Naomi Campbell Bares It All in Never-Before-Seen Photo from British Vogue Shoot
Naomi Campbell turned to Instagram to share a powerful behind-the-scenes photo from her recent shoot with British Vogue.
The 49-year-old supermodel was on location in Kenya for the editorial, which she teased in an Instagram picture posted on Thursday. According to Campbell herself, this kind of nude photo shoot took her years to find confidence in doing.
Campbell wrote an accompanying article in British Vogue, and revealed her struggle to find comfort in her own skin.
“Growing up, I never felt at ease in my skin. At school, people would call me names like Olive Oyl or Twigs, and I felt awkward and inadequate,” she wrote in an article published Tuesday. “The only time I really felt comfortable was in dance classes – then I’d just be present in my body and forget about everything else. When I started modelling, I didn’t know how to pose, so I would do what I had trained to do: move as though I was performing classical ballet, or jump and leap about in front of the camera.”
She added: “It wasn’t until I started working with Steven Meisel that I learned to be still, to quieten, and to mold myself into new shapes. Although whenever I did something like lingerie pictures, I continued to feel incredibly self-conscious. Even in my day-to-day life, if I was in the street wearing tight jeans or leggings, I’d always be sure to tie a cardigan around my waist so that I didn’t feel exposed.”
The supermodel has come a long way since then, showing off her body with comfort and confidence in her upcoming British Vogue shoot after overcoming her insecurities.
“It’s taken me a long time to feel right in my body – it’s something that has come with age, and has really only happened over the past few years,” she wrote.
Campbell’s issue of British Vogue will hit newsstands next month.

Since the first episodes of the hit Fox series in 2014, the Barrington Hills giant has been a set for the show while also lingering on the for-sale market. With the TV show's last season coming, the seller "is allowing us to leverage that," the listing agent said.

The for-sale listing for a 17,000-square-foot mansion in Barrington Hills, which has played the role of of Lucious Lyon’s baronial mansion on the Fox series “Empire” since 2014, at last makes reference to the TV show.
The house, on 8.5 acres on Lakeview Lane in the northwest suburb, has been on the market much of the time since June 2013, when it listed for $15.9 million, and separately has become familiar to fans of the television series. But until Monday, the real estate listing never mentioned “Empire.”
“The seller was hesitant, but now he’s allowing us to leverage that,” said Michael LaFido, the @properties agent who is representing the house. The new listing appeared Monday afternoon, after the home had been officially off the market but still offered on private agent networks since April 2018. Along with the new mention of “Empire,” the listing brought a $3 million price cut. The asking price is now $9.5 million, down from $12.5 million.
The owners of the house are Sam Cecola, who owns the Admiral Theater strip club in Albany Park, and his wife, Geralyn Cecola, according to the Cook County Recorder of Deeds. They could not be reached for comment. According to public records, the Cecolas have owned the site of the home in their names since at least 2003 and possibly longer in a trust that concealed their names. They built the house in 2008.
Set on a piece of land that has lakes on two sides, the house has an outdoor swimming pool and garage parking for six cars. Inside are large formal rooms, a sweeping staircase with a swoopy wrought iron railing set beneath two stories of windows, beamed ceilings in several rooms, and ten bathrooms. The cost to build it is not recorded in public documents. Nor is the amount the Cecolas paid for the land.
From its first season in 2014, “Empire” has shot regularly at the home, usually in three-day bursts, LaFido said. Producers have used cranes to drop a speedboat into the neighboring lake, used a blimp to shine floodlights down on the pool for night scenes and with many shots, “shown that the house is magnificent,” LaFido said. “It’s had exposure of a magnitude that you can’t get” by advertising, he said.
In May, Fox announced that the upcoming sixth season of “Empire” will be the last. LaFido indicated he wanted to strike while the iron is hot and use the marketing boost that the show provides now. His seller, he said, “is okay with it now.” He declined to disclose how much the sellers have charged the show’s producers for using the house.
LaFido said the home’s prolonged time on the market—six years this month—is the result of “the overall Barrington market, which is slow.” Crain’s has reported on numerous Barrington-area homes that have sold at big discounts or lingered on the market for several years.

