role model, but I do have her as a huge inspiration.”
On feeling comfortable in her own skin: “As a child, I really hated it. I think, regardless of my skin condition, my mom is very conservative with dressing—like, when she’s helping me do laundry and she sees a thong, she’s like, ‘What is this dental floss in your laundry basket?’ With my skin, I have to avoid direct contact with the sun, so that combined with my mom being conservative meant I grew up wearing stockings under shorts and long sleeves under tank tops. It was kind of embedded in me that I was supposed to be covering up. As I grew up, people would still stare, but, I don’t know, me feeling uncomfortable just disappeared. I’d be walking out with friends and they’d be like, ‘Don’t you feel everyone staring?’ and I’d be like, ‘No, I actually don’t. I just don’t care.’”
On not being spokesperson for her skin condition vitiligo: “I’m very sick of talking about my skin. I’m just living life. And if that inspires you, I’m proud, but I’m not going to put pressure on myself to be the best person in the world and tell everyone I have vitiligo. If you want to know about it, you can do your research. Either way, I’m not in the dictionary under ‘vitiligo.’”

According to a new Instagram post, Kenya Moore is now revealing that she’s filthy rich as the year is coming to an end.
Maybe Kenya wants to say and do things to make Matt feel bad about the way he has treated her, as she knows that she had a lot more money than him. While Moore has worked hard behind the scenes in the film and music industry, Matt has a lengthy criminal record with plenty of mug shots to prove it. And while Kenya Moore may just be worth $1.5 million in her official net worth, she claims she’s actually quite rich.
“I’m filthy rich. Thank you #family for loving me,” Kenya Moore revealed on Instagram, but she wasn’t talking about money. Instead she was talking about how “rich” she is because she has a loving family, sharing a quote on Instagram that read, “If you have a family that loves you, a few good friends, food on your table and a roof over your head, you are richer than you think.”
#EMPIRE: Jussie Smollet is returning to the silver screen in Ridley Scott's 'Alien: Covenant'
Empire's Jussie Smollet will be at the movies, on the silver screen next year in the Ridley Scott directed Alien: Covenant.
This film is the sequel to the 2012 Prometheus, also directed by Scott, a science fiction thriller about a quest led by two young scientists to ascertain mankind's origins on earth. Their journey leads them aboard the spaceship Prometheus, where they discover evidence of an advanced, intelligent race with weapons that could destroy civilization. With the first movie being received fairly well by critics and consumers, making 404.4 million in the box office, this next installment will be highly anticipated as more information surfaces before it hits theaters on October 6, 2017.
Currently, the story and characters are a mystery. Smollet will be on screen joining the ensemble of Katherine Waterston, Demian Bichir, Danny McBride, and Michael Fassbender who will reprise his role as the android David. Alien: Covenant and its predecessor are both additions to the beginning of this franchise, Ridley Scott's Alien, which had three sequels after in 1986, 1992 and 1997. This continuation of stories in the Alien universe give the director and cast of actors a wealth of history and context to play with in the new film. Ridley Scott gave fans some hints about what they could expect in a previous interview, where he said, "There was always this discussion: Is Alien, the character, the beast, played out or not? We’ll have them all: egg, face-hugger, chest-burster, then the big boy", referring to Xenomorphs, the biological weapons created by the race of aliens discovered by the previous cast of scientists. This is a great chance for Jussie Smollet to establish himself as a household name with film studios in Hollywood.
And it's also a win for PoC representation in film and entertainment. Whether Alien: Covenant will be a hit and if Jussie will bring the heat can only be speculated at this point. But, before then you can catch him back on FOX when Empire returns on March 30th.

