Man sexually assaulted, Met on Gay Hookup site, robbed at Center City hotel, police say

Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help in finding a sexual assault and robbery suspect in Center City.

The incident happened on Wednesday around 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Home 2 Suites Hotel on the 1200 block of Arch Street. He met him on the Gay hookup site "GRINDR"

The victim invited the man to his hotel room. Upon arrival, the suspect told the victim that he had a gun and proceeded to sexually assault him.

Police say the suspect also forced the victim to withdraw a total of $1,000 from various ATMs. The victim also was forced to purchase $2,000 in VISA gift cards.

A short time later, the suspect and the victim went to the Irish Pub at 20th and Walnut streets, where the victim and suspect got into a fight and suspect was able to escape on foot.

His name was later released. He is 26-year-old Douglas Spady, who goes by the alias Douglas Casey. He is described as a black male in his 20s. He's approximately 5'11", with wavy hair and star tattoos on the back of his right hand. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, dark blue jeans with rips, and tan Timberland boots.

Gay Man Claims Hate Crime Attack By Group Of Hasidic Men

A gay fashion student claims that he was attacked and beaten by a group of Hasidic men while walking on the street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The New York Daily News reports:

Taj Patterson, 22, was headed home to Fort Greene around 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 when he says more than a dozen ultra-Orthodox Jewish men began assaulting him on Flushing Ave. and yelling, “Stay down, faggot!” “I’m walking down some block by myself and then the next thing I know, I’m surrounded by a group of Hasidic Jewish men and they’re attacking me,” Patterson said. “I was alone. I was an easy target. I’m black. I’m gay, a whole slew of reasons." 

The New York City College of Technology student left for a fun night out with friends, and returned with a broken eye socket, a torn retina, blood clotting, and cuts and bruises to his knee and ankles. He was rushed to Woodhull Hospital and is expected to undergo surgery to reattach his retina.

An NYPD hate crimes unit is investigating. The police report says that Patterson was "highly intoxicated, uncooperative and incoherent" after the attack. According to the Daily News, the attack was witnessed by an MTA bus driver.

Patterson’s mother, Zahra Patterson, 52, said she now fears for her son’s safety.

“I mean, we’ve been living in this community for close to 30 years, so you’re telling me my son can’t walk there anymore?” she said. “You cannot attack people walking down the street.”

Tarence Mitchell, High School Football Star, Stabs Older Gay Lover To Death

Tarence Mitchell initially told officers that he and the victim had been attacked by two men. He later changed his story, telling them that he stabbed Ronald Taylor five times. Bloomfield Police Department

The 18-year-old captain of Connecticut's Bloomfield High School football team has been charged with murder following the stabbing death of a 27-year-old man with whom he says he had been engaging in a sexual relationship since he was 16 years old.

Tarence Mitchell appeared in court, with his lawyer describing him as extremely upset and confused, local station WVIT-TV reports. The Bloomfield, Conn., high school student was charged in the killing of Ronald Taylor Thursday night in the front yard of  Taylor's home. 

Police arrived at the home at 9:13 p.m. after receiving reports that two men were fighting. At the scene, they discovered two men with stab wounds. Taylor was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

Mitchell informed officers that he and Taylor had been in a sexual relationship but that he had attempted to end it. He also said that three weeks ago, Taylor posted a photo of Mitchell on Facebook, captioning the image as "Bloomfield gay football player." Mitchell said Taylor eventually took the image down but threatened to post it again if Mitchell attempted to distance himself from him again, according to court documents. 

Mitchell said Taylor would get jealous when he texted girls and had previously threatened him with a sword. Mitchell told investigators that Taylor texted him on Thursday to say he was coming to his home and it "wasn't going to end well." Mitchell told police that he stabbed Taylor with a knife after Taylor punched him in the face. Officials say Taylor attempted to run away, but Mitchell pursued him and stabbed him again, including one time in the back. 

