Prince William for GQ Magazine! HeGets Candid About Princess Diana: 'I Would Love Her to See the Children Grow Up'
Prince William is opening up about his mother Princess Diana and mental health in the July issue of British GQ.
Here’s what the 34-year-old Duke of Cambridge had to share with the mag:
On the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death: “I am in a better place about it than I have been for a long time, where I can talk about her more openly, talk about her more honestly, and I can remember her better, and publicly talk about her better. It has taken me almost twenty years to get to that stage. I still find it difficult now because at the time it was so raw.”
On not having his mother around: “I would like to have had her advice. I would love her to have met Catherine and to have seen the children grow up. It makes me sad that she won’t, that they will never know her.”
On the importance of family: “I could not do my job without the stability of the family. Stability at home is so important to me. I want to bring up my children in a happy, stable, secure world and that is so important to both of us as parents. I want George to grow up in a real, living environment, I don’t want him growing up behind palace walls, he has to be out there. The media make it harder but I will fight for them to have a normal life.”

#RHoA: WHAT? Tiny Harris May Get A Peach and Porsha Williams Is Filming With Who?
Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is going to have a few shakeups with the addition of NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak and the removal of Phaedra Parks. It looks like there might even be a few more RHOA surprises in store as new friendships are made and some old friends who might even join the cast.
Porsha Williams is returning to the Bravo hit without her former best friend, but now that “Frick and Frack” are over, it looks like Porsha had no trouble moving on with another peach holder. Porsha and Kim have buddied up while filming for RHOA Season 10.
According to Bossip, Porsha and Kim have become very friendly recently, which makes total sense now that both are enemies of Kenya Moore. The new “Frick and Frack” (are we getting ahead of ourselves here?) have even more in common than that too. According to the report, while Porsha and Kim aren’t as close yet as Porsha and Phaedra were, Bravo producers are pushing the pair together and even want to give them a cute nickname to further cement (or is it doom?) their friendship.
Both Porsha Williams and Kim Zolciak have shaky friendships with Kandi Burrus. We all just watched Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, where Porsha spent most of the season accusing Kandi of wanting to drug and rape her. After learning that the rumor Phaedra told her did not come directly from Kandi’s mouth, it looks like there might be hope for Porsha and Kandi to reconnect on some level, even if they never manage to get as close as they have been in the past.
That doesn’t necessarily mean Kandi Burruss will be left out or that she’ll be forced to spend all of her time with Cynthia or Kenya. It turns out that Tiny Harris, who is currently divorcing her rapper husband, T.I., and ending her run on VH1, may be joining the ladies on Bravo for Season 10 of RHOA.
It’s not clear if Tiny will be getting a peach or if she’s just going to make appearances but rumors that she may be filming are not surprising at all. With Tiny and Kandi working and touring together again as half of Xscape, it’s almost certain that Bravo will want to film Kandi as she prepares to tour and make music.
There have also been reports that it was Tiny who stepped in and consoled Kandi after learning about the vicious rumors that lost Phaedra Parks all of her RHOA friends and reportedly even lost her the Bravo job too. It would be easy for Tiny to film with RHOA since she’s spending a lot of time lately with Kandi Burruss. There’s also a lot of interest in her private life that many Bravo viewers might tune in to see.
There has been a lot of chatter about who might be added to the RHOA lineup to replace Phaedra Parks. Previously, the conversation centered around Shamea Morton and Marlo Hampton. Both women have made numerous appearances on the show as a friend of the cast. It’s also a common belief that both Shamea and Marlo would jump at the chance to be a full-time peach-holding housewife.
The issue with Shamea or Marlo being added to the show full time is that Bravo fans already know who they are and they aren’t too excited about either one of them getting more screentime. On the other hand, Tiny Harris could be a very interesting addition now that she’s moved on from T.I. and reunited with Xscape. If Tiny does end up getting a full-time spot on RHOA, maybe she’ll tell everyone the whole story about what went down with Floyd Mayweather Jr
#EMPIRE: Do you think Lee Daniels is Telling The Untold Stories Of The Marginalized With ‘Empire’ And ‘Star’?
“I gotta tell you, for the record, I’m bored with Hollywood people of color saying Hollywood owes you something,” Lee Daniels told CBS News in January. “Don’t nobody owe you nothing. I had to fight for everything, from my very first movie on.”
This perspective from Daniels is only a part of what makes him a disruptor. In both his film and TV work, Daniels tells the previously untold stories of the marginalized. With Precious, he followed a plus-size Harlem girl enduring physical and emotional abuse; while in The Butler he told the story of Cecil Gaines—played by Forest Whitaker and loosely based on the little-known true story of Eugene Allen—an African-American White House servant reflecting on his eventful 34-year tenure.
In Empire, Daniels presents a soap opera-style drama with an almost entirely black cast: Loretha “Cookie” Lyon is a powerful woman taking back her record label after a long prison term, while one of her sons copes with bipolar disorder and another reveals he’s gay. In tackling themes of mental illness, the LGBTQ community and incarceration, Daniels once again puts the under-represented at the forefront.
In Star, meanwhile, Daniels put Amiyah Scott in a key role, making her only the second trans person to play a trans character in a scripted American drama series. Scott plays Cotton Brown, daughter of Queen Latifah’s religious beauty-salon manager Carlotta, who wrestles with her daughter’s sexuality in light of her faith, while struggling to reconcile her deep love for her daughter. As always, there are no simple, pat solutions in Daniels’ world.
Aside from his clear passion for music—both Empire and Star are musical dramas—Daniels’ success is founded on the strength of great storytelling. While he may be creating an even platform for those who’ve previously been kept out of the spotlight, it’s also true that his projects are all-inclusive, telling universal stories for audiences all over the world.
#NEWMUSIC: Ne-Yo – Another Love Song
Ne-Yo is bringing love to our hearts and ears this summer with his brand new single, “Another Love Song.”
The R&B crooner has been teasing fans over the past month or so with some loosie tracks, including “Earn Your Love,” the RaVaughn and Candice Boyd-assisted “More Than I Should,” and his remix of Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble.” Today (May 30), Ne-Yo officially gets us ready for his new album with the summery dance song that celebrates falling in love.
Released by Motown Records and Ne-Yo’s Compound Entertainment, the exuberant track was written and produced by Ne-Yo along with Cirkut and Dr. Luke.
“Girl when you smile I know you’re smiling just for me, and nobody but me,” he sings. “Ain’t got no game baby, ain’t go game / Ain’t got no shame baby, ain’t got no shame / And I don’t know what it is when I hear your name / Suddenly I just got to sing / You make me want to sing, another love song.”
Tonight, Ne-Yo will join Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough, and Jenna Dewan tatum as a judge on NBC’s “World of Dance,” which premieres at 10 PM/9 central. The 10-episode series will give dancers the opportunity to showcase their talents and the chance to take home the grand prize of $1 million.