New Hip Hop: Mike Will Made-It Drops ‘Instrumental Tuesdays 2016’ Mixtape
Celebrating what has been a major year for Mike WiLL Made-It and his Eardrummers camp, the prolific producer has unleashed a project filled with instrumentals.
Instrumental Tuesdays 2016 features some of the year’s biggest smashes, including beats he crafted for Beyoncé (“Formation”), Tinashe (“Energy”), Young Thug (“Wit Dem”), Future (“Al Sharpton”), and Gucci Mane (“Nonchalant,” “Pop Music,” and “Gucci Please”).
Of course, there’s also a slew of Rae Sremmurd material on here, including beats for “Real Chill,” “Roof on Fire,” “Shake It Fast,” “Start a Party,” and “Black Beatles.” The latter was particularly important for Mike as it marked his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Debbie Reynolds DEAD One Day After Daughter Carrie Fisher’s Death
Debbie Reynolds has DIED after suffering a possible stroke.Reynolds, 84, was at her and late daughter Carrie Fisher‘s property in Beverly Hills Wednesday afternoon when someone from the home called 911.
A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson confirmed that they responded to a “request for medical aid” at 1:02 p.m. and that they “transported one adult female patient in fair to serious condition to Cedars [Sinai Medical Center].”
The Singin’ in the Rain star was having trouble breathing, two law enforcement sources familiar with the incident told NBC News. UPDATE From TMZ They have confirmed indeed that she did DIE!
The news comes just one day after the Star Wars actress died after suffering a heart attack. Fisher, 60, was aboard an 11-hour flight from London to Los Angeles on Friday when she went into cardiac arrest. Paramedics removed her from the flight and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she later died.
T.I. & Tiny May Reconcile Following Divorce Filing
Tiny may have filed for divorce from T.I., but that doesn’t mean their marriage is over. According to TMZ, signs point to a possible reconciliation in the Harris household.
A new report claims that the “Family Hustle” couple has been getting along quite well since Tiny filed for divorce on Dec. 7. The two have reportedly reunited twice since then and a source says “things got romantic.”
With nearly 20 years together, T.I. and Tiny faced a rough patch over “trust” issues, according to insiders, but things have improved in recent days. They apparently even celebrated Christmas together, as a family unit.
Tip and Tiny have been together for years, but were officially married in 2010. They have three children together — King, Major, and Heiress Harris. Tiny has three stepchildren from her marriage to Tip — Messiah, Domani, and Deyjah Harris, as well as a daughter Zonnique Pullins, from a previous relationship.
So far, T.I. and Tiny have not made public comments about the divorce filing.
GoFundMe Campaign Launched To Protect Betty White From 2016
The way 2016 is snatching up celebrities has me as nervous as a dope boy in court.
In the last three days, we’ve lost George Michael, Ricky Harris, and Carrie Fisher. I think it’s safe to say everyone is on high alert and praying our living legends stay with us a little while longer.
Demetrios Hrysikos went as far as launching a GoFundMe campaign to protect Betty White from 2016.

Help 2016 catch these hands if it goes anywhere near Betty White! If she’s okay with it I will fly to where ever Betty White is and keep her safe till Jan 1 , 2017. Now , assuming she doesn’t want a strange Greek standing gaurd outside her door all monies will be donated to the Spartanburg little theater to help craft new stars of stage and screen to carry mantle of the legends that have left is this year.
While the campaign sounds ludicrous, it has raised over $2,700 as of Wednesday morning.

Queen Latifah’s Mercedes Benz Stolen At Atlanta Gas Station
Last week, Queen Latifah became a victim of an unfortunate crime trend that has plagued Atlantans this holiday season.
Thieves stole the rapper and actress’ car from a south Fulton County gas station on December 20.
Fulton County Police said another driver was driving Queen Latifah’s vehicle alone when someone stole her car. The ordeal happened on the evening of December 20, at the Shell gas station on Fulton Industrial Boulevard.
Police said, in their report, the driver of the 2015 Mercedes Benz S63 was pumping gas when a white BMW pulled up beside him, then he heard the vehicle ignition start and saw Ms. Latifah’s vehicle speed off.
Police then made contact with the owner of the vehicle, identified by Queen Latifah’s real name, Dana Owens.
Police said Atlanta officers tracked down the vehicle to an apartment complex on McDaniels Street in Southwest Atlanta; security said they spotted three males near the vehicle, as well as a white BMW and another Dodge Charger (a similar vehicle was reported stolen in College Park).
Police said in their report, Ms. Owens inspected the recovered vehicle, and found lemonade and fruit punch bottles left behind by the thieves.
Queen Latifah has been in the city shooting Lee Daniels‘ new Fox series, “Star.”
Wherever you are…please be extra careful and pay close attention to your surroundings at all times.