Trump Says ICE Will Begin ‘Removing Millions Of Illegal Aliens’ Next Week
President Donald Trump, in a Monday night tweet, appeared to tease a massive Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation that he said was poised to begin next week.
Trump said ICE would soon “begin the process of removing ... millions of illegal aliens” from U.S. soil. “They will be removed as fast as they come in,” he said.
The president did not elaborate on what operation, if any, he was referring to — but Washington Post reporter Nick Miroff suggested Trump was alluding to an earlier White House scheme to arrest and deport thousands of families.
The Post and The Associated Press reported last month that officials at the Department of Homeland Security had secretly mulled a plan to arrest thousands of undocumented migrant parents and children in coordinated raids conducted across the U.S. The idea, however, was reportedly shelved due to a lack of resources and concerns about public outrage.
“Usually major operations of this sort are considered ’law enforcement sensitive’ and a closely held secret, not telegraphed by the president,” Miroff said.

Kirstjen Nielsen and Ronald Vitiello were ousted after halting an operation that would have targeted thousands of parents and children in 10 cities for arrest and deportation.
In his Tuesday tweet, Trump also praised Mexico for “using their strong immigration laws” to stop undocumented migrants from reaching the U.S. border.
Guatemala, the president added, was “getting ready” to sign a safe third-country agreement with the United States. The pending agreement would require that people fleeing persecution in El Salvador and Honduras seek asylum in Guatemala.
If Guatemala does sign the protocol, it will be the first Latin American country to enter into such an agreement with the U.S.
Activists have lambasted the proposed agreement. New York-based rights group Human Rights First said in a statement last week that it was “simply ludicrous” for the U.S. to suggest that Guatemala ― which also suffers high levels of violence ― would be capable of protecting refugees.
“The Trump administration is doubling down on its efforts to block, bar and punish refugees for attempting to seek asylum in the United States,” a spokeswoman for the group said, Reuters reported. “These policies put the lives of refugees in great danger.”