“He’s never been in trouble,” Mitchell’s mother, Tyra Smith, told the TV station outside a courthouse Friday as she held back tears. “He’s a star athlete, he’s loved all around town, everybody knows him. This is just so shocking. I send my deepest condolences to the victim’s family but my son is not a murderer.”

Mitchell, who has no arrest history, is being held on a $1 million bond. This entire story is sad but when there are so many Men out here why would you go after a teenager? And now look 2 lives are DESTROYED! As this case moves further I’ll keep you guys updated.

Arrest made in Ohio trans murder case of Ce Ce Dove Acoff

The decomposed body of Cemia ‘Ce Ce’ Dove was found in a pond last month.

Police in the Cleveland suburb of Olmsted Township, Ohio, have arrested a 36-year-old man for the murder of transgender woman Cemia “Ce Ce” Dove, 20, whose body was found April 17 in a pond tied to a concrete block and steel pipe.

With the assistance of members of the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force, Olmsted Township police on May 3 apprehended Andre L. Bridges at his residence in Palma, Ohio, another nearby suburb of Cleveland, according to Police Lt. Matthew Vanyo.

Vanyo said Bridges was being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail in Cleveland.

The arrest in the Dove murder came less than a week before Cleveland police apprehended 52-year-old Ariel Castro for kidnapping and holding captive for more than 10 years three young women in his Cleveland house. The sensational news surrounding that case, which captured international headlines, overshadowed the Dove case.

Dove, whose legal name released by police is Carl Acoff Jr., had been stabbed multiple times before being dumped in a pond in a remote section of Olmsted Township, police said. Police said the body was found nude from the waist down.

A resident of Cleveland, Dove had been reported missing on March 27. Police at first were unable to identify the body found in the pond due to decomposition but later made the identification by matching DNA samples taken from Dove’s family members in Cleveland.

Vanyo declined to disclose how investigators linked Bridges to the murder, saying the case remains open.

“There is still an active, ongoing investigation at this time,” he told the Blade on Thursday.

Vanyo also declined to say whether investigators believe there are other suspects in the case.

“We want to make sure that the most thorough, complete, accurate investigation is being done,” he said.

The New York-based National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs, which monitors anti-LGBT violence nationwide, noted that Dove was the third transgender woman of color to be murdered in April.

Kelly Young, a 29-year-old black transgender woman, was found shot to death inside a home in Baltimore on April 3. On April 4, 30-year-old Ashley Sinclair, another black transgender woman, was found shot to death in a wooded area in Orange County, Fla.

“Each year, NCAVP tracks the homicides of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people in the U.S. in which an anti-LGBTQ motive is known,” Chai Jindasurat, an NCAVP official, said in a statement. “However, for many LGBTQ homicide victims, especially transgender women and people of color who are disproportionally affected by anti-LGBTQ violence, a motive is never determined.”

Police investigating the Cemia Dove murder in Ohio have not disclosed whether they have identified a motive in the case.

LGBT activists in Cleveland and the national group Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) denounced what they called a display of blatant insensitivity by the mainstream media in its coverage of the Dove murder.

Local news media outlets, including TV stations and the Cleveland Plain Dealer, initially identified Dove only by her legal name, Carl Acoff, which was released by police. Some media reports repeatedly referred to her as “he,” even though authorities reported the body was found partially dressed in female clothes.

Activists urged media outlets to follow the Associated Press guidelines for covering the transgender community, which call for referring to transgender people by the gender with which they identify and by the name that reflects that gender.

TEEN Brutally attacked. All because of being GAY!

A teen girl is recovering at home after being injured in an attack by a group of adults. Her family said after talking with police, they believe she's a victim of a hate crime.
It happened early Tuesday morning on Taylor Boulevard near Wyandotte Park.
The girl, who suffered several injuries including a broken jaw was with two younger boys when the attack happened. They said the adults yelled anti-gay slurs at the girl before she was beaten.