New Hip Hop Video: Teyana Taylor Feat. Migos – Drippin
After gaining everyone’s attention last year for her stunning appearance in Kanye West’s “Fade” video, the singer delivers another erotic performance in the video for her new single, “Drippin” featuring Migos.
Showcasing her curvacious figure in glow-in-the-dark body paint, Taylor oozes seductive bedroom energy over the Harmony-produced track as she sings: “Wake up, I’m horny / Ride up, good morning / Beat it up ’cause I want it.”

OH SNAP! ‘Underground’ Canceled After 2 Seasons and Jurnee Smollet-Bell Responds!
I am completely SHOCKED WGN has canceled “Underground” after two seasons because the network is heading in a different direction.
Tribune Media President and CEO Peter Kern said:
Despite Underground being a terrific and important series, it no longer fits with our new direction and we have reached the difficult decision not to renew it for a third season. We are tremendously proud of this landmark series that captured the zeitgeist and made an impact on television in a way never before seen on the medium.
We thank the incomparable creators Misha Green and Joe Pokaski and the great John Legend, along with the talented creative team and cast who brought the unsung American heroes of the Underground Railroad to life. We are grateful to the loyal fans of Underground and our partners at Sony Pictures Television.
It is our hope that this remarkable show finds another home and continues its stories of courage, determination and freedom.
BET came close to securing a deal for “Underground,” but Viacom pulled out.
Well Jurnee Smollet-Bell, who starred and slayed her role as Rosalee, took to social media to thanks fans of the show for “running” with them for 2 seasons.
She also noted that WGN America has been acquired by Sinclair and their goal is the turn the network into the “next Fox News.”
In the true spirit of “The Black Rose,” Jurnee encouraged fans to make their voices heard if they want a season 3.
She wrote: Listen, we love you all. We hear you…we have the best fans in the world. Y’all been running with us for 2 seasons and are the reason we even got this far.
Unfortunately, it’s true, WGN America cancelled #underground today. They were bought by Sinclair. Google them. They are going in a different direction and want to become the next Fox News. Arg.
I wish I was telling you different news but just know we love you all and are grateful to everyone that has been running with us. Playing Rosalee has been the privilege of a lifetime.

