Lady Gaga Covers British Vogue Magazine!
“House of Gucci” star Lady Gaga covers British Vogue Magazine photographed by Steven Meisel and styled by Edward Enninful.
“It is three years since I started working on it,” she launches in on House of Gucci, “and I will be fully honest and transparent: I lived as her [Reggiani] for a year and a half. And I spoke with an accent for nine months of that.” Off camera, too? “Off camera,” she confirms, solemnly. “I never broke. I stayed with her.”
“It was nearly impossible for me to speak in the accent as a blonde,” she continues. “I instantly had to dye my hair, and I started to live in a way whereby anything that I looked at, anything that I touched, I started to take notice of where and when I could see money. I started to take photographs as well. I have no evidence that Patrizia was a photographer, but I thought as an exercise, and finding her interests in life, that I would become a photographer, so I took my point-and-shoot camera everywhere that I went. I noticed that Patrizia loved beautiful things. If something wasn’t beautiful, I deleted it.”
The December 2021 issue of British Vogue is on newsstands on Friday 5 November.
#RHOA: Phaedra Parks Shares Her Weight Loss Secrets After Losing 18 Lbs.!
Phaedra Parks looks better than ever after spending some time working on her new figure and she’s sharing her secret tips.
Age is just a number for former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, 48, who recently shed 18 lbs. After deciding to come to LA to celebrate her birthday, she treated herself to the final touches of her new look and she’s not shy to share her secrets. “Intermittent fasting,” Phaedra said at the Beverly Hills Rejuvenations Center where she rang in her birthday to tone and tighten her midriff and skin with the help of co-founder Dan Holtz’s latest machines and technologies. “I also started eating for my blood type [Type O], but I exercise too. It’s a combo.”
Even though her skin wasn’t too flabby from her lighter figure, it was important for Phaedra to feel better than ever as she gets older. “18 lbs. really isn’t that much weight,” Phaedra said. “Anytime you tighten and tone you’re going to lose inches, so it’s more about the curvature than the skin. I have absolutely beautiful skin! After having two kids, I never had stretch marks, thank God. But what I did have was a very severe hernia so I am self conscious about my navel area and so this is going to repair the appearance of that. I should see improvement.”
The business mogul, actress and mom to sons Ayden Nida, 11, and Dylan Nida, 8, found success on the scale by keeping it strict when deciding what to put into her body. “I eat a high-protein diet, heavy on lean meat, poultry, fish, and vegetables,” Phaedra said. “And light on grains, beans, and dairy. In the morning, I have a cup of coffee or lemon water with my collagen and then during the day I eat a lot of green things and lean protein. A lot more green and lean. If I’m going to have meat, it’s going to be some good Kobe beef and some spinach. I’m always eating. Or tuna over a bed of spinach. I don’t eat a lot of lettuce, but spinach. I like arugula, kale in smaller amounts because kale can be kind of hard on your stomach sometimes.”
Now that she’s lighter, more toned and tighter than ever, she’s feeling confident and content with her new size. “It’s not really a size thing for me because I’ve never really been a big size,” Phaedra said. “It’s more being compact. My middle area is much smaller, my legs are smaller, but I’m always a 4. The biggest I’ve ever been is a 6. It’s not really that I get so small. You’re lighter and that’s what really feels better, being lighter. I like to walk and also hike.”

With another year around the world, the aspiring actress and star of Peacock’s upcoming second season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is happy to be aging the right way. And with the Rejuvenation Center having locations in Texas, New York and New Jersey, Phaedra may not be done when it comes to toning up her mid-section every few months! “I just think aging gracefully is all about maintenance,” Phaedra added. “They have all the latest, greatest non-invasive machines and Dan is an expert on hormones and I feel like if I’m going to go to a spa I’m going to go to the best and I feel this is hands down the best center in the world for aging gracefully.

#HipHopNews: First Look At Eminem As White Boy Rick In 50 Cent’s BMF Show!
