Zendaya Scores First Vogue Cover and Models Looks From the '20s to Today
It was only a matter of time.
Zendaya has finally scored her first Vogue cover, appearing on the elite fashion magazine's July 2017 cover, sporting bangs that frame her face and a white feathered knee-length Calvin Klein fall 2017 Ready-to-Wear halter dress with black and yellow accents.
The 20-year-old popular Disney Channel star and current Spider-Man: Homecoming movie cast member was touted as the "ultimate style chameleon, able to pull off virtually any look."
Zendaya also showcases other stylist looks, such as a Prada coat, an Alexander McQueen sequined top and a Dolce & Gabbana jacket and bodysuit.
She also showcases styles from the '20s to today while dancing in a fashion video for the magazine.
Zendaya rose to fame with the Disney Channel series Shake It Up! and later starred in K.C. Undercover. She talked to Vogue about her acting career, recalling how she negotiated her current TV role at age 16 and changed it to make it more empowering for women.
She said her terms included having the Disney Channel make her a producer, feature a family of color on the show, have her character be "martial arts-trained" and "be able to do everything that a guy can do" and also change the working title name of the show from Super Awesome Katy.
"I was like, 'The title is whack. That's gonna change,'" she said.
"A lot of people don't realize their power," Zendaya added. "I have so many friends who say yes to everything or feel like they can't stand up for themselves in a situation...no: You have the power."

Chris Brown and Ray J reunite.
Following their fall 2016 song, “Famous,” the R&B singers have surprised fans today (June 19) by releasing a collaborative mixtape titled, ‘Burn My Name.’
The project consists of 10 brand new original songs and only includes additional features on one track (“Let It Bang” feat. Payso B, Jackie Long & Truth KO), along with rapper Vince Staples who appears on an interlude.
Throughout the mixtape, Ray and Chris flex their talents in both R&B and hip-hop. They open the effort with “F**k Them Hoes,” where the fellas fess up to their womanizing ways.
“Lately I’ve been doin’ way too much, I’m ruthless,” sings Breezy. “I’ve been playing stupid, way too much excuses / I know I let you down, pu**y made me lose it / You know my mind is stupid whenever she shaking the booty.”
The project ends with the title track, where the duo sing about their careers and their fires. “Riding around with the devil,” sings Ray J. “Onto the next level / Light that sh*t up and burn that sh*t right to my soul.”

#HIPHOPNEWS: JAY-Z ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM ‘4:44’
It’s official. JAY-Z’s 13th album, 4:44, is no longer a rumor. The highly-anticipated project will be released at 12:01 a.m. on June 30 through Sprint and TIDAL.
In preparation for the project, Hov premiered a snippet of his song “Adnis” on TIDAL. The lyrics to the track show a reflective Jigga, pondering what he never wrote and never spoke to his late father, Adnis Reeves.
“Letter to my dad that I never wrote,” he raps. “Speeches I prepared that I never spoke / Words on a paper that I never read / Proses never penned, they stayed in my head.”
JAY-Z’s complicated relationship with his father has been referenced throughout his career. In the trailer, it appears to be represented by Mahershala Ali, who plays a boxer, and Danny Glover, who appears and disappears as his trainer.
The album announcement follows a reported $200 million deal with Sprint and TIDAL. 4:44 will be available exclusively to Sprint and TIDAL users.

Earlier this month, banners emblazoned with 4:44 mysteriously popped up across the country and online. A trailer for the album appeared during the NBA Finals, prompting speculation about a possible LEMONADE-like visual to accompany the LP.
4:44 will be Jay’s first studio album since 2013’s Magna Carta…Holy Grail, which spawned the hit singles “Holy Grail” and “Tom Ford.”

Kim Kardashian is speaking out after she was accused of putting on blackface for her recent Kim Kardashian Beauty ad.
The 36-year-old reality star says that she was “really tan” when she shot the image, seen below.
“I would obviously never want to offend anyone,” Kim said in a new interview with The New York Times. “I was really tan when we shot the images, and it might be that the contrast was off. But I showed the image to many people, to many in the business. No one brought that to our attention. No one mentioned it.”
“Of course, I have the utmost respect for why people might feel the way they did. But we made the necessary changes to that photo and the rest of the photos. We saw the problem, and we adapted and changed right away. Definitely I have learned from it,” Kim added.

Nicki Minaj Faces Backlash Over Snubbing The BET Awards

While Nicki Minaj has been teasing some of her "best work yet," the "No Frauds" songstress has been facing some backlash over her decision to skip the BET Awards. In an Instagram post, Nicki states that the NBA Awards Ceremony is the only award show she plans on attending. Emphasis on "only," like, all-caps-style emphasis.
The decision is an interesting one for Minaj, who is nominated for best female hip-hop artist alongside Cardi B, Missy Elliot, Young M.A, and arch rival Remy Ma. Many have speculated her recent beef with Remy is the catalyst behind the snub, and haters have flocked crow-like around her social media to call her out.

