Todd Kincannon, Former South Carolina GOP Executive Director, Defends Trayvon Martin Tweets

Former South Carolina GOP executive director Todd Kincannon is known for making provocative statements on Twitter, but his latest series of tweets has caused an uproar on the Internet and even brought on death threats.

During the Super Bowl Sunday evening, Kincannon sent out a wave of racially-charged tweets bashing the game, including one that referenced Trayvon Martin. He Tweeted "This Super Bowl sucks more d*** than adult Trayvon Martin would have for drug money."

On HuffPost Live Kincannon defended his tweets, claiming that they were nothing more than satire, but that they highlight just how politicized the Trayvon Martin case has become. 

"The left has decided that Trayvon Martin was just this perfect little angel," Kincannon said. "He was a thug. He tweeted about drug use. This guy, he was a criminal, and the left has decided to make him some sort of martyr. That is what I don't understand."

Kincannon's inciteful words about Martin didn't end with those made during the Super Bowl. On Monday, Kincannon went as far as comparing Martin to Columbine gunmen Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris.

Speaking to HuffPost Live's Jacob Soboroff and Alyona Minkovski, Kincannon tried to argue that the response to his statements are because he is a conservative. He said he understands some find his words to be "tasteless," but that it's time for Americans to be able to say what they actually think without being afraid.

"I stand for free speech and I stand for honest speech, and I think more people need to use it," Kincannon said. And I will NEVER understand!  
And they don't understand why Minorities RUN from The G.O.P!

ARIZONA RADIO HOST CALLS OBAMA A ‘MONKEY'!

Barbara Espinosa, the host of an Arizona radio show called “Hair on Fire,” called the President a “monkey” on a recent radio segment. “I don’t believe in calling him the first black president,” she said, “I voted for the white guy myself. I call him a monkey.” When outrage erupted over her racist comments, Espinosa went on the Internet to defend herself. In one comments section, she linked to a Google image search of the words “Obama as monkey cartoon” and wrote, “With a last name of Espinosa I’m anything but racist.” She also wrote a post on her website titled “YES! I Did Use the Word Monkey and Obama in same sentence…” You can listen to her original comments here:

She goes on to say with a last name of Espinosa I’m anything but racist.

That's from the same comment. Apparently, you can play the race card, but only if you're conservative.
And today, on her own website, she climbs up on the cross while simultaneously doubling-down:
YES! I Did Use the Word Monkey and Obama in the Same Sentence

In the article, she copies and pastes the Wikipedia on monkeys and highlights this section:
Monkeys are generally considered to be intelligent.

I believe she may think that this is... complimentary? Justification? Help me out here.
But she doesn't stop, oh no. Remember George Allen's "macaca" comment (of course you do). Well, she just keeps quoting Wikipedia...

Tailless monkeys may be called "apes", incorrectly according to modern usage; thus the tailless Barbary macaque is called the "Barbary ape".

In a state where racism is more or less enshrined by the dominant political party, this is an extremem example of where it'll go if we don't stop it - if good men and women don't push back against horrible people like Barbara Espinosa.

And that's the real tragedy of this. She doesn't know she's a monster. She thinks that being able to spew her racist drivel is worthy of praise:

Unless there has been a takeover of America and free speech is no longer allowed and I can be put to death for making a remark, I refuse to take the fifth. 

Good Lord no wonder the polls are close between him and Romney.

Meet Mia Love, The GOP’s newest House Servant

*(Via CNN) – To call Mia Love a minority is an understatement.
She’s a black woman who won an upset primary race to become the Republican candidate in Utah’s 4th Congressional District. If elected, she’d be the first black Republican congresswoman in the House of Representatives.

Love, who has attracted lots of national Republican support, also stands out because of her religion: She’s a Mormon. The politician is a poster child for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ campaign to present a more diverse face to a historically very white church.

“There are a lot of people who have tried to define me as a person,” Love, a daughter of Haitian immigrants, told CNN’s Kyra Phillips in an interview Tuesday. “I’m not a victim, and I don’t allow anybody to put me in a box.”

This is From Efrem; Now here’s the shade, what is it with SOME foreign Blacks who come to America and try to disrespect Black American while kissing the ass of white Americans? The point is that she left her community to be of ‘service’ to another, where they already have certain resources available to them. That’s what gets me. The people she represents is lily white and it does not surprise me that they support her because she promotes their interest. Her tagline about ‘not being a victim’ and not accepting ‘handouts’ is code word for Blacks who accept any kind of help from social programs, regardless of their situation. Basically, she’s not some kind of single mother on welfare with dozens of kids. She’s ‘different’ from those other black people. That’s where she lost me. It’s hard for me to take seriously anyone who was born and  Brooklyn, raised in Connecticut, and had to move to lily white Utah in order to “feel accepted.” Something about that strikes me as “bullshyt.”

