#RHOA: Kandi and Porsha are at WAR AGAIN!
Uh-Oh. There may be some trouble with Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams’ rekindled friendship already. Porsha unfollowed her cast mate on Instagram along with deleting a photo of them from just a few days ago.
The gesture may seem harmless but could be taken as a diss considering the two have a complicated history that was spotlighted the past two seasons of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
“RHOA” alum, Phaedra Parks, allegedly told Porsha that Kandi and Todd Tucker wanted to drug and sexually assault her. The nasty rumor ended up getting Phaedra kicked off the show and caused a riff in Porsha and Kandi’s friendship.
The “Dish Nation” host spent the last season apologizing to what seemed to be a deaf-eared Kandi. However, it wasn’t a shock that Kandi would be quick to forgive an accusation as slanderous and scandalous as that.
Towards the end of season ten and earlier this year, it seemed like Porsha and Kandi were on the right track of becoming friends when they followed each other again on social media and were spotted laughing and talking together while on a cast trip to Miami.
On August 6, Porsha posted a photo from Todd Tucker’s birthday party that read: “#Swipe Lots of fun celebrating @todd167 birthday… @kandi did that for her hubby ❤️? We were lit from the moment we walked in until the end??♀️ #Todd45’ ”
The post is no longer there after receiving much praise from fans that the two were able to put their differences apart and become buddies again.
When a fan page pointed out that the photo was deleted and Porsha unfollowed Kandi, the 37-year-old commented that: “It’s just IG guys please relax.”
She added that it’s only an app, not real life.

#Empire: New Couple Alert? Vic Mensa & Empire Actress Serayah Spotted In Chicago
According to our friends over at theJasmineBRAND. Sources tell them that actress/singer Serayah and Vic Mensa brought them both to Chicago this weekend. The two entertainers were spotted at the first date of Jay Z and Beyoncé’s back-to-back “On the Run II Tour” Chicago dates.
Vic Mensa, who is a Chicago native and RocNation artist, performed as DJ Khaled’s surprise guest along with fellow Chitown native, Chance the Rapper.
Serayah posted videos to her Instagram story, admiring the show.
Fellow “Empire” star Taraji P. Henson and her fiancé, along with comedian DeRay Davis were spotted enjoying the show, too.
However, we don’t believe Vic and Serayah’s “On the Run” sightings were a coincidence. Sources spotted the pair standing outside of the concert venue, Soldier Field, getting extremely friendly.
“Serayah was standing in between Vic Mensa’s legs while he sat on the edge of a curb outside of the show.”
Ironically, they were both a part of Chicago’s Bud Billiken parade the next morning. Serayah captioned a photo posing with “Empire” co-star, Tarhonda:
Both of the entertainers have managed to keep their love loves under wraps. Serayah has been previously linked to rapper Wale and her “Empire” co-star Bryshere “Yazz” Gray.

Rising R&B singer Ro James has just released this brand new single called “Excuse Me”. The song is the first offering from his upcoming sophomore album which is set to release this fall via RCA Records/BySTorm Entertainment.

PHILADELPHIA, PA – JAY-Z’s Made In America festival has added some major star power.
Kendrick Lamar is now scheduled to perform “a very special set” at the upcoming event. K. Dot joins a lineup that includes Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, Pusha T, Tekashi 6ix9ine and Post Malone.
The bill for JAY-Z’s Made In America has been expanded. The 2018 edition of the festival has announced the additions of Pusha T, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Lil Skies and Daniel Caesar to its lineup.
Hov’s annual event in Philadelphia recently made headlines due to a public dispute over its location. In July, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney revealed the matter had been settled and Made In America would remain in its original location at Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
#RHONY’ Bethenny Frankel Draped in Black as She Arrives at Funeral for Dead Ex-BF
Bethenny Frankel is mourning the loss of her on/off again boyfriend Dennis Shields and arrived to pay her last respects at the man’s funeral.
The services for Shields were held Monday on Long Island, and the “Real Housewives of New York” star received some assistance from her driver who had an umbrella to combat the rainy morning.
As we reported, 51-year-old Shields died last Friday inside his apartment at Trump Tower in NYC. He suffered an apparent overdose, and his death is currently being investigated by the medical examiner.
Days before he died, Shields recorded a podcast and spoke on the trials and tribulations of dating Frankel. He leaves behind an ex-wife and four children.
Bethenny has not yet commented on his death.
Ruby Rose Closed her Twitter Account After 'Batwoman' Backlash
Ruby Rose packed up her social media luggage and quit Twitter over the weekend after receiving backlash for her new role as Batwoman.
Last week, Ruby took to Instagram to excitedly announce she was cast as Batwoman for the CW’s huge television crossover event.
The Bat is out of the bag and I am beyond thrilled and honored. I’m also an emotional wreck.. because this is a childhood dream.
This is something I would have died to have seen on TV when I was a young member of the LGBT community who never felt represented on tv and felt alone and different.