"Her jaw is broken in several places and she has to have a plate put in her jaw," said family friend Brenda Hickerson. "She continued describing the 17-year old girl's injuries, "She has teeth knocked out of her mouth and she has scrapes and bruises."

They are injuries Hickerson said that came for no reason other than being gay.

Hickerson asked, "What did she do so wrong but, walk to the store and just be who she is? "
Andi Hornback got a call after 1:00 Tuesday morning. Her two boys ages 13 and 15 had slipped out of the house to get some chips and a coke at a store around the corner with the girl who's a family friend.
Hornback said, "My son called me and said mom, can you come meet us because we feel uncomfortable," he told her, "there are four grown-ups following us a little too close."

The boys said, the men started yelling anti-gay slurs toward the teen girl before they could give their mom the exact location over the phone. Hornback remembered, hearing her son suddenly scream, "I can't even describe it to you," she said holding back tears, "I'm getting ready to cry, hearing my child scream and know that they were hurt and they were scared and I couldn't get there fast enough."

By the time Hornback arrived, EMS and police were there.
One of her two sons suffered a concussion after being knocked down trying to help the girl.

"She was on the ground with blood just pouring out of her face," Hickerson said, "these grown men put her on the ground, kicked her in her stomach, kicked her in her face and punched her in the face and kept going until a bystander yelled stop and called 911."

Hickerson added, "I think she was targeted for being a strong lesbian young girl."

The violence happened in front of two churches. Jeff McCarty, the Pastor of St. James Church said hearing about the beating makes him sad, "How sorry I am that this happened anywhere but, especially in front of our church family," he told WAVE 3 News.

"This was a hate crime," Hickerson said, "There were hate slurs and this was not a robbery because they didn't take anything from them."
The boys say the woman in the group of adults didn't attack anyone. They are hoping she or someone who knows what happened will go to police.
Hickerson wants to believe the woman's conscience will guide her, "Otherwise, you are saying that this is right to hate," she said, "and it's just not right!"

Louisville Metro Police confirm they are investigating the assault.
The men are described as a light skinned black male around 5'10'' in his early 20's or late teens. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. Two white males in the same age range, one 5'10, with short hair, last seen with a light colored shirt and pants with an art design on them. The other white male is described as 5'8'', also with short hair wearing a light colored shirt and baggy shorts that went to his knees. The female is described as light skinned around 5'6'' wearing shorts, a gray tank top and white Air Jordans shoes.

The man who eff’d up Keyshia Cole‘s sister’s lacefront has finally been identified as Atlanta hairstylist Corwin Pledget and authorities are even offering a reward!

Atlanta police have identified the hairstylist being sought for allegedly shooting a gun into the floor of The J-Spot Buckhead salon last Wednesday as Corwin C. Pledger, 24 (pictured above) and he now faces aggravated assault and terroristic threat charges.
Pledger allegedly got angry when his client, Keyshia Cole’s sister/reality show star Neffeteria Pugh, went to Derek J.’s salon, to have her hair redone after being unhappy with Pledger’s work.

“The suspect pointed a loaded handgun at several customers and discharged his weapon while inside the business on Pharr Road,” Atlanta police said in a statement issued Tuesday.

Police ask anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477).

Callers may remain anonymous and may receive a reward of up to $2,000, if they supply information leading to Pledger’s arrest

Atlanta Gay Male Beating Victim Brandon White Speaks Out!

Brandon White speaks out on being attacked and called a FAGGOT!

Brandon White, 20, who is openly gay, said he wants justice for the brutal attack he endured at the hands of gang members while walking out of a convenience store in southwest Atlanta. The men called him "faggot" over and over and posted video of the attack online.
At a packed press conference, White, standing at about 5 feet tall and surrounded by supporters and organizers, said he at first didn't report the incident to police because the video of his beating by gang members was “embarrassing and humiliating.”