Over the summer, news emerged that Eminem would be playing the role of White Boy Rick on 50 Cent's Starz drama BMF. Now, due to a recent glitch on the network's app, people are able to get a first look at Em on the show's seventh episode.
In a short clip that surfaced online on Sunday (Nov. 7), the Detroit rapper is seen in character being greeted by Demetrius "Meech" Flenory's character, played by Demetrius Flenory Jr. Eminem, who is wearing a brunette-colored wig to give him longer hair and a fur coat, appears to be a lookout outside of an establishment.
However, people weren't supposed to see any portion of BMF's episode 7 this week as the series was supposed to be on a week-long hiatus. The episode was also directed by 50 Cent.
Apparently, the ball was dropped on the network's end and 50, the executive producer of the show, called out Starz for their error.
He tweeted, "Starz is a shit show, they better sell it fast. They put the fucking BMF show on, then took it down. what network does shit like that? They just ruined the anticipation of The episode i directed, I WORKED HARD ON THIS. I can’t work with these people anymore."
Fif continued: "Episode 7 of BMF is the best work i have done directing to date.I’m disappointed that STARZ handled this so poorly. I used my personal relationships to make things happen they couldn’t have made happen. @eminem thank you for doing this for me. I love you bro."
Still understandably heated, 50 typed once more, "They called me saying they wanted to hold episode7 back a week so we can roll right into GHOST.I said cool. Then these shithead people put the fucking episode out for 3hrs & take it downMan facepalmingThis is not ok when I get uncomfortable i make everybody uncomfortable now who getting fired?"
According to TV Line, Starz released a statement regarding the flub on Monday (Nov. 8), which read, "The fan demand for BMF, and specifically this highly-anticipated episode directed by executive producer Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, is undeniable. There was a technical glitch that allowed fans that have the Starz app, who logged in right at midnight, to temporarily access the episode early. The episode will be released globally, as planned, on Sunday, Nov. 14, across all Starz platforms."
BMF is based on the life story of Demetrius "Meech" Flenory and his brother Terry "Southwest T" Flenory and their rise in Detroit by way of building a drug empire.
White Boy Rick, the character Em is portraying, was an informant for the FBI as a teen while selling drugs and guns as a gang member. Rick, whose real name is Rick Wershe Jr., was later arrested for cocaine possession and sentenced to life in prison once he was no longer being used by the feds as their tipster. He was released on parole in June of 2020.

North Carolina Governor Pardons Black Man Who Spent 24 Years Wrongly Imprisoned!
A 46-year-old Black man who spent 24 years in prison for a murder he did not commit was pardoned on Friday (Nov. 12) by North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper.
via: NPR: Cooper’s pardon of innocence allows Dontae Sharpe to apply for compensation up to $750,000 for his wrongful conviction.
“Mr. Sharpe and others who have been wrongly convicted deserve to have that injustice fully and publicly acknowledged,” the governor said in a statement announcing he had pardoned the man after a careful review of the case.
In 1995, Sharpe was given a life sentence at age 19 for the first-degree murder of 33-year-old George Radcliffe, whom he was accused of killing a year earlier during a drug deal. Sharpe had maintained his innocence throughout and said in a 2019 interview that his faith and knowledge he was innocent guided his refusal to accept offers of a lighter sentence in exchange for a guilty plea.
At a virtual news conference Friday just an hour after Cooper’s announcement, Sharpe said he was in disbelief when his lawyer called him with the news. He said he was still processing it and also was thinking of those who had taken to the streets and held vigils on his behalf.
“I’m still in a haze kind of,” Sharpe said. “When you’re dealing with us human beings, it can go any way, yes and no. I didn’t know what to expect. I was believing for a pardon.”
The government’s case against Sharpe relied in part on testimony from a 15-year-old girl at the time who claimed she saw Sharpe kill Radcliffe but later recanted and said she wasn’t present at the time of the shooting. She later said her claims were made up, based on what investigators told her.
