Empire Magazine Rolls Out “Captain America: Civil War” Covers

Movie fans are freaking out over the April 29th release of “Captain America: Civil War,” and now  Empire Magazine is gearing up for the film with two new covers.

Slated to hit newsstands on Thursday (February 25), the latest issue has all kinds of awesome coverage, exclusive on-set access and plenty of cast and crew interviews.

 

And of course, Empire subscribers will be the only ones to receive the Cap vs Iron Man image, while non-subscribers will see the shields of Captain America and Iron Man side-by-side.

#RHOA The Reading School Is In Session from The Jamaica Trip!

This week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta we are back in Jamaica for the cast trip/filming of Cynthia’s eyewear commercial. There has been major drama so far because Nene showed up and surprised the women, which really set Kenya off. Cynthia downplayed the status of her and Kenya’s friendship to Nene, and chose Kim Fields to direct her commercial over Kenya. It’s ultimately Nene who brought Kenya back with Cynthia, and when she does Kenya lets all of the women in on some gossip about Kim’s husband; that there are rumors he is gay. Of course Kim finds out that Kenya’s talking about her husband and the fallout from this is where tonight’s episode picks up.

Sheree lets Kim know what the ladies were saying about Chris, and Kenya cops to what she said. The other ladies act like they weren’t involved at all, but Sheree does admit that her, Porsha, and Phaedra Googled Chris the night before. Bravo airs the flashback and the first thing that comes up is “Kim Fields’ fruity baby daddy,” and the second is about Chris and Kim’s tax problems. Kim says she never heard those rumors about Chris before, and that they’ve been together for 10 years. Things remained calm, despite Kenya throwing out a dig about her financial issues.

Nene and Phaedra take Kim to breakfast, and in her interview Nene states she is feeling really bad about the “joking around” that took place nights before about Kim’s husband. Nene and Phaedra want to teach Kim how to stand up for herself against Kenya. They tell her she needs to confront her head on, and then they do HILARIOUS impressions that are spot on and Nene points how that Kim is very passive and Kenya “preys” on that.

We see Kandi and Todd for the first time in a while and she is glowing! They are bringing Mama Joyce and Kandi’s Aunts to a restaurant tasting in hopes to get Aunt Bertha (Kandi’s final family member) to commit to the restaurant. The food looked amazing and in the end all are on board; just another venture for Kandi, is there anything she can’t do!

Back in Jamaica Kim calls Chris and lets him know what happened the night before, and his reaction was much more calm than expected. He takes the high road and says if he goggled everyone else what he would find would be much worse. Good point Chris.

Peter was really in his element on this trip and he planned an excursion to Dunn River Falls. It’s supposed to be a team building exercise, helping each other up beautiful, natural waterfalls. Kenya and her man Matt choose to make this a competition, running far ahead of the group and making a cocky comment when everyone else finished, together.

Next they head to a local spot for some authentic Jamaican food and Peter answers the question we’ve all been wondering; yes he and the men were smoking some “Bob Marley” on the trip. No idea about the women, that wasn’t show.

Nene breaks the ice for Kim; forcing Kim to talk to Kenya, and you could tell Kim is genuinely nice person who is uncomfortable with confrontation. When it’s Kenya’s turn to speak she starts with a snarky comment to Kim about finally speaking up, and Cynthia interjects at this right away. Cynthia also tells Kenya she should apologize for putting her hands on Kim’s chair. Kenya ultimately tells Kim that she is indifferent about her; doesn’t like her, doesn’t hate her. She also elaborates that she doesn’t feel the need to work on the relationship anymore but she can be cordial. Kim brings to light that Kenya crossed the boundary of respect and in the end they agree to respect each other. Kim thinks all will be good moving forward; I think she’s dreaming, this is housewives world, but we will have to wait and see.

Cynthia, Nene, and Sheree get dessert and Cynthia turns to the ladies for advice on how to approach her problems with Kenya. They tell her she needs to tell Kenya how hurt she is for Kenya’s behavior in Jamaica, especially at the commercial. Cynthia agrees that’s the right move.

We are at the final night of what has been a very entertaining trip and Peter has kept it classy all the way. There is a beautiful cocktail hour on the beach followed by dinner which Kenya and Matt are late for.

At dinner Sheree reveals that after the trip she is considering getting back with Bob, and they are really cute together. He says he needed time to work on himself so he can be better for her and hopefully she will spill on the status of their relationship at the reunion.