But, he added, he hopes by speaking out – to the police and the public — he can help other gay people stay safe.
“I feel that I was very violated,” White said. “I thought that … if a straight person could walk to the store and not have a problem I should be able to do the same thing. I shouldn't have to worry about whether or not I should have to look over my shoulder or if this person is going to attack me or that person is going attack me for just being a gay male.

“I could have died that day. They're monsters,” he added.

Mayor Kasim Reed put up a $10,000 reward today for anyone who leads to the arrests of the assailants, doubling it from a $5,000 award he announced yesterday.
White said that because the gang members decided to upload the video to WorldStarHipHop.com early this week, where it was picked up by The Smoking Gun and went viral, he felt it was his responsibility to share his story. The undated video was posted with the headline, "Dead Wrong: Man Wearing Skinny Jeans Gets Sucker Attacked & G'z Throw a Tire On Him for Being Gay."

“Jack City, no faggots,” a man says at the start of the video. “Jack City” is an apparent reference to a street gang.

“By them going public, I feel they wanted the attention,” White said.
He said the gang members apparently wanted to show how “brave” they were in a three-against-one attack. He also said he has seen the video of his attack and described it as “very, very brutal.”

“In my opinion, I'm the brave one,” he said to applause.

White said he did not know he was being videotaped when he was attacked leaving the convenience store on McDaniel Street in the Pittsburgh community. The store is a well-known haven for crime, according to White as well as other residents of the neighborhood. A push is being made to shut it down.

White said he heard them shouting “faggot” at him repeatedly but did not know any of his assailants.

“I want justice served,” he said.

White said he's lived in the Pittsburgh neighborhood for about eight months but never felt threatened in the community until the day he was attacked. Atlanta police, who have interviewed White, said the attack occurred Saturday, Feb. 4.
The APD and the U.S. Attorney are investigating the attack as a possible hate crime. Because Georgia is one of five states without a state hate crime law, the attackers would have to be prosecuted under the federal statute, the Byrd-Shepherd Hate Crimes Act. Some activists are urging lawmakers to see this attack as a need to call for Georgia to pass a state hate crimes law.

White said he would like to see the men who attacked him prosecuted under the federal statute.

“They said it themselves,” he said of their anti-gay slurs.
For other LGBT people who have been attacked for who they are, White said it is important to talk to someone about what happened.
“Say something. Speak to someone. Don't hide yourselves,” he said.

A rally in the Pittsburgh community at the site of the attack is planned for Saturday.

Transgender Woman, Chrissy Polis, McDonald's Beating Victim,Faces Disorderly Charges 

The 23-year-old transgendered woman whose videotaped beating in a Rosedale McDonald's went viral over the Internet is facing a disorderly conduct charge after an argument with a police officer in Baltimore County.
Chrissy Lee Polis, free on $7,500 bail, faces a trial in District Court in February. She did not return calls to a phone number listed in court documents.


A Baltimore County police officer arrested Polis at her Essex apartment on Dec. 3, alleging in court charging documents that she became disorderly and shouted obscenities when she became dissatisfied with the way he handled her complaint. Polis had called police saying that her Chocolate brand purse, cell phone and $800 in cash had been taken in a robbery.
Polis was charged as Christopher Lee Polis. Baltimore County's top prosecutor and a county police spokeswoman confirmed that the suspect is the same person who was assaulted at the McDonald's in April after she tried to use the woman's bathroom.
That case attracted national attention and prompted changes in hate crime statutes in jurisdictions across Maryland. On Monday, the Howard County Council toughened its hate crime laws as part of a law proposed after the Polis case.

A 19-year-old woman pleaded guilty to assault and a hate crime count for beating Polis at the McDonald's and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with all but five years suspended. A 14-year-old girl was found responsible in juvenile court.
The latest incident occurred Dec. 3 near Polis' Essex apartment. Polis told the officer that she was walking home and attacked outside her apartment building by a man wearing a black and white striped hooded sweatshirt.
She told police the man hit her in the head with an unknown object and stole her purse. But the officer taking the report said Polis "gave several different variations of his recollection of the events" and "became very agitated."