The former Dockweiler Post Office, located at 3585 S. Vermont Ave., adjacent to USC, has been rededicated as the Marvin Gaye Post Office. According to LA times, the change came after Rep. Karen Bass (D-Los Angeles) introduced legislation to rename the post office.
“Marvin Gaye’s music has transcended generations and gave the ’70s and ’80s a sound,” said Rep. Bass.
Because of noteworthy hits such as “Sexual Healing,” “What’s Going On” and “I Heard It Through the Grapevine,” and duets singles with singers like Mary Wells and Tammi Terrell, Gaye has been dubbed the “The Prince of Motown” and “The Prince of Soul.”
In 1983, Gaye won the best male rhythm and blues vocal performance and best R&B instrumental performance for “Sexual Healing.” Gaye’s death came as a result of a gunshot inflicted by his father on April 1, 1984, one day before his 45th birthday. In 1987, Gaye was posthumously elected to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and in 1996, he received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Twenty years later, Gaye was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Police arrest suspect in murder of Dallas Transgender Woman Muhlaysia Booker
Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of Muhlaysia Booker. Booker, 23, was fatally shot around 6:40 a.m. on May 18. Booker was killed weeks after being assaulted by a mob in a viral video that made national headlines.
Edward Thomas, 29, was arrested in connection with the attack on Booker. He was charged with assault and released on bond. Police say he is not linked to Booker's shooting death.
Kendrell Lavar Lyles was taken into custody and charged with Booker's murder and two other murders in the Dallas area. Lyles, 34, was arrested for the May 22 murder of a woman after police acted on a tip from the public. Lyles is also a person of interest in the murder of transgender woman Chynal Lindsey whose body was pulled out of a reservoir on June 1.
Police Chief U. Reneé Hall said Lindsey's body showed signs of "homicidal violence." She asked for the public's help to find the person who was targeting LGBTQ victims. Hall expressed concern that a serial murderer might be targeting transgender women.
"We are concerned, and we are actively and aggressively investigating the case," she said, adding that police contacted the FBI to assist with the investigation.
In the days before his arrest, Lyles allegedly shot a man during a drug transaction that went wrong. The man later died.
While working that case police realized Lyles' car - a light-colored Lincoln LS - matched the description of the car that picked up Booker at an intersection on the city's southeast side in the early morning hours of May 18. Police also said Lyles' cell phone placed him in the area of the intersection before Booker was murdered.
Booker and Lindsey are among 10 Black transgender women to be killed in America this year.
Parkland Shooting Survivor Gets Harvard Admission Rescinded Over His Love Of Using The N-Word
Kyle Kashuv, a survivor of last year’s shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fl, is making headlines, but this time, it’s not for his activism for pro-gun laws.
Kashuv recently revealed on Twitter that his acceptance into the Harvard Class of 2023 had been rescinded, just three months after being accepted. This comes after Harvard received news of racist remarks Kashuv made two years ago when he was 16.
According to The Daily Beast, a screenshot claimed to show Kashuv writing the n-word more than a dozen times in a shared study guide on Google Docs. “like im really good at typing n—er ok like practice uhhhhhh makes perfect son??!,” Kashuv allegedly wrote, later using the same slur repeatedly in capital letters.
Kashuv also reportedly referred to black student-athletes as “n—erjocks” in one text message.
In the midst of his apology, Kashuv slammed Harvard, saying, “Throughout its history, Harvard’s faculty has included slave owners, segregationists, bigots, and antisemites,” he added. “If Harvard is suggesting that growth isn’t possible and that our past defines our future, then Harvard is an inherently racist institution. But I don’t believe that.”
As for the fate of Kashuv collegiate career—on Monday, Kashuv said that he doesn’t know where he will go to college now, adding that he turned down “huge scholarships” at other schools in favor of the Ivy League titan.
Meanwhile, William R. Fitzsimmons, the dean of admissions and financial aid, cited “maturity and moral character” in informing Mr. Kashuv of the rescinded admission offer.

The 21-year-old is addressing the scandal ahead of the two-part finale.

Johnny Bananas Gets Cut from MTV Movie & TV Awards After Crashing Stage
Johnny Bananas didn't get his moment in the sun after getting cut from the MTV Movie & TV Awards over pulling a Kanye West.
Luckily, there is photographic proof that "The Challenge" star crashed the stage after he lost the "Reality Royalty” award to the cast of "Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta."
"We finally won! After all these years, it's about time MTV finally gives 'The Challenge' the recognition it deserves," Bananas proclaimed when he got a hold of the microphone.
Kanye West did not attend the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards, but his spirit was alive and well as reality star Johnny Bananas decided to jump on stage to accept an award he did not receive and rant about why his show should have been the winner.
Ultimately, MTV cut the moment from the show and instead the "Love & Hip-Hop" cast returned to the stage later in the show to accept their award without the slippery prankster.
Bananas stormed the stage à la Kanye West after his show lost the award. After he began stealing the show, some of the cast members from "Love & Hip-Hop" noticed Bananas was out of place and tried to forcibly remove him from the stage.
We're told MTV executives were furious over the incident, but it's unclear if the reality star will face any disciplinary action over the incident.
Bananas didn't let the incident sully his good time, however, and was posting tons of pics after the awards show, including a photo-op with "Teen Mom OG" star Cheyenne Floyd.
Bananas captioned the photo, "On this season of Teen Mom ... "
Unfortunately, if the star did upset MTV execs to the degree they would cut him from the show, he needs to put out those fires before he even thinks about tangling with the ladies on "Teen Mom."
Naturi Naughton Reveals Why She Ended Her Engagement She says, ‘I Just Need To Be Happy’
Naturi Naughton and her baby’s father Ben are no longer together, which obviously means they won’t be walking down the aisle as planned.
Naughton talked about the split during a recent interview with Essence, as well as the pressure to get married since she and Ben had their daughter Zuri in 2017.
“I don’t want to be married if it’s not the right marriage and the right person,” said the “Power” actress. “Pressure is really induced by living up to other people’s expectations, and instead of trying to live up to somebody else’s expectations for me, I just need to be happy.”
“A lot of people think that marriage is the quintessential success, but it’s not if the marriage is not grounded in the right foundation,” she added. “I went through a lot of feelings of inadequacy about why did my life not turn out to be the perfect picture story, but that’s just not what was written for me.”
But what actually was written was a song that allowed the 35-year-old to document some of her feelings surrounding the breakup, and it’s called “Stay Too Long.”
“The song is literally about my story,” Naughton explained. “One of the lyrics is, ‘Three months after the baby was born / Your love for me was gone / How could you flip the script on me?/ Love makes you foolish and stay way too long.’ And the chorus is literally how we don’t see the signs.”
There’s no word on exactly when Naughton and Ben parted ways, but she hasn’t shared any photos of him on social media for an incredibly long time. Plus, back in April, rumors started to swirl that she’s dating her “Power” co-star Sinqua Walls.
The chatter began after they were spotted together at the 50th annual NAACP Awards together in March. Plus, an insider said they were seen at an after party at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel holding hands and looking like a couple.
Naughton never addressed the rumors, but she talked about raising Zuri with Ben despite the split.
“God gave me a beautiful child, and her father is great and still in her life, and we’re co-parenting. That’s a blessing in itself,” she stated.