The guys call out Matt for saying he loved Kenya the night before, a move he copped to and told her to her face. Kenya seemed to love the attention but didn’t say it back. Cynthia and Kenya start talking about their problems and Kenya deflects the cause of the problems to when Nene arrived. Nene says she’ll always be around and that she has nothing to do with Kenya and Cynthia’s problems. It’s unclear if Nene meant she’d always be around with Cynthia, or with The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Kenya and Cynthia both admit to being hurt and Kenya apologizes for not supporting Cynthia with the commercial. Peter takes things a bit to far and makes Kenya repeat herself, and it is very awkward this all goes down with the whole group watching.

This was a very eventful trip and next week it’s back to the A-T-L; Cheers to Jamaica!

#LUCIOUSLYON: Terrence Howard Forgives Robert Downey Jr.

Back in 2013 actor Terrence Howard famously accused his Iron Man co-star, Robert Downey Jr., of muscling him out of the successful Iron Man franchise costing Terrence millions of dollars.

Apparently time really does heal all wounds...

Over the weekend Terrence posted a picture of himself and RDJ at producer Brian Grazer's weekend wedding with the caption, "Nice to see my old friend again #lifestooshort #allgood."

NEW MUSIC: Ledisi – Nostalgia Movement No. 1 (EP)

As a way to keep her fans satisfied until the release of her next album, rnb star Ledisi has just released a special EP called “Nostalgia Movement” Part 1. On the unique project, she puts her own soulful spin on covers of three of her favorite songs. Included on the EP are covers of “Settle for My Love” by Patrice Rushen (also previously covered by Musiq Soulchild), “I Once Had Your Lovin’ Baby( And I Can’t Let Go)” originally by The Isley Brothers, and “I’ve Got Love on my Mind” originally by Natalie Cole

Production on the project was contributed by BNB Production, Erick Walls, and Rex Rideout. Ledisi does a great job on this project of beautifully paying homage to three legendary songs and shows us another side of her masterful artistry.

'Murder Rap' Investigator Claims Biggie Smalls Mother Knows Diddy Played Some Part In Her Son's Murder

More speculation is thrown at P Diddy for the murders of Tupac and Biggie Smalls.

Retired LAPD detective Greg Kading from Hip Hip documentary 'Murder Rap', has claimed that Voletta Wallace knows P Diddy and Suge Knight "had some responsibility" in the murders of the two rappers.

The series, which was brought to attention earlier this month , named the supposed murders of Tupac and Biggie.

In an interview on the 'Murder Master Music Show', Kading claims that he “sat down with [Voletta] and explained to her what we had discovered in the police investigation."

"We sat there and it was a very emotional encounter, because she was, I think, understanding clearly what had happened.

"I think she was starting to see that other people were responsible than who she had previously believed based on the Russell Poole nonsense.”

Poole was the original investigator in both cases before Greg Kading took over and ruled Poole's investigation invalid.

Kading's own theory is P Diddy hired Crips gang member Duane Keith "Keffe D" Davis to kill Shakur and Suge Knight for $1 million.

He now believes Keffe D's nephew, Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, shot Tupac in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996.

In retaliation, according to Kade, Suge hired Bloods gang member Wardell "Poochie" Fouse to kill The Notorious B.I.G.

Biggie Smalls was shot to death in Los Angles March 9, 1997.

Minister Louis Farrakhan’s Fruit of Islam Offers protection for  Beyonce On Tour!

Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan is offering up protection for Beyonce during her upcoming FORMATION World Tour amidst reports that some police unions will be going out of their way to NOT protect her at her stadium performances.

Sounds like the minister is changing up his tune after scolding Bey over the way she dresses a few months ago. Remember when he publicly criticized Jay Z telling him he needed to keep Mrs. Carter “covered up?” Hmph.

Minister Farrakhan delivered the keynote address at the Nation of Islam’s Saviours' Day Convention in Detroit where he addressed the “Formation” singer’s unapologetic Super Bowl Performance and the supposed boycott from police that followed.

He started off saying, "And my sweet sister Beyonce. Boy! Did she fix them?! People are terrified. Beyonce? She started talking that black stuff! And white folks are like ‘we don’t know how to deal with that.’’

He continues, "When one of us shows independence: Look at how you treating Beyonce now. You go picket? You're not going to offer her police protection, but the F.O.I. (Fruit of Islam) will."

They don't want that!

He then praises Grammy Award winning rapper Kendrick Lamar for setting a new standard in the rap game and then yelled out, “The cultural revolution is on!”

Why is it that any time someone is PRO-black that automatically equates ANTI-white in some folks minds? Learn the difference folks.  And please understand that calling attention to the wrong doings of any organization does not equate being anti said organization.  It's always so interesting when certain members of organizations choose to be outraged about folks commenting about their wrongdoings, as opposed to being outraged about the wrongdoing itself.