The officer wrote in charging documents that Polis screamed profanities and disrupted the neighborhood. The officer said Polis let him into her apartment, which he described as having a mattress but no furniture.
The officer said in the court documents that one neighbor saw a man in a black and white striped hooded sweatshirt knocking on Polis' door, but that she did not open it. Several other neighbors said they did not hear an attack or screaming. Polis told the officer that "as the robbery was occurring [she] was screaming and even chased the suspect," according to the report.
Charging documents say that Polis became agitated again and "was causing a major disturbance in the neighborhood and would not lower his voice even though I was continually advising him to do so. ... [she] continued to scream, 'You don't know who I am. I will have you fired ..."
Det. Cathy Batton, a spokeswoman for the Baltimore County Police Department, said this morning that detectives are investigating Polis' complaint of being robbed.

J.R. Martinez Wins ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 13

After an emotional – and at times controversial — season, army veteran and former “All My Children” actor J.R. Martinez bested 11 celebrities to become the newest ballroom champion, alongside his partner and first-time mirrorball champ, professional dancer Karina Smirnoff.
“First and foremost, I want to thank everybody who voted for us for 10 weeks. Thank you America for believing in us,” J.R. said.

Turning to Karina, J.R. praised the woman who took him to the big win.
“You are amazing, and I’m so grateful that I was able to be part of your first mirrorball trophy,” he said as she gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke landed in second place, while Ricki Lake and Derek Hough were shockingly eliminated in the first round on Tuesday night’s show, even after they won 30 additional judges’ points — and the leaderboard top spot — in the program’s first hour.
“I’ve loved basically every minute of this…. I’ve done something that I really didn’t think I could do and for someone who is a middle-aged mom, I hope I made my children proud, my fiance and my family,” Ricki, who lost more than 20 pounds while competing on the show, told show co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet.
With Ricki out, it was J.R. and Rob who were the two remaining celebs who danced an instant number with their partners for the final judges points.

Each actually earned perfect scores, but when combined with the viewers’ votes (which accounted for half of their final tally), J.R. landed on top.
It was an emotional win for the military veteran who, throughout the course of the season, shared his dramatic life story and his unbreakable spirit as he competed for the leaderboard top spot week after week, often battling it out with Ricki and Derek.
Going into the competition, the 28-year-old thought he was the least known of a pack of celebrities that included Lakers star Metta World Peace (formerly Ron Artest), former “The Hills” beauty Kristin Cavallari, style guru Carson Kressley, transgender activist Chaz Bono and returning talk show host Ricki.
But, as J.R.‘s dancing skills improved, his support network grew as fans tuned in to see his impressive ballroom feats.
And they also learned about his journey before “Dancing,” including how, at the tender age of 19, J.R. joined the military.

His life changed in 2003, when as a United States Army infantryman deployed in Iraq, the truck he was driving hit a land mine and the subsequent explosion resulted in burns over 40 percent of his body.

One place untouched by the explosion was where his watch covered his left wrist and he told Access Hollywood earlier in the season, as he rehearsed with Karina, that he got a tattoo of that watch to remind him of how he changed his life after the incident.
“It was April 5, 2003 at 2:30 in the afternoon that my life changed forever and it didn’t change in a tragic way, it changed in a beautiful way because I made a choice to change it… and go down that road that was open to me, and here I am today,” he said.
Now, today means a mirrorball win for J.R., adding to an incredible year that also includes being named one of People’s Sexiest Men of The Year.

And he couldn’t be happier.
Hoisting the mirrorball up at the conclusion of Tuesday’s show, J.R. was grinning from ear to ear.

D’Angelo will play at Le Zénith on January 29th in Paris, the Paradiso in Amsterdam on January 31rst and the 02 Academy Brixton in London on February 3rd. No US Dates have announced yet!