Back in September, Obnoxious Blog reported over the weekend that Bishop Eddie Long had been admitted to the hospital in Atlanta and had only been given months to live.
Here is an update on the news. The executive administrator of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, said Tuesday that Long is not in the hospital, writes the television news outlet:
The church also released a statement from Bishop Long.
“I am recovering from a health challenge that I trust God to deliver me from. It is unrelated to the eating for life diet consisting of mostly raw vegetables that I am continuing, as part of a holistic approach to good health.t this time my family and I are requesting that you respect our privacy.I truly appreciate your prayers and support for me, my loved ones and my beloved New Birth Church Family.”

Drake and J.Lo are going public with their relationship.The superstar duo seemed to confirm their budding romance on Tuesday (Dec. 27), when they shared a photo of themselves, cuddled up in a gentle embrace.
Although neither shared a caption to go along with the flick, it falls on the heels of rumored romance. In early December, Drake sparked the love talks when he attended Jennifer Lopez’s “All I Have” show in Las Vegas. “Sure I’ll hold your diamond encrusted fitted while you catch this Vegas body,” Drake wrote on IG.
Things seem to be heating up. The couple soon shared an intimate dinner at Delilah in West Hollywood. Sources told E! News that the two were “seeing each other” and that “they have great chemistry.”
Over the weekend, fans also noticed that Drake’s on-again, off-again love Rihanna unfollowed J.Lo on Instagram. The two had been friendly in the past, with RiRi sending Jennifer handwritten notes and a pair of her Manolo Blahnik boots. However, it looks like that friendship, at least for now, has hit a roadblock.

About two weeks ago, the Daily Mail published some suspicious photos of Kristen Stewart in Savannah, Georgia. The photos were suspicious because she was seen out and about with model Stella Maxwell. The last we heard, Kristen was loved up with St. Vincent, but it looks like that love affair was over just as quickly as it began, and Kristen moved on with a lingerie model. The whole thing felt very “Leo DiCaprio,” honestly. Well, the latest is that Kristen wants you to know, for sure, that she’s dating Stella. People Magazine reported just before Christmas that Stella and Kristen are really happening.
Kristen Stewart has a new woman in her life. The Personal Shopper star and Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell are officially dating, a source in their circle confirms to PEOPLE.
“Kristen is dating Stella Maxwell,” says the source. “They are having fun.”
The pair were recently spotted spending time together in Savannah, Georgia, where Stewart has been filming a new movie about Lizzie Borden, who was infamously accused of murdering her father and stepmother with an ax in the 19th century.
“When Kristen filmed in Savannah, she spent several days together with Stella, who came to visit her,” a second source tells PEOPLE. “She was with Kristen on the set most days and seemed to have fun.”
The actress and model seemed to be enjoying their time together walking the city streets and laughing together on set. Stewart was also photographed with scraped knees and a bruised face, although it is unclear how she sustained the injuries.
“Kristen also seemed very happy with Stella around,” the second source continued. “They weren’t affectionate, but definitely acted very friendly and like they had the best time hanging out. Stella seems very easy going. She is always very smiley and has a cute personality.”
The source in their circle says it seems the model is staying with Stewart in L.A. Stewart and Maxwell were first seen together at the Met Gala earlier this year, and were pictured leaving an afterparty in the same car.