Unfortuantely, some folks feel like the 32-year-old actress isn’t qualified to play a lesbian superhero despite the fact that sis says she’s been out since she was 12-years-old.
Others argued she isn’t Jewish like Kate Kane/Batwoman. Then, there were those who came for her overall skills as an actress. Yikes!
Before deleting her Twitter account, Ruby clapped back at her haters writing:
Where on earth did ‘Ruby is not a lesbian, therefore, she can’t be Batwoman’ come from — has to be the funniest most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read.
I came out at 12? And have for the past 5 years had to deal with ‘she’s too gay’ how do y’all flip it like that? I didn’t change.
Then, she exited stage left. It’s unfortunate people can be so harsh and cruel in the streets of social media rather than congratulating Ruby and giving her the opportunity to step up to the plate.
Florida ‘Stand Your ground’ Shooter Michael Drejka Charged With Manslaughter
Last month it was reported, An argument over a handicapped parking spot at a convenience store in Florida led to a fatal shooting and the man who pulled the trigger won’t be arrested under the state’s “stand your ground” self-defense law, authorities said.
Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri told reporters during a Friday press conference that Thursday’s shooting death of Markeis McGlockton, a 28-year-old father of three, is “within the bookends of stand your ground and within the bookends of force being justified,” the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Well today Michael Drejka, 47, was arrested Monday morning in the fatal shooting in July of Markeis McGlockton in Clearwater, Florida.
According to reports, Drejka was booked at the Pinellas County Jail and bond was set at $100,000. It was unclear if he had a lawyer and he has declined comment in the past.
Bernie McCabe, the state attorney for Pinellas County, announced his decision to file charges against Drejka 12 days after receiving investigative reports on the case from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri had initially declined to arrest Drejka after the gunman invoked the “stand your ground” defense, saying his decision was bound by the law.
‘BlacKkKlansman’ Is Spike Lee’s Biggest Box Office Opening In 10 Yearschanel
Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman opened with a promising $10.8 million this weekend. It is the first Spike Lee movie to get a 500 screen+ theatrical release since his Old Boy remake in late 2013.
According to reports , Critics are saying “BlacKkKlansman,” an alternately satiric and horrifying looking at hate groups in America, signals a return to form for the director. Its $10.8 million start in North America trails only “The Original Kings of Comedy’s” debut ($11 million) as Lee’s third-biggest opening of all time.
Steven Tyler Sends Sweet Message to "Gravely Ill" Aretha Franklin
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler isn't ready to let Aretha Franklin go.
Reports early Monday from people close to the iconic singer say she is "gravely ill" with cancer. The Queen of Soul, 76, isn't expected to live through the week, according to one report.
Tyler received the news Monday afternoon while walking through New York.
"Aretha Franklin, you've reached billions of people with your style and your magic," Tyler told a paparazzo he had moments before been trying to dodge. "God bless you and everyone who's got you on their mind."
Before picking up the pace of his stride, Tyler sang a few bars of "Respect."
Franklin's family is asking for prayers and privacy.
Aerosmith is in New York this week, preparing to announce details of the band's 50th anniversary residency in Las Vegas next spring.
Chanel Iman And Sterling Shepard Welcome Baby Girl Cali Clay
She's here! Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard welcomed their first child, Cali Clay Shepard, on Friday (August 10).
The couple announced the arrival of their baby girl on Instagram Sunday (August 12).
"You were worth every push every contraction! Welcome to our world @caliclayshepard ❤️," the 27-year-old supermodel captioned a sweet photo of her and Sterling doting over baby Cali in the delivery room. And yes, @caliclayshepard is Cali's Instagram handle. The three-day-old already has an Instagram with nearly 10K followers!
Proud papa Sterling, 24, also shared his excitement about the arrival of his little one on Instagram, captioning a photo of his wife and daughter, "Everything I do is for you two. My world!"
The New York Giants wide receiver and supermodel announced they were expecting on Mother's Day 2018.
Chanel made the announcement on Instagram, captioning a photo of her pregnant belly, "Daddy and Mommy can’t wait to meet you. As I approach motherhood I want to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and mommies to be."
In a second post of her and Sterling, she added: "We both are blessed in many different ways, that our love has created a wonderful new life and can’t wait for this ultimate blessing to arrive. We thank God for allowing us this opportunity to become parents and can’t wait to hold our baby in our arms."
The couple's baby announcement came just two months after they tied the knot in March 2018. Chanel and Sterling first met at Victor Cruz's birthday party in November 2016.
#BROADWAYNEWS: ‘Pretty Woman’ & ‘Boys In The Band’ Break House Records As Broadway Box Office Hits $37M
Pretty Woman: The Musical and The Boys in the Band broke house records last week as Broadway’s box office held steady into the summer’s dog days. Total b.o. for the 31 shows climbed a tad to $37,289,893, about 2.4% over the previous week, with attendance of 277,794 showing a slight dip of an identical percentage.
Higher average ticket prices – $134 compared to the previous week’s $128 – kept box office from slipping during the season’s Week 11, ending Aug. 12.
Bidding adieu to the street on Aug. 11 was Joe Mantello’s staging of The Boys in the Band, taking $1,152,649, well above and beyond the official potential of $957,024. The box office take smashes the Booth Theater’s previous $1,113,192 house record set back in 2015 when Bradley Cooper was on stage in The Elephant Man. The 50th anniversary staging of Mart Crowley’s Boys recouped its $3.5 million investment in the 11th week of its 15-week engagement.
Heading in as Boys headed out, director Jerry Mitchell’s Pretty Woman set a new house record at the Nederlander Theatre, scoring $1,142,989, the highest total for any eight-performance week in the venue’s 97-year history. Attendance of 9,306 was at 99.6% of capacity – the week included some comped critics’ performances for the musical that opens Thursday night.
Also opening this week is Gettin’ The Band Back Together, with no house records at the Belasco threatened. Though 7,197 seats were filled – 94% of capacity, in fact – a meager $41 average price kept b.o. way low at $293,847, about 38% of potential. The rock musical opens tonight.
Other notables: The Boss is back, with Springsteen On Broadway resuming performances after a brief hiatus. The four performances nabbed a total $1,931,445, with admission of 3,792 filling all the seats. The show remains far and away the most expensive on Broadway, with an average price of $509 blasting runner-up Hamilton‘s $292;
Dear Evan Hansen was the week’s third-highest priced seat, with average admission at $206. The musical at the Music Box Theatre was SRO, grossing $1,646,173;
Head Over Heels, the musical with Go-Go’s tunes, struggled, filling only 60% of seats even with a $62 average ticket. Total box office was $286,829, 32% of a potential $883,552.
The week’s sell-outs (or close enough at 98% of capacity or more) were:
Aladdin, Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen, Frozen, Hamilton, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Hello, Dolly!, Mean Girls, Pretty Woman, Springsteen On Broadway, The Band’s Visit, The Book of Mormon, The Boys In The Band and The Lion King.
Broadway season-to-date sales were $415,750,271, besting last season’s $358,600,936 by 16% and hitting about 86% of box office potential. Total attendance for the season so far is 3,174,400, 92% of capacity and 3% more than last year at this time.