Brandon McInerney GUILTY of SECOND Degree Murder of Lawrence King

A white supremacist teenager pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree murder for killing a gay student during a computer lab class three years ago in a plea deal that will send him to prison for 21 years and avoid a retrial.
Brandon McInerney, 17, pleaded guilty to the murder charge, as well as one count each of voluntary manslaughter and use of a firearm, said Ventura County Chief Deputy District Attorney Mike Frawley.
McInerney is scheduled to be sentenced on December 19.

The case drew wide attention because of its shocking premise: McInerney, in a fit of homophobic rage, killed 15-year-old Larry King at E.O. Green Junior High School in Oxnard because he was offended by King's dress and how the victim interacted with him.
Larry King's father, Greg King, told KABC-TV he understands why prosecutors agreed to the plea deal.
'I don't think that 21-year sentence is justice for my son, but I understand the reality that was facing the DA of trying to convict a defendant who was 14 ... when he committed the murder,' Greg King said.
Comic Ellen DeGeneres, a lesbian, weighed in on her talk show shortly after the shooting and said gays shouldn't be treated as second-class citizens.

McInerney was only 14 at the time of the February 2008 shooting.
Several jurors said after the teen's trial earlier this year that he should never have been tried as an adult.
A mistrial was declared in September when jurors couldn't reach a unanimous decision on the degree of guilt. The panel took a series of votes, the last one with seven jurors in favor of voluntary manslaughter and five supporting either first-degree or second-degree murder.
The trial had been moved from Ventura County to Los Angeles because of pretrial publicity.
Frawley said prosecutors agreed to the plea deal because of uncertainty about what might result from a second trial.
'We took that into account and looked at what it would take to protect the community,' Frawley said.
'The total time in custody for 25 years will do that.'
The murder conviction will be stayed, and the plea deal calls for McInerney to be given the harshest sentence under California law for voluntary manslaughter - 11 years - and use of a firearm - 10 years, Frawley said. McInerney is ineligible for time served or good behavior because he pleaded guilty to murder.

Prosecutors had previously offered a plea deal that would have sent McInerney to prison for 25 years to life, but his attorneys passed.
A phone message left with defense attorney Robyn Bramson was not immediately returned.
Eliza Byard, executive director of the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network, said in a statement the plea agreement ends a tragic chapter.
'Ventura County along with communities and school districts everywhere must come together to promote a culture of respect and nurture the true potential found in every individual regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression,' Byard said.

King was shot twice in the back of the head in front of stunned classmates. Authorities maintained the shooting was premeditated and deserving of a murder conviction.
During the trial, prosecutors noted at least six people heard McInerney make threats against King in the days before the shooting.
Prosecutors also contended McInerney embraced a white supremacist philosophy that sees homosexuality as an abomination.
Police found Nazi-inspired drawings and artifacts at his house, and a white supremacist expert testified at trial the hate-filled ideology was the reason for the killing.
Prosecutors, however, dropped a hate crime count against McInerney in preparing for a second trial.
Defense attorneys acknowledged McInerney was the shooter but explained he had reached an emotional breaking point after King made repeated, unwanted sexual advances.
They also argued their client came from a violent upbringing and juvenile court would have been the best venue to try him.

Premiering on Thursday, March 29th at 9pm ET/PT with eight, hour-long episodes, the show will follow the sisters as they strive to have it all.

On the show, we will meet Erica’s husband, Warryn, who is the group’s producer and Tina’s husband, Teddy, who is the drummer in Jay Leno’s band. Outside of the recording studio, we will see Erica and Warryn are expecting their third child and Tina and Teddy raising a blended family of four.

There will also be appearances by the sisters' very large, extended family of seven siblings, and their parents, who have been married and divorced three times to each other, and now currently separated I can't wait to meet them!