But I noticed that even her campaign materials make mention of her father’s quote, Mia, your mother and I never took a handout. You will not be a burden to society. You will give back. This is her orientation. Well Miss Mia I never had a handout neither….a HANDUP YES, But OUT..NO!

It’s funny to me how Blacks like her who migrate from another country and benefit from the struggles of American born Blacks always have some kind of negative connotation about them. Obviously, she did not learn anything at the University that she was at except being a talking head for those who are white and want to recruit folks to Mormonism

And while it’s not just Haitians, they do tend to be color struck. They think that anything white or close to it is right and valued. Again, there are blacks here that think the way she does. I would never support someone like her for office any capacity and hope folks in Utah who have some common sense don’t vote her into a major political office either.

Ken Mehlman: says he’s ‘sorry’ For his Role In 2004 Anti-Gay Marriage Push across the country

Ken Mehlman, the former Republican National Committee chairman and President George W. Bush re-election campaign manager who came out as gay in August 2010, said that he regrets his role in the campaign's anti-gay marriage push 2004.

"At a personal level, I wish I had spoken out against the effort," he told Salon in an interview published Friday, referring to the campaign's attempt to draw out the conservative base by attacking same-sex marriage.

"As I’ve been involved in the fight for marriage equality, one of the things I’ve learned is how many people were harmed by the campaigns in which I was involved," he continued. "I apologize to them and tell them I am sorry. While there have been recent victories, this could still be a long struggle in which there will be setbacks, and I’ll do my part to be helpful."

In 2004, 11 states resoundingly passed gay marriage bans, and Bush publicly supported a federal constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. However, some political scientists have doubted that the gay marriage referenda had much effect on re-electing Bush -- a view that Mehlman shares.

Since coming out, Mehlman pushed for gay marriage in New York, Maryland and New Hampshire. He has also raised money for the effort to support a legal challenge against California's gay marriage ban, Proposition 8. He serves on the board of the American Foundation for Equal Rights, which is the sole sponsor to the Prop. 8 federal court challenge.

In the Atlantic interview where he acknowledged his sexuality, Mehlman said that if he had come out sooner, he might have been able to play a role in opposing the gay marriage bans.

"I can't change the fact that I wasn't in this place personally when I was in politics, and I genuinely regret that. It was very hard, personally," he said.

This is a hard one. This Man traveled the country to encourage states to enact HORRIFIC laws that harm and even caused some Gays to their death. And even now you’re holding fundraisers to those congressman who want enact even worse laws against the LGBTQ Community?

Ahem’ Ken it might be a little too late.

Greg Davis, Mississippi Mayor, Reveals He Is Gay After Audit Reveals Visit To Adult Store
Southaven Mayor Greg Davis Ordered to Repay over $170K

An embattled Mississippi mayor has come out after an investigation revealed that he used city funds to cover personal expenses including a visit to a gay adult store.

The Tennessee-based publication The Commercial Appeal prompted the revelation from Southaven Mayor Greg Davis, after receipts provided by state auditors showed that Davis had spent thousands of dollars worth of liquor, expensive dinners and even a personal vacation, in addition to a charge for $67 at Priape, a store in Toronto that is described by its website as "Canada's premiere gay lifestyle store and sex shop." Davis is said to have made the visit to the shop during a recruitment trip in Canada.

This is what he said after getting busted:

"At this point in my life and in my career, while I have tried to maintain separation between my personal and public life, it is obvious that this can no longer remain the case," Davis said. "While I have performed my job as mayor, in my opinion, as a very conservative, progressive individual -- and still continue to be a very conservative individual -- I think that it is important that I discuss the struggles I have had over the last few years when I came to the realization that I am gay."

Davis, a Republican who ran unsuccessfully for Congress in 2008 on a conservative platform, has been under a criminal investigation for allegedly misusing $170,000 on both city-issued and personal credit cards -- $96,000 of which he has reportedly has repaid so far. "These expenses submitted by Mayor Davis as official events and purchases on behalf of the city are a betrayal of the public's trust, and I intend to pursue the recovery of this money to the fullest extent of the law," State Auditor Stacey Pickering told Fox News in November. "Clothing purchases, family counseling and personal meals and entertainment are in no way authorized expenses for the city and should not be paid for on the taxpayers' dime."

WOW and he still wants to be a conservative???…..I guess can run but you can’t hide!….SMH!