Beyoncé Is Reportedly Dropping Her New Album in April

Beyoncé’s ‘Formation World Tour’ kicks off in April — but could that be the same month when her long-awaited new album drops also?

According to HitsDailyDouble, the answer is “YES.” Beyoncé is close to making a new worldwide, multi-album deal with Sony Music, and the final release under the current deal is now set for April.

 The site also notes that the Beyoncé / Jay Z joint album is still happening this year too.

Jay Z’s Alleged Love Child Goes Federal with Fraud, Corruption Allegations in Paternity Case

Jay z and Rymir Satterthwaite*A legal battle involving Jay Z and his alleged love child, Rymir Satterthwaite, has entered a new phase as Satterthwaite takes the case to federal court.

At the heart of Sattterthwaite’s demand for federal action are claims from his attorneys that the case has been damaged with fraud, corruption, and collusion, according to RadarOnline. The Family Civil Liberties Union (FCLU), a supporter of Satterthwaite’s case, alleges that opposing attorneys have colluded with employees of the local court system in conspiring to withhold essential documents from the petitioner’s counsel.

As a result, Satterthwaite has filed a Notice of Federal Younger Doctrine in the Superior Court of New Jersey, asserting that local dereliction of duty has resulted in a violation of his constitutional rights. In addition, Satterthwaite has asked for an FBI investigation into “corruption such as but not limited to mail fraud, consumer fraud, RICO” on the part of the New Jersey Camden County Trial Court Family Part.

Satterthwaite’s elevation of the case is the latest development to occur in his camp’s fight to get recognition of the 22-year-old’s paternity.

“This is about making sure that Jay Z is held responsible for the emotional damage that he has caused Rymir,” Satterthwaite’s former guardian, Lillie Collie told Radar. “Rymir not only looks identical to Jay Z, but he really, really looks a lot like Jay Z’s mother, who is Rymir’s grandmother. Unfortunately, for Rymir, he has an entire family that he will never be able to know.”

Despite claims from the family that the case is “not about the money at all,” the lengthy delays in the case come as a major obstacle in family’s pursuit of justice for Satterthwaite.

“The family has not gotten paid one cent since this story came out,” Collie revealed to Radar. “It is costing us a lot of money to proceed.”

House of Cards: Frank Underwood heads to the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery

The Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery unveiled a painting of House of Cards‘ fictional POTUS on Monday night in Washington, D.C. (See it above; click to enlarge.)

To celebrate British artist Jonathan Yeo’s work, Kevin Spacey appeared in character with Yeo, portrait gallery director Kim Sajet, Netflix COO Ted Sarandos, and a real member of the White House press corps.

“I’m pleased that the Smithsonian continues to prove itself as a worthwhile institution,” Underwood said in a statement. “I’m one step closer to convincing the rest of the country that I am the President.”

The true Spacey also chimed in a statement: “Actually, I’m really delighted to be included in a work of art at such a remarkable institution. When the Smithsonian’s Portrait Gallery first approached Jonathan and me about a portrait of me — the actor — I wanted to see if Jonathan could unveil a fully rendered presidential portrait. It is a real honor to be exhibited at the Smithsonian and a thrill to see Frank take his place among the presidents in this historic setting.”

Yeo previously painted Spacey as Richard III; that portrait was displayed in London’s National Portrait Gallery, which hung from September 2013 through January 2014. Underwood will be on display in Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery from Wednesday through October.

Those in attendance also got to catch the season 4 premiere of House of Cards; for everyone else, the next installment of Netflix’s Emmy-winning series begins streaming March 4.

Kendrick Lamar Will Induct N.W.A Into Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame

This spring, N.W.A will receive a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction by an artist seen as an extensions of the movement started by the World’s Most Dangerous Rap Group. Compton’s own Kendrick Lamar  has been tapped to lead N.W.A’s induction ceremony ceremony at Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Arena April 8.

N.W.A joins Cheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple, and Steve Miller as the 2016 list of honorees. Besides, Lamar, Kid Rock has been named a presenter (he will inducted Cheap Trick into the Hall of Fame), as well as Matchbox 20 frontman Rob Thomas.

The ceremony will air on HBO sometime this spring.

T.I. Signs Distribution Deal With Roc Nation, Becomes Latest Co-Owner of Tidal

After leaving the major-label system following the release of his ninth studio album Paperwork in October 2014 via Columbia, T.I. has finally found a new home under Jay Z's wing. Ahead of his pop-up performance at Greenbriar Mall in his hometown of Atlanta on Monday night (Feb. 22), Tip announced he has signed a distribution deal with Roc Nation for his upcoming album, Dime Trap, and joins the growing list of artists who are co-owners of Tidal.