Rapper DMX and estranged wife Tashera Simmons have agreed to appear on an upcoming VH1 reality show about their marriage, their kids and all of his trips in and out of jail.
The couple separated in July 2010 after 20 years together, but with four kids, they're not ready to call it quits.
A source said DMX feels that Tashera is “one of the only people [he] truly ever loved and has been down with him through thick and thin.”

The show is called "Relationship Rehab" and will address the six children DMX fathered during their marriage.

At least in Florida she did; A 'fake doctor' suspected of injecting a woman's bottom with cement, super glue and tyre sealant to give her a more 'shapely' rear has been arrested.
Transgendered woman Oneal Ron Morris, who by his own picture appears to have undergone the 'butt-boosting' procedure himself, is accused of administering the potentially lethal shots to at least one victim.
The 30-year-old, who police say is a man but appears to look like a woman, was detained in Florida yesterday for the alleged incident in May 2010. Miami Gardens Police Department Sgt William Bamford said Morris first met with the as-yet unidentified victim to discuss the procedure.
He said: 'They agreed on the price of $700, which was intended for cosmetic purposes.'
But instead, police say the victim was given a series of injections containing cement, mineral oil and Fix-A-Flat tyre inflator and sealant.

The incision was sealed with super glue. Shortly after the surgery was carried out, she went on to suffer 'severe complications'.
Bamford told WPLG: 'A short time later, she develops very serious pains, abdomen, throughout her body. She knows something is wrong.'
He said the woman visited two local hospitals, before heading to Tampa General Hospital, where she received treatment. She had developed an infection of drug-resistant bug MRSA at the wound and also developed pneumonia, but refused to reveal how it had happened.
Doctors at the hospital, worried it was the work of an unlicensed practitioner, reported the case to the Florida Department of Health. But by the time they started to investigate, the victim had left the area.
Morris was eventually arrested in North Lauderdale in March 2011. He has been charged with practising medicine without a license and causing bodily harm.
The alleged incident is the latest in a long line of instances where women have suffered complications following illegal bottom enhancement procedures.

n February, 20-year-old British student Claudia Aderotimi, from London, died following a cosmetic buttocks injection administered in a Philadelphia hotel room.
In January, Whalesca Castillo, an unlicensed practitioner in New York City, was arrested for running an illegal business out of her home injecting women with liquid silicone in the buttocks and breasts.
And in 2010, a Miami woman, Ana Josefa Sevilla, was charged with a similar crime after one of her clients ended up in the emergency room with complications.

UhOh….Is Demi Moore planning to “financially punish” Ashton Kutcher in the divorce?

There are twenty-million stories about Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher this weekend, and almost all of them are pretty tedious and boring. Here’s an honest question: do you think Demi Moore really cares about money? Yes, she’s very rich (her production company makes her a lot of money), but do you think that Demi cares enough about the money to really fight tooth and nail about it during her divorce? I don’t. Anyway, here are some highlights from various stories:

*Ashton is keeping up with his professional obligations – he was spotted at work on Two & a Half Men after the divorce announcement. Fans say Ashton was “fine” and “very professional” and “business as usual” on set. Also, “It was a great show. He was his usual self. He seemed in good spirits. He seemed totally normal.” Probably because he doesn’t give a crap?

*Both Demi and Ashton have big premieres coming up in the next few months. Ashton is expected to make the promotional rounds for New Year’s Eve in December, and Demi will be promoting LOL, the film she did with Miley Cyrus, next year. Oh, and Demi has a small film coming out in December too – Another Happy Day. A source says, “She’s moving full force ahead in terms of work.”