Sharpe was unsuccessful in his repeated efforts for a new trial until a former state medical examiner testified that the state’s theory of the shooting was not medically or scientifically possible. A judge subsequently ordered more evidence to be heard. Sharpe was released from prison in August 2019 after the prosecutor said the state wouldn’t pursue a retrial.
The NAACP had long pushed for Sharpe’s release over the years and urged Cooper to issue a pardon of innocence. In recent months, racial justice groups have demanded the governor grant Sharpe the clemency needed in order to apply for compensation for his wrongful conviction. They held vigils in front of Cooper’s state residence in downtown Raleigh for several weeks.
The Rev. Anthony Spearman, a longtime North Carolina NAACP leader who was among those who participated in a vigil outside the Governor’s Mansion pushing for a pardon, said, “This should have happened a long time ago.”
Sharpe thanked Cooper but called out a criminal justice system he considers “corrupt.” He said he planned to celebrate Friday evening with his family and will continue to press for other inmates to receive justice.
“My freedom is still incomplete as long as there’s still people going to prison wrongfully, if there’s still people in prison wrongfully and there’s still people that are waiting on pardons,” he said.
Wisconsin preps for protests ahead of jury verdict in Kyle Rittenhouse trial!
Governor Tony Evers released a statement on Friday (Nov. 12) authorizing Wisconsin National Guard to support local law enforcement in Kenosha, where the trial is being held.
As the contentious homicide trial of Kyle Rittenhouse is set to conclude early next week, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is preparing for backlash based on the jury’s verdict. Since the closing arguments are expected to be delivered on Monday (Nov. 15), NBC News reports Gov. Evers has placed 500 National Guard members on standby.
Evers released a statement on Friday (Nov. 12) authorizing the Wisconsin National Guard to support local law enforcement in Kenosha, where the trial is being held.
“The Kenosha community has been strong, resilient, and has come together through incredibly difficult times these past two years, and that healing is still ongoing,” Evers said. “I urge folks who are otherwise not from the area to please respect the community by reconsidering any plans to travel there and encourage those who might choose to assemble and exercise their First Amendment rights to do so safely and peacefully.”
Kyle Rittenhouse shooting victim says he thought he was an active shooter
“We stand ready to support our communities during times of need,” Maj. Gen. Paul Knapp, Wisconsin’s adjutant general added. “In close coordination with the governor, we have assembled approximately 500 Soldiers to help keep the Kenosha community safe, should a request from our local partners come in.”
The statement also mentions that Guard members “may only be used to provide support to local law enforcement and to protect critical infrastructure and cultural institutions necessary for the well-being of the community.” They will also be onsite to provide support to first responders, such as the Kenosha Fire Department. “The National Guard may not be used to impede the ability of people to peacefully protest or impede the ability of the media to report,” the statement reads.
Rittenhouse shot and killed 26-year-old Anthony Huber and 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum and wounded 27-year-old Gaige Grosskreutz during protests in Kenosha after the police shooting of Jacob Blake last year.
He is charged with intentional homicide, attempted intentional homicide, reckless homicide, possession of a dangerous weapon by a minor, among other charges. Rittenhouse, who was 17 years old at the time of the shootings, faces life in prison if he’s convicted of the first-degree intentional homicide charge and up to 60 years behind bars for the attempted intentional homicide and reckless homicide charges.
#BoxOfficeNews: Marvel’s ‘Eternals’ Has Another Number One Weekend And ‘Clifford The Big Red Dog’ comes in at Second!
Marvel’s Eternals dominated at the box office last weekend, opening to $71.3 million and making up 65% of the entire weekend box office, bringing the overall box office back above $100 million after two frames of falling short. While October had three weekends in a row where the box office stayed above $100 million, November is looking more like the somewhat front-loaded July which, despite some solid openings, never crossed $100 million in a weekend after Black Widow’s July 9-11 opening.