Signs pointed to T.I.'s Tidal deal last week, when he announced that Monday's pop-up show would be live-streamed on the service as part of the company's Tidal X concert series. At the same time, he released his new single from the album, Money Talk, exclusively on the service. As the latest artist co-owner, Tip joins the likes of Kanye West, Beyoncé, J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Usher and more who have stakes in the service and appeared onstage at its launch event last March; Lil Wayne came onboard last June.

More significantly, Dime Trap will be T.I.'s first album released without a major label, though Roc Nation is itself distributed through Universal Music Group. After poor sales of his 2001 debut I'm Serious, T.I. was dropped from Arista Records and signed to Atlantic, where he released 2003's Trap Muzik and his next six albums culminating with 2012's Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head before leaving for Columbia. He's spoken about returning to the Trap Muzik sound on his forthcoming LP, due out this year on his Grand Hustle Records label.

Florida Pastor And Wife Accused Of Luring Girls For Sex

A pastor and his wife are being accused of using their organization as a front to lure teen girls into sexual abuse.

In 1999, pastor James Jackson and his wife, Valerie founded P.H.A.T. Positive Habitat Aspiring Teens in Palm Beach, Florida. The nonprofit organization was said to have a goal which would enable teens to express themselves and transition into adulthood.

But along the way, if that was ever a sincere goal, something went terribly wrong.

According to reports by CBS 12 in Palm Beach, a 15-year-old girl went to authorities claiming years of sexual abuse by the Jacksons.

The girl told police her abuse started at age 11. Pastor James, 47, would show her films that had sexual content. At some point, the pastor exposed himself to her, and while teaching her how to use a condom, had her perform oral sex on him for the first time.

This was apparently not the first time pastor Jackson practiced pedophilia. The girl’s older sister claims to have gone through a similar form of sexual abuse. The now 22-year-old said that starting at age 17 James made her take baths with him and the two of them had sex daily.

All with the knowledge and encouragement of pastor James’ wife, Valerie; who allegedly taught the girls how to keep her husband aroused.

The Jackson’s organization had gained recognition and prominence, so their community, and no doubt, congregation, is shocked by the allegations. 

James now faces charges that include sexual battery of a minor, causing a person under 18 to have contact with bodily fluid, possessing photos of a sexual performance of a child, and selling obscene material of a minor.

His wife Valerie, 46, faces charges of a lewd act of molestation on a minor and child neglect without causing harm.

2011 American Music Awards Nominees: Full List

We’re just over a month away from the 2011 American Music Awards, and the illustrious nominees were announced.

Nicki Minaj and Pitbullwere in the house at the JW Marriott Los Angeles at LA Live to read the list of potential winners to be voted on by the public.
Topping the list of nominees were big names in music such as Adele (leading the pack with 4), as well as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Kanye West and Beyonce while Katy Perry and Pitbull have been confirmed as performers.

Michael Jackson ‘Immortal’ Album Due in November

Michael Jackson’s music lives on. On November 21, Epic Records in conjunction with the Estate of Michael Jackson, will release Immortal, which serves as the soundtrack to Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour.
Described as a musical tapestry for the tour, Immortal will be available in single and deluxe double disc versions. The North American leg of the musical kicked off last night in Montreal and will travel to Las Vegas for an extended stay in December.

Under the guidance of musical designer Kevin Antunes (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna), Immortal will include reimagined versions of Jackson’s hits, mashups, and newly discovered outtakes fans have never heard before including an alternate version of the Jackson 5’s “ABC” and “They Don’t Really Care About Us” featuring a choir.

Last year, Epic Records released the posthumous album Michael containing previously unreleased music from the King of Pop.

YOU KNEW IT WAS COMING; Norwood Young HOSTING An Estate Sale BEFORE The Bank Forecloses- Allegedly!

Norwood Young, the eccentric brother of "BBW: LA" star Tanya Young Williams is having an estate sale to signal the end of an era.....but the "streets" are saying it really signals the end of his dying- Sugar Daddy footing his bills. Get the deets on Norwood's alleged foreclosure inside.....

Norwood Young, the Hollywood type who you see at all the parties, yet you don't quite understand why he's there, is selling his iconic Hancock Park, California mansion for $2.1 million dollars.
The home, also known as the House of Davids for its 19-replicas of "David" that line the driveway, features a pool (with Norwood's face painted at the bottom), a sauna and a steam room, tons of chandeliers, a home theater with a bar, and six bedrooms and six baths.