According to Microsoft News: Steve Harvey is hosting a jazz festival in the Dominican Republic in October at the same resort where at least two US tourists have died in the last year.
The third-annual Steve Harvey Sand and Soul Festival is taking place October 10 to October 14 at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana.
The resort recently made headlines after two families came forward to say their relatives died while staying at the resort within the last year.
Their deaths are part of a larger trend of US tourists mysteriously dying while staying at all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic.
Since last June, at least nine US tourists have died while staying at resorts in the country.

David Ortiz – Police ID Man Who Allegedly Hired Hit On Him, Gang Leader Named José Eduardo ‘Chunky’ Ciprián
Authorities in the Dominican Republic are convinced the person who wanted former MLB star David Ortiz dead is gang leader José Eduardo ‘Chunky’ Ciprián, 24.
As previously reported, Ortiz was shot in the back while in the Dominican Republic on June 9.
While Chunky is currently in jail for an unrelated murder charge, prosecutors say he was the one who paid men $8,000 to shoot and kill Ortiz.
Ten other suspects have been named, some who are still at large, but Chunky is said to be the mastermind behind it all as he allegedly instructed the plan over the phone with a man named Alberto Miguel Rodriguez Mota. Another man, Gabriel Alexander Perez Vizcaino allegedly gave him the phone while Chunky was behind bars. That’s reportedly how Chunky told Mota to pay the men to shoot Ortiz. Apparently, seven men and one of their wives carried out the plan.
Documents reveal that a man in prison, allegedly Chunky, contacted Perez to do the hit a week before. He sent Perez a photo of the target for Perez to show the hit men. Perez is accused of then sharing the picture with the men moments before the shooting. Perez also allegedly sold an iPhone 6 for $180 to cover his tracks, but authorities say he was having legit issues with the phone.
On the day of the shooting, a number of men were spotted in two grey Hyundai cars close to the bar where Ortiz was later shot. Two of those men got on motorcycles and got closer to the bar while the alleged shooter, Rolfy Ferreyra Cruz, walked to the venue. He ran after pulling the trigger. The motorcycle driver, Eddy Garcia, was caught by bystanders in the bar.
It’s not clear why he would want the ex-Boston Red Sox player dead. But there has been speculation that Ortiz was sleeping with his wife. Interestingly enough, Ortiz was also connected to a model from the Dominican Republic, who allegedly fought another woman in the hospital where Ortiz was receiving treatment after the shooting.