With no major competition, Eternals is looking at another number one weekend even if it has a big drop. While the Chloé Zhao directed film’s mixed reviews (47% on Rotten Tomatoes, the lowest in the franchise by a large margin) may not have hurt its opening weekend box office, the less than stellar word-of-mouth, as indicated by the film’s B CinemaScore (also the lowest in the franchise), is likely to hinder the film’s legs. The box-office performances of Shang-Chi, which has roughly tripled its opening weekend gross, and Doctor Strange, which opened to $85 million in the same early November slot in 2017 and had a multiplier of 2.7, seem like a long shot for Eternals, but this weekend will give us an idea of where it ends up.
A better comp for Eternals is Black Widow, which dropped 68% in its second weekend and had a multiplier of around 2.3. Of course, Black Widow had the caveat of being released on Disney+, so a drop of that size may make Eternals look like a disappointment compared to other MCU films. However, its opening weekend is the fourth best since the start of the pandemic, and its overseas performance is strong, with openings above Shang-Chi in many major markets, and $171 million already in the bank worldwide.
Coming in at number two this weekend should be Clifford the Big Red Dog, the first live-action film based on the popular children’s book series. Walt Becker (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip) directs the kid’s flick which stars Jack Whitehall, Darby Camp, Tony Hale, Sienna Guillory, John Cleese, and Kenan Thompson, not to mention its computer generated big red dog. Clifford opened Wednesday on 3,600 screens, grossing $2.3 million, and it hopes to catch the many kids who have school off this Veterans Day.
At 49% on Rotten Tomatoes, critics aren’t exactly singing praises for the film, but many note that it is a satisfying family entertainment, and audiences agree. Clifford received an A CinemaScore, and it has little competition in the kid-friendly segment until Disney’s animated Encanto opens on November 24. While positive word of mouth is a plus, the film’s availability on Paramount+ could hold the film’s potential back. Clifford’s international rollout starts in December.
The most significant title at the specialty box office this weekend is Focus Features’ Belfast, which is opening in 588 theaters. Belfast is written and directed by Kenneth Branagh who based the story on his childhood growing up in Belfast in the late 1960s. Jude Hill, Caitríona Balfe, Jamie Dornan, Judi Dench, Ciarán Hinds, and Colin Morgan headline the coming of age film which premiered at Telluride, won the People's Choice Award at Toronto, and has charmed critics (87% on Rotten Tomatoes).
Belfast is being buzzed about as an Oscar contender, as is often the case for TIFF’s People’s Choice Award winners, and it has been nominated for 11 British Independent Film Awards. Regardless of how it plays this weekend, Belfast’s box office is one to watch in the coming months as the awards season heats up.
Also notable in limited release is Sony Pictures Classics’ documentary Julia about the iconic food personality Julia Child. The film, which is produced by Ron Howard, is currently at 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. Directors Julie Cohen and Betsy West previously made the Oscar nominated 2018 documentary RBG which grossed $14 million.
Following up on Red Notice, which Netflix released last weekend ahead of its streaming debut this weekend, we are seeing another theatrical release from the streamer with Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tick, Tick... Boom! The film, which will debut on Netflix next weekend, stars Andrew Garfield as Jonathan Larson, the playwright and composer behind the Broadway hit "Rent" as well as the autobiographical show the film is based on

Is Keke Palmer Joining ‘Sister Act 3’?
Keke Palmer stopped by The View on Wednesday to discuss her new book series Southern Belle Insults on Amazon Prime. Though, Palmer quickly shifted the conversation to host Whoopi Goldberg and let her know that she wants to work with her on an upcoming project.
The project discussed is the upcoming Disney+ movie Sister Act 3. Palmer was quick to ask Goldberg about the project, “Now Whoopi, I gotta shoot my shot, like I did with Issa [Rae for a role in Insecure] a little bit ago. I heard that Tyler Perry is doing ‘Sister Act 3’ and I just want you to know I’m available for the job. Any job. I mean, you ain’t got to say nothing now, you know, I’ll send you an email or something. Just let know if you need me.”