About the Davids, he says,

'"That statue represents myself and things that I've had to defeat in my life. So it wasn't like I was just this wacky guy who wanted 20 penises on his lawn. That's not the way I roll. ... Unfortunately, the neighbors and other people never took the time to wonder if there was a reason."

But people DID take the time to wonder how a "singer" who has never had any notable dealings in the music industry can drive a Rolls Royce Phantom and floss around town like a music mogul.

And the answer depends on who you ask.

Cop's Book Says Sean Combs, Suge Knight Ordered Tupac and Biggie Killings

Top detective on rap murders says LAPD pulled the plug despite confessions

A barrel-chested black man with a front tooth missing, relaxed yet instinctively cautious, is seated across from four spellbound cops in a glass-walled conference room at 8200 Wilshire Blvd.

This is not the first time a gangster has done business at this Beverly Hills office building. It once served as the bullet-riddled headquarters of the now-defunct Death Row Records, run by Bloods with a strict policy of never talking to cops. But for Duane "Keffe D" Keith Davis, a shot caller for the Southside Crips, it now happens to be his lawyer's office. And on this surreal morning on Dec. 18, 2008, Keffe D is going to snitch.

Keffe D tells the cops he was offered $1 million to kill Death Row rapper Tupac Shakur and Suge Knight, the label's former CEO. The informant tells his interrogators in plain language, albeit at a cool street clip, that Sean Combs — then known as Puff Daddy, the ringmaster of Bad Boy Entertainment, Death Row Records' bitter cross-country rival — commissioned Shakur's legendary murder in Vegas in September 1996. (Knight would survive that night's shooting with a bullet wound to the head.)

Six months later, Bad Boy Entertainment rap star Christopher Wallace, best known as Biggie Smalls or Notorious B.I.G., was shot to death in L.A. In the decade and a half since the two most famous homicides in hip-hop history, police have made no arrests.

Now, in the pages of his potentially game-changing self-published book Murder Rap, set for release Oct. 4, former Los Angeles Police Department Detective Greg Kading reveals that LAPD has been sitting on extensive tapes and documents containing confessions from key players behind the alleged assassinations of Shakur and Smalls (Wallace). LAPD higher-ups pulled Kading off the double investigation right when he was poised to drive it home, he says. Then they shut it down completely. An LAPD spokesman insists in an email that the case is still "active/ongoing" but that no further information is available. If true, this means the LAPD has only in the past couple of months revived the probe.
Perhaps luckily for the rappers' families and fans still seeking closure, Kading made copies of nearly every investigative report and taped confession before he left LAPD. His explosive book details the behind-the-scenes failure by LAPD to bring Shakur's and Smalls' killers to justice.

In a taped confession fully reviewed by L.A. Weekly, Keffe D says, "[Combs] took me downstairs and he's like, 'Man, I want to get rid of them dudes.' ... I was like, 'We'll wipe their ass out, quick. It's nothing.' ... We wanted a million." In another stunning confession, detailed in LAPD documents reviewed by the Weekly, the mother of one of Knight's children, identified in Kading's book as "Theresa Swann," breaks down in tears, stating that the former Death Row boss gave her the money to pay Wardell "Poochie" Fouse — Knight's close associate and a fellow member of the Mob Piru Bloods — to kill Smalls.

Keffe D is up against a wall at tvhe time he fingers Combs for Shakur's murder. The federal and local agents gathered around him at the conference table, including Kading, have spent the last year cornering him as the kingpin of a nationwide PCP ring, and Keffe D is looking at 25 years to life if he doesn't reveal his secrets.
Sean Combs told the Weekly via email: "This story is pure fiction and completely ridiculous." Suge Knight could not be reached.

In his confession, Keffe D takes the officers on a trip back to the night Shakur died. Keffe D places himself in the passenger seat of the old white Cadillac that famously pulled up, full of Crips, on the right side of the BMW carrying Shakur and Knight toward a club just off the Vegas Strip.

Sitting in the backseat of the Cadillac, according to Keffe D, was his own nephew, Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, who got his ass kicked in the MGM Grand lobby earlier in the evening by Shakur's posse over a piece of Death Row bling that Baby Lane supposedly had stolen.

Keffe D tells Kading on tape that his nephew "leaned over, and Orlando [Baby Lane] rolled down the window and popped him [Shakur]." Later, he adds, "If they would've drove on my side [of the car] I would've popped him."
Keffe D gave the FBI a different story in 1997, denying his nephew was involved. In his December 2008 confession, however, the tape indicates Keffe D will only be held immune from his admissions if none of his statements, including on Shakur's murder, are shown to be false.

Kading tells him on tape: "Everything in this report has to be right on, because if down the road it's determined that some of these details are incorrect, then everything's off the table." Keffe D responds, "Don't bullshit me, and I won't bullshit y'all."