Ariana Grande’s Manchester Benefit Concert to Feature Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and More
Ariana Grande’s “One Love Manchester" benefit concert on Sunday, June 4, will feature a star-studded lineup.
The show will take place at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester, and all proceeds will go to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, which was set up by the city to help victims and families who were affected by the May 22 suicide bombing at Grande’s show. Some of the acts confirmed for the fundraising event include Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Take That and Niall Horan.
The concert will be broadcast on BBC Television, BBC Radio and Capital Radio Networks. It will also be livestreamed via a digital partner, which has not yet been announced.
Grande, 23, previously announced her decision to hold a benefit concert in a lengthy statement on her Twitter on Friday, May 26. “I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honor of and to raise money for the victims and their families,” she wrote. “I want to thank my fellow musicians and friends for reaching out to be a part of our expression of love for Manchester."
She also reflected on the terror attack, which killed 22 people and injured at least 59 people. “My heart, prayers and deepest condolences are with the victims of the Manchester Attack and their loved ones. There is nothing I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better. However, I extend my hand and heart and everything I possibly can give to you and yours, should you want or need my help in any way,” she continued. "The only thing we can do now is choose how we let this affect us and how we live our lives from here on out. I have been thinking of my fans, and of you all, non stop over the past week."
Grande is offering free tickets to fans who were at the Manchester show if they register with Ticketmaster by Wednesday, May 31, at 4 p.m. BST. General admission and hospitality tickets go on sale Thursday, June 1, at 10 a.m. BST

Officer Who Shot Tamir Rice Is Fired for something Else!
CLEVELAND (AP) — The police officer who shot and killed 12-year-old Tamir Rice was fired Tuesday for inaccuracies on his job application, while the officer who drove the patrol car the day of the shooting was suspended for violating a tactical rule.
Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams announced the discipline against officers Timothy Loehmann, who shot the boy, and Frank Garmback, who was driving the cruiser that skidded to a stop near the boy.
Tamir, who was black, was shot outside a recreation center in November 2014 as he held a pellet gun that the white officers mistook for a real firearm. The killing became part of a national outcry about police violence against minorities, particularly black boys and men.
Loehmann was fired because he wasn’t truthful on his job application, Williams said. A disciplinary letter cited his failure to reveal that a suburban department had allowed him to resign instead of being fired at the end of a six-month probationary period.
Garmback was suspended for 10 days for violating a tactical rule for his driving that day. A disciplinary letter against him cited him for driving too close to Rice. Video of the shooting shows the patrol car skidding to a stop just feet from the boy.
The two officers had gone to the center after a man waiting for a bus called 911 to report a “guy” was pointing a gun. He told the dispatcher that the guy could be a juvenile and the gun might be a “fake,” information that wasn’t conveyed to the officers. Loehmann shot Tamir within two seconds after the police cruiser stopped near the boy.
A county prosecutor announced in December 2015 that Loehmann and Garmback wouldn’t be indicted after telling a grand jury there wasn’t evidence to support criminal charges.
After the police were notified that the officers wouldn’t face criminal charges, Williams ordered a committee to conduct an administrative review. He said both officers were disciplined for violating department rules.
“There’s a 12-year-old kid, dead. People on both sides are going to say, ‘It wasn’t enough, it was too much,'” said Williams. “We have to be fair and objective.”
Tamir’s mother, Samaria Rice, expressed mixed feelings about the discipline.
“I’m relieved that Loehmann was fired as he should be. He should never have been a police officer,” she said, but “Garmback should be fired for pulling up so close to Tamir.”
Samaria Rice settled a federal civil rights lawsuit with the city last year for $6 million. She and her attorney, Subodh Chandra, said Cleveland city agencies suffered from systematic problems and that they hope a Department of Justice investigation will lead to rare federal civil rights charges.
“Shame on the city of Cleveland for taking so long to deal with the situation,” said Samaria. “We still need accountability.”

Still going strong! Britney Spears enjoyed a romantic dinner date with boyfriend Sam Asghari on Sunday, May 28.
The singer, 35, looked pretty in pink in a strapless dress and black chunky heels for the holiday weekend outing while her beau opted for a blue polo shirt and black jeans.
Spears opened up earlier this year about her unlikely romance with the 22-year-old fitness model and dancer, which began after they met while filming her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016.
"We were doing the scene where I was doing the walk scene through the hall to go through the door to go to the bedroom, and we were sitting there and waiting and waiting together for like 20 minutes at a time,” Spears told Fast in the Morning With Nathan Fast in January. “We were having to be literally stuck there together, so we were basically forced to talk to each other. … We started talking about sushi and started talking about things we like and were like 'We should go to sushi one day.'”
Spears said that it wasn’t until five months later that she got the courage to actually call up the hunk.
“I found his number in my bag. I was like, 'He is really cute. This guy is really cute,'" she shared. "So then I called him, and ever since then, he is just a really fun, funny person."
The pair first stepped out together publicly at CAA agent Cade Hudson's birthday party in January.