Model Tammy Hembrow who left Kylie Jenner’s birthday bash on a stretcher speaks out
Australian model Tammy Hembrow spoke out Sunday after being rushed to the hospital from Kylie Jenner‘s 21st birthday party last week.
“I want everyone to know that I’m OK,” she began in a YouTube video titled, “Update: Back home.” “I’ve had a lot of concerned followers messaging me and asking if I’m alright so I just want to clear that up and say yes, I’m OK.”
Hembrow, 24, who was carried into an ambulance face-down on a stretcher outside Delilah in West Hollywood on Thursday, according to The Blast, said a combination of personal turmoil and lack of sleep contributed to the incident.
“Basically what happened is I was in LA, I was running on pretty much 30 hours, no sleep. I was struggling to stay awake even when I was getting my hair and makeup done,” she explained. “I could barely keep my eyes open.”
Throwing herself into work following her breakup with Reece Hawkins, Hembrow said, she has been trying to keep busy, but “not really taking time” to focus on herself.
“I probably definitely shouldn’t have been drinking because of how jet-lagged I was, how exhausted I was. I already wasn’t feeling well. But I was honestly fine at that point, and I was talking to a bunch of my friends, I was catching up with some people,” Hembrow shared.
The mom of two also said she is “super, super, embarrassed” about the collapse.
“I read a quote yesterday and it said, ‘Make time for rest or your body will force you to slow down in ways you probably won’t like.’ And I feel like that couldn’t be more true,” Hembrow noted.
Indulging in relaxation and retail therapy the following day, Hembrow then took time to thank family, friends and fans for their support.
“I’m lucky that I have amazing friends and family, and they know who I am and who I stand for, and the person I want to be,” she said. “I’m not going to let something like this define me. I’m not going to let it bring me down.”
Said to be an acquaintance of the Kardashian family, Hembrow has previously modeled for Khloé Kardashian’s Good American clothing line.