Keffe D's and Theresa Swann's confessions were stunning but in no way sudden. They were the fruit of an intensive investigation by a special task force of LAPD officers plus agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency and Federal Bureau of Investigation that had begun years earlier, in May 2006.

The team's official mission was solving Biggie Smalls' murder, while Shakur's murder case was under the jurisdiction of Las Vegas police. Smalls, a 400-pound Brooklyn native, was slain in a March 1997 drive-by shooting while rolling out of a star-studded party at the Petersen Automotive Museum in L.A.'s Miracle Mile.
At the time the multi-agency task force was formed by the LAPD, Smalls' mother, Voletta Wallace, was suing the City of Los Angeles for potentially hundreds of millions of dollars because she believed dirty cops had been involved in her son's murder.

"There was a real possibility that the suit would end up being among the most expensive the department had ever had to pay out," Kading writes in Murder Rap. "So it came as no surprise that the brass wasted no time in putting together a task force to finally solve the 9-year-old case, find the killer, and hopefully exonerate the police in the process."

But investigators on the special task force determined early on that the two cases were as inseparable as the street-gang rivalries that ran through them.
Sure enough, just five months after Keffe D alleged he'd watched his nephew, "Baby Lane" Anderson, kill Shakur on orders from Sean Combs, Kading's investigative team hit a second home run when one of Suge Knight's baby mommas fingered Knight as having handed her the money to pay for Smalls' murder.

Kading describes the woman as a well-kept beauty in her early 40s with a slim figure and trademark hoop earrings — although the stress of being one of Knight's ladies-in-waiting, through the rise and fall of his L.A. rap empire, had begun to take its toll, physically.

She's named "Theresa Swann" in Murder Rap for her own protection. L.A. Weekly has verified her identity as Knight's longtime lover and business associate but has chosen not to reveal her name. Kading planned to notify her last weekend that Murder Rap was going to print. He says federal agents are prepared to relocate her if necessary, to assure her safety in the wake of its publication.

Her confession is summarized in an official LAPD report reviewed by L.A. Weekly:
"During one or more of [Swann's prison visits], Knight instructed [Swann] to help him coordinate the murder of Christopher Wallace. Knight directed [Swann] to contact 'Poochie' and advise him that Knight wanted Wallace murdered in exchange for an unspecified amount of money."

The team of feds and LAPD officers believed they were on the brink of solving one of the most haunting cold cases in popular history.
Both Baby Lane and Poochie — implicated as the triggermen by the team's sources for the murders of Shakur and Smalls — had been shot dead years ago, casualties of Crips-versus-Bloods battles set off by the celebrities' slayings. However, the rap moguls accused of hiring them were still very much alive.
Kading was certain that by tracking down a couple more Crips allegedly involved in Shakur's murder, and by wiretapping phone conversations between Knight and his lover Swann, the LAPD finally would have enough evidence to solve hip-hop's greatest murder mysteries.

But what Kading says happened next — a series of shocking moves within the LAPD's upper ranks — would lead him to question whether his superiors wanted the rappers' murderers brought to justice.
In July 2009, under former LAPD Chief William Bratton, lead detective Kading was abruptly pulled from the task force. Without his years of nuanced insight into the vast array of characters involved, he says, the investigation began to peter out as he watched helplessly.
Nearly a year later, in April 2010, when Voletta Wallace withdrew her lawsuit against the City of Los Angeles, what remained of the task force was quickly dismantled by Robbery-Homicide Capt. Kevin McClure with the blessing of brand-new LAPD Chief Charlie Beck.

Within weeks, despite 22 devoted years on the force, in a move the fiercely independent Detective Harry Bosch might pull in a Michael Connelly novel, Kading turned in his LAPD badge and walked out the door.
Though Kading is well aware of the litigation to which he's exposing himself by implicating Combs and Knight — the wealthy Combs threatened to sue the Los Angeles Times over much less — Kading believes that "the story's bigger than the LAPD," and that if he doesn't share his findings with the public, "nobody's ever going to know what really happened."

Top NFL star's girlfriend 'raped in London hotel room after drunken night out'

The girlfriend of a top NFL star claimed she was raped in a London hotel room after she was plied with champagne and passed out, a court heard.

The 21-year-old did not even know the attack had happened until she found out she was pregnant with attacker Andrae Edward's baby, it is alleged.