Well, it looks Keke Palmer didn’t need to ask at all and it was probably unnecessary altogether. Whoopi did in fact have something to say in the moment, and it left Palmer excited but speechless, “I already brought it up,” Whoopi replied with a smile. This is no confirmation but it’s a good sign that it is going to happen.
Whoopi Goldberg is already signed on to return. The third movie in the Sister Act series comes nearly 30 years after Goldberg first starred as Deloris or as we come to know her, Sister Mary Clarence, the lounge singer turned singing nun.
Tim Federle (Ferdinand, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) will direct the project with Madhuri Shekar (The Nevers) writing the script. Goldberg will produce alongside Tyler Perry, Tom Leonardis.

Cardi B Claps Back At Commentator Who Called Her ‘Mixed’ After Hair Growth Photo: ‘There Is No Such Thing As Bad Hair. All Hair Is Good!’
Cardi B took to social media to share a mirror selfie showing off her natural hair growth after adopting a consistent hair routine and the responses to the photo were everything, with many fans admiring Cardi’s natural mane and hoping to achieve similar results. However, some commentators suggested that Cardi could only have achieved hair that healthy because she’s “mixed” and is, therefore “supposed to have long hair” which didn’t sit too well with the rap star.
After seeing a few mixed comments, the 29-year-old took to Instagram to shut all of the chatter down, posting a series of photos that showed off her years-long hair journey that started when she was just a little girl. “Why everytime I post my natural hair I hear “you’re MIXED you’re supposed to have long hair”? That’s not true and very misleading,” she wrote. “I been posting pics of my hair journey for years and being mixed don’t mean your hair is always long and curly, that wasn’t my case. Since I was a child I have problems with managing my hair and couple years ago I find different methods that work for me and look at my length now. They’ll try to make us believe our hair won’t grow this long it’s not true. A lot of hair products we used back then wasn’t good for our hair but that’s all we had to choose from also we couldn’t afford to get to the salon regularly, if at all. now everybody is getting better options, making affordable GOOD products, learning from natural hair YouTube and tiktok about how to care for our hair better. I want women of color with tighter curl patterns to know that you don’t have “BAD HAIR” there’s no such thing as bad hair . and “good” hair don’t mean a certain texture. ALL HAIR IS GOOD.”
After posting to Instagram, she then doubled down with the same message on Twitter, reiterating the fact that her long, healthy locs are a result of proper hair maintenance. “ItS gEnEtICS! No it’s proper hair maintenance,” she wrote. “I have a hair texture that requires lots of love and maintenance. This pictures show my hair from childhood, high school & adult hood and since I started takin care of my hair the right way it has grown TREMENDOUSLY!”
Like Cardi said, all hair is good hair, and we love to see her natural hair journey!
Transgender Woman Sues After Being Forced To Share Cell With 3 Men And Almost Being Beat To Death!
A transgender woman was forced to share a jail cell with three men, one of whom “viciously” assaulted her while she was asleep, according to a lawsuit against San Diego County and its sheriff’s department.
Kristina Frost initially arrived at San Diego Central Jail on November 25, 2020, she was placed by herself in a holding cell. Then later that day, the deputies moved Frost to a “minimally monitored” cell with three men, the lawsuit said. The move was “against her wishes,” and Frost was “confused” as to why she was being transferred, given that her DMV records and driver’s license both said she was a woman.
Frost also said that at the time of her booking, she had been wearing “feminine” clothes – high-cut shorts and a bra – the filing said.
She also expressed that deputies there repeatedly misgendered Frost both in person and on official documents, the lawsuit said.
According to the claim, Frost was “viciously” ambushed by one of the men in the cell after she had fallen asleep on the night of November 25. She received “closed-fist punches” to the face, which resulted in her jaw being fractured in two places, the lawsuit stated.
Frost had to receive two surgeries for her broken jaw and is now instructed to wear dentures, the lawsuit said.
In the suit, Frost explained that some deputies saw the attack and that none of them “immediately intervened.” The man was “eventually” removed from the cell.
NBC News announced that out of 4,890 transgender state prisoners traced in 45 states and Washington, DC, it was able to confirm just 15 cases in which an individual was housed according to their lived gender.