Carrie Fisher Had Cocaine, Heroin, Ecstasy in Her System According To Autopsy.
According to reports, Debbie Reynolds, the Oscar-nominated singer-actress who was the mother of late actress Carrie Fisher, has died at Cedars-Sinai hospital. She was 84.
“She wanted to be with Carrie,” her son Todd Fisher told Variety.
She was taken to the hospital from Todd Fisher’s Beverly Hills house Wednesday after a suspected stroke, the day after her daughter Carrie Fisher died.
Here’s an update on the situation.
Carrie Fisher had cocaine, methadone, heroin and ecstasy in her system when she died in December, according to an autopsy report released Monday.
The coroner’s report listed sleep apnea as the primary cause of death, with drug intake as a contributing factor. The report stated that Fisher’s family objected to a full autopsy, and coroner’s investigators had access to limited toxicology specimens. The conclusions were based on toxicology results and an external examination of Fisher’s body.
Fisher died on Dec. 27, four days after going into cardiac arrest on an airplane arriving at LAX from London. The report states that Fisher’s assistant was on the plane with her. The assistant reported that she was awake and normal at the beginning of the flight, but had “multiple apneic episodes, which was her baseline” during the flight. At the end of the flight, she could not be awoken.

Peele’s talent as a writer, director and producer has not gone unnoticed; not only did Get Out break box office records, its genius and refreshing perspective has sparked new projects for Peele that will continue to scare and bring the plight of racial injustice to a head.
Universal has already signed on to write, direct and produce a Untitled Social Thriller (working title) to be released Spring of 2019.
And has also been tapped as Executive Producer, teaming up with Bad Robot for HBO drama series Lovecraft Country.
Danielle Brooks Thinks 'OITNB' Season 7 Will Be Her Last
Danielle Brooks was one of the best parts of Orange Is the New Black‘s fifth season and we hope that the Emmys recognize her individually for the first time this year. Sadly for fans, she might not be in the show past the seventh season.
The 27-year-old actress opened up to EW about her future with the hit Netflix series, which might even end with the seventh season.
“We have until seven for sure. To be honest, I don’t know if I want to play an inmate past that,” Danielle said. “I don’t know if I want to do that because I have a lot in me and a lot that I want to share with the world and different characters I want to be able to bring to life. After seven, I think it might be time for me to spread my wings, but I don’t want to speak too fast on that.”

DeMario Jackson’s Ex Lexi Thexton Defends Him After Alleged ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Incident
Speaking with TMZ for a video interview posted on Thursday, June 15, the California resident admitted that while she isn’t a fan of Jackson, she doesn’t believe he is capable of sexual assault.
“Like I said, I was not at all shocked that he got wasted and was involved in some drama,” Thexton told the outlet. “But it doesn’t sound to me like he was predatory or, like, an aggressor.”
As previously reported, Warner Bros. is investigating an alleged inappropriate interaction between Olympios and Jackson. A producer reportedly claimed misconduct in the workplace after Olympios and Jackson, who appeared on Rachel Lindsay’s season 13 of The Bachelorette, got hot and heavy while in a pool on set in Mexico.
“We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico,” Warner Bros. told Us Weekly in a statement on June 11. “We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.”
Olympios broke her silence about the situation in a statement to Us on Wednesday, June 14. "I am a victim and have spent the last week trying to make sense of what happened on June 4,” Olympios, who has hired celebrity lawyer Marty Singer, said. “Although I have little memory of that night, something bad obviously took place, which I understand is why production on the show has now been suspended and a producer on the show has filed a complaint against the production. … As a woman, this is my worst nightmare and it has now become my reality.”
During her chat with TMZ, Thexton said that she feels Olympios “kind of wanted to cover up for herself.”
“All of the conversations I’ve ever had with him when he was drunk, he’s always just, like, really fun and playful and belligerent. I never saw him be aggressive or, like, domineering,” Thexton continued. “I really don’t think that he would take advantage of someone that was, like, almost unconscious and unable to consent.”
On Thursday, Jackson revealed to Inside Edition that he has been let go from his job as an executive recruiter amid the allegations of misconduct. “My character has been assassinated. My family name has been drug through the mud,” he said. “The only thing I want is for the truth to come out. I feel like the truth will be able to come out in those videos.”
Jackson has also since threatened to take legal action. "It's unfortunate that my character and family name has been assassinated this past week with false claims and malicious allegations," he told Us in a statement on Wednesday. "I will be taking swift and appropriate legal action until my name is cleared and, per the advice of legal counsel, will be seeking all available remedies entitled to me under the laws."