Police found bank worker Andrae, 22, had taken pictures of her naked as she slept, the court was told - the student went on to have an abortion.
The girl, whose boyfriend plays for an NFL team, said she woke up naked in her hotel room after a drunken night at a nightclub with Edwards and her three friends.
She said she could not remember what had happened and texted Andrae Edwards, to check nothing sexual had gone on between them as she felt sore and could smell his cologne on her.
He told her it hadn't but a month and a half later she realised she was pregnant and DNA testing revealed it was Edwards' baby.
Blackfriars Crown Court heard that when arrested, he was discovered to have taken pictures and video images of her lying passed out on the bed naked, showing she is asleep and not capable of consenting to sex that night.

Royal Bank of Scotland customer adviser Edwards is facing one charge of rape.
He claims that they had consensual sex and that the girl initiated it despite having a steady boyfriend in America.
It was said that Edwards, who was with two male friends, spent hundreds of pounds plying the victim and her three friends with eight bottles of pink Moet & Chandon champagne at The Penthouse club in Piccadilly Circus on September 4 2010.
The court heard the 21-year-old woman was raped in her room at the Royal National Hotel in Russell Square London but only found out what had happened after she become pregnant
The two groups had met in a McDonald's in Leicester Square three days before and exchanged numbers.
Giving evidence via videolink from the U.S. one of the girl's friends, who was not drinking as she is Muslim, said she saw Edwards, 22, trying to kiss the victim and touch her breast and bottom when they were in the club but that her friend had tried to push him away.

At around 3.30am the group, including two of Edward's male friends got a cab back to the Royal National Hotel in Russell Square, where the girls were staying.

Once inside the room two of the boys took the victim's friends back to their room while Edwards stayed with her.
Prosecutor Alexia Power said the girl, now 22, was 'floppy and all over the place, her speech was slurred and she could hardly stand.'
Her sober friend undressed and put pyjamas on her and put her to bed while Edwards was out of the room before checking on the other girls and going to bed herself.

But jurors heard the next thing the victim remembered was waking up naked the next morning.

Miss Powers told jurors: 'She was 21 years old and had a steady boyfriend in America who was an American football player.
'The victim has no memory of what happened between herself and Mr Edwards in her hotel room in the early hours of that morning.
'She was drunk, incapable of consenting to any sexual activity and effectively in a drunken sleep.
'However one thing that is clear is that Mr Edwards had sex with her that night as she was to discover a month later that she was pregnant.

'She had a termination and DNA testing on the foetus proved that Mr Edwards would have been the father.

'It is the prosecution's case that Mr Edwards took advantage of being left alone with her in that state by undressing her, having sexual intercourse with her without a condom and in addition taking photographs and short video clips on his phone on the bed with her legs apart.
'These images were retrieved by police and you will be able to judge from the footage if she looks asleep, or as Mr Edwards was later to claim, an active participant in sex.'
The court heard the girl, who studied in New York and was only supposed to be in the country for four months of an exchange programme, remained in contact with Edwards after the alleged attack as she thought nothing had happened.

But when she realised she was pregnant she reported him to police and he was arrested on October 27 2010.
Edwards, of Islington, north London, told the police she was not really drunk but had been tipsy like him and that she had initiated sex and claimed he would have stopped if she'd have told him no. 

In a police interview, which was read out in court, he said he had brought champagne because 'I like to look after people I'm with.'

'I don't really go out much because of work commitments, but when I do, I like to go out in style.'
Edwards said he was dancing with the girl and kissing her on the dancefloor, and then the group left for the hotel where the girls were staying.
He said he and the woman were walking down the street with their arms around each other.

Once in her room, 'she started kissing me and I kissed her back', he claimed.

He continued: 'Then both of us were happy, had sex. She started pulling off my top, she was undressing me.
'We changed positions, she went on top. I ejaculated. She let me out the room. I assumed she went to sleep.'
They met up again after that, but then he got an angry call from one of her friends, he claimed.

He said the woman herself then texted him to say she was pregnant.
He said: 'Then she texts me, she's pregnant,
'She's gone to the clinic and it's gonna cost £500 for an abortion. I need to pay for an abortion.

'I said: "How do I know I'm the only person you've had sex with. I'm not paying for anything."
'Then she started calling me, two or three times after that.
'I just didn't pick up the phone. I didn't hear any more after that, so I just thought: "Oh well, that's it."'
Edwards denies rape. The trial continues.

Speaking at last night's premiere at the Curzon Mayfair, Stone admitted she was attracted to the role of Skeeter because it was so much meatier than other roles in Hollywood for actresses of her age.

Ashton BUSTED!! For real! And here are the PICS to prove it!