Jon Gruden sues NFL for allegedly leaking emails that led to his resignation!
Former Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden is suing the N.F.L. and its commissioner, Roger Goodell, for what Gruden's lawyers say was a concerted effort by the league to ruin his career.
Gruden resigned as coach of the Raiders a month ago after homophobic, misogynistic, and racist emails he wrote were published by The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
The lawsuit, filed Thursday in the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County, Nev., accuses the league and Goodell of engaging in "a malicious and orchestrated campaign" against Gruden, alleging that officials intentionally leaked the emails during the middle of the Raiders' season to inflict "maximum damage" on Gruden and his team.
The Journal first reported that Gruden used racist tropes to denigrate DeMaurice Smith, the executive director of the NFL Players Association, on Oct. 8. When the head coach remained in his position after the Journal report, the league "ratcheted up the pressure,'' by threatening to make more evidence public if the Raiders failed to terminate Gruden. The suit alleges that the league leaked more communications to the Times, which published its report on Oct. 11.
Gruden resigned hours after. The NFL discovered the problematic emails during an investigation into workplace misconduct accusations against the Washington Football Team. The disparaging remarks were made during exchanges with Washington Football Team president Bruce Allen as well as others during Gruden's stretch as an ESPN commentator, prior to returning to coaching in 2018.
Those emails represented a fraction of roughly 650,000 messages reportedly reviewed by the NFL, which in July determined that the workplace environment in Washington was "highly unprofessional" and perpetuated bullying and intimidation. Washington was fined $10 million, but the league released only a short summary of the investigation — not a full accounting.
"There is no explanation or justification for why Gruden's emails were the only ones made public out of the 650,000 emails collected in the N.F.L.'s investigation of the Washington Football Team or for why the emails were held for months before being released in the middle of the Raiders' season," Adam Hosmer-Henner, one of Gruden's lawyers, said in a statement.
The NFL did not immediately respond to NPR's request for comment. NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy told CNN: "The allegations are entirely meritless and the NFL will vigorously defend against these claims."
In the aftermath of Gruden's resignation, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — who earned their first Super Bowl title with Gruden as head coach — removed his name from their Ring of Honor at Raymond James Stadium.
Jam Master Jay’s Alleged Shooters Won’t Face The Death Penalty!
The two men currently on trial for the killing Run-DMC group member Jam Master Jay will not face the death penalty.
According to AllHipHop.com U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that prosecutors will not seek the death penalty against Ronald “Tinard” Washington and Karl “Lil D” Jordan for the death of the famous dj, born Jason Mizell.
“Please be advised that United States Attorney General Merrick B. Garland has authorized and directed the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York not to seek the death penalty against defendants Karl Jordan, Jr. and Ronald Washington,” United States Attorney Breon Peace confirmed to Judge LaShann DeArcy Hall.
Jam Master Jay was shot and killed at his recording studio in Queens on October 30, 2002. Prosecutors believe Washington and Jordan murdered Mizell after they supposedly cut out of a drug deal. The two were charged with murder last year.
Jam Master Jay’s ties to The Black Mafia Family uncovered in a new article.

Chico DeBarge Arrested On Third Meth Possession Charge In Two Years!
Chico DeBarge was recently arrested for his third methamphetamine possession charge as well as drug paraphernalia.
According to TMZ, on November 6th, authorities received a call about a man “causing a disturbance” at a mobile home. When the officers arrived, they noticed an RV with a registration tag that expired six months ago. This prompted the officers to search the mobile home as a routine of the impoundment process.
In the midst of their search, the authorities discovered methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia where DeBarge was living. Chico was arrested immediately and booked for possession of controlled substances. However, the singer was ultimately released on a promise to appear citation.
This isn’t Chico’s first time having problems with drugs. DeBarge, who rose to fame with his musical family in the ’80s, has always been open about his addiction. Chico was arrested in 2007, late 2019, and early 2021 on drug possession charges