Omarosa Manigault-Newman is currently in the throes of a press tour promoting her new book, Unhinged: An Insider Account of the Trump White House, and while the majority of the focus is on her scathing accounts of The Donald’s incompetency, and the accusation that he used the n-word, ‘Rosa also managed to land herself in hot water with White House Correspondent April Ryan.
During an interview on NBC’s “Meet The Press”, Manigault-Newman opened up about recording her firing while in the Situation Room with White House chief of Staff, John Kelly:
“He knew that John Kelly was going to take me into the Situation Room, and lock me in there, threaten me, and say that things were going to get ugly for me, and there would be damage to me reputation,” Manigault Newman said Sunday, referring to President Trump. “And you know what, the next day there was damage to my reputation because they then put out a story using and exploiting an African-American reporter to say that I was running around the residence and trying to break into a Christmas party, which is ludicrous.”
That “African-American reporter” Omarosa was referring to was April Ryan, and Ryan was not having it.
Ryan also called Omarosa “evil” while on CNN’s “Reliable Sources.”

The Baltimore police officer who brutally beat a black man RESINGS!
A police officer in Baltimore who was filmed repeatedly punching a man and throwing him to the ground has resigned.
The officer, whom authorities have not yet identified, was initially placed on administrative leave after the episode on Saturday, interim Police Commissioner Gary Tuggle told reporters Monday. Tuggle said authorities are considering second-degree assault charges against him.
The “video is extremely disappointing to me,” Tuggle said of the footage, which was shot on a cellphone and posted online. “I don’t think there was any room for the activity that I saw on that, and it is extremely disturbing.”
The officer involved in yesterday’s incident is no longer with the BPD. Interim Commissioner Tuggle has accepted his resignation. The second officer remains on administrative duties. This remains an active
McGrier’s lawyer, Warren Brown, told CBS News his client was hospitalized after the incident and “may have suffered a broken jaw, a broken nose, maybe some fractured ribs, and he had difficulty with feeling his left leg.” McGrier was not charged with any crime.