Pictures have emerged of Ashton Kutcher partying with a group of blonde women on his sixth wedding anniversary.
In photographs sure to devastate his wife Demi Moore, 48, the 33-year-old actor is seen mingling with the San Diego party girls in his penthouse hotel suite on the night he is accused of having a fling with student Sara Leal.
The women were invited back to the Two And A Half Men star's room at the Hard Rock Hotel around 3am after being introduced to the actor by promoters at Fluxx nightclub earlier in the evening.
In pictures obtained by America's Star magazine, and affiliated website Radar Online, a relaxed Kutcher is seen sitting on a sideboard wearing a hat while surrounded by at least three women.

The publication claims that after the party, which saw party-goers strip off for a swim in the hot-tub, Kutcher took 23-year-old Leal back to his bedroom.

She is alleged to have later sent a text message to her friends, saying: 'I [bleeped] Ashton Kutcher Friday night, lol.'
Today more pictures emerged of Leal from a wild Las Vegas trip earlier this year. Star also claims to have details from inside Ashton's party. The magazine reports guests told to leave their phones at the door.

Described as 'like a scene from the hangover', music was blaring and the room was said to be littered with glass and bottles of alcohol.
'When I walked in, there was a sea of busty blondes,' Kimberly Perry, who claims she attended the party, tells the magazine.

'And everyone was drinking, even though they were pretty tipsy already.'
Ashton is said to have been drinking a magnum of champagne and at one point was walking around naked.
Megan McNutt, who also claims to have attended the party, added: 'If there's a hot tub involved, there's going to be some kind of action. It was pretty wild.'
During the night, she claims Ashton appeared intoxicated and was talking with his eyes closed, but she adds the actor and Sara 'definitely had sex.'The night began on September 23 and carried on into the early ours of the following day, which was Kutcher and Moore's sixth wedding anniversary.

The Charlie's Angels actress was in New York that weekend promoting Five, her new TV project with Jennifer Aniston.
If Kutcher and Moore's marriage does end in divorce, the couple could be battling it out in a bitter $290 million split.

Demi has three daughters Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and Tallulah, 17, from her marriage to Bruce Willis, which ended in 2000 after 13 years.
She has long hoped to have a child with Ashton, saying last year it would 'be another incredible part of our journey together.'

Jay-Z to Re-Release Decoded Book

Great news for all the Jay-Z fans of the world as the rapper has revealed he will be re-releasing his New York Times Bestseller ‘Decoded’ with new features. The dad-to-be says this re-release will in stores November 1 as a paperback edition with an all black cover.

In addition to the book now being in paperback he also said there will be another chapter added so if you have the first book you might wanna get you the second one as well. That Jay-Z know how to make him some more money!!! There will be 7 additional illustrations added as well as three new songs. Check out an excerpt below:

Beyonce Pops Up At The University of Houston To Support Honoree Mama Tina

Beyonce, her mother Tina Knowles, and cousin Angie all traveled back to their hometown of Houston, TX for a great cause. Mama Tina was being honored by the University of Houston Friends of Women’s Studies Living Archives program (who honors local women) for all her fab accomplishments.

It's no secret Beyonce and her mom are extremely close. So Bey looked like the uber proud daughter, in her multicolored bump gracing shift dress, as her mother received accolades from the MD Anderson Library for her accomplishments as a mother and businesswoman.

Houston Chronicle reporter Joy Sewing (above), wearing a Miss Tina for Walmart purple wrap dress and Prada shoes, was on hand to interview Miss Tina on stage during the event. Sewing stated:

Miss Tina (as she prefers to be called) was a gracious interview and made my job easy. She talked about her life growing up in Galveston and her business as a hairstylist and then a costume designer and stylist for Destiny’s Child. She spoke of her love for her late mother Agnez Dereon and her dedication to her two daughters (Beyonce and Solange). Miss Tina even teared up a bit. Beyonce, who sat near other family members, was just as kind. Every time I glanced at B (that’s what they call her), she smiled at me. In the back room, mannequins displayed some of Beyonce’s most recognizable red-carpet gowns, which Miss Tina designed. Beyonce’s five Grammy awards from 2003 were also on display.

And why is Beyonce making this face?

Maybe because literally hundreds of students showed up outside the library doors within 5 minutes of finding out she was inside. And they screamed and chanted her name throughout the event. Sewing reported:

Then the students came. Hundreds of them (who likely got word that B was on campus via Twitter) piled into UH’s M.D. Anderson Library and began chanting, “Beyonce! Beyonce!” It even interrupted the interview for a few minutes. Beyonce, who is pregnant with her first child, was a bit bothered by the chaos since it was her mother’s big day. But afterwards the singer, wearing 5-inch heels, made a quick stop in the lobby to wave to the students: “Wow, this is crazy how fast that happens,” she said to me. “Just one tweet.”