*Sources describe the last days of Ashton & Demi’s marriage as a lot of unhappiness and a lot of fighting. Counseling didn’t even help. Shocking.
*The Mail claims that Demi is going after Ashton’s fortune in the divorce. A source claims that she’s instructed her lawyers to “punish him financially.” The source continues: “With a pre-nuptial agreement, Ashton should be sitting pretty. These agreements are designed to protect one’s earnings during the marriage as well as one’s pre-nuptial assets. But Demi is furious, raging in fact – you only have to look at every photo you see of her to see the toll Ashton’s cheating has taken on her. She wants to punish him financially because of the way he has broken her heart. She is talking about going after a share of what he has earned since their marriage on the grounds that she contributed to much of what he has achieved. She is going to give him a bitter fight and, whether or not she wins, it will be an expensive lesson for him.”
*Demi feels like Ashton “violated her trust.” The marriage couldn’t even be fixed by a make-or-break trup to Parrot Cay in the Caribbean, where they stayed at Bruce Willis’s house: “She was a wreck. She believes strongly in marriage and she really didn’t want to spend her middle years alone. But in the end, she just couldn’t see any way of making things work. Bruce told her he is in her corner.”

*Demi and Ashton were all about the threesomes while married, according to sources: “They would have threesomes. Demi liked women and Ashton would bring another woman into their relationship for flings, but they both agreed to it. If he wanted to do anything as long as she knew about it she was fine. It was the sneaky ones when he got caught that infuriated Demi. Demi is attracted to women just as much as men, so she didn’t always get all she needed from Ashton. That’s why she didn’t mind having women in the relationship as long as she was involved.”

Do I believe that they had threesomes? Eh, sure. I don’t think it was a regular thing, though. My guess is that it was a last-ditch effort to save their marriage in the past few years, and that it was more for Ashton than for Demi and her “needs”. I’m not sure that I buy that Demi is all about having sex with ladies, either. I think her needs are about holding on to her youth and maintaining a certain image.

Lady GaGa Denounces Adele Hating Fans from GaGa’s Rabid fan base!

Much to the dismay of certain rabid fans of Lady GaGa‘s fan base, the mind boggling success of Adele‘s ‘21‘ has in some instances overshadowed the impact GaGa’s latest LP ‘Born This Way‘ has made on the charts.
With over 12 million copies sold worldwide within the space of ten months, ‘21‘ has turned the Ms.Adkin’s into one of the highest selling artists in chart history.
This quite unfortunately has also placed her under attack from Ms. Germanotta’s fan base who have taken to message boards across the web to air out their hatred for both she and her commercial feats.
Now GaGa and her team have spoken out against these bullies.
A representative for the star told press:

Lady Gaga does not approve of bullying anyone for their physical appearance, it goes against everything she stands for. A tiny handful of fans may be letting her down.

GaGa herself explained:I wouldn’t condone anything against Adele.
Anyone who would say anything negative about Adele, I wouldn’t support. I love her immensely. She’s very sweet. We’ve exchanged emails about our mutual love.
I wish her all the best for her recovery in her vocals, and I can’t wait to hear her new music. She’s an amazing success in the U.S. and in the U.K., and it’s wonderful to see such strong women thriving in pop music.

Kudos to GaGa for speaking out against what quite frankly is disgusting behavior.
Here’s to hoping her comments will reaffirm the fact that there is never an excuse to bully a person. Even if they are selling more copies in one year than your favorite act could sell in two.

Singer Chris Brown can’t seem to get along with Twitter these days as he continues to have words with followers who tweet things that Chris can’t seem to ignore. This is not the first time the singer has gone on a rampage over words being said over Twitter while most of his anger comes from tweets regarding his “incident” with ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. A star studded celebration is planned for Christmas in Washington, D.C.

Justin Bieber, Cee Lo Green, Jennifer Hudson, Victoria Justice and The Band Perry are to perform during the "Christmas in Washington" concert, TNT said Tuesday.

Conan O'Brien is to serve as host of the program, which will air on the cable network Dec. 16, five days after it is taped at the National Building Museum in Washington.
"Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, 'Christmas in Washington' is a holiday tradition benefiting the Children's National Medical Center," TNT said in a news release.
The network notes the concert is attended each year by the president and first lady and other high-profile Washington officials and celebrities.
